What if Shining Armor was the youngest? And he had Cadence as a babysitter, this would change everything.
In this universe, Twilight is the oldest, still got the same cutie mark, still the same friends everything is the same, but the difference is that Shining Armor is the youngest. Twilight runs into a lot of problems with her new chapter of her life,
"Okay Shining, Your mum and I are off out. Twilight is out with her friends and I've called Cadence down to look after you," Night Light said as Shining's eyes lit and his smile grew, "But if I get any more complaints by Cadence saying you're trying to kiss her, I will ground you... again," Tonight was the night that Shining can talk to Cadence before she starts her exams and has no time to be with anyone, His father and mother were off to see a movie and Twilight had some project she had to complete with her friends and nobody else was free so Night Light had called in Shining's regular babysitter, and he wasn't complaining. Armor nodded
"Will do Dad... Um," He paused, "What time will Cadence be here?" His voice sounding desperate and eager,
Night Light looked at his son, worry written across his face, Night doesn't want to leave Shining home alone with Cadence now. Not after he said it like that, "Actually I think it would be better if I call Twilight back to look after you," He said grabbing his phone and unlocked it,
"But you've already called Cadence I think it's a bad idea to cancel on her," Shining said pleading him not to tell Cadence that she won't be needed, he began to sweat a little. Shining hated it when he doesn't get his own way,
"Am going to call Twilight, Shining. I don't think I can trust you to be alone with Cadence, tonight" Then Night called his eldest child,
"Dad please!"
It was too late, Night Light was on the phone with Twilight. Shining begged and begged but was only pushed away by his father. He threw a small tantrum, he threw his arms around and stomped against the floor board, "Dad! Listen!" He cried as tears filled his eyes, he wanted Cadence to come so badly. Night Light turned to face him,
"Shining Armor! To your room right now!" He shouted as Shining stormed off upstairs and slammed his door shut, "Thank you, Twilight. You can invite a friend down if you so wish," Night continued the conversation,
Shining threw himself onto his bed and let out a loud scream, he needed Cadence to come over, he loved Cadence and the best thing about her is that she's a princess. The princess of love. Making people fall in love with their one true love. Shining sat up and leaned over his bed and grabbed a small box which was labelled Twilight's friends, he'd pick the cutest one out of her friends and have a small profile on them. Shining opened the box and had three files on the three friends. Rarity, Fluttershy and, of course, Cadence, he pulled Cadence's file out and viewed the photo's. This has gone way out of hand, far from a school boy crush. Suddenly he heard a knock and quickly placed her file back away and shoved it under his bed, "Come in,"
The door opened and Twilight stepped in, "Hey Shining, you okay?"
"No, I really wanted Cadence to come over!" He slammed his fists on the bed.
"She is, don't worry little bro," She smiled, "She's going to be downstairs with me,"
Shining's eyes grew and his smile returned, "Really?"
"Yeah, I'll see you later?"
Shining nodded as Twilight left his room, he knew what he had to do.

Twilight laughed uncontrollably as Cadence continued to make funny faces, impersonating her aunt's, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. "Wow, Cadie you're really killing these impressions."
She flushed red, "Thanks, Twilight, can I be honest with you?"
"Sure, fire away," She said as she took a sip of her drink she set out for herself and Cadence,
"The only reason I wanted to take up a babysitting for your younger brother was only to get closer to you, but you were always out, which I should have known if am honest," She let out a laugh,
"Wow," Twilight was flabbergasted, unable to process words. She tried to think of something to say back to her, but her mind was blank. Cadence sighed.
"I knew that I shouldn't have said anything and I've most likely scared you now, I'll leave," Cadence said getting up and was about to walk to the door when Twilight grabbed her arm, "Yes Twilight?"
"I lo-" Twilight was interrupted by Shining Armor running down into the living room,
"Twilight! Can we play a game?!" He shouted as he ran over,
Her first reaction was silence until she spoke up, "Um, sure.... What game?"
"What about Hide and Seek?" Shining suggested as Twilight nodded,
"Sure, you hide and we'll Seek," Twilight said as Shining shook his head,
"I want a kiss from her before that rule roles in,"
"Shining!" Twilight shouted as he jumped over to her causing her to fall to the ground and Twilight lost her grip, "Get off her!"
"Come on Cadence, I know you want me to kiss you,"
"Not really, " She said as Shining frowned, "I want my first kiss to be with the one I love,"
"But I am the one you love," Shining said as Candace laughed a little,
"No, you're not, Shining Armor. Am sure you're a great kisser but I love someone else," She said moving back a bit causing Shining to fall onto the ground, Cadence got up,
"Who is it then," He said staring up at her,
Twilight smiled, "Me," Cadence nodded,
Twilight blushed as Shining's mouth dropped, "My sister?!"
"Yeah," Cadence said as Twilight's parents walk back in,
"That was a waste of time," Twilight Velvet said as Night agreed, "The bloody cinema should close down,"
"Yeah," They stop in their tracks, Night first saw Shining shaking and Twilight staring at Cadence, Velvet watched the scene, "What's going on here?" he said,
"Oh nothing, Cadence shared a story which Shining walked in on us, run along little bro," Twilight said as Shining huffed, but he listened and ran back upstairs,
"So I see you invited Cadence anyways," Night said as Twilight nodded,
"Is it okay if she sleeps over?" Twilight asked as Cadence hides a blush,
"But Twilight? There's no place for her to sleep," Velvet said as Night nodded,
"I have room in my bed," Twilight said as her parents looked at each other,
"Are you okay with that Cadence?" Night asked as she nodded, "Well alright then, you off to bed then?"
"Well going into my room so ish," Twilight said as her mother nodded,
"Alright girls, see you in the morning," With that the girls left,

Twilight and Cadence sat down on her bed, it was awkward at first until Twilight turned to face Cadence and vice versa, Cadence was gorgeous. She had trio hair, Pink, Purple, and cream, it flowed in waves to adorn her glowing, porcelain-like skin. Her eyes, framed by long lashes, were a bright, amethyst colour and seemed to brighten Twilight's world every time she gazes at them, the girl was stunningly gorgeous, like a painting of a goddess brought to life. She smiled sweetly at Twilight, her eyes sparkling like stars flaunted on the night sky. Twilight stared at Cadence's lips and licked her own, this was caught by Cadence herself. They began to lean in, Twilight could feel her hot breath warming up her face as Cadence tilted Twilight's face upwards. She looked up into Cadence's eyes and could tell what was about to happen. Twilight closed her eyes and softly touched her lips against Cadence's. This felt right, a wave of pleasure washed over them, all of a sudden the kiss grew deeper and more passionate, Cadence pushed Twilight back onto the bed.
