Hello there, my name is Twilight Sparkle

Firstly, if you are holding this up and reading this then please return my property to me very quickly as soon as possible even though I don’t anticipate ever losing track of this. Secondly you should probably stop reading right here and now because this is a journal, anything written in here is top secret and private.

Now then, that’s out the way so on to with my thoughts and ideas.

Recently I found the Journal of the Two Sisters which highlights and details the important events of Princess Celestia and Luna of course. After I found it I thought that it would be a very good idea for me and my friends to keep a journal of our thoughts and ideas and experiences, so this is more like a collection of personal narratives than it is anything else like a novel or a fantasy instead.

I decided to go first since I not only found the book but I’m also a princess, and an alicorn, so yeah, I would say that life is going pretty good for me right now.

Anyhow this is only my first thoughts and ideas, so please stay tuned for more!

Hey there, the name’s Dash, Rainbow Dash.

And I am the most epic awesome radical amazing best pony ever.

I’m also probably the fastest Pegasus that you’ll ever see, and that’s because I have wing power that’s over sixteen, yeah, you heard me right, over sixteen.

And I’m not bragging or exaggerating either, that’s the real honest truth.

I mean I do brag a little, or I used to, I try not to do that so much anymore.

Anyhow life is very good for me too, I have the best friends in the whole entire world and I’m also the best pony ever and I’m even a mentor and teacher too.

I don’t really have that much more to say because honestly I’m not going to put anything girly, stupid or silly in here, no way. You’re only going to hear all the epic amazing radical awesome stuff that I do. Anyhow that’s all for now, bye.

Oh! A journal! How exciting! Can I tell you about the secret people watching us since this is a secret book? Oh wait Twilight says that this is a secret book and that we’re not supposed to share it with any pony else, oh well, too bad I guess.

Anyhow life is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious for me.
Oh wait, Twilight says that this isn’t a word, but silly her, of course it is!

It’s a word you can use when no other word can be used, duh!

Anyhow this is really making me nervicited!!! That’s nervous and excited mixed in together just in case you didn’t know. Anyhow life’s great and good for me, the parties are al fun, every pony is smiling, Discord is himself, I can bend and break the Laws of Matter and Physics including the Fourth Wall, and there’s cake and pie too as well! Wait, did I write that last part down? Yes I did, should I erase it?

Nah, I’m sure no pony else will ever find it or understand what I’m talking about.

Anyhow I really want to go on with my thoughts and ideas and other various random stuff just like any pony else, but I would have to get a whole new journal for that since this is going to be shared by me and my other friends too.

Anyhow that’s all for now so goodbye and oh! Cake and Pie are here to eat now!!!

Well I’ve gotta say I was mighty honored to hear that I could write about my life experiences and thoughts and ideas in this here book, I mean do you have any idea just how hard farming is? It ain’t easy I can tell you that much right now.

You’ve gotta make sure that you have the right seeds, soil, water, light, warmth, and the right seasons and times of day and year too as well. It’s a bit complicated for folks that aren’t earth pony or well-studied though. Anyhow I’m glad to get to chance and opportunity to write down my thoughts and experiences, but I don’t really anticipate me getting to write any stuff down too much with all the hard work that needs to be done back at the farm, but if that changes I’ll let you know.

Anyhow I think I gotta go back to work, see you later I guess.

Make a note to yourself to thank Twilight later for this chance and opportunity to talk about fashion because I want every pony to know just how much time, effort, work, and love into each and every dress at my store. Anyhow I just wanted to say that while this book may not be the best in fashion I do think it will serve its purpose quite well even if it’s only to record some old boring history.

Oh wait, that’s something that Rainbow Dash might actually say, or rather has.

Anyhow I’m far too busy with work right now to write anything detailed, but like the rest I will get back to it if I learn anything really important, so good day then.

This is Twilight again, I’m writing on behalf of Fluttershy.

She says that she’s really glad for this chance and opportunity too, but that she’s just too nervous to write anything down because she’s afraid that some pony else might see it, but no matter what I try to calm her down she just won’t listen to my logic and reason. Anyhow she says that with time she might eventually come to learn to write all by herself in this journal, so until next time this has been me and Fluttershy I guess, now then if I can only find where she’s hiding at…

Well hi there.

Honestly me and my friends were a bit shocked and surprised when Twilight asked us to write something down in this here book, but I guess that we learned something very valuable and well here we are writing it down now.

Anyhow other than what we learned I’m glad to see what my friends have learned even more because they can teach me just like I can hopefully teach others.

So no matter what any pony else tells you the past is always important.

I can’t believe I have to write in this boring old book.

But I guess that it’s not the worst thing that I could possibly ever do.

Anyhow I’m Scootaloo, the personal student of Rainbow Dash who is might I add the best pony ever, she’s the fastest coolest, most radical amazing awesome pony in Ponyville and no pony else has her loyalty and bravery too. I just wish that I could be like her, but I can’t even fly yet, but someday I will and when I finally do every pony is going to be so proud of me, including Rainbow Dash too as well.

Honestly I read what my friends have to say and I don’t have that much more to say at all, I guess that you should just know that I’m Sweetie Belle and that my sister is Rarity, and I think that she’s the best in the whole entire world even if she can get a bit too far carried away in her work and job sometimes.

Honestly I really didn’t expect the chance and opportunity to write anything down in this since Twilight and her friends seem to be the important ones.

But when I asked she said that I really should, and that’s why I’m here now.

My name is Spike, and I am an immortal purple dragon.

I’m not a very big mean nasty or scary dragon like you might have heard in stories, myths, tales, and legends, and that’s because I was raised by Twilight.

I lived with ponies my whole entire life and I never really knew the dragon culture at all, but I don’t mind that much since I’m very glad that I have my friends here with me now.

Anyhow I don’t really have that much to say, but if I do then I’m going to write it down and then you’re going to be hearing from me then. Well then until next time this has been Spike the dragon and I want some gems to eat now.
