THE GREAT WAR
(The Beginning of United Equestria)
It all began on the planet Equestria, sometime after Twilight Sparkle had received her Alicorn wings, her title as Princess of Friendship, and returned from her first adventures in the Human World.
A Grand Galloping Gala was to be held the night after the day of her return, and all of Equestria, at those who had been invited, were eager to attend and celebrate.
However, the planet was being rocked by a series of mysterious and very savage earthquakes, though no one was able to trace the source and merely dismissed it all as just an act of nature.
At the same time, a strange pony appeared from Outer Space. His name was Rhymey, a genetically altered humanoid pony (A Space Alicorn) He had come from a planet called Unicornicopia, which was located on the other side of the galaxy. He had come in search of a missing artifact; a Star Stone-- a mystical jewel that housed incredible powers, hidden on Equestria by a race of Warping Fairies-- which Rhymey had required to bring back to his home-world to fight a war.
After a whole day of exploring Equestria, and being mistaken for Fluttershy, Rhymey had returned to his homeworld with the missing star stone in hand. Afterwhich, the Grand Galloping Gala had begun, but the savage earthquakes continued to shake the lands, following the arrival of the newly revived and nefarious Super Nightmare Moon, whom, rather than being vanquished by the Elements of Harmony, had been separated from Princess Luna, and ventured out into space where she spent all the time becoming more and more powerful than ever before.
Super Nightmare reveals that the earthquakes were her doing as a mere test of her new powers, and now she was convinced that she stand up to her enemies.
Along with her were three formally disgraced minions of an evil sorcerer, Dementia, Rep-Stallion, and Mysterious-- three evil humanoid-shaped ponies whom had met Nightmare prior to the attack and allied with her to rise to glory again.
Twilight Sparkle had attempted to reason with the minions by talking with them civilly, only to realize the minions had no interest in speaking or giving any form of mercy.
Princess Cadance attempted to reason with the evil ones by appealing to their hearts, only to discover much to her shock that the evil ones did not have hearts and her magic would have no effect on them whatsoever.
The battle was on; and though Twilight Sparkle, her friends, empowered with the elements of harmony and the entire Equestrian army put up a valiant effort, but they ultimate proved to be no match for the imposing power of Super Nightmare Moon and her allies. In midst of the battle, Nightmare destroyed Twilight’s wings (reverting her back to her normal Unicorn state) and with her unchallenged power, enslaved Equestria with an iron Fist, with her friends ruling by her side.
The world of Equestria had changed immensely, for a beautiful magical world, to a chaotic and post-apocalyptic nightmare, to which the new Queen Nightmare had named “Nighmareica.” Where she forced the ponies and other creatures into slavery, with the minions and nearly created army of almost ten million Shadowbolts.
Twilight Sparkle’s friends were forced into place slavery, serving their evil queen’s every desire, while Princess Celestia, Luna and Twilight Sparkle were imprisoned in the caverns beneath Nightmare Castle, unable to free themselves.
The savage earthquakes continued to shake the world, though Nightmare Moon was no longer causing it and could not seem to make it stop, but merely ignored all this and concentrated on her slaves, forcing them to dig the lands and build prisons and tributes to evil, with little rest breaks and rations.
Fortunately, a lone fairy spy from the planet Luminous had seen all this, and rushed to the Planet Unicornicopia to inform the intergalactic force “Starfleet” of the situation.
Grand Ruler Celesto, the commander in chief, founder of the organization and ruler of Unicornicopia decided to first bring the imprisoned princesses to his kingdom, where as he was reunited with Celestia… his long lost fiancée.
After a brief reunion and going over the information obtained, it was discovered that the constant earthquakes were the result of Nightmare’s recklessness. The planet was knocked into a series of irreversible and hyperactive chain reactions which would, in a matter of hours, cause the planet to explode into dust.
The only course of action was to overthrow Nightmare Moon and rescue the populace of the planet (Move them to a safer planet) before Equestria would explode.
