Long ago, There was nothing...

The galaxy was a desolate dark place filled with empty space. No stars. No light. Nothing...

Suddenly, The creators sent down 2 ponies to occupy this space. One was deemed Galaxia, A winged unicorn mare who was blessed with the power of creating the stars. The second was given the name Cosmos, A winged unicorn stallion who was blessed with the power to pulled the stars together in a spiral of something called gravity.

They mated, creating more alicorns and the once desolate space brimmed with life as solar systems were born. Soon, a young alicorn mare given the unique name of Lauren Faust spread her wings to inhabit her own universe with an average yellow star, she named The Sun.

She used a giant space rock and morphed it to fit her needs, giving it a spherical shape and an atmosphere. Plants grew and small animals evolved to make it their home.

She used her magic to split herself into multiple pieces. She created the races of Pegasi, ponies with wings who roam the skies controlling the once unpredictable weather patterns and walking on clouds. Earth Ponies, average ponies who live their life tethered to the sturdy ground protecting it as they grow many plants. And finally Unicorns, a horned pony, who look over and maintain balance researching and learning about their world.

Faust knew she could never see her ponies in person, so she created a weaker piece of herself. A daughter... Her pink hair flowed with untapped power as she was cradled by the sun. The heat didn't affect the filly, in fact it empowered her. Faust named her Celestia and bonded her to the sun making her forever immortal as long as a sun shone brightly upon her.

A century later, Faust knew Celestia would not be able to handle the power and demand of the world on her own. So she grabbed half of a nearby planet, she called Pluto and molded it into a white rock. She then birthed another daughter named Luna or Moon and bonded it to the white rock creating a light for the night.

Celestia took care of Luna as they grew into young fillies but Celestia was called by Starswirl, a powerful unicorn that ruled their land at the time. She and Luna were messiah sent by Faust herself to preserve their land and lead them.

Luna was very sceptical and cautious for a child while Celestia jumped at the idea. They were to be crowned princesses!!! Her and Luna's dream since they could walk on their shaky hooves.

Luna was kind and reserved preferring to enjoy small groups of ponies while Celestia was prideful and outgoing creating allies wherever she went.

Then one day, Faust was tending to her solar system as a sudden disturbance was born from within her earth. A chimera formed and fed by the evil within her little ponies formed. He caused chaos within her kingdom without even doing anything.

The child was dangerous but she couldn't just excute it. It was crucial to the balance of the fragile planet. So Faust just watched as it grew developing its unnatural raw magic.

She gave it, the name...Discord

A white alicorn filly with a long, straight pink mane slept soundly next to a smaller blue mare with a short, lighter blue mane. Celestia's magenta eyes fluttered open as she woke up next to her younger sister, Luna, as the moon was high in the sky. The filly didn't move but her horn sat aglow, rearranging the stars in the view of the night sky. "Thou art nervous..." The tiny blue filly said without looking at her.

Celestia gulped a bit feeling the cool night air brush through her silky pink mane. "Thou always were the observant one..." She said putting a fore-leg around her sister. Luna snorted and rolled her eyes continuing to arrange the moon slightly into a perfect cresent.

"I felt a tingling feeling crawl through my chest like...a disturbance or maybe a feeling of great caution for what is ahead" She explained with a sigh. Luna nodded "We have felt the same, dear sister" She replied quickly.

"Thou doth not have to use the royal 'we' when talking to me, Lulu" Celestia giggled. Luna's fur darkened a bit as her cheeks grew hot "I will remember that, Tia" She replied in a low shy voice.

Celestia stretched letting out a petite groan "Let us return to our temporary chambers to rest" She offered walking towards the huge tent that set on the edge of the huge mountain. They could see their small colony over the horizon and their castle standing over it peaking through the forest.

Luna nodded despite not feeling tired. They both walked back to tent and fell into blissful slumbers.

