A fun skydiving trip gone weird and wrong, a U.S. 'Citizen' skydives into Equestria to have the most fun experience of his life. But what if that Equestria wasn't the peaceful Equestria as everyone knows it...

A U.S. 'Citizen' crashes into Equestria after sky diving out of Cessna 182 which collided with another plane (Because the other plane's pilot is a drunk, shitty, asshole who shouldn't be flying a plane at all.) Thus said 'citizen,' is surely having a fun time in Equestria after some setbacks and misunderstandings, right? Nope, not really.

'Chances of plane collisions are 1 in 11 million, they said.'

"Are you ready to jump?"

"Yea, I'm ready."

"Alright, jump when you're ready!" The skydiving instructor shouted at the skydiver,in the middle of the howling wind, flying at 15,000 feet above ground in a small Cessna 182-Skylane.

Meanwhile, that one single lone skydiver, was a US Marine, a Master Gunnery Sergeant that was honestly discharged, that goes by the name of Christopher E. Clark, or as some call him, Chris. Chris fidgeted with his parachute, waiting for the skydiving instructor to give him the green to jump.

"Its not like I have jumped out of a plane already." Chris thought.

"Oh Shit!" The instructor shouted, "What the hell is that pilot doing?"

Chris turned to his left to see another small bush plane flying up and heading on a collision course for the tail of the Cessna 182 he was in, being frightened by how close it was.

"Jump! JUMP!" the instructor shouted.

Chris jumped, and started free falling 20 feet before he felt the heat and heard the faint explosion over the wind of the bush plane and Cessna 182 colliding and exploding.

"That shit was way too close for my likings." Chris thought to himself when he saw dark clouds, buzzing with lightning, under him.

"What the... I didn't see any thunderstorms on the way here... and wasn't the sky clear just recently?"

Chris braced himself as he was pelted with rain as he flew through the cloud, slightly cringing when he heard thunder and lightning exploding in his face faintly over the loud whistling of the wind and the rain. He kept in a free-falling position, and he closed his eyes for a few moments before opening them again, to see a bright light blue swirling vortex in front of him.

"Oh shit! What the fuck is this?"

Chris fell into the vortex, and came out on the other side into a bright, sunny, clear, warm sky. He shook his head from this new environment he was in, before looking down and around to check his surroundings. He could see a dark, dense forest below him, a quaint village to the Southeast of him, and a small but tall mountain range just shortly due west of the quaint village.

That was when he looked up the mountain, and gawked at the sight of a bright, shiny, city, that was defying all the odds and laws of physics sitting on the east side of the mountain.

"How is that possible?" Chris asked himself, before looking north of him to see more physics-defying bullshit. A faraway city entirely made of clouds, with rainbows 'pouring' out the bottom of the city. Chris squinted his eyes and saw some colorful blobs flying in and out of the city.

"I don't even want to question that now." Chris thought to himself before looking down to see the forest treetops rushing towards him.

"Well, gotta pop my parachute now." Chris thought to himself as he pulled the cord that would release the parachute that would slow his descent.

Nothing happened, as Chris kept tugging at the cord frantically to stop himself from smashing onto the forest floor. Chris decided that he might as well activate the emergency parachute, moving his hand away from the brown-colored cord to the red emergency cord before pulling it.

WHOOSH!

A small parachute popped out, but due to its small size, and the fact that Chris was rocketing towards the ground at terminal velocity, Chris crashed into the tree tops, smashing and crashing through many tree branches before abruptly getting stopped by a big, strong branch.

"Ooh, that hurts" Chris wheezed, as he grabbed the tree branch to get a grip on it to not slip down even further. Chris shook his head, before puking, throwing up the remains of the lunch he ate before getting on that plane to go skydiving.

After managing to get the little puke liquid out of his mouth, Chris turned to his right to see that the branch started creaking, before snapping off the tree.

"Heeeeeeeeellllp!" Chris screamed before he hit another branch, being knocked unconscious.

Meanwhile In Canterlot....

It was 4:20 P.M.
Princess Empress Celestia, the demigoddess of the sun, the divine and purely beautiful monarch of the Holy Equestrian Empire,(And known as many other names.) put the joint cup of tea onto the table after taking a long drug trip sip of tea. She looked up and at the sky above the Everfree Forest, while pulling out a blank scroll, a inkwell, and a enchanted feather and started writing:

Dear Twilight Sparkle...

