Rainbow Dash is the owner of a huge company. The Cloudsdale Weather Corporation. She is happy with her friends and Scootaloo. But what happens when her life is at stake. Will her friends help her? Or will they fall from their greatest enemy yet? Spectrum.
Two ponies ran through the halls of Twilight's tree castle. Applejack urged her sister to run for her life. Apple Bloom did as she was told and ran. Suddenly, a familiar face showed up next to Applejack.
"AJ?! Are you alright?"
It was Scootaloo.
"Yeah, for now. But-"
AJ was interrupted by an explosion. They all looked to see Twilight crashing through the walls of the castle. They rushed towards her.
"Twilight?!"
She was unconscious. AJ soon met a terrible fate when she was hit by a strong force. It sent her flying through the air and landing on the cold hard floor.
"Applejack!"
Scootaloo looked behind her to see someone she hoped she wouldn't see.
"Rainbow Dash."
Rainbow Dash was seen flying on a glider. She had a suit on her with weapons and gadgets of all sorts. Her glider looked similar to that of a snow board. She looked at Scootaloo with rage.
Rainbow kicked Scootaloo sending her flying towards the wall. Rainbow shot a grappling hook from a gadget that was connected to one of her hooves. The rope tied Scootaloo up. She tried to escape the grasp of the metal rope as Rainbow Dash walked up to her.
"Rainbow Dash! The suit! You have to take it off!"
Rainbow laughed as she pulled out a sharp sword. She put it up to Scootaloo's neck.
"Oh you'd like that wouldn't you?"
Scootaloo started to cry.
"Please! It has corrupted you with power! Please! We're trying to help you!"
"Help me?!"
Rainbow yelled as she put the sharp metal closer to her throat.
"I was dying! I needed you all! My friends. I thought you would help me. But you just watched as I slowly started to fade away!"
Scootaloo looked down as Rainbow continued.
"But, with this suit. I was able to heal myself. Now I can breathe like a normal pony."
Scootaloo looked at her with anger as well.
"But why?! Why try and kill everypony?! You're a monster! I want my sister back!"
Rainbow chuckled.
"I like being bad. It makes me feel...happy."
Rainbow used all her power and...
SLICE
One Week Earlier... Scootaloo walked along the dirt path towards Ponyville. She was excited because today was her birthday! What an exciting day for a foal like herself! She was also excited because her role model was going to be there.
Rainbow Dash.
Oh how Scootaloo wanted to be like her. She was so inspiring. Rainbow Dash had adopted her as her sister. Scootaloo couldn't even imagine how wonderful that was! It was her dream come true!
And what made her sister even better was that she was the manager of a huge company in Cloudsdale! The Cloudsdale Weather Corporation. Or more commonly known as, The Rainbow Factory.
The Rainbow Factory was a huge facility with high security. Many people say that they make rainbows and keep the weather in order. But, as Rainbow Dash said, there is more to it. Apparently they also make big machinery and gadgets if all sorts.
High electrical capacitors, weapons, and so much more. Rainbow Dash told her that she would one day give her a tour of the place. Rainbow Dash told her many stories of the place and how it began.
She told her that when she did her first Sonic Rainboom, she was asked to one day work there. Over the years she was put into higher positions until she finally reached manager.
Scootaloo wondered if she would ever reach as big as a goal as her big sister.
"Scootaloo!"
The young fillie snapped out of her trance to see her friend Pinkie Pie hopping towards her.
"Hi Pinkie Pie!"
Pinkie ran towards her and put her hooves in the air causing confetti to appear.
"This is so exciting! It's your birthday! So I'm going to make this your best birthday ever! Oh! And you know what makes this even better?!"
Scootaloo was curious to where this was heading.
"What?"
Suddenly, a yellow pony with a brown mane, similiar to Pinkie's, came from behind a tree and jumped next to Pinkie.
"Because you have TWO party planners right here!" They both said at the same time.
