Henry is asked by his friend to help with testing a machine, during the test, the unexpected happens and the teen wakes up in a world of colorful ponys, and he himself is one.
One moment Henry was helping his odd friend, the next he was being electrocuted then he blacked out.
Now in a world he doesn't recognize, one full of colorful ponys, he tries to figure out what happened, why hes now a small yellow filly, and how to get back home.
Henry woke up and stretched 'no matter how much sleep I get I always feel tired when I wake up’ he thought as he sat up rubbing his eyes, he left his room heading to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
Once he finished his shower and getting dressed he walked down his stairs to the kitchen, he poured two bowls of cereal and set one on the counter and took his leaning on the wall waiting, he are some of cereal as he heard a alarm clock go off upstairs.
After a few minutes a very tired ten year old boy walked down the stairs "I'm guess you stayed up a bit late huh?” Henry asked with a smirk.
"Ngh” the boy groaned walking over to the other bowl of cereal and began eating it.
Henry chuckled "I keep telling you to go to bed on time, but I guess playing video games is to much fun”.
"Hey you play games to!” The boy argued.
"You got me there, but not super late at night, play them on the weekend when you don't have school” Henry offered.
"Ugh but I have to wait sooo long then” the boy whined.
Henry just chuckled shaking his head "that's how life is bud” he put his bowl and the boys in the sink and began washing them.
"So you gonna help Danny out again today?” The boy asked.
"I don't know, it depends if he needs me-” he was interrupted when his phone went off, he pulled his phone out of his pocket to see what it was, he found a text message from none other than Danny himself asking for his help on his experiment.
"Ok we seriously need to get you checked out to see if you got some like future sight Sam” Henry smiled looking at his brother.
"Yeah I could be a superhero then!” Sam struck a superhero pose.
"Future sight man!” Henry chuckled at the bad name.
"No that name sucks!” Sam smiled "so what is the experiment Danny wants your help with?”
"Eh not sure, hopefully he's not attempting his flying car again, that thing failed horribly” Henry shuddered at the memory “I guess I'll see when I go to help him”.
"Wish I could go too…” Sam pouted.
"Yeah but you got school” Henry ruffled up Sam's hair "speaking of which your gonna be late c'mon” he helped Sam get his backpack and walked him to the bus, once Sam got on he waved him goodbye as it drove off.
Sam and Henry lost their parents two years ago in a car accident, Henry had to take care of his brother now, he also had to get a job to pay for the bills and school, it was tough but he was getting through it.
He started making being way to Danny's house, Danny was a childhood friend of his, he was as well a scientist, he was smart but he was also odd, most of his experiments were based off of things he's seen in science fiction movies, shows, and books.
Danny helped him out a lot when they were in school together, Henry basically owes him a lot it's part of why he helps Danny out with the experiments, the other reason is because they're friends.
Henry got to Danny's house and rang the doorbell and waited "Henry! Hey come to the backyard!” Danny called from the backyard, Henry walked around the house over to the fence gate, he opened the gate walking into the backyard and found a large machine in the middle of the yard, it had a satellite dish on the top of it pointed to the sky, there were cables on the ground running into the house and over to a table with a couple computers.
Danny was over by the machine fiddling with it.
"Woah….is this like for you internet?” Henry asked.
"No this is my Weather Machine!” Danny exclaimed as he walked over to Henry smiling.
"Weather Machine?....this going to sound stupid but uh...what does it do?”
"Allow me to explain, it will allow me to manipulate the weather, I could make it rain in places to help food grow, or if it's raining to much I could stop it, I could even make it snow in the dessert” Danny said won't excitement as he looked at the machine.
"isn't that kinda dangerous? What if you accidentally make like a tornado? Or cause a tsunami?” Henry asked sounding worried.
"I'm sure they won't happen” Danny walked over to the table with the computers "ok now I need you to flip that switch while I monitor the date to make sure it doesn't start creating a out the control storm”.
"Uh...sure…” Henry walked over to a large switch on the machine and looked at Danny who gave him the thumbs up, he flipped it and the machine powered up, thunder cracked and Henry looked up seeing dark clouds form above "it worked....?”
"It worked!!” Donny cheered.
Thunder boomed and lightning flashed in the sky "yup it did...so um...can you shut it off?”
"Of course” Donny typed in the computer but nothing happened "um there odd…” he typed again with the same results "I..I can't stop it”.
"What?!” Henry grabbed the switch and flipped it again but nothing changed, he flipped up and down, the switch broke off "shit shit shit shit!!”
Danny was typing frantically on the computer before he ripped a cable out, the machine started powering down then and they sighed in relief.
A purple bolt of lightning shot down from the sky sticking the machine, electricity shot through the machine and ran down one of the cables, the cable happened to be the one Henry was standing on by accident, electricity engulfed his body, he felt pain like he had never before, it was like his entire body was on fire, he could hear Danny yelling at him in fear, Henry thought the pain would never end that was until he blacked out.

Rainbow Dash was flying through the sky as horrible storm was happening, lighting and thunder exploded through the sky as she flew around looking for angling the flight be caught in the storm, it was difficult to fly through the strong winds and rain but luckily she was one of the best flyers in Equestria.
She hovered in air looking around but she couldn't spot anypony, she hoped everypony had gotten to safety from the storm, she was about to fly back to Ponyville when she saw a large purple bolt of lighting shoot down to the ground, she flew in its direction to see if a fire had been started by it.
When she got to the spot where the lightning struck, the lightning had made a word crater in the ground but luckily there was no fire, she was about to leave when she saw something in the crater looking in closer she gasped when she saw a small filly in the crater, she was knocked out and had bad burn marks all over her body.
Rainbow Dash flew down picking her up and flew off towards Ponyville hospital, she hoped she could get there in time, she had no idea how long this filly would last, she looked down at the filly noticing the black lightning bolt cutiemark she had.

Henry was in a dark void, he couldn't feel anything his body was numb, but then pain shot through his body, he gasped waking up causing him to go into a coughing fit, he groaned once he was done coughing, his entire body hurt, it was like when you burn your finger on the stove except all over his body.
He looked around weakly finding he was in a hospital room 'so it wasn't a dream, I actually did get electrocuted….wonderful, I hope Sam's not to worried...Danny's gonna owe me big time for this….’ Henry thought as he looked at the ceiling, as he stared at the ceiling a few strands of black and yellow hair fell into his vision.
He definitely did not have black and yellow colored hair, his hair was brown 'did someone dye my hair?? Why the hell would anyone do that?!’ he reached his hand up to grab the hair only for a stump covered in bandages to come into his sight, jumped he looked at the stump in fear 'my hand's gone!!’ he raised his other hand only to find another stump.
He looked between the two stumps "my hands are gone!!!” he yelled out only to freeze, that wasn't his voice, it was higher and scratchier, it sounded more like a child's.
'Did the lightning mess up my throat too???' He needed to know what else the lightning might have damaged, he looked down at his blanketed body and instantly noticed how his legs didn't even reach the end of the bed, now that he thought about it his legs definitely felt wrong.
He gulped and went to grab the blanket only to remember he had no hands, the thought nearly made him cry, he fought back the tears and put one of his stumps under the blanket and pulled the blankets off.
What he saw he never could have expected, his legs were bandaged yes but they were bent in the wrong direction, that was shocking but above it was even more his stomach was covered in yellow hair.
He was breathing heavily now as he looked around frantically for a mirror, as he was looking around the door to the room opened, he almost felt relief in the thought that a doctor a nurse was coming in to tell him was hallucinating from drugs.
The little relief he had vanished when what he can only describe as a cartoon looking horse walked into the room, it had a nurse's outfit on and it was green, he then spotted the horn on its head, his jaw never dropped that low before.
The nurse horse looked at him gasping and smiling "oh you're awake, that's so good to see, how are you feeling?”
Henry was wrong he jaw dropped further as the fricken horse nurse talked to him, with a woman's voice.
"Um...hello?” She asked ad walked closer.
Henry began screaming and throwing everything her could at the horse, he threw a pot that was on the table next to the end at her, he then threw a lamp then his pillow, then he felt a strange feeling run through his body before he screamed in pain as electricity exploded out across the room exploding the lights on the ceiling.

The mane six were sitting outside the room waiting for the filly to wake up, Rainbow Dash told them how she found her, Twilight wanted to know how the filly got there and what happened, the filly should not have survived being struck by lightning.
A nurse walked by them and into the room, after a few minutes they heard the filly screaming and glass shattering then another scream before the sound of glass popping and the lights outside the room flickered.
