A female changeling was laying down on the cold, damp floor of the hive. She panted as sweat leaked down her face and was too tired to even think about attempting to walk. A small black ball rested in her hooves. She looks at it between pants and proceeds to smile. A closer look at the ball and it turns out it was a nymph in the fetal position, sucking on it's own hoof.

"Oh...F-finally. I can't believe it I- *pants* I did it." She said to herself. The newborn nymph turns it's head toward it's mother and opened it's eyes. The young nymph had heterochromia. It's left eye was red and his right eye was blue. Heterochromia was as rare amongst changelings as it was amongst pony's. It also had small scuffs of hair, resembling a mane. Being a changeling with a mane was more rare than the heterochromia, but the mother didn't care. She was gonna love her newborn nymph no matter how different it looked from the rest.

"Now *pants* are you a *pants* boy or a *pants* girl?" She asked. She takes a closer look in between the nymph's hind legs to determine. It was a boy.

"A boy! *gasps and pants* A wonderful baby boy." The female Changeling exclaimed silently but proud. "Your father would have been so proud."

The female changeling brought the nymph closer to her heart. The soft, calm heartbeat of the nymph's mother calmed him into a deep sleep, but then something went wrong. After 5 minutes, the nymph couldn't hear nor feel his mother's heartbeat. The lack of his moms heartbeat woke him up. The nymph then proceeds to cry. Every second the nymph cried it seemed, the louder his sobs could be heard, but noling was around to help.
.....Or so he thought. For 30 minutes he was crying until he finally felt the heartbeat of a female changeling. He calms down and coos himself to sleep.

Queen Chrysalis held the nymph close to her heart, giving a warm smile as it falls asleep in her hooves. She nuzzles the nymph as it slept. She walks over to the female changeling, she uses her magic to hold the nymph as she checked his mom for a pulse. She didn't have one. She fell into cardiac arrest, and it was too late to help her. She then looks at the nymph as she disabled her magic and continued to hold him with her hoof.

"Do not worry young one. I'll take care of you." Queen Chrysalis said as she nuzzles the nymph again.

One Year Later

"Here Ezio. Come to mommy." Queen Chrysalis said while sitting down. Ezio, a now one year old nymph wobble onto his hooves and started walking toward Chrysalis. Ezio grew a little over the one year. He was a little taller than the average height of a 1 year old Changeling nymph by a mere 4 inches. He walks to Queen Chrysalis, wobbling a little as he made his way there. The second he did he tripped and fell. Chrysalis moves her hoof in front of the path in which Ezio fell to keep him from hitting the ground.

"Look at you. Only a year old and walking like a professional." She said. She receives a few coos. Ezio still had the mane on his head and it was still growing in. The thing was, the mane wasn't like a pony's mane. It was webbed and grey like most changelings, but it wasn't just on his neck. It spread to the back of his head ending with two bang like hair fringes being split by his horn. Queen Chrysalis leans in and nuzzles the young nymph. Ezio nibbles Queen Chrysalis' muzzle. His teeth and fangs had already came in, and they were sharp, but still his baby teeth and weren't as sharp as an adult changeling, but they were close.

"Ah, no biting." Chrysalis said as she moved her muzzle away. She then picked up the young nymph with her hooves and nose rubs him.

"Listen, I need to go for a little while, so you'll need to be here by yourself." Queen Chrysalis said as she put Ezio down as he cooed.

"You think you can handle yourself for a few minutes?" Chrysalis asked. Ezio coos in response, with curiosity.

"Don't worry, I'll come back. Just stay here okay." she said placing him down. She then walks out of the room of the cave. She then uses magic to place a wall of goo to keep him in. Ezio looks at the gooey wall and tilts his head.

"Ma-ma?" He called. Ezio began walking toward the gooey door. When he touched the goo his hoof bounced off. He starts chewing the goo, it didn't bulge. Ezio stops biting the goo and looks at the wall. He looks all over the wall and sees a few small opening, but none of them big enough for him to fit through. Except for one that was in at the near top of the goo barricade. Ezio then started flapping his insect-like wings. The wings were strong enough to get him off the ground, but they struggle is flapping them fast enough. Ezio only barely manages to flap his wings fast enough to get off the ground and flies through the hole, and the second he did he stopped and fell to the goo, bouncing off and face planting onto the ground. He gets up and brushes dust off of his muzzle. The red and blue eyed changeling's eyes widened with wonder. He never saw the outside of that specific room. To him the hive was gigantic, it could be the world in his eyes. The nymph wobbled and walked around the hive looking for Chrysalis. After 30 minutes of searching, Ezio bumps into a leg. A white leg to be more specific. That leg belonged a white alicorn. A very tall alicorn that was as tall as his mother. Her mane had different colors and was translucent, rippling and sparkling, so was her tail. The alicorn noticed something bumped into her hoof and looks down. Seeing the young nymph, she smiles.

"Hello little one." She introduces unknowing that Ezio couldn't speak yet.

"Well aren't you the little explorer." Queen Chrysalis said walking up behind Ezio. Recognizing the voice Ezio turns around as Chrysalis picks him up.

"Ma-ma!" Ezio said. Queen Chrysalis' face lit up with joy, Although she knew that she wasn't his real mother, but since he saw her as his mother, she couldn't help but smile.

"Your first words!" She says with joy.

"I never knew you had a nymph Chrysalis." The white alicorn said.

"Had him last year. His name is Ezio." Chrysalis Introduced.

"Nice to meet you Prince Ezio. I'm Princess Celestia." The white alicorn introduced.

"Prince?" Queen Chrysalis said quietly to herself. She had completely forgotten that if a queen has a son that they become a Prince. Prince Ezio did have a nice ring to it.

"Well, I think Prince Ezio would like it if we have that alliance, then he'd be able to feed off of more than just mommy's love." Queen Chrysalis said nuzzling the young nymph. Celestia smiles at Chrysalis' motherly nature.

"Than let us not waste another minute." Celestia said.

Eight Years Later

Ezio was flying along his mother. Queen Chrysalis was taking him to a new school. Ezio wore a white book satchel and a red bandana. Chrysalis gave him that on his second birthday, she even went an extra mile to stitch on a black lightning bolt on it. The school they were headed to was gonna be the school that he would be the first Changeling to attend since the alliance. The ponies had nothing against the changelings prior to the alliance. The were surprisingly welcoming of the Changelings. Although there was a good percentage of ponies who weren't so keen on changelings living with them, some even going so far as to refer to them as 'Bugs' or 'Buggers', but none of them had any teaching occupation. It was just, the changelings were fearful of sending there nymphs into a territory they were unfamiliar with. Chrysalis decided to have her son be the first nymph to attend a school full of ponies. Despite how much he didn't want to. They arrive to a school in Ponyville. Ponyville Elementary to be more specific. They landed in front of the entrance and entered the building. Ezio hid underneath Chrysalis as they two made their way to Ezio's class. Chrysalis had already made arrangements with the teacher of the school and they had Ezio enrolled. They made it to Ezio's classroom, and Ezio couldn't be anymore nervous.

"M-Mom?" Ezio called.

"What is it sweetheart?" Chrysalis asked.

"Do I have to do this? I mean, do I really have to?" Ezio asked.

"I'm sorry but, the other changelings are too scared to come to school with ponies."

"But, why did I have to come?"

" *Lowers self to Ezio's height* Because, If you attend a school full of ponies, then other Changelings won't be so afraid of having their nymphs attend schools like this."

"But, what if they don't like me? What if they just bully me?" Ezio asked looking down with a few tears developing in his eyes.

"Now don't think like that. *Holds Ezio's chin up* I know this is pretty tough for you. And I know that it's pretty scary to be in a new school, but think about it like this. If you do this, you'll be seen as a hero." Chrysalis said. That made Ezio feel a bit more confident.

"Okay." Ezio says softly. Queen Chrysalis smiles.

"That's very brave of you Ezio." Chrysalis replies. Ezio hugs her foreleg. In response she wraps her other foreleg around him and hugs. They finish the embrace and Ezio nervously opens the door and walks into the classroom. He heard a few words come from the teachers mouth, who was a earth pony mare with a amber color coat, a pair of black rim glasses, a cutie mark of a rolled up piece of paper with a blue ribbon around it, and a light blue mane. The words that came out of her mouth were 'new student', which meant they were talking about him.

"Oh! Speaking of which, there he is right now." She said in a surprisingly sweet voice. Every pair of eyes focused on him, making him very uncomfortable.

"Don't be shy. Come over and introduce yourself." The teacher said. Ezio slowly made his way to the front of the class, making no eye contact with any of the ponies. When he made it to the front of the class, he shuffled his front hooves shyly.

"It's okay, take your time." The teacher said. Ezio flopped his ears as he looked back up at the class. He takes a deep breath and finally speaks.

"My name is Ezio." He says in a quiet yet able to hear voice. Some of the foals were about to say they couldn't hear, luckily the teacher saved him.

"Nice to meet you Ezio. I'm Amber Breeze, your new teacher, and welcome to Ponyville Elementary." She introduces. "Where are you from?" She asks.

"I'm *gulp* I'm from Hive n-number one. School unit tw-twenty-four." Ezio said.

"That's very interesting. Thank you for introducing yourself, you can now go take a seat. There's an empty seat right over there." Ms. Breeze said pointing to the only empty seat in the class. The one in the back, next to a grey filly wearing a pink bow tie. He walks over to the chair and takes a sit. He began to unpack his satchel, when the filly next to him spoke.