Pinkie jumped with joy.
"That's right! Cheese Sandwich has offered to help me make this an amazing day for you! Right Cheese?"
Cheese continued after her.
"You bet ya!"
Cheese then pulled out a tricycle out of no where. Pinkie and Cheese jumped on it and rode away towards Ponyville. Scootaloo laughed. They were so random.
Twilight walked out of her castle home as she carried some books with her. She trotted along the path towards Ponyville. She took a deep breath and sighed. It was a beautiful day in Equestria. She smiled as she saw two young fillies flying a kite.
She wasn't paying attention ahead of her. She bumped into somepony causing her books to fall. She looked up to see a pegasus with black fur. His mane was gray and he had a lightning bolt as his cutie mark.
"I'm sorry," Twilight said,"I didn't see where I was going."
The pony smiled.
"It's not a problem-wait. You're Twilight Sparkle! Oh my! I'm a really big fan."
Twilight was surprised by this. She'd never thought of somepony to be a big fan of her. She just smiled.
"Really?"
"Yeah! I mean, you're the Princess of Friendship! Who wouldn't be a fan of you?!"
Twilight blushed at this.
"Why thank you. I'm sorry but I'm in a hurry."
"Oh don't worry. I have to go too. It was nice meeting you, princess."
They shook hooves and Twilight chuckled.
"Please, call me Twilight."
She started to walk away when she stopped.
"I'm sorry, but I never got your name."
The pony laughed.
"Lightning Rod. But you can call me lightning."
Twilight nodded and headed towards Pinkie's place.
Later That Night
Everypony shouted and jumped for joy because it was the big party everypony was waiting for! Scootaloo was enjoying herself and talking with her friends. She couldn't believe all the effort Pinkie and Cheese did to make this the best day of her life.
It was soon about to get better. Scootaloo looked up to see Rainbow Dash flying high above the sky. Rainbow dived and BOOM! Everypony cheered as Rainbow Dash did the Sonic Rainboom. Rainbow came flying down laughing.
Scootaloo ran up to her sister and hugged her.
"Thank you so much for being here Rainbow Dash!"
"Aww don't mention it! I wouldn't miss this day for the world!"
"But, what about the factory? Weren't you supposed to be there?"
"Don't worry. My friend Hide will take care of it. He's a good guy."
Oh how amazing it would have been to be at that party! Though, Scootaloo wasn't the only one to have a birthday that same day. There was somepony else. Somepony who would soon...destroy harmony.
Meanwhile...
It was dark and quiet inside a small room until a switch could be heard turning the lights on. The place brightened up revealing pictures of Twilight Sparkle. There was a mirror on the wall revealing a certain pony.
"Oh, well hello there Tilight Sparkle."
It was Lightning Rod. He was fixing his mane and looking at himself on the mirror. He had a picture of Twilight on one side of the mirror, that's what he was talking to.
"How was your morning? Good? Mine was great! It must be so good to have that much power right? And you can visit anypony you want."
He stopped for a second and smiled.
"Of course. That's why you're here. You remembered my birthday. Wow! You know out of all the princess duties and responsibilities you have you took time out of your life to see me. Your buddy Lightning. Well, why wouldn't you? We're best friends."
Lightning trotted towards a box and took out a cupcake with a lightning bolt candle on top.
What are you doing? You made me a cupcake? Ponies don't understand the kind things you do for everypony. Well it doesn't matter because I know the real you. You're amazing. That's right. And today is going to be...amazing!"
Suddenly, all the lightning flashed outside. Lightning fixed his glasses and groaned.
The Spectrum Normal POV Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash walked through Ponyville. It was a beautiful morning, the sun shined bright above them. Rainbow Dash stopped for a second. Scootaloo noticed that she wasn't next to her and looked behind her. Rainbow Dash just stood there with her head down. She looked as if she ran out of air.
"Rainbow Dash, are you ok?"