It has come to my attention that I have sense a disturbance in the magical field, particularly a strong magic spell of some sort being used in the airspace above the Everfree Forest.

I want you and your friends to go investigate the magical disturbance to see and check if nothing dangerous has arrived or awoken.

I am also sending with you a squad of soldiers from the 2nd Grand Equestrian Army to escort you if the situation of a dire trouble arises...

Chapter 1
Into the Forest

Chris groaned, shaking his head as he looked around to take in full consideration of his surroundings.

First off, he was hanging in a tree branch, about 12 feet above the forest floor.

Secondly, his emergency parachute, torn and ripped, was caught on some leafy and sharp branches.

Thirdly, there were fucking wolves made out of WOOD barking at him, trying to sink their teeth into his legs or foot to drag him down from the tree as their meal.

"Fuck off wolves!" Chris shouted at them. The wolves seemed fazed for a few seconds, before continuing their annoying and repetitive bark-ing (Ha Ha, get it, 'Bark'-ing! Because they're made of wood. No, its time to stop with this.)

10 minutes passed, and the wolves had stopped barking, now just laying at the spot below where Chris was.

"Fucking wolves. I wonder if they're flammable?" Chris said softly to himself.

Suddenly, lots of crashing and noises started coming out of the trees above. Chris looked up, his face turning to horror.

A huge piece of metal plating/body came flying out of the trees above, crashing into the wolves below him, crushing several while scaring the few still alive away.

"Holy shit! What... the fuck was that...whatever, that was pretty convenient." Chris said to himself, before examining the huge piece of scrap metal.

It had blue and red lines painted/spray-painted on its body, with a serial code: N223IF on it. That piece of metal was from the Cessna 182-Skylane Chris was in.

Chris sighed, before thinking to himself, "Now where is that release cord?".

Just like that, another piece (A smaller one, though.) crashed into the forest, cutting the emergency parachute's line that were attached to the skydiving pack Chris was wearing. Chris came tumbling onto the forest floor.

"OOF!"

Chris said as he bursted into blocky pieces, while a 7 year old kid was screaming in the background groaned, rubbing his sides as he slowly got up.

"Well, that's one way to get out of that situation." Chris said to himself. He pulled the parachute harness off his skydiving suit, and then the red skydiving suit he was wearing himself as to not stick out of the forest environment. He ended up wearing a forest green shirt and some dark green cargo pants.

"Don't know how I managed to slip on that skydiving suit with some cargo pants now, but I'm glad that I managed to do that." Chris remarked.

Chris started to head southeast slowly and steadily as he thought that maybe that village has people that could help him back him.

He stepped over a tree root, and ducked under a branch as he walked slowly due Southeast, looking for things that could help him in this environment.

'Man this is one hell of a shithole, especially with wooden wolves running around, is pretty strange and weird by itself.'

Chris then took one step up a rock and tripped over something blocky in the process.

"Gah!" Chris said, before regaining his balance.

Chris then turned around and looked at what tripped him, which was a dark-green rock. Chris examined it more closely, to end up realizing it was some box of some kind. Chris squatted down, and started to pull on the box. Chris pulled and grunted, until it slowly came out.

"What's this, eh?"

Chris inspected the box, and started dusting overgrowth, dirt, and moss off the box when he saw some small, but faded, white letters.

"U.S.-Mi-ita-y..." Chris read aloud, and then he decided to open the box.

Chris dusted off some more dirt to reveal the lactches to the box (Or I should say Locker.), expecting some military-grade weapons in it. He lifted the locker cover up to reveal a dust-and-moss-covered M4 Carbine with a suppresor and ACOG attached to it, 5 5.56 NATO Magazines for the M4, a military vest, some chicken MRE's, some broken glasses, a smashed bottle of beer (Probably Budweiser Brand.), and a small box-full of Bang Snaps. Chris pulled the straps of the military vest on, clicking the snaps into place, before loading the 5 5.56 NATO magazines into the vest's frontal magazine pouches. He put the MRE's into the remaining pockets of his military vest, and put the box-ful of Bang Snaps into his pocket.

'That was a convenient find. Having a weapon and some food will help keep me sustained for a while and will help me protect myself from those wooden wolves and any other bullshit mythical dangers that come to have me for breakfast.'

Chris thought as he pushed the box behind a tree, and continued on his way Southeast. He started looking upwards when single drops of rain started to fall, increasing in severity.

