Okay, a couple people capture Princess Cadence to take her and sell her to the highest bidder. Though what they don't know is that one of Shining Armor's best friends is an assassin known as the Sandman, will they take her back or will they fail?
After Cadence is taken by a group of thief's Shining Armor can't do anything, he can't let Equestria know, it would ruin the Crystal Empire, though all hope isn't lost. One of Shining Armor's human friends, who has a particular set of skills that could help in getting her back.

The year is 2034, humanity has become better, the economy has become better for the people. The government is being lead by someone competent. Now the reason humanity has become great is because of Equestria, they showed us peace and harmony, plus two all mighty goddesses that could exterminate us like ants, which might turn a few heads the other way.
Now for Equestria it has been only 2 years so humanity really got it's shit together in that time. There are still a few people who don't like Equestrians, though those people are quieted down by those who like the ponies.
Anyway, the black market has expanded into Equestria, they're stronger than ever, Equestrians are now wanted by most of the big rich guys as "pets", it's weird, but the market for trafficking there is huge.
Many humans are now living in Equestria in peace and harmony, even a few ex assassins.
Now in the Crystal Empire princess Cadence, and Shining Armor, were sleeping soundly in their bed.
The room was as you all might guess was made of of blue crystals that shined with the moonlight, though not enough to wake them up, more of a serenity.
The floor was made of a rainbow made from different colors of crystal spiraling from the walls to the middle of the floor. There were assorted cabinets and mirrors, what you would see in most bedrooms, even a bathroom right next to the room. The bed had purple sheets and purple pillows made out of the smoothest silk, the mattress was supper cozy guaranteeing a good night's rest, except for tonight though.
Shining gave a heavy groan and woke up, he quietly said, "Darn, I gotta go."
He slowly rose up and slid off the bed, he walked out of the bedroom and to the bathroom. After about 30 minutes of sleeping on the toilet he walked out only to see three people carrying a unconscious Cadence to a helicopter.
The helicopter looked very high tech and it made almost no sounds, on the side of the copter was two snakes strangling a pony's neck. One of the men looked right at Shining, all of their faces were covered by assorted animal masks, he shouted.
"Shoot him you apes!" The other two men looked at him and pulled out of their shirts two sub machine guns and fired, Shining dove back into the bathroom making the bullets miss him, though by the time they ran out of ammo the helicopter was already leaving with them and Cadence.
He ran to the balcony and shouted, "CADENCE NOOOOOOOOOO!"
But it was too late, she was gone. Two guards broke down the door sears at the ready, one asked, "Sir, what happened?"
Shining looks at them and says, "Cadence is gone." He looks down and a single tear goes down his cheek.
The next day:
Shining was sitting at the dining table of the castle, one of the maids already feed and put Flurry Heart for a nap. Shining was holding a glass of wine with his magic, it was his first glass so he isn't drunk, but still sad.
He hears the door open and a crystal pony walks in, "Sir, mister Aks is here." The door opens a bit more and a human walks in, he's wearing a standard black suit with a solid red necktie, he had very fancy dress shoes that were also black. His face was white with green eyes, he had a large, but thin scar down his right cheek.
His hair was nice and neat, it swirled a bit in the back and swooped through the right side of his forehead, he was also well tanned, basically he was eye candy. He asked in a very smooth and slightly strict voice.
"Shining, what's wrong?"
He looks right at him and says, "Cadence was taken by a couple of humans in a one of those new stealth helicopters. I-I still can't believe it, who would do something like that?"
He sat down in the chair next to Shining and asked, "Were there any kind of logos on the helicopter?"
"Yes, it had two snakes chocking a pony, oh sweet Celestia, what if they are hurting her."
Aks said, "Shining, I think I know who took your wife."
"Ya right, she could be anywhere by now."
"They are located right here in the Crystal Empire."
"Wait. H-How do you know this?"
"Long story, I'm gonna go get some answers, just get a glass of wine for me when I get back, and maybe a new suit depending on how it goes."
Shining was just staring at him, Aks sat up and walked out, "What did he mean by a new suit?"
2 hours later:
Shining was in the throne room signing some paperwork, it was about whether he should let Cadence's disappearance go public, he wrote no, for now.
A guard opened the giant door the the throne room and said, "Sir, Aks is here, but, um, well you just have to see him."
The door opened up a bit more and Aks entered, his collar was stained with blood, and he had was holding a suitcase with handcuffs on it, including the hand of the person who last had it. His hands were covered in dried blood, though the rest of him was absolutely neat.
"What happened?" Asked Shining.
"In this suitcase is where they took Cadence, now how's about one of your guards gets me a fucking cocktail?"
The guard next to him nodded and left, "Cadence is well, she's already on Earth, in the Tower sadly."
"What's the Tower?"
"It is the headquarters of the biggest underworld crime boss to ever live, I've worked with him a couple of times, but he is an absolute asshole."
"You worked for a crime boss?! And why is there a hand on that suitcase?!"
"Well, it was heavily guarded and I... Put them to bed so to speak, there were almost 20 of them there."
"What?!"
"I gave the guy who had the suitcase a chance to survive if he gave me the suitcase, he let me cut off his hand."
"Where is he?"
"Well, I honestly don't know, after I shot him in the head the cleaners took care of the rest."
"What are cleaners?!"
"They clean up crimes, from a big warehouse of 23 bodies and covered in blood to a now rentable and very clean warehouse."
"You killed them?! But you said you have never even held a gun!"
"I lied, after I retired I took a new life here, little did I know I would be friends with the royal family, nor did I think I would have to ever go back to that world. I'm 24, I've worked for 3 years, and I was already known far and wide, do you know my underworld name?"
"No, do I wanna know?"
"Yes and I think you heard of me, they called me the... The Sandman, my target always went to sleep. For good, now come with me to the basement if you wanna see your wife again."
Aks walked out grabbing the cocktail on the way, "And bring a sledge hammer!" Shouted Aks.
