The sun shone through the window, falling across Sweetie Belle's bed, and slowly across her. She pulled the blanket over her head, trying to block out the light, but then came a rapping at the door. "Sweetie Belle? Sweetie Belle are you still sleeping? It's time to get up. There is no sense in sleeping the entire day away when you could be outside doing something, or be helping me. So get up." The silence from before remained until Sweetie Belle popped her head out from under the covers, looking groggy, and ready to fall back asleep. She groaned and rolled over, pulling her pillow over her face as she did.

"Why does Rarity always have to be so pushy? It's the weekend, and I don't get to sleep in. I never get to sleep in. In fact, I actually wake up at times that even mom and dad didn't get up at. What time is it?" She leaned over and looked at the clock on the table and brought her hoof to her face. It was 7:30 in the morning, the crack of dawn. She sighed and got to her hooves and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She didn't want Rarity yelling at her for not doing that as well. She then made her way out of the room and to the kitchen, taking a seat at the table, and laying her head on it. "Rarity, why do I have to get up so early? It's the weekend! Scootaloo and Apple Bloom won't be awake for hours because they get to sleep in!" She complained to her older sister who was currently busy cooking some breakfast.

"Oh Sweetie Belle, you are better than those two by getting up at such a time. Most fillies your age wouldn't get up even if water was poured on them, but not you, you are learning from me! And what are you learning? Why how to be a proper mare of etiquette. And all proper mares get up early to get a start on the day." She replied to her before turning towards her. "Isn't that what you want? To be proper, and to be praised for getting up at such a time? For not everypony can say they get up at 7:30 every morning. Especially not every filly."

"But I don't want to be a proper mare like you Rarity! I don't like getting up so early because I only feel tired later because I didn't get enough sleep. I want to sleep in on weekends and be able to get up when I want to, not when you want me to." Sweetie complained more. She slammed her hooves on the table,"And I certainly don't like being told what to do and how to live by my sister! You aren't mom or dad!"

Rarity stared at her sister for a moment, disbelief on her face before she turned away, and held her head high. "Well then Sweetie Belle, it seems we still have nothing in common, and will never get along then. And if you are going to refuse to live how I would like you to in my own home, then I guess I will have to let Mother and Father know that they are to come and take you home."

"But I don't want to go back home with them! I want to stay here where I am closer to my friends so that way I can visit them easier, and they can visit me. If I go live with Mom and Dad, I'll go crazy!" She cried out to Rarity's sudden decision.

"Well Sweetie Belle, you should have thought about that before having your sudden outburst of anger all over me not letting you sleep in. I am sorry to break it to you, darling, but life is not going to come to you on a silver platter. You have to take it, and if you aren't willing to do so, just because you want to get more sleep when you could be doing something, then you can just leave. So, that is exactly what you will be doing. Mother and Father will be alerted in a couple hours, and then they will be by to retrieve you. I am tired of you always complaining that I do everything wrong by you. That I am the reason you are unhappy at times, and that I am the reason you aren't getting anywhere. I am tired of being blamed for all your faults." Rarity snapped back, turning and walking towards her sister, her voice rising as she strode towards her. When she finished speaking, she was face to face with Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle looked back at her sister now, her own eyes wide with disbelief, anger and sadness. Her older sister had disowned her....again. But this time, it was serious, she was being sent away.

"I....I hate you Rarity! I never want to talk to you again!" She screamed in Rarity's face. She stood from the table and ran from the room, crying. Rarity turned away as if unphased. She had taken enough from her sister, and was putting her hoof down.

"Good job Rarity. You finally put her in her place, perhaps maybe she will learn to respect you again after spending some time with our parents." She said to herself before finishing making breakfast and going to the table.

Sweetie Belle ran out of the house and over to the Apple Farm. She ran up into Apple Blooms room and pushed the door in, looking around. Apple Bloom was not in the room. Apple jack came up behind her a moment later. "Sorry Sweetie, but Apple Bloom had ta get up early to help Big Macintosh. They are out in the west Orchard gatherin' apples fer apple sauce. She'll be busy all day."

"Thanks Apple Jack...." She said, turning to her and looking to the floor. She walked past the mare in the doorway and quietly left the house. Apple Jack watched her leave, worriedly. Sweetie Belle made her way off the farm, stopping under a tree and looking out towards Ponyville ahead of her. "Why does Rarity treat me so badly? What have I ever done to deserve to be treated like I'm not her sister. She has never loved me. I bet when we did the sisterhooves social, she was just leading me to believe the entire time that she cared when she didn't...." Sweetie Belle had not yet noticed the signs in her changing mental state, but already something was changing. "This whole place would be better without her! Then no pony would have to deal with her over reacting, with her 'proper mare' nonsense. I bet no pony would even care if she was gone." She said to herself angrily. She stood up and stomped back towards the Boutique, ready to give her sister a piece of her mind.

