Mystery Dungeons began appearing in Equestria, an unknown threat from another dimension, a new ultra adventure is just beginning
After all the things that has happened, Equestria is finally greeted with a peaceful environment. However this peace will only last for so long. When mysterious things begins taking place with the world of the ponies, Starlight ends up becoming a temporary member of an Expedition Team and helping them solve the mysteries revolving around the Ultra Wormholes, and the secrets of the creatures that hail from the wormholes. Characters from past mystery dungeon series will return as well as new characters hailing from Pokemon Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
The moon was high above the skies over Lively Town and the members of the Expedition Society had already turned in for the night. The sound of Emi's soft breathing was the only source of sound to be heard. Next to her was her partner Ralph. The two had known each other since they had gone to the same school, but now they were full fledged members of the Expedition Society. Emi had agreed to do this only because she wanted to help Ralph achieve his dream of becoming an adventurer. This was the third night she was staying the the Expedition Society HQ with Ralph. But it was obvious that nobody had joined the their team yet, it was started about a week ago after all. But within that short amount of time , Emi had been seeing dreams every night. It was confusing to her about who had been reaching out to her through her dreams, but she was determined to keep a secret until she could figure out who it was.
"Is this another dream?" asked Emi. Suddenly the voice echoed throughout the area.
"Emi......" the voice whispered.
"It's you, who are you?" Emi asked.
"Emi......help....." the voice whimpered.
"Help?" asked Emi.
"Help....danger..." the voice whispered.
"Who is it, who's there?" asked Emi.
"World......danger.....they.....need......help....." the voice whispered.
"Danger?" asked Emi.
"Help.......world......needs....you," the voice whispered. Suddenly the dream began to waver and the voice slowly began to fade away.
"Wait don't go!" Emi called out.
"Be.....careful......" the voice whispered as it faded away. Emi shot out of bed gasping. She looked around the room. It was already morning and sunlight was pouring in through the window. Emi sighed as she looked over to Ralph who was still fast asleep.
"Help, that voice said this world was in danger, but from what?" Emi asked herself. "For the past few days I've been getting the same dream, but I haven't received any new information," "I suppose I'll have to keep waiting," Ralph yawned as he slowly sat up.
"Oh man morning already?" groaned Ralph.
"Good morning Ralph," said Emi.
"Oh morning Emi, you're up pretty early," said Ralph. "I suppose, it's because you're excited to get the day,"
"Um actually..." said Emi. But her statement was quickly interrupted.
"Yeah, don't worry, you'll feel even better after breakfast," smiled Ralph.
"Probably," said Emi. She looked away trying to hide her worries from last night's dream.
"Come on, let's go, don't wanna be late for morning roll call do ya?" asked Ralph. He slipped the bag over his head and shoulders.
"No, no we don't wanna be late," answered Emi tying the green scarf around her neck.
"Well then let's go!" said Ralph running out the door grabbing his scarf. Emi was worried about last night's dream but decided to shake it off as she followed her partner out the door. Emi joined Ralph and the rest of the Expedition Society members in the large room where they usually did roll call. It appeared that she was last. She quickly ran to her position.
"Good, it seems everyone has arrived," said Ampharos.
"Anything new chief?" asked Buizel.
"I was just getting there Buizel," replied Ampharos. "Now then considering that we only received our newest members just recently, I wouldn't want them to do any risky work so I want them to continue using their Connection Orb," "However I was informed about a strange Mystery Dungeon that appeared just yesterday," The room was filled with oohs.
"A new dungeon!?" asked Bunnelby?
"Yes, from the news I've received, it appears like any other Mystery Dungeon, but the secret lies at the end of the dungeon, apparently as you go deeper into the dungeon, it'll eventually lead you into a completely different world," answered Ampharos.
"Wait it leads you into another world?!" gasped Archen.
"Doesn't that sound like....." stutters Dedenne.
"The Ultra Wormholes," answered Ampharos seriously. The room immediately fell into dead silence. It hasn't happened before, but for some reason, lately mysterious holes have been opening up in the Pokemon World that lead to different dimensions, Emi didn't know how or why it started, but witnesses who have entered these Wormholes by accident almost never made it out alive. Because they were attacked by vicious creatures, they began to name these holes, Ultra Wormholes. "I plan to send word to the neighboring towns, to report directly to us if they find anything similar," said Ampharos. "That includes the Wigglytuff guild and the Pokemon living in Post Town,"
"Wait quick question!" said Ralph.