The Rainbow maned pegasus looked up at Scootaloo and smiled. She started to walk a little faster again.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Just tired I guess."
They continued on there day as usual. Scootaloo had a certain thought running through her mind. She decided to ask Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow Dash? How is it at the factory?"
"Everything's okay. I mean we're in charge of the weather so..."
"No, I mean...how are you there?"
"Oh, well alright I guess. I mean the factory is filled with toxic gases and so much more. That's why I haven't taken you up there. It's very dangerous for somepony like yourself."
"But I can handle it. I'm as strong and tuff as you are."
"Yeah, I believe Scootaloo."
Rainbow then took out her wing and hugged her.
"I just don't want you to get hurt. The factory is a very dangerous place. There's a lot of machines there that could injure even the strongest of ponies. Maybe when you're older I'll show you around."
Scootaloo was a bit disappointed. Rainbow noticed this and got an idea.
"Hey, how about we take a flight?"
Scootaloo smiled. She got on Rainbow's back and off they were.
At The Rainbow Factory
Lightning flew up to the giant tall building. He entered inside where many ponies were at work. He flew towards a high place and then walked. It was his birthday and he really didn't want to work. But his boss told him to.
"You're late Lightning."
Speaking of boss, he called out to Lightning. Lightning looked back to see his boss with a serious face. His boss walked up to him and he looked upset. Lightning apologized and explained.
"I'm sorry sir, but I had to-"
"Don't you know that we're all responsible for Equestria's weather?"
"Yes sir but-"
"And that Celestia depends on us to keep everything in order?"
"Yes sir, and I even did it."
"You did what?"
"I designed the Spectrum. The device that keeps everything in order. The weather and the factory itself."
"Really? And I'm Twilight Sparkle." His boss said sarcastically.
Lightning wanted to just choke him for insulting his idol.
"Get back to work!"
Lightning sighed and went to his position in the factory.
Twilight's home...
Twilight and her friends were at the map discussing a certain idea. They had been going on about the map and its properties. They had recently made friends with Starlight Glimmer. What they wondered is if the map was controlled by somepony.
"Hey everpony."
They all looked at the door to see Rainbow Dash entering.
"Uh hey Rainbow Dash. Shouldn't you be workin' at the factory?" Applejack questioned.
Rainbow Dash just laughed.
"Don't worry. My buddy, Hide, will take care of stuff. I just came here to see what you were up to."
Fluttershy remembered something that she wanted to ask.
"Umm Rainbow Dash. If it's possible, may you make sure that it isn't cloudy for today's Grand Galloping Galla? It would be nice to see the moon shine."
"Oh sure, not a problem. I'll have to ask somepony to make sure the Spectrum is set for clear night sky. I'll do it right now."
Rainbow pressed her hoof on her ear. She was contacting one of the bosses. Soon somepony answered.
"Yes ma'am?"
"Hide, buddy. Can you make sure that the Spectrum is set to clear night sky?"
"Already on it, ma'am."
"Thanks, and I told you. You can call me Dash."
"Yes, Dash."
She finished contacting her friend and she laughed.
"Well, there you go! I'll see you all later. I'm going to go and see how the Cutie Mark Crusaders are."
Rainbow then flew off and outside the door.
At the Rainbkw Factory...
It was almost time for everypony at the factory to call it quits. Lightning was about ready to leave. He was excited about his birthday. He was then tapped on the shoulder. He looked to his right to see his boss. Doctor Hide Atmosphere.
"Lightning, Rainbow Dash has asked that you fix the Spectrum. She wants a clear night sky for the Grand Galloping Galla."
"But sir, today's my birthday."
Hide just walked away and scoffed.
"Happy birthday. Now go and fix it!"
Lightning sighed and flew towards the spectrum. He couldn't believe that he had to spend his birthday fixing Equestria's weather. And his own machine! He flew up and found the Spectrum. The Spectrum was a huge clear triangle prism. It probably was estimated at 200 feet wide and 600 meters in height!
