Twilight has a family and husband but what are the secrets behind this?
Long ago before Twilight meet her 5 friends she got married or eloped is a better word. Two souls forbidden to see each other by their race. The daughter of the princess of friendship holding the love of eternal flame, connecting them together. Even though they were married they never lived together of fear of their parents. Once Twilight gave birth, Blade took her and put her off as his 'adopted' daughter. The story was he found her at her door step and everyone bought it.
At the halls of the Celestia’s school for gifted unicorns, 10 year old Twilight walked to lesson. She was heading to Legends of histories class. Opening the door she opened and sat at the desk near her best friend Moondancer. Then Miss Smile took the register and welcomed her class.
“Welcome class I hope you have a fun weekend!” Miss Simple explained. After everyone explained what they did on the weekend they began the lesson.
“Settle down everyone. Now in today’s lesson we’re going to be studding the cold war of bat ponies”
“Ooooo” The class explained.
“Now sit back children and let me guide you through the history of the cold war of the bats. Along, a long time ago, even before Princess Celestia’s. This event happened before and after the hearts warming tail were Smart Cookie, Clover the Clever and Private Pansy manage, with their continued display of friendship, melted the ice surrounding their leaders and incinerate the windigos through the magic of the Fire of Friendship. In the end, all the tribes learn that the warmth of harmony and love to each other can conquer over the coldness of hatred and grief. After the leaders settle their differences, they all finally live in harmony with each other while founding the new land, Equestria.” The teacher gestured her hoofs to the windows. “Sorry I’m getting ahead of myself so anyway back to the story. As the legend is told that Princess Platinum fell in love with the prince of the bat ponies called Steel Craft, but her father forbidden her to marry him as did his.”
“Miss that seems so cruel and a bit drastic don’t you think. It sounds like Shakeshere Pony.” One of her students said.
“Yes, your quite right but that’s what Shakeshere based it on” Miss Simile replied. “Now, let’s continue shall we. The two ponies were secretly seeing each other, going against their parents’ wishes. When the day came they were going to run away from each other but their parents separated them. We don’t know the specifics but what I was told that her father locked her bedroom so she couldn’t run off with him. Just to let you guys know the princess was only 17. After their plans were fell apart they parted vowing to ‘one day see each other again someday if not this life time then the next’. A few years later after the hearts warming tail Princess Platinum just got a arrange marriage to Seam Stone. After that, King Steel heard of this, he set a war on Equestria. It was the bloodiest war in all of time. King Steel died in the battle while the rest of the bat ponies disappeared into the shadows the movement of their Kings death.” Miss Simile turned seeing Twilights hoof. “Yes Twilight?”
“Miss there are a lot of details missed out is there a book I could borrow?” Twilight asked
“I’m just giving you a base line of the story before we get on to study it in more depth for each stage of events but if you want to learn more you I can lend you one of my books if you like?”
“Thanks Miss Simile”
“No problem” Miss Simile turned to the white board displaying the images of the story. “Anyway after that, things started to happen like the chaos king that ruled the land. Or when Celestia started her reign. Or the legendary war with a place made of crystals. Or the legend of the night Princess and corruption. Actually it’s because of the night princess that bat ponies and ponies started to begin a relationship again. Bat ponies loved the night. When a report of bat ponies were spotted, the night princess went to investigate. She found them. Many equestrian ponies also known as day ponies were holding torches of fire to them. Then the night princess protected them. The King Blast the 3rd offered her guards and created an alliance only with the night princess (not Celestia). She agreed. The two royal sisters who ruled over the magical land of Equestria. The elder sister used her powers to raise the sun, while the younger sister brought out the moon at night. The younger sister became resentful because the ponies of Equestria relished daytime but slept at night. One night, she refused to lower the moon. She transformed into Nightmare Moon, a "wicked mare of darkness," and vowed to shroud Equestria in eternal night. Her sister used the Elements of Harmony to banish her to the moon, and took on responsibility for both sun and moon. The bat ponies got angry at Celestia and ended the alliance. Bat ponies where seen as the enemy and the last war was shortly after that it only lasted 5 years. There are still reports of bat pony sightings even today. Hey, maybe one of you might see a bat pony. Now any questions?” Miss explained
“Miss what is so special about these bat ponies?” “Why do we keep going to war with them? “Can we meet one?” “Is there any other legends surrounding this topic?”
“Calm students. Now first they are special because of the powers of night. They are part bat, able to fly faster than the average Pegasus. They can see in the dark. They can use the moon to use magic like are unicorns. There are some rare cases where a bat pony don’t have wings but have the same power but can manipulate the earth. However there is no known sightings of bat ponies with unicorn horn and bat wings. They said if they did they can use magic at day. Also the other reason is they drink blood to survive and love conflict and war. Anyway we go to war with them because… I don’t know just infortune events a guess. And no we can never meet them because it’s forbidden plus I don’t know where they are. The last report of a sighting was 4 years ago. There is a legend that the daughter of bats and magic/friendship will come to darkness, bringing a new drawn to Equestria when all is at peace” Out of the blue the bell rung. “Off to your next class. Bye!” All left Miss Smile’s room saying there byes.
The sun shone brightly, the birds were chirping, the sky was clear, the flowers were in bloom. All seemed perfect. Twilight was up in her castle looking down upon Ponyville as ponies walked going about their regular daily routine. Rarity was off doing some business in Manhattan. Applejack and Pinkie were having an apple pie family reunion at the pies. Rainbow doing some training with the other wonder bolts. Fluttershy was spending the day with Discord. And finally Starlight and Spike are going to the changeling kingdom with Sunburst, leaving Twilight alone in her ginormous castle. All was quite. Until I knock at the door.
