Ponyville has no shortage of unique ponies and Cogspin was no exception.

Ponyville is filled with many unique ponies. You have the flower sisters who are scared of nearly everything, than you have the group of friends known as the elements of harmony. But there is a stallion that lives near the edge of town where he has his own little workshop. His name is Cogspin, and to the ponies of Ponyville known as the mad inventor. And there is a good reason for that. But that is for you to find out.

The JM-001 project.

View Online

'Come on... come on...!!' I thought as I was working on my new and improved JM-001 or simply Jet Mobile number one! But as you might expect there are quite a bit of problems with it, for one the Magic cell that I use to power the jet gem engine has the habit to ehrm... overheat or to break down, or in a worst case scenario to explode. Which hasn't happened yet! That is good, I don't want to lose my workshop for I don't really have the bits to pay for repairs. BUT when my JM-001 goes on the market and becomes worldly used I will be rich~! Yet I'm still here stuck working on the same project for over five years, and I still haven't managed it to make it work. But I feel lucky today, for it is time for a field test! Of course I won't do it near Ponyville since last time I blew up the towns hall. I know what you're thinking.... It wasn't my fault that the jet gem engine came off to fly into the building, but like most ponies around I think you wouldn't believe me anyway. You think I am but a mad pony, lost in endless research to reach the ultimate goal, World Domination! No not really....

But as I was saying I was on an open field near the White tail woods where I was allowed to test my -dangerous contraptions- without the chance of anypony getting hurt. But I am feeling confident that this test will be a great success, I feel it in my belly! I did a final check to see if everything was working as intended before strapping myself into the chair.

" Jet Gem engine engaged!" I yelled as my horn flared up as the engine started up, I let it run for a few seconds to get it warmed up and up to speed. "So far so good." I told myself as I placed my flying goggles over my eyes so I am at least able to see. As I looked at the temperature gage for the magic cell I noticed that it was unusually stable. "Alright, now to crank it up for take off!" With those words I slowly pushed the throttle up as the jet gem engine roared out as I slowly started to move forwards.

"It's working...." I said in surprise as I was clearly moving. "It's finally working!!" I yelled as I picked up more speed, looking behind me I saw the yellow and blue flame coming from the engine. my face turned from pure joy to determination as I steered the Jet Mobile down the hill to gain more speed and even a possible lift off.

"Here we go!" The JM-001 rolled down the hill as it picked up more and more speed. At the bottom of the hill I pushed the throttle all the way up making the engine roar with raw power. I've never felt so more alive than now. "Alright now for the final stage... Lift off!!!" I yelled as I shot straight up into the air. The force of the lift off pushed me into my chair as I struggled to reach the joy stick. you perverted ponies.... Which is used to control the jet mobile. Wind rushed passed my muzzle as I was honestly glad I had those goggles. But all that was gone as I looked down from the sky, Ponyville is so small from up high. It's almost like everypony look like ants... wait did you hear that? My train of thoughts were interrupted by a high beeping noise. 'Oh horse apples.'

My eyes quickly looked at the dash board of the Jet Mobile to see a red blinking light next to the magic cell gage that was now in the red zone, quickly looking past the chair I could see that the magic cell was glowing red. 'Why is luck never on my side.' I thought. And to make things worse, I honestly didn't expect I would make it this far and I have no idea how to land it, and even more worrying is that I forgot the breaks.

"This is going to hurt..." I said as I was suddenly launched from my chair as the JM-001 went up in an explosion of arcane energy. As I was -flying- through the air my mind was busy working on how not to become a pony pancake on the streets, then an idea came to mind. I looked around to see if there was a body of water somewhere nearby where I can drop myself into. And to my surprise there was! Only problem it's the pool where loads of fillies and colts were playing in the water. 'Oh even more horse apples...' Welp, here goes nothing. "Geronimo!!!!!!!" I yelled as I steered myself towards the pool.

Down on the ground, many ponies were out and about and some were even looking up to the skies as an explosion of magic caught their attention, especially me that was flying through the air which came from said explosion. Some even recognized me as they couldn't help but shake their heads and move along.

At the pool on the other hand there was a mare busy with the many fillies and colts that were enjoying the water. "Now don't run everypony. We don't want any slippery sliding here." She said to the foals as she sat in her chair overlooking the pool.

