Chapter 1

Josh Edwards looked around the large, almost endless jungle, looking for a source of food. As he scouted around the large, tangled area, Josh Edwards spotted a group of wild hogs grazing on a small patch of grass. Josh Edwards pulled out a bow and a stone-tipped arrow and aimed it at the wild hogs.

Suddenly, a loud, whoosing noise began to sound out as a helicopter began to fly towards Josh Edwards, who dodged the helicopter as it landed near him.

"Who's there?!" Josh Edwards questioned the ponies in the helicopter, who exited out.

"Josh? Is that you?" Princess Luna asked Josh Edwards.

"Luna!" Josh Edwards exclaimed as he ran up and hugged Princess Luna.

"I'm so glad you're safe, my boy..." Princess Luna cried tears of joy. As the two walked into the helicopter, Nurse Redheart went up to Josh Edwards and began to examine him.

"Did you have any illnesses? What sort of plants did you eat? Did you get bit by any animals?" Nurse Redheart asked a barrage of questions to Josh Edwards.

"I'm fine..." Josh Edwards sighed, trying to get some rest.

A few hours later, Josh Edwards stepped through the helicopter, awaiting a large crowd of people of people, barraging him with questions, flash photography, and film-cameras in his face.

"The media truly is a circus" Josh Edwards thought to himself as he walked towards his mansion, guided by a pair of guards. Inside was a grey and purple bat-pony mare, who looked at Josh Edwards with big, yellow eyes.

"JOSHIE!" The bat-pony mare exclaimed happily as she ran up and bear-hugged Josh Edwards, "You have no idea how happy I am to see you again!"

"I've missed you, Heartdance" Josh Edwards told Heartdance, shedding a tear in happiness.

"And I've missed you too, Josh" Heartdance smiled.

The next day, Josh Edwards began to come back to owning J-Corp, a mega-corporation that produced weapons for the Equestrian Army, vehicles such as cars and planes, and new innovations. Josh Edwards looked through a couple of newspapers, reading stories about pony-trafficking, foals going missing, and bad things in general.

"I wish that newspapers would tell us a story that weren't completely negative" Josh Edwards sighed as he put the newspaper in the trash as he walked through the rows of desks, and noticed a mare crying.

"What's wrong?" Josh Edwards asked the mare, who had a name tag which read Daisy Ivy.

"My foal's gone missing!" Daisy Ivy cried as she tried to work. Josh Edwards put her hand on her shoulder to try and comfort her.

"You can take the rest of the day, and tomorrow, if you want" Josh Edwards told Daisy Ivy.

"Really? Thank you..." Daisy Ivy thanked Josh Edwards as she walked out, still crying a bit.

"Could her missing foal be related to the pony-trafficking?" Josh Edwards asked himself as he walked to his office.

"How has your day been?" Princess Luna asked Josh Edwards.

"Do you think that the missing foals are related to the pony traffickers?" Josh Edwards asked but remembered he was being asked a question, "And I'm doing alright"

"I don't know" Princess Luna answered honestly.

"The police aren't doing anything about this, and I want to find out if the foals are being kidnapped" Josh Edwards stated.

"I don't think it's wise for a CEO to take the law into his own hands" Princess Luna responded.

"But if I won't, then who will?" Josh Edwards bluntly asked Princess Luna. Princess Luna looked down, trying to hold back tears.

"Your father used to work on unconventional weapons and innovations, one of which included a suit used for battle" Princess Luna informed Josh Edwards, "He called it the Silver Arrow suit, and it would rely on a high-tech bow and a set of trick arrows"

"May I see it?" Josh Edwards inquired.

Princess Luna sighed and led Josh Edwards down to a door, which only scanned when Josh Edwards put his hand on the scanner. When the door opened, it revealed a long, spiraling staircase, which lead down to a cave, complete with old, dusty computers, and large tube holding a silver and blue costume worn by a mannequin the same size as Josh Edwards, which was made of synthetic leather. On its face was a silver, edged domino mask.

"Your father used this cave to create new technologies that would change the world" Princess Luna explained to Josh Edwards.

"Figures, since he never spent time with his family" Josh Edwards thought to himself.

"Are you sure that you want to do this?" Princess Luna asked for Josh Edwards final decision.

"Yes" Josh Edwards decided as Princess Luna pressed a button, revealing a glass box that contained a silver compound bow, a set of thirty trick arrows, and a quiver that could hold all of them.

"Then...good luck" Princess Luna wished for Josh Edwards as he began to put on the suit...

A few hours later, at a seedy building, a pair of thug ponies were beginning to start a deal.

"I've got those foals, do you gots the money?" The first pony thug asked the second pony thug, along with a group of armed criminals.

"Yeah, those foals will good slaves for the boss!" The second pony thug exclaimed as the sound of a car engine could be heard outside.

"Who could dat be?" The first pony thug questioned as the armed criminals looked outside and found a grey and blue Pagani Huayra waiting for them outside. As the armed criminals began to approach the car, two net-launched popped out and trapped the armed thugs!

Back inside the building, the two pony thugs were waiting for their armed criminals to return, but only found someone in a silver and blue suit, the Silver Arrow suit.

"Who da heck are yous?" The first pony thug questioned the Silver Arrow, but got no answer. As the the two pulled out their guns, the Silver Arrow pulled out his bow and fired a pair of metal-arrows at their guns, destroying them!

"Aw noes!" The second pony thug moaned as the Silver Arrow knocked them both out!

The next morning, Josh Edwards was reading an article about how a bow and arrow wielding vigilante had stopped a group of pony-traffickers and returned the kidnapped foals to their parents. Princess Luna looked at Josh Edwards and smiled.

