Pinkie Pie smiled brightly as she bounced down the halls in Canterlot High. As she passed other students she would say a quick greeting before bounding off again. However she was searching for one person.
Her crush Twilight Sparkle. They've been best friends since middle school and since then Pinkie's developed a huge crush on Twilight. Ever since then she's been trying to get the courage to ask her out.
And today's the day! She'll finally ask Twilight out on a date. And then they'll finally be more then friends. She had already told her other friends about her huge crush on Twilight and had asked for their help in asking her out.
They had all agreed saying that her and Twilight would be perfect together. So now all she had to do was find Twilight and take her out to the field where the other's are waiting. Nothing could go wrong.
As Pinkie rounded the corner she gasped excitedly when she saw Twilight leaving the library. She began to walk towards her coolly to try and not look nervous, when she saw it.
Twilight had bumped into Flash Sentry, knocking her books all over the floor. He had apologized and picked them up for her while she blushed madly. After giving her, her books he had asked if she wanted to go out later. She then gladly said that she would see him at 7:00.
As Flash left Pinkie felt her heart shatter. Her hair immediately deflated and tears welled up in her eyes. She watched as Twilight squealed and danced around before spotting her.
Twilight rushed over excitedly. "OMC, Pinkie!" She squealed. "Flash finally asked me out! I can't believe this! Oh my celestia. This is really happening!"
She then began to rant about what they would do and what she would wear as Pinkie sunk farther and farther into sadness.
"Aren't you excited Pinkie?" Twilight asked happily.
Pinkie's head snapped up as Twilight said that. She just wanted to scream no, but as she saw the happiness on Twilight's face she put on a fake smile.
"Of course I am Twiley! You finally got a date with Flash..." She trailed off as tears threatened to spill from her eyes.
Twilight didn't even notice though as she grabbed Pinkie's hand and began to drag her to find their friends. ______________________________________
Pinkie just kept poking at the food on her plate during lunch. She just kept making frowny faces with her food. All of her friends had noticed her sudden change in mood and worried for their friend.
As they ate Twilight had filled all of their friends in about what had happened with Flash, the whole time Rainbow Dash glared at her while Applejack just ignored her. Rarity had just made super sarcastic remarks the whole time. Fluttershy was just quiet.
"But yeah, I'm super psyched." Twilight said finishing her rant.
All the girls were mad at her so they didn't even say anything.
"Oh hey Pinkie!" Twilight called to the upset teen.
She looked up with a super fake smile. "Yeah Twilight?"
Twilight cocked her head to the side. "Are you feeling okay? You would have usually been done with your food by now." She said worriedly.
Pinkie looked down at her plate and sighed. She looked back up at Twilight and smiled slightly.
"Just not really hungry Twi." Twilight furrowed her brow before leaning closer to Pinkie and putting her hand to her forehead.
Pinkie's eyes widened and a large blush spread across her cheeks. All the girls watching in curiosity and worry. Twilight then moved her hands to her cheek.
"You don't seem too warm. But maybe you should go home and get better." She said smiling softly at Pinkie.
Pinkie had suddenly gotten an idea. "Your right Twi. I'm not feeling so well. But my folks are outta town so I'll be all alone." She said sadly while shooting the others a quick smile.
Twilight immediately jumped into action. "What?! You can't stay alone! What if you get so sick that you can't even get out of bed to get a drink? Or use the bathroom?" Twilight asked while fussing over Pinkie.
"I'm sure I'll be fine Twiley. Don't worry about me besides you have your date tonight." She said pretending to get up.
"You're right." She trailed off.
Pinkie sighed knowing that Twilight would probably go to Flash. Why was she so stupid? Of course Twilight would never fall for someone like her.
She should just- "Well, I'm sure he'll understand." Pinkie's head snapped up and she looked at Twilight in shock.
"What? Really?!" Pinkie asked with a gasp.
"Why of course! Your health matters more than anything else does." Twilight said matter of factly.
Pinkie smiled feeling tears in her eyes. Maybe she had a chance after all. ______________________________________
After going to their lockers the girls headed to Twilight's car. After getting in and heading towards Pinkie's house Twilight turned on the radio. The song 'Shape of You' by Ed Sheeran came on.