"Yes miss Lilly!" Everypony replied as they went on with their playing and swimming. Though unknown to them the ears of Lilly twitched slightly as she heard something call out to her. She looked around to find the pony who called her name. She kept on listening as the voice became louder and louder, the moment she looked behind her and up into the skies she saw a familiar face flying towards the pool. "Oh by Celestia.... Not again." She said as she stood up and clapped her hooves to gain the attention of the little ponies.

"Excuse me everypony!" She partly yelled. "Ice cream is free right now, each filly and colt gets one. Now go get them before they are gone!" And as simple as that, all the fillies and colts rushed inside to get their free ice cream. With now the pool completely empty she turned her attention to the skies to see me still coming straight for the pool. It honestly didn't take long for me to reach the pool, for when I hit it a giant splash of water shot up into the skies as Lilly couldn't help but sigh as liters of water washed over her.

Moments later as everything and everypony was wet from head to hoof Lilly was one of those ponies, her mane hanging over her muzzle as water drips from her ears and mane. "Cogspin!!!!" She yells out in anger as I float almost lifeless on the surface. Sure enough she pulled me to dry land and began to slap me in the face. "Why!" slap, "Do!" slap, "You!" slap, "Always!" slap, "Do!" slap, "These!" slap, "Kind!" slap, "Of!" slap, "Things!" and after the final slap she opens her eyes to see me looking straight at her with both cheeks swollen and red. Her eyes grow to the size of dinner plates as she quickly scoots away from me. "Oops, sorry. I guess I over did it." She added as I could do nothing but groan.

-Few Minutes later-

"You should have seen that coming Cog!" Lilly said in anger as she was busy using a
towel to dry her hair and coat, which was a lovely rose colored. Not to pink not to white, just perfect. And I'm here sitting next to her with an icepack on each cheek mumbling things that were inaudible to Lilly. "Now that I think about it, what happened anyway." She asked me as she was used the towel to dry her flank, which had a pinkish water lily with a center or yellow.

As my cheeks were less red thanks to the ice packs I managed to say something. "You remember that I told you about that thing I was working on?"

Lilly gently tapped her muzzle as she tried to recall what I told her. "I remember you saying something like that, but I forgot what it was... Sorry." She replied as she blushed lightly.

"Oh that's quite alright." I said to her waving my hoof letting her know that is was alright. "I told you about my JM-001! Or simply Jet Mobile number one, which can be used to travel long distances in a short period of time, with the use of a Jet Gem Engine powered by a magic cell!" I rose up to stand on my hind legs striking a pose, which made Lilly giggle. "Everything went according to plan, I even achieved lift off!"

"Oh my, that is incredible. How far did you make it this time?" She asked tilting her head to the side.

I sat down on my haunches as I thought for a moment. "I made it from the White Tail woods to central Ponyville which is, give or take, four kilometers?" I honestly didn't really know the exact number but my belly told me it's somewhere close to that. "But I was too busy with ehm... other things to really pay attention to the dashboard, and before I knew it the magic cell went into overload and exploded which brings us to the event that happened a few minutes ago."

Lilly couldn't help but shake her head, so we sat there for some time until we were interrupted by a rather large group of foals that came from the cafeteria all holding ice cream in their hooves.

"Miss Lilly, is he your special some pony?" Asked one of the fillies as I suddenly choked on my own breath, coughing rather loudly and using my hoof to pat myself on the chest. Once more Lilly only giggled and ruffled the mane of the filly.

"No dearie, we're just friends. We've been friends since we were foals, he's more like a crazy brother. A crazy brother with a thing for... well... things" When she said that specific line my heart started to hurt, is she just seeing me as a brother? Am I really that crazy? Sure I know I can get a little too excited when it comes to new inventions but I really who doesn't? "Yes he is a little crazy sometimes, but who isn't?" Thank the goddess, there is still hope for me!

I coughed a few times to gain Lilly's attention. "Well I better be off then, it seems the pool has mostly refilled itself which isn't surprising since I build the pump system!" I declared proudly. "Now that I think about it, I need to check up on the pump and connecting pipes for any signs of wear." I looked around trying to remember where I build it...

"Inside the small box near the edge of the pool." Lilly replied with a deadpan look on her face.