Below the giant pyramid was a giant bucket which estimated to 250 feet in length and 400 meters in height. Inside the bucket was every single type of weather. They even had rainbows in there. It was changed into liquid because Rainbow Dash thought it was a better system.
Lightning noticed that the clear pyramid had a wire sticking out. He flew down to examine it. There were to plugs that needed to be put together. He couldn't just connect them that easily. They were spewing out electricity. He needed them to be shut off.
He put his hoof on his ear contacting somepony. Finally somepony answered.
"Yes?"
"Yes it's Lightning here. Could we turn off circuit 39 to connect two loose plugs?"
"Sorry, I'm off my shift."
"But it's dangerous here-"
No pony answered and Lightning sighed. He flew up and grabbed to two plugs. He started to sing to himself.
"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear Lightning. Happy birthday...to....me."
He then put the two plugs together. Nothing electrocuted him. He sighed in relief and put the wire back. Suddenly, an electric charge shot through the wire causing Lightning to scream in pain. He then forgot to fly and fell down towards the bucket of weather.
He fell inside screaming as the wire shocked the liquid sending excruciating pain in his gains. His fur started to change from black to many colors. His cutie mark changed from a lightning bolt to a blue bolt. His eyes changed from green to blue.
He then started to drown inside the bucket. Then..he was gone.
Meanwhile...
Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo walked along the streets off Ponyville. The sun was setting and it was almost time for the Grand Galloping Galla. Rainbow Dash stopped all of the sudden. She felt a sharp pain on her stomach. Scootaloo ran towards her.
"Rainbow Dash! Are you okay?!"
"Yeah yeah. I'm fine. Just tired that's all."
"Maybe you shouldn't go."
"What? Are you kidding. I wouldn't miss this! I'll be okay. I just need to rest when I get back. I'll be fine."
What the two didn't know is that there were two ponies watching them. One of them was Dr. Atmosphere. He looked at the other pony next to him.
"Who was he?"
"Lightning Rod. A rainbow factory employee in charge of the rainbows in this place. He worked down below the factory. You could say he was invisible."
"Well, with this child in charge of us we have to hide this. Make sure that Lightning stays invisible. This could prove useful to us in the future."

In a dark cold room inside the factory were lamps. Another thing in the room was a body covered in a bag. It was Lightning Rod. His corpse lay there with the little light in the room. The lamps started to flicker. One sparked and everything went silent.
Suddenly, the body shook and the lights went on and off like crazy. The body fell revealing Lightning's fur. It was white and he backed away. He didn't know what was happening or what happened to him. Above his head was a knife that fell from a shelf.
He covered himself from the falling metal and waited for his fate. He waited a few seconds before looking up. The knife hovered above him. How you ask. His body was covered with lightning, the colors of the rainbow lightning. The knife then melted and fell to the floor.
Lightning looked at it in astonishment. He tried to get up, but with some effort was able to get on his hooves. He walked slowly and grabbed a black hooded coat to cover himself. He slowly walked out towards the exit. He looked at his back.
His wings were scorched and burned off. He no longer had them. He found a mirror and looked at himself. His mane was a rainbow(the picture for the story shows gray but it was a mistake)and his fur was white. His cutie mark had changed from a yellow lightning bolt on top of a white cloud, to a blue bolt on top of a gray cloud.
He walked out of the room and exited the factory. Where could he go-wait. Of course. The Grand Galloping Galla. The princess could help him. But how could he get down. He had no wings. He then felt something on his back.
His wings were growing back! He was astonished at his new wings. They were a clear silver. Hopefully the princess could help him. Or even better. Twilight Sparkle.
At the Galla
Everypony arrived at the Galla that was held in Canterlot. Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo arrived at the Galla along with the other five, the CMC, Spike, and Cheese Sandwich. Pinkie grinned and grabbed Cheese.
