Discord finds a way to affect Twilight even in his stone prison
After defeating Discord It seems he has finally bin beaten but using his magic Discord finds a way to affect twilight's mind. Causing her to see him but to all her efforts she cant make any one ells see discord. ____________________________________________________ (Ok well now that I look back on my story so far can any one give some help and tell me if the story so far fits the categories so far or is it missing one?) The story idea is mine the characters are not.
A few days had passed since Discord was defeated by Twilight and her friends. Twilight had stayed most of her time back in the library writing her report to the princes on how they had defeated the evil Discord and return harmony back to Equestria.
Twilight sat at her desk her horn glowed as she held a quill with her magic. There was a small lit candle that sat in her desk and with the help of the moonlight filled the library with a dim light. It was late at night spike was asleep in his small bed mumbling in his sleep.
“Rarity your looks so beautiful with your mane like that.”
Twilight laughed softly to herself. “Looks like his dreaming about Rarity again.”
The library was mostly quiet spikes occasional sleep talk broke the silence now and again. Twilight stood back to stretch her hoofs. “I should be finished with the report for the princes by tomorrow.”
She told herself as she made her way to her kitchen. The candle that sat on her desk began to flicker before it blew out leaving Twilight in the dark. The small ray of light from the moon left the library in a dark haze only outlines of dark shapes could be clearly seen.
“Darn the wick must have-“ She said as she turned around only to stop in a frozen stance.
A large snake like figure stood in front of her. No clear details could be made out only to two large yellow eyes with red pupils that cut through the darkness was all that she could clearly see. She felt her heart pounding agents her chest her breath was choppy as she was engulfed in fear from the creature that stood in front of her.
"No it cant be you should be in stone?!" The eyes stared at her her heart beat faster her body felt as if she had turned into stone.
She closed her eyes fully concentrating on a light spell her horn lit up casting the spell that illuminated the entire library. A moment passed before she dared to open her eyes but when she did the eyes and the figure where gone. Her mind began to race trying to make any scene of what she had just seen.
“Those eyes I know them from anywhere but how?!”
She said a loud. The soft sound of something walking down the stairs caught her off guard. She panicked screamed.
“STOP RIGHT THERE!”
Spike was walking down the stairs was startled by Twilight's scream causing him to fall down the last few steps. The dragon fell hard on back with a loud hollow thud.
“Spike! I’m Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.” She said as she ran to his side.
Still a little groggy from waking up but the fall help him wake up even more.
“Its’ ok Twilight but whats with all the noise and lights?”
Still confused from what she saw herself. Trying to make sense of what she saw herself she made up a quick lie.
“It’s nothing Spike I just thought I saw something just go back to bed I’m just seeing thing.”
Spike glaring at her could only just nod at her as he made his was back up the stairs. “Fine but could you see things a little quieter?” He told her as he crawled back into his almost instantly falling back to sleep.
Twilight looking back to her desk letting out a heavy sigh.
“I know what I saw but still.” She thought to herself as she made her way back into the kitchen filling herself a glass of water.
“I just must be tired and my mind is playing tricks on me.” She let a almost forced laugh to try to calm herself.
She took a sip of her water only to spit it back out as the taste of chocolate milk hit her tongue. Looking at the glass she saw that the water had turned into chocolate milk she gasped dropping the glass. The cup hit the ground the sound of braking glass echoed though the library waking spike again.
“Come on Twilight this is getting ridiculous I’m trying to sleep!”
She turned her head to the stairs. “I’m sorry Spike I won’t make any more noise go back to sleep. She turned back to see the broken glass but when she did the chocolate milk had turned back to water. But the small taste of chocolate still lingered on her tongue.
“Ok its official I’m going crazy.” She thought to herself as she used her magic to pick up the broken glass as she used a rag to clean up the water.
She made her way up the stairs turning of a light spell. She stopped at the top of the stairs to look back where she had seen the eyes but all she saw was in empty library. Letting a soft sigh she laid on top of her bed.
“There is no way he could have already broken the spell already. No I’m just thinking to hard about the subject.”
Twilight laid on her bed for what she felt was hours going back and forth fighting with her self. "What if he really has broken free?!" Looking out to her window all was peace full as if the events of Discord never really happened.
