Nopony believed in any giants, well that all was about to change when a fearsome giant named Abiyoyo as told by Zecora comes to Equestria
Nopony believes in the story, but many zebras from Zebrica told them about it anyway for entertainment, especially Zecora. Abiyoyo, the most famous giant from Zebrica comes to Equestria, and causes some mayhem, and everypony is terrified by his size and appearance. However, they might realize that Abiyoyo might not be as bad as everypony thinks he is. Now it is up to the Elements of Harmony and Spike to stop this scary looking giant. Can they stop him, or will everypony be eaten?

NOTE: This is something I have always wanted to do. Since I love Abiyoyo when I was in kindergarten and first grade, I figured that I might as well put it to use, so please don't judge me for kind of liking this book.
Ponyville was just as peaceful as it can be. It was a beautiful and perfect day for all of the ponies and Spike everywhere for them to enjoy. Fluttershy was tending to a wounded pig by fixing his broken leg. "Here you go, Mr. Pigesely" she said to him, wrapping the last piece of a bandage around the swine's arm. The boar happily oinked a thank you to her. "Aw, yoy are very welcome." Said Fluttershy. "Just give it a couple of days and it will be all better." The pig oink ed happily and went off to roll around in the mud again.
After that was taken care of, Fluttershy felt something soft against her. It was Mary the lamb. She looked very sad for an unknown reason.
"What's wrong, Mary?" Fluttershy asked, kneeling to her level to make better eye contact with her. The lamb made several adorable bleats, and tilted her head sideways. "What? Oh you poor thing." Fluttershy exclaimed. "Here, let me give you something to drink from." She got a bowl of water and placed I in front of Mary so that she can drink. The lamb drank as much water to keep her hydrated. "Do you feel better?" Fluttershy asked her
The lamb bleated happily to her and nodded a yes in return.
"Good. Always happy able to help." Then the lamb pranced around the cottage with glee. While watching the lamb, she noticed the clock said eight fifty, and just remembered something. "Oh my goodness." She gasped. "I am supposed to be at the park because it's pet day and spend time with Angel." She looked at her animal friends and asked them "Wil all of you be okay if I was gone for a little while?"
They all said yes in their own language that only Fluttershy can understand.
The yellow pegasus smiled in relief. "Good." She felt a small foot being patted on her skin again and again. Se looked down, and it was Angel Bunny with am impatient face. "Okay, Angel, okay. Come on" the rabbit happily bounced on Fluttershy's back. She told all that rest her friends bye and went out the front door to the park.
In Ponyville, it was all peaceful and beautiful I'm the atmosphere. She looked back and forth at the sights of the town, and was smiling.
"Would you like a treat Angel?"
The rabbit gasped with excitement and begged for a treat like a dog would beg. Fluttershy giggled and said " okay okay. Here." She gave him a large carrot and he already horked it down his mouth in seconds. She was a little disgusted, but Angel was Angel, after all.
While walking, she noticed Zecora the zebra that lived in the Everfree forest near town, and the alchemist/herbalist. "Oh hello, Fluttershy, I notice you were passing by." She said noticing her.
"Hello Zecora. Where are you going?" Fluttershy asked curiously
"I am out on an errand to find. I am in need of some of a very special tool where i must go, and for I must warn off the creature called Abiyoyo. He is threatening my homeland, and I must see that this weapon of righteousness will make a firm stand."
Fluttershy never heard a name or a creature like that before. "Abi......yoyo?" Fluttershy asked. "Was he a monster?"
"Oh yes, but I might as well tell you about it another time of you do not really mind. I have to go on this errand and with this weapon i must send." Zecora answered.
Fluttershy was now scared but nevertheless, she said. "I would rather prefer of you didn't tell me about it, okay?"
"I understand." Zecora smiled. "If you do.not want to hear, then I promise I will not narrate my dear. Of course, Nopony believes in the story, and they did not worry. I don't care what they all have to say, for they all tell a out it anyway. Now you might as well keep Angel from waiting once again." Zecora said. "Farewell, Fluttershy, and if you want, we can spend time together or try."
"Okay, see you soon." Said Fluttershy. The zebra walked away as did Fluttershy. The yellow pegasus could not stop thinking about this "Abiyoyo" creature, and was terrified of it. But she remembered Zecora saying that soon believed in it, and should think the same thing. There wast Twilight, Owlicious, and Spike already at the park, but no sign of the others yet.
Twilight nodded her head while smiling, and Fluttershy giggled.
"Ah, here comes everypony else now." Fluttershy said. She was correct, their other friends were coming downhill with all their pets together, really happy to see their two best friends as usual.
"Hey Fluttershy, Twilight." said Rainbow Dash.
"Ready for some fun with our pets?" said Pinkie Pie.
"I know we are." said Applejack. Winona barked happily at her companion's response.
"Yeah, so am I." Said Twilight.