The teams were divided, a team consisting of Princess Luna, Twilight Sparkle, and several Starfleet officers ventured back to Equestria to retrieve the Elements of Harmony, which were sealed in Nightmare’s castle, in hopes that their magic, combined with Starfleet’s incredible powers would defeat the evil army and release the prisoners.
As Celestia remained behind for safety reasons, Unicornicopia was soon attacked by Discord, whom had been transformed into a demonic dragon of himself and sent to attack the planet by an unknown evil.
Unable to face the great behemoth, the only option was to evacuate the entire populace to a safe place (A planet where they could take refuge)
As the planet is evacuated, Grand Ruler Celesto, overwhelmed and devastated by the destruction of his beloved empire, freezes with grief and anguish within the remains of Rainbow City.
The remaining handful of ponies and Celestia herself manage to comfort him and help him regather his strength, but too late as Discord unleashes his fury upon the floating royal palace which comes crashing down like meteor.
Combining their magic together, Celesto and Celestia from a hollow barrier to keep the destruction and massive mountain of rubble created in the crash at bay, but with the warping portals disabled they find themselves to be trapped on the planet.
Soon, everyone escapes underground into the sewer systems, and make their way to Professor Brain’s hangar and plan to use his newly created spaceship to escape the planet.
After running into Discord and putting up a struggle, the resourceful ponies managed to send him crashing down to the planets decaying surface where he was consumed by the flames and erupting magma.
The spacecraft rocketed out into space just as Unicornicopia, weak and unstable from all the destruction and devastated, exploded into a cloud of space dust, devastating the ponies onboard the tiny rocket.
Left no alternative, the space travelers made it to Equestria, which had little time left before it, too, would explode. It is discovered that their team was being brutally beaten by Super Nightmare Moon and her allies.
Now all reunited, the entire team (The Starfleet ponies and Twilight’s friends) joined together to evacuate the entire planet’s populace to safety, destroy the three evil ponies, and put and brought down the evil Nightmare once and for all.
However, this victory was short-lived…!
Titan, an evil sorcerer and long-time enemy of Starfleet reappears as a giant version of himself, having recently being revived after a previous encounter with Starfleet, reveals that he himself had freed Discord from his stone prison and used him to destroy Unicornicopia. Now fully revived and stronger than ever, Titan plots to destroy the remaining ponies and watch as Equestria starts to crumple from the Earthquakes and the stress from the battle, even going as far to crush the Star Stones and Elements of Harmony to dust in order to prevent their use against him. He even proceeds to draw Celesto and Celestia into his body in hopes of draining their power which would kill them.
The ponies manage to follow their rulers into Titan, where revealed his body is like a large interdimensional realm of nightmares and chaos. After braving all the illusions and tricks, they find their rulers, bound and being drained by powerful strands, and through some deep and powerful speech, managed to awaken their hidden powers, transported everyone back out, and merging the two rulers into singular, colossal being “Grand Celestial Ruler”
Utilizing their great power, GCR manages to overpower Titan and send him hurdling into the sun, effectively vaporizing he vile sorcerer.
With just seconds left as Equestria begins to explode, GCR transports themself and their friends to the refuge planet to rejoin all the two populaces just as Equestria blows into a cloud of dust.
Devastated by the loss of their home worlds, the GCR tells everyone that hope remains and they can use their believing, their good wishes, and their hopes to help make things better.
Utilizing this great force, the remains of the two shattered worlds form into a new planet, along with all the Equestrian cities and countries now infused with the powers of Unicornicopia within them for greater technologies and strength, and wider landmass. The Equestrian ponies themselves are transformed into humanoid shapes to match the Space Alicorns, and to better their lifestyles.
GCR separates into the two royal leaders who marry and join the two cultures together in a grand alliance for the start of their new world; United Equestria, where the Equestrians and the Space Ponies live together to learn much form each other, and to band together to defend their world and other form other evil forces that would dare come their way.
While few handfuls of reprehensible ponies and other creatures object to this change, all the rest have learned to accept and join together in the old and new combinations, and continue the traditions of fighting evil and sharing friendship and harmony throughout the cosmos.