"I'll just check the sculpture garden tomorrow just to make sure. Besides if he was truly free I'm sure I would have to deal with all the dancing buffalo and the chocolate rain again."
Laying her head back down on her bad she began to relax more slowly drifting into sleep but the eyes she was still lingered in her mind as if they where permanently etched into her mind.
The night was long for Twilight she would find herself drifting onto a deep sleep only to be abruptly awaken by the eyes from the previous night. Twilight crawled out her bed her eyes where a tint of red from the lack if sleep. She walked down her stares to the kitchen to see Spike was making himself breakfast.
"Good morning spike did you sleep well?" her words came out sluggish and slurred.
"Not bad really given the-" he told her as he jumped seeing her for the first time that morning.
"Wow looks like you had a ruff night." he said trying to held back his laughter.
Twilights hair was in one giant knot one side of her hair was sticking straight up as the other side was all frizzy as if some pony had bin rubbing a ballon in her hair* all night.
"Thats putting it lightly. Spike can a you make a daffodil sandwich please." Twilight's voice still sounding sluggish as if she was still half asleep
Spike couldn't stop himself from laughing as he nodded to her. "Y-ya haha no problem." He turned still laughing as he quickly made the sandwich and placing on a plate in front of her.
"thanks Spike." Twilight smiled at him as she used her magic to lift the sandwich off the plate and slowly eating it.
"thanks agin spike I really needed that." She told him as he was finishing his own sandwich made out of mostly of small gems diamonds.
"No problem twilight." Taking the last few bites of his sandwich.
She made her way back up the stares to fix herself up for the day. Her horn lid up as she grabbed the bush to fix her hair thinking to herself.
"I must be thinking to much of him is all. But still... Better make sure just in case." she reassured herself as she finished brushing her hair. She walked back down the stares calling to spike giving him his daly chores.
"spike I just need you put up a few books back in there place today." She told spike as she reached the bottoms of the stairs.
"Hey Twilight is it ok of I go to Rarity's once I'm finished with the chores?" he ask with a smile."
Twilight smiled and nodded "just make sure not to bother her to much casanova."
His smile got bigger as a eyes widen with anticipation.
As she left her library she could stop herself but to look around. The town was alive like usual the stores where open selling there goods. Ponies walked around as if Discord never really escaped and never made pony vill fall into chaos. Just before leaving ponyvill her mind began to race. "Wait what am I thinking i know I'm one if the elements of harmony but i cant take discord by myself. Maybe i should get the girls... But what if I'm wrong and it really is all in my head." she stopped in her stacks looking back at pony vill. "I-Im sure it's all I my head." now pacing back in forth trying to think if an answer. She took a deep breath trying to clear her mind. "No no no I-I'll be fine I'm sure I'm just over reacting." Twilight continued to make her way to the garden as she reached the garden's gates she could already make out the figure of several statues. She walked a small path ever few paces was greeted by a different statue. As she reached an opening she could see the statue that she wanted to see. There stood Discord still incarcerate in his stone prison. But there was somepony else there a purple pony she stared at the statue with eyes filled with tears.
Twilight was confused. "who would be crying for discord in that matter." She walked closer calling to the purple pony. "Excuse me." that's she could say before the purple pony turned to her. The pony let out a gasp before running passed twilight. Twilight could only watch as the pony ran out her sight.
"Who was that?" She ask herself before turning back to Discord's statue. Still standing in that defeated pose with his mouth still wide open. Twilight couldn't help but laugh at his expression.
"I knew he wasn't strong enuf to brake such a powerful spell already." She said with almost a mocking voice. Her mind felt at ease for once seeing that discord was still trapped and it was all in her head. With her head held high she turned to return home. But her celebration was cut short from a powerful snapping noise. The skies began to darken as a large pink clouds began to blocked she sun.
"No this impossible." She violently turned back to discord's statue only to see Discord in the same pose the previous night in her library. His body still seemed to be trapped in stone but his eyes where normal coolers. Even is his stone form he moved freely slowly walking over to twilight.
"Whats wrong Twilight you look like you've seen a ghost."
Twilight froze all her senses betrayed her. Her mind screamed that this was all a hallucination, her eyes could not be fooled they saw what was truly there, her body felt numb, her legs felt as somepony had nailed them to the ground. She could only gaze into discord's eyes before he slammed and pinned her to the ground with his lion paw. Taking the wind from her she gasped for air. Her chest expanded less with every breath she tried to take.