"Yes, what is it Ralph?" asked Ampharos.
"So technically, you assigned the creation of the world map to us right?" asked Ralph.
"That's right," answered Mawile.
"SO technically that means we're allowed to go into this new dungeon right!?" asked Ralph excitedly.
"It's true I want you to work on making the world map, but it's a new dungeon that leads to who knows where, it's going to be quite dangerous," answered Ampharos.
"But what happens if someone needs help in that dungeon!?" asked Ralph.
"We leave it to some other member," replied Ampharos.
"But....but..." Ralph stuttered.
"Ralph I'm sorry, I know how excited you are, but I'm afraid I can't risk putting you two into any dangerous situations until I learn what's at the end of that dungeon," apologized Ampharos.
"It's true especially since Ultra Wormholes are appearing more frequently now," said Mawile. Ralph looked down disappointed.
"I'm really sorry Ralph, but don't worry I'll be sure to let you go explore once I get more info on the dungeon," said Ampharos smiling. "So please just focus on you're work for now ok?
"Yeah alright," said Ralph suddenly perking up. "I really wanted to go now, but I guess I can wait,"
"Great, then let's see, Mawile do you think you can go to that dungeon with Bunnelby?" asked Ampharos.
"Of course," answered Mawile.
"Great, then Mawile and Bunnelby will go to that new dungeon, everyone else will continue their work as usual," ordered Ampharos. Everyone nodded. "Well then, give it your all out there team!"
"Yes sir!" everyone answered as they split up. Emi looked over to Ralph, normally he wouldn't give up on something like this, why did he accept it this time? Emi shook it off as she followed after her partner. And so the two did their work for that day, ate dinner, and went to bed. The next day during morning roll call.....
"Alright team, today is a new day!" announced Ampharos. The room suddenly erupted with cheers from the members. "So far on updates, I've received news on the new dungeon,"
"Already?!" gasped Archen.
"So from what it looked like, it definitely DID look like any normal dungeon, it had a total of 9 floors, but something strange happened that changed everything," said Bunnelby.
"Normally as we proceed through dungeons, we wold continue to encounter more enemies, but when hitting the seventh floor on this dungeon, all signs of enemies had completely vanished," added Mawile. The entire room was soon filled with gasps.
"It wasn't until we got onto the eighth floor that we started encountering strange multi colored ponies that can talk," said Bunnelby.
"Multi colored talking ponies?" asked Ralph confused.
"Is it a new Pokemon?" asked Swirlix.
"I don't know, but when Bunnelby and I hit the ninth and final floor, we soon found ourselves in a strange world inhabited by those strange ponies," answered Mawile.
"Anything else?' asked Ampharos.
"No, from what we learned there's nothing dangerous about these ponies, however most of them seem eager to learn the magic of friendship as they put it," answered Bunnelby.
"So it's safe to go in am I right?" asked Ampharos.
"Yes, you can reach the dungeon from the gates hear in Lively Town," replied Mawile.
"You hear that Ralph?" smiled Ampharos.
"Yes, we can go explore!" cheered Ralph excitedly. "Oh one more question though,"
"What is it?" asked Mawile.
"What was the dungeon called?" asked Ralph.
"Well the dungeon doesn't exactly have a name yet, but the ponies were calling their strange world something," answered Bunnelby.
"What was it called?" asked Jirachi.
"Equestria," Bunnelby and Mawile answered in unison.
Emi silently ate her breakfast while she thought about the dream from last night. If only she could find out who was calling out to her, maybe she could ask Ampharos about it. But right now she knew very little. She didn't know the Pokemon asking for help or what it was he or she wanted. They had mentioned something about the world in danger but other than that she didn't know what it is they needed.
"Hey Emi are you alright?" Ralph asked.
"What..... oh uh yeah I'm fine," answered Emi.
"Alright, well hurry up and finish breakfast so we can go explore this new dungeon," said Ralph.
"Yeah ok," said Emi. Ralph went back to attacking his pancake but Emi couldn't bother to finish her food. After breakfast the two approached Ampharos.
"What now?" asked Ampharos.