When she arrived at the Boutique, there was already a buggy outside of it. Her parents were already here? But how? They lived so far away..unless....Did they plan on this before? On coming and taking her away? Or did they just come to visit on the worst day imaginable? She approached the door and pushed it in, revealing Rarity and her parents in the main entry way, Rarity looking annoyed. "Ah there she is! There's my little Sweetie Belle!" Said their mother to Sweetie as she entered the room. Rarity looked over at her and away, ignoring her presence now.

"As I was trying to say mother, I would like for you to take Sweetie Belle with you when you leave. I do not think she is getting anything by staying with me, in fact, I fear she is actually becoming lazy by staying with me, and will never get the life she should have for I cannot get her to believe that being a Proper mare is important. In fact, this morning she told me she did not wish to listen to me, and this is not the first time. I am tired of it." Rarity finally said to her mother. Sweetie Belle finally had enough.

"You shut up Rarity! I am not getting anything by staying with you because you are always mean and heartless to me! You never let me do anything I want to do. You are always making me help you with your dress making when I don't want to. And whenever your stupid cat scratches me, you always yell at ME! It's always my fault she attacked me while I was sitting and coloring, or when I go in the kitchen to get some milk and she jumps on my back, making me drop the milk. Well excuse me for not being perfect Rarity, but you know what? You aren't perfect either! You are less perfect than me! You are always crying and complaining. And when you aren't you are always weighing your friends down, holding them back because you are afraid to get dirty or to mess up your mane!" She screamed at her before stomping away.

Their father watched Sweetie Belle stomp away before turning to Rarity. "Well anywho, we are gonna stay and visit the town for a couple days, but I guess we could take her with. We were just gettin used to having the spare room." He turned to his wife and smiled before telling Rarity when they'd return, and leaving. Rarity looked to the stairs and mumbled under her breath. Sweetie Belle had hit her where it hurt. But she had no idea what was to come...

Sweetie Belle sat up in her room, staring at the wall. She had been sitting there for over 2 hours now. The day had already progressed to noon. She had a headache, and an odd feeling of wanting to get back at Rarity. She stood up and went to the door as it flung open. "Sweetie Belle, you crossed the line earlier when Mother and Father were here. Telling me I am weighing my friends down, calling me heartless. Now you listen to me Sweetie Belle, my friends love me. And I love them. If I were heartless, then I would have just thrown you in the street and told you to walk home. And it appears that is exactly what I am going to have to do. I cannot put up with it anymore! You are to leave in 20 minutes." Sweetie Belle looked up at her, her left eye twitching for a moment.

"You are going to kick me out into the streets and make me walk home?" She asked her. "You would do that to your own sister...You stand here saying you aren't heartless...and you are going to throw me into the streets...." Her voice started to slowly rise. "Well guess what Rarity...I can be just as mean. Just as cruel." Her eye twitched again and her horn glowed a little. The entire time Rarity had been speaking to her, her hatred had started to boil over. Rarity looked down at her.

"Oh really? Well I would Like to see that then. Because I don't think you even know what cruel is yet. In fact, I will show you cruel." Her own horn glowed as well as Sweetie Belle's stuff floated into the air from dressers, drawers and the floor, and the window opened. She walked to the window, and threw it all out into the ground. She turned around and looked at Sweetie before picking her up from the floor and bringing her to herself with her horn. "Now. Get out Sweetie Belle." She started to walk towards the door, bringing Sweetie Belle with her. Sweetie looked back out the window where all her stuff was, and growled. As Rarity started through the door, it swung shut suddenly, slamming into her muzzle, and sending her backwards into the room. A metal music box from Sweetie's possessions floated into the room from the window and landed next to Sweetie Belle who had been dropped to the floor. The window shut, and the blinds closed.

"I'm done with you Rarity. I'm going to make my life better starting right here." She approached her with the music box and looked down at her. Rarity groaned and brought a hoof to her muzzle. Her nose was bleeding from the impact of the door.

"Sweetie....Belle...What are you...doing?" She said opening an eye. She looked up into the face of her sister and saw the anger in her eyes. "Sweetie...Wait...." Sweetie brought the music box across her face, an audible metal clang sounding as she hit her sister in the face. Rarity's head jerked to the left as the box his the right side. Almost instantly, her face started to swell. "Wait..." She begged under her sister, but the box slammed against the left side of her face, releasing the audible Clang once more.

