My Little Gumball: Friendship is Amazing

Gumball makes friends with the Mane Six while having some strange yet amazing adventures.

Gumball Watterson is just your average 12 year old blue cat who goes to junior high, tends to fall asleep sometimes at class and always get into one adventurous yet disastrous mischief one after another, whether it be to avoid trouble, to help others or just have fun with his best friend, Darwin. So basically; it just a normal thing to do in his small hometown of Elmore.

One day, his sister Anais asked *cough*blackmailed*cough* him to watch a new t.v. show called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic with her; to which he begrudgingly agrees. During the show there was a thunderstorm to which a bolt of lightning that struck the T.V. attenna, that caused the T.V. to act strange, that soon pulls Gumball into it; transporting him into the show itself.

Now, with the help of the Mane Six; Gumball will go on to many adventures to learn the true meaning (as well as magic) of friendship. As long he gets home in time for dinner...

Elmore.

A quaint little place that seems to be just like your average town (well, depicting on how you look at it). But the one thing that can be said about this little town are the people who reside in it, being the civilians. At first you would of figured that these folks exactly look like a town full of some failed cereal mascots but some might take that as a sort of compliment. Now, there are so many people here that you thought that might consider too normal despite their appearances. And that's where we go to the home of this one 'peculiar' family.

Welcome to the home of the Wattersons. Here in a small suburban street lives the most unusual family within the entire town of Elmore; with them being the type of family that you might consider being tight-knit however, they usually always end up in getting into the most outrageous arguments which could lead either one or all into some type of trouble; whether it be serious or not. But just like any type of family, they always manage to find a way to fix everything and make everything go back to normal (sort of). But for this family, it's always everyday with them.

Now on this very sunny day, we see one of our protagonists, just sitting by his computer desk looking out of his room window. Let me introduce you to Elmore's very own Gumball Watterson. The eldest of the Watterson children, being only at the age of twelve, he's a blue cat who resembles his mother Nicole Watterson; that often tends to be very optimistic at times but he's usually known to be a troublemaker. He sleeps in during classes, often gets beat up by the bullies every once in a while and causes mischief alongside his adopted brother/best friend, Darwin (who is a talking goldfish...with legs).

"Sigh...man, I'm so booooored." Gumball said as he gave an exasperated sigh.

He rested his head upon his right hand thinking on what to do for today. Darwin was out with their mom doing grocery shopping, so they wouldn't be back until at least twenty minutes. He could see what his dad was doing but he probably could be asleep on the family couch while watching the family T.V. set. He sighed once again as he raised his head from his desk and left his bedroom and headed downstairs to the kitchen on what to find to snack on.

Gumball soon walked down the stairs that lead to where both the front door entrance and where the living room resided. And as he nearly passed the family couch, he saw his lazy pink rabbit father, Richard Watterson, asleep on the couch as he predicted, snoring loudly. He then silently as well as nonchalantly passed the couch and entered straight into the kitchen. He opened up the refrigerator door which contained a smorgasbord of many delectable foods ranging from a carton full of eggs, to a BLT (Bacon Lettuce Tomato) sandwich, to which his father had bit into earlier.

Gumball just shrugged and took his father's sandwich and sat right at his usual eating place at the dining room table and began to eat into the once delectable looking sandwich. While chewing on the food, he began to think of what he else could to do on this summer day. Well...he could go and see his schoolmate/crush, Penny Fitzgerald but he had two problems: one; she was doing summer school, and two; he was pretty sure that her father, Patrick Fitzgerald, wouldn't allow it. At all. Ever.

Or he could go and visit his other schoolmate/friend Carrie Krueger but then he suddenly remembered that she along with her parents are for the moment out of town to visit her other family members. Well his other schoolmate/rival Tobias Wilson...well, he doubted he wanted to see him as well as Tobias' other friends (if he had any at all). For Gumball, trying to figure out what to do on a nice, warm, sunny day was giving him nothing short of a migraine and more.

"Man, I wish that Darwin was here at home with me;" Gumball said to himself. "At least he would help me figure out what I could do for today."

"Well luckily for you, I have just the answer for your predicament." a young, familiar sound from behind the seat had caused Gumball to jump in his seat.

He then turned around to notice that his sister, the youngest of the Watterson children; 4-year-old Anais Watterson, whom resembled her father in all but smarts and mannerisms. She usually is known to be the intellectual child out of the three but still tends to act like a child none-the-less and is seen always holding onto her Daisy the Donkey doll in her arms, just smiling. And by the way she was smiling, it looked a little...too innocent.

Gumball sighed at his sister's sudden arrival. "What do you want, Anais?"

"Well, I just wanted to see if you were doing anything today;" Then Anais' smile grew a little bigger. "And since it seems you got nothing on your plate...well, except for Dad's sandwich; I figured you could stay home, relax and watch a t.v. show with me."

Her comment had suddenly peaked Gumball's curiosity. "Oh, and may I ask, what this show is about, hmm?"

Anais smile didn't even falter a bit. "Well, it's a new show that I wanted to watch that will start in an hour. It's gonna have the two first episodes, as two parters. So I figure it should be good enough for you at least."

Gumball could only nod, while he took another bite of the sandwich in his hand. "Okay then, what's the name of the show?"

"'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic'." quoted Anais.

Gumball nearly choked on his food that he was eating. It took all of his efforts to not to spit out the sandwich he was eating out of his mouth. He then ran towards the refrigerator door to grab the milk carton that was in front of him and managed to chug down the chewed up chunk of the sandwich he also once enjoyed. After he managed to swallow the soggy food his throat, Gumball looked at his sister with a gaze that plainly said 'Are you insane?!' right on his face.

"cough, cough WHAT! Oh no! No, no, no, no, no! I am not watching a show that is meant for little girls. That. Is. NOT. Happening!"

"Aww, why not?" Anais said in a whiny tone with a disappointed look on her face.

Gumball then took a nice, calm look as he looked upon his little sister. "Anais, I love you, since you're my little sister-"

"Your 'only' little sister..." Anais interjected with a slight frown on her face.

"Right, right, got it;" Gumball said with an annoyed tone, "and as such you should know that if I start watching any kind of girly show now and if the other kids finds out that I watch said girly show, then..." he shivered for a short moment, "it won't end pretty well for me. So it comes to the terms that no matter what, I will never watch that girly girl show."

Anais looked down towards the ground as if she was thinking of something. "So no matter I try to do, you'll won't watch the show with me?"

Gumball stood defiantly with his arms crossed. "Anais, no matter what you say or do will get me to change my mind, because I will never, ever, EVER watch that show! Not in a million years! Never!"

"Please remind me one more time on how you got me to watch the show with you?" Gumball asked his sister as he sulked with his face in the palm of his hands.

"Well, like I said;" she started to say. "I said that if you weren't gonna watch the show with me, I'll show all of these to Mom;" she then gestured towards a huge box full of papers. "and you'll know what will happen next."

Gumball sighed once more as he laid back against the family couch where their father slept on and facepalmed. He should've known that both he and Darwin should've burned all those report cards during the beginning of summer vacation. 'Note to self:' Gumball thought with a look of pure irritation on his face. 'don't hide the box of report cards in the bedroom closet. Ever. Again.'

"Alright then," Anais said as she held up a blank tape in her right hand. "let's get started!"

"Let's just get this over with," groaned Gumball. "besides, I got better things to do."

Anais just rolled her eyes with a deadpan expression on her face. 'Yeah, sure. Keep telling yourself that, big bro.' she thought to herself. She then turned on the T.V. to turn it to the appropriate channel. Afterwards, Anais turned towards Gumball's direction.

"Are you ready?" she asked her eldest brother.

Gumball looked towards Anais and then the T.V. then back to Anais and gave her the 'go ahead' hand gesture.

Anais just smiled and put the tape in the V.C.R. and pressed the play button and sat right next to Gumball.

And while the show started playing, Gumball just stared towards the T.V. with a thoughtful look on his face. 'Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to give it a chance...'

