A story about 2 friends who find themselves in Equestria

Two best friends were executed by soldiers and were given the chance to go to Equestria. They accept and lived life as ponies whilst also meeting the Mane 6. After wandering around town, they choose to work at the library with Twilight. As days go on, much more happens in their life in Equestria. Do they have it in them to go through it? Possible but not quiet yet. Many adventures await them in Equestria.

Author's Note : Other Side is a little something I want to do in which it shows the story from a different perspective. Each chapter of Other Side is released after a few chapters of Fluxious Hooves (hopefully)

More Author's Note : I've decided that I will hide Fluxious Hooves for now, maybe Electric and I will rewrite it with a different story. That means the story is (technically) complete.

This story's intro is heavily inspired from Kickass222urmom's Living The Dream, So you might see lots of similarities.

The Korean translation have a high probability of being wrong.

This is my first story, which is long shot. Criticism is welcomed and if you have any ways to help me improve my writing or ideas that sounds suitable with the story are welcomed.

Chapter One : My Friend and I Went To Another World

“이봐! 너희 둘! 여기에 옵니다.” (Hey! You two! Get over here.) said the North Korean guard as he opened the cell door.

Me and my best friend understood then stood up slowly and approached the guard that held a Tokarev pistol pointed towards us. We followed him along the narrow corridor to a different room. It was bigger than the most rooms in here, but it is clear that this room is no ordinary place.

We could see blood stains on the walls and the floor which made me panic a bit. As I glanced over to my friend, his face has still not changed since we got thrown into the cell. He always had a pissed off look on his face and it never changed, not even in this situation. He stands at 5’9 while I stood at an average 5’11. We were pretty fit as far as I am concerned but have gone skinnier these past few weeks because of the lack of food in this dump.

“무릎 꿇어 !” (Get on your knees!)

the guard motioned his gun towards the ground and we obeyed. The worst part is about to happen. I always wondered what the afterlife was like. Two guards came into the room and walked behind us while cocking their gun and then pointed it to the back of our heads. I took a final glance at my friend and his expressions still have not changed. I closed my eyes.

*BANG*

Suddenly, I feel as if my body was floating in the air. When I opened my eyes, all I could see was whiteness. As I turned around I see my friend standing there with his arms crossed looking at me while I struggle to keep myself straight. I finally set myself upright, when we heard a familiar voice all of the sudden.

“Greetings, gentlemen. Feeling well?” The voice asked.

“Is that Morgan Freeman?” Amir raised his eyebrow.

“I am not the person who you think I am.” He spoke.

“I am the Rapture, savior of lost souls,” He explained. “You got captured and killed, that is correct?”

“Uhh, why yes of course.” I answered.

“Well then, It seems that today is your lucky day. I’m in a good mood for now so I will allow you to be sent to whatever world you wish to live in, and by whatever world, I actually mean that. Your imagination is the limit.“

My mind was flowing with ideas to where I wanted to go, then I looked at my friend. He looked like Steve Buscemi at this point.

I chuckled and asked him: “So, where do you want to go?”

He looked at me and grinned. “How about Equestria?”

Of course, why didn’t I thought of that.

“That sounds like a great idea!” I said.

It seemed like the best place to go and escape from all the problems in the world.

“Equestria then, gentlemen?” The Rapture who was portrayed as Morgan Freeman asked us.

We both nodded simultaneously. Then suddenly we fell through something that looked like a time vortex from Doctor Who and watched as the views changed. Then the background changed to white and finally, sky blue. Wait, sky blue?

“OH FUCK!” I panicked as I was freefalling in the air.

I looked around for my friend but had no luck finding him. I noticed I had turned into a pony and had wings, so I tried about flapping them. I succeeded at opening my wings which made me accelerate even faster downwards. Then I stared at the forest racing in towards me. My eyes widened.

“This is how I die!”

*Snap*
*Branches breaking*
*Thud*

I groaned and got up slowly. I looked at my body, there was a semi-large cut on my ass, or should I say ‘flank’ now.

“Ugh, no big deal, right?” I said to myself as I tried to man up.

As I examined more of my body, I discovered my body looked greyish white and my mane had black & blue streaks. My flank had no cutie mark on it.

“Oh well.” I stopped examining myself and started to look for my friend.

[Shock Wave’s POV]

~Meanwhile on plain fields somewhere near Ponyville.

I opened my eyes and found myself laying on some plains. It felt strange during the transition but it was bearable. I looked over my body to see no scratches or anything.

“Noice.” I tried to imitate an australian accent.

I realized that my hands have changed into hooves. I thought having hooves after having hands would be pretty unnatural but somehow they weren’t. I stood up somehow pretty easily and examined my body. I had a candy apple red body and a blond mane with a single streak of black hair coming down from it.

I seemed to be a unicorn because I felt a horn sticking out of my skull. I also realized that I had a rad moustache and beard combo. but no cutie mark.

“I thought Danny said that everypony has those thingies? Might come to me later down the road,”

“Oh crap! Where the hell is Danny?!”

I suddenly realized that my friend was not beside me. I tried to calm myself since I am not that well versed with pony knowledge.

“Great, now I’m lost.” I sighed.

The best thing to do now was to get out of here and look for Daniel. After a few minutes of trying to get out of the fields, I stumbled upon a dirt road that doesn’t seem to lead anywhere but I did noticed a farm, So I guess going there is my objective for now.

I walked there slowly because I was pretty tired and the sun was beaming straight towards my face. As I approached the barn, I stumbled upon a rather recognizable orange pony. It could be a pony that Danny always showed me back on Earth.

I walked towards her and tried to approach her without looking like a complete asshole considering my face looks like a guy going through his worst day ever.

“Ahem, Ma’am.” I said to her.

The orange mare turned around and said “Howdy, what can I do to help ya?”

I attempted to smile for once and asked “Umm, have you seen my friend around here?”

“Well, what does your partner look like?”

Ahh crap, haven’t thought of this one yet. “Umm, he looks like none of the pony you have ever seen before...”

Whew, that was pretty close but I don’t think I’ll get much from that.

“Well, Ah’ haven’t seen anythin’ odd today, so Ah’ have to say I haven’t seen your friend. By the way, what’s your name pardner?”

Oh crap, what now? Should I use a pony name or something? Oh wait...

I thought for a few seconds and then said “Shock Wave.”

I had always wanted to use that name and now I got the chance to use it. “And yours?”

“The name’s Applejack.” Oh, now I remember her name.

Danny was always saying Applejack is the best pony. I never understood him when he said that.

“Oh, that is a really nice name.” I said whilst also thinking that I have turned soft or something but mama always taught me to be nice to new people.

“Thanks, sugarcube.” She smiled.

“So, What is the nearest town from here?”

“Closest town is Ponyville which is north of here.”

I thanked her went on my way. And so began my life in Equestria with my best friend Danny who is the only person I can rely on when it comes to these ponies.

[Electric Dazzle's POV]

~Everfree Forest

I found out that this was the Everfree Forest, judging from the looks of this ‘forest’ which seemed more like a jungle to me, and wooden wolf things I had to run away from, I forgot what they were called. I was lost.

“Why don’t I just fly then?” I facehoofed.

I sprang up and instantly fell down on my face, also known as a faceplant. Why am I being so trivial today?

“This is gonna take a while.” I mumbled and tried again,

Somewhat succeeding, I merely kept myself in the air. I hovered forward with confidence. I gained some altitude and I saw the forest above me which made me a bit dizzy so I looked forward and flew faster. I saw an orange pony and instantly recognized it, so I got closer.

“Hey, uhh… Have you seen a pony that was looking for me?” I asked her.

“I sure did sugarcube, he went straight to Ponyville.”

“Thanks.”

I flew off to Ponyville, although I didn’t know which way I was supposed to go to. I facehoofed and turned back.

“Sorry, but um… Which way is Ponyville?” I asked with a sheepish smile. She pointed her hoof to a road. I thanked her and went on my way.

After 10 minutes…

I landed on the ground and sighed in relief. I walked into town and found Shock Wave since it was obvious that he had no cutie mark and stood out of the crowd. I grinned as I walked up behind him and tapped him on the back. He got startled and punched me straight in the jaw.

“OW FUCK MAN WHAT THE HELL!“

I yelled in sudden pain, making everypony look at us in disgust. Shock Wave looked at him and realized that is his best friend’s voice.

“Danny, is that you? You look pretty gay.” He chuckled.

I looked back at him with an annoyed look while rubbing my jaw.

“Oh yeah? and you don’t?”

“As far as I am concerned, I look pretty damn sick.”

“You look like a Swede.” I grinned. “That’s already an insult.”

“Hey, I ain’t racist so you can call me whatever you want. So what do you want to do now?”

I shrugged “I dunno. How about we go check out the place? Besides, I’m fucking starving.”

“Sure. It’s not like I have a plan myself. We could probably go to that library tree thing on our way as well and probably find a way to check out the palace.”

“Right, totally not cliché…” I mumbled to myself.

“What was that?”

“Oh, nothing.”

As we walked around looking for a restaurant, we saw Spike carrying too many books, resulting them to fall. I went up to him.

“Hey bro, need a hand?”

He looked at me quizzically.

“A hand?”

I realized and facehoofed “Yeah, um… Hand is slang for hoof where I come from… I guess,”

“Sure, you can help me out.”

I nodded and picked up a few books and placed them on my back. Shock Wave did the same. We followed Spike to the treehouse and entered it.

“Looks kinda bigger on the inside.” I exclaimed.

“Physics doesn’t tend to apply in cartoons.” Shock Wave stated.

“What’s a cartoon?” Spike questioned as he heard me and Shock Wave talking.

“You guys don’t have television or something?.” Shock Wave asked.

“No idea what you guys are talking about. You guys can put the books on the table over there.” Spike said while pointing at a nearby table. Both of us put the books on the table whilst we hear steps coming down from upstairs.

“Spike, you got the books I wanted you to get?”

The lavender mare stopped and looked at us.

“And who might you gentlecolts be?” She asked.

“These are just some new ponies in town.” Spike responded to her.

“Oh, really?” She asked.

“Name’s Shock Wave.” Shock Wave said confidently.

“And mine is Electric Dazzle, at your service.” I grinned.

“My name is Twilight Sparkle, It’s nice to meet you.” she smiled.

“That’s a very nice name ma’am.” said Shock Wave.

I looked at him and thought “Has this guy gone soft or something?”

“Why thank you, Shock Wave.” Said Twilight.

My stomach started to grumble. Twilight raised her eyebrow at this, I gave her a sheepish smile in return.

“I can give you two some bits as a reward for helping Spike.” She levitated a small bag of bits, I reached out my hoof and the bag landed on it.

“Thanks a lot, Twilight!” I grinned.

“Oh It’s no problem, now if you two won’t mind, I have some business to do. I’ll see you later.”

“Okay, bye then.” I waved and turned around to head outside, resulting the door closing behind us.

I examined the bag of bits. 12 bits, huh? Not sure if that’s a lot. We left the library in search of food since I was super hungry after all that flying. As we walked down the roads of Ponyville, we stumbled upon a nice small cafe which sells pretty cheap food. We went into the cafe and walked straight towards the cashier. The place seems to be pretty empty at the moment. I looked at the menu, and gazed my eyes upon a dandelion sandwich. Meh, why not.

“One dandelion sandwich, please.”

“that’ll be 2 gold bits, sir.” I hoofed the cashier 2 gold bits and gave 2 bits to Shock Wave.

“Yeah, thanks.” Shock Wave turned to the cashier and said “Can I get a… a… hayburger please?”

“Sure thing, Sir. That’ll be 2 bits.” The cashier said. Shock Wave gave the money to the cashier and took the hayburger to a table with me. We sat down and ate the burgers.