"Yes, I knew that... Ehrm, I'll be right back with some tools." With that I left Lilly and the foals to do their thing in the water, only to find a mob of ponies waiting just outside. "Greetings everypony!" I greeted them with a wave of my hoof, only to lower it as no pony was replying. "Something the matter?" I asked as they replied with growls and snorts. 'Oh curse my luck... Run!!!' With that thought I quickly made a mad dash for my house, as I was about to enter I forgot that I locked the door. Searching for my keys made me realize that they weren't there.... Bullocks.... And to make matters worse the mob of angry ponies was too getting closer. Double Bullocks...

A day at the pool, but not for fun.

'Why has luck forsaken me!' I thought as I franticly kicked my locked door in the hope it would at least break open before the mob reaches me. But all I got out of it was a pair of throbbing hind legs and a face full of dirt as my fist kick had send me face first into the ground. After several more attempts I remembered that I reinforced the doors due to my -dangerous contraptions-...

But it was already too late for me to do something about it as I heard somepony clear his throat to gain my attention. "Why hello there Smithy!" I greeted him with a wave of my hoof.

"I have no time for your games Cog, some of the wreckage from your invention landed right into my workshop!" He yelled out in rage as he snorts. "Do you have ANY idea how much that is going to cost me?!"

I tapped my muzzle with my hoof as I thought for a moment. "I'd say quite a lot since you have some expensive equipment." I nodded a few times. "But you should have thought of that when you came here, so I can't say I am to blame." I merely shrugged as he glared molten daggers at me. 'I think I shouldn't have said that...'

"Why you!!!" He roared as he was about to strangle me with his hooves, but he was held back by some of my fellow ponies. Well, -fellow- ponies... They were just as angry for scaring their foals or that some of JM-001 had fallen into their garden. Once Smithy had cooled down a bit he used his hoof to push me against my own door. "You better cough up the bits before I do something.... And no excuses, like last time that you had lost your bits in a freaky shark attack while walking in a forest. I know for sure that sharks can't come on land!"

I clapped my hooves as I held a deadpan look. "Seriously?" I started. "It took you four months to figure that out.... You can't honestly expect me to take you serious if it took you this long to figure it out." Smithy snorted angrily as I could feel him apply more pressure on my ribs, I had to come up with something before he breaks them. Then something came to mind.

"Hey look over there!" I yelled as I pointed into a random direction. "A flying shark! And it looks like his carries a bit pouch with him!" With dumb luck only smithy turned around to look where I pointed at.

It was quite amusing to see him look around like a foal who sees his tail for the first time, so I couldn't help myself but snicker quietly as some of the ponies in the mob joined me. "Hey where is it?" He said. Till realization hit him like a steam engine. "Wait a darn minute....." He quickly turned around but before he could do something I held a small box in my hooves.

"While I -love- to chat with you all, I have new plans to make and create. Ta ta!" I quickly pressed the button as the floor gave way for a pipe that runs under my house and workshop. As quickly as that I fell into the pipe leaving everypony dumbfound. But as I was sliding down the pipe I could hear Smithy cry out my name. But it soon died out as I continued to slide till I reached my secret underground workshop, which isn't much of a secret now.

"Ahh, home sweet home." I said to myself as I landed on the mattress I placed at the very end of the pipe, I've had way to many sore rumps from before there was a mattress. 'So much pain....' I thought to myself as I made my way to my rather lackluster -kitchen-, which consists only from a small fridge to a sink with running water. As I opened the fridge I peeked inside if there was anything edible but sadly nothing was there except for some out of date oats.... yuck. Closing the fridge I sat myself down in my office chair behind a desk filled with blueprints and concept work for possible future inventions.

Shifting through the pile of paper I finally found a book with a green cover. It was my father's -Book of Creations-, which contained some of the early works my father attempted to make.

Flipping through the endless pages I glanced at a picture to my right. On said picture stood a brown stallion together with a white mare holding a little bundle of joy that would grow up to be the worse inventor Equestria had ever know. "Oh, pops. Some wouldn't even believe it if I told them I was your son, the son of Mecho Cog the greatest inventor in the history of inventions!" I picked up a piece of cloth that wasn't stained with oil or grim and cleaned the glass covering the picture.

While I was going through memory lane I failed to notice that a certain pony found her way into my transportation pipes. With a yelp and thud I looked past the wooden frame as I finally noticed who fell into my -not so secret- workshop.

"Oh, thank Celestia you placed a mattress there." The pony in question said as she dusts off her coat and mane.

"Ah, hey Lilly." I waved my hoof at her which she returned with one of her own. "And yes, I had to many sore rumps from using the pipes. And to be honest I'm quite surprised you found your way back here, I thought I hid the button pretty well."