Despite of all the stuff he said earlier about the show in general, Gumball decided it wasn't that bad after all; well, except that theme song. It was terrible. Well, even if it was a show about dainty, colorful type of ponies meant for little girls, he thought that it was pretty...'unique' in it's own way. From the beginning of the first episode (though he won't openly admit it), he was pretty hooked on how the show itself progressed; by introducing the six main characters.

The first character, Twilight Sparkle, who is a purple unicorn with a purple mane with a pink stripe who's talented with magical spells and such; who had a baby dragon for a #1 assistant named Spike and is also the faithful student to Princess Celestia; whom she had sent her down to the town of Ponyville to check on everything for the upcoming Sun Festival.

The next character, Pinkie Pie was a pink earth pony with frilly hair who acted WAY too excited and acted crazy all the time (she kinda reminded Gumball of Banana Joe...somewhat) that claimed to be Ponyville's #1 party pony that works at a bakery known as Sugarcube Corner.

Then after, did the show introduce Applejack, an orange earth pony who kinda looked like a cowgirl (or in this case, a cowpony). She also worked on an apple farm with her family who specialized in working with apples that were to be the best tasting apples in all of Equestria.

Next was Rainbow Dash, whom right from the start that she reminded him of a pony version of Tobias; except she a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. She acts a little crude and be a little lazy when it came to work a but man was she a fast flyer when she soars to the sky!

Then along came Rarity, a white unicorn who Spike just fell for at the first sight of her. She specializes in making clothes but seemed to be too much of a drama queen when it came to said clothing, fashion, etc., etc (much to Twilight's displeasure).

And finally, there was the sweet, soft-spoken Fluttershy, who reminded Gumball of Penny in so many ways. Like her name portrays, was a very, very timid; however, she had a talent with caring for all kinds of animals, heck, she was ecstatic when she first saw Spike, much to his pleasure.

So far, there was a party at the town's library where Twilight would be staying, much to Twilight's dislike. Then as everyone got ready for the arrival of Princess Celestia, things went wrong when they introduced the villain, Nightmare Moon, much to everyone's horror (and much to Gumball's interest). She explained that she has imprisoned Celestia and that she was going to rule all of Equestria in an endless night for the rest of eternity.

Then the next episode played after the first one which had the six main characters at the library having a discussion on how to stop Nightmare Moon by using some magical items known as the Elements of Harmony, and that the only way to get them was by going to the Castle of the Two Sisters within the Everfree Forest. Twilight offered to go on her own, however the others thought it would be better if they went with her instead of her going alone.

Soon, the six mares started their quest through the Everfree Forest, Nightmare Moon kept putting the ponies in dangerous situation, like putting a thorn in a chimera's paw; to which Fluttershy tamed the beast with kindness to pull out the thorn, only for the chimera t thank her. Then, having the six ponies to nearly fall off a cliff, only to have Twilight holding on to Applejack's hooves, but then getting Twilight to trust her when she'd be on the ground safe and unharmed.

Then having Pinkie Pie laugh at the scary faces on multiple trees, only to sing a song to cheer up everyone to which caused them to laugh at the trees too. Then they came across a gap on a creek with a weeping serpent whose one side of the mustache got cut off, much to Rarity's sympathy. She then used the serpent's scale to cut off her tail hair to fix his mustache in return to get to the other side of the creek.

Then as they neared the bridge to the castle ruins, Rainbow Dash flew to the other side to fix the bridge, only to have a few dark looking ponies in suits called Shadowbolts offer Rainbow Dash to become one of them, if she drops the bridge on her friends, only for Rainbow to deny their request much to their irritation.

Then they made it inside the ruins only to finally confront Nightmare Moon. Gumball had a small smile on his whiskered face. He was both glad that he was gonna finish both episodes but in a weird way kinda depressed that the episode was soon coming to a close. Then, he looked over at his sister, whom seemed to get into the show more than he was, which didn't surprise him very much, or even at all.

Then, there a large booming noise that was coming from outside. Both Gumball and Anais was startled for a bit only for Gumball to get up to see what was going on outside. He went by the windows, only to pull the shades back a bit to see that there was a thunderstorm outside of the house.

'A thunderstorm? Huh, that's weird...' Gumball thought in confusion while he looked on outside. 'the weatherman said that it would be sunny all day long.'

He then heard a loud growling noise from behind him only to see Anais on the couch rubbing her stomach. She the proceeded to get up off the couch only to look towards Gumball's direction.

"I'm starting to feel a little hungry, so I'm going into the kitchen to find me a snack." She then proceeded to head towards the kitchen when she stopped only to turn around to look towards her big brother. "Would you like anything while I'm in there?"

Gumball scratched his head only for a minute to decide on what he wanted Anais to get for him. "Do you mind if you could give me a glass of milk?" asked Gumball.

Anais only nodded and said "Okay, sure..." She turned to head towards the kitchen but stopped only to say "but you better not leave the room while I'm gone."

"Are you serious?" asked an obviously very annoyed Gumball.

"I mean it. Don't you dare leave or..." she stopped only to point towards the giant box of report cards that sat next to the side of the family couch.

"Fine, fine, whatever..." grunted Gumball.

"Great! I'll be right back!" She then walked straight into the kitchen, leaving a very irritated Gumball alone. He then sighed as he went back on the floor once more, as he continued to watch the show. As soon as he sat down he gave out a very exasperated sigh.

'Man,' he thought as he shook his head. 'how do I manage to get myself into these type of messes?' He then turned his attention back towards the show as the six ponies managed to obtain the Elements of Harmony. 'Oh well, at least the show is almost done, which means that I'll be free soon!'

Meanwhile, outside of the Watterson household; the thunderstorm was getting a lot worse as lightning bolts were flashing in the sky which caused the wind outside to blow even harder, to which it caused the T.V. attenna on the roof to shake a lot.

While inside the house, as Gumball was about to see the ponies finish off Nightmare Moon, the T.V. soon started to lose the picture and caused some static to come up on the screen.

"Great, just terrific." Gumball grumbled. He then got off the couch to walk towards the front of the T.V. to smack the side to fix the problem. "Come on you stupid thing, work! You better work or I'll never hear the end of it from Anais!" He then only got a minor view of Twilight and friends blast out a rainbow like beam towards Nightmare Moon, only at the exact moment that a random bolt of lightning struck the attenna to which the electricity traveled through the T.V. cable; which then managed to strike the T.V., causing the screen to glow a prism like color.

"For the last time, you sorry excuse for an entertainment system, I. Said. WORK!" shouted Gumball as he started to smack the T.V. screen.

As soon as his hand touched the screen, he felt his arm go through as he felt like he was being pulled into a black hole. Gumball started to freak out as he was trying to pull his arm back out, however, he was failing miserably. Before long, it soon pulled most of Gumball into the T.V. Before Gumball managed to cry out for help, the T.V. screen managed to pull him all the way in, causing Gumball to disappear into the T.V. Leaving nothing but the space where Gumball once stood at, as well as the television screen covered with static.

"Hey Gumball, I checked the fridge to see if we had any milk left, but there's no more left. However, we do have some orange juice if you like to have-" Anais came back into the living room holding a bottle of orange juice only to look up and see an empty room with no sign of Gumball, their sleeping dad on the couch and a T.V. showing nothing but static on the screen.

"...Aaaaaaaaaand he's gone." she sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose in irritation.

It was quiet in the middle of what was once a castle, now nothing more than ruins. Then out of nowhere, a magical burst happened when a rainbow colored portal opened from the top of the ceiling, causing Gumball to fall out of it. And onto the cold, hard floor with a great, loud thud. Groaning in pain, Gumball managed to pick himself up off the floor, shook the cobwebs from his head and looked around.

As he was trying to pull himself together, he decided to have a look around. To him, it looked like an abandoned castle, to which the proof was that there were mold on the walls, vines were wrapping themselves on the pillars that were still holding up the worn out ruins. Now Gumball just couldn't help but thinking that he seen this place before. If only there was someone who could just help...

"Oh dear! Excuse me sir, are you okay?" asked a familiar voice that came from behind Gumball.