“Wow, this thing tastes pretty good for a bunch of hay.” Shock Wave was surprised.

“We are ponies, remember?”

After hanging out at the cafe for awhile, we decided to take off and explore the town a bit.

My Friend, Where Is The Library?

Chapter Two : My Friend, Where’s the library?

“What the hell are we supposed to do now?” I asked Shock Wave.

He turned to me while we were walking down the streets.

“We can do pretty much anything we want too since we’re new here or we could find a job and get ourselves a dang house for once.” Shock Wave suggested.

I nodded in agreement. “Maybe we should tell somepony who we are?”

“Nah, they wouldn’t really understand what we would be talking about and think that we were crazy.”

As we walked along the village I looked at a pony who had a light green coat and had mane a darker shade of green. Something is off about that one pony. I couldn’t really tell why. I went closer to him and eavesdropped him.

“Where the hell am I?! For fucks sake someone tell me!” The pony said in temper.

I recognized who it was by the voice, I trotted up to him.

“Hey, Niko.”

“Huh?” He turned around and I proceeded to punch him in the jaw like Shock Wave did to me earlier.

“Argh! why’d you do that you asshole?” He yelled at me.

“Hey, profanity!” Shock Wave said in the back.

“Wha... why do you dickwads sound so familiar,”

“And how did you know my name?!”

“There would be only 2 people in the universe who would know you.” Shock Wave said to him while smirking.

…

“I don’t follow...” Niko put on a questionable look on his face.

I sighed. “I’m Daniel, and that’s Amir over there.” I pointed at Amir.

Niko’s eyes widened. “No way, you guys are here too?”

“I’m more surprised that you’re here,” I said to him, “Anyway, how the hell did you end up in this place?”

Niko thought for a moment, and then said “I think I got hit by a car… That’s all I could remember then I woke up in an empty room of whiteness. Greeted by an old black guy.”

“Wow, way to insult a very amazing person.” Shock Wave exclaimed.

“Shut up. Why am I in this world?” Niko asked.

I shrugged. “We asked the Rapture to send us here as ponies, no idea why would you come here.”

“Equestria? As ponies? That’s just great…” He felt frustrated.

“You could follow us or you could go around here on your own. Your choice.” Shock Wave said to Niko.

“Well whatever, I’ll just follow you guys then.”

We then walked around town for around 20 minutes whilst suddenly Shock Wave said “You know what, let’s go to the library and ask Twilight what to do. Walking around town like this surely won’t get us anywhere.”

“You’re right.” I sighed. We headed to the treehouse and knocked on the door.

*Knock Knock*

The door was opened by Spike. “Oh it’s you guys. What do you need?” He asked.

“Is Twilight still busy?”

“Nah, she’s not. You can come in.”

We walked inside.

“And who is your friend there?” Spike asked me.

“None of your business.” Niko blurted out.

“Oh, well okay then.” Spike rolled his eyes and went upstairs to call Twilight.

After like 5 seconds, Twilight came downstairs and saw us.

“Oh it’s you again, Shock Wave and Electric Dazzle right? So, what do you need?” She asked.

“Well, since we’re pretty much new here, we kinda need your help. We want to get a job so we can get our own place here or probably luckily enough up in Canterlot but it seems like it is a bit more difficult than we first thought. Can you probably give us some leads?” Shock Wave said in a long breath.

“Oh, If it’s a job you guys are looking for, you guys can help me and Spike around the library for some gold bits every week. It can get real messy around here with the books.” Twilight offered.

“That sounds great but we also need a place to sleep.” Shock Wave said.

“We got a spare room upstairs but you 3 have to share.” Twilight said.

“It’s okay, we can share the room.” Electric Dazzle voiced.

“That’s so gay.” Niko snorted..

“Shut up Niko.” I hushed him. Twilight raised her eyebrow yet again.

“Aaanyway, you can start by sending those books to the Canterlot Castle. Oh and Shock Wave, Since you’re a unicorn you can stay here at the library and help me arrange the books.”

“Oh, okay.” He frowned because he had wanted to go to Canterlot to see the castle.

“Ha.” I chuckled.

“Piss off.” Shock Wave waved me off.

Twilight gave me and Niko a saddlebag to put all the books inside. After acquiring the books we went outside and towards the direction of Canterlot.

~At Canterlot Castle

After flying for a few minutes, we finally arrive at the front of the castle. As we were walking into the castle courtyard, the two royal guards stopped us.

“What is your business here?” One of the guards asked.

“Uhh, we gotta get these books in the library, under Twilight Sparkle’s orders.” I explained.

“You may pass.”

The guard allowed us to enter the castle. Without hesitation, Niko and I went straight inside. We asked for directions to the castle’s library. The guard showed us the way and we followed him to it. Once we enter the library, we put the books on the shelves and headed out.
While we were walking in the entrance, a gray mare galloped up to us.

“Sir, you are summoned in the throne room by the princess, follow me.”

Niko and I followed the pony to the throne room. when we finally arrived, the guards opened the doors and we were introduced to the sight of Princess Celestia.

“Ah, my guests. I believe there is one more of your friends at Twilight’s place.” The princess stated.

“How do you know that?” I asked the princess.

“There are a few things about me that a lot of ponies do not know,”

“For instance, I can sense when there is something happening that is beyond our knowledge.” She smiled, and continued, “And when you came here, I knew something was quite different in you,”

“In fact, you’re not from this planet at all.” She had a grin on her face.

Now I was scared. I should’ve seen this coming. She’s probably going to go full Molestia on us, may lord help us all.

“Don’t worry, I won’t do that to you poor ponies.” She chuckled.

My eyes widened. She can read my fucking mind?

(somewhere out there… There’s a Shock Wave yelling “Profanity!”)

“I just wanted to welcome you to Equestria, I’m sure everypony’s treating you well?”

“Yes, no doubt. Ponyville is like, the best place ever.” I gave her a sheepish smile.

“I am glad to hear that. I suppose I’ll let you go now, tell Twilight I shall be visiting in a couple days.”

“Uh, okay. Thank you, Princess.” We retreated to the doors and briskly trotted outside.

~The Treehouse Earlier [Shock Wave’s POV]

Damn it, how is it that Danny and Niko gets to go to the Castle and I have to stay here. But whatever, at least I can rest for a moment and do some light work. I then lifted some books to the shelves whilst Twilight did the same.

Suddenly, Twilight asked, “So Shock, who was your other friend? He didn’t really introduced himself.”

“Oh, he is just Electric’s old friend. I have only seen him a few times before.” I stated.

“So you’re not really tight with him?”

“I have to say no.” She then nodded as if she understood.

A few minutes went without any words. I noticed how she looks like blushing a little bit or something. I couldn’t really tell.

“Are you really sure it’s okay with us staying here? I mean like, you’re getting 3 new roommates at once.”

I asked to break the silence. She suddenly jumped and realized that she wasn’t really doing much work. She then said nervously “It’s.. It’s fine, Shock. I.. I sometimes get bored here with Spike all the time. We don’t really get much visitors here.”

“Oh, okay then. If we are starting to bother you, you can tell us and we will leave.”

“Oh no, I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t happen. I hope.”

I grinned and continued my work. After a few minutes of cleaning the place, we heard a knock on the door. Spike went to the door to answer it. We were greeted by who I believe was Rarity. Also one of the ponies that Danny mentioned.

“Hey Twilight, it’s Rarity!” Spike said to Twilight which also proves my suspicions correct. Spike let Rarity inside the treehouse and she went straight towards Twilight.

“Twilight, I need your help. I need to find a book... Who’s your friend here?” Rarity asked Twilight.

“Oh, him? He is new in town with his two other friends. They are currently helping me around the library for now. The other two aren’t here right now, they’re sending books to the castle.”

“The name is Shock Wave. It’s nice to meet you miss..” Damn, I totally am getting softer.

“Just call me Rarity, darling.” Rarity said.

“As I said earlier, I need to find a book on classical attire.” continued Rarity.

“Oh, I think I have one of those around here somewhere. Let me just go check,” Twilight replied.

“So you’re new in town?” Rarity asked me while raising an eyebrow.

“Yeh, me and my friends just recently got here.” I answered instantly.

“And where did you and your friends come from?” She asked again.

I hesitated to answer because I don’t really know anything about Equestria.

“We.. uhh.. we..” I tried to think of an answer.

Suddenly the door slammed open. Thank god for this sudden intrusion.

“HEY GIRLS!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she and the rest of the Mane 6 entered.

“Pinkie, do you really have to shout every time we get in here?” Rainbow Dash reasoned.

Rarity and I looked at the door while suddenly Twilight popped out of nowhere.

“Oh, hey guys. Come on in. Well, it seems like you’re already inside.” Twilight welcomed them.

“Oooh, who’s your new friend, Twilight?!” Pinkie asked excitedly whilst jumping up and down.

“This is Shock Wave, darling. there’s also two others somewhere else. They’re new in town.” Rarity explained.

“OH MY CELESTIA, NEW PONIES IN TOWN?! This means we have to… CELEBRATE!!” Pinkie announced abruptly.

“Oh no, not again.” Rainbow Dash said while facehoofing.

“Well, I’m not the party type, but I think my friends would love a party.” I said.

“THEY DO?!” Pinkie yelled out of joy.

“Yeah, definitely.” I said while smiling. I’m most certainly not into partying that much. Oh well.

“Howdy Shock, remember me?.” said Applejack.

“Oh Applejack, I totally remember you.” I greeted her.

“You two know each other?” Twilight suddenly asked while the other Mane 6 had the same thought.

“Yeah, she was the one who helped me get to Ponyville in the first place,” I said to them, “By the way, thanks AJ.”

“It was nothing, sugarcube. The pleasure was on mah side.” She replied while smiling.

After they all introduced themselves to me, the door was slammed open like earlier.

“Hey lads- oh.” Electric Dazzle noticed the rest of the Mane 6 was here. Niko followed Electric Dazzle as they entered inside.

“Oh hey, you’re back! By the way, here are the others.” Twilight introduced the rest of the Mane 6.

“You didn’t really tell your name.” Twilight told Niko.

“Oh it’s Ni…” Niko attempted to say his real name but Electric stopped him.

“His name is Blaze Weeds!”

I chuckled a little bit more than I intended.

“What, that’s not my na..” Niko attempted to talk again but Electric Dazzle held his mouth shut this time.

“Shhhhhhh.”

The Mane 6 looked puzzled about the situation.

“Don’t worry, they’re always like this.” I assured them.

“Instead, we all should just introduce ourselves to each other.” I requested.

“Right, let’s get to it then. I’m Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia’s most faithful student.” Twilight introduced herself first.

“Name’s Applejack, or AJ for short. Nice to meet y’all.”

“I’m Rainbow Dash, the fastest pegasus in Equestria!” She boasted.

“I’m Pinkie Pie, and I looove parties, OH, and do you like cupcakes?! I hope so because I LOVE making them. I like making ALL KINDS of cupcakes. Cute ones, small ones, BIG ones, and I really love making pink ones,”

Pinkie went on like this for a few minutes. This gave me the opportunity to ask Electric Dazzle for a backstory.

“Dude, what’s our backstory going to be?” I asked Electric Dazzle quietly.

Electric thought for a second.

“We arrived from an unknown area in Equestria in search for a better life.” Electric Dazzle responded.

“Okay, nice.” well that’s totally helpful. I replied to Electric. After a few more minutes, Pinkie finally finished talking. I didn’t even get half of what she said.

“Are you finally done, dear? Well, I suppose it is my turn. I am Rarity. Not only do I make the most elegant clothes in Equestria, I am also a well known fashionista.” She finished while flicking her mane to her back.

