Nopony saw it coming the Megaspell that is, The only thing i remember from before the Megaspell hit was Princess Luna putting me into a stasis pod.
I am so rude let me introduce my self my name is Shadtrax Skr if it hasn't accrued yet I am one of six Crossbreeds or as back in the day used to say monsters.
That is to say that when my story starts I have no idea about the other 5 crossbreeds nor am I going to know that I'm going to be brought in to a world almost completely destroyed apart from one thing Pony kind still strong and standing, I like to say before my Story starts let me give you a brief description of me.
I am a Lavender Unicorn with Changeling DNA that doesn't make me a Changeling it's just the blood anyway I have white mane and tail purple eyes and tiny fangs, My cutie mark is a black shield with a crescent moon and a star in the centre of said shield.
Let me start how my story began: It started with me getting up from the 447th day with the war going on, after having a wash and going to the main living area in Canterlot Castle Luna and Celestia were there having they're breakfast I was one of the lucky ones to live with the Alicorn sisters.
Celestia was alright with my condition she called it but Luna, she was like a mother to me she cared, loved me and helped me through studies on weapons and combat.
I liked handling the Sniper rifle and Assault rifle but when Luna teaches me personally its a sword and shield, training really hard I'm really good at it that for my 17th birthday Luna got me a preconized shield for me, had my cutie mark on it and the long ago language of the Alicorns.
Although being 18 years of age it wasn't long till I had to go and fight against the Zebras, thinking about it makes me want to find the Zebra leader and blow his or her head off.
"Morning Princesses" I said walking to the counter and using my magic to pop some bread into the toaster, Oh and another thing with my crossbreed type being really rare I am under protection by both princesses.
My DNA is so rare that one drop of blood mixed with herbs and pure spring water has the ability to heal wounds and radiation sickness,
Suddenly the cheerful music beats of Dj-Pon3 was stopped by an emergency news bulletin "Reports are coming in the Zebra's have launched the Nukes. Megaspells have hit Las Pegasus and Fillidelphia" the news reader read out, My eyes widened as a Pegasus Guard came through the door "Your highnesses we must get you to a Stable quick we got confirmation that a Nuke is heading for Canterlot".
Celestia nodded to Luna and Luna asked me to follow her out side, as we got outside she teleported us to a Stable entrance in the distance Manehatten with a sound of a riot happening Ponies screaming, Swat mares shouting to calm down and a orangey yellow glow of fire also the sound of the fire brigade siren.
"Luna I'm getting kinda scared!" I said my tail drooping in between my hind legs as I followed her in to the cave, the soily ground is cold and rough "it's going to be alright Shadtrax, its going to be aright" Luna said her tone calming and soft like velvet.
Entering the cave through a wooden door a tunnel led to a big metal opening where two guards were posted, I jumped as I heard a loud explosion coming from Outside and Luna told the guards to go outside.
Upon entering the stable I looked up to see the giant cog shaped door with the numbers 666 painted in mild yellow, looking to the right six lockers stood what is contained in them I don't know but it must be Important cause it says weaponry.
To the left was a couple bottles of sparkle-cola and an open locker hanging inside was security armour, grey looking with an armoured shoulder which went down to a hoof gauntlet.
Also on the table was a clipboard with the information about the stable I was in, it said "Stable 666 Cryogenics/ Stasis test" I didn't know what it meant by that but it must be something that included me.
Following Luna to another door on the opposite side of the Stable entrance, she levitated a Stable uniform to me "Put that on Shadtrax, oh and put this Pip-Buck on too" doing as she asked me, the Stable uniform was a aquamarine blue in colour with a cog shape symbol on the back, on either side of the collar and on the right side chest area.
As for the Pip-buck it was the 3000 series with a hologram add on to where hologram A.I chips are inserted and it produces a hologram on your Pip-buck, the Pip-buck is a pale yellow in colour and the screen is white in colour.
Following Luna into the next room which was the only room a silver egg shaped machine the door had a single circle window, the inside had a dark red velvet leather chair.
On the left side of the machine stood the console to operate it, Luna was imputing a series of numbers into the console I didn't understand what they meant but if it was something important then ok.
