Tirek has returned! So who is sent to confronted but a certain Night Fury and Viking.
When an old enemy returns to Equestria, the Princesses call upon one duo that could be their only hope. and who's the lucky duo? Hiccup and Toothless. Now the Viking and Night Fury will have to use their best efforts and the Magic of Friendship to battle the most dangerous being in all of Equestria, Tirek!
It was another peaceful day in the royal city of Canterlot. And Princess Celestia had just finished with another daily meeting. She didn't really mind these meetings, but they often were quite tiring, especially when they took 3 hours long. But she was looking forward to having a short rest, and maybe enjoy a slice of cake as well. Or, at least, that's what she wanted.
"Your Highness! Your Highness!" shouted a voice from behind Celestia. Looking back, she saw it was Golden Shield one of the top Royal Guards. And it looked like he had just seen a ghost. He stopped just a few inches from her and got onto his knees as he removed his helmet.
"Golden Shield? What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost!" Celestia replied as she turned to look at him. "Your highness, I have terrible news. He has returned!" Golden Shield said, catching his breath, Celestia looked shocked at hearing his words and a small hint of fear shivered down her spine.
"You don't mean..."
"Yes! Tirek is free once more!" exclaimed Golden Shield. He really looked like he would just faint dead on the spot, but he remained civil for the Princess. " Some of the men just spotted him just outside of Appleloosa, while they were out on patrol!"
Celestia was terrified! She knew how dangerous Tirek was. But he was back? She already had been sent to the horrid prison once before by that fiend, along with her sister and niece. She could still feel the coldness of the hill they were on. And it took her 2 weeks just to recover from it! She didn't wanna go back! But she knew they would have to battle Tirek once more. However, how could they do it? Tirek could only use their own magic against them and he almost won the last time he returned! Celestia thought hard, but nothing was coming to her. Tirek could come to the castle once more for revenge, but not to just her, but to Twilight as well! She didn't want that to happen again, for Tirek to appear in the brick of night, she.... Her eyes sprung open as a thought came to her. She got an idea. A wonderful idea!
"It's perfect! Why didn't I think of it before?" she thought to herself, she then turned to Golden Shield. "Send for Twilight Sparkle at once!"
"Yes, your majesty!" replied, Golden Shield, as he put his helmet back on and raced off.
"Sister?" Said another voice, Celestia looked back and saw Luna standing a few feet away from her. "Please tell me, what I just heard is a joke!" stated Luna, a hint of fear in her voice.
"I'm afraid not, Tirek has returned once more." Celestia answered.
"NO!! NO!! HE COULDN'T HAVE!!! WE SHALL NOT GET THROWN IN TARTARUS ONCE MORE!! WE DON'T BELOW IN THAT HORRID PLACE!!!" Luna shouted in the Royal Canterlot voice. she then looked back at her elder sister and regained herself. "Sorry, Tia. It's just that, Tirek has sent us to Tartarus in revenge last time he came, and I don't wanna go there again. Especially with the fact I spent 1,000 years on the moon!" Luna apologized, a tear streaming down her cheek. Celestia then placed her wing on her younger sibling.
" I know. and I don't want to be sent there as mush as you do. and I imagine the same for Cadance. But I believe I might've figured out a way to defeat him."
"You have? tell me, what is your idea?" asked Luna.
"You will find out when Twilight arrives here." answered Celestia. Luna was shocked, but she nodded.

It had taken Twilight at least a 45 minutes to arrive in Canterlot. But she was glad to arrive and soon she was with Celestia and Luna in the royal library.
"So, what is your plan for taking on Tirek now?" asked Twilight, like Luna, she too was curious to know what Celestia had planned this time.
"As you know, Tirek will only use our own magic against us. And I won't be sending Discord like I foolishly did before. But I believe I might know of one being that could possible defeat Tirek for good." Celestia shared, pacing the room.
"And who is the said being, Tia? who is powerful enough to take on someone very powerful like Tirek?" Luna asked anxiously. Celestia turned and looked at Twilight and Luna with a smug smile.
"A Night Fury." answered Celestia.