The girls ran into the room to see what happened, the nurse was on the ground knocked out, the filly was on the bed but all around her were scorch marks, the walls, ceiling, and bed were burnt, the filly was knocked out on the bed with electricity sparking off her, we had new burn marks on her body.
"Oh my! I'll go get a doctor!” Rarity said as she ran out of the room.
"What the heck happened?” Rainbow Dash asked as she walked over to the bed and went to see if the filly was actually alive, the moment her hood touched her she got shocked, she pulled her hoof back shaking it from the shock "she shocked me”.
Twilight walked over and casted a spell to see what was happening, she gasped "she's got strange magic running through her body….magic a Pegasus shouldn't have, electricity is running through and around her body….but it looks like she doesn't have control of it, judging by the fact that she hurt herself”.
"Well how do we stop it from happening? We don't want her hurting herself and others around her” Applejack asked.
"If I try and hold it back it may make things worse if she does release that built up magic, but maybe if we can help her control it than she will know how to stop it from hurting anypony” Twilight answered.
"Yeah unless she's fries us while we try” Rainbow Dash said getting a glare from Twilight and Applejack "what? It's true! How do we know she won't sneeze and shoot a bolt of lighting at us?.... actually that'd be pretty cool, not the last part about being hit by lightning”.
Twilight rolled her eyes, a doctor rushed in with rarity behind him, he rebandaged the filly and then checked the nurse before getting two other nurse's to carry her out.
"Are they going to be alright?” Rarity asked the doctor.
"Yes, the filly us in worse shape than the nurse though, she got injured far more than her but she'll be alright in a few days” the doctor explained.
"Thank you” Rarity walked over to the girls and Twilight told her what the plan was.
Henry groaned as he woke up once again feeling his skin sting 'what the hell was that dream?....god I'm gonna kill Donny when I see him’ he looked around the hospital room finding it was different than one he had in his dream “heh for a second there I was worried it wasn't a dream” he closed his eyes to get some actual rest.
His eyes shot opened wide after realizing his voice was different, he sat up quickly and winced from the burns on his body, he looked around and spotted a mirror across the room but it was facing away from the bed, he groaned annoyed and looked down from the bed, oddly things looked so much farther down now.
He looked at his stumps and messed up legs then back at the floor “I'm not going to like this” he shuffled his body around and tried to get off the bed, he was able to get his legs over the edge but he soon realized without fingers he had nothing to help him hold onto the sheets of the bed.
He started falling backwards “eep!” he let out a cute noise as he fell backwards and then hit the ground, wincing feeling a new pain on his back, he quickly rolled off his back and sighed in relief, he then looked across the room at the mirror, finding he still had a long ways to go.
He looked at his legs, they did not look capable of walking but he had to try, he put his legs under him and pushed himself, his back hurt when he tried to stay upright “ow ow...ok...fight through it….now walk” he winced and moved his right leg forward and proceeded to face plant on the ground.
“Ok….no more walking….let's try crawling” he started pulling himself across the ground wincing, his stumps hurt putting pressure on them, he slowly made his way across the floor, it took him awhile but he finally got to the mirror “oh thank you god….”
Finally at the mirror he still couldn't see himself in it since he was on the ground “dammit….it's like this crap never ends”.
He put his legs under him and pushed himself up, he used the mirror to hold himself up putting his stumps on it for balance, he was looking at his shaking legs as he stood “ha there….ok now my refl-” he froze looking into the mirror.
In front of him was a small yellow horse, it had black hair with a yellow stripe in it, it's eyes were violet colored, it had bandages all over its legs and chest, it had a shocked expression on its face with its mouth open, it was trembling as well.
Henry didn't want to believe what he was thinking but the truth was literally in front of him, he slowly pulled back one of his stumps, the horse did the same, he touched his cheek and the horse did the same.
“That's….that's not me….” He said in a shaky voice, he stumbled back away from the mirror and landed on all fours, surprisingly this was a lot more comfortable but his stumps or hooves still hurt from being burned.
He ignored the pain and continued looking at his new reflection, now on all fours he could see his back better and noticed he had wings, though they were bandaged “that explains the pain on my back.." he flinched hearing that voice again, it seemed to only exist to remind him of his situation.
Looking at his new body he spotted a black lightning bolt on his upper thigh “wait is that because I was hit by lightning? That's fucked up” he frowned looking at it, he reached one of his front legs back to try and touch it only to fall forward, his back legs sticking up in the air, blowing his hair out of his face revealed a very unimpressed expression.
Repositioning himself into sitting upright, he then bent his now much longer neck around to look at the mark, he tried to rub it off with his new hoof but it wouldn't come off, huffing in annoyance he looked around for some water, spotting a glass of water on the table next to the bed he smiled before frowning “I literally just got over here….and now I have to go back….my life blows right now”
Getting ready to crawl back to the bed e stopped and looked down at his four legs “hehe yes! No more crawling, I've walked on all fours as a kid before, shouldn't be too different” he took one step and started falling forward, he quickly put his other leg down “ok…a little different than before….” He took a deep breath and looked at his destination “legs let's do this”.
He stumbled across the room tripping all the way, he kept getting tangled on his own legs “ngh dammit...c'mon...hang on...ok yes!” He slammed into the table next to the bed “ow…” he rubbed his head in pain.
Looking up he saw the glass of water “well I made it….but now how do I get up there?” He looked at the bed a remembered he couldn't grab anything without fingers “maybe I can jump up and grab the bed sheets with my teeth” he turned to the bed and crouched down getting ready to jump.
He jumped up and fell onto the ground “yeah...I don't know why I thought that would work…” getting back up he looked at the bed and frowned at it “I loved beds….but you have turned that love into hate….” He bit the sheet and pulled himself up, he then bit the sheet again pulling himself up further.
His hooves reached over the edge of the bed and he bit the edge pulling himself all the way up, he panted laying on the bed “why….why is everything so difficult…” he looked over to the table at the water, he stood up uneasily because of the bed and made his way to the table.
He looked at the blows and then his hooves once he got to it “well crap….” He slowly put his hooves around the glass and tried lifting up only the glass remained on the table while his hooves went up “hrr” he tried again won't the same results, growling he tried wrapping his arms or front legs around it.
Lifting up he was able to get the glass “haha victory! Wait how am I standing up?” He looked down and saw his back legs standing up but they began shaking before giving out causing him to fall over the edge of the table and onto the ground and he groaned, the glass shattered next to him but the water wasn't in it “where'd the water g-” he looked up and saw the water coming down.
The water fell on to him soaking him completely, he spit out some water “my life officially sucks….” As he laid on the ground the door to the room opened and he saw upside-down a yellow horse with wings and pink hair.
Fluttershy had heard the commotion from outside and had come to see what was happening, she spotted the small filly on the ground all wet with glass on the ground by her “oh my” she quickly walked over to her “are you ok?”
Henry was still having a hard time dealing with the horses here being able to talk, although he was also a horse now so it was at least lucky he could talk, or wait could the horses talk because he now understands horse talk?
He realized the horse was looking at him worriedly most likely because he hadn't answered her “yes…” there's that voice again.
“Oh that's good, but um….why are you on the ground...all wet? If you don't mind me asking” Fluttershy asked.
“I wanted to rub this thing off” he pointed at the mark on his butt still laying upside-down.
“Your cutiemark? Why would you want to rub that off?” She asked confused.
“Cutie what? I want this thing off because it's basically a fuck you to remind me I was hit by lightning” he huffed looking at it. Fluttershy gasped “a filly shouldn't use that language”.
“Filly? Wait that's a baby horse, oh...that's why I'm small, hang on isn't a filly a girl baby horse? Why would you….” Henry went silent and looked between his legs and what he saw made his eye twitch “FUCK!!!!!” he or rather she screamed.
Fluttershy flinched back at the scream, she quickly left the room and was now face to face with the girls.
“sugarcube was that you who said that?” Applejack asked her, even though she knew Fluttershy would never say something like that, it was either her or the filly.
“No...the little filly did….” Fluttershy said.
“What?” Rarity gasped.
“Woah first time I hear her talk and she says a cuss word” Rainbow Dash smirked.
“Rainbow Dash that isn't a good thing, a filly shouldn't be using that kind of language” Twilight glared.
“Her party may need to be put off” Pinkie frowned sadly.
Twilight face hoofed “these are not the parts of this we should be focusing on girls, let's just go in and see her” she walked into the room followed by the girls.