Now they all played with their animal companions, including Spike playing with the other pets. Opal, being snobbish as usual, just took a little nap on the grass under a tree in the shade. Fluttershy, still couldn't get her mind of this "Abiyoyo" creature that Zecora warned Fluttershy about. Was he for real? Or was he just a myth? Fluttershy didn't really know what to think, and didn't even want to know. "Angel, what do you think of this Abiyoyo that Zecora said?" She asked her rabbit friend
Angel shrugged "I don't know." In rabbit tongue. He also made the crazy gate about her, and made cuckoo clock noises while rolling his eyes in a crazy fashion.
"Angel!" Fluttershy scolded. "Don't be rude." Then she thought about his possible existance or not. "Well, i think that you are right. I shouldn't probably worry about it. Besides, Zebrica is a long way from here, besides I am pretty sure that Abiyoyo won't come here."
"Hey, Fluttershy." Said Twilight noticing Fluttershy in her thinking state. Spiie was right beside her, and Owlicious was perched on her back again. "Is everything alright?"
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"Well, you look like you are thinking about something, very deeply." Twilight commented.
"Well, i might as well tell you. Talking to your friends can be the best solution for solving problems." Fluttershy stated
Twilight smiled. "Good. So, what were you thinking about?"
"Well, you see- I- I met Zecora earlier befire I came here, and she told that she was looking for a weapon to hold off a giant named Abiyoyo."
"Abiyoyo?" Spike asked, then kind of snickered at the name. "What kind if a name is that?"
"He's a giant from Zebrica that many zebras believe to be a monster that would terrorize many villages and eat ponies up." Twilight
"How did you know that?" Fluttershy asked.
"I do research, remember?" Twilight chuckled. "I have books about almost everything."
"Oh right. I was worried that he would be a really big problem to Equestria, and she said that Nopony that is a zebra believes in him."
"Don't worry, Fluttershy." Twilight put a comforting hoof on Fluttershy's back. "He's just an old ponies tale. He won't bother anypony."
Fluttershy smiled. "I hope I wasn't too much of a coward about this.
"Oh no, it's okay." Said Twilight. "We can get scared like that sometime. It could happen to any of us."
Then they all played with the pets on the pet day, with Spike playing with Owlicious along with Twilight. Perhaps this could Fluttershy be more calm and just forget the old folktale that Zecora told her about earlier.
"Maybe Zecora was just brewing too much that she might have been too tired." Fluttershy thought to herself, giggling at the thought. She continued playing with Angel, and sometimes the others would play with the other pets, except Spike playing with Angel, because he didn't really like the baby dragon, obviously.
Later that night, Fluttershy was feeding all her animal friends dinner and made dinner for herself after she was finished. She looked around her peaceful cottage and smiled at how happy all her animal friends are. A thought came to her and went up to Harry, the large grizzly bear the lives inside.
"Harry, do you think this creature called Ummmm Abiyoyo is real? Fluttershy asked him.
The bear made soft growls in return with a shrug. In bear tongue, he said "I don't know" in reply. He made a another series of small growls and grunts saying "I do not even know what kind of creature he is." in his language
"Oh. I see. Why am I so worried about a folktale anyway? I have nothing to fear." Harry smiled at her. "I just need.... a cup of tea." she fetched herself some leaf herbal tea which recipe her grandfather created when she was a filly, and took sips nonchalantly to forget about what she was exactly worried about, and resumed to be happy with her life.
The Next Morning
Futtershy was spending ore time with his five, actually six, best friends including Spike by eating at Sugarcube Corner for some morning cupcakes.
"So, how do you feel, darling?" Rarity asked Fluttershy.
"Oh, I am doing just fine, Rarity." Fluttershy replied flatly. "Why do you ask?"
"Well Twilight told us about this.... 'Abi'- uhhhh 'obi'...... What that creature's name is."
"Abiyoyo?" Asked Fluttershy, who of course remembers the name so well.
"Yeah. That's it." Said Rainbow."
"We were a little worried about you when you were thinking about him." Applejack added. "You sure yer okay, Sugarcube?"
"I'm fine, Applejack."
"Good."
"But seriously, what kind of a name is Abiyoyo?" Rainbow started to silently snicker by that name. "It sounds like a terrible name for a rapper." Then she began to laugh a little more loudly
"Everypony has their own cultures and their own names, remember?" Said Twilight with an unamused look.
"You're right." Rainbow wiped a tear from her eye.
"Well, I would like to know, what do you all think of this...... Giant?" Asked Fluttershy
"Well, Twilight said it was an old ponies tale, and is not real darling, so do not worry. Besides. He would probably remaining in Zebrica if he was."
"Yeah, I don't really believe in him." Said Applejack
"Neither do I." Then Pinkie started to laugh out loudly while controlling her gut on the floor. "I'm sorry!" She said. "That name is just.... Coco loco." It was a nonstop series of laughing and the others gave annoyed and unamused looks all at once. "I'm sorry. I can't stop." She laughed,
"Don't pay attention to her." Said Twilight. "Everything will be fine." She smiled at her. And Fluttershy smiled back to her in return, them the others smiled along with them.
"So what should we do next?" Spike asked
"We could go to the spa." Rarity suggested
"Or the pet store." Fluttershy added
"Or sort out books in my room." Twilight said. They all glared annoyingly at her, and she gave a nervous smile. "Never mind, we can go help animals like Fluttershy suggested."