"A Night Fury?" said Twilight, confused. "But there aren't any Night Furies in Equestria! Or at least they stay there isn't." Said Twilight.
"No. But there is one living in the Isle of Berk." said Celestia.
"Tia, are thou suggesting we send for them?" asked Luna. "It is a good idea I admit. But how exactly, could they be help to us?"
"Well, from what we've heard, that Night Fury has taken on a Red Death and a Bewilderbeast. And though the battle, he won. And Night furies don't use magic. So if that Night Fury can defeat a Red Death and A Bewilderbeast, then he can defeat Tirek!" Celestia explained.
Twilight and Luna looked at Celestia for a moment and then smiled as well. "Sister, that is a great idea. How soon should we send a help request?" said Luna.
"We must do it immediately, we can't buy Tirek time to go through all of Equestria. I have a letter written, and ready to go. Celestia said, as she showed the scroll.
"Then let's send it now!" stated Twilight. Celestia nodded and with a light of her horn the letter disappeared instantly, and all they could do now was wait.
It was another fine day in the Isle of Berk for the vikings. And another dragon race race was in action once again. As the black sheep was launched into the air, Astrid and Stormfly had almost caught it, when a black blur flew past them and grabbed it. Astrid could only smile as she knew who it was. Toothless flew as hard as he could as Hiccup held onto the sheep and then threw it into their points box, as they won the race.
"Great job, Bud." commented hiccup as he patted Toothless' head. In which Toothless licked him. "Hey, come on, bud! You know that doesn't wash out!" exclaimed Hiccup as he starts to wipe off the Night Fury saliva from his suit. Then a pair of arms wrapped around his neck as a familiar Viking gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Another great race, Babe." said Astrid as she playfully punches Hiccup's shoulder.
"Well, you have to admit, you really gave me the slip at some points in the race.' Hiccup replied. Just then, with a "Poof!" a royal scroll materialized before them and floated down towards Hiccup. "Huh, what's this?" asked Hiccup as he opened the scroll as Astrid looked over his shoulder to see what the letter said too.
"Dear, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock The III, Sorry to interrupt you from anything important, but we need you and Toothless to come to Equestria right away. We need your help. It is a matter of life or death that could mean eternal doom to Equestria. So please, come to Equestria right away. Signed, Princess Celestia.
"A matter of Life or Death? That can't be good." said Hiccup.
"Yeah, if I were you, I'd get going right away. There's no telling what it could be, but it'd be better to get there before things get worse." Astrid added. Hiccup thought for a moment, a part of him didn't want to do it, but the rest of him knew it was the right thing to do.
"You're right. Come on, bud! We're going to Equestria!" stated Hiccup as he hopped on Toothless. Just as he did, Astrid hugged him.
"Be careful, I don't wanna lose you." said Astrid.
"I will, and I will return. You'll see." replied to Hiccup. Then Toothless spread his wings and took to the skies. And they were on their way to Equestria.

After some time of flying, Toothless descended from the sky and landed in the courtyard of Canterlot castle. As 2 Royal Guards stepped forward.
"Right this way, Chief Hiccup, the Princess has been expecting you." said of one the Royal Guards. Hiccup nodded as he and Toothless were escorted into the castle. And then into the main castle library.
"Ah, Hiccup. We've been expecting you." said Celestia as she stepped forward.
"Yeah, I received your letter just a few minutes ago. What's wrong?" Hiccup asked, he wasn't sure what the trouble was, but with how Celestia looked, it was something, very, very bad.
"Old an enemy of ours has returned, a evil centaur named Tirek. He got out of Tartarus once before and he almost took over Equestria. But he's managed to escape once more. and we can't fight him, due to him being able to use our own magic against us. So after some thought, we find that you and Toothless might be the ones who can defeat him for good." Celestia explained, Hiccup was slightly shocked, he had heard stories of Tirek before, but he was back? Man taking over Equestria was one thing, but what if he had also tried to take over Berk as well? Wait a minute, there would be no way Tirek could ever get ten feet into Berk. Not without being incinerated by all the dragons. But that wasn't important now, Princess Celestia had asked him and Toothless to help them stop Tirek before he took over Equestria again. Now, if Hiccup were just some random guy from the street, he wouldn't of agreed right away, but as a Viking, Dragon Master, and the current Cheif of Berk; he would step up to the challenge. Like Stoick the vast, his father would before him.