He then turned around and was about to answer when what he saw next left him completely speechless. Who he managed to gaze at was none other than Twilight Sparkle and her other five friends, looking upon Gumball with curiosity, nervousness, and most of all, interest. Now, in this case scenario, our dear Gumball Watterson did the only logical thing that he could possibly think of at a moment like this...

He fainted.

The Introductions

It has been one of the weirdest; if not, the craziest moment in Gumball's life. Well, at least in his opinion, that is.

He thought it all to be one big, horrible dream, one that he couldn't wake from. But due to his luck (if he had any at all), Gumball just couldn't get the satisfactory of getting to deny on what happened hours earlier. Even get a chance to call it inconceivable. Gumball remembered the whole thing like it was yesterday...which to be honest, it was several hours ago...

*Flashback*

Everything was pitch black and to Gumball, it seemed that time had been passing by. Like he was sleeping or something. And during that time was passing by, he has been hearing voices (he figured that it was his siblings).

"Excuse me sir, are you alright?"

Gumball's face scrunched up as he turned to his right side, trying to swat away the owner of the voice in his slumber.

"Cut it out, Anais. I'm trying to sleep." he mumbled sleepily.

"Anais? My, my, Twilight, it seems that this young fellow seemed to hit his head during that ghastly fall of his."

Twilight? Why did that specific name sound so familiar? Gumball tried to think of where he heard it from but he couldn't for the life of it.....

"U-um, e-excuse me but um...what do we do now? That is, if you don't mind me by asking..." asked a quiet, timid sounding voice.

"Well I'll tell you what we're gonna do; we're not wait any longer for this guy to wake up!" a brash, yet confident voice added her thought.

"Rainbow Dash, wait! What in tarnation are you goin' to do?" asked a female southern sounding voice

"Relax, A. J., I got this!" the same cocky voice replied.

So far everything was quiet and peaceful for a few moments; or at least that was Gumball thought at first. And the next thing he knew, Gumball felt the painful jolt of electricity coursing through his body, in which immediately woke him straight into consciousness. Twitching in pain, he tried to find the exact location of where that excruciating pain came from but only manage to gaze at six colorful ponies, with one of them resting on what appeared to be a small thunder cloud, laughing like a maniac.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?! Are you hurt?!" asked the purple unicorn in a worried voice as she turned back to the boisterous cyan horse with wings on the cloud with a scowl on her muzzle. "Why did you do that Rainbow Dash?! You know you could've seriously injured him!"

After regaining her breath, the rainbow maned pegasus that the purple one dubbed 'Rainbow Dash' looked back down to her with a smirk on her face. "What difference does it make? The point is that he's already awake. Plus, I don't like to wait, it wastes time."

'Oh man, I guess it wasn't a dream after all...' Gumball thought with a shocked look on his face.

"I swear dear, you can be compulsively brash sometimes..." the white unicorn sighed in a pish-posh sounding kind of voice, "however, I think that it's quite impolite to not introduce ourselves to our new guest, hmm?"

"Rarity's right, I guess the time for talk is over and we should start with introductions," the purple unicorn agreed. "I'll go first." She then turns to face Gumball with a welcoming smile. "Hello there, my name is Twilight Sparkle," the violet pony said, pointing a hoof to herself. Then she raised her left hoof over to the orange stetson wearing pony next to her. "and this pony here is Applejack."

"Howdy there, pardner!" the orange equine greeted with a smile on her face as she tipped her hat. She then looked towards to the pink, jittery pony that was sitting next to her left side. "And this right here is-"

"Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, are you new here because I know everypony in Ponyville! And I throw a lot of parties for ponies who are new in Ponyville; so do you like parties because I host the best kinds of parties that you'd ever seen! Also do you like cupcakes? Because I make the best tasting cupcakes that you've ever tasted as well as cakes, donuts, some candy but not all because that's Bon-Bon's job and I don't like to take away other ponies' jobs because-hmph!" the excited pink pony who was dubbed Pinkie Pie kept talking rapidly by the second until a cyan hoof covered her mouth suddenly.

"I think he kinda gets it by now, Pinkie." the rainbow maned horse said in an annoyed kind of voice, then turned her way towards the blue feline "What's up? I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest flyer in all of Ponyville, heck maybe in all of Equestria!" the brash pegasus exclaimed both loudly and proudly.

"My, my, aren't you the most humble mare I've ever met." the vanilla colored unicorn uttered to the now named Rainbow Dash with an exhasusted look, then turned her attention towards the blue cat. "It's nice to meet you darling, my name is Rarity, and I am Ponyville's top fashionista and owner of the town's local boutique." Then she took a glance at Gumball's tattered clothes, then gasped loudly in what appeared to be both shock and mild horror. "My word darling! Just look at your clothes! It looks like you've been caught in one of Rainbow Dash's 'flying practices'!"

"Hey!" the flying cyan pony shouted, at the fashionista, while jumping off of the storm cloud. But was then alas quickly ignored by the very same unicorn.

Then Rarity quickly regained her composure and then turned her attention to the butterscotch-colored pegasus to her left side, while gesturing her left hoof towards her. "And now this sweet little mare right here is-"

"Oh my, aren't you just the most cutest little thing!" the yellow-colored pony exclaimed while quickly grabbing Gumball in a crushing bear hug, while she nuzzled him with her muzzle. Which was making Gumball's face even...well, 'blue-er' from the lack of oxygen.

"Uh, sugarcube;" Applejack spoke up. "Ah think ya might be hugging the fella there a little too much..."

Then, Fluttershy stopped and took a look at Gumball for a second and let out a gasp and lets go of Gumball just as quickly as she started 'hugging' him, while covering her muzzle with her hooves.

"Oh my, I-I'm so sorry! Its just that-that you looked so adorable, just like an cute little kitten...and I tend to take care of some animals at my home back in town. S-So, I hope you can forgive me, that is, if you don't mind..." she said, quietly at the last part, hiding her muzzle under her mane, looking at him, shyly.

Gumball then started gasping desperately to gather some air to help him breathe again. Then he turned his towards the direction of the shy pegasus. "N-nah it's fine, I-I was just surprised, that's all." the blue cat panted, slowly breathing up air in his lungs.

Fluttershy blushed in slight embarrassment, albeit smiled knowing no harm was done. Meanwhile, Twilight walked up next to the yellow pegasus, looking towards Gumball with a curious look on her face.

"Well, at least you know who we all are, but I believe that you haven't introduced yourself yet. Who are you exactly?"

Gumball then turned his attention towards Twilight's direction then gave her a friendly smile. "Ah that's right, I guess I should've introduce myself by now. My name is Gumball; Gumball Watterson. It's nice to meet you all, I guess."

Twilight then raised her eyebrow in curiosity. "Gumball huh? Well, that's a 'unique' kind of name but a name never-the-less. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise." Gumball said while looking around the surrounding area which was covered with dusty, old ruins, then looks back to the other six colorful equines. "Anyways, if you all don't mind me by asking a little Q n' A myself: where exactly am I?"

"Oh! That's right," Twilight said as her eyes raised as she was reminded where they all were. "You, as well as us, are at the ruins of the Castle of the Two Sisters-"

"No, no, no," Gumball interrupted, waving his arms back and forth from side to side. "What I mean is...'WHERE'...am I?"

Twilight expression on her face soon turned into one of complete understanding , giving her an 'oh' expression. "Oh right, sorry..." she then looked at him, blushing with mild embarrassment, then smiled at him once more. "You reside in the land of Equestria; home of us ponies, which is full of unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies!"

Equestria? Why did that sound all too familiar? Unless...wait a minute, the show! The very same t.v. show he was watching with Anais! Somehow, he must've gotten transported into the show without knowing when his t.v. started acting all wonky. 'Fantastic, Gumball...' he thought to himself glumfully, holding his face in both his hands. 'Somehow, you got transported into the very cartoon show you and Anais was watching without even realizing it! Just great! Just what else is gonna happen next...?'.

