Lost In Your Eyes
Twilight stepped through the portal into the human world for her first official date with her new girlfriend Sunset Shimmer. She was so excited to see Sunset that she couldn’t stop shaking. Twilight stepped out of the portal and looked at her attire, it was the usual clothes the portal gave her, a simple button up shirt with a purple skirt and knee high boots. This won’t do. She thought to herself and looked at the clock above the school entrance. It’s midday now, I’ve got five hours. Twilight brought a hand to her chin in contemplation. Rarity of course, she can give me my dress from the Fall Formal. She thought as she snapped her fingers in glee.

Rarity stood in her parents boutique sorting out a new dress that she was designing for Applejack. “Blue maybe, no that’s not her color,” she said as she threw the sheet of fabric over her shoulder.
“Rarity?” Twilight called out from the other room.
“Twilight?” Rarity asked as she rounded the corner.
“Woah, what happened to you?” Twilight asked looking at the state Rarity was in.
“What do you mean, darling?” Rarity asked confused.
Twilight grabbed a mirror and put it in front of Rarity.
Rarities eyes went wide in shock and she screamed. Her hair was all over the place and her clothes were a mess and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of days.
“Are you alright, Rarity?” Twilight asked with concern.
“I must admit, I have been working myself pretty hard on Applejack’s birthday present,” Rarity said as she started to adjust her hair in the mirror that Twilight gave her.
“Applejack’s birthday is coming up?” Twilight asked curiously.
“Yes next week,” Rarity said as she put the mirror down and looked at Twilight. “So what can I do for you darling?” She asked smiling warmly at Twilight.
“Well it’s mine and Sunset’s first official date and I was wondering if I could get the dress that I wore for the Fall Formal from you,” Twilight replied trying not to look at Rarity’s mess of hair.
“Oh you don’t want that tatty old thing for your first date with Sunset,” Rarity started with a wave of disapproval.
“But you made it,” Twilight said confused now.
“For the Fall Formal yes, but this is your first date with Sunset, you need something brand new,” Rarity declared and got out a measuring tape to take down Twilight’s measurements.
“What are you doing?” Twilight asked even more confused now.
“Well you need something new, how long do you have until the date starts?” Rarity asked.
“I have until five,” Twilight as Rarity took her waist measurements.
“That leaves me four and a half hours, I’ll have something ready for you by then,” Rarity declared as she pushed Twilight out of the boutique.
“But…” Twilight started.
“I won’t hear anything of the sort Twilight, you deserve to look your best for Sunset and I’m going to make it happen!” Rarity said firmly as she started to close the door. “Now I need to focus, I’ll talk to you when it’s done,” she declared and shut the door.
“Sometimes her charitable spirit can be a bit much,” Twilight said to no one in particular. “Well I have four hours, I wonder what Pinkie's doing right now,” she added and turned to go to Pinkie’s house.

Sunset sat in a chair in her apartment looking over assortments of her clothes spread out across her bed. “I don’t know what to wear, what would look best for our first date?” She said turning to Fluttershy and Applejack.
Fluttershy and Applejack sat on the floor near Sunset’s bed.
Fluttershy stood up and looked at Sunset’s arrayed clothes. “This one looks nice,” Fluttershy said and picked up a frilly teal dress and put it in front of Sunset.
“No, no dresses, I want something along the lines of knight in shining armor,” Sunset said as she gathered up her dresses and put them back in her cupboard.
“So basically anything that goes with your leather jacket?” Applejack asked pointing at the jacket that Sunset had on.
“No question about that, the jacket stays,” Sunset said as she adjusted her jacket.
“I don’t see what the problem is, I doubt Twilight’s going to care what you wear, just so long as you're there and you guys have fun,” Applejack stated with a laugh.
“I bet your girlfriend wouldn’t agree with you,” Sunset said with a knowing smile.
“Yeah well that’s Rarity for you, I swear half the time she’s thinking about clothes,” Applejack said with a roll of her eyes and another laugh.
“And the other half she’s thinking about what’s under ‘your’ clothes,” Sunset said as she inspected a blue wondercolt t-shirt.
“Why would you say that?” Applejack asked with a blush growing on her face.
“Oh just a hunch,” Sunset said with a wide smile.