"Hi, My name's Octavia." She introduced with a cute english accent. Ezio looks behind him and then points to himself.

"Yes you silly. Who else would I be talking to?" She said with laugh. Ezio looks away with flopped ears. Definitely from nervousness. The smile on the Octavia filly's face turned into a look of sympathy. After about two minutes Octavia placed a note on his desk. He opens it.
Your not that much of a talker are you? Ezio writes something on the back and passes it back.
No, I didn't mean to be rude.
P.S: You're. Octavia gave a confused look. Ezio then gestures to the sentence she wrote, that's where she noticed her mistake. She blushes and passes him another note.
So, You're really a Changeling? Ezio wrote back Yes I am. He looks in at the class. All of there backs were facing him. He quickly changes into a red pegasus colt with a black mane and quickly changes back. Octavia passes another note.
That is so cool! Ezio blushes at the comment.

Ten minutes passed before another note was passed. This time, it was Ezio who passed the first note.
I like your bow tie. Octavia blushes and writes back.
Thank you, I like your kerchief. Ezio couldn't help but smile. He replies by writing back, thank you. Octavia then writes, Would you like to eat lunch with me?. Ezio's blush got even brighter. He looks at her and nods.

It was time for lunch and the foals headed outside. While all the other fillies and colts ran outside, Ezio slowly walked out, still very nervous. Once he was outside, Octavia, who was sitting on a bench, waved at him. Ezio walks over to her and sits next to her.

"Glad you can make it Ezio." Octavia said. Ezio just smiled in response. Octavia didn't notice that Ezio's eyes were two different colors, and how his mane was styled. His mane was still webbed and grey.

"Mind if I ask, why are your eyes two different colors?" She asks. Ezio's nervousness slowly began to decrease, as he was now more talkative.

"My mom told me I have something called, 'heterochromia'. It's a medical condition that makes one eye a different color than the other. I was born with it." Ezio explained. Octavia couldn't stopped looking at his mane. The fact that it was grey, webbed, and resembled that of a ponies fascinated her.

"Is it okay if I... Can i touch your mane?" She asked. Ezio gave a confused look. "I'm sorry but, I've never felt a changeling's mane before." Ezio shrugged his shoulders and lowered his head. Octavia then began to stroke his mane. His mane was softer than that of a ponies.

"Your mane is very soft." Octavia said.

"Thank you." Ezio said. The two share one last smile and went back to eating.

School had ended. Ezio managed to make friends with two more fillies, a white unicorn named Vinyl, and a grey pegasus named Ditzy Doo, or Derpy, along with a pegasus colt named Thunderlane. As you make friends, you also make a few enemies. At one point in the hallway, Octavia was being bullied by some colts for being a 'blank flank' and for being and for being a 'Bug lover' whatever that meant (He didn't know). He stepped in and it didn't take long for it to escalate into a fight. Sure Ezio manage to win, but one of the colts sucker punched him, turning his blue eye black (right). Luckily, for this nine year old nymph, was being trained in Krav Maga since he was 6 years old, managing to maintain a green belt. Unluckily for Ezio, Ms. Breeze walked back into the classroom to see Ezio getting one of the colts into a hoofbar, so he had to stay behind in detention.

Chrysalis arrives at the school, and walks to the class. Ezio was sitting in one of the chairs with his ears flopped and looking down in sadness. She walks over to the teacher.

"I'm glad you could make it Queen Chrysalis." Ms. Breeze said.

"Please just call me Chrysalis." Chrysalis insisted. She sits down in front of Ms. Breeze's desk.

"Well, Ms. Chrysalis, I called you here because your son was caught fighting in the classroom when I walked in. He probably would've broken Midnight's hoof if I didn't step in." Ms Breeze said.

"Believe me Ms. Breeze, Ezio knows better than to do something like that. Has he told his side of the story yet?" Chrysalis asked.

"Yes, he said that Midnight was bullying one of his friends. When he stepped in he attacked him." Ms. Breeze explained.

"Okay, anything else I should know?"

"Yea, when I had him and Midnight apologize, he refused to." Chrysalis nods in response.

"Alright, I'll be sure to have a talk with him. This won't happen again." Chrysalis said. She walks over to Ezio and gestures him to follow her. Ezio does so. They were sitting in front of the school. Ezio held an ice pack to his eye, while still keeping a sad look on his face.

"So, your first day in a new school, and you already get into a fight." Chrysalis said. Ezio just lowered his head in shame and sadness. "And you did so protecting a friend. I'd be a liar if I didn't say I was proud of you for that." Ezio gave here a shocked look.

"You-you are?" Ezio asked.

"Yes. You saw somepony messing with a friend of yours and you put a stop to it. That's the kind of Prince that should rule upon the Changelings, I'm so proud of you." Queen Chrysalis said pulling her confused son in for a hug followed by a kiss on the forehead. The baffled nymph hugs back. Although still confused, he was happy to hear that his mother was proud of him. He couldn't help but smile.

Ten Years Later

Ezio was asleep in his bed chambers, snoring like a chainsaw. Ezio was Nineteen years old and the Prince of the Changeling branch of the Imperial Alliance. Over the years, Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna have made allies with The Dragons and The Griffons. Together they managed to live together in a large area now known as the Imperial Empire. An area consisting of a large amount of buildings and houses so a good 87% of the population had a place to live. There were a far amount of schools, doctors, blacksmiths and etc.

Ezio had grown up a large amount. Slightly bigger and More muscular than the average stallion or male Changeling. Even more muscle than most of the royal guards , which was saying a lot considering how weak changelings looked with the vast majority of holes in their hooves. His mane had grown in as well. It was no longer webbed, but was now a teal colored mane, largely due to the influence of Queen Chrysalis. It was styled in a way that looked half teenage like look, half military like style. He also had three claw mark scars going over his red eye (Left), two of which were long enough to be seen on his snout, the last one could be seen on his cheek, that he got from going one to one with a Manticore, who's head was on his wall. Luckily, the claws didn't take out his eye or shut his eye permanently, he still had sight from both eyes. Even though he could easily change his appearance to hide those scars, he had to think. Battle scars that don't look Bad ass? Said no creature ever.

Ezio continued to snore as he slumbered. That was until there was a knock on his door. He wakes up and drags himself out of the bed. He stretches his back and legs, popping them and cracking his neck before making his way to the door. He opens it. On the other side of the door was a white unicorn stallion. The unicorn had a mane with three different shades of blue, and was wearing purple armor.

"Prince Ezio, you're awake." The unicorn said.

"No I'm not, I'm sleepwalking." Ezio said. Ezio, like all changelings, spoke like he had two voices mixed together. (Search changeling voice in YouTube) The unicorn chuckles at his sarcasm.

"You might wanna get dressed, meeting starts in ten minutes." The unicorn said.

"Thanks for the wake-me-up Shining Armor, I'll be ready in two minutes." Ezio said.

"Sure thing." Shining Armor said walking off. Ezio closes the door and within thirty seconds was in his red dress uniform with a light blue crisscross sash which held a shield in the middle of his chest that donned the changeling's trademark emblem. He was in the bathroom, looking at himself in the mirror, making sure his uniform was squared away. He took pride in his appearance after all.

After a minute of adjusting his uniform, he walks out of his room, holding a book with his magic as he did. The castle he lived in was, like all castles, huge. He lived there with Queen Chrysalis, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, or Cadence, and her husband Prince Shining Armor. He made his way down the hallway as he did he looked around. Although he had been living there since the Dragons and Griffons became allies 3-5 years ago, this was all still new to him, but Changelings had always been quick to adapt to environments they're not used to. Ezio made his way to a double door, opens it and walks through. There was a large round table with eight chairs, two chairs placed together on four different sides. He goes and takes a seat closest to the window. Ezio had always been the type to always arrive early, even to events he doesn't wanna be apart of, such as these royal meetings. He puts his hind legs on the table and opened his book. The book was titled: Ignis Ascensionis, which was Latin for Ascension of Fire. The book was entirely in Latin, one of two languages (Besides English) that Ezio was fluent in. The other one being French. Ascension of Fire was a story about a war that broke out between two rival nations resulting in the death of an officer. The officers son named Cor Ignis, meaning Heart of Fire, decides to become an assassin to get revenge and help end the war. Ezio was on the seventh chapter, Et flamma non ardebit duplum lucida. A chapter that translates to, A flame that burns twice as bright. He began reading.

He was reading for about eight minutes, that's when he heard a door open. When he looked at the door he saw, his mother, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, a dark grey feathered griffon named King Darkcrest, his daughter, a white feathered griffon named Princess Softcrest, Dragon Lord or Princess Ember, a light blue dragon wearing golden, and male a white dragon with light blue scales wearing black armor. Ezio didn't really remember what his name was. Although he did remember it had the word 'Frost' or 'Ice' in it, as he was only of the only dragons to have ice breath rather than fire.

"Ah Prince Ezio, thou is here early." Luna said.

"As always." Ezio replied putting his book under his seat. "Mind if we begin this meeting? I've got some beauty sleep to plan to get back to."

"Don't we all." Ember muttered under her breath. The others sat down and began talking. Ezio never listened to what they were talking about because it normally only involved talks about plantation issues, Economics, and other things Ezio never really cared for. Ezio was never one to be political, but he still listened, just in case they ask him a question involving the subject. As they spoke Ezio looked to his right, at a window. He watched the city, watching the citizens, greet, mingle, socialize and a mare running for her life...wait what?