"Oh oh oh, we can go to Cloudsdale and you all can use that spell to make you walk on clouds, minus me, Twilight, and Flutters of course." Said Rainbow
"We could always use so,e extra help around the farm." Said Applejack. "But if you all prefer to be somewhere else, I understand."
"So do I." Said Pinkie happily.
They all thought of what they should do for fun now, and then they were interrupted by a call for help.
"Twilight, wherever could you be? You and your friends I must see!" It was Zecora that said that. They all went out of Sugarcube Corner and met with her.
"What's going on, Zecora?" Asked Fluttershy.
"It's him, for he is making the light of the sun a little dim." Zecora replied
"Who's he?" Asked Applejack.
"Going near him without a fight you must never go, for it is Abiyoyo."
""Abiyoyo?!" They all exclaimed in unison.
"Wait, how do we know you are not trying to pull a prank on us, or have you been drinking some potions lately?" Said Rainbow Dash, unconvinced about this.
"You all must open your eyes!" Said Zecora. "For what I am telling all of you are not lies." They all realized that by the look of her face, she was telling the truth.
"She's right." Said Applejack. "She ain't lying."
"Where is he?" Asked Twilight.
"Follow me. Meet him in the flesh you shall see." They all ran and followed the zebra to this giant, whatever he may look like.
They all went to the outskirts of town and Zecora stopped at the location where she saw Abiyoyo, but niw, he is nowhere to be seen.
"Where did he go? I wish I have known." Zecora cursed at herself.
After that, they heard footsteps that were loud as thunder and powerful as a small earthquake shaking the ground. They all looked and saw a large, humanoid-like monster that had grey skin and monstrous like features.
Yes, there was Abiyoyo.
The group was half disgusted and horrified by his appearance and size. "Wow, he's buve." Said Rainbow Dash.
"Those really long, unkempt fingernails." Said Twilight
"Those sharp slobbery teeth." Fluttershy said in a shaky voice
"Those unkempt matted hair on his head." Spike added
"Ugh, and those stinky feet. Honestky, doesn't this giant know what a bath is?" Said Rarity with disgust while covering her nose from the smell.of the giant's feet. Indeed, Abiyoyo did look monstrous, and had a few jagged teeth from both jaws escaping his mouth. He looked like some creature that was a little more stupid than a Diamond Dog would be, and they are classified as one of the most least intelligent races in all of Equeatria, along with one of the most hated of them as well.
Abiyoyo looked down at the ponies and Spike and had a foolish grin on his face. Then, what he noticed was the yellow pegasus, which was, indeed, Fluttershy, who was helping some squirrels get to safety from him. Then he reached out his large beefy hand to Fluttershy and picked her up slowly as if he wants her to be his toy like am action figure or a doll. Before they all knew it, he had her in his grasp, like a child picking up a toy to play with or a little boy about to eat a worm fr a snack.
"Ahhhhh!!!! HELP!!" Fluttershy screamed at the top of her lungs, being more scared than ever.it was like being caught by one of her most feared things in the world: an adult dragon, but maybe worse than one as well.
"Fluttershy!" They all exclaimed with terror.
Rainbow flew to Abiyoyo's level and met eye contact with his own. "Put her down you monster!" She ordered him. However, the giant swatted her With His hand, and threw her to the ground on impact, crashing into the others, minus Spike, like bowling pins.
The baby dragon ran away while the others were regaining their senses from being dizzy.
"Pretty pony." Said the giant in a low, bellowing voice. Then he walked away with Fluttershy in the grasp of his grasp.
Twilight saw this, and was about to stop him when she was stopped by Zecora
"No! Going to confront him while in this size will no Longer make you alive." Zecora said.
"But, what About Fluttershy?" Said a really desperate Pinkie Pie.
"We will save Fluttershy, but even some things for a solution would have to do with time." Zecora replied. "Come with me to my hut, and find Spike, for I will have an idea that you all more than like." There was nothing they could do right now, for they are powerless for this colossal beast, and had to listen to to Zecora for a plan since she and her kind know more about Abiyoyo than anypony else in all of the earth.
Then they searched for Spike until they found him hiding in a berry bush, and went to the hut for a plan.
"Don't worry, Fluttershy." Said Twilight. "We'll save you."
Fluttershy was scared silly in Abiyoyo's grasp. She was forced to listen to the giant's footsteps thumping across the fields like a series of earthquakes going crazy. She whimpered and was speechless during the whole forceful travel with him. The giant didn't held onto her very hard with his big meaty hand, and was actually a little gentle on her.
"Um- mr. Abiyoyo?" she said to him.
"Hmmm?" the giant replied to her curiously
"Um, where are you taking me exactly?" she squeaked
"Me take you to my home." the giant replied to her in a low voice.
"And- are you going to eat me? because I tell you I do not taste like chicken or anything delicious." Fluttershy said with a nervous smile
"Oh me not going to eat you, little pony." said Abiyoyo.