"C'mon! It's party time!"
They then ran to the dance floor. The others laughed at Pinkie's antics. Twilight looked around and noticed that Discord was here. She remembered the last time Discord was here. It was certainly a slimy nightmare. She looked around to see who else was here.
Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and the rest of CMC were at the snack table looking through the delicious food. Rainbow Dash went to go get some punch before a sharp pain in her head came from nowhere. She nearly fell down. Rarity noticed this and ran towards her.
"Rainbow Dash, dear, are you alright?"
Rainbow nodded and coughed a bit.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just have a cold I guess."
The lights then flickered on and off all of the sudden. Everypony wondered what was happening. Thunder and lightning flashed outside as clouds covered the moon. The ponies were shocked. The clouds were moving on their own! Applejack realized something.
"Rainbow? I thought ya said it was gonna be clear tonight?"
"I did. I don't know what's going on."
Rainbow was as confused as the others. Celestia walked next to Twilight.
"Twilight, what's happening?"
"I don't know."
A dark figure covered in a black coat walked inside the castle through the doors. The guards walked in front of him. One of the guards yelled at the figure.
"Who are you and why are you here?!"
The figure pulled back the hood that covered his head revealing his face. It was white and covered with rainbow lightning. The guards and everypony looked in horror and fear. The guard went towards him to attack. But as soon as he did he was stopped by a barrier of rainbows which launched the guard across the room.
Everypony panicked and screamed as the guard fell to the floor unconscious. The rest of the guards protected and guarded everypony from the weird being. The pony with the black coat panicked as well. He didn't know what was happening. He screamed out for help as the guards circled him.
"Wait! Stop! It's not my fault! Please! Somepony help me-......"
The pony looked around him. He saw everypony looking at him. He was overwhelmed by all the eyes looking at him. He looked around mumbling to himself.
"They see me. They...see me. They see...me."
The guards got closer to him and went to attack. The pony started to get scared and asked for mercy.
"Wait! It's not my fault! It's not my fault!"
The guards ignored him and got closer. The pony got angry and frustrated.
"I said STOP!!!!"
He then hit the floor with his hoof and lightning bolted through the floor. It caused the guards to be launched from the powerful force of the lightning. They all fell unconscious. Twilight Sparkle told everypony to stop. She walked slowly towards the pony.
"Hey, it's ok."
The mysterious pony looked towards the princess while she continued.
"I'm Twilight Sparkle. Who are you?"
"Twilight Sparkle? It's me, Lightning Rod."
Twilight looked at him in surprise.
"Lightning? What-what happened?"
"I don't know. I don't know. I-I fell inside a machine and this happened."
Rainbow Dash thought for a second and mumbled to herself in realization.
"The Spectrum."
Twilight reassured her friend.
"Don't worry, Lightning. We're going to help you."
Lightning looked at his hooves. Lightning of all colors flickered as he spook.
"Strange. I feel so much power. And I've got so much anger."
"Don't worry. We're going through help you."
"I don't want them to hurt me."
"There not going to hurt you."
Luna looked at the pony. She didn't trust him. She was ready to blast him with her magic if he made a move. Lightning started to calm down and move back when he almost tripped over something. Luna overreacted and shot the pony with her magic.
"No!" Twilight screamed.
Lightning let his anger get the best of him and he shot a bolt of lightning at the princess. Luna was hit and she fell in pain. Twilight shot her magic at him causing him to fall down. Everypony cheered for Twilight and chanted her name.
Lightning looked around and got up. Everypony turned their attention to Twilight...instead of him. He heard..weird voices in his head. She lied to you She hates on you She shot at you
Lightning looked at her and narrowed her eyes.
"You're so selfish."
Twilight noticed that his behavior was changing.
"Stay with me, Lightning."
"You hate me."
"No I-"
"You lied to me!"
"No I want to help you!"