Ezio's eye manage to catch a mare seemingly running for her life. To a pony it would've been hard to see from the distance Ezio was from, but Ezio's eyesight was better than that of a pegasus, so for a brief second he managed to see a fearful expression on the mare's face, given the impression she was being chased. But by who? This was a largely populated area, so whoever was chasing her, the culprit was hiding in plain sight.

"Um, my apologizes for interrupting, but may I be excused from this meeting?" Ezio asked which got the attention of everyone sitting at the table.

"Any reason why?" Chrysalis asked.

"Doctor Whooves put the finishing touches on my blade, and there will be a line if I'm not there to pick it up. And you know how much I hate to wait." Ezio said. Although that sounded like a lie, it wasn't. It was because of the Manticore that he fought was 3 months ago. The Manticore shattered one of his swords during the fight. Doctor Whooves said he'd repair it, and make it stronger, but it'll take some time. Chrysalis was convinced. She rolls her eyes and says go. Ezio smirks and leaves the room through the double doors and back to his room. He closes and locks the door behind him. He goes on the left side of his bed and pulls a clothing trunk out from under the bed. He opens it and takes out some red and black clothing. He goes into the bathroom and walks out wearing a black and red robe. Not the kind you wear around the house. The kind you wear outside, complete with a black cape on his left shoulder (Assassin's creed robes for those confused). He walks over to a window and opens it. He flips the hood on his head to conceal his identity. The hood had three holes. Two for his ears and one for his horn. He then climbs out the window and crawls up the wall of the castle. Changelings naturally had the ability to crawl on certain surfaces. He reaches the top and walks to the edge of the castle. He looked to the left and then to the right. That's where he saw the mare still running for her life.

Who is chasing her? Ezio thought. He watched as she continued to run.

Best not to lose sight of her. He thought. He goes to the East side of the castle (he was on the West) and drops down grasping on to a ledge. He does so a second time, this time the ledge he grabbed onto had a window that showed the meeting. He dropped down instantly. Princess Ember's seat faced that window. Luckily, she was looking down at something so she didn't see him. Or so he thought.

He finally makes it to the ground and made his way to the north of the castle, where the mare was running. He runs toward a wooden box, hops on top of it, jumps off of that and grabs onto a ledge of a balcony. He shimmies his way to the left and pulls himself up. Once he was on the balcony's edge, he jumps up grabbing the end of the roof and pulling himself up. Ezio was now on top of a roof. He made his way in the direction of where the mare was running. Jumping from building to building to get there. He was no stranger to free running, this was something he was used to. After two minutes, Ezio managed to find the mare. She was backed up against a wall in an alleyway. She was terrified. Something had definitely been chasing her, the question was what?

As if his thoughts summoned his answer, a couple of stallions walked at the entry of the alley. There were five of them, all of them earth ponies. They approached her snickering. What their intentions were was unknown to him, but based on her reaction, it was nothing she liked.

The mare had her flank up against the wall, a terrified look on her face with tears in her eyes. A yellow stallion with a grey mane made his way to the mare. The mare, who was a white earth pony with a purple and green mane, began to sob as loudly as she could. That's when the yellow stallion pinned her against the wall, covering her mouth with his hoof.

"Hush now little filly. Do not scream *Chuckles* you'll only make it more painful than it needs to be." He said. Ezio made his way to the edge of the rooftop he was on, that was the entry of the alley. The other four stallions stayed back a few feet.

Perfect Ezio thought. He silently drops down behind one of the stallions, who was a dark blue stallion with an even darker blue mane. He taps his shoulder getting his attention. When he looked at Ezio, Ezio does the 'what's up' gesture with his head. The stallion does the same and turns back around. It took a few seconds for the stallion to realize that that, wasn't a friendly face. This time when he turned around, he met a powerful hook to the temple that knocked him unconscious without a sound. Ezio moves to the next one, a white stallion with an orange mane. Ezio didn't waste anytime tapping his shoulder and just chops him in the back of his neck, knocking him out too. The next stallion had brown fur with a black mane. Ezio stands on his hind legs and grabs the stallion, wrapping his hooves around his mouth and neck. Forcing the stallion to his stand on his hind hooves. Ezio drags the struggling stallion back and out of sight. He then gets him in the rear neck choke. Didn't take long before he passed out. The last stallion, a dark green one with a blue mane, was pretty close to the yellow stallion so the odds of him taking him down without detection were fifty-fifty.

Meh, good enough. Ezio thought. He moves in, grabbing the green stallion, pulling him back and hitting his head against the wall leaving a mark on both the wall, and on his face. Regardless, he was knocked out. The odds were in his favor, the yellow stallion still had his attention on the mare.

"This oughta teach you to stay IN YOUR PLACE YOU WHORE!" The stallion shouted revving back to punch the mare, only for something to grab it as it came back. He turns around to see the masked changeling.

"Didn't your mother teach you it's rude to hit a mare?" Ezio asked. He then pulls the stallion off of the mare and pushes him back with enough force for him to send him on his flank. He stands back on all fours.

"Listen here buddy, this ain't none of your business." The stallion said.

"Isn't and yes it is. Now I'm going to give you a choice. Either you leave this mare alone, or you answer to me." Ezio said. The stallion just backs away, as if he went with the first option. He gets out of the alley, and Ezio turns to the terrified mare. She was very terrified, not only because of what he did to the stallions, but also because he couldn't see his face. Ezio's snout was the only thing on his face that she could see, the shade of his hood kept his eyes in the mist of a shadow, pretty much much making his eyes impossible to see from an outside perspective.

"You alright?" Ezio asked. The mare nods. The mare was noticeably smaller than the an average sized mare, indicating she was probably around the ages of 15 or 16.

"He didn't hurt you did he?" Ezio asked. The young mare turns her head to the left, revealing a few bruises on her neck, indicating that she had been had been choked. Before Ezio can make a comment in that, he heard rapid hoofsteps getting louder. He knew that was the yellow stallion. When thugs have the opportunity to run, that never do. Ezio turns around to see the stallion wielding a knife in his right hoof. Ezio stands on his hind legs and activates his hidden blade (which was underneath his cape), and waited. When the stallion got close, he threw a hay maker punch with a the hoof that had the knife. Ezio moves forward, dodging underneath it. The next thing that was heard, was the sound of a blade piercing flesh. The stallion drops his knife with eyes wide as saucers. He looks at his abdomen to see it a blade in it. He grabs Ezio as he lowered him to the ground.

"Levabo mortem tuam, a peccatis tuis." Ezio says as the stallion finally reaches the ground. Ezio takes the blade out of his abdomen and then stabs him in the temple, putting him out of his misery. "Requiesce in pace." Ezio said closing the stallion's eyes. He turns back to the mare.

"Go home." He said. Without thinking twice the mare bolts out of the alley. Ezio looks at his left hoof as he deactivates his hidden blade, sending it back into the sheath. He looked at his hoof, which become covered in blood from the stab. He manages to wipe the blood off his hoof.

"HEY!" A commanding voice said. Ezio recognized the voice to be a royal guard. Ezio turns around to see four royal guards, all wielding spears in there hooves. Ezio didn't even need to think before throwing down a smoke pellet. When the smoke cleared, Ezio pretty much disappeared.

"Where'd he go!?" One of the guards shouted. Ezio was on the rooftops, running as fast as he could. He stopped once he was a specific distance.

"That was a little too close." He says to himself. "I've gotta start being more careful. I don't want to know what my mother would do if she found out this is what I'm doing."

Ezio looks off to the west (as he faced the south) and thought about his sword.

"Now would be a good time as any to pick up my sword." Ezio said. He starts making his way to Doctor Whooves' lab.

It had been six hours since Ezio left for his sword. The meeting had ended around at 1200 hours. Two hours after Ezio left for his sword. Queen Chrysalis walked around the castle, wondering where Ezio was. Did he get caught in a line or something? She slowly began to get worried. Although she knew that Ezio was a hundred percent capable of handling himself, Chrysalis' motherly instincts still managed to kick in. An changeling day-shift guard wearing white armor starts walking by.

"Chief-Sentinel Gideon?" She calls.

"Yes my queen?" The changeling asked with a deep british accent.

"Have you heard from Prince Ezio yet?" She asked.

"Haven't seen him since he went in his room." Gideon said. Chrysalis was about to walk away but Gideon spoke again. "But strangely enough, I never saw him leave the room." Chrysalis stopped in her tracks.

"Wait? What?" She asked.

"I saw him go into his room and he never came back out." Gideon explained.

"Take me to his room." Chrysalis ordered. Gideon led her to Ezio's room, Chrysalis checked the door. It was locked.

"Strange, Ezio has never locked his door since I burned his magazines." Chrysalis commented.

"Wish I could unhear that." Gideon muttered.

"Gideon?" She called, surprising him.

"Huh?" He asked.

"You know how to pick a lock?"

"Yea, why?"

"Give you three guesses." She said pointing to the door. Gideon put two and two together. He pulls out a bobby pin and began picking the lock. After a few tries he finally unlocks the door.

"Got it." He notifies. Chrysalis opens the door to see an empty room. She walks in for closer examination. She only noticed the window was opened, but Gideon noticed something under the bed.

"Um, my Queen?" he called.

"What is it?" She asked.

"There's something under the bed." He said. Gideon then activates his magic to pull out an open clothing trunk. Chrysalis walks over to the clothing trunk and looks inside to see a file folder. She uses her magic to levitate it in front of her as she opened it. As she did, she saw a bunch of pictures of ponies, griffons, changelings, and dragons with X's over them, and not just any of them. Everyone of them were wanted criminals.