When they got into the room they found the filly by the mirror with her back end facing the mirror and her neck bent around to look at the mirror, she had a horrified look on her face, all the girls gasped and their faces turned bright red, Twilight quickly used her Mahdi to force them out of the room and closed the door.
“Perhaps she needs a bit more time alone….” Twilight said looking at her friends, Fluttershy had her face covered with her wings as she was on the ground, Applejack looked like she was trying to erase that memory, Rarity fainted, Rainbow Dash was banging her head don the wall, and Pinkie Pie was washing her eyes out with soap and water.

After the yellow horse left Henry was left staring at the ceiling trying to presses what she just found out about her new gender 'ugh…..I've seen pictures and yet seeing it on your body is so much worse….but how? How could being hit by lightning cause all this?! I'm a fricken horse!! A girl horse!! Last time I checked lightning did not do this to people….wait there were other horses too….that nurse horse had clothes….so than everyone was hit by lightning? But then why are they acting like it was nothing strange…?’ she tried to think of how all this could have happened, but then it struck her just like the lightning had.
'Donny’s machine! Lighting connected with it and I was electrocuted, but he had turned it off….could I have been sucked into another world?? Did I die and my soul was reincarnated into this body?! Why do I have so many unanswered questions?!?!!’ she covered her eyes with her hooves as she tried to calm herself, which was difficult since not only was she in a new world full of colorful talking horses, she herself was one as well as a girl one.
'maybe what I saw was an optical illusion? Yeah maybe since she said filly I imagined I had girl bits, hehe I probably have a concussion and imagine it there yeah….I need the mirror’ she quickly got up running over to the mirror but tripped and stumbled before slamming her face into the wall “ow god….I really really need to learn how to walk….” Luckily she had made it to the mirror, she looked at her reflection and took a deep breath.
She turned around and bent her neck around to look at her reflection, she couldn't see anything though because of her tail being in the way “ugh….wait horses can move their tails…..move….move….move please?” Her tail remained unresponsive, her ears folded back in irritation but instantly got weirded out “eh...my ears moved….so weird” she shook her head and they went back up, looking back at her tail she focused hard on making it move, it twitched before raising and moving “haha success! Now time to see the...truth…” she had looked at the mirror and saw the truth in it's full glory.
her heartbeat picked up and her ears folded back 'why….why couldn't I have imagined it….?’ as she was staring at her reflection her ear twitched as she heard the door opened and a group of gaspes filled the room before the door slammed shut.
She bent her head back forward and sat down, she looked at the floor and her hooves “ok….I'm nowhere near close to having my body...and nowhere near close to being home...wait!! Sam's alone!!! Shit shit shit!!! How do I get home?! Wait maybe one of those horses can help?” She went to run to the door but stopped “no...they won't believe me…. they'll just see me as some kid with that's gone insane….I need to find a way home myself”.
She looked at the window and walked towards it, she pushed it up opening it, she then looked down finding she was on the third floor “crap….these are the times I wish I could...fly” she looked at her back finding the new wings and smiled, she then positioned herself in the window and with some concentration she spread her wings “ok now time to give down onto the ground and search for a way home shouldn't be to hard” she was about to jump when the door opened.
“Um excuse me but are you done...looking in the mirror?” Twilight asked covering her eyes with her wing, when she got no answer she uncovered and found the filly wasn't at the mirror anymore, looking around the room she spotted her in the open window with her wings spread, gasping she ran towards her to grab her.
Henry jumped back in fright as the horse that at her, but she had forgotten she was in the window when she jumped back, she ended up falling out the window her wings doing nothing to help her fall, she screamed as she covered her face as the ground closer, she thought she was going die and leave her brother alone.
But the ground never came, uncovering her eyes she found she was floating just above the ground, she was surrounded by a strange purple glow, she then started floating up and back into the room before being set on the ground, the purple horse in front of him had a glowing horn it was glowing the same color as she was.
“What were you doing?? Are you ok?? You didn't hurt anything right?” Twilight checked the filly all over finding she was fine, she then hugged her in relief “thank Celestia…”
Henry was surprised to be so suddenly hugged, it was odd, she's gotten hugs from her brother of course but the way the purple horse hugged her reminded her of the way her parents had, it was so full of caring and kindness, she missed those hugs so much after they died, she had started to forget the feeling of them, she hated herself so much because of it, how could she forget the loving embrace from her own parents?
But now she was feeling those hugs again, she remembered each of them, tears formed in her eyes as she hugged the purple horse back tightly, tears streaming down her face as she sobbed into the horses fur.
Twilight looked down at the now crying filly 'she must be so scared…..’ Twilight rubbed the filly's back up and down comfortingly “it's ok….let it out” she sat there letting the filly cry.
It had been so long since Henry cried this hard, she had to bottle it up and look brave for her brother, but right now she was able to let it all out.

Twilight had moved the filly and herself over to the bed, the filly was still crying though a lot less now, she continued to comfort the filly, Twilight heard the door open then and Applejack peaked her head in before spotting them, Twilight put her hoof up to her mouth in the quiet gesture.
Applejack nodded walking over and whispering “is she ok Twi?”
Twilight nodded “she just got scared after falling out the window…”
Applejack looked scared hearing she fell out the window before Twilight calmed her “I caught her she's fine”.
Applejack sighed in relief “you want me to get a doctor?”
“No it's fine, I'm gonna stay with her a bit until she feels better, I'll meet with you girls after ok?” Twilight asked looked at Applejack who nodded smiling as she left the room, Twilight then looked down at the filly “you ok?”
Henry nodded sniffling before her face turned red in embarrassment, she justed sobbed on somebody like a child, she rubbed the tears off her face and turned away from Twilight trying to hide her embarrassment.
Twilight looked confused before smiling slightly “hey it's ok to cry, it helps you feel better, I'm not going to judge you for it”.
Henry turned back around and shuffled closer to Twilight hugging her, the action made Twilight smile and hug her back.
The girls were sitting around the Cutie Map table waiting for Twilight to return, Applejack had told the girls what happened when she left the room and that Twilight would meet back up with them, that was a while ago now.
Just then the doors to the room opened and Twilight came walking in smiling brightly, Fluttershy was the first to speak up "is the filly alright?”
"Yes she's fine now” Twilight said with a smile.
"you were gone for a while darling, was she crying that much?” Rarity asked worried for the mental health of the filly.
"No I was actually with the doctor, she calmed down a bit after you girls left so I went to talk with the doctor, I was curious if they had found her parents or legal guardian but they hadn't, in fact they weren't able to find any record of her at all” Twilight explained.
"How could that be possible? She didn't just fall out of the sky” Rainbow Dash said floating in the air with her front legs crossed.
"At the moment we don't have anything on where she came from” Twilight frowned.
"So what should we do?” Fluttershy asked.
"Well after I found out that her parents couldn't be found I kinda decided to well….” Twilight moved out of the way of the door "come in” she smiled as the filly stumbled in slowly looking around at each of them "I decided to be her legal guardian till we find her family”.
The girls all walked over and stood in front of her Twilight then pointed to each of them "this is Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy, they are my friends and they are going to help us find your family”.
Henry looked at each of them 'what kind of names are those?....I guess talking colorful horse names….and how are they going to help me? I'm in some other world’ she thought.
"Do you want to tell us your name? It would be a lot better than calling you the filly…” Twilight smiled down at her.
'shit if I use my name it's gonna sound really out of place, especially for a girl...crap, wait those cutie whatever's match their names maybe that's how how they are named?’
She looked at her mark it was just a black lightning bolt 'um black bolt? Obsidian spark? No those sound like shit!’ she looked at the six mares who were looking at her worriedly "um...it's Lightning….Burst” she hoped they'd buy it.
The girls smiled "it's good to meet you darling” Rarity said.
Rainbow Dash flew over to her "yeah good to finally know your name, and i bet with a name like that you can fly pretty fast, maybe later we can find out?”
"sugar cube she's still recovering from her accident, she won't be flying for a while” Applejack said walking over to Rainbow Dash.
"Pfft flying will make her feel better” Rainbow Dash smirking as she imagined how fast she could fly.
"Not if she gets hurt trying” Applejack frowned.
"You don't know that she will”.
"And you don't know she wont”.
"I can't fly anyway” Henry piped in, she didn't need this conversation getting in a fight over flying if she can't fly.
"What????” Rainbow Dash cried looking like she'd been slapped across the face.
"What? I don't know how to fly….why is that so shocking?”