Cadence pulled away from the kiss, both of them heated up, "Wow," Cadence finally said as Twilight smiled,
Twilight Velvet sat down with a deep sigh, her husband sat down beside her. They wasted their night on some crappy movie. Velvet should have known as she was told it was an awful film, Night kissed his wife on the cheek. It was two hours since the kids went to bed and the night was peaceful. Velvet yawned loudly as Night smiled at his wife, they both decided it was time to go to bed. They walked to the bottom of the stairs and began to walk up them, Night was the first to speak.
"Should we check on the kids?"
"Yeah, I'll check on Shining," Velvet said reaching the top of the stairs, Night nodded and walked to the girl's room as Velvet went to go see her son.
She opened the door to see Shining reading a comic, she walked over to Shining, "Come on darling time to go to sleep," she said as Shining looked up,
"But mom, I've almost finished," Shining said showing his comic book to her,
"Alright sweetie , finish that book and go to bed after you're done, I'll be checking back..." Then the two heard shouting, curious Velvet went to check on what's happening.
Arriving at the scene Night Light seemed to have a vein popping out of his forehead, Twilight and Cadence were shaking on the bed, Velvet watched, "I'll ask you again. What did I catch you two doing!" Night shouted as Cadence began to cry, "Tell me!" His voice boomed as Twilight hugged Cadence harder.
"Stop yelling at us!" Twilight shouted back as Night walked over and grabbed Twilight by the arm trying to break them up, "Get off me!" She screamed as Velvet stepped in and removed her husband out of the room, Twilight turned to Cadence, "I'm so sorry Cadie"
Cadence wiped her eyes with her hands, "I've never had a male shout at me," She pauses for a second, "And I don't like it," Twilight smiled,
"Am guessing Princess Celestia shouts at you more than Luna?" Cadence nodded as Twilight laid down, "I hate it when he shouts," Cadence laid down next to Twilight and wrapped her arm around her,
"I hate your father," Cadence said, then they heard Night Light call,
"Cadence! Twilight! Downstairs! Now!" Then they heard footsteps and two people heading downstairs,
"I don't think I can," Cadence said as Twilight sat up, "Twilight?"
She looked down and grabbed Cadence's hand, "I won't let go," Cadence sat up as well,
Cadence looked at Twilight and stared, just stared at her. Nothing else, yet the Cadence could feel her pulse beating in her ears, blocking out all other sounds except the breath that was raggedly moving in and out of her mouth at regular, gasping intervals. Twilight found that she was staring as well. She could not take her eyes away from Cadence's. Nothing else mattered. The connection had to be held if it broke... if it broke Cadence would lose it and go into her attack mode and most likely hurt her, she had never felt so certain of anything else in her life. Cadence could no longer control his hands; they were shaking in an odd trembling rhythm, her face turned pale and Twilight picked up on this, Cadence's eyes brimmed with tears. She looked away as his faced turn red. "Don't cry" Cadence mumbled to herself which Twilight had overheard her. She clenched her teeth together in a tight hold, as tears silently filled her eyes again. Her shaking hands became clenched fists and she dug her fingers into Twilight's palms as she bit his quivering lip. Then the roar of Twilight's dad called again,
"Get down here now!"
"Night Light? Do you really think they will come down if you're shouting?"
Twilight smiled, she loves her mother more than anything and the way she said that gave time for Cadence to calm down. Cadence began breathing heavily her eyes narrowed, heart beating too fast, she couldn't get enough air into her system to breathe, slowly but surely every time she took a breath it began to hurt, she wanted to scream but nothing came out. Again this was noticed by Twilight. Twilight knew that Cadence was prone to panic attacks, due to school which started it, "Cadence?" She looked up at her still breathing heavily, "Everything is going to be alright, if my mother is downstairs she'll stop my father from shouting at us," Cadence started to calm down a little, loosening her grip on Twilight's hand, they get up and walk to the door then downstairs.
Getting to the bottom of the stairs Velvet was sat down as Night was covering his eyes, he looked up and stood up, disappointment written across his face, he noticed they were holding hands, "Sit down," He said as the girls listened sitting down across them, Night sat back down as Velvet leaned in closer to hear the conversation, "What did I catch you two doing?" He repeated the question from before,
Then someone came walking downstairs, unheard by the four, Shining peeked and eavesdropped on their conversation, praying to god that nobody would see him.
"You didn't knock," Twilight started, Night was about to say something but Velvet stopped him, "You walked in on us," She turned to Cadence who was shaking and her skin went pale again, "Kissing," Velvet smiled,
"Oh congratulations," She said as Twilight smiled back at her mother, but her father wasn't impressed,
"Will you shut it for a minute," He said, aimed towards his wife, "The point is I caught them grinding each other, Cadence on top while Twilight below her. I don't tolerate this in my house!" He shouted towards the young girls, "You've made a choice to be like this," Night said as calmly as he could,
"It's not a choice, I was born like this," Twilight said as she was glad her father stopped shouting,
"I Believe you made this choice and I believe that it's just a phase that you're going through," Night Light said as Velvet became a little scared on what's going to happen next , "Nobody is created that way and that's the path you've decided to take,"
"It's not a choice father, I was born this way and some people are created this way," Twilight said as Night Light sighed,
"Right okay, I've tried to reason with you. I will not support you any longer," Velvet covered her mouth, "You need to move out and find where ever you can live, and do whatever the fuck you want then, cause if Shining sees this? It'll crush him, do you understand?" Twilight didn't respond, "Do you understand!" He shouted
Cadence winced and squeezed Twilight's hand, even more, causing her to turn to check on her, never in her life has she seen Cadence this scared of her father before, "You're scaring Cadence!" Twilight shouted as her father lost it,
"I don't care if am scaring her! I want you to leave the house, tonight!" Night shouted as Velvet and Twilight gasped, "You're no longer allowed in this house!"
"Night Light! You can't kick her out!" Velvet shouted at her husband,
"I bloody well can!"
Twilight got up as well as Cadence, "Fine, I'll leave, but you won't be seeing me ever again!" Shining had heard enough he ran off back upstairs and quietly closed his door before the girls went upstairs as Velvet slapped her husband,
"Why did you kick them out?!"
"Cause," He began walking to the front door, "I can," He left, slamming the door behind him,
"That isn't a good an excuse you stupid bitch!" Velvet just ran off upstairs and went into her room to cry.
Cadence eventually calmed down and helped Twilight pack her stuff while packing Cadence hugged Twilight from behind and kissed her on the neck, Twilight smiled warmly and turned to face Cadence, "Am sorry," Cadence started,
"Why are you sorry?"
"Cause we're getting kicked out," She said as Twilight smiled,
"It's fine, I'll drop you off home and am sure one of the girls will let me stay with them," Twilight said as Cadence smiled at her,
"Alright, can we?"