"Chrysalis, aren't those-" Gideon only stopped mid sentence already knowing the answer.

"Yep, all the criminals that 'disappeared' from the kingdom. The question is why does Ezio have this in his trunk? Even bigger question, what's in this trunk?" Chrysalis asked. As if on cue, Ezio was climbing in his open window. He crawled halfway through the window before noticing his mother, who looked up at the right moment.

"Uuuuuhhhh, I think I'll come back later." He said attempting to get back out, only for Chrysalis to drag him back in with her magic.

"Gideon, can you wait outside for a moment?" Chrysalis asked. Gideon didn't even answer, he just left the room and closed the door behind him.

Chrysalis sits Ezio on his bed and shows him the file and then speaks in the most seriously concerned voice. "Ten seconds. Explain."

Ezio looks at the file, then back at Chrysalis. She was shooting him the deadliest of daggers. Ezio scratches the back off his head. "I've kinda been, maybe sorta, dealing with the crime issue myself. *Shifty eyes*" Ezio explained. Chrysalis smiled and walked closer. She stood in front of Ezio with that half smile, and Ezio gave an uncomfortable smile. He knew what was gonna happen next, and braced himself for pain. Then out of nowhere, she slapped him in the face. Hard. Even for someling with a high pain resistance, that hurt.

"Ouch. Okay I deserved that." Ezio said rubbing his cheek.

"Now that that's out of the way, I want answers.Detailed answers." She said putting emphasis on detailed.

"Okay, where do you want me to start?" Ezio asked.

"Start with how long you've been doing this."

"Okay, I began doing this three years ago, about a month after I turned sixteen. I saw some ponies attempting to sell a few mares to prostitution/slavery outside the kingdom walls." Ezio explained. "I didn't have anything to conceal my identity, so I had to buy the mares' silence." Ezio continued.

"What do you mean 'Buy their silence'." Chrysalis asked.

"Not what your thinking, I just paid them to keep the whole, 'My life was saved by the prince' fiasco quiet." Ezio said. "Is there anything else you'd like to know?"

"Yes, what are you wearing and where did you get it?" Chrysalis asked, raising an eyebrow.

"This is known as the assassin's robes, rumor has it that it was originated by an Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, around three centuries ago. And Doctor Whooves made it for me."

"Are you the only one?" Chrysalis asked.

"As far as I'm concerned, probably not. The kingdom is relatively large, maybe somepony or Changeling, or Griffon has got the same idea as me."

"So you're saying, there could be others?"

"Huge emphasis on could, but yes."

"Okay. Now I want to know, why? Why would you put yourself in danger like that? Do you know how upset I would be if my little nymph were to be killed? Why would you put yourself in harms way like that?" Chrysalis asked. Ezio gave a long pause before letting out a sigh.

"Do you remember a decade ago, when I stood up for my friend?" Ezio asked. Chrysalis nods.

"You told me that you we're proud of me for standing up to for her. And that that was the kind of prince you'd want to rule amongst the changelings. I was just trying to live up to it." Ezio explained. Chrysalis was satisfied with his answers, and proceeded to leave the room.

"Mom?" Ezio called. Chrysalis turns around.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Could this be...um...could you not tell anyone this? This whole Prince Ezio being a changeling assassin thing?" Ezio asked. Chrysalis just smirks and said, "Sure. I'll also make sure Gideon keeps his mouth shut too. Just, be more careful."

"Don't worry, I will." Ezio replies. Chrysalis leaves the room, closing the door behind her. Ezio proceeded to take off his robes and armor. He gets the last of his clothes off and puts them back in the trunk but he left the hidden blade back on. He then leaves the room and continued to walk out the castle. Before he walked out, somepony called his name.

"Prince Ezio?" Ezio turns toward the voice, it was Shining Armor.

"Hey Armor." Ezio said.

"Heading out?"

"Yea. I'm guessing you've gotta send somepony to come with me?" Ezio asked. He didn't like being escorted by any guards, but that was the necessary precaution. The only way Ezio could go out without a guard looking over his shoulder for him, was if he wear to sneak out.

"You know the orders." Shining Armor said nodding. Ezio just sighs.

"Well, let's get on with it." Ezio said.

"Right away." Shining Armor said. He whistles and three guard ponies came into view. One a white unicorn stallion, one an orange pegasi, and the last one was a bat pony.

"Go ahead and choose one." Armor said. Ezio, really didn't wanna chose one. But decided to go with the diurnal bat pony.

"Give me the bat pony." Ezio said. The bat pony stepped forward and saluted.

"Knight-Initiate Midnight Hunter, glad to be aboard." He said. From the word 'Initiate' it was grossly apparent that the bat pony was either new to the day shift, or new to knighthood period.

"At ease Knight." Ezio said, the bat pony drops his salute. Ezio and Midnight proceeded to leave the castle. As Ezio walks out, he takes a deep breath in and then continues to walk through the kingdom.

As the two traveled throughout the kingdom, Ezio got friendly greets here and there. Being a prince pretty much automatically made him extremely well known among the citizens, but given how nice he treated the commoners made him popular. Ezio stops by a marketplace to grab something to eat. Although changelings mostly feed off of love, marketplaces around the kingdom sold changeling friendly versions of normal pony foods. Ezio ordered some cherries and oats, but as he grabbed his bag of bits to pay for it, somepony snatched it and took off running.

"HEY!" Both Ezio and Hunter shouted. Before Hunter could even react, Ezio took off running after him. The thief happened to be a light blue earth pony with a dark blue mane and he held the bag of bits in his front left hoof while running with the other three, so he didn't really pick up a lot of speed. The stallion looks behind him, to see Ezio gaining on him. The stallion then puts the bag of bits in his mouth and began running on all fours. The stallion then jumps onto a large box, jumps up and grabs onto a pole and pulls himself up, lunges toward the edge of a balcony and pulls himself up onto it and then climbs on the roof of the building. To his horror, Ezio did the same thing in half the time. The thief just kept running. The thief ran from building to building, not even bothering to look back, as he knew Ezio was on his tail. He then climbs off the building runs out into the street and accidentally knocks a mare down trying to run. When he did, he tripped. When he was on the ground, he frantically looking around. He didn't see Ezio, so he stood up, brushed himself off and got ready to walk away. The second he looked up, he got tackled so hard, the wind was knocked out of him. Ezio pinned the thief to ground with his right hoof, as he grabbed the bag of bits with his left.

"Get out of here, or I'm gonna regret sparing your life." Ezio said. The stallion nodded, gets up and immediately took off running. Ezio then walks over to the mare, the thief knocked down and helped her up.

"Are you okay Miss-" Ezio stops talking when he caught a glimpse of the mare. The grey mare, with a black mane and a purple treble clef. The fact that she was wearing a pink bow tie, made it clear that the mare he was helping up was-.

"Octavia?" Ezio asked. The mare looked at Ezio before gasping, and hugging Ezio.

"Ezio!" She shouts with excitement. She still had that english accent Ezio was a sucker for. Ezio hugs back.

"My goodness, it's been ages." Octavia said. "You know, after you moved away and established a settlement here, Vinyl and I tried to tell other ponies that we were friends with the changeling prince, but none of them believed us."

"Jeez Octy, I wasn't expecting to see you here, when did you arrive?" Ezio asked.

"Vinyl and I moved here about three weeks ago. Larger population, more who appreciate good music, better chance at earning some bits." Octavia explained.

"And better chances you'll run into scumbags like the one I took down."

"Oh, please. Just because I'm a lady, doesn't mean I don't know my way around in a fight." Octavia said flicking her mane. Midnight Hunter ran to Ezio's side. He took the road to try to cut the thief off as Ezio chased him on the rooftops.

"Sir, did you get your-" Before Hunter could finish, Ezio showed him the bag of bits.

"Wait, where's the thief?" Hunter asked.

"I let him go. Fifty bits isn't really worth arresting somepony over."

"But sir-"

"Let him go. He'll probably get beaten to a bloody pulp or killed by robbing someone less forgiving than me." Ezio said.

"Understood sir."

"Octavia, this is Midnight Hunter. Midnight Hunter, this is Octavia." Ezio introduced.

"A pleasure." Octavia said.

"Likewise." Hunter replies.

"It was nice seeing you again Octy." Ezio said.

"The feeling is mutual. Ezzy." Octavia said walking away, giggling under her breath. Ezio made a glaring face.

Damn, I was hoping she forgot about that. Ezio thought.

"Um... Sir, who's Ezzy?" Hunter asked.

"That's was my nickname growing up. And it's also the name you didn't hear." Ezio said giving Hunter a glare.

"What's not the name I didn't hear?" Hunter said playing along.

"Exactly." The two continued to walk the around kingdom. Completely unaware of a hooded and shadowy figure was watching from an alley. The figure wore a black cloak covering all but his shiny pitch black hoof. His muzzle, and face were not visible. But when the pony opened his eyes. The pony's scleras were a bright green color, his eyes were a brilliant scarlet color with deep red, slit pupils, and there was some glowing purple aura forming around his eyes. He opens his mouth, revealing two relatively sharp teeth.

"Soon." He said in a deep and dark voice with the same kind of echo-y voice effect changelings had.

Ezio's ear began to twitch. He turns around and began looking around.

"Is there something wrong sir?" Hunter asked.

"I could've sworn I heard someone say 'soon'." Ezio said, still looking around.

"It was probably one of the locals." Hunter said. Ezio's eye caught somepony in a pitch black cloak peaking around the corner of one of the buildings. Quickly upon seeing him, the figure retracts his head.