Pinkie loved this song and so did Twilight secretly. They both sang along to the song while Twilight drove. Pinkie smiled at Twilight as she sang horribly off tune. She giggled as Twilight almost ran over a trash can. Not to long later they pulled into the driveway at Pinkie's house, 'The Pie Residence'.
After locking her car, Twilight took Pinkie by the hand into the empty home. Twilight led Pinkie upstairs to her room. Opening her door Pinkie and Twilight went into her room. Pinkie could feel her heart pounding fast in her chest.
Her palms were super sweaty too. She gulped and turned towards Twilight only to find her fixing Pinkie's bed.
"Just making sure that your bed is comfy enough for you." Says Twilight as she fluffs up the pillows.
Twilight then looked over and smiled kindly at Pinkie. Pinkie felt her face grow hot.
"Why don't you lie down well I go fetch a movie and some soup for you." Twilight says walking towards the door.
Pinkie only nodded as her face heated up more. As soon as Twilight was downstairs Pinkie felt her dams break. She sat on the bed and sobbed her heart out.
"I'm so selfish! I should have just let Twilight go on her date with Flash!" Pinkie hiccups before continuing.
"I don't deserve her! She just so kind and funny and generous. And she looks like one of the gods herself. She's like a goddess princess and I'm lowly begger girl!" Pinkie sobs some more before speaking again,"I don't deserve her love! I'm a worthless piece of garbage! She never love me!"
Pinkie then continued to sob until she heard the door to her room creak open to reveal Twilight with a stack of movies and a bowl of soup.
Pinkie's eyes widened at Twilight's sudden arrival. Twilight gave Pinkie a hard stare before setting down the soup and movies on her desk. She turned and stared at Pinkie angrily. Pinkie felt her heart drop.
She had heard her, and she probably hates her now. She was about say something but Twilight had already opened her mouth and begun talking.
"Pinkie, how could you..." Pinkie's stomach began to knot as she knew what Twilight was going to say.
"Say such horrible things about yourself!" Pinkie's head snapped up in confusion.
"What?" Pinkie said with a confused look on her face.
Twilight growled and grabbed Pinkie by the shoulders and slammed her face right into her own, and kissed Pinkie. Pinkie eyes were wide open as Twilight kissed Pinkie with so much passion. Pinkie felt fireworks go off all over the place.
And as if her heart had drunken an energy drink it started to hammer in her chest like crazy.
Twilight then pulled away with a huge blush across her cheeks rivaling the one on Pinkie's own.
Twilight then growled before speaking, "Pinkie Pie, you are the most amazing person I know! You so funny and loving and you always do everything in your power just to make everyone else happy no matter what. I've had a crush on for so long now but I just haven't been able to ask you out. But hearing you so those about yourself made me so angry that I just couldn't hold back anymore. I love you Pinkie." Twilight said on the verge of tears.
Pinkie felt her a smile frowning on her face. "You really mean it?" She asked with happy tears pouring down her cheeks.
"Why would I lie?" Twilight's says wiping away Pinkie's tears gently.
"But, I-I thought you liked Flash!" Pinkie says as more tears spill down her face. Twilight cocked her head to the side for a second and then began to laugh.
"Oh, Pinkie Pie, whatever gave you that idea?" Asks Twilight as she continues to giggle.
"But, you were so excited when he asked if you wanted to go out later!" Pinkie accuses.
Twilight only shakes her head and laughs some more before talking again.
"Pinkie, that's because we were going to the library to work on our assignment. Plus I was gonna ask him for a few pointers on picking up cute girls." Twilight said with a wink.
"But you were so happy he finally asked you out." Pinkie says confusedly.
Twilight rolls her eyes once before explaining. "That's because he's been pushing off our project sessions for 2 weeks! I was so happy that we were finally gonna work on it together, but then I saw how you weren't feeling well and became seriously worried for you so I decided to blow him off." She says with a devious smile.
Pinkie thought over everything for a good minute or two before a big smile grew on her face.
