It was a lovely summer day at Twilight's Castle and Moonbeam was with Starlight Glimmer to test a theory that they had come up with months ago.

"So if we set up the spell correctly, we can turn this pancake into a new type of pony! This would be revolutionary!" Starlight exclaimed with more excitement than Pinkie Pie planning a party.

"I can't believe that we're actually go through with this idea," Moonbeam thought aloud.

"Why is that? I think this could actually be a revolutionary spell that will be used to make ponies who aren't happy as a certain race whatever they like!" Starlight explained.

"Yeah, that may be true, but have you ever thought of what consequences could possibly come from doing this?" Moonbeam asked.

Moonbeam had thought of something that Starlight hadn't. Starlight hadn't thought of the consequences at all.

"Believe it or not, I haven't been able to come up with any. What exactly do you have in mind?" Starlight asked.

"Well you could end up turning the pancake floofy, you could end up creating a time paradox that destroys the entire world, you could make David appear out of thin air, or you could even make LittleLooney come from another dimension and go insane because he just saw the very pony he created for himself." Moonbeam explained.

"Well those are very valid points, but I honestly think it's better to just test it out and deal with the incident when it comes, Moonbeam." Starlight replied.

"I guess that's fair enough. Is everything ready to commence the experiment Starlight?" Moonbeam asked.

"I'm ready whenever you are, Moonbeam!" Starlight told Moonbeam.

"Well I'm not the one conducting the experiment, you are so I've been ready for about an hour now!" Moonbeam responded.

"Okay, casting the spell in three... Two... One-"

Starlight executed the spell right then and it was clear something went wrong, as Moonbeam immediately felt serious pain and also a weird sensation that she was being pulled towards something.

"Oh great, it looks like I'm going to be going to the hospital," Moonbeam thought as she slowly lost consciousness.

"Savior, wake up! Wake up savior! I SAID, WAKE UP YOU STUPID PONY!" a voice yelled.

Moonbeam woke up to see something standing above her head. It was... A fork!

"Where in Equestria am I?" Moonbeam responded.

"Equestria? What's this magical far-away place called 'Equestria'?" The fork asked.

"I... Don't know. Where exactly am I?" Moonbeam responded.

"Where exactly are you? Well the answer is plain and simple! It's the magical land of Foodtopia, where any type of food you can think of comes to life!" The fork replied.

Suddenly a pony with messed-up hair and an accordion came up to the fork.

"Say, Leader Forkiplier, I was wondering where Cheesetopia was. Could you point me in the right direction?" The random pony asked.

"How many times do I have to tell you? It's to the south of Tomato Town!" The fork answered.

As soon as the pony had come to ask the question, he was off on a quest to find his final destination.

"Sorry about that. Anyway, what're you doing here Moonbeam?" asked the fork.

"I don't know! Also, you never introduced yourself. What's exactly your name?" Moonbeam asked.

"Pardon me for that, my name is King Forkiplier. All my friends just call me Forkiplier, though." Forkiplier explained.

"Well it's nice to meet you Forkiplier! Anyway, I think that I actually come from another dimension and I kinda need to get back there before my friends miss me." Moonbeam explained.

"I'm not 100% sure about this, but Spooniplier might be able to help you out with this issue. She's into all of these things involving magic and dimensions." Forkiplier thought aloud.

"That's great! How exactly do we get to Spooniplier, though?" Moonbeam asked.

"Well just follow me and I'll show you the way!" Forkiplier exclaimed.

So with that, Moonbeam followed Forkiplier through the streets of Foodtopia to try and get back to Equestria and report Starlight's error.

"So here's the castle of Foodtopia, where all of the royal family's orders and daily lives take place!" Forkiplier explained.

"This place is beautiful!" Moonbeam exclaimed as she walked through the front gate guarding the castle.

It was a building unlike anything Moonbeam had ever seen. The tapestries were a golden with a hint of orange at the bottom and the stained glass windows depicted a purple Earth Pony wielding a fork as a weapon, much like the Lightsabers of the olden days of Equestria.

"Well if it isn't the Pony of Legends! Come on in!" A giant spoon said in a very excited tone.

"I assume that's Spooniplier right there," Moonbeam thought.

"Forkiplier informed me of your position and I'd like to offer you a deal. I'll send you back to your dimension and the land of 'Equestria' if you can do us a favor. In the North part of Foodtopia, Professor Pancake and his rebellion are slowly destroying our Navy. If you can get drive them out of town, I'll beam you back." Queen Spooniplier offered.

Suddenly the same pony with the messed-up mane and accordion came into the room.

"Hey, can someone point me to Cheesetopia? The last person was wrong about it." the pony said with frustration.

"It's to the South of the Cracker Barrel." Spooniplier explained.

