Tempest's Princess
Twilight Sparkle and Tempest had both been together for almost a year now and couldn't be happier in that time Tempest had become friends with many ponies and was finally getting over her past thanks to the mane 6 and had now moved in with Twilight, Starlight and Spike and was enjoying her new life with the one she loved and all her new friends as well.
It was late one night as the moon shined onto the crystal castle in ponyville as two mares where in the bedroom doing different things. Twilight was once again invested in one of her books that she had not put down all day researching some old spells Starswirl had discovered on his travels whilst Tempest was checking her old amour from when she was the commander of Storm Kings Army. However instead of having the Storm Kings mark on her amour she had removed it so there was no mark there although she was hoping Rarity may help alter it or add a mark more suited to her new life now.
"Twilight" Tempest called not hearing anything from her Marefriend as she turned around seeing her face almost against the paper of the book she was reading making her roll her eyes and smile clearing her throat.
"TWILIGHT SPARKLE EYES UP THE PRINCESS IS VISITING!" Tempested shouted like she was a drill sergeant with The Royal Guard but sure enough it made Twilight immediately look up and try clean herself up before seeing Tempest smirking at her.
"Tempest that was mean" Twilight pounted sadly just as Starlight and Spike ran in hearing what Tempest said till Twilight shook her head.
"It's ok you two sorry if my commander woke you up! It was joke" Twilight said pointing at Tempest who walked away from her amour and over to Twilight nuzzling her horn softly.
"Sorry you two she was too busy with her book to notice me so had to say something as payment I'll make breakfast in the morning for us all" Tempest offered as Spike immediately took the deal as Starlight just giggled.
"It's fine Tempest I know how she get's with books your lucky you haven't seen her when she had to make a friendship report" Starlight smirked seeing the horror or her teachers face making Tempest look at them both.
"Ooo my Marefriend getting stressed before I came do tell Starl.." Before Tempest could finish her sentence Twilight put her hoof over Tempests muzzle laughing awkwardly.
"Ha ha ha yes okay Spike back to bed and you too Starlight" Twilight said in a motherly tone making the two roll there eyes and start to walk away as Starlight looked to Tempest.
"I'll tell you later" Starlight smirked as Twilight started to get annoyed with her student her horn glowing before Tempest held her hoof.
"Hey hey easy there Twi you'll burst a bulb" Tempest joked making them both laugh for a few seconds before Twilight lifted the book way to give Tempest her full attention.
"Heh sorry Temp you know how I get with books and spells" Twilight responded after there little laugh was over.
"Temp huh my new nickname I'm guessing" Tempest smiled putting her head against Twilight and her broken horn to hers making Twilight sigh happily feeling her marefriends had against hers.
"If you want it to be then sure Temp it is" Twilight said not wanting to talk too much and ruin the moment they where having as Tempest simply climbed onto there bed and laid with Twilight happily thinking of something which Twilight caught wind of.
"What you thinking about Temp" Twilight said softly her voice always made Tempest feel protected and safe even though it was usually the other way round with them since she was the commander of a army after all.
"Just thinking back to that battle with the Storm King and when you saved me and brought me back why did you turn me back and not keep me in stone ?" Tempest Questioned knowing Twilight and her friend could of easily kept her in stone like they did with Discord the first time the fought.
" Because I saw your eyes when he betrayed you and wouldn't restore you horn" Twilight said holding Tempests cheek so she would look in her eyes.
"You did what you thought you had to do to get your horn back and thought that was the only way to get friends since your foal hood ones abandoned you when you lost your horn and never had a true friend" Twilight said comforting the mare next to her. She knew that working with the Storm King and hurting ponies and the princesses was a painful memory for her including when she lost her horn and friends as Twilight saw Tempest hold her hoof and smile like the day she was saved by her.
"And after all that I caught you and gained new friends and as your brother told me family" Tempest said passionately seeing Twilight smirk.
"My BBBFF told you that no one else and caught me who you think I am a damsel in distress" Twilight said scoffing like a posh mare had just seen sewage or some horrible clothing.
"Yes you are my Princess" Tempest replied getting Tackled by Twilight as they both laugh and fought for a few minutes before falling asleep together happily.
It was soon time for the Grand Galloping Gala as Twilight joined up with her friends to get the train to Canterlot as many other ponies bordered the train with them going to the Gala as well as the Train whistled and set off for Canterlot making Fluttershy gasp.
"Twilight what about Tempest" She said as the girls all chatted and looked at Twilight.
"She is coming right you didn't leave her at he castle did you" Rainbow Dash said flying to Twilight as Applejack pulled her down.
"Of course didn't where is she Twi ?" Applejack asked as Twilight smilied
"She's already at the Gala girls don't worry my brother asked her to go early o help with security thats all" Twilight said calmly looking out the window as the all the girls went "oohh" Making Twilight giggle as she waited to get to Canterlot and her marefriend.