Fluttershy was a little relieved that Abiyoyo was not going to eat her, but then she thought maybe it might be something worse than being eaten alive, like being treated as his toy or a pet. She decided not to think about it for a little while since it will only worry her more. For now there was nothing she can do, but be held by the giant's mighty hand.

Finally after many many miles of walking Abiyoyo stopped in front of a large cave bigger than himself in a small mountain in a green field. "Ah, home sweet home." said Abiyoyo.
Fluttershy felt some motion sickness inside her, and felt like she needed to throw up. She covered her mouth, trying to hold it in. "Oh my goodness." she said. Then she vomited out of the giant's him without him looking. Of course, the behemoth just ignored it and then walked inside his cave.
when the went a little farther into the cave, there was a semi large bonfire in the center of the cave. The interior actually looked very nice for Fluttershy, and she expected it to be filthy with many spikes in it, looking all scary and such for a monster like this one. There was also a stone bed with leaves for blankets and a large log for a pillow
When Abiyoyo stopped, he gently put Fluttershy down on the floor and said "Here you go, pretty pony. Here is your new home."
"My... home?" asked Fluttershy confused. "You mean you want to keep me as a pet?"
"Oh no no. Me not want you as pet." Abiyoyo replied with his foolish grin. "Just a friend."
"Oh. Well. I see." Fluttershy didn't exactly know what to say at the moment. Last time she remembered this monster, he ate ponies and other living animals for lunch, and was a menace to Zecora's home before he got sealed away completely, and had quite a reputation for terrorizing the zebras in many Zebrican villages. Now instead of Abiyoyo eating her for a snack, he gives her a home? Fluttershy heard her stomach growling.
"Ah, me thought you would be hungry." Abiyoyo walked up to a large bale of hay and gave a small handful for her to eat without starving. "Here you go, little pony. Fresh hay for you."
"Umm thanks?"
"You're welcome." the giant replied. "Now me eat me own dinner." he pulled out a dead cow, goat, a Kudu, and deer. It was too much for Fluttershy to bear, even though the carcasses weren't covered in blood or weren't showing any guts. She fainted from the sight, leaving Abiyoyo confused. "Oh? what's wrong, little pony?" he looked at her closely.
Fluttershy regained consciousness and replied. "I... I hate it when when I see dead animals," she replied
"Oh. Me sorry." said the giant with a little guilt. Then he thought of an idea. "Me go a little far away from me cave, and me eat it without you watching me."
Fluttershy felt a little relieved. "How did... how did they even die?" she asked
"Oh they were already dead when me found them. was not easy because there were a bunch of vultures and jackals trying to take them from me since they are scavengers, but they were just flies to me." His stomach growled that it gave a small rumbling in the cave. "me need to eat now. Do not worry, me will be back." Then the giant stepped out of his humble abode to eat his lunch without trying to scare Fluttershy so much. It sounded like he really didn't want to let her go.
She had time to think things over: what if Abiyoyo was not really evil? What if he is not the monster everypony thinks he is? But aside from that, she thought of her friends and how they are pulling through.
At Zecora's hut, she, Twilight, Spike, and the others were coming up with a plan to save Fluttershy from the claws of the giant they just encountered
"So, let me get this straight." said Rainbow. "This 'Abiyoyo' guy has terrorized many Zebrican villages before and tried to eat many zebras?"
"Indeed, whenever Abiyoyo was close in a town's view, then unless we had something to stop him, then you would surely be doomed." Zecora replied. Now the others were quite concerned. What if he comes back and eats everypony in Ponyville?
"So how do we get Fluttershy back?" asked Twilight, really determined to get her back
Zecora pulled out a small staff or a wand to be exact. "We must use this magic wand and this ukelale, my dear, for if we can get him to lie down, we can make him disappear."
Spike thought of this because he did hear about Abiyoyo before Zecora told them about it. He didn't really feel like telling his friends about it, because he just didn't feel like it, or thought he would be real either. "Umm, guys?"
"Yeah, Spike?" said Twilight. She and the others payed attention to him now.
"I know what she is talking about." Spike said. "I didn't think he was real either, but I know what the ukulele is for."
"You do?" said Applejack
"You know about this giant?"
"Yeah, I read his tale many times over and over a while ago." Spike replied.
"That's brilliant!" said Pinkie Pie.
"Indeed, That is exactly why i called you here too, Spike, for this might be a plan you would really like." said Zecora. "Because you are capable of playing a ukulele, you may be able to help us save the city. If you can play a song for him until he is fully tired, we will make him disappear while he is weary from the song of his name by desire."
Almost all of them were very astounished about the idea, well, except Twilight however
"Wait a minute." said Twilight. "I don't know if Spike should do this."
"Why not?" asked Rainbow. "He can help us stop that monster from terrorizing Ponyville."
"I know I know but.... I don't want him to get hurt." Twilight said, very worried about her dragon friend.
"Come on, Twilight. I'll be just fine. You got to trust me." Spike begged, putting his hand on twilight's back for comfort. "Besides, you guys will be there to back me up."