“Uh… Um… I-I’m Fluttershy.” She said shyly. “That is all.”

“Alright, It seems like it’s our turn. I’m Electric Dazzle, and I’m a vegan.” Really, Daniel? How pathetic.

“I guess you guys already know my name but whatever. I’m Shock Wave and I’m nothing special.”

Niko sighed “I’m… Blaze Weeds.” Electric and Shock Wave snickered.

So, the day passed by as we all talked about ourselves. Pinkie seems to be the most eager to tell about herself. I seem to enjoy listening to their stories but I couldn’t tell about Daniel or Niko. They seem to enjoy themselves here and so do I. It seems like it’s going to be a very long journey from the way I see it.

Chapter 3: New Friends, New Opportunities

I woke up feeling very tired from yesterday’s activity with the Mane 6. It was great to get to know the gang more than just their names. At least I won’t make myself look like an idiot when talking to them. I realized Electric and I had slept on the on the floor whereas Blaze got to sleep on the bed.

“Lucky bastard.” I mumbled to myself. Electric snorted. I then kicked him in the shins.

“Owwww fuck!” He yelled in agony.

“Wake up, ya knobhead. We probably got a big day ahead of us,”

“Okay chill, sheesh. Can’t I just stay in for a few more minutes?” He replied. I looked at him with an annoyed face.

“Can you two shut up, I’m trying to sleep here!” Blaze said suddenly while shoving his face into the pillow.

I looked at him with an even more annoyed face and decided to use my magic to pick him up and throw him onto the floor.

“Ow man. What the hell?!” Blaze exclaimed.

“You got enough sleep, ya arse,” I said to Blaze.

“Since when did you learn to do that?” Electric laughed.

“Twilight taught me a few tricks last night,”

I stood up and went straight downstairs to probably help Twilight with something but to see no one at the main room. I went on to inspect the kitchen area and to see both Spike and Twilight making breakfast.

“Good morning, Shock. Are the others up yet?” Twilight asked me while she made oatmeal.

“Umm, yeah. They’re still in the room. They’ll come down soon enough I guess.” I replied.

“Good thing because I’m making breakfast right now.” Twilight stated.

“I’ll help you then.” I offered my help to Twilight.

[Electric Dazzle's POV]

I lied on my back again wondering what Twilight has in store for us today. Sure hope it’s something cool like going on some adventure or something but that might won’t happen. Knowing Twilight, she’ll probably send us on a book delivery trip again. I looked at the window opening wide.

“It probably wouldn’t hurt if I go out and try out my wings for a few minutes.”

I stood up and took a running start towards the window and jumped out. I flapped my wings hard and started to rise to the skies.

“WOAH, THIS IS AMAZING!” I shouted while having the best time of my life in the skies.

I looked down and started to shudder and instantly looked up.

“Nope. Never doing that again.” I must be like a hundred meters above ground.

I saw Cloudsdale in the sky and flew there. Rainbow Dash must be living here somewhere. I soon saw Rainbow Dash laying on a cloud.

“Hey Rainbow Dash,” I waved at her.

“I’m not giving any autographs, go away,” Rainbow Dash waved me off.

“But you’re not even that famous.” I put it bluntly.

Rainbow Dash glared at me and realized who I was. “Oh, it’s you.” her expression softened.

“So, what brings you here?” She said.

“Thought I’d check this place out, nothing much.” I shrugged. A crazy idea came up to my mind.

“Say this Rainbow Dash, are you up to a race?” I smirked.

“With who?” Her ears perked up.

“With me.” I said.

“You…” She burst out laughing. Now I feel like a dumbass. What a way to demoralize.

“Hey, I’m serious!” I raised my tone.

“Wait… I haven’t finished laughing my flank off!” She continued laughing. I rolled my eyes.

“Okay, okay.” She agreed as she wiped her tears of joy off her cheeks.

“You wanna race huh? Alrighty then. 2 laps around the track.” She said.

“Loser makes dinner for the Mane 6 and my friends.” I placed my bet on that.

“Deal.” Rainbow Dash said sternly.

We flew to the race track and then we took our positions.

“Three, two, one… GO!” Rainbow Dash shouted.

We dashed through the air as fast as we could, or so I thought. I looked at her and she was hardly doing her best. Damn she’s fast. I barely kept up with her. I tried gaining speed by flapping my wings harder, I got a little bit closer to her but she then left me in the dust. Finally, we reached the finish line.

“Hey, not bad! with enough practice you could become a challenge for me. But first, some nice dinner.” she said as she smirked.

Huh. She admired me. Nice. Although I gotta make freaking dinner. Fuck me.

“Thanks *pant* Dash,” I said.

I’m not very athletic. I slowly flew back to Twilight’s place with extreme sweat and panting.

[Shock Wave’s POV]

“Hmm, Electric’s taking a tad bit too long now, isn’t he?” I mumbled to myself.

“What was that?” Twilight asked me.

“Oh, nothing. I’m just gonna go check on the others.” I replied to her.

He probably knocked himself out or something. As I went up the stairs, I could hear some loud footsteps in the room. I wonder what they’re doing in there. As I opened the door, all I saw was a knocked out Blaze and Electric sweating a little bit.

“Have you been exercising or something? You’re sweating balls,” I asked Electric.

“Nah, I just feel a little bit hot. It’s nothing.” Electric assured me.

“Yeah, sure. Breakfast is done like 15 minutes ago. Go wake up Blaze and get your asses down there.” I said to both of them. Blaze probably didn’t even hear me.

I left the room and went back to the kitchen to go and have a little chat with Twilight. I could probably learn a few more magic spells from her. After talking with Twilight for a few minutes, Electric and Blaze finally came to the kitchen to have breakfast whilst Blaze looking still half asleep. We all had our breakfast and were ready for work.

“Oh, Twilight. Can you invite the Mane 6 to come by later today. I got an announcement.” Electric suddenly said.

“Sure thing, Electric. But you might want to think about the work you’re going to do today first.” Twilight replied. I just smiled a little bit.

~later on that day.

[Electric Dazzle's POV]

All the other Mane 6 arrived at The Golden Oak Library from a sudden invitation by Twilight.

“So what do you want with us today, darling?” asked Rarity as she and the others went in.

“I don’t really know actually. It was from Electric’s request.” Twilight replied.

“El Chapone here lost a bet so he’s going to be making dinner for all of us,” Rainbow Dash suddenly announced.

“Really? What kind of bet?” Shock asked.

“We had a little race earlier.” I added.

“Why did you even bother, you know you were never going to win.” Shock mocked me while grinning.

“Hey, atleast I did good,” I said.

I went into the kitchen to prepare something for the party. I had something good in mind whilst suddenly Shock came in and said:
“So, what are you gonna make? If you need any help, I got your back.” He offered his help.

“It’s okay. I got this” I assured him that I have everything under control.

15 minutes of making shit

Welp, I made a fruit salad. And I’m damn proud of it. Couldn’t come up with anything else.

“Dinner is served, come and dig in.” I announced.

Everyone took a plate and sat down in the living room.

“So, you two. Tell us more about yourselves.” Twilight requested.

“Oh. Well we came from the outskirts of Equestria.” I told them, wishing they’d buy it.

“Really? What’s it like there?” Twilight beamed with more questions.

“It’s pretty cold there. It was too much for us to handle so we decided to move here.” Shock answered.

“Wait a minute, where is Blaze?” Shock continued.

“Blaze has been sleeping all day, the hell?” I said and went upstairs.

I opened the door and threw him off the bed.

“Shit man what the hell. Screw you bro.” Blaze blurted.

“Stop sleeping so fucking much!”

“Profanity!” Shock said from downstairs.

“Calm your tits.” He eloquently said.

“Whatever, just come downstairs. There’s dinner.” I notified him.

I headed back downstairs. Everypony had their eyebrows raised at me.

“Blaze is just a heavy sleeper. It has always been like this.” I explained to everypony whilst Shock was just enjoying dinner.

“Enjoying yourself huh? what if i told you one of the key ingredients was alcohol.” I chortled.

“I am already dead inside. What makes you think I can’t enjoy alcohol.” Shock replied.

I shrugged. “Meh, fair enough.”

“By the way Twi, Celestia told me to tell you about her visit like, tomorrow I think?” I said to her.

“Wait, WHAT?!” She panicked.

“Woah, chill Twilight. It’s just the princess coming to visit. No biggie.” Shock tried to calm the lavender mare.

“You do not understand! I need to get the place in tip top shape! I need to make a good impression to the princess!” Twilight said as she started to clean the place up.

Everyone rolled their eyes.

“It’s okay Twilight, Electric and I will keep this place in tip top shape. Since the day is almost ending, you should just relax for awhile.” Shock reassured her.

“Yeah, you can count on us.” I promised Twilight that we will clean this place up by tomorrow.

“But…” Twilight tried to gain ground.

“No buts. We promise to keep this place clean.” I kept her aback.

“Fine.” She narrowed her eyes and sighed in defeat.

~The Next Day

I got up early this time with Shock to help Twilight with cleaning the library. The place was a total mess after last night’s dinner. This time I was the first one to get up this morning. Somepony give me a cookie. And Luna’s plot.

“The fuck you yapping about there,” Shock suddenly said.

“Oh shit did I say that out loud?” I thought.

“You think? Good thing Twilight ain’t here to listen to that,” Shock replied while making a smug face.

I shook my head and returned to cleaning the library. “Go wake up Blaze or something.”

“No point. It's not like he’s going to wake up,” Shock replied.

“Heh, flip the damn bed then.” I suggested while grinning.

“Dude, he’s like a dead person when he sleeps. Ain’t anything gonna wake him up.”

“Okay, fine then.” I got disappointed.

“Oh, you’re up this early?” Twilight came out from her room while rubbing her eyes.

“Yeah, like we promised, I cleaned up the place.” I said.

“WE, cleaned up the place.” Shock intruded

“Oh you didn’t do shit.” I exclaimed.

“Piss off. I helped too.” Shock said.

“Guys, enough with the crude language.” Twilight stepped in.

“Oh, sorry Twilight.”

“Yeah, me too.”

“Just don’t use those words around ponies.” Twilight lectured us like some elementary school kids.

“Jawohl, mein fraulein!” I saluted.

“What?” Twilight questioned.

“It’s just gibberish.” I chuckled.

“Well, whatever you say so.” Twilight went on with her business.

I looked over at Shock to see what he was doing. It seems like he was suspicious of something. I couldn’t really tell. He motioned me to come near him. I was first ignoring him but then he motioned harder. I walked up to him.

“What is it now?” I asked him.

“Shh, not so loud.” He said in a lower tone.

“What is it?”

“I think she is on to us.” Shock suggested.

“Pfft, you must be joking?” I did a foolish smirk.

“No, really. Trust me on this one. Remember when she said about using curse words?”

“Yeah, she said not to use it around other ponies.” I answered.

“No, she said not to use it ‘around ponies’. You getting me?” Shock said in his low tone.

“Uhh…” I looked dumbfounded.

Shock looked disappointed of my cooperation with his suggestment. He then proceeded to facehoof.

“First time I’m seeing you do that.” I chuckled.

“Ahh, fuck it. Just get back to work.” Shock said.

“Alright.” I raised my eyebrows.

After hours of cleaning the library and making sure everything was without a speck of dust. We took a short break and went out for some food. We decided we were going to eat at the cafe again since it was pretty cheap.

“Man, It feels good to be out of the library for once. I don’t even know when was the last time I left.” Shock said as we were walking towards the cafe.

“I know, right? Last time we were outside was like yesterday.” I tried to sound sarcastic.