"Look like there's some rain today. Wish I had a hat." He said to himself.

He continued cautiously across the forest so as to not slip on wet mud, and stopped in front of a huge gathering of trees, all solidly growing right nest to each other! Chris then started to exanmine the gathering of trees, pushing away vines, ripping off branches, to reveal a metal surface beneath the tree.

"What's This?" He said, as he started dusting off dirt and dust, to reveal an Iron Cross, specifically, a German Iron Cross. Chris gasped, and started ripping branches to reveal the front part of an entire German Tank!

"Jesus, is that a Panzer? I think its a Panzer, from what I learned from History Class back in High School. Anyway, what the hell is a WW2 Panzer doing out here in the forest? Maybe I'm in Germany, and that this could be a WW2 Battleground that was overgrown?" Chris rambled about, before he heard a snap. He turned around to the source of the noise, safety off, aiming through his ACOG on his M4 Carbine.

He waited, in the midst of the rain, silently breathing, having steady aim, waiting. He hear a growl, and whispered to himself:

"Oh god, is that some sort of Tiger or something I'm hearing?"

A Manticore, of all things, jumped out of a bush and roared at him. Chris reacted, firing a 3 bullet burst at the Manticore's heart. Three suppressed whooshes, as three 5.56 NATO Bullets flew out of the M4 Carbine's Barrel, and struck the Matnicore's heart, slowing it down for a couple of seconds. Chris aimed at the Manticore's head, and fired one shot, clearly putting a bloody hole in its' head, and letting it drop dead to the floor.

Chris got up, and observed the Manticore, muttering something about the forest he was in a home to mythical creatures.
He popped out the magazine, grabbing it, exchanging it for a fresh magazines. He stuff the used magazine (That still has bullets, I mind you.) into his military ammo vest pouch.

"Welp, I best be on my way." Chris said, as he started again walking Southeast, looking back at the destroyed Panzer Tank remains before concentrating on the way in front of him.

Meanwhile In Ponyvile...
Twilight Sparkle, esteemed student of Empress Celestia, Princess of Friendship, bearer and leader of the Elements of Harmony, slowly walked down the stairs of her crystal castle to the big dining room on the First Floor. She yawned, as she groggily rubbed her eyes with a hoof.

Downstairs, and in the dining room, she saw Spike carrying out two plates full of hay bacon, in which he setted it down on the table which contained scrambled eggs, 2 bowls of oatmeal, 2 daisy sandwiches, and some tea.

"Good Morning Spike." Twilight mumbled, with Spike burping up a letter from Empress Celestia as a reply.

Twilight picked up the letter and floated the letter towards her and unrolled it with her magic, reading:

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

It has come to my attention that I have sensed a disturbance in the magical field, particularly a strong magic spell of some sort being used above the Airspace above the Everfree Forest.

I want you and your friends to go investigate the magical disturbance to see and check if nothing dangerous has arrived or awoken.

I am also sending you a squad of soldiers from the 2nd Grand Equestrian Army to escort you if the situation of a dire trouble arises that could potentially be of a harmful threat to you and your friends, as I am currently dealing with some riots in Baltimare.

Gather your friends quickly, my loyal soldiers will arrive at your castle anytime soon by the time you receive this letter.

Good luck out there.

Signed,
Empress Celestia, Royal Monarch of the Holy Equestrian Empire.

Twilight rolled up the scroll before taking a sip of tea.

"So what does the letter say?" Spike asked.

"Celestia is dealing with riots in Baltimore, and she wants me and my friends to go into the Everfree Forest to go investigate a strong magical disturbance there." Twilight Responded.

"But isn't the Everfree Forest Dangerous?"

"Celestia sent a squad of soldiers from the Grand Equestrian Army to escort and protect us if any monsters out there try to threaten us."

"Still, the Everfree Forest has been acting a little bit too quiet over the past few weeks, and that doesn't comfort me about going in. I'll guess I'll stay behind Twilight." Spike responded.

"Okay then.Actually, could you do me a favor Spike? Could you go get my friends instead? I got things to pack." Twilight said.

"Fine." Spike replied, before heading off while muttering about Twilight conducting crazy science experiments.

Back in the Everfree Forest...
Chris P. Bacon looked around, as he had stumbled upon a dirt path in the middle of the forest.

'Well, this path could lead me to that little village, or send me deeper into the forest. I'll keep going in a Southeastern direction then.' Chris thought, as he walked down Southward down the path.