Celestia soon found herself awoken by a slight shuffling within the darkness. Luna slept oblivious to what was happening. Celestia looked around to where she heard the noise and squealed as a multicolored blur ran past her. She turned to see a multicolor chimera creature eating from her white bag with her emblem on it.

His body parts clashed with each other and he was weirdly interesting to the young filly. Celestia huffed stomping towards the colt "Tis wrong to steal, especially from royalty" She growled. The colt froze just as a cookie touched his lips. Suddenly, a poof sounded and the colt was farther away from the alabaster filly.

Celestia growled galloping towards him. The colt dropped on all fours running away from her. Celestia growled "Hey! We demand that thou cease this nonsense immediately!" She yelled pouncing on his tail. The chimera screamed out as the royal alicorn trampled over his sensitive tail.

"How doth thou wish to be addressed" She panted pinning the colt to the ground. He blew his white bangs from his face and saw the most beautiful creature in the world.

Her pink mane fell straight down her face only to be pinned back by a gold tiara. Her face held a scowl as she watched his eyes roam her body, staring at her. Celestia cleared her throat making him jolt up slightly. "When i hatched, a mare's voice in my head named me...Discord" He mumbled as his bangs shuffled back over his eyes.

Celestia stood up holding a hesitant hoof out towards him. The young colt looked up at her confused as he stood up on his hind legs. The alicorn rolled her eyes putting her hoof on the ground with a huff.

"Well then, Sir Discord, thou should know that we are a princess of a small colony south of here. We do not appreciate your thievery of our things" Celestia said in a regal tone. Discord nodded lightly grazing her gold regalia with his talon.

Celestia ignored this action and took the time to observe this creature. Long white bangs that faded into a black mane. Crimson eyes with yellow sclera. Mixed matched body.

This peaked her curiosity. What other creatures like him were in their world? Celestia bounced a bit and looked at the colt "What art thou? Art there more of thou? What dost thou eat?" Celestia questioned grabbing a scroll with her magic.

"I'm called a draconequus or at least that's what they call me. I'm the only one of my kind...that I know of at least. I can eat anything as far as I know" He answered in a small voice. Celestia huffed but wrote the information down "Why art thou so jumpy?" She asked with a pout.
Discord raised an eyebrow "Thou just said thou art the princess of this colony. Did thou not?" He asked pointing to the castle to the south.

Celestia's face tinted a light pink as she realized her contradicting statements. Discord let out a small laugh floating around the filly. Celestia watched him "How doth thou do that?" She said scrunching up her muzzle in thought.

Discord awed a bit at this unconscious gesture making the alicorn glare defensively.

"What?" She questioned covering herself protectively. Discord shrugged "I don't know" He said quickly flashing her a charming smile. Celestia stared at him not amused by his actions in the presence of royalty.

Discord suddenly leaped up yelling making Celestia yell in turn. "OH NO! Mother said I needed to be back before sunset" He said running off. Celestia held out a hoof "Wait! Thou still hast not told us how dost thou float and we thought thou art the only one of your kind..." She mumbled as she watched the draconequus run into the forest.

When the sun rose the next morning, Luna woke up from her slumber with a displeased face. "Come now Lulu, Tis time for a new day of adventure" Celestia yelled off the cliff attempting to encourage her sister.

Luna looked up at Celestia with half closed eyes and snorted walking back to the tent. Celestia growled grabbing Luna's tail and pulling her. "We can sleep in when we finish this mission for Starswirl" Celestia said puffing up her chest.

Luna grumbled and started walking towards her blue backpack. She began to reluctantly brush all the tangles from her mane. Celestia nuzzled Luna's mane and sighed "I think basking in the moonlight has made your mane even softer than normal" She purred "Thou even smells like moonlight"

Luna jumped back "Tia, Thou art acting creepy" She yelped. Celestia pouted but laughed as she brushed her mane with a brush. Luna let out a small laugh of her own before eating a hay breakfast bar.

After finishing their daily routine, Celestia and Luna packed up their tent and started on the road to a cave in neutral territory. "Hey Tia, Remember when we were practicing targeting our magic" Luna said starting a conversation.