"You actually like me back!" Pinkie says happily. Twilight gave out a huge laugh and nodded.
"Yeah I do. I love you so much." Twilight says moving some of the stray hairs off of Pinkie's face.
Pinkie smiled at Twilight. Then a thought crossed her mind that made her smile even bigger.
"Well, I was gonna ask you earlier but better late then never." Pinkie says to a very confused Twilight.
"Huh?" Asks a puzzled Twilight.
Pinkie texts someone on her phone real quick before beaming up at Twilight.
"Can I show you something?" Asks Pinkie.
"Um, okay. Sure." Says Twilight uncertain.
Pinkie only smiles widely while running out of the house with Twilight.
"This is gonna be great!" Screams Pinkie as they leave the house. Twilight has a look of confusion on her face.
"Why?" Asks Twilight as they drive like maniacs to Pinkie's mysterious location. ______________________________________
"Are we there yet?" Asks Twilight impatiently as Pinkie leads her to her surprise while covering her eyes. Pinkie laughs out loud.
"Geez whaleesh, Twilight! You more impatient than me!" They both giggle some before they suddenly stop.
Twilight raises and eyebrow expectantly. "Can I see now Pinkie?" She asks pleadingly.
Pinkie giggled some before moving her hands. Twilight then opened her eyes and gasped.
In front of her was her and Pinkie's friends holding up a banner that read, "Twilight Sparkle will you go out with me?" Twilight felt tears in her eyes.
Pinkie then walked up beside the others and smiled shyly at Twilight.
"Well?" She asked hopefully.
Twilight grinned and ran at Pinkie. She picked her up and spun her around. "Yes! Yes! A million times yes!" She yelled as she hugged Pinkie tightly. Pinkie then hugged back just as tight.
All the other girls cheered. Pinkie looked at Twilight with a big goofy smile on her face.
"I love you too." She said before kissing Twilight again.
"Can you two get a room?" Called out Rainbow Dash. This caused everyone to laugh.
"And to think that you were the one who asked me." Says Twilight as she, Pinkie, and the girls head back to her place for a sleepover.
Pinkie only giggled, "It wasn't that hard. I mean really. It's just a question." Pinkie says with a wide smile.
Everyone laughs again. "They really make a cute couple huh?" Applejack says to Rarity when they get in the car.
"Yeah they do." She says before they all drive off into the distance.
Pinkie hummed happily as she strolled through her and Twilight's apartment. Today was a very special day. Valentine's day! And she was hoping to hang out with Twilight all day long. As she rounded the corner into the kitchen she saw Twilight making waffles.
"Hey Twiley!" Pinkie called out.
Twilight spun around to see her girlfriend in a cute oversized dark pink sweater and jean shorts. She grinned before walking over to her and bringing her in for a sweet kiss. After a couple of second they parted.
"And what are you doing right now my sweet cupcake?" She asked while weaving her fingers through Pinkie's poofy hair.
"Nothing much." Pinkie stated. "Just looking for you." She said smiling at Twilight.
Twilight just grinned and picked her up. She walked over to the island and set Pinkie down. Pinkie giggled as Twilight kissed her cheek before checking on the waffles.
"Gosh, you act like an 8 year old sometimes." Says Twilight rolling her eyes playfully.
Pinkie only laughed harder. She looked up at Twilight and stuck her tongue out playfully.
"Though I'm a cute 8 year old right?" Pinkie asks with a wiggle of her eyebrows and an evil smirk.
"Geez Pinkie don't make things weird." Twilight says pointing a finger at Pinkie's nose.
Pinkie tries to bite it causing Twilight to pull it back and glare at her. Pinkie only laughs more. Twilight rolls her eyes again. She then serves the crunchy waffles for her and Pinkie.
"Ooh! Man these look amazing! Ah, they taste good too." She says eating the waffle slowly.
Twilight only chuckles and looks at Pinkie with an amused grin. "Then why don't ya marry them?" Days a country voice.
Twilight turns to the doorway to see Applejack and the others. Pinkie gasps happily. "Oh my celestia! I totally should!" Pinkie says while stuffing her moth more.