"I can't help it, I need to go today!" beamed Ralph.
"Well I you two have been giving your best with work especially as kids so I suppose it's all right," said Ampharos.
"Alright thanks!" cheered Ralph as he ran out.
"Oh but be careful!" Ampharos called out.
"We will thanks!!!" Ralph called back.
"My, my what a sweet boy he is," laughed Ampharos. "Well Emi you should go after him,"
"I know, said Emi running after her partner.
"So this is it huh?" gasped Ralph. From the looks of the entrance it definitely looked like something little kids would normally be excited about. From the flowers on the gates and the beautiful greenery. "Well let's go!" said Ralph running.
"Al-alright," stuttered Emi running in after him. It was just as Mawile and Bunnelby had explained, for the first seven floors, Emi and Ralph fought past enemy Pokemon and by the time they reached the 8 floor, no enemy presence could be detected.
"Wow Mawile and Bunnelby weren't kidding were they?" asked Ralph.
"Definitely, this is strange," answered Emi.
"Well, let's keep going!" said Ralph running ahead.
"Geez, if he keeps running off like that, he's going to run into trouble," sighed Emi. The two eventually reached the end of the dungeon on the 9th floor where they soon found themselves in the middle of a grass field. "What the heck?" Emi asked.
"Let's go ask someone where we are," said Ralph.
"Wait!" Emi called out to him. But he ignored her and kept running. Emi sighed and ran after him.
Starlight took a bite of her sandwich as Fluttershy poured her another cup of tea. "Fluttershy this is delicious!" she beamed.
"I did my best so I'm glad you like it," squeaked Fluttershy.
"No really it's good," said Starlight taking another bite. Fluttershy gently pushed the cup towards Starlight as Angel bunny jumped next to her and tugged on her mane.
"What is it Angel?" asked Fluttershy. Angel quickly pointed behind her with a confused look.
'What is it Fluttershy?" asked Starlight.
"I don't know but I think Angel wants to show me something," answered Fluttershy. Starlight got up and walked next to Fluttershy as Angel turned around.
"Wait do you hear that?" asked Starlight.
"Hear what?" Fluttershy asked confused. Starlight hushed Fluttershy and raised her ears. Sure enough voices of children could be heard coming over the hill. "Fillies?" asked Fluttershy.
"Possibly," answered Starlight. Suddenly a small figure emerged from the other side of the hill. The figure was definitely not a pony, but rather a small creature with blue fur. It red eyes and small white spikes on the back of it's paws. "What is that?" asked Starlight.
"Some kind of animal?" Fluttershy suggested.
"Maybe," answered Starlight. Just then another small creature emerged from over the hill. This one walked on all fours and had bright white fur. Large amounts of fur surrounded it's neck like a collar and it's large white ears twitched occasionally. Both creatures had green scarves around their necks.
"Should we get closer?" asked Fluttershy.
"Probably not, we don't know if those things are safe," answered Starlight. "For now let's watch from here,"
"Ok," said Fluttershy.
"Ralph I know you're excited but slow down will you?" gasped Emi.
"Oh come on, you're no fun," Ralph pouted.
"I'm just trying to keep an eye on you," gasped Emi.
"Yeah ok, but oh my Arceus this is awesome!" beamed Ralph. That's when he noticed two ponies watching them from a distance. "Hey look ponies!" Ralph cheered as he ran towards them.
"Ralph wait!" Emi called out. But once again he paid no attention to her. Emi sighed as she ran after him.
"Hi there!" Ralph beamed approaching the two. Suddenly the purple colored pony jumped up and pointed her horn at him.
"Stay back, don't take another step towards us!" she warned. Ralph froze and stepped back.
"Wait don't attack him!!!" Emi called out to them. Emi ran up to them gasping as the yellow pony crawled out from behind the purple.
"Sorry about that, he didn't mean to scare you," said Emi.
"Aww she can talk," cooed the yellow.
"Wait so can you!" gasped Ralph.
"You can understand us?" asked Starlight.
"Yeah apparently we can," Emi answered in a shocked tone.
"Hi I'm Ralph and this is my friend Emi," said Ralph shaking the purple pony's hoof.
"Nice to meet you both I'm Fluttershy and this is Starlight," said Fluttershy introducing themselves.
"Wait Fluttershy be careful we don't know if we can trust these two," said Starlight.