"You're.... you're right." said Twilight. "I'm just worried about this. But, if you can do this I believe in you, Spike. You o know about Abiyoyo almost as much as Zecora."
Spike nodded a yes. "Alright. Come with me, guys."
"Spike, just please stay with us, for we do no want you to go completely nuts." Zecora reminded.
"Yeah Spike, please stay with us." said Rainbow
"I definitely do not want that creature to hurt your cutesy-wutesy face." Rarity added
"Don't worry, I am staying with you guys." Spike said. "But I think you should help me, Zecora, for you know about Abiyoyo more than you do since he is from Zebrica."
"That is true, stop him at the same time together we will do." Zecora said proudly. They all got out of the cottage, and Zecora locked it of course, ran through the Everfree forest unscathed, and they all ran across the fields.
Back in he cave, Fluttershy was just sitting near the bonfire and Abiyoyo was sitting next to her, pressing his hands against the warmth of the fire.
"Ummm, mr Abiyoyo?" The giant looked at her, wanting to hear what she wanted to ask him. "Why did you bring me here?" She hoped that she didn't offend him or get eaten by him.
"Me heard about you little pony."
"Sorry to I terror, but.... My name is Fluttershy." She said in a nervous voice.
"Oh, sorry. Me have heard about you, Fluttershy." Abiyoyo continued. "You are the kindest creature in all of this world."
Fluttershy blushed. "Well- I- I am very mind to all creatures."
"Right. Now me just wanted a friend for me to have."
"Where are your other friends?" Asked Fluttershy. In her head she said to herself "why did I even ask him that?"
The giant didn't eat her, but he bowed and gave a sad sigh. "Me no have any friends."
Then Fluttershy started to have some sympathy. "You..... Don't have any friends?" She asked him.
The giant nodded his head a no in return.
"Why not?"
Abiyoyo stood up and walked up to his mirror. "Many ponies and animals get one good look at me and they all go 'Ah! Run for your lives, Abiyoyo is coming!' Or some might say 'oh no, Abiyoyo will eat us all!' In some cases." He sighed. "They judged me before they all know me."
Fluttershy started to have more sympathy for the behemoth now. She flew up in front of his face. "I.... I am so sorry that you do not have any friends." She said to him in a comforting voice
"It's okay, Fluttershy." Abiyoyo sighed.
"Why don't we go outside for a moment." Fluttershy suggested
"Okay." He followed Fluttershy outside and were in front of his cave.
"What made everypony think you were a monster?" Asked Fluttershy
"Because me eat other animals." Abiyoyo replied. "Me not want to hurt living animals, but me want to eat meat."
"Don't you eat other food besides me."
"Oh yes, but meat is my main source for staying alive. Me try to make friends but everytime I try to meet other ponies, they all run away from me, scared and hateful to me. Me decided that if they will not be friends then they will be food instead." H started to sound a little more angry. "They all think me am a monster. A monster no pony wants to be with."
Fluttershy felt a small heart piece cracking in her chest. She was now more sorrier about him, and felt really guilty for thinking he is a monster. "Listen, you are not a monster. You are just a little misunderstood."
"What do you mean?" Asked Abiyoyo.
"There is a saying: 'never judge a book by it's cover' many of those zebras and ponies are a little misunderstood because of your behavior." Flutterhsy continued. "You just need to show people that you are not what they think they are."
"Me don't know. Your friends were trying to attack me."
"They were just scared. Especially Zecora."
"That zebra was trying to get rid of me."
"You just need to realize that they were just scared. Maybe if you can make a more gentle approach to everypony, then maybe they will like you."
"Really?" Asked Abiyoyo, starting to smile.
"I am positive. You'll be with me. I think I can call you, a new friend to me."
"Oh come here, new friend." Abiyoyo pulled him close to his face and hugged her with her hands.
"Fluttershy!" Called a voice. They both looked below and they saw Twilight, Zecora, and the others in front of them, ready to fight the behemoth.
"Don't worry, Fluttershy. We'll help you!" Spike said. He pulled out the ukulele and played it. He sung "Abiyoyo Abiyoyo. Abiyoyo Abiyoyo. Biyoyo Biyoyo." The he repeated the chorus. The giant started to dance to the rhythm again, and sang along. When Spike played it a little faster, he eventually got tired, and fell down on the ground
Fluttershy was a little confused about what was going on, but decided that this had to stop. The giant fell flat on the ground and the others cheered for his downfall.
Zecora stepped on him, and said "Abiyoyo, you will not die, but I am afraid we must say goodbye." Before she could say "Zoop!" To make him disappear.
"Waaaaaaaiiiiiiiiitttttt!!!!!" Flutterhsy exclaimed. Everything was silent.
"Fluttershy, what are you doing?" Asked Twilight little mortified by this.
"He is not a monster." Fluttershy said. "He's just misunderstood." She looked at the giant and then her friends again. "He took me because he just wanted a friend to keep him company. Maybe he comes to villages because he just wants a friend, but yoy all think he is a monster."
"What about him eating sheep and cows?" Asked Applejack confused
"He just needs to eat to survive." Fluttershy answered.