"That's not a local." Ezio said and began making his way to the alley. Hunter following close behind. Ezio makes it to the alley. There was nothing out of the ordinary. Strange, Ezio saw something, Extremely out of the ordinary. He started to look around.

"Sir, what are you looking for?" Hunter asked. Ezio couldn't find any thing. It was like what ever it was he saw, disappeared.

"Nothing I guess. *Turns around* Come on, maybe we should get-," Ezio steps on a manhole cover that wasn't completely covered. He uses his magic to pick up the cover.

"Hmph, Jackpot." Ezio said as he flew down. Upon touching the ground, Ezio discovered how dark the tunnel was. Hunter follows in after him.

"Can you turn on a light sir? I'm blind as a bat." Hunter said.

"Bad pun." Ezio states as he started a white glow with his horn. It was bright enough for both of them to see. Ezio began walking through the tunnel. He looks around, and he didn't recognized this tunnel. Hunter got an uneasy feeling.

Ezio continued through the tunnel until he got the same uneasy feeling. Ezio then hears the same 'soon' he heard earlier. Ezio stands on his hind legs, ready for a fight.

"We're not alone, Hunter." Ezio notified. Hunter goes back to back with Ezio, standing on his hind legs as well. Seconds later, ponies appeared. Crystal ponies. And not just any crystal ponies. Crystal Soldiers. Ezio activates his hidden blade and moves toward the soldiers. Hunter had his own share of the crystal soldiers to deal with. He had a dagger hidden behind his wing. Show he drew it.

The crystal pony soldiers wore some different shades of grey. Their manes were black with some thin purple stripes. They would've blended in perfectly into the darkness, if it weren't for the glowing green eyes. They all wielded blades that were attached to the armor. The blades worked like Ezio's hidden blade, only less hidden, and much longer. One of the ponies swung their blade at Ezio. Ezio blocks it and then moves forward, stabbing the pony in the torso. A second one swings at him as he was pulling the blade out. Ezio dodges underneath it and comes up stabbing the pony in the neck, right underneath the helmet. A third one charges. Ezio pulls the blade out and gets in his fighting stance. When the pony swings the blade, aiming for Ezio's neck. Ezio knocks the blade up above his head uses his free hoof to grab the bladed hoof as he moved in and stabs the pony four times in the torso. Hearing hoofsteps, Ezio turns around swinging his blade, cutting the pony in the neck. Ezio turns to Hunter who had just finished hip throwing one of the ponies to the ground and follows up with a stab to the neck. One more pony was left and he tried to run, but Ezio caught up to him and less than a second. Ezio grabs him and pins him to the wall, with the blade held to his neck as he snatched the helmet off.

"What are you doing here!?" Ezio shouts. The pony, a yellow crystal pegasus, opens his eyes revealing his green and red eyes with the purple aura.

"You. L-like I'm afraid of you." He replied in a shaky voice.

Ezio rolls his eyes. "Well, you've got me fooled." Ezio presses the blade against his neck harder. "Now answer my question."

The pegasus then spits in the Changeling Prince's face. Ezio shoot him daggers after recoiling back.

"Your cock scented spit doesn't answer my question, and my patience is beginning to wear thin." Ezio presses the tip of his blade against his Adam's apple to the point where blood began dripping down the pegasus' neck. He winces in pain as Ezio gives him a death glare.

"Last Time. What are you doing here!?" Ezio says gritting his teeth.

The pegasus just shouts, "Go to Tartarus Bugger! Your kingdom will perish beneath our hooves!" The pegasus then pushes his neck into Ezio's blade. Ezio was shocked at his actions, yet admired his loyalty. The pegasus' body tensed up before going limp. Ezio shakes his head and sighs.

"Levabo mortem tuam, a peccatis tuis." Ezio says pulling the blade out of his neck. "Requiesce in pace." He continued as he closed the pegasus' eyes. Ezio began patting down his armor to see if he had anything on him. But he had nothing. No money, no tracking beacon, not even a piece of paper showing what their orders were. But what Ezio did managed to find, was some weird looking symbol on his hoof armor. He didn't recognize it, but he did know who did. He attempts to removed the hoof armor, but it wouldn't come off.

"Hey Hunter?" Ezio called.

"Yes sir?" Hunter asked.

"Let me borrow that dagger." Ezio said.

Ezio and Hunter arrive back at the castle. They entered and began walking. As they did Hunter decided to ask a question that's been in his mind since the thief incident.

"Um, Prince Ezio?" He called.

"Yea, What?" Ezio asked.

"Where exactly did you learn to building jump like that?" He asked.

"When I was younger, I used to play hide and seek with my mother. I took that game very seriously. We had a no fly rule, so I found a loophole." Ezio answered.

"Oh, okay." Hunter said. As they continued, Hunter's head got hit with another question.

"Also, what was it you said to that pegasus stallion, I've never heard it before." Hunter asked.

"What Levabo mortem tuam, a peccatis tuis. Requiesce in pace?" Ezio asked.

"Yea, Leva uh...something. What is that?" Hunter asked.

"It's Latin. A language nopony speaks. A dead one in fact."

"What does it mean?"

"For I lift up thy death, and you from your sins. Rest in peace."

"You gave that guy well wishes. He deserved a special place in Tartarus for-"

"He attempted to end my life, that's for sure. But I have respect for those in their final moments. If I didn't I would be no better than them." Ezio said. Hunter looks down, taking in what he just said. They turn the corner and see a room with an open door. Ezio walks in to see Queen Chrysalis talking to Princess Celestia.

"Mother, Celestia. We've got trouble." He said. He pulls out a blood stained hoof armor with the symbol on it.

"Hunter and I found an underground tunnel leading into the kingdom. A few Templars tried to ambush us, but they weren't successful." Ezio explained. He gives Chrysalis the hoof armor. "He had that symbol on his hoof."

Chrysalis and Celestia look at the symbol, and their eyes went wide.

"Sombra." They both said.

"Who?" Ezio asked.

"Sombra. He's the King of the Crystal Empire." Chrysalis said.

"And one of our most sworn enemies. We've been trying to have him killed for centuries, but we were never successful." Celestia continued.

"Celestia wanting somepony killed? That sounds strange coming from your mouth." Ezio commented. "Yet it slips off smoothly. like butter."

"We've gotten enough food on our plate with that hooded creature in our kingdom. Now Sombra is attacking us." Celestia said.

"Wait. Hooded Figure?" Ezio asked, raising and eyebrow.

"A few hours ago, a couple of my guards spotted someone in some strange robes. It's grossly apparent, according to the guards, he stabbed somepony in the stomach and killed him. It could be the same one Princess Ember saw in the window." Princess Celestia explained.

Damn, she did see me. Ezio exclaimed in his mind. He thought he managed to drop down quick enough to avoid her eye, but he was wrong. Even worse, the guards didn't see him save a possibly underaged prostitute from a group of thugs, they only saw him commit murder. Before Ezio could open his mouth, Luna came into the room with a book surrounded by the aura of her magic.

"Tia. I have something you may want to see." she said. She holds the book in front of Celestia, the book was called. 'Oath of the Assassin's Order'. A book Ezio was very familiar with that book. Primarily because it was in HIS room. Served him right, he should've locked his door. Ezio tried his best to keep a straight face, and that was a challenge for him.

The book was relatively small and was only three pages long (technically six since they're front and back). Luna levitates the book in front of Celestia and opens it. There was a greatly detailed drawing of a pony intthe assassin's robes, standing on the edge of a house and standing on his hind legs. The page next to it had boldly written words.

Stay your blade from the flesh of the innocent. Celestia then takes the book and turns the page. The next page was another detailed drawing. It was of a bunch of ponies in a large crowd. Celestia couldn't see anything other than the other ponies. That was until she saw the bold writing again.

Hide in plain sight, be one with the crowd. Celestia looks back at the drawing to see a pony in robes in the middle of the crowd. She turns the page to see yet another detailed drawing. This one was of two ponies in the robes, both seemingly charging toward each other with blades draw.

Never compromise the Brotherhood. Celestia closes the book and looks at her sister.

"What is this Luna?" She asked.

"That's the Order in which the Assassins follow. Also known as the Assassin's Creed." Luna answers.

"Assassins? What are you implying?" Celestia asked.

"Tia, there are Assassins in the kingdom." Luna said. Celestia was quite surprised.

"I thought the Assassins died out decades ago. How could they be here?" Luna asked.

"It is clear that a new Order is on the raise Tia." Luna said.

"Clearly, but this one seems more corrupted than the last one. Have you not heard of the murder that someone in the robes commited?" Celestia asked.

"T'was it murder? Or justice?" Luna asked. She glowes her magic and brings over a file. "The pony deceased was a stallion named, Onyx Mustang." Luna said.

Terrible name. Ezio thought.

"He's a pony trafficker and a foalnapper. Taking young foals from their homes, killing their parents and selling them into prostitution at the age of 12." Luna explained giving the file to Celestia.

That explains the underaged mare. Ezio thought once more.

"So much crime in the kingdom. I guess this 'new Assassin's Order' could be a good thing, but only time will tell." Celestia said.

"Might i ask where you found this?" That was the question that made Ezio nearly choke on his own spit.

"Oh I found it in eh-" She looked in Ezio's direction and saw how uncomfortable he looked. She looks back foward to see Chrysalis scratching her head whilst looking around. She quickly puts two and two together and quickly changes her story.

"The...Library. It was collecting a lot of dust. And that symbol made me curious." Luna says. Ezio fixed his face and made a mental sigh of relief. Chrysalis did the same.