"Well because...your a pegasus! All pegasi know how to fly!” Rainbow Dash flew lower to her so they were face to face.
"Well...I don't" Henry looked at her in amusement as Dash tried to think of an answer to this impossibility, a small smile grew on Henrys face, one that went noticed by Twilight and the other girls except Dash.
Rainbow Dash finally gave up with a sigh of defeat before she smiled “I'll have to teach how than".
"What?” Henry looked at her shocked.
"I won't allow you to continue on without knowing how to fly, so I'll teach you how to” Rainbow Dash landed by her "it's gonna be awesome!”
Henry looked at her "how about no….I'm fine with staying on the ground, you can have the sky for yourself” she patted Dash on the chest
"Come on Lightning Burst, I want to show you around the castle so you know where everything is” Twilight said as she picked her up with her magic setting Lighting on her back
Dash just stood there frozen in shock, the other girls followed and giggled at Dash’s shocked expression.
"Cheer up Dash she's still not used to any of this, she probably doesn't even trust you, maybe once she gets to know yah she'll let you teach her?” Applejack closed Rainbow Dash’s open mouth as she walked by.
Dash thought about it and smiled 'than I guess I'll have to make her like me’ she flew after the girls.

"And this is where you will be staying” Twilight said opening the door to a rather large room,Henry looked in at in in awe, they had walked through the entire castle, Twilight showed her each room, and now finally showing her the room she'd stay in.
"It's huge!” She said as she climbed off Twilight back and stumbled in looking at the high up ceiling, the girls all smiled looking at her amazement.
"Well I couldn't give you a small room that would be just cruel” Twilight chuckled.
"Thanks” Henry smiled making her way over to the window, she looked out it seeing the world outside, it really was beautiful, back home she never saw places like this besides in pictures and movies but now she was actually seeing large forests and grassy hills.
Rainbow Dash flew over and landed by her "you know you can see a lot more from the sky, plus CloudsDale let's you see all over Equestria”.
"CloudsDale? What's that?” Henry asked
"What?!?!” Rainbow Dash yelled.
Henry’s ears folded back "ow ok ok these ears are sensitive”.
"How can you not know about CloudsDale???” Rainbow Dash asked in confusion.
"I just don't….speaking of which where am I right now?” She asked raising her eyebrow.
"Oh oh your in Twilight's castle!” Pinkie said excitedly "what do I win??”
"I got that thank you and I meant where is this castle? Where is this town?” She huffed.
"Ponyville and Equestria?” Twilight said sounding confused "where did you come from?”
'from another world’ she had to think this through in order to not sound suspicious "I don't... remember….”
"What? How can you forget that?” Twilight asked before gasping "you must have amnesia”.
'thank God she figured that out, hopefully I can play this card long enough for me to find a way home’ she put on a sad face "I do…?”
Twilight frowned walking over and nuzzling her "I'm sorry Lightning”.
Henry went stiff, she was feeling odd, she felt the care behind the nuzzling and the sadness, it made her feel bad about lying to Twilight, tears formed in her eyes 'what...what is this?? I never felt this emotional before!’ she shook before she buried her face into Twilight's neck and began crying.
Twilight was surprised but she then sat down and pulled Lighting closer to her and hugged her “it's going to be ok...we'll help you get your memory back” the girls all walked over and joined the embrace.
Henry sobbed uncontrollably 'I’m sorry! I'm sorry….!’ she cried in her thoughts as she sobbed into Twilight's chest.
After a while Henry stopped crying and they all stopped hugging, Twilight looked down at her "feel better?”
Henry nodded rubbed her tears out of her eyes "sorry….I don't usually cry….” She sniffled.
"It's good to cry, if you don't you'll just bottle it up and that will cause more harm” Twilight said as she brushed Lightning's hair out of her face and she smiled up at her.

Henry was laying in her new bed reading a book on Equestria History, Twilight was very excited when she had asked for the book but was also curious why she wanted it, Henry made up the excuse that she just wanted read it, she was lucky Twilight believed her and agreed that he's liked to re-read books herself.
It was pretty interesting stuff actually in it, apparently this world was based around magic, there were alot of mythical creatures that lived in this world but nothing about humans unfortunately.
She also found out that everyone she's met isn't a horse they are actually a pony, she wondered if there were horses but she wasn't able to find anything on them, she did the out however that the land was ruled by two princess sisters named Celestia and Luna, they were pretty much like goddesses from what she read.
The most shocking thing she found out was that Celestia and Luna controlled the sun and moon here, she was finding that this world was vastly different from earth and yet very similar, it wasn't as advanced with technology like earth is but it made up for it with magic, and it appeared to not have as many wars as earth, it was a pretty peaceful world besides some of the creatures that lived in it.
And since this place had so much magic Henry figured there must be a way to return to earth, she just had to find it, though that would require getting to know the world she lived in, she just hoped she wouldn't be found out, these ponies didn't seem to like things pretending to be ponies.
She didn't know what they would do to her if they found out she wasn't actually from this world, maybe banish her far away, or lock her in a dungeon, or even kill her, she was hoping for the other two rather than the latter.
She yawned and blinked a couple times as she continued reading, her eyes kept getting heavier and heavier as she read, eventually her head rested on the bed and she passed out.
Twilight peaked her head into the room and saw Lighting fast asleep won't the book open in front of her, she smiled and walked in quietly, she used her magic to take the book off the bed and moved Lighting so that her head was on a pillow, she then pulled the blanket over her and turned the lights off and left the room.

Henry woke up and stretched, he yawned and rubbed his eyes, his eyes shot open wide as he realized he had hands, smiling he jumped out of bed finding he was himself again “thank God! That dream was insane!” He chuckled as he left his room.
He opened his brothers door finding his bed empty "well well looks like someone finally woke up before their brother” he walked downstairs "Sam? You already awake? I wasn't expecting you to be up before m-” he stopped talking when he saw standing across the room was a copy of himself, only his copy had black eye and a very inhumane smile stretched across his face
Henry looked at his creepy copy and swallowed his suddenly dry throat "who...who the hell are you?!”
His copy's neck snapped to the right sharply and he heard it's neck crack "never looked in a mirror?” It asked, the smile never leaving it's face.
"You aren't me….” Henry kept his eyes on this thing.
"You're right….I'm not a little yellow pony” it bent its head the other direction making another crack.
Henry looked at it confused before he realized everything started getting bigger and, he looked around confused before realizing with dread that everything wasn't getting bigger, he looked down at his body finding the small filly body again.
He looked back at the double only to freeze, his double was inches from his face, that smile still on its face.
"boo” it said softly.
Henry bolted up the stairs as fast as she could with her hooves, she glanced back and saw it was crawling up the stairs on all fours, its arms and legs moving faster than she's ever seen a person move on their hands and feet.
He stumbled up the rest of the stairs and towards her room, spinning around to close the door she watched as her double jumped at her letting out an inhuman screech, she slammed the door in its face and panted but she never heard a thump of it hitting the door, she hesitantly put her ear against the door to see if she could hear it.
She heard nothing though only silence, she heard a light creak behind her and went as still as a stone, her heart started beating faster as she slowly turned her head around to look behind her.
She was greeted by the things face smiling at her inches from her face, she was began shaking looking into its black soulless eyes, time seemed to slow as they stared at each other, neither moving closer to the other, just sitting there staring.
The double then jumped at her screaming.
Henry jumped up in bed screaming as loud as she could, she thrashed around swinging her hooves to protect herself, as she thrashed around electricity shot out of her body burning the end and walls.
Twilight burst into the room and saw the electricity shoot outaround her, she rushed over to the screaming filly using her magic to protect herself from the electricity "Lighting! It's ok! It's ok!” She tried to calm her but she obviously couldn't hear her, she wrapped her arms around her trying to get her to calm down, the electricity burned her but she ignored it as she kept telling her she was ok.
After a few minutes Lighting stopped screaming and thrashing, the electricity had reduced to small static sparks as she sat there panting, Twilight looked down at the shaking filly as she just stared off across the room not looking at anything, her eyes were pinpricks.
Twilight lightly brushed her mane, Lighting flinched at first but calmed down and sat there not moving "what happened…?” Twilight asked as she looked down at her.
"Bad….bad dream…..” Henry spoke with a shaking voice, she didn't look at Twilight.
"I'm sorry….” Twilight frowned, they sat there like that for a while, neither of them said a word just sitting there, Twilight continued to try and comfort her and Lighting remained unresponsive, she stopped shaking and leaned into Twilight's embrace after a few minutes.