“YOU, were out yesterday. I stayed home to help Twilight.” Shock replied while rethinking his life choices.

“Oh right. Damn, my memory is plain shitty.” I facehoofed.

We finally arrived at the cafe. But to our luck, it was filled with ponies.

“Man, this place is jam-packed. How are we supposed to eat and get back in time?” Shock asked.

“We fuckin’ bulldoze em.” I smiled evilly.

Nearby ponies looked at us because of my sudden cursing. We just smiled like nothing was wrong.

“You need to stop cursing outside, man. Peeps are gonna be suspicious about us.” Shock said.

“Shit, you’re right.” I realized how much of a dumbass I looked. Then I looked at him.

“Fuck you.” Shock said while grinning. We both laughed.

“Seems like we’re not going to get our food this way. Let’s just leave.” He suggested.

“Aight. Hey we should probably visit Stalliongrad if that exists or Manehattan.” Some cities popped up to mind.

“Yeah, maybe some other time. We got something to do right now and it’s getting food. I am freaking hungry.” Shock stated.

We wandered around for a while looking for a quite empty restaurant but it seems like we’re not gonna get anything out of our walking. Whilst we were still walking and looking for a restaurant, we saw Pinkie jumping around happily. Our last hope is Pinkie since we were kinda late already.

“Hey Pinkie!” Shock greeted Pinkie.

“Oh, hey guys! I am still planning the party. So, just wait a few more days.” Pinkie said happily.

“A party? For what?” I asked.
“What?! Shock, Don’t tell me you didn...” Shock covered Pinkie’s mouth as she was about to say something

“Oh it’s just a… a birthday party. Yeah, a birthday party, for some other pony.” Shock said to me.

“Oh, okay.”

Then Shock and Pinkie turned around and whispered something I did not quite catch.

Pinkie nodded happily at the idea.

“Hey, what are you guys whispering about?” I asked Shock and Pinkie.

“Oh, nothing. Anyways, Pinkie. Do you know where we can get some food? We’re starving right now,”

“Sure! I work at a bakery. We can get some food there! Follow me!”

We followed her to a bakery called Sugarcube Corner. I always wanted to try some of the food here.

“Come on in. I can get you something.” Pinkie said to us. “I can get you anything you want but only this time.”

“Anything?” Shock asked as his face filled with happiness.

“Well let’s get choosing then.” I said.

Moments passed by as we looked at every single baked goods in the store. I am pretty sure we’ll be spending more time looking for the right food than eating it. After a while, Shock just picked simple foods such as muffins and single slices of different types of cake.

“Dang, Pinkie. I can’t say thank you enough for all of the food. I’ll be in your debt.” Shock said to Pinkie as he thanked her.

“It’s nothing. But why didn’t Electric pick anything? He’ll STARVE to death!” Pinkie asked.

“I’m not feeling like it right now. Thanks anyway,” I smiled.

“Speaking of which, you really packed up, Shock.” I raised my eyebrow at him.

“Hey, man. Your loss. This stuff tastes awesome.” Shock replied with a belly full of delicious food.

“You lard ass.” I chuckled at him.

“Piss off,” Shock replied while grinning, “Let’s go home. It’s already late.”

“Yeah sure.”

After walking for awhile, we finally returned to the library. When we were about to open the door, we heard some voices inside. We leaned towards the door and attempted to eavesdropped what was going on inside. I suggested using the window but Shock said it would be a bad idea since they could probably see us spying on what was inside.

Chapter 4: Be what you need to be.

[Shock Wave’s POV]

While we were eavesdropping, the door was suddenly glowing with a purple coloured glow and it opened. We were surprised to see the princess had arrived already. We both bowed down to her and entered the library.

“Ah, it’s good to finally see you in person, Shock Wave.” Princess Celestia said to me.

“It’s great to see you too, Princess. And how did you know my name?” I asked the princess.

“I know a lot more than you know yourself.” She answered.

“So, I hope we got the place looking spic and span enough for you.” Electric said to the princess.

“Oh, I am not here to just simply look around to see how things are going. I actually want to have a few words with you two.” the princess said to us.

“Did we do something wrong?” I asked the princess before looking at Twilight to see if she has anything to say. She stood near the princess only observing us converse with Princess Celestia.

“Oh, no. You didn’t do anything wrong!” She blushed a little bit. Twilight seemed suspicious about how the princess looked.

“I just want to say, Welcome to Equestria. I know you and your friend here are new.” The princess welcomed us.

“Now, I would like to tell you something else. You may have been doing this already but please do not expose who you really are to the ponies.” Princess Celestia said to us.

“Oh, so you’re saying that you already knew?” I asked the princess.

“I already knew you were going to come here long before you would’ve even thought about it” She answered.

“Of course you would, princess.” Electric said while smirking.

“Anyway, why can’t we reveal ourselves?” I asked Princess Celestia again.

“Let’s just say that it’s better to keep quiet about such topics. But you may reveal yourselves to your close friends here in Equestria since you can trust them.” She answered again.

“Okay, but what if I don’t want to?” I asked her.

“Your choice.” She said.

“Wait, what do you mean, princess?” Twilight suddenly asked the princess. “Shock and Electric both look like normal ponies to me.”

“There are a different species from a different universe called ‘Humans’. Ponies here don’t really know what they are, only a few do and they believe it’s better to keep it quiet.” Princess Celestia answered Twilight’s question.

“Oh. Wait, how is that even possible?” Twilight was astounded.

“Well it seems so that the multiverse theory would be correct,”

“If there is nothing else to discuss about, I should be leaving now. I have a lot of work to do,” The princess said to us.

“Alright princess. It was nice to meet you. I’m pretty sure many ponies don’t get this opportunity to meet Princess Celestia in person.” I said to the princess.

“Oh wait, princess, I have something to ask you!” Electric suddenly sounded out.

“What is it, Electric?” asked Celestia.

“This may sound a bit foolish but can we please have our own house?” Electric said.

“Hmm, maybe. I’ll need to ask my steward.” The princess said to Electric.

“Sweet.” Electric said while grinning.

“I suppose I’ll have to go now. I hope to see both of you again some other time.” The princess said as she walked outside and entered her chariot.

“Goodbye, Princess Celestia!” Twilight said as she waved.

It was an eventful evening. We continued to work at the library like normal times. As time goes by I wonder what would happen if I reveal myself to other ponies. Princess Celestia said that would be a bad idea but that was very vague for such an important topic.

I looked out the window and realized that we have been working till night. Time sure does pass by when you’re not paying attention. As we were cleaning up, the library went quiet for a moment until we heard knocking on the door. It turns out it was Spike who had returned from a few errands.

“Hey, Spike.” I greeted him.

“Oh, hey Shock.” Spike said as he entered.

Spike continued in and asked, “What have you guys been doing?”

“Oh, nothing. Just doing our jobs of course.” Twilight said to Spike.

Twilight sat down and started to read a book. I couldn’t really tell what book it was.

“Alright, I’m gonna hit the bed, today’s been rough.” Spike headed upstairs.

“Yo Shock.” Electric said.

“Hey, Electric. What do you need?” I asked him.

“Just call me L. Anyway, since you’re an unicorn, could you maybe…” He paused while smirking.

“Bring some weed here?”

“Maybe. I need to learn a few spells before I can do something like that.” I said.

“Okay. Seems like life here is going pretty well for us.” said Electric as he hopped on a couch.

“Yup,” I replied, “Man, is Blaze literally dead or something? He hasn’t even woken up yet.”

“I don’t know, he’s been lazy as hell since he has arrived here.” Electric shrugged.

“I’m gonna go check on him.” I said to Electric.

I walked up the stairs and went straight towards the room we were sharing. As I opened the door I couldn’t see Blaze anywhere. I found a note on the bed. I tried to read it but it seems it was in a different language.

“Hey L! Can you come up here for a minute?” I called Electric up to the room.

He came upstairs and arrived into the room.

“What’s up?” He asked.

“You know what this note says?” I passed the note to him.

Suddenly his eyes widened. “Oh shit!” he was alarmed.

“What is it?!” I asked him in panic too.

“He’s trying to kill himself! Quick, We gotta look for him!” he said as he headed downstairs in a hurry.

“Oh crap.” I followed him downstairs and continued outside.

“Wait! Where are you guys going?” Twilight asked us as we ran outside.

“No time to explain!” We dashed past her.

“Hmm, I hope everything is okay.” Twilight pondered.

As we ran out, I asked “Where the hell are we going actually?”

“The Everfree Forest!” He shouted.

Ah, damn. Why did it had to be that place. It’s very unsettling to stay there but I still had to go to look for Blaze. As we ran for a few minutes, we finally reach The Everfree Forest. We entered it in a hurry and started to call out for Niko.

“Niko!” Electric yelled out.

“Guys! I’m over here, help!” We heard him at a distance. We rushed to the source of his voice

We saw him half covered in what looks to be stone. He was looking at a weird mutant chicken.

Instantly, Electric kicked the chicken into oblivion and it disappeared into the forest.

“Damn, nice kick.” I complimented his strength.

“Thanks, guys.” Niko said as he panted.

“What the hell were you thinking?!” Electric exclaimed.

“I just don’t know. I fucking hate being here. I’m sorry. I-I… I just want to go home.”

Electric sighed “You know that’s not possible. You’re dead back home.”

“I know…” Blaze said, “You guys seem to fit in so easily. People here never bothered about me, it’s always about you and Shock.”

“We can work this out, okay?” I said to Blaze.

“There is no point.” Blaze said while a tear came out of his eye; “I am not made for this type of world. I just don’t fit in.”

“Maybe there is a way...” Electric thought for a moment.

“What is it?” I asked Electric.

“Shock, transport us back to Twilight.” L said to me.

“Alright, but I haven’t tried this spell much, so just bear with me.” I said to him.

I concentrated and suddenly a bright light came out of my horn and flashed us all. As our sights recovered, we were in the library while Twilight was surprised to see me used the magic spell.

“Wow, I only taught you that one a few days ago. Great job, Shock.” She complimented my abilities.

“Yeah, that’s great and all but we need your help, Twilight.” Electric said to Twilight.

“What is it? And why is Blaze crying? And why is he part stone? Did you guys get attacked by a cockatrice or something?” She asked Electric.

“It’s a long story. Can you fix him up?” He asked.

“Sure, albeit it’ll take awhile.” She started to heal him.

“We need to do something about Niko.” I said to Electric.

“We’ll figure things out.” He assured me.

“I hope so.” I said as I looked at Twilight performing some spells on Blaze.

“I’m gonna go sleep. I am tired as hell. See you tomorrow.” I said to Electric as I walked up the stairs.

“Yeah, sure.”

I got into bed thinking of ways to help Blaze. Maybe there is no hope for him. But I shouldn’t talk like that. It might become karma, I closed my eyes hoping for a better morning.

~The next morning.

I woke up feeling rested but a little light headed about last night’s surprise. I looked around to only see Electric sleeping on the floor. I tried to look for Blaze but failed. I started to panic thinking that he ran away again. I quickly woke up Electric to tell him about Blaze’s disappearance.

“Dude, wake up. I think Niko is gone again!” I said to him while shaking his body heavily.

“What? Oh you’re just imagining things…” Electric said while still half asleep.

I smacked his face with my hoof to wake him up instantly.

“Ow, what the fuck was that for?” He asks me as he was rubbing his face.

“I think Niko is gone again!” I said to him again.

“What? What are you talking about? Oh, right. You went to bed early last night.” He said to me.

“What happened?” I asked Electric.

“Well, NIko wanted to live where it’s like back home. So I suggested he lived in Manehattan. So we got him a train ticket there and a small apartment.” Electric said as he was scratching his head.