They soon arrived at Canterlot as Twilight watched her friends go into the castle as she felt someone press against her and lock muzzles with her as she saw Tempest kiss her making her smile holding her hoof as they cuddled and kissed each other happily in front of the castle.
"Hello my Princess I missed you" Tempest said happily seeing Twilight still pressed against her and stay that way for a while.
"I missed you too Commander Tempest how's my brother and the princesses ?" Twilight asked happy to be in Canterlot with her.
"What about me love don't I get any attention" Tempest said sadly getting a hug from her as they walked towards the entrance to meet Princess Luna, Celestia and Cadance.
"Of course you do but I see you everyday I don't see my brother and princesses as often" Twilight said happily as they soon arrived in front of the Princesses and bowed as Twilight got hugged by her sister-in-law Cadance with Shining Amour beside her.
"Hey Twily how's my sister doing and I hope Tempest is looking after you" Shining Amour said sternly making Twilight and the Princesses giggle.
"I'm fine Big Brother and yes Tempest is the best marefriend I could ask for" Twilight said staying close to her as she looked over to Tempest talking to Luna.
"Greetings Tempest nice to see you face to face again" Luna said happily as Tempest nodding back.
"Same here Princess after all the letters we have sent" Tempest said making Twilight gasp as the both looked at her.
"You've been writing letters to Luna why didn't you tell me" Twilight said stomping her hoof making the both of them laugh.
"What a girl can't have secretes anymore dear" Tempest said smirking as the two starting pushing each other playfully as the Princesses and Shining Amour chuckled watching the two play fight.
"I remember when we did that Shiny" Cadance said getting a chuckle from her husband as he put his hoof around her.
"How's Flurryheart Cadance ?" Twilight asked since she hadn't seen her since the cruise she had with her family.
"Oh she's fine Twilight missing her Aunt though you two should come visit us and her sometime" Cadance said making Tempest look over slightly shocked from what she just heard.
"Wait me you really want me near your child after what I did" Tempest said getting a hug from Cadance as she smiled at Twilights marefriend.
"Of course Tempest your family now and need to meet her so please come with Twilight if you have time" Cadance replied lovingly and soft as she got a nod from her making her and Twilight smile as they moved out the way to go into the party and find there friends.
It had been a good hour and nothing had happened at the Gala Pinkie had done everything but all the royals weren't bother as the princesses and mane 6 was bored even Tempest was bored doing what she could to entertain her marefriend and her friends since they had all danced and eaten already there wasn't much more to do.
However a few tables away two foals where playing with there food as one foal threw some pie at her sister but she ducked and it hit Tempests muzzle making everypony gasp and look over to her as Twilight licked the pie off her muzzle smiling as Tempest walked over to the two sisters. Everypony was watching what Tempest would do as she laid next to the two smiling so they wouldn't be as scared of her.
"Not a bad throw girls but your aims a bit off" Tempest Joked making some ponies laugh including Twilight as she turned to her friends to continue talking as Tempest helped the two foals find more pie and aim at Twilight.
"FIRE" Tempest commanded as the foals threw pie and knocked Twilight over with pie making the girls and princess smirk s she got up looking at Tempest.
"Oh it's a battle you want Shining help me she's hurting me!" Twilight called as cake came from no where and hit Tempests Amour making her laugh loudly.
"Muhahah my Amour can't be.." Before Tempest could finish her amour came off and saw Pinkie Pie run off
"PINKIE!! Ok that's it FOOD WAR!" Tempest called as many ponies didn't join in till they got hit that is then they joined in the battle as everyone joined in except the three princess and Rarity until Applejack threw some cake at Rarity and got it on her dress Making her gasp.
"My dress oh it is on!" She called joining the fight too as Tempest ran over to Twilight and ducked behind a table with her as they laughed and nuzzled each other.
"I hope I didn't hurt you with the pie love it was just such a boring party" Tempest said as Twilight licked some food off her loves face nuzzling her
"It's a good idea Tempest now use that horn and help me out" Twilight said as they started firing at everyone before she smirked and aimed for the Princesses.
"Twilight you dare fire at me!" Luna said joining the food fight with Shining Amour and Rainbow Dash as Cadance and even Celestia joined the fight making many ponies gasp that every princess was having fun.
"Tempest you will never beat the sparkle family" Cadance called making Tempest duck laughing at the amount of fun she was having.
"I'm part of the Sparkle family remember" Tempest called seeing the 5 of Twilights friends firing at at her marefriend as she ran over and took the hits falling into Twilights hooves making her laugh and nuzzle her saviour.
After the food fight the mane 6,Tempest, Cadance, Shining Amour, Luna and Celestia where at Joes Donuts all laughing and remembering the battle as Tempest pulled Twilight away from the group and smiled.
"Thanks for tonight Twi I love you my princess" Tempest said rubbing heads with her lover smiling as Twilight held her hoof and kissed her passinately.
"I love you too Commander Tempest"