"Feel better?” Twilight asked
Henry nodded slowly 'what was that dream?...why did I have it?’ she asked in her thoughts but got no reply, she couldn't even tell Twilight about it without revealing she wasn't actually a pony, but maybe she should? It will help not having to lie anymore but how would Twilight look at her if she found out? What if she hated her for lying, want if she threw her out of the castle, or what if she turned her into whatever authority these ponies had.
She shook at the thought and decided to keep the dream and her identity a secret, she sighed this day was already turning out to be horrible much like the day before.
She looked down at Twilight's arms seeing they were burnt slightly from the electricity "your hurt!.... because of me….” Her ears folded back.
Twilight quickly shook her head "no no you had no control, you were scared, it's nothing some healing magic won't fix” she smiled trying to make Lighting feel better.
"I'm sorry….I just keep causing trouble….” She hung her head.
"You don't have control over this….don't blame yourself, hey how about we go into town and see if we can find something to make cheer you up?” She offered looking at her with hope.
Henry just wanted to stay in bed and feel horrible, she was about to turn down the offer when she looked into Twilight's eyes, she was really trying to make her feel better "ok….” She gave in and put on a small smile.
Twilight smiled brightly and picked her up setting her on her back before leaving the room "c'mon spike we're going into town” she called
"Who's spike?” Henry looked at Twilight questioningly.
"What? Did I not tell you about Spike??” She asked looking shocked.
"No” Henry answered still wondering who Spike was.
"Sorry, he's my assistant, he was visiting a friend yesterday so maybe that's why I forgot to mention him” Twilight said while thinking as she walked.
Just then a small purple and green lizard walked into the hall, Henry looked at it in shock "that's a big lizard!” She yelled before covering her mouth, she meant to think that not shout it.
"I'm a dragon” Spike huffed looking at the filly “Twilight who is she?”
"Oh spike meet Lighting Burst, she'll be staying with us for a while” Twilight smiled.
"Oh….ok….” He looked at the filly sitting in the spot he'd normally be in.
Henry stared back at the supposed dragon 'whys he looking at me like that?’
'whys she looking at me like that?’ Spike thought as the two stared at each other.
"Um ok you two let's go” Twilight said walking breaking the strange staring contest, she walked towards the door to leave and spike followed behind her.
Henry couldn't stop thinking about her dream 'what did it mean?’ she sighed and looked around the town, there were other ponies just walking around living their lives, talking, laughing, and smiling.
That was when she saw a family of four, a mother and father and their two sons. It brought up memories of her family, she remembered the days they spent walking through town having fun, her parents would ask how their day went, the memories made her heart tighten as tears formed in her eyes 'no...no I cried enough’ she wiped her eyes and looked away from the family.
“Oh Lighting how would you like to go to SugarCube Corner? There are a lot of sweets there you can eat” Twilight smiled looking back at Lighting.
“Um I'm not really hung-” she was cut off when her stomach growled.
“Heh your stomach says otherwise” Spike smirked at her.
She frowned, she didn't want any sweets she wanted to go back home to her little brother, she wanted to go back to her regular life, but if she didn't want to be dissected by pony scientists she needed to act the part of a little kid, huffing she put on her best fake smile “sure”.
Twilight smiled and walked that direction spike following by her, after a few minutes they arrived at SugarCube Corner.
Henry looked up at the building 'it looks like it's made of candy, and judging by this world it probably is’ she thought as they walked in, she looked around the inside.
“Oh hello Twilight” Miss Cake said walking out of the kitchen.
“Hi Miss Cake” Twilight smiled.
Miss Cake noticed the filly on her back and raised a brow “who is this?”
“Oh this is L-” Twilight was cut off from answering by a loud yell.
“LIGHTNING BURST!!!” Pinkie yelled in excitement as she shot down the stairs tackling her off Twilight's back in a blink of an eye.
Henry looked at the crazy blue eyes of the pink pony as she was hugged tightly.
“Yes that's it” Twilight chuckled.
“Oh my I had no idea you had a filly! You should have told me I would have helped make a baby shower cake” Miss Cake wondered who the father might be.
“What? No no she isn't mine, I'm only being her guardian till we can find where she lives” Twilight quickly explained.
“Oh sorry dear, I just saw her with you and assumed she was yours” Miss Cake chuckled.
Pinkie was hopping around holding Lighting in her arms, she spun around the room “I missed you!! I'm so glad you're here, I wanted to ask you a bunch of stuff yesterday but Twilight said it would be better to ask later so I'll ask you now”.
Henry was having a hard time focusing, she was extremely dizzy at the moment from being spun around “ok…” she muttered as her eyes spinning around.
“What's your favorite candy? What's your favorite flavor of cake? What type of ice cream do you like?” Pinkie asked as she set Lighting in the ground and waited for the answers excitedly.
Henry shook her head to get rid of the dizziness “um caramel, vanilla I guess, and mint, why?”
“No reason” Pinkie smirked before running off.
'god she's weird….’ she thought before looking at what Twilight and Miss Cake were doing.
Twilight walked over smiling “sorry about Pinkie, she can get like that around new Ponies”.
“It's fine” she smiled faintly.
“Yes she can get pretty excited” Miss Cake smiled as she walked out from behind the counter with a tray of cupcakes on her head, she set them down in front of Lighting “you can have these to make up for it”.
“No thanks you don't have to for me” Henry pushed the tray back slightly.
“its alright Lighting go ahead” Twilight smiled.
Spike took one and took a bite out of it “mm yeah pretty good”
Henry looked down at the sweets, she had to admit they looked really good, she picked up a cupcake with both her hooves and then took a bite out of it, instantly her mouth was filled with sugary flavor, she then shoved the rest in her mouth and her vision went rainbow colored.
Henry groaned rubbing her head 'what the hell happened?’ looking around she found herself in a room she didn't recognize.
Twilight opened the door and smiled “hey Lighting….” She walked in followed by spike.
“What happened…?” She rubbed her head.
“You ate a cupcake and went crazy” Spike smirked.
Twilight glared at him “you had a sugar rush after you ate the cupcake”.
“I did?...what did I do?” Henry asked confused, she felt all staticy for some reason.
“Well you ate the other cupcakes and then rushed around the room, you were going as fast as pinkie, but then you tried eating more sweets so Twilight grabbed you and then took you back here all while you took every opportunity to escape back to the sweets” Spike explained.
“Really?....that's never happened before….” Henry was genuinely surprised, looking around the room she remembered she didn't know where she was “where are we?”
“Oh SugarCube Corner still, this is pinkies room, she said you could rest here” Twilight smiled.
“I'll have to thank her” Henry sighed laying her head on the pillow, her headache was slowly fading.
“That'd be nice of you” Twilight smiled happy with Lightning's choice.
Henry got up and out of bed “do you know where she is so I can thank her?”
“Oh sorry she left, you'll have to thank her another time, how about for now we go see Rarity? She said she wanted to see you something” Twilight opened the door for them.
Spike left the room excitedly.
“Huh wonder what for…” she followed Twilight out of the room and down the stairs.
“We're going to head out Miss Cake, once again I apologise for what happened earlier” Twilight said sheepishly.
“Yeah...I had no idea that would happen” Henry said trying to remember the events that occured but all she remembered was odd colors and a dolphin on a unicycle, she paused on the memory 'that….I don't think really happened….’ shaking her head she looked up at Miss Cake “I am really sorry if I caused any problems”.
“Oh don't worry dear it's fine, nor harm done, now hurry along you two, you don't want to spend the whole day here now do you?” Miss Cake said with a smile.
Twilight nodded and left with Lighting who stumbled as she walked, she looked at her “are you ok Lighting?”
“What? Oh yeah I'm fine, just uh….I'm not used to walking” Henry said without thinking before quickly adding “since my hooves got burnt”.
Spike looked at Lightning suspicious.
“Oh yes I forgot” Twilight lit her horn levitating Henry up on her back, spike frowned when this happened and crossed his arms, they all Conti her down the road to Carousel Boutique.
The three of them walked into the building and up the stairs to where Rarity was, she was currently sewing a dress.
“Hi Rarity!” Spike yelled excitedly, Henry got the feeling this little lizard had a thing for the diva.
Rarity stopped working and turned around before smiling “Spikey! Twilight and Lighting Burst too! I'm glad you brought her Twilight the moment I saw her I got ideas and I knew I just had to get to work” she said trotting over to a curtain.