"Well thanks to your curiosity, we may have some allies in the shadows." Celestia said. "Now Ezio, you wouldn't happen to remember where that tunnel is, do you?" Celestia asked. Ezio turns to Midnight Hunter.

"Hunter. You remember where the tunnel is right?"

"Yes sir." Hunter answers.

"Very well. Hunter, I shall send my guards with you and have them secure the location. Those Crystal ponies won't get the drop on us twice." Celestia said.

"Right away Princess." Hunter said.

"Have the dragon guards double check the cannons. Just in case the Templars decide to pull off a full frontal assault instead." Ezio said.

"Good plan Ezio. Way to think ahead." Celestia said.

"I always do." Ezio responded. "I'm gonna go to the library and see how much I can research on this King Sombra pony. I've he's really as bad enough to as where you want him dead, we may need more than a few guards." With that, Ezio left the room and mentally wiped sweat off of his forehead. Chrysalis and Luna get up and leave the room. As they did, Luna opened her mouth to say something but Chrysalis stopped her.

"Keep it between us. Okay?" Chrysalis asked. Luna nodded. Now Three knew about Ezio's Assassin's persona. He was gonna have to be better at hiding this.

Celestia's time to lower the sun and Luna to raise the moon had long come. It was 11:40pm. Ezio was in the castle library, reading about King Sombra. He had been reading for hours. So far he had gotten what he looked like, his allies and his motives. Ezio gained some relatively baggy eyes from how long he was up. Chrysalis walked into the library as he yawned. She walks over to him and places her hoof on his back.

"Come on sweetheart. You should get some sleep." Queen Chrysalis said. Ezio places the book into the ten books stacked next to him and walked along side his mother.

"I may not have finished, but I learned a lot about Sombra." Ezio stated.

"What did you learn?" Chrysalis asked.

"Well, King Sombra isn't just the king of the Crystal Empire. He's also the co-ruler of an Alliance known as the Paragon Nations. Minotaurs lead by Queen Esteta Steelhorn. Centaurs lead by Lord Tirek. And Sphinxes lead by Queen Serqet. Despite there differences, they all have on thing in common, wanting to rule equestria with an iron hoof. Or in the other three's case, fist." Ezio explained. They make it to Ezio's room. Ezio hugs his mom good night and flies onto his bed. Chrysalis smiles and leaves closing the door behind him.

Ezio was in the snowy tundra, merely feet away from the Crystal Empire. He was still wearing his black and red assassin's robes. Allows the cold breeze and snow flakes blow past him, allowing his hair to get a nice waving feel. He then puts the hood back on and began walking into the kingdom.

Upon walking into the kingdom, Ezio sees large crowds of ponies surrounding a carriage. That carriage was being occupied by King Sombra. Ezio gives a smile as he walks toward the crowd. One of the Crystal Unicorn guards was on the rooftops and he saw the cloaked Changeling walking toward the crowd. He picks up a crossbow with his magic and aimed it toward at Ezio. Before he could pull the trigger, he felt some blunt force give him a heavy smack in the head, knocking him to the ground. He looks up to see a creature in the same assassin's robe as Ezio. Except, this one wore a dark lavender colored one. And was a griffon.

Ezio continued walking toward the crowd. One of the Crystal guard Earth ponies noticed him and began running toward him. An arrow impales the earth pony's chest the second he got close. A second one noticed and began running toward Ezio, only to suffer the same fate.

Ezio then began gently pushing his way through the crowd. Moving ponies left and right. He then stops in front of the crowd and caught two Crystal guard ponies off guard. He activates two hidden blades and stabs them both, killing them as they grunted in pain. Two Pegasus guards looked in his direction upon hearing the grunts. But they couldn't react fast enough when another assassin, this one a pony, came in from the crowd, stood on it's hind legs, swing it's front hoof, releasing two throwing knives. The throwing knives landed into the necks of the two guards. Ezio looks at the assassin pony. This one was a female that wore the white robes and was noticeably smaller than him, but not by much. Ezio didn't have time to observe the mare further as a total of six unicorn guards wielding spears surrounded them. The carriage stops and King Sombra steps out.

"Hahaha, Prince Ezio. Brave of you and your friend to stand alone against me." He says in his dark and deep voice. Ezio turns his hoof up toward the sky as a feather came down. It landed into his hoof.

"But also quite foolish. 'Assassin'." Sombra said. Ezio looks into the air as an eagle flew overhead. He nods.

Arrows puncture the unicorns killing them instantly. The one in front of Ezio continued to stand, Ezio just pushed him down. A shocked Sombra sends two mildly armored earth pony guards toward him. That's when a hooded dragon bursts from the crowd, wielding a bearded axe. The dragon swings, hitting the first pony in the chest. He/She then turns around swinging the axe and hitting the other one in the neck. The pony continued running until it stops and then collapses. This dragon was wearing a dark brown assassins robe. Sombra then whistles, and more guards come out of the crowds and stood by Sombra. Sombra then pulls out a curved sword and rubs his hoof against it as his magic held it by the handle.

Ezio, the mare, and the dragon were then joined by the dark lavender robe wearing griffon, and A dark green robe wearing bat pony. In the carriage, Serqet peaks out of the window.

Ezio and the rest of the assassins ran toward Sombra and his Templars. Sombra and the Templars ran toward the assassins.

Ezio then jumps into the air activating his hidden blade.

Surprise Attack

View Online

Ezio was awakened by the sounds of cannon fire and magic blasting. He shot up out of the bed, and rushes over to his dresser. He grabs his hidden blade and launches the door open. He looked to his left, and to his right. Much to his confusion, no guards were rushing out of the castle. No screams of panic, no war cries, not even the destruction of debris. He looks to his left to see Chrysalis walking toward him.

"Mother, what's going on?" Ezio asked.

"Training exercises. Celestia suggested it last night before she lowered the sun. I'm sorry for not telling you last night. You needed the sleep." Chrysalis said. Ezio sighs in relief.

"For a second, I thought the kingdom was under attack." Ezio replied.

"Don't worry, the guards are just preparing for a potential attack. We don't wanna be caught unprepared." Chrysalis said.

"What about the tunnels?" Ezio asked.

"Flash Sentry and his squadron have secured it." Chrysalis replied.

"Flash is leading a squadron? Since when?" Ezio asked in confusion.

"No idea. Celestia thinks he's competent, her guess is as good as mine." Chrysalis answered. Ezio looks out of the window and admires the view.

"So... I heard that you ran into your old friend Octavia yesterday." Chrysalis said. Ezio went wide eyed.

"How did you hear about that?" Ezio asked.

"Midnight Hunter gave me a report. I'm surprised she remembered the nickname she gave you on your tenth birthday. Ezzy." Chrysalis teased. Ezio gritted his teeth and blushed as he heard that name.

"I'm gonna kill him for that." Ezio gritted out.

"Please don't. I made sure that he didn't tell anyone else." Chrysalis chuckles out. Ezio sighs and looks back out the window. Chrysalis walks up behind him.

"You know, you've been working hard for the last few days. Why don't you take a little break?" Queen Chrysalis suggested. Ezio looked at her confused.

"What do you mean?" Ezio asked.

"Take a few hours off, or the whole day if you'd like. Relax a little. You've been over working yourself with the whole assassin's thing. It's starting to make sense as to why you've started to come home with bruises on your legs." Chrysalis pointed out.

"How did you-"

"I'm your mother sweetheart. Act tough all you want, but I can see the smallest limp in your walk."

"Damn." Ezio muttered under his breath.

"What was that?" Chrysalis asked.

"I said Darn." Ezio said, hoping his mother took the lie. Chrysalis shot him a suspicious look.

"So about that break." Ezio said making an attempt to change the subject, to which he succeeds. "What suggestions do you have?"

"Hmm, well, there's the spa. Great place to relax, the masseuses there do wonders for back pain. And they work so good on the shoulders."

"Nah, spas aren't really my type." Ezio said. Chrysalis rolled her eyes. Before she could make another suggestion, Ezio spoke up again. "You know, I think I'll stop by Doctor Whooves's laboratory; see if he's got anything new."

"Suit yourself. Just try to stay safe okay?"

"I always am." Ezio said giving his mother a hug. He then walks to his room. As he was in his room he looks on his lap dresser beside his bed. On his dresser was a picture of him as a nymph with his foalhood friends. He had gotten letters from his friends in the past. Thunderlane had made it into the Wonderbolts and Ditzy Doo was a mailmare for ponyville. And he would always write back, no matter how busy he was with everything else.

He then opens the drawer, revealing his red bandanna with the black lightning bolt. He smiles upon seeing it and picks it up. He ties it around his neck and observes himself in the mirror.

"Still looks good on me." Ezio said. He walks out of his room and bumps in to a white mare with a yellow mane wearing a maid's outfit. This was one of the castle maids, Feather Petal.

"Oh, so sorry monsieur. I didn't see you there." She said. She spoke in a thick french accent. Sure, most of the stallions found it cute, or even sexy. But for her it was very difficult to speak English. One of the various reasons Ezio took French in the first place.

"C'est bien Mme Petal. J'aurais dû faire attention.." Ezio said.

"Devrais-tu vraiment parler en français? Nous pouvons parler en anglais si vous le souhaitez." Feather Petal asked.

"Je n'ai pas appris cela pour impressionner les juments ....... Généralement." Ezio said scratching his head in embarrassment. Feather Petal giggles at the comment.