"this is the end for you and the elements of harmony! But first you need to wake up." his voice began to change completely his voice became familiar to twilight. She still saw discord but she heard spikes voice instead of his.
"come on Twilight wake up." Spike voice coming out of discord's mouth.
She blinked once and it was over she awoke drenched in sweat her heart was pounding at her chest. She was back in her home still in bed the sun was beginning to rise to begin the day.
"are you ok twilight? It looked like you where having a nightmare." Spike asked her standing by the side of her bed.
She was at a lost for words. All she could do is turn and hug spike. "it was but it's over now thanks spike." A moment passed before she let go of spike.
"you look like you could a good meal I'll go get breakfast started." spike said to her as he walked down the stairs.
Twilight sat in her bed making sure this was not another dream. She felt normal except she could still fell as if something had bin pushing down on her with great force.
Twilight's mind drifted between thoughts and plans as she still sat on her bed. She did not know what to do part of her wanted to run to the princes for help but something inside of her told her it would not be necessary and it was just a bad dream. She snapped out of her ideas as she heard spike calling her.
"Twilight breakfast is ready."
Twilight hopped off her bed and made he way downs the stairs as she reached the bottom the looked over to her desk. She could see the letter she was writhing still layer open where she left it.
"Twilight is everything alright?" Spike asked as he finished plating the table.
"No just thinking about stuff." her voice was hesitant on her last words as if she was trying to fool herself.
"Right.... Speaking of stuff what was with all the racket last night?"
Spikes words caught twilight by surprise. "Wait that really happened!" she rushed to his side placing her hoofs on his shoulders shaking him frantically trying to get some answers from him.
"Spike tell me what happened last night! Did you see him?!"
Spike stared blankly at her trying to understand her questions. "what do you mean what happens last night? You stayed up late writhing you letter to your princes as far as I know. And did I see who I was woken up by a blinding light."
Twilight frantically trying to peace together what really happened last night. "so you didn't see anypony no creepy eyes or anything? What about after I went upstairs did I do anything?" she sounded desperate asking any question that came to her mind trying to get any answer to help her.
"Again no. When I came downstairs all I saw was you. And once you went to bed I don't know I must have bin asleep when you came upstairs."
Twilight released her grip on him letting out a sigh of relief. "so I was all my imagination." A small smile began to show on her face.
"So you want to explain what you where getting all worked up about?" spike asked as he sat at the table.
"it was nothing sorry my imagination just got the better of me is all." she said with a smile on her face as she sat on one side of the table.
"Right... so what about last night what where you dreaming about? You where screaming and kicking like if you where being attacked by a tinder wolf or something."
Twilight let out a soft giggle. "No nothing like that. Though I think I would have preferred that dream over the one I had."
"Really if you prefer that I'll make sure to give you that dream tonight." Discord's voice sounded as if it echoed trough the entire room.
Twilight's eyes opened wide looking around the room to locate where his voice came from. But the room was empty only spike was in the room with her.
Spike stared at her as she looked around the room. "Um... Twilight you looking for something?"
"Did you hear him?" she ask frantically searching where the voice came from.
"Did I hear who?" she asked as he took a bite from his breakfast.
"That voice! Discord's voice!" she barked.
Spike choked on his food when he heard discord's name. "Wait I thought you defeated him how could he here? Besides I didn't hear anyone."
Twilight sat there confused. "How did you not hear him his voice was clear as!" she was cut of from her last word form the sound of fingers snapping. And there sat discord on the others side of the table. Leaning on his arm with his hand on his chin.
"Hello twilight did you miss me." his voice was sarcastic with a devilish grin painted on his face.
Twilight jumped from her seat yelling at the other side of the table pointing a hoof at discord. "How are you here! You should still be in stone!"
Spike looked over to where Twilight hoof pointed. "Um Twilight who are you talking to?"
"what do you mean who am I talking to it's Discord he's right there! And I won't let him get away." twilight's horn began to glow as she prepared a spell to attack discord.
Discord stood stood up and a snap of his fingers he made target appear giving twilight a better target.