Twilight huffs and forcefully stabs her own waffles. "Now I have to compete with waffles?! Candy was hard enough." Twilight mutters angrily.
Everyone laughs before entering the kitchen. Rainbow Dash sits down at the table before snatching Twilight's waffles away from her. She looks horrified at Twilight before snatching the fork and knife away from her.
"You're supposed to eat them. Not destroy them!" She says while biting a piece. She then looks down at them before whispering, "Don't worry she can't hurt you anymore." Before eating another piece.
Everyone only laughs while Twilight huffs. She gets up and washes her hands angrily. Pinkie comes up behind Twilight and wraps her arms around her waist. Twilight sighs and turns before giving Pinkie a big kiss. She heard giggles and gagging noises around them.
"Can you two get a room?" They heard Applejack call.
"This is our apartment!" Twilight calls back causing everyone to laugh.
"So darlings, what are you all doing for Valentine's day." Rarity asks with a knowing smile.
"Well, me and Rainbow Dash are going to go see a movie and have dinner afterwards." Says Fluttershy with a smile.
Rainbow Dash smiled nodded her head up and down. "Yeah it's gonna be great. Just me and Flutters." She said before giving Fluttershy a peck on the cheek.
"Me and Rarity are going out on a picnic and a walk through the park." Applejack said with a smile as she held Rarity's hand.
"Though I still don't know what to wear." Rarity said with a sigh. Applejack just chuckled and shook her head.
"I'll help you pick out an outfit." Twilight said.
They all looked at her in curiosity. Especially Pinkie. Pinkie actually was a bit sad. She had wanted to spend the whole day with Twilight. But she can't be selfish, she has to share Twilight.
"If you insist darling." Rarity says.
Twilight smiled and looked at the clock. "Well, we best be heading out." She smiled again and kissed Pinkie on the cheek before leading the girls out.
"Bye." Pinkie says with a sad sigh. ______________________________________ Pinkie groaned annoyed. She was looking for something interesting to watch. Twilight still wasn't back yet. Pinkie was beginning to worry. She had not heard from Twilight at all.
Suddenly her phone began to ring. She answered it quickly. "Chello." She said coolly.
Then she heard a frantic voice on the other side. "Pinkie Pie?! Is that ya?" It was Applejack.
Pinkie felt her heart go crazy with nervousness and fright. "AJ? What's wrong?" Pinkie asked somewhat reluctantly.
She heard a heavy sigh and whimper come from the speaker. "It's Twilight. There's been an accident." And just like that Pinkie's world came crashing down with that single sentence.
The only noise that could be heard in Canterlot Hospital was quiet chatter, hums of machines and rapid footsteps. People turned their heads towards the sound to see a frantic Pinkie Pie running right past them to the check in center.
Reaching the main desk she quickly rang the bell multiple times to get the nurse's attention. She turned towards Pinkie Pie.
"Yes?" She asked tiredly.
"Uh, hi there. I'm looking for Twilight Sparkle's room?"She said hurriedly.
After saying this the ladies face immediately lit up. "Right down the hall and to your left. It's gonna be the first door on your right." She said with a giant grin.
Pinkie nodded her head and quickly sprinted down the hall. Turning the corner she ran straight into the room. Once inside she stopped in the doorway. There laying in the hospital bed was Twilight hooked up to a breathing machine, heart monitor, and a bunch of other machines Pinkie didn't recognize.
She looked around the room to see all of her friends, Twilight's parents, Shining Armor and Cadence. Spike was sitting over in the corner next to her bed with his arms wrapped around his legs. She then knew right then and there that this was really happening.
Upon her entrance Applejack had come over and embraced Pinkie in a hug.
"Ah'm so glad you're here." She said in a shaky voice. Pinkie only hugged back feeling tears beginning to run down her cheeks.
"W-what happened?" Pinkie asked almost choking on her sobs.
Rarity had walked up and put a hand on Applejack's shoulder. Applejack looked at her before sighing and looking back at Pinkie.