Shining shrugged and joined Aks, with the sledge hammer. The basement wasn't made out of the shiny crystals we see in the show, but more of a darker green crystal, there were cells all on the sides, now they are empty at the moment, but that's not where Aks and Shining are going.
They're going to a far dark corner of the armory, there were three guards getting their gear off, Aks said, "Beat it, I got work here."
One of them asked, "Who is gonna back you up?"
Shining Armor comes up and says, "That's an order."
"Yes sir!" They shouted and left. Aks handed Shining the drink and grabbed the sledge hammer. He took the hammer and slammed the ground over and over again for about 20 minutes.
"So Aks, where is this Tower with my wife?"
"It's -ergh, in New York, luckily the Continental is located there to."
"What's the Continental?"
"It's a hotel for the underworld, that is one of the only places where you can't be hunted. It's the rules. If you don't obey the rules, well I honestly don't know, anyone who broke them never lived very long after. Though that place is very fancy, perfect for the high level operatives, like me.
Don't worry, I've done stuff like this before, trust me and Cadence will return alive."
"I'd be very mad at you for lying to me all those years about who you were, but since you're getting my wife back I won't be mad, does it allow Flurry Heart?"
"Um, I am not sure, though you can be guaranteed they won't attack here again."
"What makes you say that?"
"Well, for one this place just increased security by a crap ton. They will be trying to AVOID this place. Don't worry, she'll be alright, I talked with the staff, she is in good.... Hoofs. Ya I'm going with hoo-" He was cut short by hitting something wood.
Aks cleared some of the broken crystals and pulled on the old handle. The whole box lifted up, it wasn't enough to leave the floor, but now he can reach it.
It was a spruce chest, it was nicely polished for being underground for all that time. There was a pin pad on the front of the box, "You can not tell anyone what's in here, just close it after we are done."
"Sure, what's inside?"
"These." Aks opened the chest revealing all the guns, ammo, gold coins, and another suit with body armor in it. There were 2 pistols, 3 grenades, 10 rolls of gold coins with 50 coins in each, there was also a custom sniper riffle that can't be identified.
The vest was kevlar under a solid black silk. There were assorted bullets and ammo all around the sides. "This is what made me the 7 billion dollars I live on."
"7 billion?! How many jobs have you done again?"
"237, to be exact."
"And that's in 3 years you said?"
"Yup." He says cocking his magnum.
"I can see how you got all that cash. When do we leave?"
"As soon as you can get a bag together we can leave."
"Really, what about you?"
"I have all I need here." He gets a duffle bag from the back of the chest and fluffs it out, he puts his guns in it as Shining says.
"I'll go get my bag, just give me an hour."
"Why an hour?"
"I need time to say good bye to Flurry Heart, and I need 45 minutes to decide what I'm gonna bring."
"Alright, 1 hour, then we take my personal jet."
"Wait, you have a jet?"
"Yes, and some very nice ladies."
"Ah, so you... Helped them?" He said winking.
"Oh no, I treat them with respect, I haven't done anything like that to my staff. I don't want anything to do with anything with a lawsuit, they see anything, me in a newspaper picture, a news story, anything they could see and I'd have to disappear again, like I did from Mexico to Equestria."
"What did you do in Mexico?"
"Me and a few other amigo's promised what we did there, stays there. Relax, that one didn't have me kill anybody."
"Okay, I'll see you in an hour."
"See you."
Shining walked away as Aks said, "45 minutes to pack a bag? Wow, please don't let it all be cloths."
It has been an hour, Shining Armor and Aks should have meet at the airport, but Shining Armor was late. Oh this isn't the terminal, this is the private jet housing. Aks was waiting outside the hanger, he was leaning back on the metal hanger out of boredom, though on good side, his driver had already started the plane.
Aks was about to call Shining until he heard his car drive up. His driver opened the back door and Shining stepped out, the driver opened the trunk and grabbed two giant bags, each weighing about 35 pounds each, I think, maybe heavier?
"Sorry I'm late, traffic in here is ridiculous at this time, so where is this jet?"
Aks pushed the button he was leaning next to and the doors slowly opened to reveal a nice brand new sonic jet, the newest of he new, it was pure white, the two engines on the back were well, about the size they are now. Except there are two more jet engines on the wings of the craft allowing it to go through the portal to Earth.
"What are we waiting for, get your bags on there and lets shove off, we gotta talk about my fee though." Said Aks.
"Fee?"
"It's not much, but with me doing all this for you I would like you to help me on this."
"Alright lets get on the plane and talk about it."
10 minutes after takeoff:
The interior of the plane was gorgeous, I man it was exactly like the standard jet with a giant bar at the back of the plane. Aks was behind it mixing some drinks while Shining was sitting on some nice clean cloth chairs, not the ones in coach, but ones that make your bed jealous.
"What would you like to drink Shining?"
"Um, I think I'm good for now, but thanks."
"No problem." He said bringing a bottle of Jack Daniels. After Aks sat down Shining asked.
"So, what was that price for getting my wife back?"
"Oh yes, don't worry it's not anything illegal, yet."
"What do you mean yet?"
"I really wish you'd ignore that, the deal is for one favor of anything, hiding, weapons, a body bag? All of that crap, and I need this second part."
"What is it already?!"
"Alright, alright, chill dude, it's. You get me a date with dragon lord Ember."
"Wait, what?"
"I like her very much, plus with my coolness I think I would stand a chance at getting her, even though I'm a human I think it could work, especially with the favor I am gonna ask of you later."
"What's the favor then?"
"I'll tell you when we get Cadence back."
"Oh, okay? I think I can put in a word to Twily, she'll love to see how you two would turn out."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Thank you so much dude, you know what, I'm so happy I'll let you pull the trigger of the guy who actually took your wife, just point him out before I do my final run."
"Okay?" Aks lifted his bottle and drank out of it, he chugged it all down, not in one gulp, but the bottle was gone in 30 seconds, after a few minutes Aks was drunk as hell, he said.