Also on the console screen it said Stasis pod ready please enter password to activate, Luna looked at me "Shadtrax i want you to go in to this in order to keep you safe" I looked back at Luna with a Scared look in my eyes "B-but what about you?" Luna smiled warmly to raise my spirits "Don't worry about me i'll be fine, This stasis pod will keep you safe and will let you out when its safe to come out ok" I sighed and walked into the stasis pod waiting for Luna to close the door she gave me a kiss and entered the password.
The door closed and the last thing I remember is my hoof on the glass and Luna on the other side doing the same thing, and the pod depressurised and the window was slowly freezing up.
At this time I presume Luna had left the Stable closing it behind her and remembering how it was built it swung down and locking in place in place, I was also wondering while in stasis what is happening on the outside.
Why war why did it have to come to this, What is it said "War, war never changes" those zebras cant be trusted with nukes
I hope the other ponies got into the other stables, thank Stable-Tech for the Stables that are built all over Equestria.
The thing I know is this when I get out my first task is to get back to Canterlot to be back with Luna and continue with the lessons she was teaching me, sighing I said to my self "Future here comes the Stallion Out From Time!"
I closed my eyes as the window finally froze up all I had was my thoughts
As the ice melted and I can now hear an alarm blearing as orange warning lights filled the room with light and I can hear a voice just silenced by the airtight door of the Stasis pod, "Warning Stable door breeched!, Warning Stable door breached!" The voice repeated and got louder as the door to the stasis pod opened to where I fell out coughing and freezing.
Getting up to my hooves and looking around with my vision blurred, I tried my best to find the door to the Stable entrance I found it and opened only to feel cold air hit my face.
I shivered and my vison came back and I saw to my horror the door to the Stable was blast open and other ponies wearing strange looking armour were walking in, "Well well well looks like we have a visitor, Lets cut this Mother Fucker up" One of them said in a raspy voice it sounded like someone had a cough and didn't do a thing about it.
Walking backwards in to the room I came from I quickly closed the door and picked up a Clipboard using my magic as a light purple filled the room along with the orange warning light and waited for the door to open.
Breathing heavily I never took my eyes off the door being as quite as I can I slowly walked forward, that's when I heard a ticking sound.
Tick... tick... tick... Boom!, as if it happened almost instantly the door to the room I was in exploded and I went flying to the back of the room bits of metal flying everywhere some of it hitting my skin, Blood trickled out of the wounds that the metal created.
Trying to stay up from the explosion I lifted my head up to the blown out door as the ponies with odd looking spiked armour and dirty fur walked in "Boom Boom maggot." one of them said, her voice all gritty and blocked by sickness.
I used my magic to throw the clipboard forcefully at her which it didn't do any damage to her, so quickly I thought of one last thing charge at her which I did boy was I wrong in doing so.
Click... Boom I feel my right hind leg was on fire, I fall forwards in pain the pony behind her carrying a double barrelled shot gun just shot my leg, I cried out in pain trying my best to stop any more bleeding but it was useless with hooves and no other cloth or material to apply to the wound.
I looked up to the two ponies who were in front of me was this the end of Shadtrax, NO! I said in my mind I summed up the strength I had left in my body to use my magic to grab the female ponies weapon and point it at them.
They both laughed the mare spoke out "hehehe What are you going to do Stable dweller shoot us hahahaha", the pony next to her burst out laughing.
"Oh please don't shoot us we're totally innocent" the stallion said before returning to laughing loudly, Looking at the stallion I moved the levitating gun to him and fired in his crotch area he fell backwards crying out in pain covering his crotch with his hooves.
I moved the gun to the mare and loaded the next bullet in to place from the magazine "you were saying" I said before firing the gun right in to the mares face, blood and brain sprayed everywhere on me, on the pod, the broken door even on the ball-less stallion.
Limping over the injured stallion I opened the up the lockers to get the objects inside, once I got them I went over to the injured stallion "Give me what you have and I may spare you".
Looking at me the stallion moved for his gun so I shot him point blank in the face, scavenged all the stuff the two ponies had on them till I remembered I had an injured leg and fell to the floor "Ssssssshit I going to need to bandage this up if I want to walk on it."
I looked around for any cloth but the only cloth I had was from the two ponies but it was all dirty and had what looked to be green blood that smelt like somepony threw up in a radioactive vat of ooze, but it'll have to do for now.
