Chapter 1
It's a beautiful day in Canterlot, everything seemed pretty normal. That is if ya count all of the Changling drones flying 'round the castle now a days as "normal." But hey I'm not complaining much, they are on our side now, once that new Queen of ours got 'er bearings straight, they've been mighty helpful. I've even got ta meet her myself once,she's quite the sweetheart, a little shy at first but hey nopony's perfect, I'm just a little surprised that said queen happened to be the Element o' Kindness herself, I mean I didn't really hear how she became Queen but at least she's doin' a good job. -random stallon.
*Twilight's home*
Twilight Sparkle was currently sleeping in her room until...
"Noooooo!" Twilight says as she wakes up from her nightmare.
"Wha? Was it just a dream? That was so weird." she says to herself.
"Hey Twilight,what's with the noise? I'm trying to sleep." Spike said.
"Sorry Spike it was a bad dream..." Twilight said.
"Oh no, what was it about?" Spike said, concern in his tone.
"It was of Fluttershy for some reason, she was in the throne room of Canterlot's castle and she was a Queen, it was so strange..." Twilight said.
"Huh, well we were at the Castle yesterday when Fluttershy invited to that tea party of hers." Spike said.
"So it wasn't a dream then, Fluttershy actually is the Queen of all Equestra now...,Oh no I forgot! I have to go and apologize to Fluttershy for getting her drunk." Twilight said.
Spike suddenly burps out a scroll that had Fluttershy's cutie mark as the royal seal instead of it being Celestia's own.
("What's this?") Twilight thought to herself as she picked up the scroll with magic and started reading it.
"Dear Twilight can you come over for a minute or two, please? It be nice to see you again. I mean if your not busy that is... Your friend,Queen Fluttershy."
Twilight looked at the message a second time and then picked up Spike with her magic.
"Whoa, hey where are we going Twilight?" he asked, however he didn't get his answer because Twilight had teleported them straight to the castle in Canterlot.
When they arrived they were greeted by a few guards,one of them was a Changeling while the other was a Unicorn.
"Ah Princess Twilight, we've been expecting you, follow us please her highness is waiting. " the Changeling guard said.
The unicorn guard said nothing and motions for Twilight and Spike to follow them in which the two do.
When they went into the throne room they saw that Fluttershy was currently being fanned by one Changeling while another fed her grapes.
She simply lifts a hoof and the two Changelings leave.
"Thank you for bringing Twilight to me, you may go now. " Fluttershy said.
"Understood your highness! " both guards say before leaving the room.
"Hello Twilight, how are you today? " Fluttershy asked.
"I'm fine, how are you? " Twilight said.
"I'm doing fine, I had the Changelings move some of my animal friends up here so I would more comfortable here. " Fluttershy said.
"That's good, look Fluttershy I want to apologize for getting you drunk a few days ago and I-" Twilight was cut off before another word could be said.
"No need to apologize Twilight, I already forgive you, besides something good came out of your mistake, the Changelings and Chrysalis work for me now and everypony else is starting to act much nicer now, I even let Celestia and Luna help me from time to time. " Fluttershy said.
"*sighs * I guess but I still wish I didn't, I never even believed anything like this would happen and here we are." Twilight said.
"Don't go beating yourself up Twilight, look at all the good my Queen has done for you ponies, you should be happy for her. " Chrysalis says as she walks in.
"Oh hello Chryssi, did you find "him" yet? "Fluttershy said.
"No my Queen, Discord is not that easy to find. " The former Changeling Queen said.
Fluttershy suddenly stomped her hoof in frustration and then said, " Ugh,then try harder he can't be far!"
"Yes my queen, I'll get a search party going as soon as I can. " Chrysalis said.
"Good, you may go. " Fluttershy said.
"Of course my Queen, forgive my intrusion earlier. " Chrysalis says before leaving.
"Sorry about that Twilight, Discord had pranked Luna again and now I have to find him so he can turn her back to normal, I guess he's not happy with being a mere janitor now. " Fluttershy says before giggling.
Spike finally got over his dizziness and saw Fluttershy who was now in front of Twilight and was talking with her.
"hey uh, not to be rude and all but I'm right here... " Spike said.
"Oh my goodness! Spike, I didn't even see you there, how are you? " Fluttershy said.