"Don't worry we're not here to cause trouble, we just came here to visit," said Emi.
"Visit?" asked Fluttershy. "Where are you two from?"
"Lively Town, we work for the Expedition Society there!" announced Ralph.
"Where and you work for who?" asked Starlight. Emi sighed as she began explaining to the two their situation. All the while Fluttershy listened with a cute smile and eventually the defensive Starlight lowered her guard eventually earning their trust.
"And that's all there is to it!" beamed Ralph.
"Wow, sounds like a wonderful place," cooed Fluttershy.
"Yeah, it's a nice place alright, no trouble just peace," lied Emi. "Now if you'll excuse us we must be going,"
"Wait why don't you stay a little longer, we can give a tour around ponyville and I'm sure our friends would like to meet you," said Starlight.
"We appreciate the offer but if we stay away too long, then Ampharos will start worrying about us," apologized Emi.
"Hey I know why don't you come with us?" asked Ralph.
"Well I would love to go but,I have other things I need to take care of here," answered Fluttershy.
"Oh, what about you Starlight?" asked Ralph.
"Sorry kiddo, but same," apologized Starlight.
"Oh," said Ralph. He lowered his head disappointed.
"But don't worry I'm sure we can meet again," said Fluttershy.
"Yeah i guess that's true," said Ralph. "Well I guess this is goodbye then," The four exchanged goodbye and Ralph and Emi was about to start heading back when a stream of fire suddenly struck the ground in front of them knocking them back.
"Oh no," said Fluttershy. Starlight ran over to them helping them up.
"Are you two alright?"
"Yeah we're fine, but what hit us?" asked Emi. Suddenly a sinister laughter rang out throughout the area.
"We finally found you!" a voice hissed. The four looked towards the forest as a black dog with horns and a large red muzzle stood before them smirking.
'Um who's that?' asked Fluttershy.
"I don't know but he doesn't look friendly," said Emi. The dog walked over to them still smirking.
"If it isn't the two brats from the Expedition Society, you two sure run around a lot, getting ready for a marathon I suppose?" sneered the dog.
"Well excuse me, but who do you think you are?" asked Emi.
"I am Doom the Houndoom, the Ultra Prism Squad's trusty henchmen," he answered. "And you, you have something that belongs to us,"
"What?" asked Ralph nervously. Suddenly a smaller version of Doom appeared next to Ralph and grabbed his bag before running back to it's leader. The dog flipped the bag upside down emptying it's contents. 2 bracelets with notches fell out along with three berries, three bottles, five seeds, two orbs, six sticks, and a bright red key.
"There it is," said Doom. He picked up the key with his mouth and snickered. "Thanks for the key runts!" He and the smaller dog ran off leaving the bag and it's contents behind.
"Hey give that back!" Ralph yelled.
"Ralph, forget it, we have to get back to HQ, we'll have to explain it to Ampharos," said Emi.
"Come on Ralph, I'll take you two back," said Starlight.
"What are you sure!?" gasped Emi.
"It's the least I could do for you two," answered Starlight. "Is that alright with you Ralph?"
"Yeah that'll be great," answered Ralph picking up their belonging.
"Alright then let's go," said Starlight. She turned around to face Fluttershy. "I'll be back," Fluttershy nodded as Starlight followed after the two.
Emi yawned as she sat up from her bed. She looked over to Ralph and Starlight who were still fast asleep. Looking out she could she the sunlight pouring in through the window, today was going to be another great day. However the dreams still worried her, even though she hadn't seen one in a while. It's been almost a week since Starlight joined and things have definitely gotten a lot livelier since.
"Oh morning Emi up already I see," said Ralph getting up.
"Morning Ralph," said Emi.
"Come on Starlight, we're gonna be late for morning roll call," said Ralph walking over to her. It didn't take too long for Ralph to wake her. She woke up instantly and the three headed into the main room.
"Give it your all out there team!" exclaimed Ampharos.
"Yes sir!" they all answered.
"Alright breakfast!" cheered Ralph as he ran to the dining hall.
"Energetic as ever," sighed Emi. Starlight laughed as she followed the two for breakfast. The three discussed their plans for the day as they ate. But when they checked the connection orb it showed that no Pokemon was in need of help. After breakfast they went to check the list of expeditions they had accepted.