"You better be right, otherwise the next person I talk to will get a piece of my mind!" the pony yelled as he walked out of the castle.

"Now back to the deal. What if I can't drive them out of the city?" asked Moonbeam.

"It won't matter because you'll probably be dead." Spooniplier replied.

Moonbeam felt like she had no other option in the end.

"I accept your offer. Now do I get anything to defend myself at the very least?" asked Moonbeam.

"I have exactly the thing for you! Follow me!" exclaimed Queen SpoonSpooniplier as she left the room.

Moonbeam reluctantly followed, bracing herself for what's to come in the next day.

Moonbeam followed Spooniplier for what felt like hours, turning left and right so many times that her head began to completely melt.

"How exactly does she remember the way around this castle?" Moonbeam thought aloud, not realizing it until she couldn't take her words back.

"Well when you live here for many years, you'll eventually remember every single corridor of this castle." Spooniplier replied mindlessly.

"I guess that's true. Anyway, how close are we to what you want to show me?" Asked Moonbeam.

"Funny that you ask because we're here right now!" Spooniplier exclaimed as she lead Moonbeam through a door.

"Whoa!" Moonbeam exclaimed, absolutely in awe of what the room had in it.

There were all types of food working in a room with highly advanced technology that Moonbeam couldn't even comprehend without asking a million questions and the tapestries were even more beautiful than the past few rooms she had been in, which was saying a lot considering the sheer beauty of the castle.

"Now I know that there's a lot of technology that you've probably never seen before, and you may get to take a tour of the facility some day, but the thing that I wanted to show you is right next to the alchemy table over there." Spooniplier explained, stopping Moonbeam's thoughts completely where they started.

Spooniplier guided Moonbeam to a table with multiple beakers, most of which were completely different from what was in Equestria.

"Forkiplier, are you ready to do the thing?" Asked Spooniplier.

"I was afraid that you would ask that. I guess I'm ready." Forkiplier responded.

"Wait a minute! I didn't see you follow us on the way there Forkiplier. How exactly did you get here?" Moonbeam asked.

"Oh, I took the other route here. I don't like this one because it's too confusing." Forkiplier explained.

"So you're telling me that there's a less complicated way to get here?" Moonbeam asked, trying to get confirmation of Spooniplier's insanity.

"Yes." Forkiplier answered before he took a drink of a bluish-green liquid.

"Anyway," Spooniplier cut in "Forkiplier will be your weapon in this fight against Professor Pancake thanks to this shrinking potion."

Everyone was silent for a couple of moments before Forkiplier finally said something, smaller than he was before.

"Trust me, you'll be fine! I've never let anyone down before!" Forkiplier exclaimed.

"So you've done this before?" Moonbeam asked.

"I've been down this road a few times, but we've never had a critical win, just a win large enough to drive the Pancakes out of town." Forkiplier explained.

"That's fair enough. Anyway, the last question I have is where exactly am I going?" Moonbeam asked one last time.

"Just follow Forkiplier's directions and you'll get there perfectly fine." Spooniplier replied.

"Got it, Spooniplier! I'll be on my way... As soon as you show me where the door is." Moonbeam exclaimed, ready to go on an adventure that she'll never forget.

After about an hour of trying to listen to Forkiplier horrible directions and multiple encounters with a crazy blue pony who was extra soft, Moonbeam finally arrived at her destination.

"624 Floofy Avenue, the place we need to be to take down Professor Pancake!" Exclaimed Forkiplier.

"Well that took long enough! Now it's time for the hard part: diplomacy." Moonbeam responded.

"Are my ears completely full again or did you say 'diplomacy' just then?" Asked Forkiplier.

"Yes, I said diplomacy because I want to at least give it a try and go from there." Moonbeam explained.

"Well I guess you are the Pony of Legends, so anything's possible." Forkiplier conceded.

Moonbeam almost fell over with laughter when Forkiplier said "Pony of Legends," as the thought alone sounded ridiculous, but Moonbeam held it in and proceeded to knock at the door.

"Who's there?" Asked a voice at the other side of the door.

"Moonbeam."

"Yeah right, let me go-"

The voice cut out and all anyone could hear were the chirping crickets of the night.

"PROFESSOR, WE HAVE SOMEONE FOR YOU TO MEET!" The voice at the other side of the door yelled.

Suddenly the door opened, revealing a group of pancakes gathered around a fireplace.

"Come on in." The pancake at the door said in shock.

"Well look who we have here, it's the Pony of Legends and her friend Forkiplier. I've been expecting you." The biggest pancake in the room said.

"That right there's Professor Pancake, leader of the rest of the Pancakes." whispered Forkiplier.

"Welcome to my headquarters for the Pancake Alliance! I'm Professor Pancake and how exactly may I help you?" asked the big pancake.