Suddenly, he and the other six ponies heard a noise right behind them, like someone or something was groaning. They all turned around and saw a midnight blue colored alicorn waking up from where the pedestal was to which where Twilight and the others defeated Nightmare Moon. She happened to look like the tyrannical alicorn, but somehow she looked...smaller.

She seemed to be different than she originally was before. Also, she had a lighter shade of night-like blue fur all around her with an even lighter shade of blue mane, while wearing what appeared to a small black tiara shaped crown that is resting upon her head, with a crescent moon resting upon her flank.

'Well,' Gumball thought, 'that's not too much of a surprise I was thinking of getting.'

Suddenly, without any signs of warning, a bright light soon started to shine behind the blue cat and the six ponies, which grew even brighter by how close it came to the others, allowing them to cover their eyes so as not to get blinded. Then the lights soon faded away to show the sight of the newcomer. She had the same appearance as the small blue alicorn, only taller with a milk colored fur and the majestic, wavy multicolored mane that seemed that to be blowing in the wind. She like the others had a symbol on her flank, in the form of a sun.

'Okay, THAT...' Gumball looked on with a blank look on his face. 'That's the surprise that I was expecting.' Suddenly, he began to noticed all of the other ponies bowing before the white alicorn, all except the lavender unicorn.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight called out in happiness, running towards the majestic equine, which then both began to nuzzle one another, affectionately.

"Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student." the latter named alicorn princess said in grateful happiness. "I knew you could do it."

"But...you told me it was an old pony tale." the violet unicorn said as she looked up at the multicolored alicorn in confusion tilting her head sideways.

"I told you that you need to make some friends." Celestia said as she stood majestically with her left front hoof raised. "Nothing more."

She looked out to see the other five ponies. "I saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return and I knew it was you that the magic inside to defeat her but she could not unleash it until true friendship into your heart." She then continued to look at the others, until she caught Gumball in her sight, a bit confused and surprised.

"Well, it seems that you made even more friends than I originally thought," she muttered, taking a bit of interest at the sight of the blue cat. "And what is your name, young one?"

Now, you would think that Gumball would be suave and a bit sophisticated when the time finally came to meet someone that came close to royalty, let alone a princess. A princess that probably has enough money to by you, your family, your friends and your town a hundred times over, right? Right?

"H-HI! G-GUMBALL...MY N-NAME...!"

No...apparently not.

Gumball was a bit TOO nervous to give himself an embarrassed facepalm, seeing at the weirded out looks of the ponies (Celestia included) and the shocked, horrified look that was on Twilight's...face? Muzzle? He can't tell.

'Great, good job Gumball, you doofus!' the blue cat scolded at himself mentally. 'Now the ponies and the giant horse princess is going to think that you're a complete weirdo! Ugh, what is my life?'

"Oh my! I'm so terribly sorry, Princess Celestia;" Twilight exclaims while glaring at Gumball a bit. "You see, he's a bit of an uneducated outsider and-"

Honestly, Gumball couldn't tell if she was insulting him or telling the truth. He was about to apologize to the princess for his outburst until everyone (er, pony for that matter) heard a bit of laughter coming from the regal alicorn, looking at the violet colored bookworm and the blue furred feline.

"It's alright, my dear pupil. He's just as excited to meet someone like me, am I right?" She says as she looks upon our dear pussycat protagonist, to which he stood at attention and nodded at her.

"Y-Yeah! I'm very excited! So very excited!" Gumball exclaimed, as he gives her a sheepish grin, trying his best not to embarrass himself any further.

Celestia smiled down at him, knowingly. "Good. Now..." she says as she looks up at the throne, seeing the smaller alicorn gathering her bearings. "Onto more important matters."

She walks upon through Twilight and Gumball heading her way towards the now cowarding smaller alicorn, with worry evident upon her muzzle; however, Celestia saw this and begin to speak to her, gently.

"Princess Luna," she began speaking, as the now identified blue alicorn listened. "It has been a thousand years since I have seen you like this." She then knelt down in front of her, looking at her at eye level. "It is time to our differences behind us. We were meant to rule together, little sister."

"Sister?!" Twilight and the other ponies said in surprise. However, Gumball's reaction was a bit more...less than surprised.

'Duh, duh, DUH! What a twist.' he thought to himself, fighting the urge to roll his eyes at the sudden "realization".

The taller alicorn princess stood up, looking down at Princess Luna with her warm, gentle eyes. "Will you accept my friendship?" She asked as the younger princess was thinking the offer over, leaving the six ponies to lean in suspense. Causing Pinkie Pie to fall forward on her muzzle. After all, even Gumball was kinda hoping for a good outcome. Even though he won't admit it out loud or anything.

'I mean, it's not like I'm actually prepared to face a magical super horse, seeing is how I got NO magical qualities of my own. Let alone some armor or weapons to defend myself with!' he thought to himself in a bit of annoyance.

Princess Luna looked at the ground a bit more, then she ran up to Celestia, nuzzling against her, crying. "I'm so sorry! I've missed you so much, big sister!" while Celestia, nuzzled her in return, causing her to shed tears of happiness herself, in finally having her sister come back home after a thousand years.

"I've missed you too." Celestia told her younger sister, her happy emotions being shown through her tears.

Gumball had to look away from the sight, having to sniff his nose a bit, while trying to wipe some droplets of liquids from his eyes, while pretending to yawn.

Shut up, he wasn't crying. He was very sleepy. And nothing more.

However, during the emotional moment, he heard the sound of somebody blowing their nose and looked over to see Pinkie Pie with a tissue in hand (er, hoof), crying. It started out a bit small at first and then, she started to cry out loud, with her tears became like a fountain, almost all cartoon-like.

'Right,' he suddenly realized. 'it's a girl's cartoon show that I got sucked into. Silly me to forget.' he smacked his forehead, lightly.

"Hey!" Pinkie Pie said after she suddenly stopped crying. "You know what this calls for?"

Suddenly, Gumball's curiosity peaked again at the idea that the cotton candy colored equine must have. But after watching the first part of the episode, he only thought that might be going through her mind is...

"A PARTY!" Pinkie Pie exclaims as she throws confetti in the air, while the other ponies in the background run around in joining the celebration.

'Yeah...' Gumball thought, nodding to himself. 'I thought so.' However, to be completely fair, he was never one to deny partying if he could help it.

He then followed the other ponies, who didn't pay him no mind as they headed straight forward towards the arriving carriage, being carried by a lot of armored pegasi, to which Gumball suspected them to be Celestia's Royal Guards, with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna rode upon.

He then suddenly saw Spike, who passed through the crowd full of ponies, who went straight towards Twilight and gave her a hug, who then gladly returned it in full. Then he watched as Celestia walk towards Twilight, smiling at her, with Princess Luna following behind her.

Then Twilight and her friends, as well as the rest of the ponies, bowed to both of them. And to make sure he won't catch any backlash from anyone, he in turn bowed to them as well. And as they were bowing, he caught a glimpse of two young pegasus ponies and put some flowered branches on Luna's shoulders, causing her to look at them in surprise.

Celestia looked down at her sister, who was still looking upon the flower branches, smiling at her; which Luna then smiled back at her, grateful for the gift.

As Gumball was enjoying the moment, he then saw Twilight on the sidelines, watching the moment with a thoughtful look on her face, then put her head down in a bit of sadness. And that was all was Gumball needed to go and try to cheer somebody, er, somepony up. He then walks towards he, passing by the other ponies, who still didn't mind him at all.

"Hey there," Gumball called out to Twilight, who looked up at him. "Why the long face?" he smiled at her, trying his best not to laugh at the unintentional pun he just made, to which the violet colored mare's only response was a deadpan look, to which Gumball replied sheepishly. "Right, sorry." then she looked back down at the ground with a bit of sadness.

"Why so glum, my faithful student?" As the two of them looked up to see Princess Celestia walked up to the both of them. "Are you not happy that you're quest is complete and return to your studies in Canterlot?"

"That's just it." Twilight spoke up. "Just when I learned how wonderful it is to have friends, I have to leave them."

Gumball looked over to see the other five ponies, with sad looks, seeing that they're going to lose a new friend. And to be fairly honest, it would suck to leave your friends behind, let alone the ones you already made.