“I mean come on, she pretty much undresses you everyday at lunch,” Fluttershy said as she looked at Sunset’s purple t-shirt with the Sunset motif on it. She then went wide eyed as she realized what she had said and then quickly added. “At least that’s what Pinkie says,” Fluttershy then brought Sunset’s t-shirt up to hide her face.
“I don’t know why you shouldn’t just wear what you normally do, I did it on my first date with Rarity and she said that I didn’t have to wear anything ‘fancy’ to impress her. I’m sure Twilight will love you no matter what you wear,” Applejack said and got up to pat Sunset on the back.
“Thanks, Applejack,” Sunset said and then looked at her pile of clothes and picked up her shirt with the sunset motif and a pair of blue denim jeans. “What do you think?” She asked looking at Applejack and Fluttershy.
“Wait, I have one more thing to add,” Fluttershy said and grabbed a thong that matched the color of Sunsets hair with a matching bra.
“Wow, how can that even be considered underwear?” Applejack asked looking closer at the thong.
Sunset looked at Fluttershy with wide eyes and started to blush. “Where… Where did you get that?” Sunset stuttered out as she now looked at the thong and bra.
“From your drawers, you said you wanted to look through all of your clothes,” Fluttershy said joyfully.
“Yeah, but that’s kind of private, Fluttershy,” Sunset managed still blushing wildly.
“Oh… OH!” Fluttershy said with wide eyes and now she was blushing just as wildly as Sunset.
“It’s ok, just so long as you don’t do it again, ok?” Sunset asked trying to get her blush under control.
“Yeah, ok,” Fluttershy managed while nodding furiously.
It is my favorite pair though, and maybe if things go well, me and Twilight could end up here for another night of bliss. Sunset thought and blushed more at the thought and tried to hide it from her friends. “Well we have three hours left before the date, wanna go double check if everything’s ready for tonight?” Sunset asked.
“Sure, we’ve got nothing else going on,” Applejack said truthfully.
“Thanks you guys, I don’t know what I would do without you guys,” Sunset said with a warm smile.
“Hey, what are friends for,” Applejack stated and returned the smile to Sunset.

Twilight sat with Pinkie at the football field at CHS watching Rainbow Dash losing to Gwen in a soccer match.
“Sometimes Gwen scares me, I mean she’s beating Rainbow Dash at sports!” Twilight exclaimed in surprise.
“I know, I never thought it would happen either, and she seems super timid,” Pinkie replied looking just as surprised.
Rainbow ran for the ball that was in Gwen’s possession.
Gwen just stood there waiting for Rainbow with a determined look on her face. The red head side stepped Rainbow and dragged the ball with her. She then kicked the ball into the air and then kicked it straight towards Rainbows goals, it hit the net perfectly. “Five to two, I win Rainbow,” Gwen said with a cocky smile.
“Beginner’s… Luck,” Rainbow replied trying to catch her breath.
Pinkie and Twilight just sat there in surprise of how tired Rainbow was.
“Seriously, you should join the soccer team, we’d thrash the competition,” rainbow said to Gwen as she wiped the sweat from her forehead off.
“I already said no and I mean it, Rainbow I’m just no good with a crowd,” Gwen said grabbing her arm nervously.
“Can’t blame a girl for trying right,” Rainbow said as she hugged Gwen. “It’s ok Gwen, I’m not forcing you to do it… I’m just saying it’s an option,” she added as she pulled back so she could look Gwen in the face.
“Thanks, Rainbow,” Gwen said and kissed Rainbow briefly on the lips.
“You guys are hopeless you know that right?” Twilight said as she joined Rainbow and Gwen on the field.
“Hey Twilight, when did you get here?” Rainbow asked and then noticed Pinkie there as well. “Did you guys see all of that?” She added grabbing her arm in a similar fashion to Gwen and blushed.
“Yep all of it, and might I say miss Rainbow Dash that you are such a cute couple!” Pinkie exclaimed and hugged Rainbow and Gwen tightly.
“Pinkie… Can’t breathe,” Rainbow managed.
“Oh right sorry,” Pinkie said and put the two girls down.
“So what brings you to CHS Twilight, don’t you have a big date with Sunset today?” Gwen asked.
“Yeah but it’s not for a another three hours, I thought I might as well hang out with you guys for a while,” Twilight said with a laugh.