“Work on what..?” Henry asked curious, that was when Rarity opened the curtain revealing a black dress with yellow lining, Henry's eyes went wider than they've ever gone before, she began shaking her head back and forth “I'm not wearing a dress!!” She jumped off Twilight's back hoping she could make it out of the room and then down the stairs, then maybe find a train or wagon and get out of town, dye her hair green and call herself Lemon Lime yeah that'd work, only none of that happened since she got caught in a blue magical aura and levitated over to the mannequin wearing her new dress “no...no...noooooo!!!!!” She screamed as she slowly got closer to her doom.
Henry now was wearing the dress the mannequin once wore, stood still the best she could as Rarity did the measurements of the dress all while Spike sat across the room in a chair snickering, Henry glared at him.
“It's not that bad Lighting Smile” Spike snickered.
“Then you wear it lizard face!” Henry yelled.
“Don't move please darling I'm almost finished” Rarity said as she sewed the dress together in certain spots.
“Fine…” Henry bit his cheek looking away grumbling 'swear if all this ends up being a dream I'm so gonna burn my brain cells….’
“I don't have to where the dress because I'm not you” Spike smirked.
Rarity stood back smiling “done!” She stepped away and looked at her work “you look wonderful darling!”
Henry turned to a mirror and her cheeks went red as she looked at herself 'dear god I look like a little girl's doll….’ she thought before she heard snickering.
Spike was doing his best to hold in his laughter, but in reality he was barely trying at all.
“Hrr” she growled looking away to hide her blush of embarrassment, she looked back at her reflection and looked at the dress, it didn't look bad it was just she used to be a guy and would never wear a dress, or anything girly.
Twilight walked over to Rarity “the dress looks beautiful Rarity”.
“Thank you darling, I did my best” Rarity smiled and walked over to Lighting “did you like it?”
“What? Oh um….well I don't really...” Henry stopped when she saw Rarity frown “..know anybody who wouldn't love this dress, I uh..for sure love it” she put her best smile on.
Rarity smiled happily “wonderful I'm so happy you do, I have many other ideas for dresses and I can't wait to make them”.
Henry gulped as dread engulfed her entire being “well um I'd love to but uh….” She was hoping for an idea to come to mind but she couldn't think of anything and cursed her brain for failing her.
“Rarity? Are you up there?” Sweetie Belle asked walking up the stairs and into the room before looking at her sister smiling.
“Oh hello Sweetie Belle” Twilight said and smiled.
“Hi Twilight, hi Spike” Sweetie Belle looked over at the filly wearing the dress “who's that?”
“Oh this is Lighting Burst, Twilight's taking care of her” Rarity explained before looking at Lighting “and she's my little sister Sweetie Belle”.
“Oh um hello” Henry looked at the other filly, she looked around the same age Henry currently was, and was just as small, another reminder of her shortness.
Sweetie Belle walked over to her smiling “hi, wow that dress looks great on you”.
“What? Oh um thanks” Henry blushed, she didn't know why she was blushing but for some reason the compliment made her feel strange.
“Oh I bet the girls would love to meet you, can I take her to go see them??” Sweetie Belle asked Rarity and Twilight.
Twilight looked at Rarity “well if she wants to I suppose she ca-” she was cut off.
“Yes! I'd love to go meet your friends and make some uh new friends” Henry smiled, finally a reason to get away from the fashion diva and feminine clothing.
“Alright then” Twilight smiled happy that Lighting was trying to make friends, she already was taking after her.
Henry got out of the dress and stumbled over to her “ok let's go!” She was happy that she wouldn't have to wear anymore dresses, the two left the Boutique to find Sweetie Belle's friends “so um...where are these friends of yours?”
“Oh they're at the clubhouse, I told them to meet me there so they should be there by now” Sweetie Belle said before looking at Lightning's Cutiemark “how did you get your Cutiemark?”
“Hm? Oh I um...got struck by lightning” Henry looked away from them.
“What really??? And survived??” Sweetie Belle asked in amazement.
Henry looked around before looking at her “....seriously…?”
“What?” She tilted her head confused.
“I'm literally standing in front of you...of course I survived!” Henry huffed, he didn't like kids all that much.
“Sorry” Sweetie Belle looked at the ground as they walked, eventually they got to the clubhouse.
“Why was I expecting anything more than a tree house…?” Henry asked herself looking at the small house in the tree, they then climbed the ramp up to the entrance where two other filly's stood, they smiled and looked excited spun seeing the two of them.
Applebloom ran over to sweetie Belle “who's this?”
“Her name is Lightning Burst, Twilight is taking care of her” Sweetie Belle smiled.
“Yo….” Henry felt a bit uncomfortable, he was a grown man and was hanging out with these three little girls.
Scootaloo looked at Lightning Burst's cutie mark “I bet you fly really fast huh?”
“What? Oh um...not really...I'm not good at flying...like at all” Henry looked at the filly's buzzing wings.
“Neither am I...my name's Scootaloo” Scootaloo held her hood out.
Henry looked between Scootaloo and the outstretched hoof 'handshake? But we don't have hands….crap uhhh’ she dissed her hoof and bumped their hooves together looking at her hoping that was right, Scootaloo smiled and lowered her hoof 'whew that was right…’
Applebloom walked over “hi mah names Applebloom, mah sister's Applejack” she smiled.
“Uh, nice to meet you, wait your name also starts with apple?” Henry raised a brow.
“Yup!” She smiled.
“Cool….” Henry felt super awkward, she had no idea what to do now, he was hanging out with a bunch of kids "so….what do you guys wanna do?"
The three girls looked at each other and smiled before speaking all at the same time "wagon race!!"
"Uh...tell me again what were doing up here…" Henry said looking down the steep hill while sitting in a wagon, Applebloom sat in front of him while Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo sat in another cart beside them.
"Well since we now got two pegasi we can race to see who can get to Sweet Apple Acer's first!" Applebloom said excitedly.
Henry looked at her "your pretty excited about this…"
"She usually has to race alone when we do this" Scootaloo explained as she adjusted her helmet.
"Wait" Henry looked over the three who had helmets "why don't I get a helmet?"
Sweetiebelle chuckled embarrassed "we don't have a fourth one…. usually it's just us three" she explained.
"Now get ready!" Scootaloo yelled
Henry huffed annoyed at the fact that him having no helmet was being shrugged off.
"On your marks!" Scootaloo looked forward a look of determination on her face.
Henry looked at the other two who got ready as well.
"Get set!" Scootaloo spread her wings.
Henry looked forward "alright...let's do this" he spread his wings
"GO!!!" Scootaloo cheered as her wings buzzed and her cart fell forward zooming down the hill.
Henry and AppleBloom leaned forward and he flapped his wings sending the cart down the hill chasing after Scootaloo's.
Both carts rocketed down the hill and zoomed across the path, Henry flapped his wings as hard as he could, catching up to Scootaloo's cart he looked at her and she looked surprised as his cart got ahead of hers, he smirked and looked forward to seeing a turn coming up "uh what do I do?"
"That's mah part!" Applebloom skilled and leaned to right turning the cart right.
Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle's cart turned right as well but was behind them "we need to catch up!" Sweetie Belle yelled.
"I know!" Scootaloo yelled as she flapped her wings harder.
Henry looked back and chuckled "this is way more fun than I thought!"
"Ah know! I'm having so much fun!" Applebloom cheered.
Henry chuckled before noticing something in the corner of his eyes, he looked to his left and saw Scootaloo and Sweetie belle catching up and starting to pass them, he also noticed her horn glowing "hey! No fair!"
Sweetie Belle stuck her tongue out as they passed them.
"What do we do??" Applebloom asked looking back.
"Ughh" he flapped his wings harder trying to catch up but it wasn't working, they already were flapping we fast as he could make them, Applebloom and him were gonna lose at this rate, he needed to be faster! His wings sparked before electricity engulfed them and they shot forward and thunder boomed, they rocketed last Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle.
Applebloom was pushed back into Henry from force of the speed, she looked back at the slowly disappearing Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle in the distance a smile forming on her face "wooo!"
Shooting across the first road they neared the finish line before tearing through it, both cheering at their win as they continued down the path.
"Up….Lightning...think ya can slow down now?" Applebloom asked as they continued at the same speed.
"Uh….I don't know how…" Henry couldn't stop his wings from flapping or stop the lightning that was speeding them up.
They got into town and zoomed down the road, Applebloom had to keep leaning in the cart to turn it out of the way of ponies and other cards in the road, they weren't slowing though they kept at the same speed.