"It wasn't that hard to find. A giant red button next to your doorbell with the text, secret pipe button, is rather hard to miss." She replied as she gently made her way to my desk, clearly avoiding touching anything. I would do the same, some things are rather unstable... Anyway, I placed the picture back on the desk as she looked at me with her rose colored eyes.

I shook my head for a moment as I was clearly not lost in her eyes. "*cough* Then I think I should hide it somewhere else then. But what brings you here? Weren't you busy with the fillies and the colts at the swimming pool?"

"I was yes, but when a certain somepony decided to dive bomb the entire pool some of the pipes were busted, and since you are the only one able to fix them I came here to get you to fix them." She replied with annoyance dripping from her voice. "And above all that, I had to pay for all the ice cream the foals ate while I was busy not letting you drown."

"And with not drowning you mean slapping me in the face with both of your hooves till my cheeks were red and swollen making me unable to talk for a good ten minutes." I retorted

Lilly couldn't help but chuckle sheepishly while running the back of her neck. "I said sorry already you know?" She puffs up her cheeks as she places her rump firmly on the floor.

"I guess you did, and I kind of owe it to you for doing my -stunt- in the pool." Now it was my turn to rub my neck as I released a sigh of defeat. "Fine, I'll get my tools." So I hopped of my chair and went off to gather pluming tools. I was quite sure I need new PVC segments and some length of PVC pipe. It took me a good fifteen minutes to gather everything, I already sent a one and a half meter pipe to the surface along with the needed segments. And on my back hangs my tool belt slash bags too filled with everything I need.

As I approached the elevator I spotted Lilly already waiting inside, but instead of her annoyed frown she held a small smile.

"Well, I got everything I need. The parts have been sent to my above ground workshop."

She merely nodded as I pressed the button for ground level. It didn't take that long, only a minute or so while a catchy tune was playing inside the elevator. 'I need to change that tune, this one always gets stuck in my head....' Not a moment later a *ding* could be heard letting us know we arrived.

"Alright, you know your way out, I need to grab something to eat. My stomach is about to eat itself." I said to her, which she replied with a soft giggle.

"Alright Cog." She nodded as she made her way to the front door while I retrieved a dandelion sandwich from the fridge. "Oh, by the way?" She yelled from the hallway. "I found your keys! They were in this blue basked all along." Now I felt like a complete idiot, I left without my keys, thinking I lost them during my flight with the JM-001. Luck has never been on my side even with such simple things as forgetting keys.

"Erhm... thank you, I guess." I replied to her as I heard the front door open and close. Taking a bite out of my dry sandwich I walked into my other workshop and lifted the bag of pipe segments onto my back along with the PVC pipe. Once they were secure on my back I went through the back of my workshop which is easier since it's much wider than the front door. Eventually I approached Lilly who was still waiting in front of my house.

"Alright, I'm all set. Let's fix some pipes!" I declared as I started to walk towards the pool where all this mess started, as for Lilly? She followed along, and she made sure not to walk in my way while I carry things on my back. She had some bad experiences with stallions and things on their back, which were usually me. So.... yea.

The walk to the pool was rather uneventful as most ponies choose to ignore me, I even recognized some of them from the angry mob. But they ignored me all the same. I couldn't help but release a sigh as I continued my way. Fifteen and a half minutes later we arrived as the closed gate from the public pool. There was a sign on the gate, upon closer inspection it was a 'sorry we're closed' sign used when ponies are doing maintenance on the pump system, much like I am going to do.

"You got the key Lilly?" I asked her as she replied with a small nod using her hoof to unlock the gate allowing me and Lilly entrance to the now empty pool. "Let's get to work."

As I walked to the small wooden shed on the far side of the pool I immediately noticed a large amount of water. "That can't be good." I said to myself as I placed the pipe and segments outside. Unlocking the shed I opened the door only to see something that broke my heart, every pipe and segment was completely busted. Shards of PVC were laying about, while some were stuck in the wood.

"How's everything inside?" Lilly suddenly asked behind me causing me to release a quite unstallion like yelp.

"Don't do that!" I partly yelled back as I placed a hoof on my chest to reduce my heart rate. "And as for how everything is... quite bad. All the pipes are busted and I fear that everything needs to be rebuild." With that news Lilly looked somewhat down, and I honestly can't stand seeing her like that. "But!" I started which caught her attention. "If I start now I might be able to finish it within a day, possibly two."