" I'm fine thanks for asking. " Spike said.
" Oh! Twilight before you go, I wanted to tell you that it wasn't your fault for what happened on that day, it's in the past now." Fluttershy said.
"Wow I, I don't know what to say, thanks Fluttershy." Twilight said.
" Celestia can you come here please? " Fluttershy says.
"Y-yes mistress? " Celestia said, fear evident in her tone.
" Please don't call me that..., Anyways can you please return Twilight home for me please, that's all you need to do,ok? " Fluttershy said.
"T-that's all?, N-nothing else?,Right then come Twilight let's go. " Celestia said.
"Good bye Fluttershy I'll come visit you whenever I can if you need any help, being royalty is harder than it looks. " Twilight said.
"Don't worry Twilight, Celestia and Luna usually help me with that but your welcome to visit whenever you want if would to talk or would like another tea party. " Fluttershy said.
"Wait do the others know about this? " Twilight asked.
" Yes, Rarity was the most shocked out of all of our friends when I told them what happened. " Fluttershy said.
"How did they react?" Twilight said.
"Well..." Fluttershy says as she returns to sit on her throne.
*Flashback*
Well it happened after you left yesterday, one of my Changeling guardsponys came into the throne room.
"My Queen, we've brought your friends, they didn't seem pretty happy to see us." I remember it saying.
"Thank you, bring them in." I had told them.
"Of course my Queen." I heard it say before it left to retrive the rest of our friends.
When it came back I noticed that it was brused in a few places and was limping back with my friends in tow.
"Fluttershy! We came as quick as we could, did these "bugs" hurt you?" I heard Rainbow Dash say.
"No, not really." I said.
"What!? Ah thought these dang varmints went an' foalnapped ya!" I heard Applejack say next.
"Yeah! These guys are nothing but big meanies!" Pinkie Pie said after Applejack's statement.
"Well no, I'm not in any real danger, Besides I'm their Queen, they're loyal to me now." I told them.
"What!?" Was what Rarity and Rainbow said at the same time.
"It um..., happened last night so I don't really remember what had transpired, but now I am the sole ruler of Equestra, The Crystal Empire and The Changelings." I explained.
"So that's means..." Rainbow says before a wide grin appeared on her face "Hah Hah! Suck it Hoops,I'm friends with a Queen!"
I simply giggled at Rainbow's reaction, she seemed to be the most excited for me.
I noticed that Rarity was standing there with her jaw dropped, Applejack was giving me an apologetic look , Rainbow was flying around the room and Pinkie was sitting still with wide eyes.
"Oh my, did I say something wrong?" I had said.
To my surprise Rarity had spoke first.
"N-no Fluttershy , nothing's wrong... *eye twitch* n-nothing's wrong at all *nervous giggle*."
"It's okay Rarity you can tell me." I said to her.
"Oh fine! It's just that your, your living the dream right now!" Rarity says before pulling up her faiting couch from our of nowhere and promptly fainting on it.
"Don' be such a drama queen Rare, Ah think having Fluttershy in charge is good thing, though seeing them Changelings every time we come 'ere is gonna take some time ta get used to." Applejack said.
"Hey, we should throw a " Yay! Fluttershy's Queen of Equestra Party!" Pinkie said.
"I think that would be lovely, but can you put it for later in the week, I still need to get to being a Queen myself." I had told them.
"Okay!" Pinkie says as she bounces in place.
*end Flashback*
"That's all I could remember Twilight, I really think you should go now, I don't want to keep you here any longer." Fluttershy said.
"Ok, come on Spike let's go home." Twilight said to her assistant who had already clambered on to her back and fell asleep.
"Celestia, will do the honors?" Fluttershy says to the former Princess.
"As you wish your highness." Celestia says before teleporting herself and Twilight to Ponyville.
"*sigh* do you think that Twilight will come back to visit me again?" Fluttershy asks a rather feminine looking Changeling that went up to her to massage her hoof.
"She your friend is she not? I'm sure she'll come by every now and then." the Changeling said with a rather familiar tone in it's voice.
"Thank you Luna, lets hope Chrysalis and her search party find Discord so he can turn you back to normal." Fluttershy said.
"I hope so too..."the "Luna"ling said.