The lighting on Henry's wings crackled and shot out hitting different things as they passed them, the things that were flammable caught fire such as a bundle of hay that burst into flames.
A stallion who had been pulling the hay in the cart looked back at it then forward before immediately looking back and screaming.
Henry was watching the and slowly looked back forward "oops…"
"What happened?" Applebloom asked looking back at Henry
"We uh….ran over a flower…." Henry lied not feeling like Applebloom needed to know about the hay, looking past her his eyes widened seeing something she definitely needed to know "uh Applebloom!" He pointed forward.
Applebloom looked forward and her eyes widened seeing a apple cart moving across the road, she leaned side to side but the cart was in the way "Ahhhh!!!" She hugged Lightning Burst
"Ahhhhh!!!" Henry yelled hugging Applebloom back.
Their cart smashed right into the cart sending apples flying all over, unsuspecting ponies were caught by surprise as a cloud came over them, looking up they found hundreds of red shiny apples blotting out the sun before they rains down onto the ponies.
Henry sat up from the apples and looked around the pile, Applebloom popped up with applesauce dropping down her face 'oh dang...we hit these apples hard…'
Applebloom looked at Lighting Burst and then the apples before she began giggling.
Henry couldn't help himself and started giggling as well.
Sweetie belle and Scootaloo rolled up and looked at the two of them "woah what happened to you two?" Sweetie belle asked.
"Hehe I uh kinda went to fast" Henry chuckled.
"Way to fast" Applebloom chuckled.
"Ah man! I'm riding with her next time" Sweetie belle pouted.
"Hey!" Scootaloo yelled glaring.
The three then began giggling together before Scootaloo joined in as well.
Henry trotted into the castle smiling, after him and the cmc helped clean up the apples they got smoothies which he found very tasty, as he trotted inside he spotted Twilight who was pacing, smiling he galloped over to her excited for all her about how much fun her had.
Twilight looked at Henry as he galloped over and frowned "do you know the mess you caused today??" She yelled.
Henry skidded to a halt in front of her confused "w-what?"
"You destroyed a lot of ponies property, I was told by at least twenty ponies the stuff you destroyed in your race, I told Rarity, Applejack, and Scootaloo's aunt's that cmc did too" Twilight frowned down at the filly.
"What?? No Scootaloo and Sweetie belle didn't do anything neither did Applebloom, and it was an accident! I lost control of m-" Henry tried to defend the girls and himself but Twilight cut him off.
"No excuses! Go to your room now!" Twilight yelled.
Henry's ears fell back against his head and he frowned "b-but."
"No buts!" She yelled and poured her hoof to the stairs.
Henry flinched from her yell and made his way to the stairs hanging his head, he climbed the stairs and entered his room, he climbed up onto his bed and laid down sniffling, he didn't want to but the tears flowed down his face and he buried his face in his pillow.
Slowly Henry's eyes opened, his original bedroom surrounded him, sitting up quickly he looked around smiling "yes! It was just a dream…" he froze...his voice still sounded like a child's, he looked down finding the filly body "dammit! So this is a dream….wait….this feels familiar."
"As it should" his original voice spoke from around him.
"Fuck no….not you…." Henry scrambled back in his bed until his back pressed against the wall "where are you?!"
"Oh around hehehehehehe, I saw what happened today, you were having so much fun with your little filly friends" he mocked as his voice echoed.
"It was a relief from the shit I've been through…. anyone would do the same…" Henry defended himself.
"Aw a man defending himself for playing with children, adorable" he chuckled.
"Screw you! Your just a nightmare freak!" Henry yelled out into the room.
"Am I? How can you be sure the world you were just in wasn't the dream?" The voice circled him and drilled within his mind, what if all that he had just experienced was the dream? No it may be strange weird but so was this world…
"Your lying….I know you are.." Henry clenched his teeth "that worlds more real then this one...there are people there who care about me…"
"It's cute how hard you try and lie to yourself….you think they care? Your nothing but an inconvenience to them…" the voice hissed as a glowing circle appeared in front of Henry, In it he saw cmc being scolded by their guardians
"Applebloom you will not be playing with these again, obviously you three can't stay out of trouble together" Applejack scolded Applebloom.
"Applejack is right, Sweetie Belle you will be joining me in manehatten on my trip there, there maybe you can learn to be a proper mare" Rarity huffed.
"If your parents found out about what you've been doing they no doubt would agree that you shouldn't be with these two" Scootaloo's aunt said.
"your actions have caused these three punishment for something you did, and all they wanted was to have fun with a new friend…." The voice taunted.
Henry shook his head "I'll tell Twilight it was my fault! She'll have to believe me!"
"Oh? What for? All you've told her so far has been lies, your an innocent filly, one who doesn't remember it's name, one with no parents….oh wait….that one's true" the voice erupted into wicked laughter.
Henry covered his ears with his hooves "shut up!"
"Touched a nerve I see hehe, well let's find another to tickle then shall we? Someone you also caused trouble for" The glowing circle changed to show Twilight pacing in her bedroom while spike sat on the bed.
"I don't know what to do spike...I feel like I made the wrong choice taking her in...I was able to raise you but only with the help of my parents, he can I possibly raise her?? Especially when she so...so…" Twilight couldn't think of the word.
"Childlike? Twilight she's a filly, the cmc have done things far worse then she has" Spike free to reason.
"Yes but I feel like she specifically doesn't listen to me...maybe I should see if an orphanage could take her…." Twilight sighed.
The scene faded from the circle leaving a white abyss.
Henry shook looking from the circle to then down at the bed, she was considering putting him in an orphanage?
"You felt something you hadn't in a while from her hm? How sad it seems she didn't feel the same" it chuckled coldly.
"Shut up!!!" Henry yelled as tears filled his eyes.
"Ah there's the nerve! Now let's go for another!" The circle glowed once more before showing another scene "he people you were trouble to most of all"
Henry looked confused before he saw the scene in the circle, he shook his head as he watched, Henry's parents were getting into their car both looking upset.
"This is the third time this week he's gotten in trouble" Henry's mother said with a sigh.
"If he keeps this up their just going to kick him out again" Henry's father huffed starting the car and driving towards the school.
"What are we supposed to do?...nothing we say he listens to…" Henry's mother said sadly.
"Maybe we can she'd him away? Get some help...then we wouldn't have to deal with him" Henry's father spoke, his eyes focused on the road but a smile on his face, he then looked to his wife just entire a truck came driving out from the left and slammed into their car.
Henry shut his eyes covering them with his notes "stop...please stop…." He sobbed shaking.
"Everyone you come near you cause them pain...your brother….I wonder what he is experiencing now? Now that you've left him alone...I wonder if he feels pain...sadness….or maybe relief? Maybe even joy? With you gone he won't have to suffer from the one who took his parents away" the voice snickered.
Henry was curled up in a ball shaking,he was trying to shut out the laughter, he just wanted to wake up from this nightmare, he wanted to be back home with his brother.
Thunder boomed shaking Henry from his thoughts, looking around in panick he found he was back in the room in Twilight's castle, shaking he quickly got out of bed and scrambled out of the room, walking down the dark hall he could hear his heart beating in his ears, the tears still running down his face as he walked.
"I'll send them a message in the morning...they'll help with her" Twilight huffed.
Henry burst ink the room running into Twilight's legs and hugging them "please don't send me away!" He sighed in Twilight's legs "I'm sorry...I'm sorry I didn't mean to be bad."
Twilight looked down at Lightning Burst surprised and frowned "its..it's ok Lightning" she picked her up and set her on the bed "what are you talking about? I would never send you away."
Henry sniffled "b-but you said you were sending a message to the orphanage."
"What? Oh no I was sending a message to my parents, they helped me raise spike and they raised both me and my brother, so they can help me raise you" Twilight frowned "and if you thought I would put you in a orphanage just because you accidentally caused some smashed in town, I obviously need their help more then I thought" she huffed.
Henry sniffled "i-im sorry" he hung his head.
"No no it's ok" Twilight climbed into the bed and laid down next to Henry "we just….need to learn from each other"
Henry nodded and cuddled up to her sniffling softly.
Spike nodded to Twilight as he soft the room quietly, Twilight nodded back and looked down at Lightning, she nuzzled her.
"I'm sorry I'm not how you want me to be…" Henry closed his eyes feeling more tears fill his eyes.
"No your perfect the way you are Lightning, I wouldn't want to change you at all" Twilight draped a wing over her "how about tomorrow...I ask Rainbow Dash to give you some lessons on flying?"
"I thought I was grounded?..." Henry looked up at her.