“Where’d you get money to get him an apartment?” I asked him because we can’t afford an apartment.

“Well, Twilight knows a guy.” He replied with a sleepy voice.

“Oh. So he’s gone now?” I asked him with curiosity still stuck in my head.

“Yeah, he left last night after Twilight finished healing him.” Electric said to me with eyes.

“You think he’s going to be happy there?”

“I think so. Manehattan is pretty much like Earth cities.” He said to me.

“Maybe, I can’t say. I’ve never been there before,” I said to him, “Well, I’m gonna go get breakfast.”

“Yeah, sure.” Electric said to me as he laid back down.

I shook my head as I exited the room to get to the kitchen. I walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen but to see no one inside. I felt happy to be left alone for a moment just to give myself some thought.

“I shouldn’t be thinking too much about this. I’m sure Niko is happier there.” I assured myself.

I went to get some bread, jam and peanut butter to make a PB&J sandwich. I opened a cabinet and to my luck, all the things I needed were there. I took the ingredients with my magic and made the sandwich. The smell that came from the sandwich was mesmerizing.

“Dang, hope this thing tastes as good as it smells.” I said to myself with high hopes for the sandwich.

Suddenly, Twilight came into the kitchen and startled me. As a result, I dropped my sandwich onto the floor face down. I was the most disappointed in my whole entire life. I slowly turned to Twilight and looked at her with my disappointment.

“Oh, I am so sorry about that, Shock. I’ll make it up for you. I’ll prepare my best breakfast dish.”

She tried to make up for her actions but even she knows that it’s too late now. My heart was already broken into a million pieces.I sat down at the table with full disappointment in my face. After awhile, Twilight placed a dish onto the table.

“There you go. I used a secret recipe the princess told me.”

Twilight said to me as she sat at the other side of the table. She waited for me to eat the food. It kinda looked like mashed potatoes but I couldn’t really tell for sure. I picked up the spoon with my magic and took a bite. My eyes widened as my tastebuds were showered with glorious flavour. The flavours reminded me of my sweet childhood with my mom and dad back at the farm. A drop of tear came down my eyes as I cherished the memories.

“Shock, are you okay?” She asked me.

“Th.. Thank you, Twilight,” I said to her, “Thank you for this wonderful dish.”

The dish made me feel like a little child again. A little child in the wrapped arms of their parents. I finished the dish savouring every single bite of it.

“No problem. It’s the least I can do.” She said to me.”But why are you crying?”

“It’s hard to explain,” I replied to her. ”Let’s just say that this dish is very amazing.”

“Thank you, Shock. Though it is the princess’ recipe.” She said to me.

“Tell her it’s wonderful.” I asked Twilight to thank the princess for such a wonderful recipe.

“Will do if given the opportunity.” She said as she stood up, “I’m going to go do some chores.”

“I’ll help in a minute. I just need some time to relax.”

I sat back and remembered my childhood. The nostalgia was killing me. After a while, I stood up and went to help Twilight with her work. As soon as I exited the kitchen, Electric came down the stairs while scratching the back of his head.

“Hey man, did anypony made breakfast?” Electric asked me, “I’m kinda starving.”

“There’s some bread and jam. Go make a sandwich or something.” I said to him.

“Fine.” Electric said as he entered the kitchen.

I shook my head while smiling and continued to help Twilight. Maybe I should take a break or find a new job. Not that I hate it here, It’s just that I want a little bit more adventure in my life. Maybe someday.

Chapter 5 : Bad Apples

A few hours have passed by since breakfast and I was already bored. I turned over to Twilight who was still studying something. I thought about talking to her but I felt like I don’t have anything to talk about. I then turned to Electric, who was as bored as I am, turning a few pages on a book about flying. I observed him but to no points at all. I then zoned out on the sofa, thinking about how to put some excitement into my life.

“Hey guys, what are you all doing?” Spike asked as he came down to the library.

Electric just shrugged at Spike while still looking at the book. “Nothing interesting, just bored as hell.”

Twilight soon said something about studying. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t payed attention to what Spike said earlier. Suddenly, I saw a purple hand waving right in front of me. I startled and accidentally hit Spike right on the head.

“Woah, Lil’ buddy, you okay?” I asked him.

“Yeah, just a little hit. I can take more you know.” He said while rubbing his head and trying to get up at the same time.
I helped him up and dusted off some dust on his back. Twilight didn’t say anything or even looked. Must be something important she is studying. I patted Spike’s back and walked towards Twilight. I tapped her back but she didn’t move. I was afraid something happened to Twilight so I tapped harder and called her name.

“Hmm, what? Oh, Shock. What did you need?” She asked me after shaking her head a little bit.

“Just checking in. You seemed so into that book I almost thought you were dead. What is it about?” I asked her.

“Well, this is just some of my reports for the princess.” She said while compiling some data on a piece of paper.

“Must be some important reports you’re making that you didn’t even realise the princess herself came.” I tried to joke with Twilight.

“Wait WHAT?! Oh no, this can’t be!” Twilight panicked and started to write a letter for the princess.

“Woah, chill, Twilight. I’m just joking around.” I said to her while grinning. “But Spike did get hurt. By me. Only a little. Before you say anything, it was an accident.”

“Don’t mess around with me like that. Is Spike okay?” She sighed and then asked about Spike.

“He’s fine. He is a dragon after all. They’re quite strong, aren’t they?” I told her while we both looked at Spike.

“I guess so. But try not to injure anyone, could be fatal.” She suggested to me.

“I’ll try. But I’m afraid I just can’t hold back my hooves.” I explained to her whilst chuckling a little bit.

“Alrighty, then. Oh, I just remembered, I need some food supplies from Applejack. Can you and Electric go and get them?” She remembered about the food supply running low.

“Sure. We are working for you. So, I guess we HAVE to do everything you say.” I said to her while smiling.

“Right, I keep forgetting that.” She said while shaking her head a bit.

I went to Electric to tell him about the food supplies but it seems like his ears were sharper than I thought.

“You ready?” Electric asked me after putting down the book.

“Ooh, you eavesdropping or something?” I asked him while raising an eyebrow.

“It’s not that difficult if you and Twilight were only a few feets from me. Ponies have a better sense of hearing than humans.”

I chuckled a bit and continued, “Okay, fine. Well, you ready yet?”

“Yeah, sure. Let’s get to it.” He said as he put the book down and stood up.

We went outside and trotted towards the direction of Sweet Apple Acres. After awhile, we could finally see the apple trees which meant we were close. But there were something off about the apples. They look a bit blue-ish to me.

“Hey, L. Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” I asked him just to make sure I wasn’t colour blind.

“What do you mean?” He said to me while observing the apple trees.

“The apples look kinda blue to me.”

“No, I don’t see anything abnormal about them.”

As we make haste to the farm, the apples got bluer and bluer.

“Okay, I must be trippin’ balls right now, they’re really fucking blue.”

“Did you consume drugs or something?” Electric asked me in a worrying tone.

“I never did drugs, so it’s probably not that.” I sighed.

“Hmm, or you could’ve been drugged.”

What is he talking about, that’s ridiculous, Unless Twilight decided to drug me with that dish, which I doubt she would really do such a thing.

Suddenly, I saw a bird coming straight for me. As an instinct, I jumped aside to dodge the bird.

“Hey, why did you do that for?” Electric questioned my actions.

“A bird almost hit me, man. You didn’t see it?”

“Dude, you’re seriously tripping. We need to get you checked at a hospital later.”

“Why not ask Twilight?”

“Does she look like a doctor to you?”

“Well, she was the one who made the dish.”

“Whatever.” Electric rolled his eyes.

After some walking, we finally arrived at the barn.

I had trouble keeping my eyes open, and I started having a coughing fit.

“Dude, you alright?” Electric asked me.

“It’s… nothin-” I lost my steps and couldn’t hold myself together.

“Huh?”

*thud*

“Oh shit!”

[Electric’s POV]

Later, in the ponyville horsepital

“I’m afraid he’s dead.” Nurse Redheart frowned.

My mouth hung open and I facehoofed. Just like that? What the fuck!

I sighed.

“Welp, I guess that’s it. We had a good time, I just wish it didn’t end like this.”

…

Shock Wave suddenly rose up, startling me, gasping for air. He coughed a few times after that.

“Damn, you sound gay.” Shock chuckled, “I always thought you were gay.”

My eyes widened. “Oh you fuckhead!”

“That’s impossible, he had no pulse!” The nurse was surprised.

“I guess you could say… I shocked ya?” He winked.

“Just, shut up.” I said, annoyed.

Are we in a sitcom or something?

“Eh, let's go home, I’m tired for some reason.” I said.

“Wait up,” Shock pulled the sheets off of him and jumped off the hospital bed.

“Hey, wait! you can’t go yet!” Redheart cried out.

“Why not?” Shock turned to her.

“You need to be examined upon further for any other issues.” She answered.

“I just came back from the dead, I don’t need no examinations. Besides, I’m running late.”

“That’s exactly why you need to be examined.” She said sternly.

“Hmm, okay, fine.” Shock said.

“Then come here and we shall get started.”

I didn’t hear anything after that because I was still walking, not paying attention to Shock’s antics.

“I AM FINE THANK YOU VERY MUCH GOTTA GO!” Shock shouted as he tried to catch up to me.

“Oh, didn’t even notice you here, what was that?” I said as I started to trot to keep up with Shock’s speed.

“L, FUCKING RUN!” He shouted as he ran past me.

I looked back to see a few nurses trying to catch Shock. I quickly joined him on his escape.

“Dude, the fuck did you do now?!” I asked him as I caught up to him.

“Just run! I’ll explain later!”

We finally got to the exit and the mob of nurses stopped pursuing us. We still galloped at full speed to Twilight’s place. Finally, we stopped to take a breath.

“So, will you explain… what just happened back there?” I said while panting.

“Oh, she tried to stick a needle up my ass. I hate needles, man.”

I facehoofed. My humanity slowly crept away the more I use that word.

“Whatever, let’s just get back to the library and chill.” Shock said as he starts to walk towards the direction of the library.

“Sure thing.”

We took off and headed to the library.

After arriving at the library

“Oh, you’re finally back. Did you bring those supplies I told you about?” Twilight asked.

“Uhh, nope.” I said.

“What? Then what did you do this whole time?”

“Well, long story short, Shock got into an acid trip and passed out. Then we had to run away from a gang of needle sticking nurses, and now we’re here.”

“Wha? Acid trip? How can you trip over acid?” said Spike.

“Not that kind of acid, it’s… basically hallucinogenic drugs.” I explained simply to Spike.

“Oh!” Twilight gazed upon the abyss that is Shock’s abysmal face.

“Twi, you’re freaking me out. What are you doing?”

“Just making sure. Are you still hallucinating?” She asked while inspecting Shock’s irises.

“No, I don’t think so...”

“Heh, one time he jumped out of the way of an invisible bird.” I commented.

“But it looked so real…” He said drowsily and started falling.

“I guess that does it, he won’t be waking up soon.” I said as I was poking at Shock’s body.

“Huh, how did he even manage to be drugged?” Twilight pondered.

“Well, the only suspect would be you.”

“What!? I wouldn’t do anything like that!” She was daunted.

“Hmm… you may be right. It’s probably Spike.” I put a hoof on my chin.

“Whoa dude, why would I do that? It’s not like I have anything against him.”

“You have got to be kidding? Spike wouldn’t do such things.” The lavender mare stepped in to defend Spike.

“Ok, fine. Who is to blame then?”

“We can’t just blame anypony. We’ll need to find the source of this problem.” said Twilight.