"So where should we go today guys?" asked Ralph as they walked out of the dining hall. Emi was just about to respond before Starlight stopped them.
"Hey guys look at that," said Starlight. The two froze and looked up to see a strange creature standing the middle of the room. It had The creature had large green talons as it's front legs with a black body and blue scales on it's hind legs. It had a fish's fin as it's tail and the entire upper body was covered in shiny golden cream colored fur. It had a large fin on it's head with two green ears next to it. It's beak like mouth was shining in a golden tint and it's two eyes flew across the room as if it was looking for something.
"Oh my Arceus," gasped Ralph.
"What?" asked Emi.
"No way is that him!?" beamed Ralph. The creature's ear twitched as it turned it's head to look at the three.
"Uh Ralph he heard you," said Starlight. The creature stared at the three as if it was expecting something.
"Ralph why is he looking at us?" whispered Starlight.
"I don't know but, I can't believe he's here," squealed Ralph.
"Who?" asked Emi.
"Wait you don't know him?!" gasped Ralph. Starlight and Emi shook their head. "That's Spy the Silvally, according to rumors he's one of the strongest Pokemon known in these towns, I heard that he doesn't like working with others, but I've always dreamed of having someone like him join my team," said Ralph.
"Excuse me," Spy spoke up.
"Uh yes?" asked Ralph standing up straight.
"Do you know where I can go to speak with Ampharos?" asked Spy.
"Oh uh, Ampharos, well he's...." stuttered Ralph.
"He's in his room," answered Emi.
"Do you think you could take me there, I've never stepped foot in this place so I don't really know where I'm going," said Spy.
"Sure this way," said Emi walking towards the stairs. As the four walked to Ampharos's room, Emi had to keep an eye on Ralph to make sure he didn't go crazy. In all the times she'd known him, she had never saw him get worked up over a Pokemon like Spy. Emi knocked on Ampharos's door.
"Come in!" Ampharos responded. Emi opened the door and walked in. "Oh Emi good to see you, what can I help you with?"
"There's someone who wants to see you," answered Emi.
"Oh my, if it isn't the Pokemon from the rumors," said Ampharos as Spy walked in.
"Please sir, that only makes me look like the bad guy here," said Spy.
"I'm messing with you Spy," laughed Ampharos. "So what can I do for you?"
"I just want to pass on the message, our town has been experiencing a large number of disturbances regarding the Ultra Wormholes lately, I ask that you please be cautious when going out," answered Spy.
"I see, understood, thanks for the message," said Ampharos.
"If you need anything, please do contact me," said Spy handing him a slip of paper.
"I will," said Ampharos taking the paper.
"You heard that right?" asked Ralph as they walked out.
'Yes we did," answered Emi.
"It seems going out isn't going to be easy this time around," said Starlight.
"Let's just finish our expedition for today," said Emi. The other two nodded as she she pulled out the list. "Hey what about this one," suggested Emi.
"What is it?" asked Ralph.
"We've lost something precious to us, please help!" read Starlight. "From Umbreon and Espeon,"
"Well, considering all the other requests it sounds like these two really need this item, yeah let's do it!" exclaimed Ralph.
"Great, what about you Starlight?" asked Emi.
"Fine by me," answered Starlight.
"Alright, let's see it's in Nectar Meadow," said Emi.
'Alright, then let's go!" said Ralph running out. Emi sighed as she ran out after him. And so the three made their way to and through Nectar Meadow. As the three ran through the dungeon, Starlight watched the two battle from afar.When the reached the sixth floor, they reached a room where two sets of cards were found in a small box that was lying on the ground. "That must be it!" said Starlight. Ralph ran over and picked up the box just as the connection orb began to vibrate.
"You found the treasure!" read the message.
"Great let's get this to Umbreon and Espeon," said Emi. The three continued to make their way through the floor until they found the stairs.
"Ok so we're on the seventh floor," said Ralph.
"How much further?" asked Starlight. Just as she asked that, the connection orb began to vibrate. Emi pulled out her Expedition Gadget and opened the connection orb to find a message.
"You've arrived on the floor where Umbreon and Espeon are!" read the message.
'Great we're here," said Emi. "All we have to do is find them," The three began walking around on the floor until the came across a small room where two Pokemon were standing looking distressed.