Twilight glared at the discord her horn glowed brighter with each passing second until a beam of light shot from it at discord. Spike at the time jumped under the table for some protection.
Discord only stood there as the beam got closer to him then it hit him. But the beam went trough him and hitting the wall behind him leaving a large smoke cloud engulfing most of the room. When the smoke settled it revealed a new hole in the wall with a black charred wring around it.
Spike peaked his head from under the table as the smoke settled to see the new hole in the wall. "Twilight what has gotten into you? First you start yelling nothing and now you blasting holes in the wall!"
Twilight strained her eyes trying to see if she hard hit discord. But there was no sine of him he had vanished. "Where is he I know I didn't miss him."
Spike screaming out twilight's name to get her attention. "what are you talking about there was nothing there! Are you sure your alright your starting to worry me."
"No I'm fine I just missed him." She said before feeling her body getting heaver. She looked over to see Discord leaning on her back.
"You now what Twilight I think your on to something this room did need another window."
Twilight didn't hear what spike said she was to preoccupied with Discord. She jumped back causing discord to loose his balance and fall to the ground. Twilight Took the opportunity to pin Discord on the ground. "Your not going any where discord." She looked over to spike seeing him sending a letter to the princess. "Good job spike We need to warn the princess that Discord has escaped."
"Actually I warned her that your having one of you episodes again. I still remember when you over reacted then you didn't wright you weekly letter to the princes."
Discord began to laugh uncontrollably under Twilight. "Wow he is actually more afraid of you than he is of me being free. I wish I could have seen what he was talking about."
"Spike! I'm not having an episodes he is really here!"
Discord laid on the ground cackling from twilight's pleas. "Come now Twilight what did I miss when I was set in stone. That other side of you sounds like fun!" Twilight slammed her hoof on his chest to stop his laughter.
"You wont be laughing when the princes get here." Discord smile only grew larger.
Spike could only watched Twilight from the other side of the room as she argued with the herself. "I just hope she doesn't do anything she might regret later." Spike thought to himself.
No sooner that Spike had sent the letter there was a bright flash in the middle of the library and there stood Princes Celestia Twilight's eyes began to glow with happiness from seeing her teacher. "Princes thank goodness you came so fast! Not so funny now that the princes is here is it Discord."
Celestia stood next to spike trying to make seance herself what her student was talking to. "Spike how long has Twilight bin acting like this?"
"She started acting strange seance last night. She keeps saying that she can see discord but I keep trying to explain to her that he's not there."
Celestia made her way next to Twilight. "Twilight are you feeling alright?" She placed her hoof on her forehead "Well you don't have a temperature."
"Princes don't tell me you cant see him to he's right-" She slammed her hoof on the ground expecting to fell Discords body instead she felt the hard floor hitting her hoof. "here..." She looked back down only to see the floor. "His gone again!"
"Twilight who is gone again?"
"Discord!" Twilight said frantically looking around the room trying to find him.
"Twilight Discord is not here nor was he ever here."
"But I saw him I felt him under my hoofs." tears bean to run down her face her emotions began to run wild.
"T-this cant be right why can no one see him?"
Celestia wrapped hoof around her student like a mother comforting her young child. "It will be alright Twilight. Why don't you tell me what you have bin seeing."
"Well it started last night. I stayed up late writing the report about how we defeated discord." She jerked her head up looking over to her table. "Oh no I never fished the report!"
"Twilight the report can wait. what happened next?"
"Well after i was almost fished with the report I was a head of scheduled so I got up to stretch my hoofs and to get a drink.
But when i made my way to the kitchen then the candle I had on my desk when out. And that's when I saw him."
"Him? You mean Discord?"
"Yes. I-I think it was to dark I could barely see him. But I know it was him I couldn't make out much of his body but what I could see was his two yellow eyes." Her body began to shake as memory of the fear she felt from the sight of the eyes began to come back to her.
"When you say him what did you?"
"I used light spell to see him better but when the spell to affect he was gone. I mean I know what I saw but it made no seance. I thought he was a hallucination but then I thought he might of just teleported somewhere and I started to panic."
"I can understand your concern Twilight but." Celesta was lost in her thoughts something about twilight's story sounded to familiar to an incident that happened in the past.
"But what princes?"