Celestia smiled looking at the sky "Yea... I was a natural at my aim" She said with a prideful smirk. Luna rolled her eyes "I set Starswirl on fire and our guards laughed" She said reminiscing the moment.

Celestia chuckled "Oh yea, I remember he was yelling 'OH DEAR! MY BEARD IS ON FIRE! QUICK! GUIDE ME TO THE WELLS!" She exclaimed running around holding an invisible beard.

Luna let out a small giggle at the memory before walking in front of Celestia. "I have been practicing and I want to show thou some day" She said giving her a smile. Celestia nodded thinking back to the night before.

"Hast thou...Ever heard of a draconequus?" Celestia asked. Luna raised an eyebrow "I can't say that i have?" She admitted slumping her shoulders. Celestia laid a hoove on her shoulder "Don't worry... There is only one in existence from my own personal knowledge" She assured attempting to dispel her sister's self doubt.

Luna nodded with wide curious eyes "Let us know if thou finds more information. This species is facinating to us-" Celestia nudged Luna with her flank making the young filly fall over.

"What was that, Tia" She whined. Celestia stuck her tongue out at her sister "The royal we again, dear sister" She replied. Luna pouted "That wasn't necessary. You know my legs are tiny..." She whined again.

The rest of the day was spent silently walking to their destination. After walking past the same bush for the 3rd time, Luna looked at Celestia "Are we lost, Tia..." She asked. Celestia growled looking at the map "No we are so close, It should be right here" She argued stomping a hoof onto the ground.

Suddenly, loud crackles echoed through the forest as the birds flew away frantically. Luna flew up to a low gliding birds "What's going on?" She asked. The bird responded back with his own series of anxious tweets before flying away.

"Tia!" Luna screamed down to her sister. The alabaster filly looked up "Yes Lun-ROCKSLIDE!!!!" Luna interupted. The young alicorn's ears pinned back as many giant bolders rolled down the mountain side knocking down trees in their wake.
"Tia! Fly!!!" She yelled frantically. Celestia stared frozen as the rocks rolled closer "I-I can't! I'm scared, Lulu..." She whimpered.
Celestia ran as the bolders chased her along the small cliff edge.

Luna moaned facehoofing, She knew Celestia's wings froze up when she was scared but this was a whole new level of terror. "Celestia!" She yelled looking for her sister amongst the dust and bolders.
"Luna! Help I'm scared!!!!" She screamed. Luna flew to where her voice was coming from and giggled at the hilarious sight. Celestia was hanging onto a tree branch that was only about a haunch on the ground.

"Luna!!!!" She exclaimed holding tightly onto the branch. "Get me down from here" She squealed. Luna giggled "I wooooould but..."She trailed off pretending she was deep in thought. Celestia nickered in displeasure as she opened her eyes and looked down.

There was nothing to describe how red her face was at that moment but it didn't stop the series of giggles that broke out between them as Celestia climbed down.

"So Tia...Thou said the mine was right here?" Luna asked looking past the pink maned alicorn. Celestia nodded "According to the map..." She said looking at the aged paper. Luna's eyes twinkled with victory as she observed a newly created cave entrance. "This is it!" She exclaimed fluttering over to the entrance.

"Luna! Wait! It might be a trap... Remember what Starswirl said" Celestia called to her little sister. "Don't worry about it! I'm not scared of anything" Luna boasted.

"Except the dark..." Celestia grumbled fluttering after her.

Celestia's eyes widened as she took in the area. There were plenty of stallions stalking the yard taking them in.

"These little fillies are the messiah, looks like you can snap the small one like a toothpick" one scoffed spitting onto the ground in distaste. Luna huffed flicking her tail "We hardly think thou art one to talk. We have seen better looking things scraped off our hoof shoes" She retorted.