“Are you nervous?” Rainbow asked.
“What do you mean?” Twilight asked as she sat down on one of the bleachers.
“It’s the first date, I mean it’s a ‘big’ deal, I know I was nervous on my first date with Rainbow,” Gwen said and grabbed a hold of Rainbow’s hand and squeezed it lightly.
“It’s only natural, Twilight,” Pinkie said while sitting down next to Twilight.
“Well I guess I am a little nervous, this is the first time I’ve been in a relationship,” Twilight said.
“Really, you’ve never been with anyone else before?” Gwen asked in surprise.
“There’s never really been anybody else that’s caught my eye in that way… I guess there was Flash but we never ‘actually’ dated. I knew after our kiss at the Fall Formal that it would always be Sunset,” Twilight said with a smile on her face.
“Aw that’s so romantic,” Gwen said and leaned her head on Rainbow’s shoulder. “You know Sunset never stops talking about you, you mean so much to her,” she added with a smile of glee.
“Really?” Twilight asked with a blush forming on her face.
“Oh yeah, like all the time, although she’ll never tell me what you guys did that one night after we beat the Sirens,” Pinkie said crossing her arms and pouting.
“You’ll figure it out when you’re older Pinkie,” Rainbow said with a laugh.
“That’s what Sunset kept saying,” Pinkie said.
“So what’s the gameplan?” Rainbow asked trying to change the subject from mushy romance.
“Gameplan?” Twilight asked confused.
“You know, how are you gonna go about the date?” Rainbow asked like it was obvious.
“How I normally go about things I guess,” Twilight said nervously.
Rainbow sighed. “Ok let me make this clearer, if you and Sunset were to dance who would lead?” She asked hoping that it was clearer for Twilight.
“Umm, I don’t know, me?” Twilight asked uncertain how to answer.
“I can’t see you leading in a dance, can you?” Rainbow asked looking down at Gwen who still rested her head on Rainbow’s shoulder.
“Don’t pay any mind to her, Twilight. Sunset’s been going on about how she wants to be your ‘knight in shining armor’ though,” Gwen said as she jabbed Rainbow with one of her fingers. “Best just to let her think that,” she added with a laugh.
“Yeah, I’ll keep that in mind,” Twilight replied with a laugh of her own.
“So who wants to play some soccer?” Rainbow asked with a wide smile as she spun her soccer ball on the tips of her fingers.
The rest of the girls groaned out their negativity towards the activity to which Rainbow simply laughed.

Twilight entered Rarity’s boutique with fifteen minutes left before she was meant to meet Sunset at the school. “Rarity, is the dress ready?” Twilight called out into the boutique.
“Just about,” Rarity said. “Come on in and see it,” she added.
Twilight entered the room to find Rarity finishing up her dress.
The dress was a bit more simplistic than her Fall Formal dress. Instead of it being layered near the bottom it was cut short, her cutie mark sat on the right side of the dress and the sash in the middle had red instead of white on it with a red bow.
“What do you think?” Rarity asked looking at Twilight.
“It looks amazing,” Twilight said as she looked the dress over again.
“Great, now we need to get you into it,” Rarity said and pushed Twilight into a changing booth and handed her the dress. “So what have you and Sunset got planned for tonight?” She asked as Twilight was changing.
“I have no idea, Sunset said it was meant to be a surprise,” Twilight said as she unhooked her plain purple bra and set it on the bench.
“Oh how romantic, I remember when Applejack wanted to surprise me on our first date,” Rarity said with a sigh of happiness.
“I’m guessing from the fact that you two are still together it wasn’t a rodeo,” Twilight said as she took off her skirt and retrieved the dress from it’s hanger.
“No, we actually went to a fancy restaurant in the city, it was amazing,” Rarity said leaning on the wall next to the changing booth.
“Wow, I never expected that from Applejack… Although I’ve learned that love makes you do funny things,” Twilight said with a wide smile as she slipped the dress on.
“It certainly does,” Rarity replied as Twilight stepped out of the booth. “You look amazing, darling,” Rarity said looking Twilight over in her new attire.
“Thanks, you think Sunset will like it,” Twilight stated timidly, suddenly overflowing with nervousness.
“Of course she will, darling,” Rarity said and placed a hand on Twilight’s shoulder. “Now get out there and have a great time with her,” she added as she pushed Twilight out of the boutique.