"Twilight something about what has happened to you seems familiar but first. I would like you to come with me to Canterlot I think there is somepony that would understand your experiences better."
"And who is that princes?" Twilight asked with excitement that for once somepony believed what she said.
"But first there is something you must do for me Twilight."
"And whats that princes?"
"You need to wake up Twilight."
For Twilight Celestia's voice began to change sounding exactly like Discord. She took a step away from her teacher. "No this isn't happening again. THIS ISN'T A DREAM!"
Celestia had not changed except her voice but Discord voice came at almost in a clam and soothing voice. "Twilight whats wrong?" She tried to get closer to Twilight but was stopped by a blast of magic that hit the floor in front if her.
"STAY BACK!" Twilight barked as her horn still glowed from her magic. "STAY AWAY FROM ME DISCORD! STAY AWAY!" Twilight yelled as a bright light engulfed her.
"Twilight!" Celestia could only watch as her student vanished in front of her eyes.
Spike ran out of the other room as fast as his legs would let him. "What happen? Where's Twilight?!"
"Spike things are worse that I feared. Send a letter to Luna and tell her to meet me in the main hall of the castle."
Twilight had reappear in the sculpture garden. Twilight still shaken from what had happened moments ago. She looked around in disbelief everything was exactly as her dream. She walked slowly down the same path as her dream but this time there was no one there only her and the statues. She continued on the path making her way to where Discord's statue was in her dream. She could already see the statue where Discord was in her dream but something didn't seem right about the statue it seemed different. As she got closer more details could be seen of the statue its seemed smaller than she remembered. When she got close enough to clearly see the statue in full detail Twilight stopped and gasped at what she saw. There in front of her stood a statue but not of Discord but Celestia.
Luna paced around the main hall of the castle waiting for celestial to return. "I told her long ago that I was not crazy I knew I saw discord back then." Luna thought to herself. "but it seems history is trying to repeat itself once more."
The doors from the main hall swung open as celestial walked in followed by her royal guards.
"I want every pony to search all of ponyvill and Canterlot for Twilight. Be careful she is hallucinating and might attack."
The guards nodded as the took flight to look for Twilight.
Celestial turned her head to Luna but said nothing. Celestia couldn't gather the courage to say anything to Luna. But how could she ask for help from someone who went through the same nightmare many years ago. The they both stood silent. Luna was first to brake the silence. "It seems history is trying to repeat itself sister."
"yes... And I'm sorry." The apology caught Luna off guard.
"sorry for what Tia?"
"For not believing you all those years go. Your my sister and I should have believed you that you where seeing discord."
"I see. So it is true what spike's letter said. Twilight is now seeing discord but no one else can?"
"Yes. But I'm afraid that twilight may be loosing grip on reality. I can't imagine what twisted mind games Discord has plaid on her."
"I can." Luna said as old memories began to creep there way back into her mind. "He manipulates your thoughts how he wants to. He can make you see things and hear things."
"So he can control your like a puppet."
"No not entirely he can only really manipulate your senses. Back then he made it seem that no one cared about the night. And slowly that thought began to dig itself deeper and slowly began to seem as if where true."
"Causing you to become Nightmare moon."
"Yes."
"But what would discord want with twilight? What is his plan destroy the eliments of harmony?"
The doors to the main hall suddenly swung open as one of the royal gaurds ran in. "Princes twilight has was seen in the Sculpture garden."
Celestia and Luna rushed passed the guard as they heard the news of twilight's location.
"Why didn't I think to look there at first its so obvious!" Celestia yelled at herself as she made her way though the castle.
"You couldn't have known Tia."
"Yes I could twilight told me that she was there in her dream and that.." Celestia stopped at her tracks in the sudden realization of discords plan.
"Whats wrong?"
"I know whats discords planning he is trying to get free again. But I don't think that's all he is planning on doing."
"Well come on then Twilight is waiting and if we don't hurry so will Discord."
"Agreed the sculpture garden is not that far I just hope where not too late."
Twilight stood in font of the statue as tears filled her eyes. "This cant be."
Discords appeared behind Twilight with a smile. "Aww whats wrong Twilight." Discord slowly walked around Twilight making his was between her and the statue. "Come now Twilight you should be happy this statue marks the end of Celestia's rule over Equestria. And the beginning of a new era of Equesrtia."