The other stallions cackled at him until Starswirl ran out from the crowd. "Celestia! Luna! I'm glad thou took my offer" He exclaimed happily. Luna rolled her eyes "We have to rule over these deviants" She scoffed "We have seen beasts more obedient"

"Luna!" Celestia said sharply making the elder unicorn chuckle. "She's eager to put them in their place, a good leadership quality" He said wisely. Luna smirked sticking her tongue out at the older mare.

"But!" Starswirl said sharply "Disrespect breeds rebellion in a newly developing country such as this one"

Celestia hummed proudly as the younger alicorn pinned her ears back like a scolded puppy.

The memory slowly rippled as Celestia woke up in the dark caves by a soft whispered. "Princess?" it called. The white filly shot up to bump heads with whoever woke her.

"Buck!" She cried out

"Owww" A familiar voice said at the same time.

Celestia looked up "Sir Discord?" She questioned. The draconequus nodded, his eyes glowing within the dake cave. "Dost thou have any shame! Get off of us, Imbecile!" She screeched throwing her bag at him with her magic.

Discord groaned crawling off of the alicorn. Celestia huffed pushing herself up on her haunches "Unless thou art here to answer our questions, scurry off" She said waving a white hoof eager to return to her slumber .

Discord pouted "Can't I just hang here for a while" He asked. Celestia looked up at the draconequus who was hanging like a bat from the ceiling and gave him a blank stare "No." She said curtly.

Discord smiled "Fine, shoot away then princess" He requested with a British butler accent. Celestia thought for a second "How dost thou float?" She asked curiously. Discord scoffed at the simple question "Magic..." He whispered making sparkles with his mix matched appendages.

Celestia rolled her eyes 'of course'. "What else can thou do" She asked grabbing her scroll. "Well..." He said smiling before breaking into a song "Come with me and thou will be in a world of pure imagination." He sung pulling her out of the cave into a field made of pure chaos "Take a look and thou will see into your imagination"

Celestia looked in awe at the pink clouds above them and the smell of cherry blossoms that wafted around them. There were pepermint tree stumps and gummy butterflies. It was split apart by a brown chocolate river aligned with gumdrops. "How dost thou like it?" He asked. Celestia was still dumbstruck by the pure creativity "It's beautiful..." She sighed.

Discord smirked leading her to the cherry blossom trees. He grabbed a flower from the tree giving it a close expection "The petals match your mane" He said throwing the flower into his mouth. Celestia gagged a bit "Discord!"

The draconequus gave her a sheepish smile looking to the sky which was half day and half night. "They taste like cherries already" He chuckled. Celestia gave him a confused look "But their not ripe" She whispered taking one into her mouth and gagging at the bitter taste.

Discord broke out into a loud bray of laughter as Celestia dry heaved attempting to get the taste off of her mouth. "That was just evil" She groaned. Discord winked "Don't worry, There's more chaos to go around"

Celestia sighed attempting to smother a giggle at his antics.

Celestia followed the floating Draconequus to the large seemingly endless brown river. Discord smiled a bit at her curious wide amethyst eyes that had ruby limbal rings around them.

Celestia gasped and giggled before stifling it with a hoof. Discord raised an eyebrow "What?" He questioned. Celestia shook her head "I'm sorry thou art just so... Charming in thy own way that is" She whispered. Discord smiled "I appreciate the compliment, your highness but we are now upon the Chocolake" He announced diving into the lake. Celestia gasped looking for him "Sir Discord?" She called out looking for any sign of the draconequus.

Suddenly, a tap on the shoulder made the alicorn jumped in fright before falling into the lake herself. Celestia resurfaced gasping for air while dog paddling through the thick liquid.

Meanwhile, Discord was laughing so hard that he couldn't breathe. Celestia threw him a glare before smirking and diving under the chocolate.

When Discord finally sobered from his laughter, Celestia was nowhere to be found. "Umm...Princess?" He called out splashing the chocolate. 'Great job, thou hast drowned a princess. Mother's gonna kill me' he growled mentally feeling a sickening feeling in his stomach as he frantically looked for her.