"Ya are mah... urp best friend, good night." And he fell asleep for the rest of the 3 hour flight.
They were in a nice Lamborghini aventador, it was solid black and Aks was not as hung over as you would think. He was driving down a nice long New York street with almost no traffic, strangely.
"Hey Shining, how fast do you think this thing can go?"
"Um, I think 200 maybe?"
"On the face value, I modified this bad boy to go 275 miles per hour, I used to do minor street racing, I would still be street racing if I didn't become an assassin."
"Isn't that still illegal?"
"It's less legal then putting a gun to someone pleading for life and pulling the trigger."
"True."
"Well, our stop is like a block away, let me do all the talking okay? You don't know these people like I do."
"Alright, after we get a room how long until we can get my wife?"
"Relax, they don't know I'm on their trail yet, I got the location and two tickets to go to her auction."
"Auction?! My wife!"
"Yes, there are many who would pay top dollar for her to be, well a pet and maybe more, some dark things I don't want you to have to think about."
"I will kill them if they put one hand on my wife!"
"Calm down, they won't do anything until she has been bought, by then I should have killed all the guards and slit the throats of a few high value targets, I could make a bit more money in this, this's the hotel."
He points to a giant 30 story building, it was all glass on the higher floors, though the first floors had beautiful stone carved in saying the "Continental Hotel."
"You can relax in here, all the people here obey the rules and if they don't, well they're already dead." He pulled up in front of the hotel and a valet opened Aks's door, another one opened Shining's door.
"Take good care of her." Aks handed the keys to the young man, two men wearing suits and black sunglasses walked from the top on the small set of stairs and took the bags in.
Aks and Shining Armor entered the luxurious building, the lobby was absolutely stunning, the floor was solid quartz with a nice red carpet leading to the stairs, elevators, and the concierge (the one you talk to to get your room if you didn't know)
There were chairs and tables set up on the right side of the hotel, each was nice comfy leather, the tables were also quartz and they looked like they were coming out of the floor. The concierge desk was rounded with solid spruce wood carved to an almost angelic pattern.
The top part was covered by metal bars with a hole where the concierge could do business. The left had a set of stairs if you didn't want to use the elevators
The hotel had a very nice smell to it, it was lavender mixed with a hint of cinnamon.
Aks walked up to the concierge followed by Shining Armor, the man was black, he was about 30 or so, maybe younger, he had brown eyes and was bald. He also wore a suit, he wore glasses and had a nice smile.
He said in a nice calming voice, "Welcome back mister Sandman, are you here on business, or pleasure?"
"Business, I am here with my friend to get some business done."
"Do you want your personal suite sir?"
"Yes I do Shawn."
(It's pronounced John, because he is from a french family so he says it differently)
"Alright, here is your key, and might I ask if you are coming out of retirement? You were so good, what happened?"
"Well, I just didn't like the life I was living, and I'll tell you if I'm coming back after I finish this job. Oh thank you for the key, now how is the club these days?"
Aks slid Shawn a gold coin.
"I have to say the club is doing wonderfully, visit it anytime you wish sir."
"Thanks, have a good one Shawn."
"Same to you sir." Aks and Shining walked over to the golden elevators, one opened up right as they got up there, Aks and Shining entered the elevator and went up to Aks' personal suite.
The elevator doors opened to expose a big hallway, the walls were gold plated and there was a red carpet down the center of it. "My suite is at the end." They started to walk down it, Shining Armor asked.
"So, when is this auction?"
"It's tomorrow night at a giant mansion, lots of guards, and soon to hold lots of bodies."
"I still find it weird that you are an assassin, the Sandman none the less."
"Heh, it took a lot to get that name and you have only known me for a year or so, now after we relax in the room I will go to the club."
"Where is it?"
"You are asking a lot of questions, well it is in the basement of this hotel, and don't worry, our id's for the party aren't as a gay couple.
He was gonna give me some as if we were a couple, but I shot the man struggling to escape and he gave us ones that state we are friends, our files say we are going 'stag' on this party."
"What is stag?"
"I think it's, I don't know, it's nothing gay, and I wanted to sound.... Hip if you will."
"I hear you, I wonder what's happening to my wife right now? I hope she is okay."
"Don't worry, I worked with these people a couple of times, and I know they will not hurt the quote merchandise, she will be okay, for now."
"For now?"
"Until someone buys her, in that case, we both are dead."
"Um, alright? I think."
"This's the room, don't worry, I'll take the couch."
"The couch?"
"Ya, I assumed that when we free her she will wanna fuck and it's better on a giant bed then a little couch, well little in terms of little, but big in terms of couch."
"What?" Asked Shining.
"Never mind, it's easier to see. Speaking of, we've been at my door since I said, you are asking a lot of questions."
He swiped the key card and a green light flared up on the door handle signaling it's okay to open, Aks opened the door and to Shining's surprise it wasn't at all small.
The room was huge, the walls were velvet, the floor was a nice dark red and felt pleasing to the foot, or hoof. The first part of the room had a couch in front near the door, a tv in front of the couch, and a table in front of the couch before the flat screen plasma tv, it had a goody basket with assorted stuff, none of it illegal.
The second part was a bedroom, the room had two openings, though you could see over the bed, it was a round bed with the finest white covers, and a 20,000 dollar mattress, there was a bathroom to the right side of the bed and the whole front of the bed was facing the wide open window, it had a nice view, you could see down it and felt like you're on a cloud.
Shining was stunned, it was bigger then his den, Shining asked.
"So, this is your suite?"
"Yep, I paid over the phone 750,000 dollars just to get it, that tip I gave him was about 200 dollars, remember, I'm rich as hell! Now how's about room service? They make a gourmet salad, made from the finest ingredients, what'd ya say mate?"
"hmm, I am pretty hungry."
"I'll go call them. Oh and don't touch the goody bag, that thing's mine."
