There is a new Wonderbolt but she seems to be a huge team player and voice of reason. No matter what people say to her team members she can change their mind. Although being direct isn't her way of doing things. Skywing is her name and helping teammate make the right choice is her game.

Rainbow hears the voice

As Rainbow dash was talking to some strange ponies that the Wonderbolts didn't recognize they could tell that they were doing something to her.

"Let's go check this out Wonderbolts." Spitfire told them. Among all the senior Wonderbolts; like Spitfire, Soran, and Fleetfoot. There was Skywing. She was the newest Wonderbolt.

Skywing could tell something was definitely wrong here. Even though she is a new member of the Wonderbolts she know them really well. so she knew that something was up.

When the got there they saw who the mystery ponies were. It was another flying group.

"Um, well." They heard rainbow dash say.

"What's going on here?" Spitfire asked.

The other flying group looked at her. "Oh, we were just asking Rainbow dash if she would like to practice her Sonic Rainboom with us. Also if she would like to join us that wouldn't hurt either."

"Well just so you know, Rainbow Dash is fully loyal to the Wonderbolt." Spitfire told the group of fliers. "Tell them Rainbow Dash."

That's when both teams started fighting and telling each other that Rainbow Dash was with them.
Skywing knew the look in Rainbow Dash's eyes she remembered having that look so long ago.

Rainbow dash looked very overwhelmed. She looked side to side. It was either her dream team, or the chance to be the best flier ever. She hated this decision she has to make. Its one of the hardest in her life. "STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she took off into the sky, she needed to clear her head.

She then took off. "Crash wait." Fleetfoot called.

Skywing just stood on the side lines until she understood the entire situation. There are many angles this can be placed in and Skywing didn't want to miss any of them. She knew the only way to help Rainbow Dash was to get a unbiased opinion on Rainbow's situation. She had to understand what she was going through and how hard the decision Rainbow had to make. Then she would go and help Rainbow out.

"What did you tell her?" Skywing asked the other flying group. Hoping she could get enough information out of them. She knew it wouldn't be easy.

The one who seemed like their leader stepped forward. "We told her, if she wanted to she could be apart of our flying group. She could work on her Sonic Rainboom, her Sonic Rainboom if it was good enough would be the center of a routine. But if she stuck with the Wonderbolts she would just stay as the back seat flier, she would never get to show off her Sonic Rainboom. She would be put to the bottom of the best fliers list."

"So she can only chose one?" Skywing asked.

"That is correct." The leader stated.

Skywing started to understand the stress that Rainbow Dash was feeling. How could these fliers be so cruel, and make Rainbow Dash make such a hard decision.

Skywing then thought about how this must feel from Rainbow dash's point of view. Then she decided on what to do. She then took off after Rainbow dash.

Skywing found Rainbow on the side of a pond.

The other Wonderbolts flew after Skywing. They were wondering what she was going to do.

"Rainbow dash." Skywing said trying not to scare her.

Rainbow said without looking at er "What do you want Skywing?"

"Well that other flying group told us what they said to you and I just wanted to talk to you."

"What that I should chose the Wonderbolts."

"No." This response was not what any pony expected. "I just wanted to tell you that you should do what your heart is telling you to do. If it's telling you to go with that other flying group then so be it. Although if it's telling you to be with the Wonderbolts then go with that. I remember when I was going to make a choice and the people who did want me to make a certain choice basically threw me onto the guilt train. They forced me to make the decision. I'm not doing that to you. It's your decision, not mine, not the Wonderbolts, it's yours and only you can make it. I just wanted to tell you to go with your heart."

Then she sat beside Rainbow dash.

"I understand what you're going threw and I'm not forcing you to make a decision. You have to make it. You can't avoid it forever. Yes the Wonder bolt's need you, but you have two options, which is more than I had when I was younger. I know you will make the right choice. Just know that we are friends and whatever decision you make I will back it up. No matter what. I won't let anyone pressure you into making a decision that you don't want to make. It's you choice so I'll let it be your choice. If they don't like it then tough." Skywing told Rainbow as she started to walk away.

After a few hours of thinking about it and of what Skywing said, Rainbow dash knew the decision she had to make. She took off to see the Wonderbolts and the group of fliers.

"I have made my decision." Rainbow Dash said confidently.

"So, Rainbow. What do you choose?" The leader of the flying team asked. "Don't answer I know you chose us who wouldn't?"

Rainbow then looked at Skywing, and looked the leader dead in the face and said. "I. am. staying. with. the. Wonderbolts."
The Wonderbolts were so happy with Rainbow dash's decision.