"So you are saying that he is a friendly giant?" Asked Twilight
"Yes. He may look a little scary, but he is actually a really sweet giant." Fluttershy said. She got off of her new friend so that he can stand up. "Please, do not be afraid of him. He is.... my friend."
The others did not know what to say about this. By the look of her face, they do realize she was telling the truth.
"Do you think he just needs to be taught about friendship?" Asked Pinkie Pie
"Of course he does, Pinkie."
"I don't know if I like this, Fluttershy, but we understand yoy are telling the truth." Said Twilight.
Abiyoyo then sat up and looked at Fluttershy. She gave him a nod telling him "yes, do it." The giant gave a little sigh while bowing his head. "Me sorry." He said.
Zecora and the others didn't think he would actually say that, but they just heard him out anyway. "You're...... sorry?"
Asked Rainbow
"Yes. Me never had any find before. I do eat meat, but because me need the meat. Me never wanted to hurt anyone, zebra or pony. Or dragon" Spike flushed at his comment, a little happy for him to mention his race.
"So, Abiyoyo, yoy just want to have some friends?" Twilight asked
"Yes." Abiyoyo replied. "No one likes me, and not nice to me. Please. Show me the way of friends. Me really want to now what friendship is."
Thy were all thinking about what they should do with the behemoth. Finally, Twilight said "well, I guess we can show you the ropes." Then se smiled. She looked at her friends and asked them "what do you all think?"
"Sure I would love a giant for a friend!" Said a very excited Pinkie Pie
"Well, i think we can show him what he needs, since we reformed many bad guys to good guys" Applejack noted
"Applejack may ne right. A giant for a friend might not be so bad." Rarity said with a smile. Then she got a disgusted look when she smelled his feet again. "But I do say he really needs a bath."
"I guess we can give it a shot. Fluttershy's right, he doesn't look that scary after all. To be honest, I think he is cool."
"I agree with Rainbow. Maybe we can find a while new giant underneath him." Spike added
Zecora was the one who was the most reluctant of xourae, but she said "very well, reform he we shall do, but realize Abiyoyo, I got my eyes on you."
"Well make sure he doesn't eat anypony." Said Fluttershy. "Now come on, Abiyoyo. Why don't we show you Ponyville.
"Yeah, you will like it." Rainbow added
"It's going to be fun." Pinkie bounced
Abiyoyo smiled and was really touched by their kind words. "Thank you all so much. Me will learn friendship." He stood up and they all went back to Ponyville.
Back in Ponyville, many of the townsfolk were worried about Abiyoyo coming back and trying to to eat then as snacks once again. Then, they heard a faint thumping that became more powerful a d louder with each step. They saw a figure that was becoming larger and more clearer in their view. Then, as they expected, it was Abiyoyo.
"Run for your lives!" Screamed Lyra. She and a large number of the inhabitants ran in the opposite direction and hid in many parts of town.
Many of them hid in barrels, the well, and under some things like rocks, and hard to reach places where the giant will never try and catch them in his grasp. The ones who decided not to hide stood their ground, ready to fight him at all costs. They all mildly stood down when they saw Fluttershy, and her friends, along with Zecora next to her, smiling and walking in front of the giant.
"Attention Ponyville." Twilight announced ahead of the group. "We have brought Abiyoyo to us so that we can be friends with him."
"What? You led that monster right to us, princess?" Said Mayor Mare.
"He is not a monster." Fluttershy protested. "He is a real sweetheart once you get to know him." She looked at the monster, smiled at him, and made a cute wink telling him that everything will be alright. Abiyoyo made his foolish grin on his face again.
"Don't worry." Twilight continued. "He will not eat you. I promise you he won't. We can teach him how to be a better giant."
"Come on, Abiyoyo, you must be brave and pull through, for they will feel better if they personally meet you." Zecora encouraged the giant.
The behemoth then slowly stepped forward and sat on the ground with a thud, with his legs in a crossing position. "Hello." He said. "Me name is Abiyoyo. Me not come here to eat you. Sorry if me was trying to eat you earlier. Me not evil, just looking for some food to eat." He noticed a green earth colt slowly walking up to him, getting a closer look at him.
"Stinger, don't go near him." The colt's mother warned, trying to stop him. "He'll eat you alive."
"It's okay, mom." The colt said. Then he got a good distance I'm front of the behemoth. Then he pulled out a chocolate bar out of nowhere from behind him. "Would you like some candy, mr. Abiyoyo?" He said, reaching the candy bar to him.
"Ooooohh." The giant slowly reached his fingers down, and the ponies were becoming scared again. However, he only took the candy, not the child. The he threw it on his mouth. "Ooh, peanuts." He said. "Me love peanuts. Thank you, little boy."
The colt smiled as did the others, starting to warm up to him now. "Your welcome." The colt replied to him. Then some of the townsfolk began to feel a little more and more comfortable. Fluttershy and her friends smiled, and were really happy to see Abiyoyo being befriended by everypony else, even Zecora was glad since she had known about him in or around Ponyville better than anypony else.