Twilight could only stand her ground the tears still falling from her eyes. "You have gone too far discord! I wont let you get away with this!"
"Hehe. And what are you going to do? Brake the spell and release Celestia?" Discord acted innocent as if he had not realized he had just given twilight a way to stop him.
"As a matter of fact that's exactly what I'm going to do!" Twilight's horn slowly glowing brighter preparing the spell. At a distance the sound of two faint voices could be heard calling out someones name. Twilight paid no attention to the voices all she could concentrate was her spell.
"TWILIGHT STOP!" The voices called out once more as the got closer. But it was to late a beam shot from twilight's horn connecting twilight and the statue. For twilight all of time stopped the voices could no longer be heard and all she could see was a small patch of grass that supported her and the empty base of where the statue once stood. The sky was pitch black no stars no clouds and no moon.
"Where am I? ...Princes?"
"I'm sorry Twilight but your princes in another dimension." Discord emerged from the darkness walking to twilight.
"Discord what happened to the princes and where am I."
"Your own personal nightmare. And don't worry about the princess she is fine in fact you will be seeing her soon. Well at least part of you will be."
"At whats that's suppose to mean?!"
"So eager to find out then let me show you." Discords talon's snapped lifting Twilight off the ground. "What are you?" Twilight's body felt numb as she was lifted from the ground. She could sense she was losing all control over her body. To her it felt as if her very soul was being removed from her body. "No stop." She pleaded. Then just as fast as it happened it was over she could feel senses returning to her as she smashed into the ground.
Twilight felt groggy her vision was blurry she stumbled back into her feet. She checked herself over but saw nothing had happened to her. "Ha looks like your plan failed Discord."
"Did it now?" Twilight was caught by surprise by the her own voice answering her.
"Who said that?" Twilight turned to find another pony standing next to discord who looked like an exact copy herself. Her coat cooler was a dark shade of purple, her mane was completely black for except for her two highlights that had changed in to a indigo and the other white color.
"Well Nightfall don't be rude say hello." Talking to the pony next to him like a father talks to his child.
Celestia and Luna ran as fast as they could thought the sculpture garden to reach discord's statue. As they saw discords statue from a distance they could see twilight was standing in front of the statue with her horn glowing. Celestia and Luna called out to twilight as loud as they could.
"TWILIGHT STOP!" Celestia and Luna called out. But there was no response from twilight she stood her ground.
Before there eyes twilight used there magic as a beam connected her and the statue causing a dark sphere to form around twilight and statue. Celestia and Luna reached the black sphere as it completely encloses around them. Celestia frantically looking around the sphere for a way to enter the sphere.
"What kind of magic is this?" Celestia reached to the sphere received a electric shock though her hoof causing her to cringe in pain.
"Tia are you alright?!" Luna rushed to her sisters side.
"Y-yes I'm fine."
"I know you want to help twilight but throwing yourself into unknown danger wont help her. We just have to hope that she alright and that she can find a way out of there."
The two waited outside pacing around the sphere but nothing changed. Every second that passed felt like hours to Celestia as thoughts raced thought her mind of what could be happening to her student. Luna could only watch as her sister frantically paced around the sphere.
"She's bin in there for to long we need to get her out of there!" Celestia took a few paces away from the sphere before her horn began to glow.
Luna rushed over placing herself between her sister and the sphere."Tia wait we don't know how the sphere will react if we use magic on it. Remember what happened to you when you tried to touch it."
"I know but we have to try something."
"I'm sure the is fine she has defeated discord once and besides she's learned from the best."
"Your right..."
As the two stood outside a faint voice began to emit from the sphere. "Princes Celestia.
"Twilight?!"
Celesta and Luna both turned to the sphere as they heard her voice come from inside it. "Twilight can you hear me! Are you alight?" Celestia called to twilight looking around the sphere for her student. A pony appeared to emerge from the sphere. "Yes I am Celestia even better than ever."
"Twilight thank goodness your alright." Celestia waited with anticipation to see her student alright. But something seemed off when she saw twilight it wasn't until she was almost fully visible that Celestia saw that something was wrong with Twilight. "Twilight what happen to you? What has discord dun to you?"