"No. No waiting. This was coming eventually, and is actually behind. If you are going to go through your life treating everypony you meet so badly just because they aren't proper, then maybe you need to be shown something Rarity." She slammed the box into her face again, then again, bringing the pace up. She brought it back and slammed it onto Rarity's horn, cracking it, and putting a hole into the music box. Rarity's face was now swollen and bleeding. Her horn cracked jaggedly down the middle. She was unconscious. Sweetie walked out of the room and started going through things in the home. She returned later with a hammer, nails, rope, and more....

When Rarity awoke, she felt a throbbing in her head. She felt the wooden floor beneath her and thought maybe she had dreamt what had happened or that Sweetie had left. She was wrong. She opened her eyes and looked around. She couldn't see too well as her left eye was nearly swollen shut, her right had blood in it. "W-where am I..? Sweetie Belle?" A single hoof step sounded near her. She strained her head to look and saw Sweetie Belle out of the corner of her eye. The window behind her. It was covered with a thick blanket, and candles were all over the room, the light above had a wire leading from it, there was no bulb as it lay next to her head on the floor. She tried to move her legs, but found them bound to the corners of the room by nails hammered deep into the floor. A black blanket was along the far wall, appearing to be covering things.

"You should never have treated me so badly Rarity." Sweetie said quietly.

"Sweetie Belle...Please...Don't do this. You...you can't! I'm your sister! What happened to the sweet little sister I used to have! She was the Sweetest Belle in the world and I loved her!" She cried out

"You happened. You changed on me. You pushed me to this." She looked to the black blanket and moved it, revealing sharp tools, and other assortments. All of Rarity's needles for sewing were also there.

"Wh-what are you going to do to me Sweetie? Stop this at once before I make you! I'm warning you Sweetie Belle! Let me---!" A sharp pain stopped her thought as 2 thick rocks slammed together on her horn, crushing it, and sending micro cracks down into Rarity's head. The majority of the horn snapped of, falling to the floor in chunks. What was left was a white stump momentarily before it started to bleed down onto her forehead and face. It wasn't bad bleeding, but it was enough. Rarity screamed in pain, but a rubber ball and a piece of cloth quickly shut her up.

"Be quiet Rarity!" Sweetie yelled at her sister. She brought the needles over to her. "Now I'm going to do this town a favor and get rid of you...Slowly. That way you can think of how much better place this will be when you are gone!!!" Sweetie started to put the needles across Rarity's body, pushing them deep. All were pushed at least 2 inches in. She avoided areas she knew that would kill her, and put them where she knew they would hurt the most. Rarity cried through the gag, but could do nothing. Her horn was destroyed, she had no magic. Sweetie finished putting the needles in after 20 minutes and stood over her sister's face, 2 needles left. "How are you feeling Rarity? I see the fear in your eyes...the anger. Well, do you see the anger in mine?" She growled before taking the 2 needles and shoving them into the center of each of Rarity's eyes. Rarity shrieked in pain through the gag, but could not stop the pain. She faded out then, she woke up a few minutes later, the needles still in her body.

"Sweetie Belle...Why would you do this....Why?" She cried, finding the gag had been removed.

"Because you made me." Was the only reply. A sharp pain went across Rarity's inner left thigh on her rear leg. She cried out again before a heavy object slammed across her face once again. "I'm done gagging you. Now every time you scream or cry, I'm going to hit you in the head with this rock I found in your closet. The big crystal." Rarity couldn't see, but she knew which one it was. As for the pain in her thigh, Sweetie had taken a sharp knife from the kitchen and sliced shallowly down her leg, from the edge of her crotch, to the first joint in her leg. The cut was enough to cause bad bleeding, but not yet fatal. Sweetie smirked and set something down next to Rarity before grabbing something else as well. "Rarity, I realized something...I want you to see this...." The needles pulled out of her eyes before a sensation came...and the pain in her eyes stopped. She opened her eyes slowly, and saw a blurry room.

"A-are you going to let me go...?" She asked her sister, looking to her blurry outline.

"Let you go? No." She said to her,"I'm going to make you watch." She picked up another item and approached Rarity. "You see this? This is a stick I have is filled with red ants. See the holes? Now guess what I'm doing with this stick?" She asked Rarity as the stick levitated out of sight. "I'm going to put it in you." The stick jammed down into Rarity's crotch. She felt the pain of it forcing in, and started to scream before being silenced by the crystal again as it slammed onto her face. A crunch sounded as her left cheek bone broke and caved a little. Rarity's vision got jagged sharp, red and yellow colors through it as the pain enveloped her. Then came more....The red ants in the wood crawled out finally and started biting...causing pain from her abdomen.