"Well everyone in Foodtopia's really getting nervous about your headquarters being in town and they're wanting you to leave. I've even been sent by Spooniplier to drive you out of town and I was wondering if there was a way to get you to move out of town without war or not." Explained Moonbeam.

Professor Pancake thought about it for a while until he finally came up with an answer.

"Well there is the old Pancake Duel thing, but I'm assuming you don't want to go that route." The Professor replied.

"Well if that will work, what do I have to do?" asked Moonbeam.

Moonbeam's response broke Professor Pancake's mind and it was clear that he didn't know what to say for a while.

"It seems obvious, you need to fight me using your fork friend and if you defeat me, I send my troops out of here for good, but if you lose the battle, you die." Professor Pancake explained.

"I'm up for the challenge, no matter the costs." Moonbeam replied courageously.

"Are you crazy? If you die Moonbeam, the entire universe will turn into a big, floofy pancake!" Forkiplier responded.

"Really?" Asked Moonbeam.

"Yeah, it's depicted in the Book of Skulls!" exclaimed Forkiplier.

"Well then I guess I have no choice but to do this: I accept the challenge!" exclaimed Moonbeam.

"Okay, I'll get ready and then we'll start." Professor Pancake responded.

"Forkiplier, I hope you're ready to go into my mouth because that's what I'm going to have to do for this." Moonbeam explained to Forkiplier.

"Whatever you need me to do, Legend." Forkiplier replied as he got ready for the battle.

The next few minutes for both Moonbeam and Professor Pancake were intense. Preparations were being made for a battle with higher stakes than Steak Mountain, with the winner having complete control of the galaxy.

"Are you ready for this, Pancakey boy?" Asked Moonbeam.

"As ready as you are, Moonbutt!" Exclaimed Professor Pancake.

They both grabbed their weapons and walked in a circle for a moment, trying to find the opportunity to strike the other until Moonbeam finally charged and hit Professor Pancake's spoon as hard as she could.

Unfortunately for Moonbeam, Professor Pancake saw the attack coming and he was able to parry the attack and strike back, only for that to get parried as well.

The fighting was intense: parries and strikes were flying all over the place and they had moved all the way to the neighboring street before anything said a word.

"You know that this is a lost cause, right?" Asked Professor Pancake.

"Why do you say that?" Forkiplier asked for Moonbeam.

"Because we'll keep killing each other again and again, but we'll keep reviving as well. Plus, my higher-up is way more powerful than me." Professor Pancake replied.

"Hey guys! Sorry to interrupt, but can you point me to Cheesetopia? The last few people were wrong about the directions." the pony with a messed-up mane asked.

"Okay, I have to ask what you're name is. We've met three times, but I've never gotten your name." Moonbeam cut in, dropping Forkiplier.

"Excuse me, princess! My name's Raincloud Drizzle, remember?" Drizzle asked.

"Drizzle, what're you doing here?" asked Moonbeam, laughing hysterically.

"How did you not recognize me? Also, let's just say that Starlight's spell really didn't work too well." Drizzle answered.

"Wait a minute, why did the writer decide to include Drizzle? He's literally had nothing to do with this challenge at all!" Forkiplier asked.

"Because the original plan was spoiled and he wanted to go with something that no one would've ever seen coming." Moonbeam replied.

"Uh, we're still in the middle of a fi-"

Professor Pancake was suddenly cut off by Drizzle taking a big bite out of him until there was nothing left.

"Man, that threat sure was delicious! Can we do this more often?" Drizzle asked.

Moonbeam and Forkiplier looked at each other in shock. The creature they were fighting just got eaten by Drizzle.

"What? I haven't had anything to eat since I quit Hayburger, so I have a really big appetite!" Drizzle explained.

"Are you still hungry?" asked Forkiplier.

"A little bit. Why?" Drizzle asked in confusion.

"Because there are a few more pancakes in the house at the corner and I was hoping you'd take care of our pancake problem." Forkiplier replied.

"Moonbeam, would you help me out with this one?" asked Drizzle.

"Well I am a little hungry, so sure!" Moonbeam replied as Drizzle and herself ate a few more pancakes.

"I am eternally grateful for the both of you guys' help with your involvement in getting rid of the pancakes. I know what your reward is Moonbeam, but what about yours Drizzle?" asked Spooniplier.

"Well, I still want to go to Cheesetopia, but I think I'd just like to go back home with my friend if that's possible." Drizzle replied.

"Your wish is my command." Spooniplier responded as she opened the portal.

"One last thing before you leave: there's another Legend out there named Floofy. If you find him, tell him hi for me." Forkiplier stated.

"I'll be sure to if I see him!" exclaimed Moonbeam.

And everything that happened after that is for another story at another time.