I bandaged up my injured leg with the cloth shuddering as I felt it tightening from my magic, looking at my handy work I then looked at the stuff I looted from the two ponies and the lockers, Hmmmmmm I thought looking at the stuff.
putting on the Stable security armour which to be honest was tight round the hind legs but I was big in height that is, I got the loot well I should say my gear together and I walked towards the open Stable door looking upwards to see a black blast mark where the inner key to the door would have been.
Taking my first step out from the cold metal floor of the Stable onto the cool dirt ground of the cave tunnel leading to Equestria, well what would have been the last of it from the Megaspells but I wouldn't know unless I press forward.
Getting to the entrance to the cave I heard more voices gritty and raspy like the two ponies I killed, Carefully getting out the gun I used to kill the two ponies I took a deep breath and opened the door but I was so mistaken what sounded like 3 ponies turned out to be 15 all wearing the same armour as the two ponies that I killed back in the Stable, the outside of the cave looked odd instead of blue skies it was grey no vegetation nothing just blacks, greys and browns well dark colours, My jaw dropped upon seeing it.
Thoughts flowed through my head as I backed away hoping I wasn't seen, "Well lookie what we have here Raiders" I heard on of the ponies speak aloud "We have a cleanie" oh Sweet Luna's love I was spotted.
I slammed the cave door shut as the ponies which that pony called Raiders opened fire upon me rattattat here and there bullet holes showing up in the door as splinters flew everywhere, checking the magazine from the gun I had levitating beside me I placed the gun to one of the bullet holes and opened fire hoping I hit them.
Once the magazine had been emptied I opened the door to see all the ponies called Raiders were on the dirt ground injured some were dead others were holding on to the rest of their lives blood oozing on to the soil and seeping into the ground making it damp, finishing off the rest of them using they're own weapons I took what was in good condition and what looked good enough to salvage and I took it.
"Well out of the Stable and off to find Princess luna" I said aloud that is until I hear a gun shot and I fall to the ground in more pain then ever looking behind me one of the raider ponies had a hidden gun in her hoof and she shot me in the same right hind leg where the bandage was, let me say but "OUCH!".
The Raider pony then died of blood loss and I was on the ground with another bullet hole in my leg "Well shit, 3 minutes out of the Stable and I already get a crippled leg" I tried my best to get to my hooves and started walking forward hoping I find some friendlies instead of these violent ponies.
I walked through the wasteland. The light, cloudy sky looked down upon me as I staggered along dragging my injured hind leg along in the dirt, "Dham this leg. I got to find some medical supplies soon or I'm gonna bleed to death and yet Canterlot is in the opposite direction." I sighed heavily, looking around me to see any signs of life but nothing, just endless hills of nothing.
Dead trees did nothing to help either.
As I continued walking forward I tripped on a rock and was sent tumbling down a hill hitting every rock and dead branch that littered the mountain, landing with a loud thud, all the air inside of me got knocked out of me causing my eyes to bulge and for me to hit my chest with my hooves.
Cuts, bruises, and scuffs I stood up breathing in heavily to catch my breath back from the tumble. Doing my best to get some of the dirt off me I heard a beeping sound coming from my Pip-Buck.
Looking at my Pip-Buck I saw a green arrow in the middle to which I guessed which was me and 12 red dots circling me I quickly looked around me.
Seeing nothing I look back to my Pip-Buck and see the red dots are almost on top of me. "Where the fuck are they?" I see them on my Pip-Buck but not around me.
Suddenly, 11 odd looking creatures erupt from the dusty wastes. They appear to be giant ants but ants are small little things not these huge things.
The dark, murky red ants crawled up closer and closer towards me.
Looking at my Pip-Buck I see it has brought up what these ants are called; and hey, they are actually called Giant Fire Ants. Go figure! Waiting for them to do something, I looked at all of them trying to keep an eye on all 11 of them. But wait, 11? Where's the twelfth? It says 12 enimes but all I see is 11.
I start to smell smoke.
Fire? How can fire live when there's no fuel? I look over my shoulder to see my tail smouldering.
One of the fire ants having caught it with a glancing blow from a ball of their flaming spit.
At that moment I finally understood what has happened.
When the megaspell hit, as well as killing and destroying everything in Equestria it has mutated the inscects and animals.
However, it didn't explain why those other ponies from before had survived and free from mutation.
Thinking hard I shook my head. No time to hang around. I need to get out of here.