“Okay then. Lead on, Sherlock.” I waved my hoof around sarcastically.

Suddenly, Shock rose up and stood silently. We all looked at him wondering what he was going to do.

“Can you guys be a lil’ bit more quiet. Trying to sleep here.” Shock said while his eyes were barely open.

“Pfft, no. You’re not giving up on us now.” I tried to slap him in the face but he evaded flawlessly. Shock then continued up the stairs straight towards the room.

“What am I going to do with you two?” Twilight sighed and followed Shock upstairs. I shrugged and did the same.

Thus, the day ended without anything completed. We failed to get food and we failed to help Shock, we haven’t done anything productive on that day. If Twilight was me she’d be quite angry about this but I could care less.

[Shock’s POV]

I woke up feeling well rested. The rising sun was blinding my eyes but it was such a beautiful sight to see. I rubbed my eyes and stood up from the bed, feeling a little bit light headed. I shook my head a few times to regain conscious. I soon realized I almost stepped on Electric’s hoof, who was sleeping on the floor.

“Heh, we need another bed.” I moved past him and went straight downstairs.

Once downstairs, it came to my attention that no one was up yet. I thought to myself that it was probably still early. I went to the kitchen to gather up some ingredients to prepare breakfast. I opened the cupboard that held most of the ingredients I needed but to my surprise, it was empty. I then opened the other cupboards but to no avail.

“Hmm, weird. I thought we still had plenty of food around.” I sighed and went to the main room to relax for a moment.

I looked at the door, thinking, maybe I should eat breakfast outside. In my mind, nothing could go wrong. It’ll just be a quick walk to the cafe for a few pancakes and whatnots. I grabbed some gold bits in the room and went outside, feeling the warm sun on my skin.

It sure is nice and quiet early in the morning. I thought to myself as I walked around the streets of Ponyville.

I walked around slowly as I had all the time in the world at the moment. No rush. Though I had a feeling right in my stomach that something bad was going to happen. Everything just seems so quiet, so nice that it couldn’t be real. I wondered, was I dreaming? As soon as I felt that feeling, I start to notice other ponies, setting up shops, watering their flowers and such.

“I gotta think straight. Can’t let imaginations take over me.” I said before I bumped into another pony.

I accidently knocked a pale lime green unicorn and her stuff down. I quickly helped her up and picked up her stuff.

“I am so sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going.” I apologized to her while looking at what she was carrying. It seemed like big rolls of paper but I couldn’t confirm.

“Oh, it’s okay. It’s my fault too. I’m not wearing my glasses right now.” She said as she swept some dust off her clothes.

“You sure you can see well? I can help you carry those, if you need it.” I offered my help as compensation.

“Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, what’s your name? I don’t recall seeing any new ponies in town.” She asked me as I held some of the rolls for her.

“The name’s Shock Wave, but you can just call me Shock.” I said to her as I followed her.

“Shock Wave? That’s a nice name. Mine is Peachy Pitt but you can call me Peachy.” She said as we arrived at a nearby stall.

It was a wooden stall with some barrels beside it. Looked just like any other stall around the area.

“So, this is yours then?” I asked her about the stall as I put the rolls of paper into the barrels.

“Yeah. Had it for a few months already. Works well enough.” Peachy said as she went behind the stall.

“Well, I guess I’ll see you later then. I’m gonna go find some breakfast.” I said as I looked around for a cafe.

“Oh, I know a nice little place that sells good food. It’s around the town hall.” She then proceeded to tell me the directions to get there.

“Never been there before. I hope It’s as good as you say.” I said to Peachy with high hopes.

“You have my word. Hey, you should take me there sometimes.” She said while blushing a little bit.

“Heh, when I have the time, I will.” I promised her.

“Promise?” She asked me while making puppy eyes.

“Yes, I promise.” I said as I couldn’t resist the puppy eyes.

I talked with her for a few more minutes. Incredibly, in the span of those few minutes, I could fall in love. The way she talks. The way she looks. To me, it was perfect. I looked her right in the eyes, as she did to mine. I know that there was a special connection between us from the first time we met.

“Well, I should get going. I still need to get back to the library.” I told Peachy.

“Oh, so soon? Well, okay. See you tomorrow.” She told me as I waved goodbye.

I then continued my morning journey for breakfast, before I heard a pony suddenly calling my name. I looked around to see who it was but I didn’t saw anypony calling me. Until I looked at the sky and noticed that it was actually Rainbow Dash, who then landed beside me.

“About time I found your flank, Twilight and Electric are all over the place looking for you!” She said worriedly.

“Seriously? Look, I’m not a little colt. I can leave the library anytime I want.” I said to her while still walking.

“I don’t think you understand. You’re in danger.” She stepped in front of me to hold me back.

“In danger of what? Scraping my hoof?” I scoffed at her and walked past her.

“Ugh, no. It’s just that... “ She seems as if she was having a hard time to say something.

“What? What could be so important that they needed you to come look for me?” I asked with a hint of annoyance in my tone and continued walking.

“You’re… dying.” The light blue pegasus said.

I stopped.

I was in a state of multiple emotions, combining to become this feeling. A feeling I couldn’t explain. Was it fear? Was it sadness? My mind was dull.

“Twilight found out what was making you pass out so much, and it’s not what she has expected,”

“This is why I need to get you to Twilight’s, pronto.” She stomped her hoof against the ground.

“But… I don’t remember passing out.” Now I was getting worried.

“There’s no time to explain, let’s just go.” She dashed off.

“Okay.” Sighing, I turned to her and galloped towards the library, hoping for the best.

Gone

Chapter 6 : Gone

I galloped full speed towards the library, with Dash just ahead of me. Passing buildings by buildings, with the thoughts of losing them as my home. As I galloped, I caught something at the edge of my eyes. Peachy. I promised to take her to dinner, and I am a man, or a stallion, who keeps his promises. So I wasn’t going to change that. I stopped and turned towards her. Rainbow Dash noticed me going another way.

“Hey! Where are you going?” The light blue pegasus asked me from the skies.

“I got something to do. You go on ahead.” I told her.

“What!? We don’t have much time, Let’s go!”

I thought for a moment, contemplating whether to go to Peachy, or go towards the library. One had my life on the line, and the other, the person I care for. I froze, thinking too hard. I decided to go to the person I care for. Even if I die, I’ll die knowing all of my friends know that I care for them.

I galloped towards Peachy’s stall. As I got closer, I started to lose conscious. Things were starting to get blurry. I tried to shout for her, but as soon I tried to, I collapsed. The last thing I saw, was Peachy running towards me. It was too blurry to make out, and soon after, things got dark.

[Electric’s POV]

“Damn it. Where could’ve he gone to?” I asked in frustration while walking back and forth.

The treehouse felt dark for some reason. As if it lost its joy and happiness. By this moment, Twilight is scared. Scared for her friend. It wasn’t difficult to make it out. She tried researching everything she could for a cure. Spike had already sent a letter to Princess Celestia as a notification of the current situation. She will come shortly, in an attempt to help us. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

“I’ll go get it.” Spike announced as he walked towards the door. When he opened it, the doorframe revealed Rainbow Dash standing in front of it, looking quite sad.

“Oh, hey Dash. What happened? Did you find him?” Spike asked.

Rainbow sighed, and entered the library. “Yeah, I did.”

“Well, where is he?” I asked worryingly.

“He is in the hospital, in a coma. The doctors said they couldn’t find any source of it.”

“We have to get there. Round up the others, we’ll meet at the hospital.” Twilight ordered.

“Alright, I’m on it!” The light blue pegasus dashed through the door.

“Let’s move, Electric.”

After walking for what felt like hours, but didn’t actually take that long, we have finally arrived.
We then saw five other characters in front of the building, waiting for us. Once closer, it was the rest of the gang.

“Ya sure took your time walking here, Twi.” Applejack sarcastically remarked.

Twilight raised an eyebrow at this. “But we didn’t take that long to come here?”

“Guys, our friend is dying and you’re acting like a bundle of sticks.” I voiced in.

“What does that even mean?” Dash mumbled.

“Nevermind, why aren’t we inside yet?” I asked.

“We were waiting for y’all first.” Applejack answered, “Since we’re all here, then ah suppose we should go inside now.”

We hurriedly walked into the big building, wondering about Shock’s condition. We stepped closer to the reception.

“Hey, do you know where a pony called Shock Wave is?” I asked the receptionist.

“Oh, let me check…” She scrambled what seemed to be a log. “Ah, it’s on the third floor, 10th room.”

“Thanks.” I said before going straight towards the stairs with the gang following me.

I walked up the stairs, which seemed more like climbing. It’s way more tasking to do it as an alien equinoid rather than as a human. By the third floor I was exhausted, but I had to keep on going for my best friend.

“Jeez, L. It’s like you’ve never tried stairs before!” Rainbow Dash said.

I sighed and ignored her. Give me a break, I wasn’t a pony up until like three days ago.

As we walked down the hallway, we counted the numbers on the door of each room. Looking for the right one. As we reached near the end of the hallway, the door was then bestowed upon us.

“This is the one, right?” I looked at the group and they nodded in response.

I pushed the door and walked inside, revealing Shock Wave to my sight, with another pony by his side.

“Wow, Shock. You look like hammered shit.” I said. The other pony had a disgusted look on her face when I said that.

“And who are you?” The light lime mare asked me.

“I should be the one asking that.” I rolled my eyes.

“Well, I asked first.” She said, keeping her ground.

“Fiiine. I’m Electric Dazzle, Shock’s best friend.”

“Oh, really?” She asked, still not convinced.

I sighed. “Yes, really.”

“In fact, we all are.” Twilight intruded.

The lime mare’s eyes widened.

“I suppose you’re speaking the truth,” She gulped, “I’m Peachy Pitt. I met Shock Wave earlier this morning and we just kind of, got along really well, you know?”

I raised my eyebrow. “Huh. I didn’t know Shock already got a special someone?”

Peachy blushed a little bit. Everypony then surrounded Shock. I looked over to Twilight to see if she was bothered about Shock having a significant other. However, she doesn’t seem to care at all. Soon after, there was a knock on the door, and a male pony with a white coat entered inside the room.

“Whoa, this room is packed.” He said.

“You think?” I asked. “Don’t answer that. Rhetorical question.”

“Don’t worry, I am not stupid. I am the doctor after all.” He said to me as he walked near the bed Shock was laying on. He then proceeded to sigh, “We can’t seem to find the reason he is in a coma.”

We were all saddened by the disthroughting news.

Actually, didn’t Twilight already found a cure for Shock?

“Hey, Twi. Didn’t you found the cure for Shock’s problem?” I asked her, wondering if she had forgotten about it.

“Well, I thought I did, But… turns out it’s something more serious.” She answered. “And I am afraid it’s..”

Before she could finish, her sentence was completed by someone totally different.

“Incurable.” Said the voice.

We all turned around, and to our surprise, it was Princess Celestia. The others had bowed down to her and I awkwardly followed.

“You may rise.” The Princess ordered us all.

“And you didn’t have to do it, Electric.” She continued while giving a small smile.

“Oh, it’s okay.” I said to her as I rose up, “I am more concerned about Shock.”

“Of course. But I am afraid there is not much that we can do about it.” She told all of us, with her slight smile turning into a slight frown.

Once the princess announced that, everypony had lost all hope for Shock. Except for Peachy. Seems like she just couldn’t accept the fact that she just lost a close friend she met only a few moments ago.

“No, there must be a way. There has to be a way to cure him.” She said as her eyes started to tear up.

Rainbow Dash started to comfort Peachy. I didn’t know what to feel, so I stood there, with blank eyes.

How did this happen? And why? We just wanted to live our dreams, but it seems, only reality exists.