The other flying team just flew away extremely angry. "WHAT!? But you could've been the best flier in all of Equestria."
"I already am the best flier in all of Equestria. I don't need your help." Rainbow Dash told the fliers. They then took off extremely angry. Rainbow dash then went over to Skywing. "Hey, thanks for the advice. It kicked some since into me."
"Any time Rainbow, any time." Skywing replied.

Then the Wonderbolts took off back to the training grounds.

Spitfire gets advice

Spitfire wasn't to happy, the last performance turned out to not be that good. She had made that routine. It was a new one. It was supposed to dazzle the audience in awe. It was to be their finest performance that they have ever done. Although it didn't go as planned.

"Hey, Spitfire." Said the newest Wonderbolt, Skywing. "Something wrong?"There was clear concern in her voice. Skywing could tell something was wrong but didn't know what.

Spitfire looked at Skywing "no nothing's wrong." I just have a lot of work to do. Spitfire told Skywing. She tried her best to convince her but to avail.

Skywing knew that Spitfire was lying, she knew that look. The look in Spitfire's eyes the look of disappointment and guilt. She knew it all too well because she had experienced it. She knew the stress of being a leader and who feels gets the blame put on them if something goes wrong. That look was so hard to ignore. She had to keep pushing her until she gets the truth out of Spitfire.

"I can tell that's not true Spitfire. You know that I'm not only a Wonderbolt" Skywing told Spitfire. She sees all the Wonderbolts as teammates, friends and family. When something is bothering you family you need to help them. If the need her then she is there for them.

Spitfire always wondered how Skywing could do that she always seemed to know how any pony was feeling. No pony could hide anything from her. She was always a team player. If you know the saying I'm your wing Skywing is the complete definition of that saying, some pony wants to know what that saying means look no further than Skywing.

"Okay, fine I am just upset about the last performance, as you know it didn't go as planned." Spitfire told Skywing. She knew hide it from. She couldn't even lie about what she was upset about.

"So, what's wrong with that?" Skywing asked trying to understand how Spitfire was feeling at the moment.

"I made the routine, it was my idea. I should have known what would happen. Spitfire said
Skywing started to understand how Spitfire was feeling. She remembered something from when she was younger.

"Well Spitfire, I know exactly how you feel." Skywing told Spitfire.

Spitfire looked at Skywing in surprise how could Skywing understand how she was feeling. "How could you understand how I'm feeling?" Spitfire asked. Skywing was younger then Spitfire, there is no way she could understand how Spitfire was feeling.

"Well, when I was younger when I was in fight school, we had to make a routine for the other Pegasus in the school to perform. I had put a lot of difficult moves in mine, some of the moves I put in were so hard that the other pegasi couldn't do them. I felt so bad that I had done that to them. The guilt that I felt was not good. I couldn't believe that I had done that to the other pegasi." Skywing told Spitfire. "It can get hard to make those kinds of decision. But any decision that is made no matter the result has a fifty-fifty chance at being a good or bad one. But you should always remember that everyone make good and bad decisions no pony always makes good decisions." Skywing tried as hard as she could to reassure Spitfire without influencing her decision. It was her decision to make anyways. No matter what happens it's Spitfire who needs to make this decision. She was only there to make it easier.

Spitfire thought about what Skywing just said. She started to think that what she should do is learn from it. She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Skywing start to talk again. I'm not saying that you shouldn't be guilty, I'm also not saying that you should be guilty. I'm just saying that you have decisions to make and chose the decision that you believe is the correct one." Skywing finished. She knew that Spitfire was thinking about what she had said. Skywing just hoped that Spitfire would make the decisions that she believed to be right even if Skywing didn't agree with them. If Spitfire believe they were right then that is good enough for her.

After that Sky with left and walk to the mess hall to hang out with the other Wonderbolts. She also want to give Spitfire time to think and sort out her thoughts. She had to thank Skywing for what she had done to help her. Skywing had made the decision easier to make. It would have been harder without Skywing.

Spitfire couldn't stop thinking about what Skywing had said. 'Make the decision that you believe is the right one' those words were the ones that Spitfire kept thinking about. That's when she made her decision.

Spitfire went to the mess hall every pony turned to look at her. She went over to Skywing. "I want to thank you for what you said to me." Spitfire said. Spitfire was grateful that Skywing had bugged her enough to get answers out of her. It would have been harder to forgive herself for the bad decision to be made. Spitfire was happy that Skywing cared so much about her teammates so much. No matter if it was a trick that they couldn't or personal problem she would help her teammates.

"No problem Spitfire. I glad to help out. Just part of being part of a team. Helping each other when a team member feels lost." Skywing told Spit fire with a smile. After all teamwork is the most important part of being a Wonderbolt. You're a team and so you always have to help each other when one is weak and help them to be strong. She will always be there for her teammates. No matter what. She knows what it's like to face the world alone. No pony should have to face the world alone.