Managing a lop-sided jump with my injured leg over the ants, I made a get away straight ahead, hoping what speed I could manage would put the ants off from following me.
Looking back at them I snorted. "I had to open my big idea hadn't I."
However turning back to get out of there I slammed on the brakes.
Sharply skidding to a halt as the ground in front of me opened up and a even bigger ant, bigger then the ones chasing me, rose from the hole.
Frozen in fear, simply staring at the other ants had caught up, crowded behind me but I didn't realise until I felt one of them bite me.
It snapped me from my petrified state and I scrambled and relaunched myself into a run.
Darting, changing direction to avoid the ants scattering to try and surround me again.
Trying to run as fast as I could, my leg slowed me down and falling over again I looked up at the ants closing in on me.
If my leg wasnt injured, I thought, I'd give all of you a.. wait a minute, I have a gun in my saddle.
Using my magic I brought the gun out, checked the magazine for ammo and shit, there was no ammo in the magazine.
I cursed really loudly as I switched to using my magic to pick up rocks and stones to throw at the ants to keeping them at bay.
One of the ants got too close as it crawled up to me and was about to bite me when a gunshot sounded and the ant's head exploded.
Tiny bits of debris splattering everywhere.
The suddenness halted the other ants and they and I looked around.
I shouted out "Where are you?" but my cry was drowned out by a furthermore sucession of shots and 10 more of the giant fire ants died dropping to the ground almost instantly from the imapcts.
The bigger ant was left looking at the destruction of its minions.
I take advantage of the pause to glance at my Pip-Buck to see if my saviour was around.
The screen showed three symbols; the red dot signifying the enormous fire ant Queen, me represented by a green arrow and I see another green arrow, "A friendly." I said, quietly relieved but brought back in a rush with the realisation the Ant Queen was still ahead of me when 5 more shots were heard, each one a millisecond before the sharp jerk and following exploding matter thrown into the air before the ant queen fell to the dusty ground with force enough to feel it under my hooves.
I slumped to the ground in relief.
A voice called out "Hey! Mister! You OK there?"
Getting up I looked around the wastes trying to see where the voice was coming from.
My senses still heightened from the adrenalin left pumping through my body.
Thats when I heard a steady, light, flapping sound and looked up behind me to see a earth pony walking down from a cluster of rocks.
The earth pony walked up to me, It had a violet fur coat, Purple mane and tail and a brass robotic hind left leg.
The dark patina on it not stopping the metal glinting as the joints moved.
As she walked up to me she looked at my injured leg "You know you're not going to survive long with that. Come with me if you want to live." she said in a soft, cheerful voice.
A voice that warms the heart on a cold winters day.
Getting close up to me she used one of her wings to steady me as I struggled and stumbled to stand up. Gritting my teeth from the pain now, I hopped along using her as a crutch.
"What brings you out to the wastelands stranger?, From the looks of things, you came out from one of those Stables?" she asked taking a quick glimpse at my face.
"Yes. I am from a Stable. And to answer your second question I don't know I was awoken by ponies invading my Stable they smelt like a dozen deaths" I replied winching with each step I took.
We arrived to a run down garage which had been kitted out with a sign saying 'Tess's R & R' the windows have been boarded up, a broken Sparkle Coal machine with a fix it note attached to it, the red and yellow paint had been weathered a lot, a few feet away from the entrance to the building are 3 graves one large and 2 small.
"Here we are mister my humble little home it isn't much but I find it useful for my repair job" The mare said opening the door and helping me in through the rusty door way and on to the cold stone floor littered with papers and empty Sparkle Cola bottles, around the room were different machines of all shapes and sizes.
Each one had a different weapon some of them I haven't seen before but yet odd looking, glancing over to the other side of the room a bed and big crates of ammo and weapon mods "It's a bit cramped in here but I see your fine with it with being a pegasi, so I'm guessing your called Tess?".
"Sure am Mister my full name is Tesla Rae but Tess for short best mechanic and medical mare in the New Manehatten out-skirts." placing her weapon up on a shelf and closing the door to the said shelf and picking up goggles that rested on one of the machines, looking at me she directed a hoof a door almost hidden from a big drilling machine. "I'll fix that leg of yours, if you'll let me of course"
Looking at my leg then the door then at Tess and I sighed "What choice do I have as you said I wont live long with the injury, oh I'm being rude my name is Shadtrax, Shadtrax Skr.".
limping over to the door Tess opened it and upon entering it I could already see highly technical medical equipment, looking to the left a single bed with a few blood stains that had dried and started to flake the smell was unbearable horrible it was like foal nappies vomit and rotting flesh had been thrown around in here looking at Tess with a disgust look.