Suddenly, 2 chocolate covered forelegs wrapped around him pulling him into the lukewarm chocolate. Celestia resurfaced laughing as Discord struggled to land like a frightened cat. Discord shook himself like a dog making a distinct yet humorous flapping noise before glaring daggers at the mare.

Celestia sat in the lake with a crafty smile on her face "Are thou ok, Sir Discord? Thou seemed frightened..." She asked innocently. Discord panted trying to calm him beating heart "Be... Careful... Or... I'm going to give thou the nickname Troll Princess" He wheezed through pants.

Celestia smiled at this but said nothing as she climbed out of the lake and looked at her soiled fur. Discord shook his head when he looked at her before snapping his talon. All the chocolate disappeared without any sticky residue or stains "Thou hast our thanks, Sir Discord" She said in awe once again.

Discord shuffled awkwardly "I still don't know thy name..." He whispered almost mutely. Celestia's face flushed with color "Oh Dear! Forgive our manners, our name is Princess Celestia" She informed him quickly.

"Celestia" He tried out on his tongue then nodded with a smile. "Trollestia!" He declared. Celestia tilted her head "We do not follow..." She stated.

"That's your nickname, Trollestia" He snickered covering her muzzle with his paw. Celestia face grew more red "I'm- WE ART ABOVE SUCH...SPITEFUL NICKNAMES!" She screamed more in embarrassment then anger.

Discord shook her head with a smile "I didn't mean to be mean, Celestia. It was just a joke..." He explained rubbing her back. Celestia looked at him with huge watery adorable eyes "Do... Do not do it again..." She whispered her nose unconsciously twitching like a rabbit.

Discord smiled and nodded "Come on and we can grab a fishing pole and catch Swedish Fish" He exclaimed happily. Celestia looked horrified "There was fish in that chocolate!?" She squealed looking to the lake in disbelief. Discord nodded "Candy fish" He said nonchalantly poofing up two poles to use.

Celestia turned the pole in different angles attempting to figure out such a strange devices. "Discord? We require thy assistance" She requested politely. Discord smiled "First thou needs a gummy worm" He explained poofing up the item in question. He empaled the wriggling organism onto the hoof looping twice it twice for good measure.

Celestia watched in fascination like the draconequus was a god. Discord chuckled and gave Celestia the pole. Discord grabbed his own and repeated the process "Next thou casts it out like this..." He said swinging his rope like a pro into the lake.

Celestia smiled 'Seems easy enough...' She thought before copying the draconequus's actions. The rope didn't extend as she wanted it to and fell limply onto the ground with the poor worm. Discord chuckled "I forgot to extend it" He giggled sheepishly before extending her rope a bit.

"Ok..." He said standing back "Try again!"
Celestia looked at him with a doubtful expression before attempting again to swing the pole like the draconequus. The hook went higher than expected going into a tree entangling itself with the branches. Celestia looked at him with a helpless expression "I'm not good at this..." She whimpered a bit.

Discord floated up to the tree untangling the hoof "Try once more" He encouraged. Celestia sighed and nodded "Ok..." She she said gripping the pole tightly. Discord rested his arms around hers "Relax... Don't try and be professional" He explained. Celestia took a deep breath in filling her lungs with fresh candy scent air before taking a relaxing exhale from her mouth. Her eyes were determined as she readied her hooves to swing.

She stepped forward and swung downwards.

The most unexpected thing happened...

"OH MY GOD, CELESTIA! I KNOW THOU ART A PRINCESS BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!" He exclaimed as Celestia stared frozen. "I'm sorry I got too relaxed" She defended looking at the lake where the pole disappeared. "So relaxed that thou hast thrown the pole into the lake... Good Job" He said clapping

Celestia's face grew hotter and more flushed as she looked at the lake. "Can we do something else..." She begged. Discord nodded "You owe me a pole..." He whispered under his breath as he walked her to her next location.