Twilight nods and removes the suitcase of the bed and pushes Cadence onto the bed, "For an hour,"
Cadence hugged Twilight goodbye as she made her way home, she had decided to walk Twilight to the train station and wait for the train to Ponyville, Rarity was kind enough to let Twilight stay with her as she tries to earn enough money to buy her own house. Cadence arrived back at the castle and the guards stopped her, "Stop! Where have you been Princess Cadence?" One guard asked,
"I was working on a project," Cadence said as the guards let her in,
She made her way down the corridor, her eyes heavy due to the crying, she was glad that Twilight was now out of that house cause if she stayed any longer she might have been abused by her father, maybe she was? Cadence doesn't know what that man is capable off, she got about halfway down the corridor when Luna spotted her, she walked over, "Cadence?"
"Yeah Aunt Luna?"
"You alright, it looks like you've been crying," Cadence eyes watered again, "You have been have you?" Cadence nodded, "You want a hug?" She nodded again as Luna pulled her into her embrace as Cadence cried for the third time that day, "Just let it all out," Cadence did as Luna said and cried on her shoulder, "Come on, we'll talk in your chambers,"
They walked into Cadence's room as she threw herself onto her bed, Luna walked and sat on the bed beside her, stroking her hair as she cried, "Want to tell me what happened?"
"Not really as I fear it's going to happen to me,"
"What's going to happen to you?"
"Something that happened to Twilight,"
"What happened to Twilight?"
"She got kicked out of her house,"
"Why?"
"Cause.... Her father is homophobic," Cadence was glad she didn't blurt out that they were going out,
"Why does this involve you?"
"He shouted at me and Twilight,"
"Cause Twilight is gay?"
"Yes,"
Luna sat in utter silence, it's not right for a father to disown their daughter, it's not like Luna wasn't new to this, her own father disowned her and Celestia, but not for the same reason. She continued to stroke Cadence's hair for five minutes until she was fast asleep, she got up, turned off the light and left Cadence to sleep in peace. Luna walked down the corridor and met her sister in the throne room, she was ready to settle in for the night, Celestia spotted her younger sister, "Afternoon Luna, you ready to take over?"
"No, there's something bothering me," She said as Celestia walked over to her, "Can we talk in your chambers? Then when we're done you can go to sleep,"
"Of course sister,"
Luna sat on Celestia's bed as Celestia herself got changed behind her, "What's bothering you?"
"It's Cadence,"
"What's wrong with Cadence?"
"She came back tonight, upset. She was crying,"
"What's up with her?"
"She told me that Night Light shouted at her,"
"Twilight's dad?"
"Yeah, he kicked Twilight out of the house for good,"
"Disowned her? For what reason,"
"Cause Twilight's gay,"
"She's gay?"
"Seems like it,"
Celestia and Luna both went silent, no idea what to say next, minds unable to process words. Luna sighed and got up as Celestia got into bed, "What if you went into Cadence's dream? If she cried about it maybe she'll dream of the event again then you'll understand what she went through and maybe get her to open her feelings to you," Celestia said as Luna nodded,
"That was the plan in the first place, she's fast asleep now, I better get down there quick... Thank you, Tia," She said smiling,
"You're welcome Lulu,"
Luna silently opened the door of Cadence's bedchambers, she closed it and walked over to sit beside her, it seemed that Cadence must have woke up before she came in as there's a glass of water on the bedside table and she was under her covers this time, Luna's horn glowed as she let her eyes drift close, she was entering the dream realm.
Luna reopened her eyes to see she was now in someone else's bedroom, she saw Cadence towering someone and she was sitting on that person's leg slowly rubbing herself up and down while she remained in a passionate kiss, Luna being curious wandered around only to see it was Twilight that was below her, then the bedroom door swung open and it was Night Light, "Girls how are.... What the fuck!" Cadence pulled away from the kiss and got off her as Twilight sat up, then something moved, like a purple mist, unseen by the princess of the night,
"Dad you need to knock!" Twilight said as her father twitched,
"What the fuck did I catch you two doing!" Then Twilight Velvet walked in,
As this was going on Luna began to think, "What if Cadence and Twilight are going out? And that's the reason Cadence had been crying," She saw Velvet push Night out of the room and Cadence was wiping her eyes with her hands, "I've never had a male shout at me," Luna began to feel sorry for what Cadence and Twilight had to go through and before she could think, Luna was downstairs as the family excluding Shining Armor were sat down, Luna walked over and sat down in an empty seat, she was so glad nobody could see her. The purple mist moved past Luna than the family, this time, Luna saw it but ignored it. That was the biggest mistake she would ever do,
"You didn't knock," Twilight started suddenly, Night leaned in and was about to say something until Velvet stopped him, Luna smiled, "You walked in on us," She turned to Cadence who was shaking, Luna brought her attention to her niece and watched as the color on her face drained, "Kissing,"
While being in the dream it seemed to miss out key parts and some parts that are not needed, "The point is I caught them grinding each other, Cadence on top while Twilight below her. I don't tolerate this in my house!" Luna jumped at the comment that Night made, "You've made a choice to be like this," Then at this point she was suspicious, "I Believe you made this choice and I believe that it's just a phase that you're going through," Night Light said Luna got up and walked by Night, "Nobody is created that way and that's the path you've decided to take," Luna watched carefully at Night's next move "Right okay, I've tried to reason with you. I will not support you any longer," Luna let out a gasp, "You need to move out and find where ever you can live, and do whatever the fuck you want then, cause if Shining sees this? It'll crush him, do you understand?" Luna looked over at the two girls, Cadence shaking as her grip on Twilight seemed to tighten up and she didn't seem threatened, "Do you understand!" He shouted this caused Luna to jump,
Luna saw Cadence let out a quiet yelp as she hid behind Twilight and it seemed that she squeezed Twilight's hand, even more, causing her to turn to check on her, never in Luna's life has she ever seen Cadence this scared before, "You're scaring Cadence!" Twilight yelled back,
"I don't care if am scaring her! I want you to leave the house, tonight!" Night shouted as Luna, Velvet, and Twilight gasped, "You're no longer allowed in this house!" Then the mist rose over Luna, she turned only to get hit across the head with a brick, the mist formed into a being,
"Finally,"
Suddenly Luna shot back into the waking world with the biggest migraine, Cadence groaned as Luna left her room, making her way down the corridor while holding her head, a guard spotted her acting unusual and was about to say something until Luna collapsed onto the ground, "Princess Luna!" He shouted making a quick dash over to her, three other guards went to check what happened, they saw Luna on the ground,
"What happened?!"