"Alright, I accept. So what is the plan for now?" said Hiccup.
"We can't have you fight Tirek in one of the towns, he already destroyed most of Ponyville last time he was hear. So You must battle him in outside the Everfree Forest. He is already being lured there as we speak, as he heads there, you and Toothless will fly in and then that's when you will battle Tirek. Then the fight will be your own." Explained, Luna.
"Alright, me and Toothless will head there right now." stated Hiccup, just as he jumped into the saddle on Toothless.
"Hiccup, don't restrain any bit. Use all your force, Tirek won't go down easy! Twilight added, Hiccup nodded and he and Toothless flew out of the castle and headed straight for the Everfree Forest's outskirts. He and Toothless were on their way to the ultimate challenge of their life.
Tirek had never felt so free before! Sure, he did spend time in Tartarus once again, but he was once again free. And not only would he get vengeance on the Princesses, but he'd also get revenge on Twilight Sparkle. Actually, Twilight Sparkle was his first target! The very one who had ruined his plans for revenge! but he wasn't gonna send her to Tartarus. No, he was gonna kill her! And he knew just where to find her, Ponyville. Infact, he was almost to the forest just outside of Ponyville.
"That stupid equine will regret he ever tried to take me on! She will pay! Big time! And so will those stupid alicorns! I will be ruler of this kingdom and then I will overthrow my so-called-father when I finish!" thundered Tirek, but as he approached the woods, he though he heard the sound of a ballistic whistle. But his thoughts were interrupted as a blue fireball appeared from behind him and struck his back! He stumbled slightly and yelled in pain after the fireball struck him. He looked around to see what had hit him but nothing was there.
"TIREK!!!" shouted a voice. Tirek looked around again. "TIREK!!!! I'M CALLING YOU OUT!!! TIREK!!!" as Tirek looked around again he then saw a black figure approaching him at full speed, he then warmed up a blast of magic but before he could finish, another blue fireball struck him in the chest causing him to fall back. He looked up again to see a black dragon fly over him.
"What the?" Tirek was confused, he hadn't seen a black dragon like that one before, but what was on the dragon really shocked him, it looked like a hairless Primate. Tirek then recalled of legends of Humans but he never thought they actually existed! But this was something strange, a human riding a dragon? but his thought process was interrupted again when another blue fireball struck him in the side of his abdomen. The Black dragon swooped around him as the rider called out.
"Sorry to drop in like this! But I can't let you harm my friends!" shouted Hiccup as he and Toothless flew around Tirek.
"You foolish being, you really think you and your dragon can stop me? I am the all powerful Tirek! Nothing can stop!" Tirek shouted in return, a hint of pride in his voice.
"Well, let's just see how you are against a Night Fury!" shouted Hiccup in return as he and Toothless flew higher, Tirek then started firing blasts of magic at them, but Toothless easily avoided each one. Not matter what Tirek tried, the Night Fury was just too fast for him.
"It's gonna take more then fancy moves to get me!" shouted Tirek as he continued firing magic. Toothless and Hiccup then flew into a cloud. "You can't hide forever! Come out and fight!" Then Toothless flew out from the cloud upside-down, but Hiccup wasn't in his saddle! "Huh? Where'd that scrawny human go?"
"Here, try some of this!" shouted Hiccup. Tirek looked around but then noticed green gas floating in front of him. Hiccup had deployed his gliding suit and was surrounding Tirek with Zippleback gas. "Time to light this freak!" H then ignites the Zippleback gas, which explodes, sending Tirek flying upward and then he hits the ground with a load thump. Hiccup glided back to Toothless and re hooked himself into the saddle. "Alright Bud, let's show Tirek what a Night Fury is made of!" Toothless growled in response and then flew back around and straight for Tirek. Toothless then fired 3 plasma blasts at Tirek, which stuck Tirek in the chest.