Suddenly, time stopped. Everything froze, except for me, but I might as well be frozen, since I stood so still.

“How devastating.” A voice boomed.

“Is it?” I said, while hanging my head just to see that I was standing on nothingness.

The voice did not respond.

“He was my best friend, and the only friend that I had when I died,” I continued.

“And now I’m losing him, yet again.” I sighed.

After a moment, I raised my head to look at my surroundings. I found what must be the source of the voice. A bipedal. I walked closer to it and realized it looked like a normal human, but with pure white skin, a suit, and a long beard that was darker than darkness itself.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“The Rapture.” It simply answered.

My eyes have widened slightly. “Wait, you again. W-where am I?”

“To simply put it, you’re in heaven.”

“Why? I’m not dead!” I shouted at him.

“I’m just giving you one last chance, to say goodbye.” He explained as he spawned Shock’s body in front of me.

Shock rose up, rubbing his eyes as if he had only slept the night. I ran towards him to give him a manly hug.

“Woah, chill, I ain’t dead yet.” Shock said with a sleepy voice, “Wait, where are we?”

I almost broke into tears.

“Hey, what’s up?” He got concerned.

I stopped hugging him. I felt like saying something, but I was at loss for words.

“What are you doing? You wanna say something? If so, say it later. We gotta find a way out of this place.”
He started walking around the nothingness that we were surrounded by.

“It’s not that…” I frowned.

“How the fuck do we get out of here?” He grunted as he looked around the area.

“Dude, stop.”

“Where the hell are we?!” He asked once again, angrily.

“YOU’RE DEAD!” I yelled.

He stopped right in his tracks. He looked astonished. But then he closed his eyes and scoffed.

“Yeah, great joke. Ten out of ten.” He kept on looking around for an exit.

“It’s not a joke, you arrogant fuckhead! And there is nothing we can do about it, and that’s final!”

“Sure, keep telling yourself that.” He was getting a bit frustrated.

“He’s right, you know?” The Rapture told Shock.

“Huh, and who might you be?” He asked the pale white figure.

“You have already met me at the time of your first death.” He answered with a smirk.

“Wait, you’re saying, you’re that guy? The.. Rapture?” Shock asked as he had a flashback.

He had finally noticed the blinding truth, that he was dead. And there was no going back now. His fate is now in somebody else’s hand. He believed that he had not done enough in the world that he was in previously. He was afraid that he would end up in hell, or something along those lines.

“I disagree with your thoughts. This isn’t what you would call hell, as it’s just an empty void of nothingness.”

“Then what am I supposed to do here?” Shock inquired.

“Your soul will just stay here, as it waits for the day the world to end.” The Rapture answered.

Mine and Shock’s jaw dropped, resulting for the demigod to chuckle.

“Then what happens?” I asked The Rapture as I was worried for my friend.

“Nothing, really.” He shrugged and pulled out a pack of cuban cigars and lit one in his mouth.

At this, I raised my eyebrow. “Why… are you smoking?”

“Because… I can?” He said rhetorically.

I sighed, “You’ve got to be shitting me.”

“Nah. You see, none of what I just said is actually going to happen. April Fools, ya dig?” He said with a big smirk.

“But it’s the eighth of April?” Shock asked.

“Well, this place is timeless so who cares, not me anyway.”

“You still didn’t answer my question. What happens now?” I asked.

“YOU, will be sent back to your fantasy world filled with your petty colourful equines.” He said as he waved his hands around, mocking me.

“But, what about Shock?” I narrowed my eyes as I got a bit annoyed.

“He’s gonna chill here with me, we’ll be having aaalottta fun.” He grinned.

He then spawned a barrier between me and Shock. It seemed to be unbreakable without magic. As I tried to get Shock to break it, he was already on the floor, weakened by The Rapture. I tried to bash through it, but to no avail. As I had lost all hope, I fell on my haunches. The scenery started to change to something familiar. The floor became wooden, and as I looked around, there were books literally everywhere.

“Wait a minute, the library!” I realized where I was and immediately went looking for Twilight for help.

“TWILIGHT!” I yelled out.

“What? Who’s yelling my name?” A weary voice was heard from upstairs.

I dashed upstairs and went into Twilight’s room. As I tried to reach for the doorknob, to my luck, the door slammed onto my face.

“GAH, FUCK!” I cried in pain.

“Oh, I’m so sorry! Are you hurt?” She rushed to my help.

“Yeah, I’ll be okay.” I rubbed my muzzle.

“I do hope so. And, who are you?” She asked me.

“Electri- wait, don’t you already know me?” I raised my eyebrow.

She made a puzzled look. “Uhh, I don’t think so?”

“Quit it, Twi. Shock is in trouble and we need Celestia’s help right now!” I stood up.

“Who is Shock? And how do you know my name?” She asked again.

I facehoofed. “Twi, stop it.”

“I honestly don’t know you, or your friend! And what could be so serious that you need Princess Celestia to help you?” She stressed out.

“Gah, fuck it.” I said as I went back downstairs and straight outside, slamming the door behind me in anger.

I decided that there was no point in figuring out her antics, but I only hope that she’s joking. If she’s not, then I doubt anypony else will know me either. I am assured though that the princess will know me, since she is the goddamn smartest being here. I raised my wings and took off.

Thank fuck I trained myself for this. I gained speed in an instant to get to the Canterlot Castle as fast as possible. This led to somepony curious following me. As I flew almost as fast what felt like a jet airplane,
I heard someone quite familiar yet again. I could guess who it was. The famous multi-chromatic speed demon catched up next to me.

“Hey, what’s the rush for? I’ve never seen anypony fly as fast as you do. Are you a wonderbolt?!”
She yelled out in glee.

I groaned. This confirmed my suspicions and made me doubt more if the princess would even know me.

“Well if it wasn’t obvious enough, I’m a bit busy right now!” I yelled back.

“Woah, chill out. Didn’t mean no harm!” She yelled again to me.

I completely ignored her this time and tried to fly away from her, but she was too fast. I concentrated all my energy to my wings. Soon enough, I was going as fast as a modern jet can go. I tried harder, and thus, I broke the sound barrier resulting in me doing a Sonic Boom.

I looked back and to see Rainbow Dash shocked seeing me doing something as awesome as that. But I ignored everything behind my back and headed straight to the castle. Hopefully Celestia can solve this problem, and everything will be okay in the end. But I still had my doubts. We’ll see.

Forever

Chapter 7 : Forever

With the pace I was going at, I could see the castle getting bigger in a matter of seconds. In just a few minutes, I was already at the front gate. I walked to the entrance, up until a guard stopped me on my tracks.

“Stop right there, where is your clearance?” He stopped me, with a stern look on his face.

“Mate, fuck off will ya? I got some important business to do.” I said as I tried to go past him.

His eyes struck upon me and he shoved me back, making me fall on my ass.

“Hmph, you shall not pass.” He said, grunting.

I rose up and stared at the guard as angrily as possible. I could tell he was getting uncomfortable.

“M-might I ask what is it that you’re doing?” He questioned.

I headbutted him as hard as a rock. He immediately slumped down. Good thing he didn’t have a horn, or else I’d be the one on the ground.

“Didn’t want to do that, but you forced me to.” I walked around his body and entered the castle.

Seems like there's less guards than usual.

There was another guard in front of the doors that lead to the throne, so I walked up to him.

“Hey, I gotta talk to the princess.” I said.

“Fine, but don’t try anything funny.” The guard then proceeded to open the door.

I raised my eyebrow. Just like that, huh?

I entered the throne room and kept on walking, as I saw princess Celestia writing some letters, I presume.
I finally got near her, but she didn’t even notice me.

“Um, hello?” I said.

She lifted her eyes off the letters she was writing on and looked at me, seeming perplexed.

“Hmm, No bow? No formal greetings?” She reminded of how much of an idiot I was.

“Oh! sorry.” I gave a sheepish smile and bowed.

She chuckled. “Well, I didn’t say you had to do so.”

My face was getting redder and redder.

“So, did you need something?” She asked.

I exhaled through my nose.

“Princess Celestia, do you recognize me?” I asked.

“Perhaps. Perhaps not. You do give me a familiar feeling, however.”

My ears perked up. “Really?”

“Of course, I even know why you’re here,” She made a cheeky smirk.

“You wish to save a friend of yours, correct?”

“Yes!” I said.

“Ah, so this confirms it. Come with me.” She rose from her throne and started walking. I quickly joined beside her.

“What is your name, if you don’t mind me asking?”

“It’s Electric Dazzle, but you can call me L, although that’s probably a bit informal.”

“Indeed, L. But I’m fine with it,” She smiled.

“Please do tell of what has happened, as I am not exactly sure myself.”

“Oh, well. There’s this thing that was taking my friend’s life. Nobody knew what it was, so there was nothing to be done,”

“But, when I had lost all hope for my friend, I appeared somewhere else. There was nothing, except for one thing. It’s some sort of a god that calls itself ‘The Rapture’.”

“Hmm, Rapture. That name does ring a bell.” She pondered.

“Why, do you know him?” I asked her.

“Quite…” She mumbled.

She seem to be too zoned out to even notice me. I tried waving my hoof in front her face, but to no avail. So, the only logical thing to do was to follow the princess, while sighing in defeat.

“Hmm, yes.” She was still pondering.

“What is it princess?” I kept on asking hoping for an answer.

“I figured we needed Discord for this.” She was irritated.

“Discord? Ain’t he some douche that brings chaos to the world?”

She gave me a bemused look. “That’s correct. But a douche?” She chuckled.

I have made a goddess laugh. I have now won life. But somehow, I sense jealousy from someone.

I smirked at the thought, knowing who it was.

“So, uhh… are you familiar with the Rapture? You were kinda zoned out back there.” I asked.

“He is related to Discord, that I know.” She answered.

“You think Discord will help us? Especially against his own relative?”

“It’ll be worth a try.” She winked.

“I guess you’re right.” I nodded.

We soon entered a secret hallway which was hidden behind some blinds. It surprised me when the princess told me that nobody even noticed this. Are ponies that oblivious, or is this place just too tight. Either way, I could care less. Inside my head, I kept remembering old gameplay videos I used to share with Shock but somehow, I can’t remember what kind. ‘Aloha’ kept ringing in my head, however.

“Get out of here, stalker.”

“Huh?” I wondered who said that.

“Electric?” Celestia tried to get my attention.

“Yes?” I answered.

“Over here,” I walked up to the princess and she lead me to another room with the entrance shielded by some sort of magic. She applied some other magic on me, to allow me to enter the room. Inside it, a gigantic portal leading to who knows where.

Connecting the portal to where I was standing, was a black bridge with golden accents. Other than the light emitted from the portal towards the bridge, everywhere else was darkness. It was clearly impossible to see how big the actual room is, but looking at the size of the portal, the room could be half the castle.

We paced towards the portal, but it felt like we were only slowly walking towards it. The nearer I got to the portal, the heavier I felt my body was getting. A few more steps till the entrance of the portal, it felt nearly impossible to move. Glancing over to the princess, she looked like she was having an afternoon stroll around the park, not feeling this effect at all. As soon as she noticed, straight away she lifted me up to the entrance.

[Shock’s POV]

What the heck is wrong with this guy. He keeps forcing me to play Cooking Mama with him. I thought he was some sort of god, but he turned out to be a total weirdo. How did he ended up with this much power, is beyond me.

“C’mon, if you play, I’ll give you a cookie.” He said to me while waving his 3DS at me.

I just sat there, thinking of how I ended up here. I would rather watch paint dry rather than play games with this idiot.

“You know, I can still read your mind.”