It had been five minutes when he stumbled upon the end of the path, and a little tree hut sitting next to it.

'Somebody lives in these woods.'Chris thought to himself as he pushed the door in.

Chris bent over to peek in (Most likely by the fact that the door was about half his size.), and he saw lots of little trinkets, potions, herbs, various herbal equipment, African-Looking Masks, and a cauldron on top of a fire pit sat in the middle of the small hut. He decided to crawl through the door, and the height inside the hut allowed him to stand up with little-to-no difficulty.

Chris took a look around, and found nothing useful to help him in his trek southeast.

He crawled back out the hole called a 'door' and walked back onto the path, when he heard growls coming from behind him.

'Must be those bloody wolves from earlier.'Chris thought to himself, as he slowed down to a cautious pace, silenced M4 Carbine at the ready.

That was then, he saw them. Green, unwavering, evil eyes in the darkness of the forest. The wooden wolves slowly advanced, some of them growling or showing off their teeth to Chris as a sign of intimidation. Chris counted 6 wolves in front of him, two circling him from behind.

"Come at me!" Chris shouted, before a 7th larger wooden wolf appeared from behind the 4 wolves in front of him.

'Probably the Alpha.'

It bark-ed, and two out of the five wolves leaped at him. Chris quickly fired off a burst of shots, only injuring the first 2 wolves. The wolves behind him then leaped at him. He rolled to the right to avoid the attack, only having to see the wolves behind him jump and crash into the two other injured wolves.

Chris quickly aimed his gun, and pulled the trigger, letting lead fly. The first few bullets made a nice comfy home into two wolves, a bullet sadly missed it's chance to buy off a home in another wolf's head from passing through and exiting the skull.

"That's Right!" Chris taunted, before he emptied the rest of his magazine into the rest of the wolves. Two more wolves went down, the alpha managed to not get hit, and another wolf that was injured backed off.

'One left.'Chris thought, eyeing the alpha wolf.

Chris backed up slowly, while trying to quickly pop out the spent magazine to put in a fresh one. The alpha pounced him, knocking him on the forest floor. Chris grunted, dropping a fresh magazine and the m4 carbine as the alpha started swiping at his chest.

Chris quickly grabbed a small rock nearby him, and smashed it into the alpha's head, causing it to stagger and stop it's fury swipes at his chest. He kicked the wolf off him, and grabbed the M4 Carbine and the filled magazine. He quickly ejected the spent magazine, pulling back the charging handle. He then putting a fresh one in, releasing the charging bolt.

The alpha wolf, in the meanwhile, recovered and looked at Chris, half of it's head injured and one of it's eyes had lost it's greenish glow.

"You little sneaky dirtbag." Chris said as he fired a three-round burst at the wolf's head, knocking it over with its greenish-glow drained from its non-existent eyes.

Chris sighed, and looked at his chest. The alpha had not managed to attacc scratched his chest, but it had ripped up his military vest significantly, with holes that let his chicken MRE's, the bang snaps, and the remainder of his 5.56 NATO magazines fall out and get scattered everywhere during the scuffle. He started picking up all the items he dropped during the fight and placed it in a pile next to a tree. He grabbed a chicken MRE out of the pile, ripped the package open, and started to look through the contents inside.

"At least I have chicken."

Back in Ponyvile...
Twilight Sparkle was tightening the straps on her saddlebags when she heard a knock on the castle doors. She went up to it, and opened the door to reveal a squad of 8 Equestrian Soldiers (Mostly pegasi, but there were a unicorn and Earth Pony in the mix.) waiting at the front door.

"I suppose you are the squad of soldiers Celestia sent me?" Twilight questioned.

"Yes Ma'am. We are here to escort you into the Everfree Forest so you can observe the magical disturbance Princess Celestia told you about." the Unicorn at the front answered.

"Twilight!" somepony shouted.

The squad of soldiers stepped to the side as Twilight's friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spike walked up the steps and stopped in front of her.

"I gathered them all Twilight. I'm going to take a nap now." Spike said before rushing inside.

Twilight rolled her eyes, and then turned to her friends, where some of them were giggling a bit.

"Why were we called here Twilight? I got some napping to do as well." Rainbow Dash remarked.

"Celestia told us to go into the Everfree Forest to go study and find out the cause of a strong magical disturbance there. These fine soldiers will be escorting us if any monster threatens to hurt us."