"You've been punished enough obviously" she pushed some of Lightning's mane out of her face.
"Ok" he smiled softly leaning into her and closed his eyes, he slowly drifted off to sleep in her embrace.
Henry yawned waking up, memories of last night returning and making him snuggle back into the warm blanket that surrounded him, whatever this blanket was made of made him feel safe and comfortable, rubbing his cheek against it he smiled.
A soft chuckle caused Henry's ear to swivel, opening his eyes he found Twilight looking down at him with a smile on her face, looking around he realized the comfy blanket was actually Twilight,blushing he looked up at her.
"Morning Lightning" Twilight spoke softly with a smile "feeling better?"
Henry nodded "yeah...th-thanks for letting me sleep here…"
"There's no need to thank me, you were pretty upset last night, I'm glad I could make you feel better" Twilight nuzzled Lightning.
Henry closed his eyes enjoying the nuzzling, deep inside he felt something he hadn't in a long time, a warmth that he believed had long extinguished now seemed to be ablaze and filling him.
"I-iI love you mom" he said softly, thought Twilight had heard causing her eyes to widen along with his own.
"Hey Twilight? You didn't go back to sleep did you?" Rainbow Dash called as she entered the room and saw them "oh good your still up, reaaally would have been lame if I flew all the way here and you fell back asleep after you said me and little Lightning could have a flying lesson"
Twilight was sitting there looking down at Lightning Burst shocked, like in a trance she was motionless just staring.
"Uh Twilight?" Rainbow Dash walked over waving her hoof in front of her face "helloo? Twilight?....Twilight!!"
Twilight shook her head snapping out of her thoughts "wha Huh? Oh Rainbow Dash your here...um oh here" she levitated Lightning Burst onto Dash's back.
"What was that about Twi?" Dash asked confused.
"uh you two have fun bye!" Twilight pushed Rainbow Dash and lighting out of the room before slamming the door closed, she then turned her back to it her thoughts returning to what Lightning had said.
Henry was sitting on Rainbow Dash's back deep in thought and in shock, he had no idea why he said what he did to Twilight.
"Well...that was weird" Dash was looking at the door endearing what just happened, she then looked at the small yellow filly on her back, she spotted the same confused and shocked looks at Twilight did, she had a pretty good idea who this filly was taking after already which she would not allow "alright kid I'm gonna teach you how to be Awesome like me, Rainbow Dash the Wonderbolt" she waited for the filly's reaction...but she just looked at her.
Henry looked at the blue pony 'am...am I supposed to know what a Wonderbolt is?...is...is like a job?...or title?...she's just staring at me…' Henry looked left and right before putting on a smile "cool…."
Rainbow Dash huffed "c'mon you mean you don't like the Wonderbolt's?"
"I..don't actually know what that is…" Henry said slowly.
"WHAT?!?" Dash yelled looking at the filly shocked, it was as if Equestria just broke in half and put a top hat on to do a magic trick, a filly pegasus didn't know who the Wonderbolt's where?!
Henry immediately regretted his decision to tell the truth as the made he sat on looked like her entire world had shattered.
"They are like only the coolest pegesi in Equestria!! Everyone knows who they are!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she flew up in the air.
Henry doing to her tightly once they left the ground "uh-uh c-can we maybe get back on the ground please? I-im not very good with heights."
Dash looked at the filly for a few seconds "WHAT?!?!" She yelled.
"What does everything I say to you break your mind?!?!" Henry yelled back.
"That's it! We're teaching you to fly!" Dash zipped out down the halls and out of the castle before landing on the grass a few feet from it, she set the filly down who now looked dizzy and confused.
"How we get outzide?" Henry slurred stumbling around as his eyes rolled around in his head.
"I'm pretty fast, now lesson one….uhh" she suddenly realized she didn't actually plan this out "um just flap your wings up and down."
Henry shook his head freeing himself from the dizziness "Oh it's that simple huh?" He asked sarcastically, dash simply just frowned at him and he huffed before flapping his wings up and down only when his left wing went up his right would go down "ugh...this are...nch so hard to control...no down...why are you going up?? Ughhhh"
Dash held a hoof up to her mount to keep herself from laughing, Scootaloo at least was able to get both her wings to flap the same "uh ok here try and take it slow."
Henry looked at her and huffed before her raised both wings and then lowered them, he repeated this for a couple seconds.
"Alright good now let's move them a little faster" Dash smiled.
Henry flapped his wings faster keeping them going the same.
"A little faster."
Henry flapped faster.
"Little more."
Henry moved them faster starting to sweat, these wings were heavier than they looked.
"Faster."
Henry strained to move them faster and clenched his eyes closed as he tried to move them faster.
"Yes your doing great! Just keep that speed up...and uh...maybe open your eyes…" Dash liked the progress though she knew flying with your eyes closed was a dangerous thing.
Henry opened his eyes expecting to see Rainbow Dash in front of him...only it was just blue sky, looking around he saw more sky and the castle though higher up, looking down he saw he was a few feet off the ground, gasping his wings spasmed and he kicked his legs around, the ground blurred.
Rainbow Dash's eyes widened "uh close your eyes! It's ok just um uh imagine your on the ground and keep those wings moving!"
Henry held his eyes closed and kept flapping his wings, his breathing was sporadic and he was panting, he was not good with heights he hasn't been since he was a kids they were just to damn much for him.
"C'mon kid just breath and picture yourself on the ground" dash was getting ready to fly up and catch Lightning if things went bad.
Henry breathed in and out slowly while trying to picture himself on the ground, slowly his breathing calmed and his wings spasmed less and less before they were flapping regularly.
Dash smiled happily "you did it kid, you're doing great!"
Henry smiled softly at the praising, he may not be able to look down but he was flying! Heights suck but flying rules! He could fly now! He could maybe even go as fast as Rainbow Dash did in the castle, that's make traveling way easier! And wagon races would be easy.
Dash noticed the smile on Lightning's face widening her own smile "sweet knew she'd like flying once she did it, now all I gotta do is bring her to Wonderbolt training show off my skills and I'll be seeing a new fan in club in no time, she may even make it into the Wonderbolt's with some more practice, she's going so fast it looks like she got lightning around her wings" dash watched Lighting bursts wings move faster, it really did look like she had lighting going across her wings...wait...she did!!
Dash stood shocked as she watched lighting spark across...Lighting's wings, the lighting crackled and started forming a ball around her until Lighting was fully engulfed in a ball of lightning.
Henry winced as he felt stinging go across his wings 'ngh think I pushed myself to far...wings are started to burn...pulled a muscle I think…' the burning soon traveled up his wings and across his body slowly increasing in pain "ngh gah...d-dash" he whinned in pain before erupting into a scream of pain as he felt burning pain engulf his white body "AAAAHHHHH!!!! M-MAKE IT STOP!!!"
Dash's eyes widened and she flew up to Lightning "h-hold on!!" She flew at the ball but was blown backwards as a bolt of electricity shot out hitting her, smoke came off the spot it struck and she winced.
Henry screamed in pain and thrashed around inside the ball of electricity, his eyes now open and glowing yellow.
Dash gasped before flying away, after flying twenty feet away she rocketed back towards Lighting leaving a trail of rainbow behind her before shooting through the electricity and snatching the filly and zoomed out the other side skidding across the ground, smoke came off her body as some of her fur, mane, and tail had burned from the electricity.
She looked at the ball of electricity that shrunk down before vanishing in a pop of sparks, looking down at Lightning she found she had passed out no doubt from the pain, she quickly picked her up and flew back inside the castle.
Twilight paced lost in her thoughts 'she called me mom….and said she loved me….no no maybe she said something else like...I dove hugh mob….that..doesn't make sense, and she definitely said mom...plus I don't think she knows any mobs...hopefully…'
She felt both confused and strangely happy, she didn't know why but when Lightning had said that a warmth filled her chest and made her heart beat faster, she saw Twilight as her mom and that would make Lightning her daughter...why did that make her so happy?
Suddenly the door burst open as Rainbow Dash flew in "Twilight! Something happened to Lightning while I was helping her fly!!" He held the unconscious body of Lightning Burst.
Twilight's eyes went wide and she teleported up to dash beginning to fly once she was there, she quickly grabbed Lightning Burst "oh Celestia what happened?!?!"
"While she was flying sh-" Dash got cut off in the middle of explaining.
"We need to take her to a hospital!" Twilight yelled in panic before she vanished from teleportation.
Dash quickly flew out the window to get the others and bring them to the hospital.