"That must be them!" beamed Emi.
"Alright!" said Ralph running out. "Hey!" Ralph called out. The two mons turned their attention towards the three.
"Oh why hello there," the Pokemon with pink fur replied.
"You two must be Umbreon and Espeon," said Starlight.
"Indeed we are," answered Umbreon.
"Great we found you're treasure," said Emi.
"You did!?" gasped Espeon. Ralph nodded as he pulled the small box with the four cards out of his bag.
"Oh thank Arceus, we were so worried," said Espeon.
"We can't thank you enough," said Umbreon.
"It wasn't easy, but we managed to pull it off," said Starlight. Suddenly the connection orb began to vibrate. Emi pulled out her gadget and pulled up the connection orb.
"Congratulations, you and Umbreon are now connected!" read the message.
"Hey now that we're officially friends, if you ever want one of us to go into a dungeon, just call us and we'll be there," said Espeon.
"Thanks we'll take you up on that word," thanked Emi. Just as the three began exchanging goodbyes, a bright flash suddenly caught their attention. The group turned towards the light to see a large hole had opened up.
"What is that?" asked Umbreon. Suddenly from within the hole, two blue jellyfish like creatures emerged and hovered in front of the five. The group stared in awe as the two jellyfish moved out of the way revealing another of the jellyfish creatures but with a yellow tint instead of blue and white.
"Well, well what do we have here?" screeched the yellow jellyfish.
"Who are you!?" gasped Espeon.
"I am Neurosis, one of the 10 Ultra Prism captains, I'm in charge of the Nihilego Unit," answered the jellyfish.
"Yeah, you're the one who stole my lucky key!" exclaimed Ralph.
"Ha, your key!?" beamed Neurosis. "That key belongs to the Ultra Prism Squad, not some meddling Riolu and his Eevee friend!"
"What are you here for!?" growled Starlight.
"The Entercards of course!" sneered Neurosis. "We know you got 'em, so hand them over at once!"
"Over our dead body," hissed Espeon.
"If you won't hand them over, then we'll have to take it by force!" sneered Neurosis. Emi and the four got into battle stance preparing for an attack, but just before Neurosis could get his tentacles on them, something struck the ground in front of the two. "Gah, what the?"
"What was that?" asked Umbreon. Once the dust cleared, Emi and the others looked up to see something standing in front of them.
"Who are..." stuttered Emi.
"Looks like I made it in time," said Spy.
"Spy!?" gasped Ralph. The Silvally turned back to face the group.
"I'll handle this," said Spy. He turned towards Neurosis and his two Nihilego accomplices. "If it isn't captain Neurosis, I'd expect a troublemaker like you would be after the entercards,"
"Spy the Silvally, trying to get in our way?" hissed Neurosis.
"No just saving these innocents here," growled Spy. "Now I'm going to say this only one time, leave them be or suffer the consequences," Neurosis turned to face the group before turning his attention back towards Spy.
"You're some lucky fools, but don't expect help to arrive next time," hissed Neurosis. He quickly turned around and disappeared into the Ultra Wormhole with his two accomplices following behind.
"Are you alright?" asked Spy.
"Yeah, we're fine somehow," answered Umbreon.
"Thanks Spy," said Emi.
"No need for thanks," said Spy.
"Well we're done with our expedition, let's head back," suggested Starlight. Emi and Ralph nodded and was about to start making their way back to lively when Spy stopped them.
"Wait," Spy called out to them. The three turned around as he approached them. "You guys wouldn't mind if I joined your team would you?" The three including Umbreon and Espeon gasped.
"Wait you, want to join us?" asked Emi.
"I really thought about it for a while and I would say that I wouldn't be making a joke out of this," answered Spy. The five looked at Ralph. Ralph looked up at Spy and down as if he was thinking about.
'We would love to have you, but no sorry," apologized Ralph. Emi and Starlight stared at him in shock.
"Ralph, you said that having someone like Spy is like a dream come true, why reject him now?" asked Starlight.
"I know that's what I want, but the truth is I didn't want it to be like this," said Ralph.
"Ralph, do you know why I asked to join?" asked Spy. Ralph looked up at him with curious eyes. "I Truth is I did used to be a part of an expedition team, there I met someone,"
"Someone?" asked Ralph.