"Sweetie....please stop this...!" She tried to plea.

Sweetie Belle looked at her. "I don't think I'm going to use any of the other tools over there....I think it's time to just finish this already. I don't like looking into your eyes when you are pleading and sad like that, brings memories to mind that make me sad, none of them, of course are good. I'll wake you in a minute..." The crystal slammed into her head again, knocking her out for a second time.

When Rarity awoke again, she was suspended in the air. The ropes pulled taught holding her hooves above her head, and to the sides, and her rear legs were stretched out as well. The scent of urine in the air. "Sweetie....." She started to speak, but couldn't form the rest of the words.

"Don't speak Rarity...." Was the returned voice. A whirring was heard as the ropes tightened slightly. Rarity opened her eyes and looked around slowly, her head hurting, and face hurting. she blinked slowly a few times before finally seeing what had been set up. Sweetie had made a small pulley system from her spools, nails, and strong ropes. "You see Rarity, I already sent a letter out to Twilight, as if from you, saying that you were done. And that you had decided to end yourself, allowing her and the rest of your friends to move on without you to hold them back. By the time they arrive to talk to you, and try and help you, you'll be gone...." She said. She turned and looked at her sister, before approaching her slowly, looking her in the eyes. Rarity looked back, and saw she had a crazed look. She didn't understand...how could she have pushed her to such a length that she would kill her? What had she ever done to make her sister so unhappy....to go insane...?

"S-sweetie Belle....please don't hurt me....Y-you can stay....we can work things out..." Rarity tried to beg.

"No Rarity, there is no more we, there is only me, Sweetie Belle....I am, after all, the Sweetest belle around." Her small horn glowed then and the rope pulled taught. "Goodbye Rarity." She took a step back, and pulled the rope tight enough for a small pop in each limb of Rarity's body as the bones dislocated. It was in these seconds, Rarity felt the pull of one final rope around her neck. Sweetie Belle stepped out of the room and closed he doors before yanking the ropes as hard as she could. 4 tears and a short scream were heard. Sweetie ran upstairs and looked out the window to the front street and saw the 5 mares running for their friends house. She turned and ran down the stairs looking scared, faking it of course.

The door to he boutique broke in as Apple Jack kicked it, not taking the time to knock. All but Twilight rushed in, she approached Sweetie Belle and looked down at her,"What's wrong Sweetie Belle? Why are you shaking and looking at me like you saw something.....Oh my Celestia...Where's Rarity?" she was worried, extremely so. She looked a Sweetie as she looked to the door.

"I-I heard a scream...." She said shakily. Pinkie Pie led the way to the door and stopped just outside it, waiting for Twilight to approach.

"Pinkie....Take Sweetie Belle upstairs please...." She told her, approaching the door, and looking at the knob. Pinkie ran back and did as told, she knew something must be wrong. But felt that it was right she wasn't there to see it...She didn't feel she could handle it. Twilight looked at the other 3.

"Go on Twilight. Open 'er up and hope fer the best." Apple Jack said to her, nervous, but wanting to get this moment past and see Rarity in there, screaming over a hair or something. Twilight pushed the door open. Fluttershy ran from the scene and out of the building. Rainbow Dash fell to the floor next to Twilight, to shocked to keep flying. Apple Jack and Twilight both covered their mouths with a hoof, and stepped back away from the door.

The floor of the room was soaked red from blood. Hanging from two of the 3 top ropes were completely severed. Her head suspended in the center of the room. A look of absolute pain and sadness forever in her face...:Her left foreleg held several feet away A bone sicking out of i from where it would have been the shoulder joint. The right foreleg was a different story,It held the stump main mass of her body, the only thing worth noticing on it was the red tail dragging along the ground slowly as the entire piece swung gently from side to side. Blood continued to drip from the ragged strips of torn flesh and fur, but nothing more occurred. Twilight slowly pushed the door shut with her magic, but continued to stare at the door afterwards, her expression one of horror, and extreme sadness.

"Why Rarity.....why......" her eyes watered as she started to cry, joined by Applejack a moment later. The two devastated from losing one of their best friends. Rainbow Dash remained in place, unmoving. Upstairs Pinkie sat holding Sweetie Belle, and started to cry the moment she heard the other 2. Sweetie simply looked forward, a creepy smile on her face, and a small glint in her eye. Sweetie Belle stood from the crying Pinkie, and slowly walked away. She walked downstairs, and went right past the 3 in the hall, pushing the door open. She looked up at the remains of Rarity and in an odd tone that shut the others up said only 2 words, the last she would ever speak

"Goodbye Rarity."