“Thanks, Rarity,” Twilight said to her friend.
“No problem, darling. Now remember to use protection as well. Because I know what you two get up to,” Rarity said with a wink and closed the door.
Twilight blushed at this and then looked in the direction of the school. Come on, Twilight. What could go wrong? She thought to herself and made her way to the school.

Sunset stood outside of her apartment in front of her motorcycle, the nervousness overwhelming her now. How should I say hi?
“Yo, baby how’s it going,” Sunset said and then made a face that looked like she was going to vomit. No that’s terrible. “Hi, Twilight,” she said with a slight wave. No that’s kind of creepy. Sunset then slapped herself. “Snap out of it Sunset,” she said to herself. Man, I bet to passersby this would be so confusing. “Just act like yourself, no need to go all fancy on her,” she said now starting to walk in circles. Your right just act like you always do… And now I’m talking to myself, lovely. “Well now or never,” Sunset said and got on her motorcycle. She then checked her watch. “Crap five minutes to get to the school,” she said and then put on her helmet and turned on the motorcycle.

Twilight and Sunset arrived at the school at the same time both five minutes late.
“Sorry for being late,” Twilight said as Sunset pulled up beside her.
“Why are you apologizing, we’re both late,” Sunset replied as she took off her helmet and whipped her hair around.
“Just a habit I guess, I don’t like to be tardy,” Twilight said clutching her arm nervously.
“I think we can make an exception for this time,” Sunset replied with a warm smile as she as she kicked down the kickstand for the motorcycle and parked it. She got off of the motorcycle and kissed Twilight and wrapped her arms around Twilight’s waist.
Twilight wrapped her arms around Sunsets neck and pulled her closer. The kiss contained more love than passion, it was slow and there was no tongue just a sense of longing.
When they finally parted their foreheads touched and they looked into eachothers eyes.
“I missed you so much, baby,” Sunset said finally breaking the silence.
“I missed you too, silly filly,” Twilight said and buried her face into the crook of Sunset’s neck.
Sunset just held Twilight close to her never wanting to let her go.
Ten minutes passed with them just standing there in eachothers arms.
Twilight finally broke the silence. “We should probably get going, I’m sure you have a lot planned for this evening,” she said as she started to pull away from Sunset.
“Right, I guess we should do that,” Sunset said as she released Twilight and then reached into her jacket pocket. “Starting with the first surprise,” she added and retrieved a purple flower from her jacket. “It’s called an Aster, and I immediately thought of you when I saw it,” she added looking over the flower.
“Oh, Sunset it’s beautiful,” Twilight said in wonderment as Sunset placed the flower on Twilight’s dress so the flower was showing but not the stem.
“Not as beautiful as you are,” Sunset said and placed a kiss on Twilight’s cheek.
Twilight blushed. “You're just saying that,” she said playfully swatting Sunset’s arm.
“No I mean every word,” Sunset said with a warm smile. “And in that dress you look even more so,” she added taking Twilight’s hand.
“You know just the right things to say to make me flustered, don’t you?” Twilight asked blushing heavily now.
“Apparently I do,” Sunset said blushing slightly now. “So shall we?” Sunset asked as she grabbed her spare helmet and passed it to Twilight.
“We shall,” Twilight replied with a wide smile.
Sunset put on her helmet and got on the motorcycle.
Twilight put on her helmet and got on behind Sunset and hugged up close to her.
Sunset turned on the motorcycle and kicked up the kickstand on the bike and they were off.
Twilight held on tight with her hands wrapped around Sunsets waist and her head peering over her shoulder.

When Sunset stopped the motorcycle Twilight and her were parked in front of Fantasia a restaurant in the city.
Twilight marvelled at the name. “What does it mean?” Twilight asked Sunset as she took Sunset’s hand and got off of the motorcycle.
“I think it stands for fancy in latin, but I could wrong,” Sunset said with a laugh.
Twilight adjusted her dress and then took Sunset’s hand and they headed towards the restaurant.
They walked into a luscious wide open room with a visible second floor and a giant fountain in the middle that’s surrounded by various tables.
Sunset led Twilight to the sign in dais.
“Table for two, under Sunset Shimmer,” Sunset said to the man at the table.