"Me, Twi, and Rares were on our way back to me and Rares place to pick out her outfit when some guy tried to mug us." Applejack said.
"He had a gun. He had taken both me and Rarity's jewelry and wallets. Then he went to take the necklace that you had gotten Twilight for her birthday." Applejack said while sniffling.
"She then started to fight him when he tried to take it by force. Then he shot her." Applejack said with a upset voice.
"The dude then panicked and ran away. Rarity dialed 911 and I checked on Twilight. He had shot her right in the stomach." Applejack said finishing the story.
"OMC. Is she gonna be alright?" Pinkie asked worriedly about to burst into tears again. Applejack only sighed and shook her head.
"She's not looking too good Pinks." She said.
Suddenly the door opened to reveal the doctor. He smiled softly before entering the room. He looked down at his clipboard before looking around the room. He sighed once before taking his glasses off.
"Well, I hate to say this but the results are not looking too great." He said with a upset face.
"Will she make it doctor?" Cadence asks as Shining wrapped a comforting arm around her.
He only sighed again before shaking his head. "I'm afraid not. There is just too much internal bleeding." He said while walking over to the machines to check everything.
He then began to unplug stuff. He then looked straight at Pinkie. "She doesn't have very long left. We did everything we could. I suggest you say your goodbyes now." He then turned and left the room.
Everyone began to burst into tears. Pinkie felt her heart heart shatter into a million pieces. This couldn't be happening. All her dreams of her and Twilight being together crushed.
One by one everyone went up to Twilight and said their goodbyes. Then it was Pinkie's turn. Everyone just watched quietly as Pinkie walked up to the bed.
"Twily?" She said softly. Hoping for a response. When she got none she sighed and sat down next to her.
"Oh Twilight. You don't even understand how sad I am. Here I was dreaming of having a life together with you. Getting married and having kids. I was looking forward to waking up to seeing your beautiful face every morning and growing old with you. Then you go and get yourself shot." Pinkie says while sobbing.
"You were always so brave and courageous. My knight in shining armor, always willing to give up everything for me." Pinkie says while smiling softly.
"Remeber how scared you were in 7th grade when I was gonna jump off your parent's roof into the pool and you began to freak out?" Pinkie asks with a big dumb smile on her face.
She then sighs as she remembers the situation. She looks back at Twilight. "Well, I'm rambling again. Anyways I just wanted to tell you one thing." Pinkie says trying not to break into tears again.
She looked around the room at everyone quickly before leaning over Twilight and giving her one last kiss.
"I love you." Pinkie Pie whispered hoarsely as she turned to leave.
Only to be stopped by hand grabbing her wrist.
"Pinkie?" Twilight whispered to her.
"Yes Twilight?!" Pinkie asked happy Twilight was still breathing.
"I have one last request." She said with a cough and sad look in her eyes.
"Yes my love?" Pinkie asked soothingly while brushing Twilight's hair out of her face.
"Will you marry me?" She said while moving her hand to reveal a small velvet box.
Pinkie felt tears well up in her eyes as she opened it. There in the box was the the most amazing ring she had ever laid eyes on. It was a gold band with several small diamonds adorning it in the shape of cupcakes.
Pinkie couldn't hold back anymore she cried and cried. "Yes Twilight. I would love to marry you!" She sobbed knowing she would never get to.
Next thing she knew Twilight sat up without any hesitation and pulled Pinkie into a long, wonderful kiss. When they pulled apart Pinkie began laughing and smiling like crazy.
"Twilight you're okay! I can't believe it!" Pinkie said engulfing Twilight in a hug.
"Yeah. About that I was never actually dying." She said sheepishly while rubbing the back of her neck.
"What?!" Pinkie screamed causing Twilight to flinch.
"Yeah. It was all apart of my plan to propose to you. I faked it so I could ask you." She said while standing up.
Pinkie growled before getting in Twilight's face. "You are so sleeping on the couch tonight!" Pinkie said before storming off.
"What but why?" Twilight asked chasing after her.
Everyone only laughed and cheered. This really was one special Valentine's Day.