"She just fell,"
"Get Princess Celestia," The first guard ordered,
"On it," The three said at the same time before running down the corridor towards Celestia's bed chambers, the first guard rolled Luna onto her back,
Twilight finally arrived in Ponyville, an hour on an uncomfortable train isn't good for her. Leaving the train with her suitcase she spotted her friends on the other side, they all went into a hug, "Twilight!" They all said as Twilight smiled,
"Hey girls,"
"Oh, Twilight you look awful!" Rarity started as Twilight smiled,
"Thanks, Rarity, just the thing I need right now,"
"Oh sorry," Rarity said as Twilight smiled at her,
Twilight hugged her, "It's okay,"
Rarity, Fluttershy, and Twilight went off as the over three went to Sugarcube Corner, Fluttershy had hold of Rarity's hand as they caught up with their friend and their alicorn friend,
"So how did you get kicked out of your house?" Fluttershy asked,
"Well, after you guys went home, me and Cadence went back to mine, I began flirting with her on the way back mind you, but nothing really started until Shining tried to kiss her, she said that she wants to have her first kiss with the one she loves and she opened out in front of me that it was me of course. Later that night my Dad walked in on us, a little argument he said I made a choice to be like this and gave me a chance to change, but I didn't so he kicked me out," Twilight said as Fluttershy gasped,
"Wow," Shy started,
"And what happened with with Cadence?" Rarity asked,
"She had mood swings, so crying, panic attack, crying again," Twilight said as Rarity nodded,
"So are you to an item?" Rarity asked as Twilight nodded,
"Yeah I guess so,"
Rarity let out a loud squeal as Fluttershy laughed a little, "Congratulations," Fluttershy said as Twilight smiled,
"Thanks, Flutters..." Then Twilight phone went off,
"Is this the lucky gal?" Rarity asked as Twilight nodded,
"Hiya Cadie. what's up?" Rarity smiled as Twilight already had a nickname for Cadence, "What? Is she okay?" Then her smile vanished, "She just fell?" They stopped moving, "She's having seizures, twitching in her sleep?" Rarity and Fluttershy exchanged looks "Nosebleeds... Okay, okay what do you want me to do?" Twilight coughed lightly, "I can't come back now," She pauses, "The trains are not running again tonight, I'll make it by tomorrow," Rarity and Fluttershy exchanged looks, "Yeah you can, I have. Right see you tomorrow, bye love you,"
"What's happened?" Rarity asked as Twilight hung up,
"Princess Luna collapsed,"
"Oh my," Rarity said as Twilight nodded,
"Yeah I need to go in the morning,"
"We understand," Fluttershy said as they arrive at the house, "I'll show you to your room," Fluttershy lead Twilight upstairs as Rarity went into the kitchen, she sat down as she levitated a drink over, she took a sip when Fluttershy walks in and sits across from her, "Rarity?"
"Yes, darling?"
"Your cousin is the train conductor right?"
"Yes he his, why?"
"Twilight needs to be down at Canterlot tonight, the doctors have looked over Luna and she's experiencing seizures like a lot of them, blood is coming from her nose and mouth, Cadence really needs her there right now,"
"Right, I'll call him to run the private train but we have to go,"
"That's the plan,"
"Go tell Twilight to get ready to go to the train station, I'll call Cole,"
"Right," Fluttershy runs off upstairs as Rarity grabs her phone,
About five minutes and the three were on their way to Canterlot, the train ride was silent for the most part. Twilight was worried for Cadence, Celestia and of course Luna, Twilight pictured everything in her head, the doctors getting her hooked up to the machines, checking her over when suddenly she begins to twitch a lot, kicking and unable to move the upper part of her body. Being lifeless while her nose becomes covered in blood, doctors trying to calm her down. Cadence being dragged out of bed to the hospital by Celestia, scared of what's happening and the effect is caused, "You do know you'll have to stay here while I go in?" Twilight finally said,
"Yeah we know," Rarity said as she gently stroked Fluttershy's hair, she has drifted off to sleep on the way, resting her head in Rarity's lap,
"How comes Fluttershy is out so quickly?" Twilight asked as Rarity smiled,
"It's about one o'clock in the morning and she has work tomorrow then it's extra school, it's just so much for her," She said as Twilight nodded,
"Here we are," Twilight said as the train pulled up in Canterlot, looking out of the window she saw Cadence, "See you soon?"
"Yeah, we'll wait, tell me how it goes?"
"Will do," With that Twilight left the train, Rarity continued to stroke Fluttershy as Cole comes out,
"Are we waiting for her to come back?"
"Yeah, just take a nap for now,"
Rarity woke up hours later and Twilight just got back onto the train with Cadence by hand, "Twilight? Cadence?" She said as they looked at her, "What's happening?"
"Cadence needs to leave Canterlot," Twilight said as Cadence pulled a suitcase in, "Mind if she stays as well?"
"No I don't mind, but you are sharing a bed, though,"
"I wouldn't mind that," Cadence said as Twilight nodded,
"Ready to set off?" Cole said walking back in,
"Mind if we take a trip around Equestria?" Cadence said as he nodded.
"Sure," He walks into the front of the train,
"I just want to calm down," Cadence said as they sat down, she leaned against Twilight,
"What happened?" Rarity asked,
"My aunt got hit around the head with something which caused her to... I think Twilight has told you I just want to sleep it off," Cadence then laid in Twilight's lap and looked up at her,
"I understand that you don't want to tell, you rest up well," Cadence smiled and closed her eyes,
"Night Princess," Twilight said as Cadence was fast asleep within seconds.
"What happened Twilight?"
"Her horn was chipped, a lot of black blood, like a lot," Twilight said as Rarity raised an eyebrow, "It's really awful for Cadence to witness that. She had another panic attack as well,"
"Well this nap and trip will calm her down," Rarity said as Twilight smiled,
"Hopefully," Then they heard a groan, Rarity looked down to see Fluttershy shaking a little,
"Shh, it's only a dream little one," Rarity said as she kissed her on the forehead, "Only a dream,"
Twilight smiled at Rarity who was calming Fluttershy down from some sort of bad dream, then Twilight looked down at Cadence and was horrified, she turned her head a bit to reveal a large bite mark with the same black shit coming out of it, Twilight then had a horrifying flashback,
"Cadence! Don't step closer!" Twilight and Celestia cried as she ignored them, moving closer to her aunt.
Luna had stopped moving, laying on her stomach, wings tucked in and horn cracked, Cadence walked over to her to get a closer look. Luna looked helpless unable to look after herself, then suddenly Luna's wings spread open. Thick black slime oozed out as her back tore open slowly revealing her insides, skin still attached, but it soon snapped as if it was no stronger than a spider's web, blood splashed against Cadence's face. Luna, out of the blue, screamed. Her scream was like no other, it seemed to get deeper but it soon stopped. The room went silent, what felt like minutes turned into hours as Luna went limp, Cadence curious went to the side of her aunt only for her to get attacked, Luna had her jaw lock in place around Cadence's neck. She winced in pain as Twilight called for the doctors, Celestia covered her mouth as Cadence felt tears stream down her face as she was about to regret what she was about to do, Celestia looked down at Cadence's hand to see it clench into a fist. She brought it up and brought it back down, causing Luna to snap her jaw further in and slowly rip into Cadence's delicate skin, she repeated the punches as the doctors rushed in. She had tears falling down her face as she continued to hurt her aunt she eventually let go and Cadence fell to the ground.