"I don't think we need some soldiers to fend off a few monsters. We can kick monster butt on our own!"

Twilight rolled her eyes for the second time, before Applejack spoke.

"So what this 'magical disturbance' thingy ah' ya talkin' about?"

"We don't know, so we're gonna find out!"Twilight said enthusiastically, before they headed out.

20 minutes later, in the Everfree Forest...

"I like chicken." Chris P. Bacon Chicken said, eating some fried chicken in a KFC brand fried chicken bucket, surrounded by KFC brand fried chicken buckets and Chicken MRE Rations.

Wait...hold up...

*Papers rustle in the background*

That ain't part of the script!

"But I like Chicken. You can't complain about my opinion!" Chris shouted.

I ain't paying for you to go off on your shenanigans, now lets roll again.

20 minutes later, in the Everfree Forest...

"I like Chicken." Chris said, as he crumpled up the Chicken MRE wrapper before throwing it on the ground.

"Well, best get going."Chris said, before picking up the pile of things he dropped during the scuffle with the wooden wolves and carrying them in his arms.

Chris continued walking down the path before he ran into another military crate submerged in the ground next to a tree sitting next to the path.

Chris slowly and painfully dug the box out of its Earthly Confines, before dusting dirt off of the crate. He saw that there were rotting ropes keeping the crate closed and in one piece. Chris got up, and walked around, looking for a sharp and medium-sized rock to cut the rope open. He found and picked up a long and sharp rock, and managed to slice the ropes with little difficulty.

"Now what's in you, pretty?"Chris joked, as he lifted the crate cover off the crate, then peering inside.

The crate contained a bunch of partially-used notebooks, a smaller box that contained 12 pencils, 2 black pens, 1 highlighter, some scissors, a glue stick, and a brown backpack.

"Eh, might as well." Chris said, as he took everything and stuffed it into the brown backpack, including the rest of the Chicken MREs. He managed to successfully put his remaining 2 5.56 NATO magazines into the torned remains of his military vest, and putting the bang snaps into his pant pocket.

'Man, do I feel like I'm going to school again. Old memories, old times. Except that I'm carrying a gun and from that, I look like a school shooter.'Chris thought, then shaking his head. He closed the crate and was going to leave the crate by the tree when he heard faint chatter from the Southeast on the path, then clip-clop of hooves. A lot of hooves.

Chris hustled to about 10 yards away from the path, and started climbing a tree. Soon, he was hidden in the gnarly branches and dark leaves, but he had a clear line-of-sight on the path.He waited, and soon enough, a group of 14 ponies of various types walked by, talking among themselves.

Chris shook his head, before thinking to himself again.

'I definitely think I'm not in Kansas anymore. I don't even think I'm on Earth. Those wooden wolves, the manticore, and now ponies with horns, wings, that could talk verifies the fact that I'm definitely not on Earth.'

Chris shifted his position to get a better view on the ponies, and in the process, stepped on a branch that snapped off the tree and fell to the forest ground below. He realized his mistake, but it was too late. Immediately, he jumped back onto a bigger, stronger, and thiccer thicker branch and hugged the tree to stop himself from falling out of the tree. The ponies reacted quickly, their conversation stopping and their attentions quickly turning to the source of the noise. Chris pulled out his M4A1-S Carbine out at the ready, as the ponies quickly had their horns ignited and spears/hooves at the ready.

"Show yourself!" a pony shouted at his current location.

"Well shit."

Chapter 2
'Should I stay or should I go?'

Chris froze in his spot for a moment, hesitating and thinking of what action he should take next.

'Maybe they're out for me, or they were passing by. I should probably stay away from them for now.'Chris thought, as he slowly slipped the box of Bang Snaps out of his pant pocket. He watched 4 of ponies with spears slowly advance towards their position, as he slowly opened the box and took out one bang snap. He then threw it with a lot of force at the forest floor at another tree, at where the crate was partially hidden.

A resounding BANG! echoed throughout the forest, making all the ponies jump and some of them cower/flinch. Chris started to throw more bang snaps with greater force at it made the armed ponies drop their spears and cover their ears. Three unicorns stopped their magical glow thing with their horns and the rest of the ponies covered their ears as well.

Chris then jumped off the tree and ran into the forest in a random direction, with one of the ponies seeing him and shouting "He's getting away!"