The voices in his head came back.
She lied to me She hates on me She's using me Fragility Electricity Afraid of me She's dead to me She hates on me She's using me She's dead to me That Twilight Sparkle! She is my enemy!!!
Lightning hit his hoof on the ground causing electricity to come towards Twilight. Twilight created a force field with her magic. She looked at him in surprise. Lightning put his hooves together to make more electricity.
"It's my birthday. Now it's time for me to light my candles!"
He started to shoot lighting at her. Applejack saw an opportunity as Twilight distracted Lightning. She ran towards him and kicked him with her hind legs. The kick caused lightning to be pushed far up into the sky. Everypony screamed and panicked.
Lightning opened his eyes. There were clouds in front of him. He took out his hooves and absorbed all the power out of them. He got more powerful each second he absorbed the power of the weather. He yelled with all the power going into his veins. Then, all of Canterlot went dark. They couldn't see anything.
Suddenly, a giant blast of lightning of rainbows went across Canterlot. The blast caused a bit of the castle to be torn apart. The citizens ran as far as they could from the lightning that rained down on them. Lightning took out one hoof and shot lightning from it. He liked this dealing they had for him. Fear.
He kept sending bolts of rainbow death towards them. Lightning didn't notice but a blast of water came right at him. The blast of water caused him to fall towards the hard ground. Twilight had cast a spell to summon water to her aid. Everypony cheered for Twilight and her friends. Lightning just stayed on the cold ground while the guards went to arrest him. Lightning said one thing before falling unconscious.
Rainbow Dash sat in her chair in her office room in the factory. She was reading a newspaper about the incident that happened yesterday. She wondered how the Spectrum could create something so powerful. Power.
The word felt so good when she said it. Power. Everypony wants to have power any way they can. But if not careful could lead to disastrous consequences. And she knew that. Rainbow was about to get out when the pain came back.
"Ahhhhh!"
She gritted her teeth as the pain shot up to her head. What was going on with her. She pressed a button on her desk to call Dr. Atmosphere. In just a few minutes Hide came wondering what was happening.
"Yes, Rainbow?"
"Hide, I think there's something wrong with me."
"What do you mean?"
"I keep having this pain in my stomach and head. Could you just check it out?"
Hide nodded and walked towards her.
"C'mon. We can go to Pegasus Scanner to see what is wrong."
Meanwhile, Somewhere Inside the Factory...
A giant machine cranked and spurted out smoke as it pulled something out of a pool of water. The machine pulled out a pony with white skin and a rainbow mane. As he was lifted and held by the machine a pony with a lab coat walked up to the pony.
"Hello there. I am Dr. Kafka. I'm here to help you."
Lightning looked at him with no emotion in his face or voice at all.
"Course you are doc. That's why chained me against highly advanced electrical capacitors. The kind they make at the CWC."
"That's right. I'm here to study what you are, why you are-oh and I will get results."
Kafka then pressed a button causing painful rays of positive energy to go through Lightning's body. He screamed in pain. Lightning panted and looked at Kafka.
"You do realize...you locked me in a place...that runs...on weather?"
Kafka nodded and Lightning closed his eyes and sighed.
"I can feel in my veins...I can hear it calling through the factory...no matter what you do you cant contain weather...it's a force of nature....like me."
Kafka chuckled and pressed the button again. Lightning gritted his teeth because of the pain. Lightning had had enough.
"Do you wanna know how powerful I really am?!"
"Yeah!"
"Well so do I!"
Kafka pressed the button, but it wouldn't stop Lightning from continuing to talk. Kafka was absolutely frightened now.
"I'm dying...to know! Doc! But you better make dang sure you kill me this time! Cause if you don't...I'm going to kill..the light! So that everypony in Equestria knows what it's like to live in my world! A world...without power....a world...without friendship....a world...without Twilight Sparkle. And the world will see...for who I truly am!"