The man simply nodded and left the dais to find Sunset and Twilights table.
“Sunset, how much did this cost?” Twilight asked looking around her and noticing the fancy lighting and the chandelier that hung above the fountain, and the fact that the dais was made of marble.
“It doesn’t matter how much I spent, you're worth it,” Sunset said with a warm smile.
“That means you spent a whole lot doesn’t it,” Twilight said with a cocked eyebrow.
Sunset sighed. “Yes I spent a lot, but again you're worth it,” Sunset said maintaining her smile.
“If you would follow me, madams,” a waitress said as she approached Sunset and Twilight.
Sunset and Twilight followed closely behind the waitress still holding hands. They got several glares from many of the more ‘richer’ people, not just because of what Sunset was wearing but because of the fact that they could tell they were dating.
Twilight tried to get closer to Sunset and shy away from the glares. “Maybe this wasn’t such a great idea,” Twilight said looking at all the people who were glaring at them.
“Let them stare, it’s not like I care what they think,” Sunset said and slapped Twilight on the ass and then winked at her with a wide smile.
“Sunset,” Twilight whispered in an angry tone.
“What you let me do it to you in the bedroom,” Sunset whispered back maintaining her smile.
“That was different,” Twilight whispered back with a blush forming on her cheeks.
The waitress bowed to the Twilight and Sunset and pointed out the table next to her.
It was a small square table with two chairs on either side of it that sat next to the fountain but it was separated by a railing.
Sunset let go of Twilight’s hand and grabbed the chair to pull it out for her girlfriend.
Twilight blush deepened as she sat down in the chair and then looked at Sunset. “Thanks, silly filly,” she said as she kissed Sunset’s hand.
“Anything for my princess,” Sunset said as she pushed Twilight’s chair in and then sat opposite her.
The waitress just looked at Sunset and Twilight with a wide smile. “So hi, my name is Alicia and I’ll be your server for today, can I start you two off with some drinks?” Alicia asked placing menus in front of Twilight and Sunset.
“Well I’m driving tonight so I’ll just have your best apple juice,” Sunset said to Alicia.
“Ok, and for you miss?” Alicia asked turning to Twilight.
“Umm, I’ll have the same,” Twilight said with a nervous smile.
“Alright, two apple juices coming right up, and can I just say that you two are a really cute couple,” Alicia said and walked away.
“Well at least that’s one person in this place,” Sunset said with a giggle.
“Yeah,” Twilight said looking around nervously again.
“What’s wrong, baby?” Sunset asked grabbing a hold of Twilights hands.
“Nothing, it’s just kind of frightening me with everyone looking at us,” Twilight said as she looked back at Sunset and squeezing Sunset’s hand tighter.
“Hey don’t worry about it, I’m right here. I’m your knight in shining armor remember,” Sunset said back with a warm smile.
“Yeah I know,” Twilight replied and placed her hand on Sunset’s cheek. Twilight stared longingly into Sunset’s eyes but she noticed that something was on Sunset’s mind, something that was troubling her. “What is it, Sunset?” Twilight asked with fear entering her voice now.
“It’s nothing,” Sunset said with a sigh and looking away from Twilight now.
“Sunset, I promise that whatever it is we can get through it together. I’ve been completely honest with you, and I expect the same from you,” Twilight said with slight firmness in her voice.
“It’s just that sometimes this feels like a dream, like one day I’ll wake up and we never were together. I don’t know why I even deserve you, I was so cruel to everyone around me, I almost invaded Equestria and I was just the worst. And yet in the same night we started our relationship,” Sunset started but then Twilight placed a finger on her mouth.
Twilight smiled at Sunset. “You're not that girl anymore, I knew how much you had changed that night, and I knew I was in love with you, Sunset Shimmer, and I still do love you, now and forever,” Twilight said and kissed Sunset on the lips.
When they finally parted, Twilight and Sunset remembered where they were and they both blushed deeply.
“Oh, Twilight if this is a dream I never want to wake up,” Sunset said with a wide smile.
“I can agree with that,” Twilight replied returning the smile.
“We should probably look at what we’re going to order, we have a long night ahead of us,” Sunset said with a laugh.
“Really, what else is following this?” Twilight asked raising her arms wide to emphasize the restaurant.