"J'étais sur le chemin de nettoyer votre chambre. Si vous voulez que je le fasse, c'est." Feather Petal said. Ezio had always liked to do things himself and Petal know that. And Ezio had his trunk in there with his Assassin's robes in it, so he doesn't like someone in his room while he wasn't there.

"Désolé, peut-être la prochaine fois." Ezio said. At least she could have more time to herself.

"ça va. Je vous remercie plus vite." Feather Petal thanked. Ezio smiles as Feather Petal walks off. She was apparently having the same idea as Ezio. Ezio just walked toward the mess hall and saw Midnight Hunter in the middle of a group of laughing guards. Ezio knew that if he was gonna go into the kingdom, Shining Armor wouldn't let him leave without a personal guard. Despite how much he wanted to go out on his own.

"Midnight!" Ezio called. The diurnal bat pony makes his way toward the Prince and salutes.

"I'm headed out again, so let's go." Ezio said.

"Yes sir!" Midnight said. He and Ezio made their way to the castle doors and walk out. Ezio inhales the fresh air and continues to walk into town.

"So, what's the plan today?" He asked. Ezio shot him a raised eyebrow look.

"You mean besides filing papers for you to be demoted." Ezio said. Midnight choked on his own spit upon hearing that.

"What?!" He asked.

"I'm gonna be filing papers to have you demoted. Disobeying an order from a Prince, along with breaking bro code rule #76 quote 'a bro always has his bros back' unquote, you'll be lucky if you don the rank recruit." Ezio said. Of course Ezio was kidding, although he has the power to demote a guard, he wouldn't do it unless said guard really deserved it. But Midnight Hunter didn't know that and began to panic.

"S-s-sir, I don't know what I did, b-but I'm so sor-"

"You told my mother the nickname Octavia gave me when I was ten." Ezio said.

"*gulp* Sh-she asked for a full report and-and-and it slipped from my tongue. I didn't mean to tell her. Honest." Midnight stuttered out. Ezio was doing his absolute best not to laugh or even crack a smile. Possibly the hardest challenge the changeling prince had to face.

"What were you and the other guards laughing about in the mess hall? Did you tell them that name too?" Ezio asked.

"No no no, I didn't. We were laughing at the prank we pulled on Flash Sentry and the other day." Midnight explained. "We filled his jelly doughnut with mayonnaise." That did it for Ezio. Ezio covered his mouth with his hooves as he laughed, trying not to draw a crowd. Once he finally stopped and caught his breath he looks at Ezio.

"I'm sorry. I was trying not to laugh from the start but that mayonnaise prank got me." Ezio said. Midnight was confused as to what he meant by, 'from the start'. Noticing this, Ezio decided to explain.

"I wasn't gonna demote you, I was just teaching you to keep your mouth shut." Ezio explained. Midnight gave a sigh of relief. "But in all seriousness, don't do that again, or I will demote you. Got it?"

"Ye-yes sir." Midnight stuttered. Ezio smirked at that. The two began to make his way through town. Ezio began to think of ways to get rid of Midnight Hunter as soon as he made it to Doctor Whooves lab. Doctor Whooves was the only one Ezio willingly told his Assassin's Lingsona to, so it would be wise if Midnight wasn't there.

Upon making it to Doctor Whooves's laboratory Ezio had thought of a way to get rid of Midnight.

"Midnight. I have an assignment for you." Ezio said.

"What is it sir?" Midnight asked. Ezio pulls out a bag of bits and gives it to Midnight.

"I'm out of Black Cherry soda. Head to the market and get some more. 3 six packs to be precise." Ezio said. Midnight nodded and grabs the bits. He walks off into the Kingdom and Ezio gets a smile on his face.

"He has no idea how hard those are to find. He's gonna be gone for a while." Ezio said to himself and walks into the lab.

Octavia wakes up from her bed and stretches. She had slept for an additional thirty minutes because the cannon training exercise woke her up in a panic. She yawns as she got out of the bed and looked in the mirror. Her mane was an absolute mess.

"The guards should really warn citizens before they do loud training exercises like that." She said. She then goes into the bathroom and proceeds to fix herself up.

After around fifteen minutes, Octavia walks out of the bathroom looking a lot better than she was while she was bed. She felt her stomach growl, loudly.

"Wow, I've worked up an appetite." Octavia said. She walks down stairs (She lived in a two story house), and into the kitchen. Upon walking into the kitchen she sees a note on the refrigerator by her roommate, Vinyl Scratch.

Dear Octy

We ran out of food last night so I'm at the store getting some more. By the time you're reading this, I've probably bumped into an old friend, fellow raver, or some random pony from one of the parties I hosted before that won't shut his or her mouth, or I won't shut mine. Regardless, I'm going to take a while.

~Love Vinyl.

Octavia read the note and groans, cursing Vinyl's laziness. As if it would make a difference, she looks into the refrigerator, and, like the note said, they were out of food. She slams the door shut.

"Ugh. Why does she always wait till the last second when it's her turn to buy food." She asked. It was times like this that made Octavia resent her friend. But they've been friends for ten years, so something like this wasn't enough to end their friendship. But it was very annoying to deal with.

Instead of complaining, Octavia just grabs a bag of bits and walks out of the house.

"So, what do you think?" Doctor Whooves asked. Ezio observed the mechanism that was currently worn around his right hoof. It shared the same design as his hidden blade but was still a bit different. First off, the bottom of the blade was a little thicker than his normal blade. Secondly, the part where the blade comes out of had two slots, indicating that two blades would come out upon activation. And lastly, the leather was thicker.

"What exactly does this do?" Ezio asked.

"The top of your blade works as an arrow. Allowing you to shoot targets at a distance. The bottom of the blade will activate two pronged blades, increasing the bleeding of your target. And the extra leather, it'll work as extra armor." Doctor Whooves explained.

"Extra armor?" Ezio asked.

"Oh, I almost forgot." Doctor Whooves turned around and ran into the back room and comes back with a box on his back. He places it in front of Ezio.

"What's this?" Ezio asked as he opened the box. He sees a red hood on top of some kind of fur and grey metal armor. From how it was placed in the box, Ezio could tell it was folded.

"Well, ever since you had me make you that robe and dubbed me as your personal armorer, I've been fascinated with the history of Assassins. One Assassin in particular caught my eye. An Assassin named Specter Lance." Doctor Whooves said.

"Specter Lance? The Changeling Assassin who fought in the Changeling-Hippogriff war?" Ezio asked.

"Precisely. And one thing that was notable about him was-"

"His trademark armor that went missing after his death." Ezio finished.

"Exactly, and thanks to science. I was able to replicate the design." Doctor Whooves said.

"Really?" Ezio asked.

"Yep, but since I won't be able to mimic it's exact design, it won't be indestructible. Strong enough forces of bullets can go clean through your armor. Not to mention your head is always vulnerable." Doctor Whooves explained.

"Good thing I'm already hard to hit." Ezio said while chuckling. Doctor Whooves chuckles as well.

"So, you taking it home today, or tonight?" Doctor Whooves asked.

"I'll take the new blade home now, but I'll come back tonight for the robes." Ezio said. Doctor Whooves nodded at the answer. Then a thought popped into his head.

"Oh, before you leave I've got something else to show you. Something caught my eye while I was doing some Assassin research that I'd like you to see. Allons y." Doctor Whooves said trotting into another part of his lab. Ezio walks in after him.

"What'd you find out?" Ezio asked. Doctor Whooves walks toward a book of some type and opens it revealing a group of creatures wearing the Assassin's robes. One of which had a Raven on his or her shoulder. That was the first thing Ezio noticed.

"What's with the Raven?" Ezio asked.

"Ravens are one of few birds that play a part in the Assassin's Brotherhood. Others are Owls, Eagles, and Phoenixes." Doctor Whooves explained. Ezio immediately thought of Celestia's pet Phoenix, Philomena.

"What important part did they play?" Ezio asked.

"Communication, Navigation, and in rare cases, Combat." Doctor Whooves said. Ezio nods at the information.

"Thanks, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I'll see you later on tonight." Ezio said making his way to the door. "Au Revoir." Ezio said.

"Au Revoir." Doctor Whooves said.

Octavia walks out of a market place with bags in her mouth. She turns around and waves at the cashier.

"Thank you." She said to the cashier and began to walk. As she walked she made sure to observe her surroundings for any stallions with bright ideas. It was a pretty cloudy day. The grey clouds gave her paranoia that it was gonna rain. She was hoping it didn't.

Please don't rain. Please don't rain. Please don't rain. She repeatedly thought in her head. Octavia didn't mind a little rain every now and then, but no one likes to be caught in the rain when carrying groceries. A mini heart attack came to Octavia when she felt a drop of water hit her snout.

"Are you kidding me?" She asked looking up to see more drops of rain coming down.

"Oh great." She said in disbelief. She continued to walk home, which felt like a long way because of the extra weight.

"You need an extra hoof?" Asked a familiar sounding metallic echo. Octavia turns around to see Ezio walking up behind her.

"Don't worry, I've got it." Octavia said.

"Not anymore." Ezio said glowing his horn. It forms an umbrella like force field over the two of them. Allowing them both to stay dry. He also takes the bags from Octavia. Ezio walks along side Octavia.

"You know you could've just used a satchel." Ezio pointed out. "Or do ladies prefer the fancy hoofbags?"

"Ha ha, very funny."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Does that sound like a thank you?" Ezio asked. Octavia giggles and rolls her eyes.

"Thank you." Octavia said. Ezio just nods with a smile.

"After you." Ezio said. The two began to walk to Octavia's house.