"Yes, someone I soon fell in love with, eventually that someone also fell in love with me, we soon started hanging out with each other more often, we couldn't stay away from each other," said Spy.
"Aww," cooed Espeon.
"But then something happened, and soon I ended up losing not just my team but her as well, because of that incident I started isolating myself from society, all the while I couldn't get her out of my mind, she was THAT important to me," "I couldn't accept the fact that she went missing, my mind wouldn't let me, I continued to search for her while working alone," "I refused to work with or join in any expedition or rescue teams,"
"So the rumors were wrong," said Ralph.
"As much as I appreciated everyone's support, I couldn't stop thinking about the one I held dear, however something was not right, something was missing," said Spy. "I needed a key, something that would help me find her, Ralph I believe you and your team is that key to finding the one I hold dear," Everyone looked at one another with a sad look. "So please Ralph will you let me join?"
"What do you think?" asked Starlight. Ralph looked down and wiped the tears from his eyes as he looked up.
"Welcome to the team Spy," said Ralph holding out his paw.
"Thank you," said Spy shaking his paw.
"So sweet," sniffled Espeon.
"Well now that's done with, let's start heading back," suggested Emi. The three nodded their head in agreement. Once again Ralph ran ahead leaving the three to follow.
"Hang in there, I'll find you," Spy said to himself.
That evening Emi, Ralph, Spy, and Starlight returned to the Expedition Society HQ to report that day's eventful expedition. Everything from Spy's recruitment to the encounter with Ultra Prism Captain Neurosis. Ampharos was amazed by Spy's recruitment but shocked about the encounter. And so after dinner that night, he called for a meeting before evening activities.
"I would like to thank you all for gathering here on time," said Ampharos.
"What's the news this time chief?" asked Buizel.
"First of all, I am happy to announce that we have a new member of the Expedition Society," beamed Ampharos. "Everyone I am happy to introduce Ralph's newest team mate, Spy the Silvally,"
"What!?" they all gasped.
"Spy, from the rumors!?" asked Archen. "THAT Spy?"
"Indeed, I want you all to give him a nice big welcome to the Expedition Society," said Ampharos.
"It's great to have you here!" cheered Dedenne.
"Alright a new member!" exclaimed Bunnelby.
"Thanks for having me," said Spy.
"Now moving onto more serious matters," said Ampharos. The room quieted down to here what Ampharos had to say. "Recently on an expedition to Equestria, Ralph and Emi had been attacked by an unknown Pokemon who claims to be working for the Ultra Prism Squad," said Ampharos. "I have received news from Spy that they were once again attacked, this time by Ultra Prism Captain Neurosis,"
"Who?" asked Buizel.
"Neurosis, he's one of the ten captains in the squadron, he's the one leading the Nihilego Unit," answered Spy.
"One of 10?" asked Bunnelby.
"I have asked Mawile to do some in depth research on this mysterious organization, and from what I've learned from Spy and Mawile's research, I would like to share with you all tonight," said Ampharos. "Are you ready?" Everyone nodded. "First things first, it seems that these members are the ones that appear from the Ultra Wormholes that have been appearing in this world,"
"Are they aliens?" asked Swirlix.
"We don't know for certain, but they do have that aura to them," answered Jirachi.
"Next, the Ultra Prism Squad has an interesting way of running things, first there's their leader who is currently unknown to us, then comes the captains who takes orders from their leader, then the members which act as the main form military in this organization, and finally the Pokemon who are NOT the members but works as the accomplices or helpers to the organization," said Ampharos.
"Doom is one of them right?" asked Starlight.
"That's right," answered Ampharos.
"Next thing, like Spy said, there are a total of 10 different captains that takes orders from their leader, Neurosis is one of them," added Mawile.
"Who are the other 9?" asked Ralph.
"According to my research, they go by the names of Bulge, Pheromone, Xander, Katana, Celeste, Gourmet, Bombshell, Stack, and Neuropathy," answered Mawile.
"Finally the members of the Ultra Prism Squad are the ONLY one's who can open and close Ultra Wormholes at their own free will," said Ampharos. "Which does leave some questions,"
"Like if their the only one's who can open Ultra Wormholes, then how does the helpers of the organization get to their hideout," suggested Jirachi.