Aks walked to the bedroom while Shining went to the bathroom. Aks quietly says, "I really hope we can get her back, nobody takes my friends away from me, nor my other friends like Shining, why am I still talking, heh you all don't care anyway."
After unpacking their bags Shining Armor fell asleep from the long flight and the sleepless night Cadence was taken. Now Aks on the other hand was in the elevator heading down to the club. Aks did change his suit, though it was almost exactly like the other one, except this one had a black tie.
Once the elevator reached the basement floor the doors opened to a washing room, there were various employs of the hotel washing assorted cloths and sheets. He walked past all of them, none of them looked at him nor did he look at any of them.
Once he got to the end of the washing machines and turned left to a small corridor which had a strong iron door at the end. He walked to it and inserted a gold coin into the slot. He waited for a minute until a part of the wall slid open to reveal a pair of eyes under iron bars, the wall closed again and the door opened.
Aks walked in, the club was very hot, I mean there was heavy dubstep in the background along with tons of little lasers. There were tables on the sides and a giant dance floor was in the center, there was a lot of people dancing and almost all of the tables were taken.
Aks walked up to the bar, and a girl turned to him so she could take his order, she was a shorter Asian girl with bright pink hair wearing a nice dress. She instantly recognized him, she said in a very cute and high pitched voice.
"Oh hey Aks, it's been a long time, how are things?"
"They were going great, retirement was very nice, though something has come up forcing me to go back to work, I already killed 20 something people. I need a Dr. Pepper with two cherries in it."
"Odd request, but alright, I'm surprised you didn't order a real drink."
"Heh, I just felt like something that wouldn't get me drunk, I already woke up with a hangover once today. I don't need another."
"Alright, that'll be twelve dollars." He gave her the cash and she gave him the drink, "Oh I almost forgot to tell you, Amy is at table 12."
"Wait, Amy?!"
"Yes."
"H-How? I need to talk to her now, give me a shot of tequila, NOW."
"Alright, this one's on the house."
He took the shot and drank it, he staggered a bit, then said, "Alright, I'm ready to talk to her."
"Wait, one question."
"What is it?" Asked Aks.
"Are you coming out of retirement?"
"I'll tell you once I've decided." He walked away from her and to the table with Amy.
Amy was blond and white, she had on a dark red dress and was looking quite stressed, he asked, "Is this seat taken?" She looked up at him with bright blue eyes, she just stared at him.
"A-Aks?"
"That's right, I think we need to talk." He sat down in the chair on the other side of the table, she asked in a nervous voice.
"W-W-What are you doing here? I thought you retired."
"Well, something has drove me back in this world one last time, now, tell me why you disappeared after our last mission?"
"Well, you know how they made us get naked and to make sure we didn't have anything, and forced us into a cell for two weeks?"
"Ya, we... Explored each other quite a bit, I thought we could of been something, why after 9 months you send me a letter saying I would never see you again?"
"Well, because I have a new life, and because you have a son." He just stared at her, all he could say was.
"I-I-I hav-v-ve a s-s-s-son?" She nodded, "Oh my fucking god! I'm a father, but I... I think I need a drink or two. How old is he?"
"He's 3."
"And is that a wedding ring?"
"Yes, Walter and I meet at the supermarket, I was getting some eggs and we bumped into each other, we got married shortly after I had Aks. Jr."
"So you even gave him my name, well it is a very cool name so I'll give you that. Can I see him?"
"Walter doesn't want him to meet his ex assassin Dad with a minor alcohol addiction, it would send the wrong message, he can't even know I was an assassin too."
"I just have one more question, then I'll leave you alone."
"What is it?"
"Does he make you happy?"
"Yes, he is a great father and an even better husband, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, and I'm so sorry you can't see him."
"I'll go now, I hope you have a great life with Aks. Jr, and I hope he becomes a better man then me." Aks got up and started to walk away, until she shouted.
"Wait!" He turned around, "He has your eyes." Aks turns back around and headed out of the club.
Aks opens the door to his suite and sees Shining Armor walking out of the bathroom with a bath towel, since Equestrians don't wear cloths usually, Aks just waved it off. He sat down on the bed and sighed, he grabbed the champagne and a glass, he filled the glass up and placed the champagne bottle back in the ice.
He was just sitting there, staring out of the window, he took a sip of the champagne and sighed. Shining Armor took notice and sat down next to him.
Ask didn't look at him nor nothing, he just asked, "Shining, how is it being a father?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Just answer the fucking question."
"Okay, it's absolutely great, I love it so much, I wouldn't give it up for the world."
"How would you take just figuring out that Cadence had Flurry Heart without you and is married to another stallion?"
"I would be heart broken, and a bit pissed off, though why are you asking me this?"
"Well, in my line of work you occasionally meet a girl, well after being put into a cell together for two weeks will make you fall in love and, well, do it."
"I think I'm starting to see it."
"After we broke out we went our separate ways, all I got was a letter after 9 months saying I would never see her again. Well, I just saw her in the club. And, and. I have a son."
"What?"
"I-I have a son, I have a son, and I'm not allowed to ever see him."
"Why?"
"Walter, her new husband and Aks. Jr's great dad doesn't want him to follow the road I did. I accept that and I'm willing to keep my distance, though I just can't help to think what kind of life I could have had, I could have been there for him, I should have been his dad. Sharing his first moments, his first walk, his first words, all the way to him going to college and becoming a great and successful person.
I missed all of that, I lost a life, a life of peace and love. She took it from me and gave it to some guy named Walter. Hell, even his name says boring dad." A tear starts to run down his cheek.
"Ouch, I can tell you need some time to think, so I'll leave you alone for a while, maybe raid the cafe next door."
"Okay, just don't talk to anybody."
"Hey, it's not your fault, just don't beat yourself up to much." Aks looked down and said.
"Alright. Get me something will ya?"
"Sure." He takes the towel off and walks out of the room. Aks says to himself, "I would have been a great dad."