As Nightfall fully emerged from the sphere she walked casually to Celestia. "Discord only showed me what true magic of chaos."
"What did you just say?" Celestia ask.
"Yes Celestia Discord and he will regain all control over Equestria." The sphere behind her began the fade away revealing discord standing free from his stone prison. Luna was the first to notice discord as Celestia was still to concerned with Nightfall to notice.
"Discord!" Luna yelled.
"Why hello Luna it's bin a wile. You look much different from last time I saw you."
"Discord what have you done to Twilight!" Celestia interrupted.
Twilight was still in shock of seeing the darker form of herself. "Who are you?"
"I'm you twilight cant you tell." Nightfall said as she began to approach twilight. "Besides what difference dues it make who I am. All that matters is that your out of Discords way."
Twilight took a step back as Nightfall approached. "You wont get rid of me so easily." Twilight jumped forward trying to pounce on Nightfall only to pass thought her and crash into the ground. "Let me guess your not real either."
"The only one that is not real is you twilight."
Discord watched as the two argued like small fillies. "As much as I would love you two keep fighting we have some unwanted guest outside. Nightfall be a dear and keep our guest occupied until daddy is finished in here."
"Yes Discord." Nightfall happily nodded as she made her way to the edge of the grass and walked off fading into the darkness.
"What did she mean by me not being real? And where is she going?!" Twilight demanded.
"Like I said Twilight to entertain our guest."
"And who are your so called guest?"
"Well why don't we go and meet them if your so excited to find out." With a snap of his fingers the sphere began to disappear slowly the light began to seep inside the sphere. As the sphere faded more three voices could be heard rapidly getting louder an more intense. But intently twilight could tell who's voices they where.
"That's princes Celestia, and princes Luna!"
"So it seems." Discord smiled as the sphere fully faded revealing himself to the princesses. Twilight saw something odd about discord he was completely calm of the situation.
"I don't know why your so calm Discord both Celestia and Luna are here. And there going to help me stop you." Discord ignored twilight brushing her off as if she was a gust of wind passing by.
"Discord!" Luna yelled noticing Discord as the sphere faded away.
"Why hello Luna it's bin a wile. You look much different from last time I saw you."
"Discord what have you done to Twilight!" Celestia interrupted.
"Don't worry princes I'm fine the other twilight you see is merely a fake." Twilight answered as she rushed to her teachers side but Celestia or Luna didn't seem to notice her.
"Why is she like this Discord!" Celestia demanded.
"What are you talking about I'm right here." Twilight reached with her hoof to catch Celestia's attention but as her hoof touches Celestia she merely passes through her.
"Discord change twilight back to normal!" Celestia demanded. Her blood boiled as every bit of her wanted to see discord suffer for what he has done.
"Sister you must calm down. I want Twilight back as much as you do but we must stay focused." Luna pleaded with her sister.
Discord could only laugh at Celestia's attitude. "This is a new side of you that I have never seen before Celestia. I must admit it’s quite annoying. So tell me Celestia how much are you willing to sacrifice to see your student again?" "What do you mean by sacrifice?" Celestia carefully asked following his every move.
"It’s simple really." Discord said as he snapped his fingers. Still next to Celestia Twilight began to feel as if her body was being pulled onto her old body. Her vision began to blur as the seconds passed until a sharp pain ran threw her body causing her to black out. A dark sphere emerged around Nightfall engulfing her completely. "This sphere will represents your student twilight."
Discord snapped his fingers once more this time causing a sphere to quickly engulf Luna. Before Luna could react the sphere was already closing around her. "Tia-!" Was all Luna could say before the sphere surrounded her. Celestia turned only to see her sister fade into the sphere.
"And that sphere will represent all of Equestria. Now listen closely Celestia because I'm saying this once. I will give you the chance to choose what happens right know to the ones you care for. The sphere that holds your sister if you choose it will come at a cost you will never see your student ever gain. Can you live with that? The thought of losing you precious student what would her parents think. How the princess willingly sacrificed their own child for her own benefit to remain the ruler of Equestria."
"And what I chose Twilight?!" She yelled.
"If you choose Twilight then all of Equestria will be mine forever. You will surrender the throne to me and never set foot back inside the kingdom ever again. Your sister will be turned into stone and be placed where I once stood in the garden.”