Then he caught the smile that the princess gave her, then replied. "Spike, take a note please?" Then he saw as pulled out a piece of paper and a quill out of nowhere and then began writing.

"I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that the unicorn, Twilight Sparkle, shall take on a new mission for Equestria." As she spoke, all of the town's ponies continued to listen in.

"She must continue to study the magic of Friendship. She must report to me, her findings from her new home, in Ponyville."

It was then Twilight went from feeling sad, to shock, then happiness in less than three seconds, as her new friends came standing by her, celebrating.

Yeah, as much as Gumball is glad about Twilight getting to stay in town with her new friends, he just can't take all this girly atmosphere. No offense, to them. Well, at least Twilight has a place that she can call home...wait a minute...oh no. Oh no! How could he forget?!

"I HAVE NO PLACE TO GO!" he suddenly bellowed, making the six ponies, dragon and Alicorn princess jump in mild shock.

Oh woe is he, for his luck just can't get better, can it?

*Flashback ends*

Well, in a way, it can. Seeing how he has no place to stay in a world completely foreign to him, Twilight offered a place for him to stay until he could return back home. Provided with Celestia's approval, of course, to which she didn't mind. As long as he has a place to stay and a roof over his head, he was content.

As much as he didn't like books (except comic books. They're the best.), it was a better alternative over staying at the ruins of a castle in a forest that seemed to have a mind of it's own. Besides, it didn't have the best roofing there, so no thank you. Man, if Anais was here, she'd be out of her mind with all this pony stuff.

"Oh yeah, that's right." Gumball said to himself. "I wonder what Anais is thinking about me vanishing? I mean, it's not like she's gonna be salty about my disappearance, right?"

Two hours.

It had been the exact time that Anais had been looking for Gumball ever since he suddenly vanished on her, leaving only her and her sleeping father on the couch. She had been going around looking for any signs of her brother and boy, when she finds him, she's gonna make sure that he's regrets it. She looked all over the house for him. His and Darwin's room? Nope. Her room? Thankfully not. Mom and Dad's room? Not a sign. The basement? No. The attic? She doubts it.

She thought of looking outside for him but she doubted that he'd stay out that long in the stormy rain. And that's the second thing that had agitated her. It seems that the storm had caused the family t.v. to act all wonky, making her miss her's and Gumball's time watching the show that she taped on a video tape.

"Man, this stinks." Anais grumbled under her breath. "When I find that stupid brother of mine, I'm gonna..."

Just then she heard the front door open, only to see a wet Darwin and Nicole walking into the house, carrying groceries. The look of ire was spread all over on the matriarch's face, not that Anais could blame her.

"Two and a half whole hours; spending time in a line in a grocery store." She heard her mother grumble. "And it was all because of a crazy old lady that kept yelling at workers while yelling at them into wanting to see the manager."

She then looked down at Darwin, handing him her grocery bags. "Darwin, could you go put these up for me, please?"

"Sure thing, Mrs. Mom!" Darwin said as he carried the bags to the kitchen, while trying not to run into the wall.

"I'm going to call Gumball down to help put them away." Nicole said as she stood at the foot of the stairs as she called out for her other son. "Gumball, sweetie I'm home. Could you please help Darwin put up the groceries?" She was only met with silence.

"Gumball, could you come down and help, please?" Again, silence only greeted her, which only made Nicole more irritated than the last.

"Gumball Watterson, if I have to come up there to drag you downstairs.." Nicole raised her voice as she walked up the stairs, promising punishments for her son. And as much as she wanted to stop her from looking for him, Anais knew that it would've been pointless. She just continued to look at the t.v. and the floor around it until she saw something.

A familiar piece of blue fur was stuck on the floor and a bit of charred hand prints was stuck on the sides of the t.v. She then looked at the television screen real close, then she thought she saw a faint image of a blue furred cat behind the static as it was talking to someone. Wait a minute, if Gumball's sudden disappearance was related to the storm, then could that possibly mean...?

"Anais?" the young rabbit girl's attention to the t.v. didn't last long as she saw the look on her mother's face somewhat mixed somewhere between worry and/or frustrated. "Honey, do you know where your brother is?"

"Uhhh..."

"No. Nope. Nope. Nuh uh."

Honestly, Gumball could do without the young dragon's "keen eyed inspections" on the apples. The same apples that he spent most of the day picking off the many apple trees from Applejack's family farm, with Twilight and Applejack, only for the baby dragon to throw each one of them out. Apparently, Twilight decided to go over and help Applejack with her chores at the Apple Family's farm. However, she very well couldn't do it alone without the help of two 'strong, tough guys' to aid her and her friend.

And just like that, both Gumball and Spike fell for such an obvious trick, although Spike didn't mind all that much. 'Oh well, it is what it is...' was one of the earlier thoughts that the young blue cat had. But even if he tried, he couldn't leave them hanging. He made a 'promise' (or to be technically honest, a deal) to Twilight and the other five ponies. As long as he helped Twilight and the others, they'll owe him favors in return in the near future, no questions asked.

Well, maybe a few...

And of course, since he's stuck in the show, he might as well as try to befriend the pastel colored equines. At first, when he befriended Twilight, she kinda reminded Gumball of Anais, a bit of a know-it all and a bit bossy, however, Anais wasn't THAT much of a bookworm. Or an equine, for that matter. But despite that, she was pretty much starting to be a bit friendly since she and Spike started to stay in town as the Librarian and assistant for the town's only library. That's also a tree. Neat.

As for Spike, they hit it off a lot quickly and soon became instant bros. Both found common grounds with their love of comics and cracking jokes. Wow, who would've thought that Gumball would've befriended a dragon or in this case, a baby dragon in his entire life? The closest giant reptile he tried to befriend was his school bully, Tina Rex. Man, he wished Darwin was here with him, he would've gone out of his mind (and gills, mind you).

"Thank ya kindly, Twilight, for helpin' me out. And the same goes fer ya as well, Gumball." Applejack said to the rest of the group.

The blue cat could only nod at the orange pony's gracious thanks, for he was too exhausted, gasping for air to utter a single word. It seemed that no matter what world he resided in, chores would always be his greatest enemy (besides homework, of course).

"Ah bet Big Macintosh that I could get all these Golden Delicious in the barn by lunchtime." Applejack stated as she gave a short hop while carrying two baskets filled with apples with mirthful glee. "If Ah will, he'll walk down Syrup Street wearing Granny's girdles." She says as she begins to chuckle to herself.

'Wait, seriously?!' Gumball thought in exasperation. 'I've wasted nearly half the day, helping picking apples, all for some stupid bet?!' then he stops for a moment to think about it some more, then nods to himself. 'Yeah, to be fair, I would love to see such a sight myself.'

"No problem, Applejack," Twilight said to her friend, "I'm glad the goal is lunchtime. All this hard work is making me hungry."

"I know, right!?" Spike exclaimed as he tossed an apple away, accidentally hitting Twilight on her head, making her look up at him with an annoyed glare as he gives her a sheepish smile. Gumball snickered to himself at the sight, to which Twilight just sighed in just a bit of ire.

"Ooh wee, Spike; you've been lounging on my back all morning while we worked." Twilight stated to the baby dragon, in mild annoyance, to which Gumball just nodded at the violet unicorn's words.

"Yeah..." Gumball began to say in a tired voice. "Exactly what she said."

"Exactly!" Spike confirmed as he looked at Twilight. "You two - er, three - worked SO long, I missed snack time!"

Before Twilight could speak, a loud rumbling noise could be heard, realizing that the sound came from her own stomach, to which Twilight chuckled sheepishly, much to Gumball's "cleverly hidden" chagrin. That was, until everyone heard his stomach rumbling a bit. Which led the others to look at him, and he started blushing in mild embarrassment.

"What!" Gumball spoke up, as he set down the baskets filled with apples, tiredly. "It's not my fault that I'm hungry. Besides, I think that it might do us good to have a snack break, right?"

"Well then," Twilight finally spoke up, "I guess it's time to get some food."