After a long night of pondering, we come to the morning, Aks was sleeping very soundly on the couch, Shining Armor was on the bed snoring his ass off.
Now the phone next to the couch started to ring, Aks groaned a bit a picked it up.
"This is your morning wake up call, you asked for this, the time is ten am, and the weather is very nice today. Perfect for a killing spree. Good day sir." click.
The call ended and Aks rolled off the couch, now this time he had a pretty serious hangover going on. "Fuck, time to get some shit done." He picked the phone back up,
"Room service, how may we help you?"
"Yes I will like the Continental breakfast please."
"Right away sir." The call ended and he put the phone down. Now he heard a loud pop, he looked to his bed thinking it was a gun, though it was just Shining popping his back.
"Morning Shining, ready to take your wife back?"
"Coffee first."
"My man, though you should take that phrase to your grave, I know she would get a bit ticked off, that's no sex for a week."
"Alright, so what should we do?"
"First we eat breakfast, which I just ordered. Then we each take a shower and head down to the Garriet, that's the finest suit store on Earth, and it gives 20% off if you are staying here. Tip, don't ask how much, just pay them."
"Why?"
"Well, the people that are going there are high society, and they only wear the best of the best in terms of cloths. Oh and we need to redo your mane and tail, you know, a disguise."
"Ah, I get it."
"After that we hang around the hotel for a few hours, then we raid the party, you won't do anything, all you will do is take Cadence and run, just run, don't even think about using magic, they will put a spell on that negates your magic."
Knock, knock. "Ah, that'll be breakfast."
Now then, after they got some breakfast in, they shopped around Garriet's and got some very nice suits. Oh, since the owner of the business owed Aks a favor he got the suits for free.
Next they headed to a hair salon, all Aks did was play on his phone and talk with Shining Armor a bit.
After that they headed back to the hotel, Shining Armor's mane and tail were dyed green, though it held the same shape. Shining was in the bathroom getting his suit on, Aks on the other hand was doing chin ups using a chin up bar right in the living room, specially made for hard exercise.
His big muscles showing and sweat glistening off his body, he had a tattoo on his back, it said " Sicarius," which means assassin. a mark of his stature.
(two years of latin really does pay off, go figure, though it's still boring as hell, for all those latin majors I am sorry, it's just not for me)
Shining shouted, "Hey Aks?"
"Ya?"
"How much longer do we have to wait before we can get Cadence back?"
"Not long, two more hours and we shall leave."
"What will we do in two hours?"
"You can do what you want here, I was gonna clean out all my weapons and reload them, that should take two hours."
"Ah, how many guns are you gonna bring again?"
"Two, two pistols with silencers on them. That and a crap ton of ammo. Just so you know there is a chance Cadence will not come out of this alive."
"If we die right?"
"Well duh, but also. There will be a lot of guards there, I don't know if ether of you will get out alive, you two haven't spent your whole life's training under the two previous best assassins on the planet."
"Wait, who are they?"
"My parents."
"Really? They always seemed like the two nicest humans I have ever known."
"Well, they’re nice people, but they were the top of the top of assassins. Though they have always been nice people, and even better parents."
"That is the fifth weirdest thing that I have heard today."
"Only fifth? Then I haven't shown you shit yet, though a shit fest is what's to come for tonight."
"I feel weird about this."
"About what exactly, there's a lot to take in."
"Well, I’m going into something that might kill me, and I am not scared at all. I'm actually excited, but with a few butterflies in my stomach as well."
"That's how we all feel on our first missions, just don't get cocky, there is a lot to come."
After spending two hours watching tv and cleaning guns they got on the road and headed to the mansion. They were almost at the front gate of the mansion.
They were driving in his lamborghini, Aks was in a very nice suit and Shining was also in a black suit for ponies, his cutie mark was painted over to look like a pile of money. Which was really nice for the place they're about to attack.
"You ready Shining, after we enter the gate you can NOT go back, got it?"
"Yes, I take it you do most of the talking?"
"Duh, remember, these people got where they are from a lot of bad shit. For example, one of them is the CEO of E corp, he got there from taking 50% of all funds from charities, he calls it tax, I'll kill these fucks if I get the chance. Though Cadence comes first of course."
"She does, is that the gate?"
"Yes it is, lets do this." Aks' car stops at the guard post, the guard was dressed in a suit with dark sunglasses.
"Invites." Aks doesn't even look at him and handed over their invites. He looked over them for a minute and typed something in the computer at the little guard post. He stepped back out and handed them their invites back, "Have a night."
The gate opens and Aks drives away. "Heh, that was the easy part." Shining Armor just looked at him.
They drove up behind a viper, a very sexy viper, "That's the rental house." Said Aks, it was about 3 floors and from ground level it was huge the brick work was beautiful.
"Wow," was all Shining could say.
"Sad to say this house will be blown up after the auction."
"Why?"
"To hide their evidence, even if they clean it up there will always be evidence, if they burn it there's nothing left for them to use."
Just as he finishes two valet's open the doors and they step out while one of the valet goes and parks the car. They walk up the stairs without saying a word, just staring at the door.
"Aks, good luck in there."
"You too." They reach the doorman who checked the invites, he of course lets them in.
The inside of the house is absolutely beautiful, it was mostly white, with black railings for the stairs, there two staircases looping up right past the door to a small balcony with one door that had one guard.
There was also a glass chandelier which was bigger than it needed to be, the walls had gold trim with columns for decoration.
There were guests all over the room talking and being served champagne. A waiter offered champagne to Aks and Shining, Aks grabbed a glass while Shining shook his head.
Aks drank the whole glass and set it on a nearby table, he looked around and saw 4 security guards around the room, along with a door guarded by another guard. Aks walked up the stairs and towards the door. the guard looks at him and was about to say something until Aks asked him,
"Excuse me, do you know where the washroom is? One of the butlers grazed by suit."
"Oh, it's right over ther-" He was cut off by Aks shoving a knife in his throat, he covered the guard's mouth as he fell down dying, luckily no one saws the guard's death.