I was once again taken by surprise as Lilly pulled me in a crushing hug while releasing a very cute squeal. "Oh, thank you thank you thank you!" She finally released which allowed me to filly my lungs with much needed air, I couldn't help but chuckle as she hops from side to side. It was rather obvious that she wanted to get this pool up and running. "I have an idea, why don't you get started while I make some delicious sandwiches. I'll make your favorite~!" This got my work juices glowing.

"On it!" I gave her a salute as I started my work on the destroyed pipes, removing them was an easy task. Installing the new once was going to be a little tricky, but I have faith in myself and my craftsmanship! All the while humming a song that suddenly popped up in my head. 'Why do I feel like yelling out that I'm an engineer?' I thought to myself but soon dismissed it as I turned my attention back to the job at hoof.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rp8hvyjZWHs

It didn't take long for Lilly to return with a plate filled with sandwiches while I was with my head wrinkled between several pipes. "Cog?" She called into the shed. "I made some sandwiches!"

"Sandwiches?!" I yelled out as I in all my excitement drop a pipe wrench on my muzzle. *Clank!* "Ow, by all that is mighty...." I gently found my way out of the maze of pipes as I used my hoof to hold my nose.

"Oh my, Cog are you ok?" Lilly asked as she places the plate gently on the ground before rushing to my side.

"Yes, yes. I'm fine... I dropped a wrench on my muzzle." I replied as I gently removed my hoof. "Luckily it's not broken, which isn't that surprising since I managed to come out unharmed after that explosion with JM-001." I gently rubbed my muzzle but winches as it stings quite a bit. "Scrap that, it hurts like Tartarus." I sat myself down on my rump as I suddenly felt something rater soft against my muzzle. Much to my surprise Lilly was holding a small handkerchief against my muzzle, this somewhat surprised me but soon dismissed it as something friends do for each other.

While we both were sitting there on the grass in front of the shed things were getting rather awkward, well really awkward. "Erhm, are you done yet?" I asked her as she quickly removes her handkerchief, but taps against my muzzle making me hiss in pain.

"Oh my, I'm terribly sorry. Here let me help you." She offered as she brought her hoof towards my muzzle once more.

"No, no. That's quite alright. It's getting better already!" I quickly said to her which halted her advance to my somewhat injured muzzle. "Let's eat those sandwiches first, I'm starving." She replied with a soft giggle as she grabs the plate with her hooves and brought it to me so I was able to take one. I picked a sandwich from the plate as I took a bite out of it and it was delicious~... no words can describe how good this was.

"By Celestia, this is amazing!" I partly yelled as I devoured the entire sandwich in mere seconds. This of course gained me a soft giggle from Lilly as she too was eating a sandwich of her own.

"Well I'm glad you enjoy it. Now you should have enough energy to finish the job." Her once cute and cuddly persona soon changed to one that I've seen quite a few times. It's her, get stuff done or I will make you swallow your tools for messing this up, persona which is no fun to talk to. So I shot her a quick salute before rushing back to the shed, and of course as my luck has it I trip over the footboard and roll into my pile of parts.

With a groan I pick myself off the ground and got back to work, now my muzzle and my back hurt.... could this day get any worse? I shouldn't have said that.

Just an easy fix.

After that last incident the whole restoration process went on rather smoothly. All pipes were reconnected and I tested the system to see if there were any leaks present, finding none I wiped a few drops of sweat from my brow with my hoof as I walked out of the shed and spotted Lilly standing near the pool. "Well, all is done and fixed. I tested the system for any possible faults but found none. So the pool is usable again."

"Oh, that is incredible. I'm sure the colts and fillies would be glad that the pool is open once more." She said with a small smile on her face slowly approaching me. "And I think I need to reward you handsomely. Don't you agree, mister inventor?" Her tone went from soft and cute to something I hasn't heard before. But I had no time to think about it as Lilly nuzzled my neck, sending shivers all over his body while filling my cheeks with blood, making my blush like a mad stallion.

"Lilly, what are you doing?" I asked with a drop of worry.

"Oh, I'm just rewarding this strong and handsome stallion on doing a good job with the-... WAKE UP!!" My eyes shot wide open as I couldn't help but blink a few times.

"Erhm, what did you say?" I asked her as she pushed me down on my rump looking deep into my eyes.