Pinkie sighed contentedly as she and Twilight watched a romantic comedy together. She sneakily stole a glance at Twilight to see what she was doing and she saw Twilight gaze completely fixated on her. Pinkie blushed and turned fully to see why Twilight was looking at her that way.
"Uh, not that I mind it, but why are you just staring at me?" Pinkie asked.
Twilight just chuckled. "I'm sorry, but I just can't help but admire your beauty. I still don't know how I managed to land such a beautiful woman."
At Twilight's statement Pinkie's blush deepened to the shade of an apple. She then leaned over and gave Twilight a loving peck on the lips, causing Twilight to blush herself. Pinkie only giggled and kissed Twilight deeper, pushing her lips onto Twilight's roughly.
Twilight then moved forward and grabbed Pinkie pushing her down on the couch quickly but carefully, trying not to injure her fiance. Pinkie only let out a squel against Twilight's loving embrace. Pulling away from Pinkie panting, Twilight begins to kiss down Pinkie's neck before biting on a spot between her collarbone anf shoulder.
"Oh Twi..." Pinkie calls out in a breathy moan of satisfaction.
Upon hearing her name Twilight grins against Pinkie's flesh and continues her assault before both hear the click of the dorr opening.
"Okay girls! Who's ready for the greatest bachelorette party ever..." Rainbow Dash begins as she storms into Pinkie and Twilight's apartment with bags of party supplies and junk food.
Rainbow Dash completely trails off though as she she's the position her best friend's are in. All three then exchange awkward glances with heated blushes before the rest of the friend's barge through the door.
At this Pinkie and Twilight quickly separate and Rainbow Dash finds an interesting spot on the ceiling. The rest of the girl's enter laughing about something totally unaware of what had just occured before they arrived.
"...and then Big Mac never slept without a nightlight again." Applejack says as she walks in with pizza and drinks while laughing with the other girls.
"Oh my. That story was quite scary. I don't know if I could've been half as brave as Big Mac. Roosters can be quite mean if you don't give them a bubble bath every day." Fluttershy says quietly while lugging in the gifts with Rarity.
"Oh darling I have never laughed so hard before. I do hope that Big Mac can recover from such a traumtising experiance." Rarity replies still wiping tears from her eyes.
The girls set down their loads and set their sights on the two lovebirs sitting side by side with each other on the couch. Both still with a faint blush from being caught by Rainbow Dash earlier. Their friends didn't notice however as they all quickly situated themselves around the engaged couple before they all began talking at once. ----------------------------------------------------------- Six and a half hours later all the girls are passed out except Twilight and Rainbow Dash who were finishing the movie they had all began two hours ago. Empty junk food wrappers and pizza boxes were strewn about carelessy in about the room. Both girls were sitting side by side, munching on the same popcorn.
Roughly ten minutes later the movie ended and the credits were rolling. Twilight and Rainbow Dash stretched and got up. Twilight quickly began to pick up and Rainbow Dash excused herself to the bathroom. About fifteen minutes later Teilight began to get worried, what was taking dash so long?
Quick to worry, Twilight started towards the bathroom before stopping upon hearing a strange sound. Was that crying? Looking back in the living room she saw that all the girl's were still passed out. Was Rainbow Dash crying?
Treading carefully, Twilight tiptoed around the corner and peeked her head into the bathroom to see Rainbow Dash against the wall next to the toliet sobbing her eyes out. Instantly Twilight entered the bathroom causing Dash to look up at her with puffy eyes.
Sniffling Rainbow Dash sighed deeply before speaking in a scrarchy voice. "Can I tell you something Twi?" Looking up at Twilight she pleaded with her with red, teary eyes.
Nodding, Twilight responding in a caring tone. "Anything Dash, what's on your mind?"
With another deep tearful sigh she looked Twilight dead in the eyes. "I'm pregnant." She says quietly. But thankfully Twilight heard her, she just didn't believe her immediately.
After a few seconds Twilight's brain quickly realized the situation. With widened eyes she pondered the though deeply. Wasn't Dash and Flutters dating currently? Did they break up? How in the world had this happened to poor Dash?