"Shit," She said and smiled, Twilight helped her up ignoring her neck she hugged her,
"I know you didn't want to do that, but it was the only way," Twilight said as Cadence nodded,
"I just want to go now,"
"Stop the train!" Twilight suddenly shouted as the train made an emergency stop in Trottingham, Rarity looked over in panic, Twilight had her hand drenched in the same thick black slime as Luna's,
"What's the matter, Darling?"
"I've just remembered something, we need to get Cadence to the hospital!"
"Why?" Twilight looked down as Rarity followed her gaze, "Ah I see now,"
"God, it's everywhere," She gestured the blood as Rarity gagged, "She's stopped breathing!"
Her eyes slowly opened, two unknown figures holding her as crying suddenly came to her ears, blinking rapidly she was brought across the room and into something warm, looking up she was a woman in tears and she was covered in sweat, she stroked her cheek as a deep voice was heard,
"Congratulations, Mrs. Crystal. It's a girl,"
Then a man leaned down and kissed the older female on the cheek, "So, what are you going to call her honey?"
"I was thinking of, Mi Amore Cadenza, do you like the name, Arctic?" He nods,
"And Cadence for short," The mother nodded as the two adults had tears of joy in their eyes,
Cadence: 2 years old
Cadence giggled as her father tickled her stomach, she falls back a little as she tried to say something, "Honey! Cadenza is about to say her first word!" Wasting no time, Crystal rushed in with a camera and began recording, "Try again sweetie,"
"D-Da," Cadence tried to speak as her Mom smiled, "Daddy," They both cheered as Cadence giggled again,
"Our little angel,"
Cadence: 5 years old
"Come on Cadence!" Crystal shouted as Cadence ran out of the mall in a happy skip,
"Sorry mommy," She said as her father picked her up,
"Nothing to worry about, sweetie,"
They began their trip home, it was raining so they had to quickly make it to their car but got stopped by a man with a gun, "Where do you think you're going Arctic?"
"Vine! What do you think you're doing?!"
"Come to collect my money, pay up,"
"We don't have any money," Crystal said as Vine laughed and pointed the gun at her,
"Then I'll take your life,"
"Mommy?" Cadence said as Vine laughed,
"Watch Mommy now,"
The gunshot was not as loud as Cadance had anticipated. The metal fragments, spiralling through the air, pierced Crystal's chest and torso without consideration, without real meaning. The small wounds in her flesh leaked blood much like the way crying eyes leak tears. She was stunned, to know she was dying, and not be overwhelmed by the emotion Crystal had assumed would accompany such a violent end. There was something altogether serene as she bled out, losing consciousness with a smile on the attacker's face burnt into Cadence's mind. Crystal dropped to the floor and Arctic screamed,
"What the fuck did you do!"
"Something I'm about to do to you as well,"
He pulled the trigger. Suddenly everything went completely silent once again. All movement around Cadence slowed down to an excruciating pace. She could feel her pulse pounding through her body, as her father moved his hand to the open wound, blood soaking his hand. At this moment it looked like he felt no pain, felt no sorrow. He was only amazed by all that surrounded him. Cadence looked up at his hand, as he flexed it, and it would longer move as his life was being drained away. He fell to the ground, a dull ache formed in her chest. She still couldn't hear anything. and she was surprisingly calm. Her parents no longer had life, their pupils grew as their eyes turned pitch black, the man pointed his gun at Cadence, but was stopped,
"I would drop that gun if I was you," Looking up it was a tall woman,
"P-Princess L-Luna," The man said as she smiled, "Um..." Suddenly he dropped his gun and ran for his life, Luna looked over at Cadence,
"Mommy? Daddy?" She said as they didn't respond , Luna went down to her height,
"What's your name young one?"
"Cadenza, am not supposed to speak to strangers," Cadence said as Luna held her hand out,
"Am Princess Luna, do you remember me?"
She nods and takes her hand, "Why are Mommy and Daddy sleeping?"
"They are just tired, I'll get you to safety as someone will take them home,"
Cadence: 14 years old
"Shut up!" Cadence shouted as tears streamed down her face, "You don't understand what I've been through!"
The kids continued to pick on her, "Freak!"
Unlike everyone else Cadence had a horn and wings while everyone else had either a horn or a pair of wings, she bleeds the salt of her soul and as it pours from her eyes where Cadence' clenched her fists as tight as she could, her knuckles turned white, she wiped her eyes as the kids began laughing until someone stepped in,
"Leave her alone!" It was a girl she had seen before,
"Let's go leave the freak alone guys," They left as the girl turned to face Cadence,
"Hey, Cadenza?" She said as she looked up,
The girl was really pretty, "It's just Cadence"
"Well Cadence, are you okay?"
"Not really, um who are you?"
"Sorry am Twilight Sparkle,"
"Well you're really pretty," Twilight went red,
"Um. Thanks, but don't listen to them, you're a princess, really you are,"
Cadence: 16 years old
"You wanna know who is beautiful and has the cutest smile?" Twilight said as Cadence nodded,
"Who?"
"Well, what was the first word?"
"You.... Oh... Awww," Cadence realised what she did said, "You can stop now.... You've found me,"
Twilight gave her a hug, "You're right I have... Can you...."
"Yes," She coughs a little, "Twilight Sparkle, You have passed your exam and Cadenza has failed," She said making her voice sound like Celestia's as Twilight began to laugh uncontrollably,
"Spot on,"
"I love you,"
"Love you too Twilight,"
Cadence was curious so she went to the side of her aunt only for her to get attacked, Luna had her jaw lock in place around Cadence's neck. She winced in pain as Twilight called for the doctors, Cadence felt tears stream down her face as she was about to regret what she was about to do, Cadence's hand clenched into a fist. She had tears falling down her face as she continued to hurt her aunt she eventually let go and Cadence fell to the ground. Blood fell to the ground as she felt someone touch her shoulders,
"Cadence, oh my god, there's a lot of blood," Twilight said as Cadence's eyes became heavy, "You're going to have to leave Canterlot, am sure Celestia will agree with me,"
Her eyes shot open, in a panic, she begins to breathe heavily, she saw Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy and an unknown male leaning in to block the light, Twilight seemed to be closer than the other. They all smiled, "Twilight did it," Rarity said as Cadence sat up, she felt something trickle down her neck, she placed her hand onto it, "Don't worry about that, darling," Rarity also added in as she pulled her hand away, it was coated in black liquid.
"What the?" Cadence said as Twilight grabbed a towel and gave it to her, "Am I alive?"
"Of course you are, Twilight saved you," Fluttershy said, "Why would you ask that?"
"I saw my Mom and Dad... then they..." Her eyes watered, "Died in front of me..."
Twilight pulled her into a hug as Cadence cried into her shoulder, "Shh, just let it all out," Twilight let her girlfriend sob as she began to calm down a little, "I know you don't like to think of that,"
"Everything flashed right before my eyes. It was horrifying but sweet as I saw the day when I first met you," Twilight smiled as Cadence used the towel to clean the blood, "Um. where are we?"