Carefully pecking though the door’s eye piece, Twilight spotted two figures standing at the door step. The first figure was a tall, dark, blue stallion. He had a black mane and tail with a strip in the middle coloured blue/purple. The dark blue stallion had the wing size of a Pegasus but were of a bat shaped. Two fangs were sticking out from his long hoody. The second figure was a small unicorn with the same type of wings as the blue stallion. She was a light shade of purple with multi coloured mane/tail with dark pink, dark blue, black, white and purple. Also she too had two fangs.
Quickly, Twilight opened the door, dragging the two figures inside, quietly closing the door behind her. As she let go of the two figure, they took off there black clocks revealing themselves. The two figures placed their clocks on the rack next to the door. Suddenly, the smaller figure jumped on twilight giving her a big hug.
“Mummy I’ve missed you soooooo much, why couldn’t I see you sooner?” Gently placing down her daughter, Twilight calmly explained.
“I’m sorry Moonlight Star but you know we must hide our family, you understand. If anyone found out_” Taking another breath, looking at her daughter. “Star_ me and your dad’s union wouldn’t be accepted. We tried before but-“Taking a breath and cringing at the thought of Twilight’s first attempt to inform her parents about the marriage. ”it didn’t turn out as we planned.” Twilight turned to Blade. “Blade you going say anything.” Blade walked beside twilight placing a hoof on her shoulder. Both the parents remembered confronting their family, trying to shake off the memory.
“Your mother is right, we must keep this a secret or yours and our own protection.” Blade said sharply. Twilight and Blade hugged their daughter tightly in a tight embrace.
“Hey, doesn’t Spike know about this?” Looking around the room, Star saw no Spike. “Hey, where is Spike by the way?”
“Spike is on a trip with Starlight and Sunburst to visit Thorax. I can’t wait to hear how the changeling kingdom is holding up, after everything that has happened. And Moonlight” Twilight sighed. ”Spike doesn’t know, I never told him or anyone in fact.”
“Why haven’t you told him yet?” Stomping her hoof. “Why he is going to find out anyway so why not tell him now? Why do you both keep me a secret?” Moonlight shouted. “Don’t you care about me?”
Blade interrupted “Stop it young lady and go to your room now!”
“But_”
“NOW!”
“FINE! I’LL GO BUT IT DOESN’T CHANGE THE FACTS THAT YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT ME!” Stomping her with rage she headed to her room. The two parents stood in silence for a few minutes, remembering the time they told their parents. As the door shut, the 2 parents looked at each other before Twilight jumping on Blade with a huge hug.
“I missed you so much” Twilight whispered in his ear.
“I missed you too” Blade replied wrapping his hoofs round her and gave her a kiss on the check. “But hey we get 2 full weeks to not worry about others and just think about us as a family. Don’t worry about Moonlight she will come around but she made a good point”
Twilight lift her hoofs off Blade and smiled. “What’s that?”
“Well is that we should tell Spike and why can’t we tell others most of the bat kingdom respects you enough? Also you are now royalty so the nosy nobles have nothing. Plus the war was 1000s of years ago so maybe it’s good to unity the 2 kingdoms with are marriage that we already have” Twilight walked a few steps away and turned her, head facing Blade.
“ARE YOU CRAZY?” Twilight shouted.
“No!” Blade whimpered.
“Tell me what part of you think that’s a good idea?” Twilight glared at Blade making Blade frighten remembering not to get on her bad side.
“Ummm…”
“NO OF CORSE WE CAN’T DO YHOU RELISE THE SCANDLE IT WOULD IF WE CAME OUT WITH THE TRUTH OR THOSE HORRIABLE NOBELS THAT COULD USE THIS AGAINST US! HUH, TELL ME WHAT MADE YOU THINK OF EVEN SUGGESTING IT!” Twilight continue to glare directly at Blade.
Careful Blade spook not taking his eyes off his wife. “Now Twilight what would happen if other ponies heard the shouting. Let’s get some tea and I will explain what I planned.”
The couple went to the dinner room. Twilight and Blade got some tea and sat down. Blade spoke softly. “Now honey are you calm?” She nodded. “Now that you are calm and wouldn’t try and rip my head off-“Twilight smirked at Blade. “Now here is my basic of a plan” Handing Twilight a list.
1. Request an alliance with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna permeably. 2. Ask for arrange marriage with Twilight to confirm it. 3. Twilight and I live in the bat kingdom and visit Twilight’s friends weekly. 4. Spike comes to live with us. 5. Starlight continues being Twilight’s student. 6. We live happily ever after!
After looking at it she put the paper down on the table. “Bahahahahahahahahahahaha you think things will go that way there are too many variable missing bahahahahaha.” Blade put on a grumpy expression.
“Not funny”
“Oh I needed that” Twilight stopped laughed and smiled. “I still wonder how you are a king.”
“And you a queen” The couple laughed and slowly the laugher die down. Looking outside. “Oh look how late it is” Blade said sarcastically
“Yeah you’re right and I’m tired” Twilight smirked.
“I guess we got to get to bed now”
“Oh no I don’t have a spare bed so I guess you could use my.”
“You are not shuttle in the slightest.”
"We have a 8 year old daughter and we are still in are 20s so..... Ok I got no excuse lets go to sleep" The couple went off to their bedchamber and fell asleep hoping for a better tomorrow.