"Nope!" Spike said, as he continued to 'inspect' the apples once more, as he began to toss out more apples from Twilight's basket, until; "A-HA!" Spike pulled out a big, delicious looking apple from the basket showing both Twilight and Gumball, who both were looking at it in hunger, with the former licking her lips.

"Oh, Spike...it's delicious." Twilight said as she looked at the delicious apple.

"Spike, my dude..." Gumball said, as he began to move his paw towards the apple, hoping to prepare to feast on it. Well, that was the plan, until Spike quickly began to chow on the apple and ate it in one go, to which it disgusted the purple unicorn as she stared at the baby dragon devouring the tasty looking fruit.

"Spike!" Twilight exclaimed towards the baby dragon, who could only smile at the unicorn in a sheepish way.

Gumball looked on as he saw his new best buddy had eaten what could've been the most 'deliciously tasty looking apple in all of existence', which made the blue cat fall to his hands and knees.

'NOOOOOOOOO! Spike, you traitor, why?! Why did you eat something so delicious?!' Gumball thought to himself, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall. 'You knew how much I wanted that apple!'

Suddenly, Spike put both of his claws in front of his mouth, looking as if he was about to barf at any moment which caught the attention (and worry) of both Twilight and Gumball.

'On second thought...' Gumball thought to himself, as he quickly changed his attitude, looking at Spike, trying to not become sick at the sight. 'I've changed my mind.'

And just as Gumball thought that Spike was going to blow out some chunks, the baby dragon suddenly belched out a green flame, which then turned into a parchment that landed into the baby dragon's claws with the others looked on in a bit of awe, especially Gumball. Granted, he already saw that Spike had a talent in 'upchucking' letters from his stomach in a small green balls of fire from the first episode but still!

'As long as I won't end up being caught on fire from Spike puking out random scrolls, all will be 'gucci', or whatever Banana Joe told me once.' Gumball thought to himself.

Recognizing the scrolled up parchment and the magical aura that it radiates, Twilight finally spoke up. "It's a letter from Princess Celestia." And that response made the young blue cat perk up a bit.

"Wait, the princess had sent us a letter?" Gumball asked, with Twilight answering him with just a silent, yet firm nod. Then Gumball looked over to see Spike opening the parchment and cleared his throat before he began to read the letter with the others listening closely.

"Hear ye, hear ye! Her grand royal highness, Princess Celestia of Equestria, is pleased to announce the Grand Galloping Gala, is to be held in the magnificent capital city of Canterlot, on the twenty-first day of...uuuhh, yadda-yadda-yadda...cordially extends an invitation to Twilight Sparkle, plus one guest."

And those words brought nothing but excitement to the two mares as Twilight gasps in excitement as she and Applejack excitedly shout out loud unanimously; "The Grand Galloping Gala!" as they began jumping up and down in a childish sense of jubilee, much to Spike's sudden annoyed look.

Now, as for Gumball, seeing is how he obviously has no knowledge of the world of Equestria, (plus, being an ever curious cat) decided to voice a question to Twilight. "Uhhhh...what's a Grand Galloping Gala? Is it like some horse racing derby thing?"

Before Twilight could answer Gumball's question, Spike suddenly belched out another ball of fire, which soon changed into two golden tickets as he quickly grabbed them. "Look! Two tickets!" Spike said as he held them out for Twilight to see.

"Wow, great!" the purple unicorn excitedly exclaimed. "I've never been to the gala! Have you, Spike?"

The baby dragon only looked up at Twilight with a bit of an annoyed expression on his face. "No; and I plan on keeping it that way. I don't want any of that girly, frilly, fru-fru nonsense."

"Okay, can anybody here PLEASE, tell me what this Grand Galloping Gala thing is?" Gumball spoke up once more, hoping for someone to answer his question.

Twilight looked over at Gumball, with a small, yet excited grin on her muzzle. "Well to put a blunt summary of a description, the Grand Galloping Gala is a party for a lot of nobles and some royalties."

'Ah, a party for rich, uppity kinds of people.' Gumball thought to himself. 'Yeah, I'd rather stay in Ponyville and not risk going to Canterlot to deal with snobby, entitled horses all night long.'.

Twilight then looked down once more to talk to Spike; smiling a bit. "And come on, Spike. A dance would be nice."

"Nice!?" Applejack suddenly shouted in excitement, which caused Twilight and Gumball to jump in a bit of shock. "It's a heap lot more than nice! I'd love to go. Landsakes...if I had an apple stand set up, ponies will be tryin' our tasty apples until the cow's come home Do you have any idea how business ah could drum up for Sweet Apple Acres? With all that money, we could do a heap of fixin' up 'round here...we could replace that saggy ol' roof! And Big Macintosh could replace that saggy old plow. And Granny Smith...could replace that saggy, ol' hip!" she stated excitedly, as the smile on her muzzle began to get bigger and bigger, as she looked up at the sky imagining the chance to make money at the gala to help fix up the farm.

"Wow...Ah'd give my left hind leg to get to go to that gala." Applejack said as her imagination was working nonstop within her mind.

"Oh...well in that case;" Twilight spoke up to her friend as Gumball stood by her, listening to what Applejack had to say. "would you like to go to..."

"WHOA!" a familiar screech was made up above, as both Twilight and Applejack looked up long enough to see Rainbow Dash falling from the sky and landing on top of her friends, with many apples falling from the trees and onto the ground as the dust from the ground rose up, blanketing the three friends in a giant cloud of dust. All the while, both Gumball and Spike looked on, both showing some pity for the three ponies.

"Ooooh, that had to hurt..." Gumball muttered to his baby dragon friend, who could just nod at his statement.

As the dust subsided to see Rainbow Dash on top of both Twilight and Applejack, whom the both were laying on the ground, while the prism maned pony only sitting trying to get her bearings, before she started to speak to her friends.

"Are we talking about the Grand Galloping Gala?!" she asked, excitedly, before she could more of a chance to speak, Applejack only looked up at the cyan pegasus, with an annoyed look, all the while talking the same annoyed sounding tone in her voice.

"Rainbow Dash, you told me that you were too busy helping me harvest apples!" the country accented mare said, as she got up from the ground, all the while glaring at her friend who clearly lied about being 'too busy' to help a couple of friends out, to which, Gumball started to share his thoughts as well.

"Yeah, Twilight had to ask both me and Spike to come help out a bit on Applejack's farm, while YOU were probably 'working' so hard on slacking off. I could've had enough time to read the next issue of the 'Power-Ponies back at the library!" the blue cat spoke in an annoyed tone, which Spike followed up with a "Yeah!" from the #1 assistant from the purple unicorn, who said equine looked at Gumball with a mild deadpan look on her face.

"It's pronounced 'Spike and I', Gumball." Twilight exclaimed, trying to help her new friend some proper speech patterns, much to Gumball's annoyed sighing from having to be lectured yet again by the purple book horse. If he wanted someone to teach him some English sentence phrasing, he would've gone to summer school. But guess what? He didn't.

Applejack, all the while ignoring what Gumball had to say, continued to talk with Rainbow Dash. "What were you busy doin'? Spyin'?" she said as she squinted her eyes a bit at Rainbow, who then turned around to look away from the country mare.

"No, I was busy...napping." Only her friends and even Gumball could only sigh in annoyance about Rainbow's recent habit. "And I just 'happened' to hear that you have an extra ticket?" She asked Twilight, as she was floating a bit in the air, upside-down, smiling at her friend.

"Yeah, but-" Twilight answered, only for Rainbow Dash to quickly speak over the violet unicorn before she could speak more.

"YES! This is SO awesome!" the prism-maned pegasus exclaimed excitedly. "The Wonderbolts preform at the Grand Galloping Gala every year. I can see it now..." as she began to let her imagination soar.

'Great, we got ourselves a winged horse with Daydreamitus...' Gumball thought to himself, rolling his eyes on what the cyan pony was thinking of.