"Twilight told me to stop the train after she saw that mark upon your neck so I think we are in Trottingham," Cole said as Cadence smiled,
"I just need to rest now," She said laying back and Twilight laid next to her, Cadence snuggled into her,
"Night guys," Twilight said as they smiled and left the two alone, "You feeling okay?"
Cole sighed as he didn't want to break the news to the four girls, the train wouldn't start up, he kicked the side of it and went into the carriage to see the girls waiting for the train to start, "Um... we have a problem," Cole started as they looked at him, "The train won't start,"
"What do you mean the train won't start?" Twilight asked as Cole looked at her,
"After I made an emergency stop it will not start again, so exactly what it means,"
Twilight let out a loud grunt as Cadence placed her hand on her knee, "Cheer up babe, maybe we stopped off in manehatten or something like that, we can easily call my aunt to pick us up and it'll be fine,"
"We are actually in Trottingham," Cole said as Twilight sighed,
"Great everyone here is ungrateful and doesn't help anyone, ever," Twilight said as Rarity gasped,
"What's up, Rarity?" Cole asked as she pointed behind him, everyone looked to see someone behind him.
The person was about 5'2'', her hair was pulled to the back in a ponytail, she was wearing some sort of hat, her eyes covered by glasses that had an orange tint. She was wearing a uniform, police to be exact, she had a gun pointing at the back of Cole's head, he panicked and kicked her in her stomach which caused her to fly back and land on the ground. Cole covered his mouth, "Am so sorry miss... Shit, I just kicked a police officer," Cole said as he quickly escaped., Rarity went over and helped her up,
"Am sorry about him," Rarity said as the officer dusted herself down,
"Not to worry," She said as Cole let out a sigh of relief, "I shouldn't be pointing the gun at him in the first place, am Sheriff McKenzie, I got a call of a train pulling into the station at night and still reminding here in the morning. Now other trains need to come in so, what's the problem?"
"Well you see, the train won't start," Fluttershy said as Twilight crossed her arms waiting for the Sheriff to ignore them and give them a ticket or something, "We actually need help,"
McKenzie stood there not saying a thing, leaving the train in a deathly silence, then she smiled, "Well, " She took off her hat and placed it under her arm, "I'd be happy to help you,"
Everyone was surprised that the Sheriff didn't do anything too bad so they let out a sigh of relief, McKenzie leaned out of the train door, "Cancel all trains to Trottingham, until further notice!"
McKenzie took Cadence and Twilight with her as the others waited on the train, she leads them down a street which looked normal enough until they reached a large house, the house looked to be out of place, everything was up to date, clean windows, walls, doors. Everything looked new, "Right I need to pop inside and change if you want you can come in," She said as the three walked inside the house, Cadence and Twilight waited downstairs as the Officer made her way up the stairs,
"You were wrong, Twilight," Cadence said as she smirked at her girlfriend,
"Yeah I guess I were," Twilight said as Cadence went closer to her and wrapped her arms around her neck,
"It was an honest mistake," Cadence said as Twilight blushed, that's when someone came running downstairs, they were being chased by someone older,
"Get back here!" The older one yelled as the younger one laughed,
"Dark as night, swift as light," With that being said the person vanished,
"Steel! Get back here now!"
Twilight and Cadence immediately pulled away from each other and stared directly at the girl in front of them, the girl caught sight of them and looked at them. They all exchanged looks. The room had a long silence before someone else came downstairs, she was wearing a shirt and jeans, she spotted the girls, "Is this some sort of staring contest?" It was McKenzie,
"Mom? Who are these girls?"
"Nova, this is Twilight and Princess Cadence,"
"A princess!" Nova clapped her hands,
"Yes now, find your brother and head back upstairs, you're both still grounded," Nova stormed off as McKenzie smiled, "Sorry about that now, lets find out why the train isn't starting,"
McKenzie looked around near the fuel tank as Cadence sat down in the train cart and slumped back, she hated being stranded in a place she never really visited. She had the idea to tell her Aunt but she really doesn't fancy getting shouted at by running away from Luna, but nobody should blame her. Luna almost killed her! Cadence curled up on the seat, she hugged her knees and stared at the ground of the cart. The more she worried, the more she felt uncomfortable, the more she wanted to curl up in a corner for the rest of her life. Cadence's eyes drifted to the window: which had a clear view of the sky. No sun. Once again. The sun had been absent for days, trying it's best to come back, but no use. Celestia hasn't even tried to raise the sun, Cadence looked back down but then something hit her, "Wait... didn't Luna say. That if anything happens to her in the dream realm that means to darkness is taking over... shit! Cadence shot up then straight after she heard banging on the side of the train,
"You're good to go!"
Then the train started up, slowly moving away from the station. Cadence looked out of the window and saw Twilight thanking McKenzie before jumping on the back cart of the train, she made her way down to see the others when the train picked up speed causing Cadence to stumble back and fall back. Her head cracked against the floor. She groaned and stumbled back up to see Rarity walk in, "Dear? Oh my Celestia, are you okay?" Rarity helped Cadence up,
"No, something just hit me,"
"What was it?"
"Oh not physically, but I've just thought of something,"
Rarity let out a sigh of relief, "Oh that's good, but what is it?"
"Remember Nightmare Moon?"
"Yeah,"
"It's her,"
The Princess of love made her way to the castle as quickly as possible, she needed to tell someone what she remembered. The guards stopped her but she burst straight through them and made her way up to Princess Celestia's bedchambers, she climbed up the stairs and banged against the room, the room door swung open and Celestia was there in her bed clothes. "What is it, Cadence? It's 2 in the morning,"
"It's about Luna,"
"What about her?"
"Nightmare Moon is coming back,"
Celestia laughed, "Nightmare Moon? Really Cadence, just head back to bed," Celestia was about to close the door when Cadence put her foot in the way, "Cadence! Head to bed!"
"Celestia! Please listen to me! Your sister is in trouble if you don't listen!"
"Cadence! Don't raise your voice at me! Guards! Take her to her room!" Cadence looked to the side to see two guards heading down, "Head to bed," Celestia moved Cadence's foot and slammed the door shut,
"Come on Princess, head to your room," One of the guards said as Cadence stormed off to her room,
As she marched down the corridor the two guards followed, Cadence turned around, "Would you quit following me! Fucking leave me alone!" She shouted as the guards looked at each other, "Go!" The guards walked away and mumbled something, "Shut the fuck up or ill cut your tongue out!" The guards then ran away from her, after a while Cadence walked into her room and slammed it shut, she threw herself onto her bed and let out a groan, "Fucking Bitch!"
Twilight Velvet rushed into Shining's room and silently closed the door behind her, Shining was in the middle of reading a comic book when his gaze looked up at his mother, he saw the fear in her eyes. Shining placed his bookmark in and closed the comic, turning his attention to his mother, "What's up Mom?"