Chris dodged trees and rocks as he kept running. He spotted a gully and jumped into it, while quickly pulling his M4A1 Carbine out and peeking through the scope. He saw that some of the guards had spread out near the path to look for him, and one of the unicorns had their horn glowing as it walked around.

He sighed in relief, as he saw the ponies walk back to the path and started talking with each other, before running off deeper into the forest.

Chris stopped at a clearing in the middle of the forest, with the sun's ray shining onto the grassy patch he was standing on.

'Maybe I should've handed myself in, as they could've brought me to some sort of civilization and help to get me back home...' Chris thought, before seeing a glint of some shiny metal in the grass. He crouched over it, and slowly pulled the grass to reveal a tank shell that was buried in the dirt. Chris immediately fell backwards, unsure of the fact that it could still be live.

Chris got up, and then looked at the shell.

'Looks like some kind of HE shell to me.' He thought, before getting up and continued heading southeast.

Meanwhile in the middle of the Everfree Forest...
"What was that?" Fluttershy asked quietly, as Twilight looked around the area to which the creature had made loud bangs to cover it's escape.

"I don't know Fluttershy, but whatever it is, I am willing to bet that creature caused the magical disturbance." Twilight replied as she caught something sitting on the forest floor. It was a small piece of white paper...that had little light-brown beads in them.

"What are these?" Twilight asked, and one of the soldiers came over.

"I have never seen that before." The soldier replied, "Maybe that's related to the creature."

Twilight picked it up, and wrapped it up in paper before stuffing it into her saddlebags.

"We should probably track down that creature. Maybe it was the thing that created the strong magical disturbance, and it may be a threat to Equestria."Twilight said.

"I'll kick it's flank when I see it again!" Rainbow Dash boasted, with Twilight rolling her eyes.

"Be on the lookout everypony. This is one creature that could make the discovery of the century!" Twilight proudly said.

Chris stopped to take a break, laying down by a river that laid in his path. He sighed, as he splashed water from the river onto his face, before taking a cautious drink of the water.

"Hmmm...not bad." Chris said, before he got up and started walking down the river's edge to look for some way across. He came upon a purple shiny, scaly rock.

'What type of rock is purple, shiny, and scaly?' Chris said, before poking it. Nothing happened, and Chris shrugged, before getting up and continuing his trek down the river.

The rock, however, slipped under the water as the big head of a water serpent and its eyes peeked out of the water, staring at Chris, before it submerged itself under the water to disappear completely.

Chris continued on his merry way, before he came upon a big hill next to the river. He started to climb it, before he tripped on a solid, edged, corner. He faceplanted into the dirt, muffling a groan into the ground.

'What the hell was that?' Chris thought to himself, as he picked himself off the floor, 'This better not be another tank.'

He descended a little bit only to come in front of a old, rusty, mossy, steel door.

'I wonder what could be inside?' Chris though as he looked around for anything that could open the door for him. He found a door handle on the right side of the door, and pushed it down with some effort. The door opened to a pitch-black chamber.

Inside the chamber, Chris tried to look around for anything of value, but it was pitch-black. He took a step forward before slipping on a cylinder-feeling object, before falling to the floor.

"Gah!" Chris yelped, as a faint voice shouted "K.O!" in the background.

He went back into the light, and observed the cylinder-like object. It was completely orange, and had a pin attached to the top of it.

'Nice, a flare. That'll help me for a bit.' Chris though, before heading back into the pitch-black chamber with his newfound temporary source of light. He pulled the pin off, and a bright, hot, orange, light spewed out from the top of the canister, lighting up the chamber around him. As Chris looked around, he saw five crates, stacked on top of each other, and a old-style crowbar stashed to one corner of the small chamber, a table to the right of him, and a closed door in front of him. He walked up to the table to see a old-style, small, flashlight laying on the table. He picked the flashlight up with his other hand and pressed the power button one time. His first attempt at activating the flashlight had failed.

"Please work." Chris muttered as he started repeatedly pressing the button of the old flashlight while the flames of the flare started to dwindle. He kept pressing the button until it had turned on just as the flare's last flames died out.

Chris dropped the flare canister to the floor, as it landed with a loud THUNK! noise on the concrete floor. He pointed the flashlight's beam around, to more slowly and carefully inspect the chamber he was in.

'Seems like some sort of bunker to me.' Chris thought as he saw some rusty black bumps installed in the buried 'windows' of the bunker, which were supposedly machine gun turret mounts.