Finally choosing carefully which question to ask, Twilight looked at Dash with sincere eyes. "How did this happen Rainbow?" She asked slowly and gently so not to pressure Dash.
Gulping down fresh tears Dash launched inot her story. "I was hanging with my fellow Wonderbolts at a club after a long day at work, when we all got drunk. Thunderlane offered to drive me home so I accepted trustingly. When we get to the car he comes unto me even though a tell him I'm with Fluttershy. And then he..." Pausing for a second Rainbow Dash looks at me with teary eyes full of dread and fear.
Twilight gasps and immediately pulls Dash in close for a hug, which causes Rainbow Dash to begin sobbing again. She gently runs her hand up and down Rainbow Dash's heaving back.
"I'm so sorry Dash. I had no idea. Why didn't you tell me sooner? We need to take Thunderlane to court. He needs to pay for his actions." Twilight says soothingly.
With a hiccup, Rainbow Dash begins to talk again between sobs. "I-I just need t-t-to tell F-Fluttershy, and I-I'm scared." Rainbow cries out into my shoulder.
For about another twenty minutes they just sit there on the bathroom floor, Twilight with her arms wrapped around a sobbing Rainbow Dash. Twilight just let's her cry, she does her best to comfort her before she feels Rainbow slowly stop sobbing. Looking down she sees Rainbow Dash fast asleep with tear-stained cheeks and a peaceful look.
Twilight sighs heavily. Looking down the hall into the living room she sees all her friends sleeping peacefully including her fiance who was currently drooling on their throwpillows. Looking back down on Dash she thinks of the only option she has at this point. Scooping Rainbow Dash up into her arms, she carries her limp body into their guest room where she then lies her friend under the plush covers and wipes the tears from her cheeks.
Walking out of the room she look back at her best friend sleeping peacefully in the bed. With a stone-like expression Twilight goes to her office, she has some calls to make.
In the early hours of the morning the sun had only just started to peek over the horizon. In a more expensive area in Crystal City on Amore Lane everything was peaceful. Except for one house.
At the very end of the street sat a big house about the size of a small mansion. The Sparkle residence, and inside one could hear a phone ringing for the seventh time within a span of five minutes. Upstairs at the end of the hall rustling and groans could be heard coming from inside the master bedroom.
About half a minute late a tall well built man with pale skin and several varying colors of blue hair peeked his head out of the room as if listening for something. When the phone downstairs ran again the man let out a long annoyed sigh before fully stepping out of the room to reveal a shirtless chest and boxers with little shields on them.
Grumbling he began downstairs. Once reaching the living room he looked murderous. "I swear if this is work calling I will have them on latrine duty for the rest of the month!" He whispered to himself threateningly.
Picking up the phone he answered with a gruff hello. A few seconds later he heard the familiar voice of his younger sister. Immediately after that his deamoner changed from furious to calm and loving.
"Shiny? Is that you? I know it's really early in the morning but I was wondering if you'd be able to help me with a situation over here." He heard Twilight say.
"Heh, it's no problem, I was getting up soon anyways. Now what's the situation Twily? It must be important for you to call so early." He responded kindly.
He heard a sigh on the other line before he heard movement. Half a minute later Twilight returned to the phone and explained the problem to her big brother. Quietly he listened intently and as his sister explained he could feel himself waking up more and becoming more alert. About an hour later Twilight finished explaining everything.
For a few minutes she heard nothing and worried that Shining Armour fell asleep before she heard a low sigh and growl escape her brother.
"Okay, first off when I get my hand on that son of a horse I will wring his little neck. Secondly me and Cadence will reserve a plane and be there in a few hours. Until then I want you to get some sleep, knowing you you haven't slept a wink and have been busy worrying for Rainbow Dash and have been doing everything in your power to help." Shining Armour said slowly and worriedly.
In response he heard a sigh before Twilight agreed and thanked him before saying goodbye and hanging up. After a few minutes Shining Armour called into work to explain. He then went upstairs to explain to his wife. No matter what he was going to do everything in his power to help Twilight and Rainbow Dash. Thunderlane was going to pay.