Aks got back up and dragged the body through the door, he hid it in a small closet right next to the door, the new hallway had no guards, though it held the same style, as before, though it had paintings on the walls.
He walked down the hallway until he saw a small corridor coming out of the hallway, he looked down it and saw two guards guarding a door, probably the control room.
Aks took out his pistol and put on a silencer (since this is one of the cool action/fiction movies the gun won't make any noise)
He started to walk down the hallway with the gun in his hand, one of the guards was gonna say something, though Aks raised his gun before the guards could and he put a bullet in each of their heads.
Now luckily the control room didn't hear anything, or there would be guards running out of there. Aks sat next to the door and took out a flash bang grenade, he pulled the pin and waited a second, Aks opened the door slightly and threw it in.
Aks heard a small bang and he stood up with his gun at the ready, he opened the door and there were 5 guards sitting down covering their eyes along with 5 crewmen operating the lights and everything else. Aks cleaned out his clip and shot them all in the head.
He checked the room for any guns or stuff, he looked to his right and saw two smg's hanging up, each with a 45 round mag, he smiled and put away his pistol.
Aks used one of the cameras and looked into the hallway he was just in, he saw 5 guards lining up holding pistols with silencers. Aks smiled as he turned to the door, he jumped out having his body sideways, the guards were a bit surprised which let Aks clean out his smg's.
All the guards fell on the ground dead, one of them struggled a bit, though Aks put a foot on his chest, took his gun and finished him off. Now all the guards started to make their way towards Aks' location, he always enjoyed having them follow him.
When the guards got to the hallway they looked around, they saw nothing, though what they didn't know was Aks was sneaking up behind them with two knifes.
They started to walk towards the bodies of their fallen guards, they let their guard down, one of them said.
"Sir, the assassin is gone, search all the guests." Aks silently killed the two back guards followed by him throwing his two knives into the next two guard's heads. The final one turned around as Aks had his gun pointed to his head, he pulled the trigger and the guard was missing some brain matter.
Aks reloaded his guns and walked towards the second floor to shoot some of the guests.
Now Shining Armor was waiting in the lobby talking with a couple of the big money targets, "So, you say if you can kill this guy you can get free labor in Africa raising your profits through the roof?"
"Yes, though it's not only Africa, China, Iraq, Cuba, all those places." Said the businessman.
"Hmm, I need to get some more champagne, brb as the kids say." He looked at Shining with a confused look, though Shining Armor just walked away.
"That was close, these people really are as bad as he said they are." As he finished one of the guards took out a mic and said over the speakers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the auction will begin in just a moment, please make your way to the auction room, everyone will get a seat. I wish you all luck."
Two giant doors open up letting them in.
Shining Armor had to follow them, the auction room was giant, the ceiling was larger then any other room in the Crystal Empire. The seats were in a theater pattern, with the front seats at eye level to the polished wood stage. Each row of seats was raised a bit, each chair was made of the finest leather, with nice comfy armrests. Everyone made their way to their seats except for Shining Armor.
He walked to a guard and asked him, "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?"
"Second floor past the guarded door, just tell Edgar I gave you permission."
"Alright, thanks." The guard nodded and Shining left.
After making his way past the door the looked into the hallway Aks was just in, he saw 7 bodies all lying down with gun shots in their heads. He walked up a bit only to be jumped by someone, Shining was taken to the ground with a knife to his neck, he opened his eyes only to see Aks.
He had a very cold and emotionless look on his face, "Shining, didn't know it was you, I just heard footsteps." He got off him and Shining got to his feet.
"H-How many of these guards did you kill?"
"Hmm, I think about 17 so far, and more are coming so you might wanna go back to the auction room, don't let Cadence get bought, bid as high as you can if I'm not there in time."
"Alright." Shining Armor walked out and Aks ran to the farthest room.
Once he made it there he saw a room saying "Personal suite" he thought for a minute and entered. After opening the door he was met by three guards with smg's pointed to his head.
"Do you all really wanna die here." They looked at each other giving Aks enough time to pull out his pistol and shooting all of them in the head. They fell down dead.
Now Aks looked around the room and realized he was in a storage room for all the items being sold, just then he heard a door all the way at the other side of the room open, he picked up two of the guards smg's and pointed them at the door.
four guards entered with pistols at the ready, Aks smiled and emptied the clips of his guns, two of the guards died and one was shot in the leg.
The last one took cover behind a crate, as did Aks when he ran out. He took out his pistol and rolled out of his cover, though there was no guard to be seen, he did shoot one bullet into the suffering guard's head to ease his pain.
He looked around only to have the guard jump on his back, Aks flung him off only for the guard to kick the gun out of his hand and punch him in the face.
Aks stumbled a bit and charged at the guard, Aks threw a jab only for the guard to dodge it, now Aks did give a sidekick to his thy. Causing the guard to stumble a bit, Aks delivered two uppercuts to the guard's face making him fall down. Aks dove behind the guard and got a chock hold on the guard.
He was helpless to Aks chocking the life out of him, he resisted for a bit until he lost his breath, Aks the broke his neck and got up. He put his hand to his lip and there was a bit of blood.
"Nice try, I'll give you that." Aks kicked the guard's body only to hear a muffled help. He looked to a larger crate and walked over to it. He could hear chains and a muffle, there was a small lock to the crate, he just shot it and it unlocked.
He he walked in the semi-small crate only to find Princess Cadence chained to a poll with a gag in her mouth and a ring on her horn blocking her magic, she was also blindfolded.
Aks got on one knee and took the gag out of her mouth, "Get away you!" Aks recovered her mouth with his hand.
"Sheesh, I forgot how annoying her cries were." He took the blindfold off and he saw her pink eyes, "It's okay Cadence, it's me, Aks, Shining and I are gonna get you out of here."
"Thank Celestia, I'm glad to see you, though how did you get here?"