Chris then turned his attention to the crates lying in the corner. Putting and holding the old dirty flashlight in his mouth (Who cares about germs?), he picked up the old, rusty crowbar before setting up a live-feed camera before annoucing the start of his unboxing video he pried the first crate cover off. Tossing the crate cover aside, Chris took a peek inside, before gaping at what laid before him.

Inside were 6 MG42s and a whole lot of 7.92×57mm Mauser ammunition belts and bulky magazines, most likely dating back to World War 2.

'Jesus...that is a lot of Hitler-Brand Buzzsaws.' Chris thought to himself, before he dragged the crate to the back of the bunker and pulled another crate towards him.

"This is going to take a while." Chris said, before he continued unboxing the remaining 4 crates. After 15 minutes of crate cover prying and item examination, he concluded his unboxing spree with that he didn't get any Crimson Web Karambits, but only found instead 6 MP40s' with 24 9x19mm Parabellum Magazines, 4 One-Shot Panzerfausts (Recoilless, Cheap, and Effective.), 12 Lugers with smaller, 8-round 9x19mm Parabellum Magazines, and a whole sack-full of Stielhandgranates. Also, a random shovel was included in the World War 2-themed equipment.

'Isn't this a crazy find?' Chris thought to himself, as he held up one of the MP40's up, inspecting how freshly-made it was.

'Should've deteriorated in quality from that long period of time. World War 2 took place almost a century ago anyway.' Chris thought, before looking outside to see that the sun was setting.

'I have shelter in this bunker, MRE's, water from a nearby river, but might as well gather some leaves and moss for a better night's sleep than laying on the concrete floor.' Chris thought to himself, as he left the bunker.

Back at the Edge of the Everfree Forest...

Twilight Sparkle was frustrated, as after spending a entire afternoon searching for that creature that had ran away and disappear. They had found dead corpses of some Timberwolves further down the path in a opening next to the trail, and found footprints of the creature that lead to a dead Manticore that had a few holes in it's chest and one bloody one in its head. She was greatly disturbed by the dead animals, and had assumed that the creature had done it and was very deadly. She couldn't say the same for Fluttershy though, as her friend bursted into tears when they had came across the timberwolf corpses, and cried even more when they had come upon the Manticore corpse.

The group of ponies started heading back to town, with the soldiers getting picked up by pegasi-driven chariots and sent back to Canterlot. Fluttershy was still crying, and she left the group escorted with Rainbow Dash as support to her little hut. The rest of her friends slowly left the group to go to their respective homes until she was alone when she reached the crystal castle she called her own home. She pushed open the castle doors, and was greeted by Spike.

"Hello Twilight Sparkle! How did your expedition go in the Everfree Forest? Did you find anything interesting, like maybe some alien space ships, or aliens?" Spike greeted her.

"No Spike, as whatever caused that magical disturbance simply ran away from us and disappeared." Twilight responded, leaving out the corpse parts.

"Oh! Maybe it's some superpower-wielding alien, that turns all invisible-like and hunts you down in your sleep." Spike suggested.

"Oh Spike, you know that aliens haven't came here yet. Or if they exist, for any of that matter." Twilight responded with a fake chuckle, "Also, Spike, get me a scroll!"

"Roger!" Spike enthusiastically said with pride, before grabbing a feather pen and scroll from a nearby table. He held it, before replying,"Aren't you going to tell me what to write?"

"I'll do the writing this time Spike." Twilight said, taking the feather pen and scroll from his claws. She started to write:

Dear Princess Empress Celestia,

Not much happened on our expedition into the Everfree Forest. Although we had come upon some creature, it threw white paper with rocks in it that popped, distracting us so it could get away.

We didn't see the creature in person after that, but we had came upon the corpses of a Timberwolf pack and a Manticore, and the causes of death points to the creature.

I'm assuming that the creature is dangerous, and Fluttershy was heavily emotionally affected by the deaths of the Timberwolf pack and Manticore. But that is all we really have.

Sincerely,

Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Twilight rolled the scroll up and let Spike deliver the letter to Princess Celestia via Dragon Flame before heading off to bed.

Back in the Everfree Forest at the end of dusk...

Chris dropped a big pile of moss and leaves into one unoccupied corner of the bunker, before packing it tight so it wouldn't fall apart.

"Isn't this comfy." Chris sarcastically remarked before laying down to try and get some sleep.

As Chris was about to fall into a deep sleep, he was certain that he heard a muffled voice in the distance.