"It's workin." Said Rainbow. Everypony is starting to like him already."
"Yeah, maybe he is a gentle giant after all." Said Applejack
"Do tell us, Zecora, what do you think?" Rarity asked the zebra.
"Well, I do say that I was with you all to help, for it turns out that your plan a fluttershy is going perfectly well." She answered.
Fluttershy blushed and smiled. She flew up to the giant, and asked him "see, that wasn't so hard, wasn't it?"
"Nope." Was all the giant replied, smiling back to her in return with his foolish grin.
"So, Abiyoyo, would you like us to show you around town?" Twilight offered
"Me would be delighted." Abiyoyo replied.
"Well, first thing is first, darling." Said Rarity stepping up. "I hope I am not offending you, but you really need a bath Abiyoyo." She looked at his jagged teeth with disgust along with his matted hair. "Oh, and a good pedicure would do to make you smell a lot nicer." Then she had a disgusting thought of trimming his fingernails and cleaning his feet, and thought of how disgusting and filthy it would be. "On a second thought." She said changing her mind "perhaps you and the rest can help him."
"Well that is kind of you, Rarity." Said Fluttershy. "But why not you?"
Rarity zoomed in Fluttershy's ear and whispered in a voice that Abiyoyo could not hear her say it. "You seem his teeth haven't you?" She said to her. Fluttershy nodded a yes in return. "And you noticed how awful the stench of his feet are?" She nodded again.
"Alright, but you are till going to help him get a pedicure, just for our own sakes." Said Pinkie
Rarity made a small growl. "Fin." She said under her breath.
"Well, me could use a bath." He thought. "But, do me really stink that awful?"
"Frankly, yes." Said Spike. "Being clean will help you make more friends."
"Me suppose that is true. Okay, me will take a bath, but me would need a really big bath tub for me to sit in."
"You're not wrong." Said Twilight. "Come with us and I can conjure one for you so that we do not need to build one."
"Okay." The giant got up slowly and followed Fluttershy and her friends to wherever they might take him next. They all stopped on a plain in the park, and Twilight conjured a large bath tub with a large pink drape.
"Well, here you go." Said Twilight.
"Thank you." He took off his one piece clothing with a button on one shoulder and another one unbuttoned, and some of the townsfolk closed their eyes so they wouldn't have to see the giant in his birthday suit, and then reopened them when he got in the tub. "Oh, that feels good." He said in relaxation. Fluttershy went over him and decided to help clean him up by using shampoo on his hat and putting soap on him. Of course, since he has massive size, Fluttershy needed the help of Rainbow Dash and Twilight, and some of the other pegasus ponies that lived in Ponyville.
"Oh wow, you got really messy hair, Abiyoyo. You really need to take better care of yourself." said Twilight.
"Sorry, me can take care of myself. Me go out and hunt for food to eat." the giant replied.
"She means like hygiene, big guy." said Rainbow
"Oh, what's hygiene?" asked the dumbfounded giant.
Rainbow dash facehoofed her face with mild frustration, and continued trying to do his hair. "It's.... complicated, I'm not an egghead like Twilight is."
"Hey." Twilight said with offense. Abiyoyo chuckled at Rainbow's comment, and covered his mouth while snickering.
"Sorry." the giant said
"I was just kidding, Twi. Nothing personal." Rainbow remarked
Twilight smirked and nodded her head. "Okay. I know." And then she resumed cleaning the dirty giant.
Meanwhile outside of the drapes, Pinkie, Applejack, Zecora, Spike and Rarity were having a little conversation about what they should do with him first to adapt to a normal peaceful life in Ponyville. "So, when Abiyoyo gets out, what should we do, like what fun thing should we tell him about?" asked Pinkie
"Well, I could definitely make some new clothes on him. That clothing he is wearing just looks so dirty and, eh." Rarity suggested.
"You and your ideas, Rarity." Applejack smirked. "You and your ideas."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Rarity asked suspiciously
"I'm just kidding, Rare." Applejack chuckled. "I think that is a good idea."
"Oh."
"Ooh ooh! or I can throw him a party and show him how to have fun!" Pinkie said in excitement.
"Like what?" asked Spike
"We can make cakes together, or we can have ice cream together and have cupcakes." Pinkie bounced.
"Or.... I can show him my home, he is big as a tree like Zecora said, so maybe he can be a big help with the apple harvesting." Applejack said with an idea
"Well, wi his new kindness shown, maybe I can probably show him my original home." Said Zecora. "I can show everypony that live there that Abiyoyo is a gentle giant, when we get the chance or feel like it, we can most certainly try it."
The others around her smiled at her thought.
"Yeah, and show em that Abiyoyo is not a mean meanie monster, and a rather sweet and funny one." Pinkie giggled
"It would be nice if Abiyoyo would have more and more friends with him from getting so lonely." Rarity added.
"I hear ya, Farity, but why don't we just start with Ponyville."
"Right." The all said in unison
"Okay, we're finished." Fluttershy called to the ones that were not helping her with the shower. They felt two small quakes caused by Abiyoyo's steps trying to get out. The drapes opened and it revealed the giant in a towel on his lower body.