"Long story, I'll get you out of here, trust me, I've done stuff like this many times." Two guards run in through the door followed by Aks taking out his gun and killing them without even looking, Cadence was almost in shock.
Here is one of the nicest humans she has ever meet killing two living beings without even caring. "Who are you?"
"Long story for another day, come on." He got the chain off and took off the ring off her horn. They ran out of that room and out into the hallway.
Aks broke down the door to the lobby and they jumped from the second floor to the first, the guards took out their guns only for Aks to shoot them in their heads, "Monster kill bitch." Said Aks.
Shining Armor heard the gun shots, now the rest of the guests were terrified because they’re used to sending people to kill others, not the other way around. He ran out of the auction room and joined up with Aks and Cadence.
They ran out the door and Aks' car was sitting there waiting for him, the valets did nothing but stand out of the way, Aks jumped into the driver's seat while Shining Armor and Cadence got in on the other side.
Aks stepped on the gas and shifted into first gear, he started to drive off only for 5 guards with automatic weapons to fire upon Aks, now none of the shots hit him, because he was very far away and their goons, they never hit anything. The guards knew they wouldn't be able to catch up to them so the guards didn't even try.
After a few miles Aks said, "Oh my god, I forgot how much I missed doing stuff like that, it's nice to go back sometimes. What do you two think?"
Cadence was just staring out of the window from shock, while Shining said, "Let's never do that again." Which made Aks bellow out a heavy gut laugh.
After an hour driving they finally made it to the Continental. The valets let them out of the car, now they were shocked to see an alicorn exit the car. The three of them walked up the stairs and entered the hotel, the lobby had a decent amount of people sitting in the chairs waiting for their rooms.
Aks said, "Shining, take her to my suite, I just gotta ask Shawn something."
"Alright, come on Cadence, I'll explain some things, though I don't know everything." Aks walks to the front desk.
"Welcome back sir, I've heard of what you did, and I just have to say no one is that good at cleaning."
"It's not that, please don't let that pink alicorn out of here, she is scared, worried, and has no idea where she is. Can you do that for me."
"Certainly sir, she won't be able to teleport out of here thanks to our magic proof walls."
"Thanks."
"No problem sir, have a good night."
"You too." Aks walks to the elevators and waits, he thinks, "Wow, I might have to come back, I've missed this life. Wait, no no, I can't, can I? I should sleep on this."
After exiting the elevator Aks walks to his room, he thought.
"Wow, I really hope they don't try something dumb like that again, sadly now almost every assassin knows I’m friends with royalty. That could be good, or really bad, who knows." He swiped the key card and the door unlocked, he looked in his room only to find Shining Armor talking to Cadence on the bed.
Aks closed the door and walked up to the bed, "Hey, what's going on?"
"I've been explaining a bit of who you are, now, I only told her what you told me." Said Shining Armor, Cadence asks.
"How could you do that to all those people, they had lives, families, why would you kill them?"
"I did that so all of use would survive the night, and the reason I killed them is to get you out of there."
"Aks, I think Shining and I could use sometime to talk about this. Sometime alone maybe?"
"Ah I get ya, I'll give you two the night, I gotta talk with Amy down in the club."
"Who is this Amy?" Cadence started to drink a bit of wine.
"She's the mother of my son." She did a spit take all over Shining Armor, he looked at her with a wtf face.
"Sorry Shining, now wait. You are a father?"
"Yes, I'll tell you more after I talk with her, good night."
Shining says, "Good night, I really hope this doesn't stain."
The next day:
Aks walked back up to his room, his suit was worn with a lot of blood staining the whole suit, he had a bandage around his head, he was limping. And he had multiple bullet holes in his chest.
His hair was frazzled and he had a very satisfied face for someone who was bleeding out. He was missing one shoe, and his face was beaten very badly.
Now he got in front of his door only to hear giggling.
"I really hope it's not about me." Was all he could think before he opened the door.
His bed had pillows all over, blankets flung all over the floor, and some stains on the bed he might wanna know about. Probably not though, he’s very respectful of people's, or I guess pony's privacy.
He asked, "Hey Shining, Cadence, what's going on?" They poped their heads out of the bed, their mane's were tangled and messed up, Shining had a very satisfied face, while Cadence was looking at Aks smiling. She asked.
"What happened to you? Should we call a doctor?" Aks replies.
"No, no, the doctor is on his way, now what happened was very rough." Aks sighed a bit,
"But, the good news is that when my son is old enough we can start to see each other, I might just be able to be his Dad after all.
Now about my cloths and the wounds, well that's a longer story that spiraled after the forty five minute talk, wanna hear about it?"
They both nodded, Aks walked over to the bed and sat in a small spot without stains, "Sorry about the bed, we got a bit frisky after we talked."
"I understand, well it starts like this."
Last night:
Aks was walking out of the club, he wasn't drunk, though he had a couple of glasses of bourbon. He was on top of the world, because he gets to know who his son is. He was walking out of the basement when all of a sudden he was hit in the back of the head by a big bat. Aks was knocked out for a few hours.
He didn't know where he was going, but it wasn't good. Once he came to Aks looked around, it was a small windowless room with puke colored wallpaper, which was starting to peel off.
There was a door right in front of him, Aks tried to get out, but he was strapped to a chair, a metal chair so he wouldn't be able to break it. He struggled for a minute until he saw the door open, there were three men, two with smg's and one in a fine rouge suit. He was a old man of 60 or so, he had a small beard and he was bald.
"So, You're the Sandman? I honestly thought there would be more to you. Now to business, you attacked my auction, wait, not just my auction, my biggest auction, and you took some merchandise from me.
My friend, you're gonna die here, slowly. I leave you to my two best men, they specialized in torture.
Oh and the best part is that I can watch you die, so technically I get a free show. I just gotta ask, any final words?"
Aks looked right in his eyes and replied, "Ya, who's dick did you suck to do business on Continental ground."