“Why did I have to die again?” I said to myself in disbelief that I have to spend the rest of eternity with this thing.

“Well, you know, It gets kinda lonely here. And I needed a friend.” He said to me in a shy-like voice.

“Wait… you’re telling me, you killed me,” I asked, holding back my anger within me.

“Umm…” He looked a bit uneasy.

“JUST SO THAT YOU CAN HAVE A FRIEND!?” I released the beast within.

“Sorta?”

For a moment, there was silence. Then, a battle cry as I charged at him to destroy this thing myself. With all my might, I gave that thing a good ‘ol headbutt and knocked him straight down. Once he was vulnerable, I will leave this fight to your imagination. Let’s say, in the end, he’d rather be in hell than be in the same room as I was. After letting out my anger on him I decided to stop, as it was getting old.

I sighed. “I hope you realize you have ruined my fucking life.”

He lied there, with his blood soaked face, completely knocked out. Once I realized I caused such massive damage to him, I started to doubt if he’s a god at all. Suddenly he spit out some of his blood out and rose up, albeit stumbling.

“You think…. You can do this to me?” He tried to scare me, “I am a GOD!”

Fast forward 10 minutes, he’s on the ground again, looking worse than before. Why do I even try.

“Okay,” he wiped his mouth from blood. “This time, I’ll show you my real powers.”

Now, in my mind, I thought he was going to be better. But fast forward 5 more minutes, you can say he is almost dead.

“You done yet?” I asked as I kneeled near him, “You’re pretty weak for a god.”

I took his DS and sat on him. I start to play Cooking Mama on my own, which was way more fun than playing with him. He kept failing the easiest part of the game, even when I tutored him.

Moments later, a portal started to emerge out of nowhere, with three figures coming out of it. One was a tall slender thing that I couldn’t recognize, while the other two looked like ponies. The Rapture noticed as well, and started to beg the figures to take me. I just lifted my hoof a little bit, and he already piped down, whimpering away.

Once the figures got closer, I started to recognize them, Princess Celestia, and Electric. But I had no idea who the third one was. Looked like a mutant from Chernobyl, just more colourful. So I got up and walked up to them.

“Hey, guys,” I greeted them as I was clearly glad to be able to see my friends again. And that weird thing.

“Hey man!” Electric cheerfully replied.

“Pleased to meet you, Electric’s friend.” The princess replied in a relaxed tone.

“Electric’s friend? Don’t you know me already?” I asked.

“I’m afraid not.” She frowned.

“Nobody remembers us anymore, after your death. Not sure why.” Electric told me.

That abomination that came with Electric and the princess flew by and went to The Rapture. I looked over at the princess, wanting to ask her what that is.

“By the way, that is Discord. He might not look so friendly but trust me, he’s all better now.” The princess explained to me.

“Well, what is he doing here?” I pondered.

“He was supposed to help us defeat The Rapture, but it seems you have that part covered, quite exquisitely.” Princess Celestia said.

I chuckled and said that the so called Rapture was not even that strong. We all then gathered around The Rapture to get some answers. Though I think getting everyone’s memories would be the priority.

“Explain yourself, you waste of my time!” I shouted at The Rapture whilst also threatening to punch him in the face.

“This place is timeless, dipshit.” He grinned.

I punched him right in the eye, giving him a black spot. The princess put her hoof on me, to say that I should calm down, but with a face like that, I could barely hold myself back to punch it.

“Ooh, edgy.” Electric chimed in. I rolled my eyes and calmed down.

“Oh, Rapture, my old friend. Look at what you have done now.” Discord said and placed his paw on his shoulder.

“Discord? Why the hell are you here?” The Rapture was astonished.

“Well, no reason at all anymore. I’m just here to get these poor ponies back to their home.” Discord answered melodramatically.

“Sure, go ahead. I’ll be fine myself then, just like the past two millenniums in here.” He sighed.

“I’m glad we could come to an agreement,” Discord said in a satisfied tone. “And I’ll restore all those memories of these two as well, thank you.”

All that was heard from The Rapture was a mutter.

“Did you have something to say?” I asked in an angrier tone, hoping to get a chance to punch him again.

“... No.” He replied.

“Thought so.” I scoffed.

“Alright, dude. It’s time to go home, don’tcha think?” Electric voiced.

“Sure. Let’s go then.”

Discord then opens another portal, presumably back to the good ol’ village that we all know and love.
It sure does feel nice to have everything back to normal again.

We approached the portal, and a brightly white light engulfed us. My eyes were blinded once entrance to the portal happened. After a moment there was just silence. I tried to open my eyes, but everything was just so blurry that I bothered not to. So I did what I could, which was falling asleep.

I woke up, and saw everypony surrounding me, Peachy as well. They haven’t realised I woke up yet, since they were all down for some reason. Seems like I’m in an hospital ward. Weird, I don’t remember being here at all. Last thing I remember was RD fucking Electric’s ass. Wait a minute, that sounds ridiculous. How would that happen? Must’ve been a dream then, a really weird dream. I accidently sneezed, which put the whole crowd in shock. They all looked at me, surprised to hear me sneeze. I looked around awkwardly, with every other pony’s eyes wide opened.

“Umm, hey?” I gave a weary, uncomfortable smile.

“Holy shit, you’re not dead!” Electric gasped.

“Shock!” Peachy dove straight for me for a hug.

“Woah, easy there!” I chuckled.

“We thought you were gone...” She said, while tears were trickling from her eyes down to her cheeks.

Damn, that hit me right where it means. Seeing her like that broke my heart.

“It’s okay, I’m here now. I’m not going to leave anytime soon.” I soothed her.

Everypony else where also very glad to see me again, but I still don’t know why I am here, or why everypony was so sad moments ago. Was I supposed to be dead? Maybe Princess Celestia has the answers. She knows everything.

I looked at the rest of the ponies. They looked a bit worried, which didn’t surprise me. I was worried for myself too, since I didn’t even know what the heck is going on.

“Soo, when am I going to get out of here, Doctor?” I turned to the pony in white.

“Well, we’ll have to conduct a few important tests on you, in a few months, you can go.” The doctor said while inspecting a clipboard.

“I don’t think that would be necessary.” The princess intruded, “I am sure that he is in good condition to leave in a few days.”

“Oh, thank god.” I said in relief.

~A few days later, outside the hospital

“Huh, so that’s what happened? Jeez, I didn’t know that.” Electric said.

“Yeah, it was a strange experience. Fuck that guy.” I shook my head.

We continued to walk, with no direction whatsoever. It felt great to be outside for once. The air is much cleaner compared to the one inside the hospital.

“I bet those chinese are jealous.” I said.

“Hm, about what?” Electric asked.

“The air, man.” I said.

“I don’t see what’s so special about it.” He was bemused.

“You kidding? It’s freaking clean!” I stressed.

“Well it’s pretty normal for where I have lived.” He shrugged.

I shook my head once again, “Whatever, you just don’t seem to appreciate life’s gift.”

“Pfft, what makes you think that?” He said while pulling out a blunt from under his wing.

“Yeah, sure.” I just looked at him, “Let’s go back to the treehouse. Freaking tired of walking around already.”

“Alright, how do I even light this thing? Oh well.” He threw the blunt on the ground.

“Some kiddies might pick that thing up.” I was not amused.

“Who cares, it’s harmless anyway.” He said while putting on a shit-eating grin.

All I could do was sigh, and keep moving on. After walking for an eternity, we notice Applejack, who was selling apples with Apple Bloom. We got closer and I greeted her.

“Hey, Applejack!” I waved.

“Well howdy Shock, you feelin’ all better now? You didn’t look too good back there.” She replied.

“Yeah, I’ve been feeling a whole lot more better now. Thanks for asking.”

“Well that’s all fine and dandy.” She said with a nice smile, “Looking to buy?”

“Hmm, sure. How much is a basket?” I wanted to buy some apples for Twilight since I felt like doing something nice for once.

“That would be 15 bits, but this one is on the house.” She passed me a basket filled with fresh apples.

“Really? Applejack, I am in your debt. If you need anything just tell me.”

“No no, it’s fine. You’ve been through so much these few days, now if you excuse me, I got some apples to sell.” She said.

“Oh, alright. See you later then.”

As we walked on, I notice Peachy, who was still selling those banners. I signaled L to go on ahead and that I will catch up later. I quickly walked up to her stall. Once I got close enough, I noticed she was too busy organizing stuff to see me. So I went to the front of the stall, looking like as if I wanted to buy something.

“So, how much is a banner?” I asked with a bit deeper voice.

“That would be…” She abruptly stopped because she actually got to see me. “Shock!”

She quickly went around the stall and gave me big hug.

“Looks like someone is happy to see me?” I said with a grin.

“Of course I am. These few days felt like an eternity.” She said as she still held onto me.

“Well, I’m here already. Hey, I got something for you.” I said as I showed her the basket.

“Well, aren’t you the sweetest colt around.” She said with a cute smile.

“As sweet as those apples. Oh, I have to save some for Twilight. I forgot to get her some apples before, now I want to pay her back.”

“Well, alright. Put the apples in that barrel over there. You know, you still haven’t took me out for dinner.”

“How about this Friday?” I asked her.

“Friday sounds great. Guess I’ll see you on Friday then. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a store to tend to.” She said as she returned to the back of the stall.

I waved goodbye to Peachy and quickly made haste to Electric in which I am sure is almost at the treehouse. Once I reached him, we were getting closer to our destination.

“Took you long enough.” He said with a smirk

“Meh, I was with her only for a few minutes.” I replied to him.

“Whatevs.” He said.

We took the basket o’ apples to the treehouse, which was only a few more minutes away. Thank god, I couldn’t bare anymore walking at that point.

Once we arrived there, the sight of the treehouse just filled me with memories of the fun times we had here, even in just a span of a few days. Twilight and Spike were outside. Both Electric and I approached them as I eagerly wanted to meet them like how we used to.

“Hey, Twilight. Hey, Spike.” I said happily.

“Hey Shock!” Both of them said at the same time.

“So, how are you feeling?” Twilight asked me with Spike right beside her.

“Pretty good, really tired from all the walking, but all is well.” I then reached for the basket, putting it on the ground and sat on my haunches.

Twilight chuckled. “I see.”

“I just don’t care anymore. Are you going to invite us inside or not?” I said with a smirk.

“It’s a library, you can enter anytime.” Electric said.

“It’s still her house, gotta show some respect.”

“Holy shit, you’re such a casual.” Electric facehoofed.

“Apparently manners don’t exist to you.” I said as I raised an eyebrow.

“Nah, not the pompous ones at least.”

“Okay, enough. Why do you two argue so much?” Twilight stepped in.

“This is how we have always been. From the start till the end.” I explained to her.

“Whatever, just grab that basket and help me make lunch.” She said as she opened the library door.

I stood back up and and grabbed the basket with my mouth. I let the others in first, just so that I can take a nice look outside. Just to remind me that this is my home now. After a while, I closed the door and went to Twilight.

Thus, ends the week filled with shit I don’t even know how to explain. Maybe this will repeat all over again, or more stranger things happen. Either way, I was finally happy for once. I also got a significant pony to look into now, which I never had before in my previous life. Either way, life is good now.

“Wow, what a shitty ending.” said Daniel while sitting on his laptop.

“Hey, what are you reading? Is it some pony fanfic again?” Amir peeked in and asked.

“No, piss off.”

“Well, whatever. We got a mission. North Korea.” Amir briefed Daniel.

“You serious?” Daniel raised his eyebrows in surprise.

“I wish I wasn’t.” Amir sighed.

“Well, gear up then. We’re going for a holiday.” Daniel closed his laptop and left his room, closing the door.