"Oh Ezio, why must you always be such a gentlestallion?" Octavia asked in a tease.

"My mother raised me like this. But I'll admit, a lot better than how Prince Blueblood treats mares. Or Ponies in general." Ezio commented.

"You have a point there. I don't understand why he's invited to every Grand Galloping Gala event." Octavia said.

"That's why I never go. He's the distant nephew of Celestia and Luna, and he's narcissistic as Tartarus " Ezio explained. Octavia thought about it for a moment.

"How does being a distant nephew make him a prince?" Octavia asked. Ezio was gonna answer, but as he opened his mouth, he closed it because he didn't know himself.

"I have no idea. I'll ask Celestia to explain that to me when I get back to the castle." Ezio said. The two made it to Octavia and Vinyl's house and Ezio helps her open the door. The two walk inside just as the rain began to get heavier.

"Ugh, I hate it when it rains." Octavia said. Ezio walks into the kitchen and places the bags there.

"How do you thing I feel? These wings are not built to fly in the rain." Ezio said flapping his wings as an example. Octavia heard the buzzing from his wings as he walked back into the living room. "It's a good thing I prefer to walk."

"I'm gonna kill Vinyl when she gets back."

"What'd she do?"

"It was her turn to buy food for us, but, like always, she waited until the last minute to do so." Octavia said. Ezio raised an eyebrow at the comment.

"Like always? So, the second or third time she did it, you didn't think to not put her in charge of that?" Ezio asked.

"I'm guessing you and other creatures of royalty have a three strike system." Octavia asked.

"Depending on the occupation, yes." Ezio answered.

"That makes sense. Some jobs you can't afford to make any mistakes." Octavia said.

"No, some jobs allow more mistakes then others. I mean we're still prone to make mistakes, no one's perfect after all." Ezio explained. "Well... as long as said mistake doesn't counts someone's life."

"Understandable." Octavia said. She sits down on the living room couch, Ezio looks at her with a smile.

"What?" Octavia asked, confused as to why Ezio was smiling at her like that.

"(English accent) Miss Octavia, a pleasure to be in your presence. Permission to take a seat next to the lady?" He asked as he bowed, making Octavia laugh. She clears her throat and plays along.

"Oh Prince Ezio, it would be my pleasure for you to sit next to me." She said. Ezio chuckled and takes a seat on the couch. As he sat there, he took a look around.

"Wonderful place you got here." Ezio said.

"Thank you, but I'm sure it's nothing compared to the castle." Octavia replied.

"Well, yeah. It's a castle, but this comes close. Who picked out this place?"

"Vinyl." Octavia said. That caught Ezio off guard. He didn't expect Vinyl to pick a house that wasn't party related.

"Really? Wait... what's her room look like?"

"As messy as it always has been."

"There's the Vinyl I know. Had me worried a rogue replaced her." Ezio said. The two share a laugh once more. They then remained silent; having run out of things to talk about. This made things.... Awkward. They look around in order to find to bring up in conversation. Luckily, Ezio managed to find a topic

"So, how have your three weeks here been so far?" Ezio asked.

"It's been simply wonderful, the creatures here are surprisingly nice. Especially the griffons, I'll admit I wasn't expecting that." Octavia explained.

"The griffons here aren't like the ones you'll meet at griffonstone. The ones here have a reason to be nice... most of the time."

"The dragons were a big surprise though. No one told me that dragons were allied with us as well."

"That's because it happened recently. I don't know why their Lord, Ember decided to side with us, but I will not complain. The dragons are resourceful, and that's extra power. Not to mention their cool creatures once you get to know them."

"I believe you." Octavia said with a smile. Another silence fell between them. Octavia looks around for something to talk about. She looks at Ezio's hooves and gets curious.

"What are those things on your hooves?" She asked. Ezio looks at the hidden blades on his hooves.

"Oh these?" Of course those you idiot Ezio thought after asking the question. Octavia nods.

"These are my blades." Ezio said, he activates his left blade as an example.

"I don't leave into town unless I have one at my disposal. The time I didn't, I ended up with these scars." Ezio said pointing to the scars on the left side of his face. Octavia flinched. She had not noticed that before.

"What happened?" She asked.

"I decided to go one on one with a manticore. My sword shattered in the middle of the fight." Ezio explained.

"Was it worth the fight?"

"I got the thing's head on my wall, some cool battle scars, and a tough reputation." Ezio said.

"Tough reputation? What the guards are fans of manticore slaying?" Octavia asked.

"Oh no, the manticore didn't give me the tough reputation, my mother's beating did. She wasn't to happy about my recklessness, and let me tell you, I'd rather be stuck in a room with Blueblood than go through that again." Ezio said. Octavia giggles at the comment.

"Well the battle scars do give you a rather handsome look." She said. Ezio gave a faint blush at the complement.

"You're not much of a bad sight yourself." Ezio complemented back causing Octavia to get red faced.

"Th-thank you." She said. Ezio deactivates his blade. Upon doing this, Octavia remembered why she asked in the first place.

"You know, that kind of reminds me of the hidden blades used by the Assassins." Octavia said. This surprised Ezio.

"You know about the Assassins?"

"A little something I took research on back when I was in Ponyville." Octavia said. She looks back at Ezio's leathered hooves. " The Order of Assassins believe in a strong set of values that strictly govern their way of life, referred to as "the Creed". This Creed consists of three tenets:

'Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent.'
'Hide in plain sight, be one with the crowd.'
'Never compromise the Brotherhood.'

These tenets permeated every aspect of the Assassins' daily life, as well as their fight for 'peace in all things'. The Assassins carry out their duties through political, strategic assassination, in the hope that killing one individual will lead to the salvation of thousands. They also believe that they fight on the behalf of those who do not possess the abilities, resources, or knowledge to speak out against those who abuse their power." Octavia explained. Ezio was impressed.

"Now if only other ponies knew about the Assassins." Ezio said. Octavia smiled.

"You know, there's been a rumor of a hooded creature going around the city. Some kill him a murderer, others a vigilante." Octavia started. Ezio know where this was going and went wide eyed. Noticing that Ezio was slowly being wrapped around her hoof, she smirked and continued.

"I may not have been here long, buuuuut, I'm pretty sure I know a particular Changeling that may be the said 'hooded creature'. Care to comment on that your majesty?" She asked. Ezio gave a sigh and came clean.

"Okay, I'll admit it. I'm the 'hooded creature'." Ezio admitted. He then sighs. "You've always been good at solving things quickly Octy. But exactly how did you figure it out so fast?" He asked.

"Well, the ones who called him a vigilante talked about the criminals showing up dead all over the place. You never did like bullies or anyone who intentionally harmed others. So I kinda put two and two together." She said.

"Well, looks like you're the fifth to know I'm an assassin." Ezio said. Octavia raised an eyebrow.

"Fifth?" Octavia asked.

"My mother, Chief Sentinel Gideon, Luna, and Doctor Whooves are the others. Doctor Whooves was the only one I intentionally told though." Ezio explained. Octavia little giggle. Ezio rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry. I'll keep your secret safe." Octavia said.

"Thank you." Ezio said with a smile. Another silence came across them. This time Octavia was the one who found something to talk about.

"So, what was the cannon fire about this morning?" She asked.

"It woke you too huh?" Ezio asked, Octavia nodded.

"I caught some Crystal Templars in an underground tunnel that leads to the kingdom. They were apparently trying to sneak their way in here, and from how they reacted towards me, they didn't have peaceful intentions. I managed to take the down and reported it to my mother. Now there's a squadron watching the tunnel, just in case more try to sneak in. The reason you heard the cannon fire; that was because they were practicing as a just in case the Crystal Empire decides to debunk the sneaking into the city and pull off a full frontal attack." Ezio explained. Octavia was a bit shocked upon hearing this.

"What's the deal Crystal Empire?" Octavia said.

"The same deal it is with the Minotaur Union, Sphinx Nation, and the Centaur Syndicate. They want power. The only way they know to get it is through fear and enslavement."

"I really hope it doesn't come to that." Octavia said a bit worried.

"Worry not, I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure it doesn't." Ezio said. Octavia looked at him with a smile. This smile was different because a blush on her cheeks was added. Ezio noticed this and got concerned.

"Um, Octy, are you alright?" Ezio asked. Snapping Octavia after her initial daze.

"Huh? um, what?" She asked.

"You kind of dozed off for a second there. Are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm fine. I just..." Ezio stopped her with a 'Shh' as his ear suddenly twitched. " What's wro-" Octavia was silenced by Ezio tackling her to the ground. A cannon ball came in through the second floor, which came in through the roof and was gonna land on the couch where Octavia was sitting. Luckily, Ezio acted quickly. Ezio looks up to see the smoke coming from the outside. Ezio opens the doors and look over towards the wall to see smoke omitting from the other side. Another cannon ball flies over it and landed in one of the buildings. Seeing debris fly into the air, Ezio glows his horn and blasts a ball of magic into the air. Upon exploding, an alarm riddled the entire kingdom.

"Octavia!" Ezio called. He looked back to see Octavia running down the stairs with some kind of box in her hoof.

"Get to evacuation tunnel in the far north!" Ezio said. Octavia nodded and ran off. Ezio ran towards the kingdom walls and up the stairs. Upon reaching the top, a cannon ball flew over his head. Ezio saw the other side of the wall. There were at least around 400 of them from each faction and they all kept coming.

Ezio looks to his left to see a spare cannon. He runs over and slides behind it. He preps it ready to fire.