"I see it went successfully" Princess Luna congratulated Josh Edwards.

"It did, and I'm doing it again tomorrow night" John Edwards smiled.

Heartdance was walking towards her house, which was in the western part of Manehatten, near Central Park. Suddenly, a strange sound rang out, which startled Heartdance.

"What the heck was that?!" Heartdance exclaimed as she turned around and saw nothing.

"Why hello there" A voice called out to Heartdance.

"Who are you?" Heartdance asked the voice.

"It doesn't matter who I am, but it only matters what happens to you!" The voice laughed as someone knocked Heartdance out the blunt of a sword!

Meanwhile, at the J-Corp Headquarters, Josh Edwards sat at his desk reading files. In a way, he was happy to be able to get some work done that didn't involve hunting for his next meal or running away from predators.

"Josh, may I talk to you about arrow things?" Princess Luna asked Josh Edwards, as he began to walk with Princess Luna.

'Sure. But I've been meaning to talk to you about a few things" Josh Edwards responded.

"Like what?" Princess Luna asked further.

"The car, I think it sends the wrong idea about me" Josh Edwards answered, "The Pagani Huayra is something a guy in a mid-life crisis drives, also, what should we name my lair?"

"You're right...that's why I made you something else, and I think the Quiver works" Princess Luna smiled as they entered the Quiver, and Princess Luna pressed a button, revealing a armored, four-wheeled grey and blue assault vehicle. The wheels were rigid and rough, the frame was armored but still lightweight, and it had a turret on the top.

"It's awesome!" Josh Edwards exclaimed, "Thanks Luna!"

"Anytime, my boy" Princess Luna smiled, "This is what I like to call the Arrowblaster!"

"Arrowblaster, huh? Interesting..." Josh Edwards pondered, "What can it do?"

"Many things. For example, it's bulletproof, the wheels have wall stickers which can stick to walls, a pair of retractable blades on the front, two small missile launchers, a booster/flamethrower on the back, and there is also a pair of machine guns, just in case" Princess Luna told Josh Edwards.

"And that's why owning a company who makes weapons makes it easier to be a hero!" Josh Edwards exclaimed happily as his phone began to ring. The strangest thing was that the phone number was unknown, along with the fact that there was no caller ID.

"I have Heartdance, and if you want her back, I want three-million dollars" The same voice ransomed as the it cut.

"Well, I'll be out for a little bit tonight" Josh Edwards exclaimed as he began to put on the Silver Arrow suit!

A few hours later, Heartdance awoke tied to a chair, next to a man in a lightly-armored white and black suit. He had a pair of large shoulder pads, and a black plague mask.

"Who are you?" Heartdance asked fearfully.

"People call me a lot of things, like garbage who kills for money, but you can call me Dark Mantis" Dark Mantis introduced himself to Heartdance.

"Why did you do this?" Heartdance lowered her voice.

"Easy! I want more money, and ransoming a rich man's girl is the best way to get yourself rich and known in the field of assassins" Dark Mantis chuckled as he pulled out a sword and held it to Heartdance's neck.

"Sir! The Mantis Guard has found a strange car nearby!" The Mantis Guard Commander informed Dark Mantis.

"Interesting, I've got a feeling that a battle is coming" Dark Mantis laughed as he sent out his Mantis Guard to investigate.

Outside, the Mantis Guard went out and found the Arrowblaster sitting out of the building. As the Mantis Guard approached the Arrowblaster, the turrets began to fire at the Mantis Guard!

"Take cover!" The Mantis Guard Commander ordered his Mantis Guard as they hid behind trash cans and behind the Arrowblaster, which fired a searing blast of fire, burning the Mantis Guard! The Arrowblaster then fired of its missiles, striking down the surviving Mantis Guard!

Back inside the building, Dark Mantis was watching the small battle from outside his window, when an arrow was shot at him, though Dark Mantis grabbed the arrow with his hand.

"Silver Arrow, I presume?" Dark Mantis smiled as he looked at Silver Arrow, who was preparing to fire another arrow.

"You guessed right!" Silver Arrow happily exclaimed as he fired another arrow at Dark Mantis, who cut it with his sword!

"You seem like fun, and I bet killing you will make me famous!" Dark Mantis laughed as he jumped at Silver Arrow with his sword, to which Silver Arrow blocked with his bow!

"Where is Heartdance?!" Silver Arrow demanded to know.

"Why does it concern you?" Dark Mantis playfully questioned Silver Arrow.

"Doesn't matter, but what does matter is that you're going to lose!" Silver Arrow answered as he kicked Dark Mantis away, and then fired an arrow at Dark Mantis!

"This again?" Dark Mantis chuckled as he grabbed the arrow, which began to beep.

"I'm a one-trick pony!" Silver Arrow joked as the arrow exploded!

Silver Arrow looked around and noticed that Dark Mantis was gone, not exploded. Though Dark Mantis escaped, Silver Arrow looked around and found Heartdance tied to the chair.

"Who are you?" Heartdance asked Silver Arrow.

"A friend" Silver Arrow answered as he released Heartdance.

"Thank you!" Heartdance thanked Silver Arrow as she hugged him, making him blush.

The next day, Josh Edwards was cleaning his collection of cars when Heartdance sat next to him.

"Hey Joshie" Heartdance hugged Josh Edwards, "Did you hear about Silver Arrow?"

"Who?" Josh Edwards asked.

"Silver Arrow, the super-cool hero who saved me!" Heartdance informed Josh Edwards.

"Oh, he does sound cool, and his car is pretty cool too" Josh Edwards smiled.
