Pinkie must go to a foreign land to obtain an artifact that will put her love to the test

This story is the Sequel to You Will always be remembered

It's been a month since Rainbow Dash's funeral, Pinkie is still sad over the loss of her friend/crush but her friends have been helping her through it. That is until one day Pinkie receives a book, but not just any book, no, it's a book about an ancient magical artifact, that will test the power of her love for Rainbow Dash. If her love is strong enough then she will be rewarded, but if her love is too weak, well lets just say she might see her friend sooner than she thinks.
I got this idea from Crimson Dawn and I just had to write it down so hope you enjoy, and as always I appreciate Creative Criticism.

It was a bright and sunny day in Ponyville and everypony was outside doing something productive, well except for a pink party pony. Pinkie Pie was inside Sugarcube Corner doing nothing other than being bored to death, she just didn't have anything to do. She was still missing a big part of her from the death of Rainbow Dash, she missed her so much but she found ways to occupy her mind from her rainbow maned friend. Well until today that is, not only was she bored but she was in pain from all the memories of her time with Rainbow. She considered going to see her other friends but remembered that, AppleJack had went to the rodeo competition being held in Appleloosa, Rarity was up to her withers in orders for her new shop in Manehatten, and Twilight was in her library looking over some things for Princess Celestia while the Princesses were visiting the Crystal Empire.

So Pinkie had nothing to do other then lounge around and- There was a banging on the front door. Pinkie got up to see who it was, even though the sign on the door said that they were open, she opened the door to find no one there except a book on the door step. Pinkie picked it up and looked around, "Hello anypony there? You left your book here!" but their was no one in sight so cautiously Pinkie brought the book inside. The Cakes were out of town for a baking competition and there had hardly been anypony that came in to buy a cake so Pinkie was alone. She looked at the book but found no title, a bit confused Pinkie turned the cover to see a white piece of paper, she picked it up and red the few lines that were on the paper 'How far would you go to see your love Miss Pinkamena Diane Pie?' Shocked Pinkie realised that the book was meant for her considering they used her full name, but the question is how did they know her full name? Only her friends and her family knew her full name.

Curious Pinkie got the book and started to look through it, She found a page that had a book mark in it and read the passage about an ancient magical artefact that should you show enough love for a certain Pony, It could cure them of any illness including death. but there was a catch, that if you hesitated or if your love all around wasn't strong enough you will suffer the consequences. Pinkie was surprised that such a powerful artefact actually existed, "Maybe I should--- No I can't what if my love isn't--- But what if it is, then I can have my Dashie back! But I don't even know where to start looking even if i did go for it" Pinkie decided she would go over to Twilight's tomorrow and ask on what she should do, Pinkie settled on that and went up to her room.

Pinkie awoke with the sun shining bright in her eyes remembering the task she set herself for today. She got out of bed and briskly walked out of Sugarcube Corner and onto the path leading to Twilight's castle. It was a quiet morning not many ponies were about, as Pinkie walked her thoughts went back to the mysterious book that had turned up on her door step, who would bring her a book and then just leave without Pinkie thanking them, normally Pinkie would instantly want to throw them a 'Thank you-for-giving-me-a-book-on-how-to-bring-my-love-back-to-life-party party' but that was the way her crazy self would think, and since the passing of Rainbow, Pinkie started thinking more rationally about the real world, She would still be herself just more rational. Pinkie came out of her thoughts when her muzzle met the library door, rubbing her sore muzzle Pinkie knocked on the door.

From the inside, Pinkie could hear rapid hoof steps nearing the door. A few moments later and a disheveled Twilight opened the door and winced at the bright light that attacked her vision, blinking a few times, Twilight glared at who had disturbed her from her work but her gaze softened when she saw that it was Pinkie Pie, "Hey Pinkie how are you feeling?" Twilight motioned for Pinkie to come inside. She obliged and walked inside.

"Im feeling alright, thanks for asking Twilight. Though I came here for your opinion" Pinkie stated

"My opinion on what, if I may ask?"

"Your opinion on what I should do"

"What do you mean? Is it to do with Rainbow Da-?" Pinkie cut Twilight off before she could finish.

"No I mean- Uhh, you know what let me start from the beginning" Pinkie started to tell Twilight about yesterday, how bored she was, the banging on the door, the mysterious book, the note, and the Information about the Magic Artefact. By the time Pinkie was finished Twilight was stunned, this certainly was something and Twilight was left speechless, " I just don't know what to do Twilight, thats why I came here, you are really smart so you should know what I should do"

"Im sorry Pinkie but It's really your choice, but if you want my opinion I would say follow your heart. I know that it's clichéd but it's true"

"Thanks Twilight, I guess I should go home and listen to my heart. I knew you were a princess for a reason, Bye!" Pinkie was out the door before Twilight could even process what Pinkie had just said.

"Wait, what did she mean by that?" Spike walked into the room and just shrugged. "uhhh, she still is the same old Pinkie Pie we knew and loved" Twilight smirked to herself and went to carry on with her work that Princess Celestia sent her.

Meanwhile Pinkie arrived back at Sugarcube Corner, Mr and Mrs. Cake were back and greeted Pinkie when she walked through the door. Normally she would stick around and play with Pound and Pumpkin, but her mind was racing and she rather go up to her room and think. So that's just what she did, she got up to her room and laid on her comfy bed. Pinkie tried to concentrate but her mind was distracted by what, she did not know. So just like last night she decided to sleep on it. As soon as Pinkie closed her eyes she was out like a light, and dreamed of nothing except Rainbow Dash.