"Pack your bags, Shining dear. We are leaving," Velvet said, going over to Shining's closet, she opens it and pulls a suitcase out, "Put your clothes in here, ill get you Twilight's old suitcase to put extra items you want to take,"
"Why are we leaving?" Shining said as he obeyed his mom, he began packing his clothes, "And where's Twilight and Cadence. I heard shouting from everyone, but not Cadence?"
"It's your father, I'll tell you once we're safe," Velvet left the room quitely as Shining continued to pack. He didn't pack all his clothes, though. He packed his best shirts, best jeans, best t-shirts, PJ's, bed wear, one pair of shoes, underwear and socks.
Velvet soon entered the room again with other suitcase, she placed it down on Shining's bed, "I've only packed my best clothes and my bed clothes,"
"That's alright as long as you have something to wear," Velvet said as Shining began to gather up his comics and extra items he wants to take, Velvet carried the packed suitcases with her magic, "We need to hurry as I don't want your father catching us," Velvet left the room, as Shining quickly pulled out his special box and packed it then covered it up with his comics, he finished packing after a few minutes later and zipped it up.
Shining picked it up with his magic just like what his mother did and brought it downstairs, Velvet smiled lightly at her son, "Right, Shining? We're staying at Aunt Amethyst's from now on," Shining nodded as if on cue the doorbell went. Velvet opened the door which would be the biggest mistake she would have ever done, she was greeted by a very intoxicated Night Light, Velvet instantly went to slam the door shut and wait for Amethyst to take care of him, but Night had his foot in the doorway. "Where do.. you think you're going... Bitch," His speech slurred, Velvet continued to slam the door shut but bounced back because of his foot,
"Go away, Night," She turned to Shining,
Shining looked up at his mother as she mouthed, "Go through the back door," and hinted at the back door. Shining nodded and grabbed the suitcases and pulled them through the living room then through the kitchen, he looked back at his mother before leaving through the back door, she was groaning as his father tried to barge his way in. Shining unlocked the back door and opened it, a gush of cold wind blew into the house before he headed outside. The night was peaceful like it normally was due to Princess Luna's job. He smiled at the sky as it was a perfect night just to go for a walk, he then saw someone smiling at him, it was his Aunt. Her hair was a mixture of purple and black and had a grin, wider than the horizon. What confused Shining the most is that Amethyst isn't a unicorn like the rest of the family, she had wings. Amethyst grabbed the suitcases and lifted them into the air, "I'll be back soon," She flew off,
Shining sighed happily, his father was abusive. Then suddenly he heard shouting from his parents, "Night Light! Stay the hell away from me. Shining and Twilight!"
"Why would... I want that...." A long silence occurred, "Bitch coming near me... She betrayed the family.. and.. my trust, now..."
"No she didn't!" Shining covered his ears as he parents started a fight, his eyes watered but soon stopped as someone wrapped their arms around his stomach, turning around it was his aunt, she began lifting him into the air,
"What about Mom?" Shining asked, of course, he was worried what was going to happen to her,
"I'll come back for her, I promise, but getting you out of here is my number one priority right now," Amethyst calmly said as she took flight towards her house, Shining began to cry,
Velvet finally was able to slam the door shut, but like a millisecond later it flung open and Night Light was successfully in the house, he had a half empty glass in his hand. Velvet rolled her eyes at the cliche bottle, "You, fucking bitch," Night said as he swung his fist around, it collided with his wife's face, she took the hit so she didn't look hurt from the attack, she gently pushed him back, Night continued to abuse her, she took all the hits but soon enough she couldn't take any more. Her nose busted, her eye was black and blue, "Night Light! Back off!" She shouted before she spotted Night lifting the glass bottle, he brought it down. As quick as light, he brought it down hard but not hard enough to knock her out. She stumbled back, she was coated in alcohol and glass, using the sharp end he went after his wife but she noticed Amethyst coming in the house silently. She had to be silent. Deadly silent. Night wandered to Velvet as Amethyst walked behind him, then suddenly covered his eyes with her hands and pulled him back. Velvet used this as a chance to run out of the house, Amethyst pushed Night as hard as she could as she made a clean get away,
Shining waited in his temporary bedroom, which was soon to be his forever. He packed his bags and put all of his clothes away, he put all his comics at the side of the bed and his special box in the closet with his clothes. He threw spare bedsheets over it so nobody could find it, then he heard someone knocking on his door. He closed the closet door, jumped onto the bed, grabbed a comic and opened it up, pretending to read it, "Come in," The door opened and his mother walked in, she made her way to the bed and sat down,
"I'm sorry, I wanted to get us out of there, but I made it worse," Without looking away from his comic Shining spoke up,
"You did it, though, we're safe and unharmed," Velvet nervously laughed and got up,
"Yeah. Um head to bed dear, I'll see you in the morning," Shining nodded as Velvet went to the door, she placed her hand on the light switch as Shining placed his comic away and took off his shoes, he was already in his PJ's then climbed back into bed, "Night dear," She switched the light and closed the door, she sighed. Then her sister came upstairs and hugged her,
"I've called the hospital and they are waiting to see you," Velvet smiled, "And the police are aware of what happened and will be heading over to the house to take him away,"
"Thank you Amethyst," They hugged each other once again,
She was fast asleep, in the bed alone. She was waiting for the one she loves to come, but eventually fell asleep, she went to bed earlier due to the fact that she had interviewes the following morning. Her breathing had slowed down drastically as her breath slowly went in and out. To anyone who walked in on her would think she was peaceful, but her sleep was soon interrupted by someone knocking loudly at the bedroom door, "Twilight? Dearest, it's me Rarity. Um, how do I say this? I've just got a message from someone called Amethyst to tell you that your mother has been rushed to hospital," Twilight shot up,
"What?! Come in!" The door opened and Rarity walked in, she was wearing her usual bed robe, Rarity turned the light on, "Can I see the message?" Rarity walked over and handed the phone, Twilight scanned the message, "Shit... I can't go now or tomorrow morning,"
"You'll have to visit her in the afternoon," Rarity said as Twilight nodded,
Twilight hurried into Canterlot the following day, she was worried for her mother. Not having insight on what happened that night, only a horrifying message from her aunt, Twilight has never had to run this fast before. The message read,
1 new message, 3:43 AM, Unknown number: "Hi Rarity, my names Amethyst and I was wondering if you can get this message to Twilight for me as the messages im sending to her isn't going through, anyways. Her mother has just been rushed to hospital as she was badly battered and bruised by Night Light, her father. She's fine but I would love for her to come down and see her and assure her that she's found a place to stay, I've messaged all of her friends the same message. Thanks xx,"
Twilight made it to the hospital and rushed into the building, it seemed to be busy. She went up to the desk and the woman behind it looked up, "Hi, how can I help you?"
"Hi, I got a message this morning that my mum was rushed into hospital round about 3 in the morning and I was wondering if you could tell me where the room is?"