"You heal ponies in this messy hell hole heck I was raised in Canterlot for crying out loud, but with Equestria how it is what choice do I have" walking over to the bed I flopped on to it resting my muzzle and neck on the pillows, so soft like resting on a bed of clouds but yet dirty.
Tess walked over carrying a bag in her mouth placing it on to the ground and opening it inside are medical supplies "right lets tend to that leg of yours" taking out a bandage cutter Tess cut open the bandage that was round my hind leg, still bleeding Tess went to work fixing up the injury.
A couple of minutes later Tess finished fixing up my hind leg "I advice you not to put to much strain on it so best stay off it for 3 weeks." she said packing up the tools and putting the bag away "Hey err Tess can I ask you a question?" I asked looking at her handy work moving my hind leg up and down to move the joint so I know where to bend it when walking "Sure thing ask away Mister Skr." Getting down off the bed I walked in to the machine room where Tess walked in to when she put the bag away "What are those graves out there did you lose someponies close to you?".
Tess didn't answer for a second "I don't want to talk about it" she muttered walking over to a machine putting the googles over her eyes and started to work on the weapon that was there suddenly it just clicked in me; how did Tess know I was from a Stable walking over to her I asked "Hey Tess how did you know that I was from a Stable?" She giggled a bit glancing at me then pointing to my Pip-Buck "oh" I mentioned, looking at it I walked to a chair in one of the corners in the room and looked at my Pip-buck looking through each section carefully all empty till I got to the Misc section which had one thing stored on it.
It was a holodisk named your mission by Princess Luna, eyes widening I quickly selected it and listened to it "Data log Zero Zero One Princess Luna speaking: To Shadtrax I'm creating this message to tell you that it is your mission to bring hope back to Equestria. By the time you hear this message I shall be dead but hidden at my grave shall be three objects: First one is my Flag you are now the new leader of the New Lunar Republic use your leadership wisely, Second is my Sword it is now yours I wish you luck and finally the last one is a A.I chip with a 100% copy of my Brain pattern on it, it will act, behave and sound like me but it won't be the same as me. My grave is located in the highest tower in Canterlot its up to you to make Equestria Bloom once again, good luck young one and be careful out there what ever the Megaspell has done." the Message ended looking at my Pip-buck closely I didn't see the group of ponies enter the building until one of them locked the door to which I looked up.
The lead pony spoke first "Hehehehe look at this boys the little mare hasn't got our weapons built I guess we have to teach her a lesion just like her Hubby wubby and those little bastards she had" her voice was like the pony that was in my stable but worse her followers laughed until one of them looked in my direction and stopped, one by one each pony stopped and looked at me only the lead pony was laughing.
when she realised his followers aren't laughing with her "Why aren't you laughing with me fools or do you want me to gut your hearts out" one of them pointed to me, walking towards me the lead pony chuckled "Do you think you can take me down, me queen of the Reapers hehehe fool" Glaring at her I stayed silent.
Laughing as she turned his back I used my magic to pick up a screwdriver and forced it in to her rear taking it out I did the same to her left hind leg, falling to the ground in pain I walked over to her and placed a fore hoof on her neck.
"Rule one never intimidate a pony from the pre war days, Rule two I was taught by the Alicorn Sisters and Rule three I am more of a solider then you" I said slamming a hoof on to her neck when I said each rule Tess and the other Reapers looking shocked at how strong I was due to how slim I looked "Oh I forgot I am a Halfling" slamming a hoof on to her neck again, glancing over to the other Reapers showing my fangs as I growled.
Not being scared the other Reapers charged at me dodging each swing of a hoof they bored at me I returned with punching in the neck or using the screwdriver to stab they're hind legs, with all of them on the ground I dropped the screwdriver panting looking at Tess who hid behind one of the machines "you ok Tess" I asked as the Reapers got up ran past me opened the door and ran out their leader not far behind them "One day you fucking freak one day we will get our revenge" and they ran off into the night.