"Their are still some mysteries revolving around the Ultra Prism Squad or U.P.S. for short, like why do they need Ralph's key or Umbreon and Espeon's Entercards," said Ampharos. " "We plan to continue investigating so we can learn more about these visitors from beyond the wormholes," "In the meantime, Spy, whenever you are going out, I want you to keep a close eye on Emi and Ralph and if you run into any trouble or you learn anything new, contact Dedenne immediately,"
"Roger," said Spy saluting.
"Emi, Ralph, it's obvious that there something about you two that keeps drawing members of the U.P.S. towards you, therefore from now on whenever you're going out, I want you to be extra cautious, if anything were to happen tell Starlight or Spy understand?" asked Ampharos.
"Yes sir," they both answered in unison.
"It's the same for the rest of you, if anything happens while you're out contact Dedenne immediately, protecting Emi and Ralph was one of our priorities, but now I want you to make it your number one goal," said Ampharos. "until we learn more about the U.P.S. keeping these two safe should come first,"
"Yes sir!" they all answered.
"Alright, that's it for tonight, we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow so be sure to get to bed on time and rest up, until then goodnight!" announced Ampharos. With that the members broke off and went their own way to prepare for bed that night.
Meanwhile somewhere beyond the Ultra Wormhole, in a world where darkness envelops the entire dimension. The dark castle opens it's gate as Doom approached. Behind him, Zoroark and Krookodile stood inspecting the castle's towers.
"Let's go," said Doom walking in. Zoroark and Krookodile hesitated but followed him in anyway. As the three entered the castle, Neurosis suddenly hovered out from behind one of the pillars and approached them.
"You're late," Neurosis hissed.
"My bad ok?" growled Doom. "It's wasn't easy finding Zoroark when she could be 70 other Pokemon.
"The king is getting impatient, he doesn't have time for you're excuses," Neurosis hissed.
"You don't have to remind me," Doom growled annoyed with Neurosis's pestering. Doom, Zoroark, and Krookodile followed after Neurosis as he led them up a flight of stairs. The three were eventually led to two giant metal doors that was being guarded by two strange creatures. Both of them resembled giant red mosquitoes covered in bulging muscles.
"Open the door," Neurosis hissed. The two creatures grabbed the handles and opened the two large doors that led into a giant room. Neurosis led the three into the room as the two creatures closed the door behind them. Krookodile looked around the room and saw ten banners of the Ultra Prism Captains hanging from the walls. There were five banners on each side that eventually led two two giant statues that stood next to a giant black prism in the center. The banners for Neurosis, Bulge, Katana, Gourmet, and Bombshell was hanging on the left wall that lead to the statue of a giant lion. The banners for Xander, Pheromone, Celeste, Neuropathy, and Stack was hanging on the right wall that lead to the statue of a giant bat. "Sir they have arrived," said Neurosis. That's when Krookodile and Zoroark realized that the giant black prism in the center was actually the backside of a large throne.
"Leave me," a deep voice answered. Neurosis bowed as he turned around and left the room. Once the doors shut the voice spoke up.
"You must be the one that retrieved the key," said the voice.
"Uh, yes your majesty," said Doom bowing.
"I appreciate your cooperation," said the voice. "Now what about the entercards?"
"W-what sir?" asked Doom.
"I thought I told you to get me the entercards," said the voice.
"Your majesty I think you must be mistaken, you never told me to get the entercards," said Doom.
"Ah yes, that's right," said the voice.
"But at least the prisoner can't escape now that you have the key," stuttered Doom.
"Yes, yes I suppose so," said the voice. "What about Zeraora, you heard from him yet?" asked the voice.
"No sir," answered Doom.
"The kid seems to be taking his sweet time, but I guess it's better that way," said the voice. "You're dismissed," Doom bowed and quickly turned around to leave, Krookodile and Zoroark following behind. As the doors shut, the shadow hiding behind the bat statue emerged. "When will you learn Marshadow?" asked the voice.
"Heh, I wonder," snickered the shadow. "Hey Mr. all powerful king, when will you let me get one of those beautiful diamonds?"
"It's too soon to be letting her go, just make sure she doesn't escape," said the voice.
"Whatever you say boss," said the shadow. With that he sank into the floor leaving the Pokemon alone.
"Soon, very soon, my dream will become reality," said the voice.