"Ha ha, you’re a funny guy, alright, since you're gonna die anyway, his name is Victor, he knocked you out and got you out undetected by security. Now then." He closed the door behind him and continues, "I think it's time for someone to pay up."
His two men dropped the smg's and grabbed knuckle bracers out of their pockets. They started to smile as they each punched Aks straight in the face, gut, and basically everywhere, each hit made a loud crack as he grunted.
After 20 or so hits Aks was missing 3 and a half teeth and he was spitting up blood all over his shirt. The old man sat up and said, "My boy, if you think this’s painful, then you have no idea what is coming up next, I'll give you a hint, it involves a gun."
What they didn't know was that Aks had untied the knot binding his hands, it looked like it was still together, but it wasn't. The old man grabbed a pistol from one of the guards, they stood at two corners of the tiny room.
The old man pointed the gun at point blank range and said, "So, this is how the great Sandman dies, after all of the stuff you've done, it ends here. You really are rusty at this aren't you?"
"I'm not rusty at all, and you are sadly mistaking, this isn't where I die, it's where you die."
"Ha ha, tell me, how will you kill me?"
"Like this." Aks used his right arm to sock the guy in the head causing him to fall down and to drop the gun. The guards tried to get their guns, though Aks got his legs free in that time and leaped at the far left man, Aks grabbed his head and snapped the neck.
As the other guard cocked his gun Aks grabbed the body of the guard he killed and charged the other guard. He fired a bunch of shots right into the body of his dead friend and Aks used the body to knock him to the ground, he struggled for a second, but Aks grabbed the smg and finished the clip on the guy.
Now the old man was getting up and had the pistol in his hand, he pointed it to Aks and fired, he turned around only to get three bullets in his chest. He fell down spitting up more blood as the old man stood on top of Aks, "Nice try, but I win, Sandman."
He was about to pull the trigger, but Aks used his leg and kicked him in the nuts causing the old man to fall down.
Aks slowly got up and grabbed the gun, "You should have brought more guards and left me the fuck alone. But like I said, I live and you die." He pulled the trigger and shot the guy in the head.
He lowered the weapon and walked out of the room, for some reason there were no guards in the hallways nor anywhere near Aks.
"This is too quiet."
Just as he got outside he looked to his sides and saw 5 guys on his left and right, 10 guys in front of him, and one with a gun right to the back to his head.
"Oh, well it's not too quiet now." They cocked their guns as Aks' life flashed before him, "Fi-"
Bang, band, bang bang bang. Was all he could hear for the next 5 seconds, he covered his ears and closed his eyes.
When he opened them all the guards were dead, I mean all of them were on the ground with a single bullet in each of their heads. Then a black car drove up right in front of Aks and a guy walked out of the backseat of the car, he had sunglasses and a suit on.
"Good evening sir, You can call me Mister Shadow, I come on the behalf of the Continental management. I am so sorry for this inconvenience, we will make it up for you later, and we got mister Victor."
"Sweet, mind if I enter the car with you, I could use your 24/7 doctor now."
"Certainly sir, right this way." Aks walked over to the car and once he was in they went back to the hotel.
The present:
During that story the doctor had patched Aks up, he got all the bullets out and sealed the wounds, Aks had a glass of bourbon in his right hand, and he was holding a phone in his other hand.
The doctor was finishing up the last stitches, he was a old Chinese man, probably 64, maybe 65. Ether way he had masterly stitched up all the wounds, he said.
"Your gonna be alright sir, I got one question mister Aks."
"Ya?"
"Do you still have work here?"
"No, not now, I think I'm gonna go back into retirement."
"Alright, do you need something to stop the pain?"
"Nah, I got this." He lifted his bourbon and took a drink.
"Well you have a good night sir, oh one more thing."
"Ya?"
"You will feel a lot of pain in the morning."
"Thank you, actually now that I think about it, would you leave some pain killers on the table next to the couch."
"Sure thing sir, have a good night."
"You too." After the doctor left Aks walked over to the couch and finished the bourbon, "Aw man, no more booze."
Cadence and Shining Armor walked over to him, Cadence was very surprised, while Shining was starting to get used to it, he asked Aks.
"So, w-what did they give you?" Aks smiled.
"They gave me a brand new magnum, I mean top of the line, it actually makes no noise when firing, it has a smart scope to so it won't miss anyone who gets in my sights."
"Nice, I think, so are you really gonna retire again?"
"Seems like it, I'm very good at what I do, but I just wanna live a life of no pain. Now, tomorrow we’re going back to the Crystal empire in my personal jet."
Cadence asked, "You have a jet?"
"Hell ya, you know if you two come with me to Miami I'll let you two ride in my personal yacht."
"Well, thank you. Though I think we'll let you get some sleep, you look rough." Said Cadence.
"Sure, see you two in the morning."
The next day:
After getting up in the middle of the day, and taking a crap ton of pain medications, Aks, Shining Armor, and Cadence got out of the room never to see it again.
The elevator doors opened letting them all out, they walked up to the counter, Aks said.
"Shawn, here's the keys and I won't give any kind of bad review, this has been very freeing."
"No problem sir, oh, when you get home there is something you will really like, courtesy of management."
"Thanks, have a good day dude."
"You to sir."
Once they got to the plane they flew back to Equestria, it was night time there and Aks was tired, fighting, healing, and becoming a father.
That'll tire almost anyone out, Aks went back to his house, it was nice, it had a modern look to it, once he got in he said, "On." And the lights came on. Aks went into his bedroom, it was also nice, though he looked right at the bed, on it was a box, it had a note on it.
Aks read it out loud, "Sorry for messing up your trip, we hope this makes you feel better, trust us, this won't happen again. Management."
He dropped the note and opened the box, he just stared at it's contents, it was a vile of giantus, a magic potion that increases your sausage's size by 6 inches.
He grinned at it and said, "Well, this’s a very nice thing to come home to. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this story, it was hard to make. And trust me, with tests on the way it is a bitch. Thank you all for tolerating my poor writing skills and have a nice day."