Tess came out of hiding "Thanks for that they have been bugging me since my late husband left their gang" my eyes widen "Wait your late husband was with them but why did they kill him and not you?" Tess sighed "I'm the only one with medical experience and the know how on weapons and pre-war Tech" "and the two smaller..." Tess cuts me off what I'm going to say "are my babies, those god damn fucking Reapers murdered my husband and foals!" Tess fell to the floor crying the messy floor getting coated in her tears.
Walking over to her I sat down and rapped a hoof round her "I'm not blaming you Shadtrax but I can't stay here now, they'll sure to come here and kill me" Looking at her then to the blood from the Reapers; had the world come to this after a war which ended with a Nukeilar fall out comes to more War, Pestilence, Famine, Death and Chaos.
Looking at my Pip-buck again I played the recording again this time Tess heard it, after the recording had finished Tess looked up at me "Your going to Canterlot but that place is heavily iradiated Ghouls prowl the streets and not to mention Radscorpions, atleast let me acompany you." looking at her in surprise I replied "you sure, you said it your self the place is heavily iradiated an..." She cut me off before i can finish my sentence "Theres nothing left for me here all what be waiting for me now is death and your not going to last more than 2 days out there with out my help plus, theres a nother message on your Pip-buck there".
Eyes widening and with a surpriesed voice "How do you know its a Pip-buck, wait your from one of the other stables aren't you" Nodding in agreement Tess walked over to one of the lockers opened it and inside was a Stable Maintance uniform. "Ok but are you sure you want to come with me?"
Tess nodded again and i looked at my Pip-buck again and played the second message "Data log 001 additional Shadtrax its also important you make some friends" message ends, looking at my Pip-buck again i sighed and went to search my saddle bag which i left in the medical room if that it was called and took out the gun and empty magazines "hey er Tess you dont have any ammo laying about do you?" Tess walked in carrying on her wings two boxes of ammo "Take your pick".
Looking at the ammo i found the type i needed 10mag rounds an loaded them in to my weapon putting the rest of the ammo in my saddle bag along with my gun i walked in to the min room and tryed to look for a weapon that was 100% built, finding 3 of them was better to my luck then entering this world Maybe.
Tess came to me with her stuff in her saddle bags "Ready when you are" getting my saddle bag on i walked to the door of the building "well to a different life" i spoke opening the door and stepping outside in to the wastes for a second time.
Trotting along towards Canterlot Tess was telling me about the other dangers of the Equestrian wasteland "The worst thing is coming towards a nuke creater Radiation goes off the charts, like over 20Rads" Looking over to might right my Pip-buck begins to beep again, looking at it I see my and Tess's green arrows but there is 3 red dots surrounding a another an amber line; that's odd I thought "What is it?" Tess asked looking at me "Somepony is in trouble over that ridge" pointing to a small Soil dune.
Looking over the dune we see a young colt being surrounded by radscorpions the cries of the colt were sad and emotional screaming "MOMMY MOMMY!" with fear and horror driving me I looked at Tess "we got to help him" before she could reply I charged down the dune and straight to the radscorpions, bring out my magnum I started to fire upon the radscorpions Tess not far behind with her rifle.
Killing one of the radscorpions I charged in picking up the colt in my magic and pulling him to safety before the other two radscorpions knew what was going on, shooting the second radscorpion Tess took care of the third.
Once they were completely dead I set the cold down and with a bit of clean cloth I managed to find at Tess's home I wiped the colts tears away "where's your mother little one?" I asked, the colt whipped his muzzle with a hoof and in a fearful tone of voice spoke "I-I don't know I lost her please all i want is my Mommy" beginning to cry again the colt rapped his fore hoofs round me hugging me tightly "Come come now little one no need to cry lets find your mother together shall we" I patted the colts back to reassure him.
Using my magic I lifted the colt on to my back and started to walk forward not in the direction of Canterlot but in the direction of a small village I noticed on my Pip-buck "We'll take this little one home Tess then we will get back getting to Canterlot.
Reaching the village all the ponies that we're there gave me weird glances "has anypony lost a colt?" I spoke out, a unicorn mare stepped forward towards me worry in her voice showed me she was a mother "yes I did have you found my little baby?" using my magic I lifted the colt of my back and on to the ground.