Lightning's color started to change from bright colors into having black lightning added with the rest of the rainbow lighting. Kafka stepped back a little and asked:
"Who are you?"
Lighting chuckled.
"Don't you know? I'm Spectrum!"
The entire place then sparked and went out of control. All the Electrical devices flashed and went crazy. Lightning/Spectrum then fainted.
In a Board Meeting Room...
Rainbow Dash sat in her seat while the rest of the board members of the factory waited for her to speak. She was quite after getting the results of what was going on with her. Hide stopped the silence.
"Rainbow, you know you can't do this. Celestia wouldn't allow it-"
"Of course the princess of that star would say that."
Rainbow Dash interrupted him.
"Anypony must've questioned her methods when she asked us to take charge in the weather for Equestria. We're talking about the alicorn who thought it was a good idea to send her sister to the moon, turn a creature of chaos into stone, and not tell anypony that the world was in danger. What gives her the right to tell me what to do?"
"But this plan won't work. Celestia wouldn't want to do it."
"Then I'll find an alicorn who will."
Rainbow looked to see a yellow pony sitting in one of the chairs. She was writing on a piece of paper. Rainbow leaned towards the table.
"Hello there."
The yellow pony looked at Rainbow with a little fear. She didn't know why the manager of weather would call her.
"What's your name?"
The yellow pegasus responded with a little confidence.
"Dawn, Aurora Dawn."
Rainbow smiled and looked at all the board members.
"From now on everypony works for Aurora. Because Aurora knows what she's doing. Will anypony like to speak up?"
They all looked at the floor while others nodded.
"Good, then you can all keep your jobs for a little longer. Aurora, I want you to get a certain pony for me. I think you're familiar with the Princess of Friendship."
One Hour Later...
Twilight Sparkle walked inside Rainbow's office.
"Rainbow Dash?"
Rainbow motioned for Twilight to walk in. The alicorn trotted inside the room and sat down a chair across from her friend.
"How are you Rainbkw Dash? You haven't seen you in a while."
Rainbow sighed.
"Not good, Twilight. I'm dying, and I think you can help me."
Twilight froze. Her friend...dying? How could this be? The pegasus continued.
"You see, two weeks ago, I was supervising some ponies getting some chemicals to help the weather machines from crashing or going haywire. And to prevent anypony from breathing the toxic fumes, we wear masks and special suits. Safety is a number one rule here after all. Anyways, I was wearing my suit...but somehow...the suit wasn't giving me any good oxygen. I must've breathed the chemicals causing the cells in my body to slowly die."
Twilight was having a hard time listening to this. How could this happen? How?
"How can I help?"
Rainbow Dash explained to her friend.
"The scientists and researchers here have figured out a solution. If I was able to get blood from an alicorn I would be able to turn it into a cure. I obviously knew that Celestia,Luna, or even Cadance would disagree to give me their blood. That's why I asked you her Twilight."
Twilight couldn't believe her ears. How could she give Rainbow Dash her blood. Her blood could do something worse to Rainbow.
"Rainbow Dash, how are you even sure that this would work?"
"I know it will. I just need your blood, Twilight. You can save me."
"Rainbow Dash. You're my friend, but I can't do this. It could do something worse. Trust me, I know this stuff. And I can tell you, it could kill you."
Rainbow Dash had an angry look on her face.
"Twilight? What are you the princess of?"
"Rainbow-"
"What are you the princess of?!"
Twilight sighed.
"The Princess of Friendship."
"So as a friend you should do me this favor."
Twilight disagreed.
"And as a friend I'm telling you that this is a bad idea! If you wait a week or so I can figure out a cure."
"I don't have weeks!"
Twilight sighed.
"I'm sorry."
She then left and closed the door behind her. Rainbow Dash grabbed the table and chairs and flipped and threw them in rage.
"You're a fraud, Twilight Sparkle!!!"
Rainbow fell down and cried. What was she going to do now?