Rainbow began speaking once more, leading Gumball out of his own thoughts. "...Everyone would be watching the sky. Their eyes riveted on the Wonderbolts but then...Rainbow Dash!" she started explaining excitedly, as everyone continues to listen about her fantasy. "I would draw their attention with my Super Speed Strut!"

'Great, she's now giving names to some of her 'techniques'... Gumball thought to himself. 'Why not go the long run and name one the "Mega Mare Moonwalk"!' he thought for a moment, then shuddered. 'Yeah...best not to give her any ideas naming her flying skills.'

"Then, I would mesmerize them with my Fantastic Filly Flash!" Rainbow got more excited as she was calling out different flying skills that she could do, only for Gumball to subtly shake his head just hearing some dumb, equine related move-sets.

"And for my grand finale..." Rainbow spoke once more. "The Buccaneer Blaze!" she excitedly shouted the last name for her flying move, which, surprisingly, kinda impressed Gumball, seeing is that it doesn't have THAT much of a horse themed wordplay in the name but he wasn't gonna say a word about that. "The ponies would go wild! The Wonderbolts would insist that my signature moves would be incorporated into their routine, and then...welcome me as their newest member." Rainbow finished explaining her plans to everyone.

"Don't you see, Twilight? This could be my one chance to show my stuff. You've gotta take me!" Rainbow stated, as she floating in front of her friend's muzzle, to which Applejack pulled her away by grabbing Rainbow's tail with her tail, and set Rainbow Dash next to her.

"Dow hol' dup a pody pickin' minud here!" the rustic Earth pony said, despite having Rainbow's tail inside her mouth, then spat said tail out of her mouth. "Ah asked for that ticket first."

"So?" Rainbow looked at her friend, not deterred by what Applejack had gotten into her face, looking at her. "It doesn't mean that you own it."

"Oh yeah?" Applejack began to rebuttal back at Rainbow, "Well, Ah challenge you to a Hoof Wrestle. Winner gets the ticket."

Then both ponies moved towards a tree sump to bgin their 'Hoof Wrestling' match, while everyone was just shocked at how fast things escalated.

'Geez, and all for just one ticket, too!' Gumball thought to himself. 'I mean, if I had one, I'd probably sell it to someone else just to make some money.'

As both Applejack and Rainbow was busy with their 'squabble', Twilight got between the two in an instant. "Girls! These are 'MY' tickets. I'll decide who gets it, thank you very much."

'Oh no, Twilight...' Gumball thought to himself. 'You shouldn't have said that...'

"Whoever has the much better reason to go, should get the ticket. Don't you think?" Twilight asked both of her friends, who was listening to what she had to say, all the while, Gumball was fearing for Twilight's brand new upcoming dilemma that she created unintentionally.

'Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, she screwed up. Good job, Twilight.' Gumball thought to himself, as well as both his hands in his face, in hindsight, he was now ready to prepare for what today would bring to him, Twilight, Spike, their friends and the residents of Ponyville.

"Drummin' up business for the farm." Applejack explained honestly.

"A chance to audition for the Wonderbolts!" Rainbow Dash also explained honestly.

"Money to fix Granny's hip!" Applejack said, to one up her previous statement, and hopefully get the ticket before Rainbow does.

"Living the dream!" Rainbow said with equal passion as her last statement., which lead Twilight a bit torn on who exactly to chose between the two. I mean, they both have good reasons...much to Gumball's clear annoyed expression. Before Twilight, could speak, Gumball decided to intervene a bit.

"Yeah, um, Twilight. I think that we might have to finish up at the Library to organize the book catalogues like you were wanting to do. Ain't that right, Spike?" the blue young cat asked his dragon friend, to which he nodded in response. Hopefully, this would give Twilight a chance to think it over, as well as give her a helpful tip on how to deal with her current conundrum. Luckily enough, Twilight had agreed to head back and promised her two friends that she'll think about who will get the ticket.

And while as Gumball, Twilight and Spike was leaving the farm, the blue cat gave the two mares a farewell and also stated, "Don't call us, we'll call you!", which led both Rainbow Dash and Applejack to think of new ways (and do some favors for Twilight) to get that ticket.

TIMESKIP

Later That Day:

Now, back home, Gumball had dealt with many stressful days that came and went, however, during nearly his time in Ponyville, is a lot more chaotic and stressful for the young, blue cat boy.

Earlier, he was doing his best to help Twilight to make sure to give the tickets back to Princess Celestia, warning her that having those tickets might make their friends turn it into a contest on who'll be the one to go to the gala and make some problems later on. Which Twilight seemed to be reluctant to do so, seeing is that she promised her friends that she'd think it over.

That was until Pinkie Pie showed up as she overheard their discussion, and stated that she wanted to go just to experience the party and make it more better in hopes to have everyone or every-pony enjoying themselves. Which made another one of her friends that had a reason to go.

Then later, Rarity, who heard that Twilight had an extra ticket and clarified that she would love to go to the gala, to show off her clothing line of the aristocrats of Canterlot, all the while mingle with them and in hopes of meeting her dream guy; which is to be the Prince of Canterlot himself, Prince Blueblood. Gumball didn't know why he suddenly hated the sound of the name of the guy but he did.

Oh, and he saw Spike looked a bit uncomfortable when she speaks about another guy in that tone of voice. I mean, it was obvious that he knew Spike had a crush on Rarity, however, being the bro that he is, he can't help but wish Spike good luck with such an endeavor. I mean, if Gumball can attract his crush Penny, then so can Spike with Rarity.

The last of Twilight's friends to know was of course, Fluttershy, who came to know of the tickets, thank to her pet bunny/demon spawn, Angel Bunny. Gumball couldn't help but just wonder why that rabbit seemed to hate his guts for some reason. He remembered the last time Gumball went to Fluttershy's cottage to help her with the animals that she has in her home.

He figured that Fluttershy loved animals, however, even he didn't know that she practically was gonna help her deal with an entire zoo! Regardless, he went of his way to help her feed the animals. And one of them being Angel Bunny. The first time Gumball willingly went out of his way to feed the rabbit, the little demon all the time laid traps and pulled tricks upon the 'somewhat innocent' boy.

Fluttershy stated that he only acts out like that is because he's either jealous or doesn't trust new people that hangs around with Fluttershy. And boy, she wasn't kidding.

Anyways, when Twilight asked on what Fluttershy would do if she were to go, she stated that she wanted to see the Royal Garden, as well as the exotic animals that she wanted to see. Now, even though Fluttershy might not have been so vocal about it but even Gumball and Twilight knew that she wanted to go; which made Twilight even more stressed out on all of her friends wanting to go to the gala.

Honestly, Twilight should've listened to Gumball about his warnings, because now each of her friends are doing nice things for Twilight, so they can get the ticket to the gala. Boy, did he feel like making random predictions like Nostradamus (or was it Nosferatu?).

It ranged from Rarity making a dress, to Rainbow Dash making a large hole in the clouds during a rainstorm, so Twilight could eat lunch dry (which Twilight told her to not to, which got both Twilight and by extension, her lunch, wet), to Fluttershy and her animal friends cleaning Twilight library.

But wait! There's more! Apparently, Pinkie somehow let nearly everyone know that Twilight had an extra ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala and a bunch of the citizens have been asking to go with her for all their reasons!

So Gumball, Twilight and Spike managed to escape the crazy townsfolk and made it back to the Golden Oaks Library, however, Twilight's friends showed up and then started to argue on who should be the one that deserves to go with Twilight.

And seeing is how Twilight was trying to calm her argumentative friends down, Gumball had literally been running around town, having to deal with EVERYONE going crazy, all for some tickets, so Gumball on that night, made a decision that no one thought would ever happen in any lifetime...he'd have to act responsibly. All that he needed to to was to get everybody else's attention in a calm, collected manner.

"WOULD EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP?!" Gumball screeched as loud as he could, which got all of the Elements and Spike to look at him, speechless.

Nailed it.