“Now that would be telling, miss Sparkle. I already told you that it’s a surprise for a reason,” Sunset said with a sly smile.
“You can be so mean sometimes,” Twilight said with a pout on her face now.
“I know, it’s one of my best qualities,” Sunset said in a triumphant voice.
Twilight simply rolled her eyes and laughed at Sunset’s comment.

Sunset exited the restaurant holding hands with Twilight and smiling all the way back to the motorcycle.
“You should have let me pay at least some of the bill,” Twilight complained thinking back on how expensive the food was.
“With what? You don’t exactly have any money,” Sunset pointed out as she put her helmet on.
“I guess you're right, but did it really have to be so expensive?” Twilight asked.
“Nothing’s too expensive for you, Twilight,” Sunset answered and mounted the motorcycle. “Now come on otherwise we’re going to be late,” she added patting the seat.
“For what?” Twilight asked getting on behind Sunset.
“You’ll figure it out, just wait,” Sunset said with a sly smile.

Sunset pulled up to a stop in front of the Canterlot movie theatre.
“Isn’t the movie meant to come before the dinner?” Twilight asked.
“What and have you filled up on popcorn, not a chance, baby,” Sunset said and helped Twilight off of the bike.
“Fair enough, so what are we going to watch?” Twilight asked looking towards the theatre.
“A romantic comedy that Rarity kept on saying I should take you to, ‘Pitch Perfect’ I believe she called it, it’s to do with music, so it should be good,” Sunset said hopefully.
“You haven’t read up on it or anything?” Twilight asked as they made their way into the theatre.
“Twilight, you know I’m more of a ‘hands on’ kind of gal,” Sunset said to Twilight with a suggestive wink.
“You're really pushing for that aren’t you?” Twilight asked with a roll of her eyes.
“Oh we are having sex tonight!” Sunset yelled and slapped Twilight’s ass again.
A lot of people in line turned to give Sunset and Twilight very concerned and disgusted looks.
“Sunset, we’re in a public place,” Twilight whispered trying to avoid the glances of everyone else in the hallway.
“Oh you know you love it,” Sunset whispered back seductively.
Twilight shivered slightly at Sunset’s words but then recovered and glared at Sunset. “Keep this up and no sex for you tonight,” Twilight whispered sternly to Sunset.
“Oh, we are definitely banging tonight,” Sunset muttered happily under her breath.
Twilight simply rolled her eyes but internally she was smiling at Sunsets actions, it’s kind of exciting how bold she’s being, I think it’s turning me on. Twilight thought to herself as she started to blush again. Dear Celestia am I ever going to stop blushing tonight?

Sunset and Twilight finally made it to the respective room in the theatre and sat at the far back. Twilight laid her head on Sunset’s shoulder and Sunset put her arm around Twilight’s shoulder pulling her closer as the movie started.
“Comfortable?” Sunset asked Twilight.
“How could I not be with the world's best cushion?” Twilight asked as she smiled up at Sunset.
“I don’t know whether or not to take that as a compliment or an insult,” Sunset said in mock hurt.
Twilight raised her head up and kissed Sunset briefly on the lips. “Either or really, from me though it’s a compliment,” Twilight said with a laugh as she reassumed her original position on Sunsets shoulder.
“Alright then, I’ll take it as a compliment, popcorn?” Sunset said offering Twilight the bag of popcorn as she rested her head on Twilight’s head.
As the movie went on Sunset started to put her plan into motion. She put down her popcorn and then raised her hand so that it sat on Twilight’s arm and she slowly caressed it.
Twilight's eyes quickly darted to the hand that was caressing her arm and then her eyes darted to Sunset.
Sunset simply looked ahead at the movie screen feigning innocence.
Twilight then looked back at the movie screen and relaxed again.
Sunset then brought the hand down to caress Twilight’s knee and it slowly slid up her leg.
Twilight’s eyes went wide at what Sunset was trying to do but she couldn’t seem to find the will to stop Sunset’s advances.
Sunset continued unhindered as she slowly pulled Twilight’s dress up slightly to reveal her purple panties with her cutie mark imprinted on them. She looked around the movie theatre to see everyone still watching the movie. She pulled Twilight’s legs apart slightly. She simply teased Twilight for a short while by feeling along her inner thighs right next to her ultimate goal.