"Twilight Velvet?" Twilight nodded, "Room 409, down the hall and follow the signs,"
Twilight thanked the nice woman and made her way to the room, what felt like hours of searching was actually minutes as she instantly found the room, she walked in to see Amethyst, Shining and Velvet, she smiled as Shining ran up to his big sister and hugged her, "Dad was being a dickhead,"
Velvet chuckled, "Don't use that word Shining dear," Twilight smiled and hugged Shining back,
"I know," They went over to the bed, "How are you?"
Velvet had a swollen eye and a bandage over her nose, "Could be better, but I should be leaving soon, they checked me over to make sure that I didn't break anything," Twilight smiled,
"That's good, what happened then?"
"Your father tried to force his way into the house while drunk, I and Shining were leaving for good when he started swearing, it got heated so I told Shining to leave the house through the back way. Amethyst saw Night trying to get in and saw Shining heading to the back yard so she met him there before taking him away. Then we sort of got into a fight, it just went all downhill from there," Twilight hugged her mom,
"I'm glad you got away from him and out of that house," Twilight said as Amethyst agreed with her,
"The police have been noted about what Night Light did and I think they have gone down to investagate," Amethyst said as Twilight nodded, Velvet then let out a soft laugh,
"Hey, Twilight? Wheres Cadence? You two seemed to be glued together the other night,"
Twilight laughed a little, "Shes at the castle, I was hoping that she was going to sleep where im staying, but she never showed up,"
"Oh, where are you staying anyways?" Velvet asked,
"With Rarity and Fluttershy,"
Velvet smiled, shes met those girls so she was happy that her daughter had a roof over her head. Then the doctor walks in, "Mrs. Velvet? You can head home,"
"Thanks doctor," She turns and gets out of the bed,
"Take it easy and stay away from Night Light,"
"I will,"
The four headed back to Amethyst's house, they were all laughing on the way back and a few conserned citizens asked Velvet what happened and she explained that Shining kicked a ball to her face a little too hard, once arriving Shining tugged on Twilight's shirt, she looked down, "Twilight? Can you visit us once every week?"
"Of course I can," Shining smiled brightly,
"Yey!"
Twilight laughed a little as Amethyst offered to pay for train fair back, Twilight kindly refused but she insisted, Twilight took the money off her aunt as her mom hugged her, "Im sorry for making you worried,"
"You dont have to be sorry about anything, im just glad your safe like i said," They hugged for a minute before pulling away, "I have a hour before i need to go, im going to head off to see Cadence,"
"Okay, sweetie," Velvet said as Twilight hugged everyone,
"I will be visiting you lot very soon," Twilight headed to the door and waved her goodbye before leaving the house,
Twilight headed straight for the castle, she texted Cadence before heading to Canterlot, she asked if it was alright if she came to see her; but no reply. Twilight stopped in her thoughts and tracks, she grabbed her phone from her pocket and unlocked it. She went to messages and clicked on Cadence's number, the message read,
Message delivered, 5:17PM. Twilight: "Hey Cadence, I'm heading to Canterlot to see my mother, I was wondering that during my visit I could pop over? You know, see my favourite girl, love you xx," Seen at 5:18PM,
Twilight checked the time, 6:15PM "Did she ignore me?" Twilight said aloud, she hurried down to the castle. Thoughts rushed through her mind, "Maybe she fell asleep trying to answer back, or hurt herself, or that Luna attacked her. No, no, no! That wont be true!" Twilight had a mental battle with herself as she rushed to the castle, she knew what she just thought of made no fucking sense. When she arrived she noticed the castle guard acting some what strange, it's like they didn't even notice Twilight. Using this as an advantage she walked straight into the castle, as she made her way down the corridor she noticed something all the way to Cadence's bedroom; the guards. They all seemed to be tired, unable to process. Some have even passed out. The whole castle looked to be asleep.
Twilight made her way down slowly, after a few minutes of walking she noticed, Princess Luna's door open slightly. She walked over and poked her head in, Luna looked a whole lot better and she was in a peaceful sleep. Twilight smiled and continued her pursuit to see her lover, no matter what gets in her way, Twilight arrives at Cadence's room after a few minutes of wondering. It's been too long since she visited Cadence in the castle as they normally meet at a cafe or something. Twilight knocked against the door only for it to open slowly, taking this as an invite inside she walks in, Cadence was on the floor, she was hugging her knees and her head was low down. Twilight could hear crying, she went over and hugged Cadence from behind only to get pushed away. Cadence gets up and looks at Twilight, her cheeks stained with tears, it looks to be that she has been crying for hours, "Cadence? What's up?"
"Whats up? Did you really just say that to me?!" Cadence yelled at Twilight, her eyes shot open. Why is Cadence shouting at her,
"Yeah, why are you shouting at me?" Twilight was now confused,
"Don't act like you don't know!"
"I honestly don't know what you're mad at, what have i done?"
Cadence snapped, "You're acting fucking stupid Twilight! You know darn well why I'm pissed, you cheating bitch!"
"Cheating? I haven't cheated on you, I don't know why you would think that,"
Cadence slapped Twilight, "You can fuck off! I thought someone truly loved me but I guess I was wrong," Cadence turned her back,
Twilight placed her hand on her cheek, did Cadence really just slap her. Twilight placed one hand on Cadence's shoulder and spun her around, she wasn't just gonna let that slide, "I love you Cadence! I don't know who said that I would cheat on you, but i didn't,"
"Bullshit Twilight! You never loved me!" Cadence was crying again,
" Cadence please listen,"
"Get out," She said, her voice had no emotion whatsoever,
"What?" Twilight wanted Cadence to repeat, praying she didn't hear that right,
"Get out!"
Twilight felt her heart break in two, she backed away from Cadence, "I do-"
"I said get out!" Cadence slammed her foot against the ground,
"What the fuck have I done Cadence!" Twilight was now shouting,
"Just get the fuck out of my room and the castle! Or I will end you!"
"Are you threatening me?!"
"Get the fuck out!"
Twilight walked out of the room as Cadence slammed the door shut, Twilight heard her scream before running away from her, what's going on with her? Why was she acting so aggressive? Twilight's eyes watered as she made her way out of the castle, she just wanted to get home,
"She just snapped at you?" The shy person said as Twilight nodded,
"Yeah, for no reason, Fluttershy. She started saying I was cheating on her and I never really loved her,"
"That sounds awful," Fluttershy said as she made Twilight a drink,
"It was,"
Silence. Fluttershy made Twilight her drink and handed it to her, Twilight took a sip as someone walked into the kitchen of the house, it was Rarity. She had been out all day due to a fashion crisis in Manehatten, she saw Twilight leaning over the table and Fluttershy's worried expression in her eyes, "Have I missed anything, Darling?"
"Yeah," Fluttershy said as Twilight started crying again, "It's about Cadence,"
Rarity went over and hugged Twilight, she looked up at Rarity and smiled, "Thanks," She wiped her eyes,