"I said that you did a good job with the-... WAKE UP!!" She suddenly yelled out once more. I knew for sure that I wasn't going crazy, because Lilly yelled twice that I had to wake up? I wanted to comment on her yelling as I suddenly felt a sharp pain shoot through my head as my vision began to blur. Slowly but surely my very own dream world faded away as the vision of pipes and cramped spaces filled my mind once more.

"Did I fall asleep?" I asked myself as I wiggled myself free from the maze of pipes. And sure enough the sun was just above the horizon.

"Yes, you fell asleep about fifteen minutes ago... I tried to wake you up but you refused to budge. You must have had quite the dream hmm?" Lilly replied as she stepped into his view. Sure enough a plate was balanced on her back as she looked at me with a friendly smile. "Well, now that you are awake. I've brought some dinner for you, you've been so busy that you didn't even bother to take a break."

I returned her smile with one of my own. "You know how I am, once I get started I just want to keep going till the job is done." I paused for a moment. "Speaking of which, I think everything is set and done." I nodded a few times as I did a final inspection of all the pipes to make sure none are lose or disconnected.

"Everything looks good so far, could you turn the valve open and let the water -slowly- enter the pipes? I don't want to put full pressure all at once on the pipes, they might burst."

Lilly nodded in reply as she walked past the door and to the left where the main valve was located. Using her hooves she slowly turned it open as water gradually entered the system. "Everything still alright in there?!" She yelled over the sound of rushing water.

She didn't get a reply from me instantly and a few seconds later I waved my hoof in the air, she didn't quite know what it meant but dismissed it as an ok! She continued to open the valve till it couldn't go any further. "It's fully open Cog, still all green in there?" She asked as she walked back into the shed. She saw me busy checking every pipe that could possibly leak, but soon I turned attention to her.

"Yes, everything is working as intended." I said in a proud manner. "No leaks and no explosions so far."

Lilly released a sigh of relief as she was honestly glad it was fixed. "That's good news, the foals will be glad that the pool will be open again. Though I need to ask the mayor to put a net over it so that no falling ponies can break the system, -again-." She shot me a quick glare which wasn't visible since it disappeared as fast as it appeared.

"Yes, yes. I understand. I will not try to fly and/or explode when in said air during flight." I raised my hoof into the air while placing the other on my chest.

"You pinkie promise?" She asked with a squeaky voice.

'Must resist!' I mentally told myself as I fought the urge to make a pinkie promise, I know that when I make it I would never be able to break it since I don't want an angry Pinkie Pie after me. A mob of normal ponies is fine, but Pinkie is a whole other story. "I can't make that promise Lilly, you know I won't be able to keep it." I replied to her with a somewhat saddened expression. "I rather not want an angry Pinkie after my flank."

At that sudden moment Pinkie Pie erupted from my sack of parts, yelling something about losing my friends... Forever~

Not a moment later as Pinkie disappeared back into the sack Lilly pouted at me making her lower lip quiver ever so slightly, "Pwetty pwease?" She asked in the most cutest way possible. "Would you do that for sad wittle me?"

I released a sigh. "I stand my ground Lilly, no way you can convince me to make that promise."

As soon as I said that her trembling lip and pout soon were replaced by an annoyed scowl. "Fine..." She snorted, but she later looked me in the eye. "I'm just glad it's fixed. But you better eat your dinner before I change my mind and eat it for myself."

My eyes went wide as I quickly made a nose dive for the plate. Once the plate was in my hooves I retreated into a corner eating the delicious meal. "Glad you like it." I only hissed at her as I continued eating.

It took me a good five seconds to empty the entire plate in my gaping back hole I call my mouth, I gave the plate back to Lilly who just made her way back to her home. Did I tell you she lives here near the pool? Well now you do! When she entered her home I left the shed and closed it up with a lock and placed the key in her mail box. As soon as that was done I left through the gate to walk to my lonely home, not that I minded walking through the night. I always felt somewhat at ease in the light of the moon, could be me but I couldn't honestly tell.

Much like my trip to the pool, the trip back was just as boring as my grannies old stick. I'm honest here, my granny has a stick in her living room nailed on the wall. I tried to ask her about it but she constantly refused to tell me. I guess our stubbornness is in the family.

As I walked through the center of Ponyville I came across a few taverns that were filled with cheering and smiling ponies. I would go there myself, but no one really likes me here. I can hardly blame them. And not to mention I don't have any bits on me since I left them at home. So with that in mind I continued my track home.