Tirek growled in fury and fired blasts of magic, but Toothless avoided each one and flew around Tirek, and fired Plasma blast after plasma blast. Striking Tirek at different angles, Tirek tried hard to blast them, but Toothless was too quick for him. "Come on! is that the best you can do, you stupid monkey horse?!" shouted Hiccup as Toothless roared.
"MONKEY HORSE?! YOU ARE DEAD!!!" Thunder Tirek as he fired anther blast of magic at them, which did partly hit Toothless' tail, a part of his prosthetic tail being partly damaged.
"Alright, let's try something else, bud!" Hiccup stated as they circled Tirek, looking for a weak spot of some kind. Then Hiccup noticed something. Everytime Tirek warmed up a blast of magic, the orb was slowly building up before he fired. Then it gave him an idea. "I've got it! Come on bud, time to end this monster!" shouted Hiccup. Toothless nodded and they flew head on straight for Tirek.
"Now, this ends for you!" shouted Tirek. But Hiccup was prepared for this. "Hold Toothless." He then waited for the right moment and then watched as the orb of magic started to build up. "NOW!!" shouted Hiccup. Toothless then flew straight for Tirek's head, in between his horns and then fired a giant plasma blast. The blast struck the orb of magic which exploded on impact!
"GAH!!!!!!" yelled Tirek in pain as he flew backwards and then into a cliff side. After he regained himself he then looked to his head and gasped. His horns and the white hair, and a bit of his head was scorched clean off! "No!! NO!! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!"
"No, it isn't! You're up against a Night Fury, Tirek! And they are the most deadly dragon ever! They can even defeat a Red Death and Bewilderbeast! But now, this one is gonna defeat a centaur!" shouted Hiccup. Toothless charged straight for Tirek and then fire over last plasma blast he could muster and he closed in on Tirek. Tirek then started to warm up more magic, but this was a mistake Toothless the dive bombed for his head and fired the strongest plasma blast ever .
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" shouted Tirek as the plasma blast struck the magic orb above his head and exploded! The explosion was so intense it sent a fireball outward. Toothless shielded Hiccup as they flew into the fiery inferno and were engulfed by the flames.
After a few minutes the explosion happened, the Princesses and Twilight had come to the battle site, only to find a big cloud of smoke in place. They then began to think the worse.
"Hiccup! Hiccup! Where are you!?" called out Twilight. but there was no response. Then the rest of Twilight's friends as well as the Cutie Mark Crusaders came into view to find out what the explosion was. But when they heard Hiccup was involved in it, they began to worry. A minute pasted, and there was still no sign of anyone. And the group began to assume the worse, and tears came to their eyes.
"Poor Hiccup and Toothless." Luna sadly said.
"They saved our home, I just don't know how to break it to the rest of Berk, that they lost their chief." Celestia sadly added, soon all of the ponies began to slowly tear up and mildly tear up. But then there were footsteps heard and Scootaloo could see something faintly in the smoke cloud.
"Look!" exclaimed Scootaloo, pointing a hoof to the fog. Everyone then took a look and saw something approaching, the Princesses braced for a possible attack, but from the shadows emerge Hiccup and Toothless!
"It's all over, Tirek will never bring harm to anyone of Equestria ever again." said Hiccup, feeling proud of himself. Then the smoke cloud cleared and there was nothing there but a dark silhouette of what would've been Tirek, but he wasn't there! The evil power hungry centaur was gone! Toothless and Hiccup had done it! They had defeated the one being that would rein eternal doom in Equestria. Soon they all cheered and they all went back to Canterlot.

"Citizens of Equestria, today an old enemy returned to try and seek vengeance upon us all, but thanks to the Chief of Berk and his Night Fury, Tirek has been defeated for good! And we are at peace once more!" Celestia announced to all of the Equines as she stand on the platform, then Hiccup and Toothless stepped forward as the crowd cheered.
"Thank you, everyone. Let me just say, I know that this act was a really big deal to you all, but to me and Toothless it was just another adventure. But sadly I must return to Berk, but I will come back once more." said Hiccup as he hopped onto Toothless' saddle. "For now, I bid you all farewell."
Toothless then took to the skies as the crowd cheered once more. "Farewell, Dragon Master. And Great Warrior" said Twilight, as she waved good bye to them.
