A night to remember
It was dark at night, the full moon was shining over the city, cold winds was howling through the air as the music pulse alongside. Wait, music? Yes music, because at the Canterlot high school, a Halloween costume party was in full swing. The school was decorated with many Halloween decoration thanks to a certain party girl. Many people were there wearing a variety of costumes. From monsters to celebrities to heroes to villains and other misc costumes. In the gym was a dance party and a large stereo system at the stage being played by Vinyl Scratch, who is rocking a vampire costume.There was also a table full of various Halloween-themed snacks and drinks. At some of the classrooms, people was watching horror films from the latest to the classics and the top-rated movies. And outside on the field, various carnival games was set. And speaking of games, a certain farmer girl and a rainbow haired athlete was having themselves an apple bobbing contest.
"We have a winner!" Shouted Pinkie Pie wearing a mummy costumes. Looking at the two buckets of water, you'd see that Rainbow Dash's had a few apples left, while Applejack's was void of apples.
"Dang it!" Rainbow dash said wearing a lab coat stained with various color stains and equipped with a fake syringe full of different colors (Try to guess the reference), "I was so close to beating you."
"Come on Rainbow," Applejack said wearing a native American costume, "this is just for fun."

"Honestly Rainbow," Rarity said wearing an Arabian nights princess costume, "you can be so competitive sometimes."
"Hey, you did your best and that's all that matters," Pinkie Pie said trying to cheer her up.
"Yeah, I guess," Rainbow said feeling a little better, "Anyways is Sunset here yet."
"Nope," Applejack said looking around for their fire-haired friend.
"I don't see her anywhere," Fluttershy wearing a fruit bat costume and is also looking for her.
"What's taking her so long?"

The girls then went inside to the gym. Becky G - Problem (The Monster Remix) was currently playing and everyone was having the time of their lives. Just then, they heard a familiar voice. Turning to the source they see Twilight Sparkle wearing a sorceress costume with Spike alongside wearing a black cat costume.
"Twilight, you made it!" Sunset said, happily to see her friend, "I thought you weren't gonna come."
"Yeah," Spike said, "It took some convincing to get her to come."
"Sorry to make you worry," Twilight said.

They continued their conversation as the music continue to play. Right now, Michael Jackson - Thiller was playing and if you look around the dance floor you see that some people were actually doing the thriller dance, some more successful than others.
"I'll be back girls," Sunset said, "I just gonna get myself a drink." With that, she left the group and went over to the table full of food and drinks. "The Dazzlings are here," all the girls looked at her in shock.
"They're back!? How do you know?" Rarity said.
"I bumped into Adagio when I was getting a drink."
"I was wondering when they were gonna show their faces," Rainbow said, "I bet they got their powers back, didn't they?"
"No, they didn't, and if they did they probably would have used it by now," Sunset said.
"Well, where are they?"
"Adagio is in here in the gym, Aria is watching a movie, but I don't know where Sonata is. She told me they lost her."