"Geez! Look at you guys! You're letting a stupid ticket, an inanimate object...literally causing everyone in this place, to bicker back and forth in saying who should be the one to go with Twilight to this stupid gala! Just look at Twilight for crying out loud!" as he showed off Twilight to her friends, as they look at her stressful mood and behavior. "Honestly, if I had two tickets to go to some cool, super expensive party but I had to bring one of my friends. However, if my group of friends also wanted to go and try to hassle me in hopes of going, I'd rather give those tickets away! Because if I can't hang out with all my friends, then I wouldn't wanna go to some stupid party!"

All of the other Elements looked over at Twilight, as well as heard what Gumball said, and soon began to felt bad for both stressing out Twilight and annoying Gumball to the brink of losing what patience he had, each one soon began to apologize to the two for their actions, which Twilight nodded at them, showing that she forgives them.

"Now..." Gumball stated a bit more calmly "Since we got one situation solved, we must deal with the last one..." as he grabbed the two tickets and handed them to Twilight. "You know what to do, right Twilight?"

Twilight looked at Gumball for a moment, then looked at the two tickets in his paws, then looked up back at him with a smile. "Sure. I think I got it from here."

He then smiled as he felt the tickets leaving his paw, thanks to Twilight's magic, and walked back to the nearest table to sit on one of the wooden chairs.

"Spike, take down a note." Twilight calmly ordered the baby dragon, to which he quickly pulled out both a piece of paper and an ink quill and soon began to write on the parchment of what she would tell the princess.

"Dear Princess Celestia, I've learned that one of the joys of friendship is sharing your blessings. But when there is not blessings to go around, having more than your friends can make you feel pretty awful. So though I appreciate the invitation, I will be returning BOTH tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala."

"WHAT?!" her friends exclaimed both unanimously and loudly. Why, even Gumball was a bit shocked that she is willingly giving away two tickets that most ponies would pay a lot of money for. But he knew that if she isn't gonna be happy alongside with all of her friends at that party, then she can be happy with them by not going at all.

It'll all be fine in the end...hopefully.

Twilight turned to speak to her other five friends. "Well if my friends can't all go, then I don't wanna go either."

Gumball smiled a bit in pride of what Twilight stated to her friends. Man, who knew the bookworm of a unicorn could be so much of a renegade?

"Twilight...ya don't have to do that..."Applejack said as she looked at Twilight with a sympathetic look on her face.

"Nope, I've made up my mind." Twilight said, all the while smiling to her friends, then looked over at the baby dragon. "Spike, you can send the letter now."

Spike opened up the nearest window, then set the scroll that he made on fire with his magical fire, sending green magical mist towards the direction of the royal palace in Canterlot.

"Now you won't get to go to the gala, either." Fluttershy stated to Twilight.

"It's okay, everypony, I possibly wouldn't enjoy myself without my best friends there with me...so I would not rather go at all." Twilight assured, then she looked over at where Gumball was sitting and smiled at him. "For what it was worth, thank you for helping out with today, Gumball."

The young Watterson boy couldn't help but smile, while casually shrugging off Twilight's gratitude. "Don't worry about it. I mean, I just couldn't leave a friend hanging, right?"

Before Twilight could say anything else to Gumball, all the other five Elements came over to share the appreciation that Twilight had for all of them, giggling and laughing on what Gumball thought for it to look like a 'group hug' of sorts.

The only reaction that managed to make Gumball genuinely snicker to himself was Spike's barf hand expression at the disgustingly cute ways the mares were doing. Suddenly, Spike looked like he was about to barf something up.

'Deja vu, am I right?' Gumball thought to himself.

"Well, wallop my withers, Spike." Applejack said as she looked at the baby dragon with an unamused glare, while walking towards his direction.

"Um, Applejack, I don't think that Spike-" Gumball was about to warn the farming mare but was quickly ignored by the stubborn pony who continued to reprimand Spike.

"Isn't that just like a boy who can't handle the least bit of sentiments-WHOA NELLY!" was all she had to say, until Spike burped out a ball of fire, which then quickly turned into a scroll, that landed into the baby dragon's claws.

"A letter from the princess? That was fast." Twilight stated, curious on what her teacher may have said. Gumball, as well was just as curious, if not, more than Twilight was.

"Open it up and let's see what she say." Gumball called out to his fellow bro, to which all the others nodded as well at him.

Spike then opened up the newly delivered scroll in his hands as began to read the words out loud for all to hear. "My faithful student, Twilight, why didn't you say so in the first place?" then Spike opened the scroll a lot more, then was shocked at what was inside.

"Look! Six tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala!" Spike exclaimed to the others, both shock and surprise in his voice.

All of the six mares gasped in a mixture of shock and excitement for what transpired. The only one that didn't seem to show any excitement was indeed Gumball, who was dealing with a thought that never once crossed his young mind...

'I COULD'VE JUST ASKED TO SEE IF TWILIGHT WOULD ASK THE PRINCESS IF SHE WOULDN'T MIND SENDING MORE TICKETS FOR HER FRIENDS!' Gumball was starting to mentally cursing himself . 'WHAT KIND OF IDIOT DOESN'T THINK OF THAT?! Oh that's right...ME!' he then sighed to himself, trying to desperately shrug off what stress he still had left.

'You know what, it's fine. Now at least Twilight and the others can finally go to that rich horse people party like they wanted to. I should be glad for them all.' Gumball couldn't help but grin at the thought of the girls being happy that they get to go to the gala like they always wanted.

Suddenly, Twilight's stomach started to rumble, making the adorkable bookworm blush and chuckle in embarrassment.

"Allow us to treat you to dinner." Rarity spoke up, as she, Twilight and the rest of their friends started to walk out of the library, and into the night to get some dinner. And as each of the girls walked out, each of them grabbed their respective ticket from Spike's claw.

And as soon as the last ticket flowed out of Spike's claw, Gumball noticed that he looked a bit down, as if he was hoping that he could get to go as well. "How come I don't get a ticket to the gala?" Gumball heard what Spike said and stood up and walked towards his dragon bro, in hopes of comforting him. "You know what? Who really wants to go to such a fancy, shmancy party anyway? Why, I bet we could show those rich people how to throw a real party!"

He saw Spike look up him for a bit then smiled up at his words. "Yeah, maybe we can even-hmph!"

Gumball saw the telltale sign of seeing Spike barf up to another scroll, so he backed up to let Spike spew out what Gumball thought to be just one, when suddenly, he saw two. One of each fell into the paws and claws of both Spike and Gumball.

Before Gumball could on which scroll to open first, Spike already opened the scroll he was holding then began to read aloud. "And one for you, Spike." as he opened the scroll a bit more, then saw the familiar golden ticket which was now in his claws. Spike couldn't help but smile a bit giddily, which caused Gumball to smile down at him. "Lucky you getting to go to a fancy party."

Spike could only continue to smile as Gumball said, "Why don't you go ahead and follow the girls, while I check up on what this scroll has to say." to which Spike could only nod and then ran out the door to follow the rest of the girls.

Gumball took a moment to prepare for a moment in what the scroll would say (in case if it had big fancy words or stuff like that), then quickly opened the scroll and began to read what Princess Celestia had to say.

'Dear Gumball Watterson, I hope that this letter finds you well. You see, we never got to personally greet each other, during the whole Nightmare Moon incident. So, I took the liberty to make sure that I sent to you, one ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala. I hope to see you there whenever the night arrive so we may talk on exactly where you are from. I bet it would be an exciting topic to be discuss, along with my sister, who will be joining the gala as well. Hope to see you there.'

-Yours truly, Princess Celestia, Princess of the Sun and Co-Ruler of Equestria

Gumball's eyes widened a bit, not expecting the princess herself to send him a ticket to an aristocrat's social party meant for equines, yet when he opened the scroll a bit more, there he saw it: one golden ticket for the Grand Galloping Gala.

Now, Gumball knew that going to a party made for uppity nobles and royals would be a bad idea, however, it would also be a bad idea if he were to deny the princess' invitation. Besides, Twilight and all of her friends would never let it go, if ever.

'You know what? I'm willing to try something new for once. Let's just hope that it wouldn't be TOO much of a boring party.' Gumball thought to himself as he couldn't help but smile to himself.

After all, he was never one to turn down a party.