The mare's eyes filled with tears of joy as she and her son hugged liked they haven't seen each other for years, smiling I turned to leave when the mare called out "would you like to stay for dinner and maybe the night?" looking back to her I waved a hoof "Thank you for the offer but no thanks" all the other villagers pleaded one of them said " oh come on please it's not everyday we have new ponies visit" "Yea and its not offen a stranger saves our mayors son" another spoke.
Tess looked at me "Well it is for tonight Shadtrax we cant turn down an offer like that" sighing I excepted the offer and all the village ponies cheered, before I could take a step forward a gunshot fired up in the air and all the villages hid scared of the gun shot looking behind me a group of ponies walked in to the village each one with a different style of spiked armour and style of mane by the looks of them they look like trouble.
Getting close now one of them spitted in my face and laughed as he walked past me I was about to draw my weapon when Tess stopped me and shook her head "Not if you want these innocent ponies to die" cancelling my magic I continued to glare at the ponies.
"Give us all you have Food, weapons, booze everything" one of them said "and maybe we wont harm your little head" looking at the mayor and placing a thilthy hoof to her chin, with a worried sigh she complied telling the other villages to do so.
Through my mind all I could think of was these rading ponies terrorising the innocent ones thats when I was snapped out of my thoughts to see one of the rading ponies her body is covered in scars and her face was covered in bandages all I could see was her mouth eyes and two holes for her nose, her mane was cut way down to the scalp but her tail was mingled with barbed wire walking to a small filly no more than five years of age "Hey pipsqueak!" the mare said standing over the filly and licking her lips.
The bandages getting wet from the mares saliver "D-don't hurt me please!" the filly said shivering and trying to curl up into the smallest ball she can get herself into her violet mane hiding her magenta eyes and her lime green coat getting soaked by her own tears and the raider mare's saliver "Hurt you ha you got that right, your going to me my play thing that I get to do with as I want".
As the rader mare laughed I couldn't hold it in anymore shaking with anger Tess saw something in my eyes that didn't look right, walking up to the rader mare turned and kicked her right in the muzzle sending her flying all the other raiding ponies looked at me as well as the town folk.
The leader of the raider ponies walked up to me smirking "You have no idea what you got yourself into, you have chosen the wrong gang to mess with" he was just about to puch me till i bloaked it "No its you who has chosen the wrong stallion to mess with for i am no mere stallion, I AM A CROSSBREED!" the town went silent and the gang leader walked backwards and laughed the other gang members laughed too.
"You asked for it." with a glow of my horn green flames engulphed me, all the ponies stared in fear and surpiesment my entier body is now scales my front hooves are claws I have longer fangs and now I have fur patches on both eyes.
My height increesed by 2ft and my voice turned demonic "Which one of you mother fuckers wants to have their heads torn off " my eyes are glowing a deep purple causing fear to rush through everypony round me "no then I suggest that you and your gang get out of here and never return if I found out that any of these ponies gets hurt in any way you will be no more"
I took a deep breath and road at the top of my lungs as the Gang ponies ran for their lives some of them slipping on the way out of the town, taking a big exhail I turned back to normal the filly that had been curled up walked up to me and said "T-thank you mister" huged me and ran off to her parents which embraced her.
The mayor walked up to me "So your a Crossbreed are you" she said in a blank tone turning my head to her i replyed "yes i am, and by the look on your face i take it you seen more of my kind" "yes we have but for some reason your different to those ones you seem gentle kind and warming"
"Listen im just came in to the wasteland i dont know much about this place or the dangers only that some ponies have gone crazy slaving you ponies and these mutated creatures, do you have anything that can survive radiation" i said looking round to see that everypony was going back to their busness and Tess was talking to a blacksmith "I think we might have some Radaway and some Rad-X somewhere why where you going?" the mayor replied with a curious look on her face.
"I can't tell you everything but i need to get to Canterlot" The mayor stood still her eye twitching "did you say Canterlot? why on Equestrias name would you want to go there?"
"All you need to know is that I need to get there" I said as the mayor pointed to a pink sphere up in the mountain range " there's Canterlot for you" and she walked off to tend to some of the villagers, Tess walked up to me "so your a crossbreed are you?" I nod as an answer to her question "That is awesome, creepy but awesome."
Once me and Terra were stocked up on supplies since when we started we didn't have much and made our way in the direction to Canterlot, facing different small mutated creatures along the way