"Me feel so.... Cleaner." Said Abiyoyo, noticing the nice smell the shower gave him and replaced his body odor.
"We... Still need to trim your fingernails." Said Fluttershy
"What?!" Rainbow exclaimed. "Forget it. I am not clipping those blades.'
"Oh come on, Rainbow. He just had a bath." Said Twilight.
"Me won't hurt you with me claws. Me promise."
"They do look a little...... Disgusting, but maybe I can try and fix that." Rarity stepped up to volunteer. "Abiyoyo, can you please be a dear and sit on the ground?"
"Okay." He slowly sat and another thud was felt and another quake was felted by the others who were not him.
"Good, now try to spread your arms out a little more, darling." Said Rarity. The giant did what she told him to do, and stretched his arms in front so that Rarity van get a good view of the long nails. Rarity looked with absolute disgust and stuck her tongue, but she just ignored it and remembered that she was doing it for a new friend. "Now, hold still."
She conjured a large pair of clippers and placed it on front of his first fingernail. The giant looked a little nervous about this. "It's okay, Abiyoyo." Said Rainbow.
"I won't hurt." Applejack addd
Then there was a snip, and the first one was off. Abiyoyo felt more calm and felt no pain at all like the others said it wouldn't hurt. Then he felt his second fingernail being clipped off. "Ha ha ha, that tickles." He said while giggling under the touch of the clippers.
Rarity was trying to be careful on trying to clip the last claw. Then after the clip, she was finished. "There, that out to do it." She said proudly before vanishing her aura clipper.
"Thank you, Rarity." Abiyoyo said to her.
"You are very welcome, Abiyoyo. I was happy to help you with those claws."
Then Abiyoyo got up. "So what should we do next?" He asked while scratching his head with his now clawless finger.
"Well, we can show you my cottage if you like." Fluttershy suggested
"Okay." Then he followed his new friends to the cottage. When they reached the olace, many of Fluttershy's animals panicked when they saw Abiyoyo and hid in many parts inside and outside. Some if them dug in new burrows, and a few others went inside the cottage panic room just below.
"It's okay, critters." Fluttershy said. "This is Abiyoyo. He is a really nice and sweet giant. Isn't that right?"
"Hm-mmm."
"Good. Go on, introduce yourself and meet to my animal friends."
Then the behemoth slowly sat on the ground again and waited for any creatures to come up to him. The first one to come out was Angel, who was quite frightened and felt sorry too Fluttershy for not being her about him being real.
"Bunny!" The giant exclaimed, noticing Angel.
"Try not to raise your voice. It might scare them." Said Twilight. "Just lower the volume, please"
"Oh. Sorry." Angel slowly crawled up to Abiyoyo, and sniffed his leg and his one piece clothing with one button strap. The rabbit then climbed up to his leg and examines him some more. After seeing this interaction, the other animals slowly came up to him too, and all went up to his leg as well.
Many birds examined him from above and go a better view of his face.
"Oooh, birdies." He said. Then he felt the small feet and talons of the birds landing on his shoulders. The giant began to light from the tickling of the feet and talons. Now they were all getting along with hi just as fine as everypony else was.
"Well, they love him." Said Pinkie with excitement.
"Yeah, now they think he is cool too." Said Rainbow.
"Hello little animals." Abiyoyo said in a low but still rumbling voice. "Me like all animals and me a good friend of Fluttershy."
Many animals replied to him in their own languages, and of clurse, he couldn't really understood what they were all saying to him. What matters was that they weren't rude to him and they liked him as they were gentle and happy in their reply.
"They said it's nice to meet you." Said Fluttershy.
Abiyoyo smiled.
"Oh, now we should throw a party for him to celebrate his arrival." Pinkie suggested
"What is this.... party?" Abiyoyo said a little confused
Pinkie gasped in disbelief and loudly. "A party is a really awesome activity when you can talk with your friends eat food and throw celebrations.
"Really? Me not have been in a party before."
"Well now you will be in one for the first time, big guy."
Back in town, the party commenced and the music blared outside. Of course it wouldn't really be inside since Abiyoyo was top big to fit in most of the towns houses. Nevertheless, he was having fun just as Pinkie planned.
"So what do me do first?" The giant asked.
"Well, first we should probably talk with some of the other ponies." Said Pinkie
"Okay."
"Well, we're just going to enjoy the party too." Said Applejack. "Pinkie never disappoints us when it comes to her parties."
"If you want to talk with us or if there is a problem, please come find me or us." Fluttershy said.
"Yes, talk to us about a problem you can do, fo we will make sure you don't bite off more than you can chew." Said Zecora
"Okay. Me go try to talk to new friends." Said Abiyoyo. The group separated and Abiyoyo looked around the party and observed how happy everypony was and enjoying it. He didn't really know who to talk to at first because there are plenty of interesting ponies that he might want o have a conversation with.
"Hey, excuse me, giant?" Said a mare. He looked and it Lyra and her friend Bon Bon.
"Oh. Mr name is Abiyoyo." He said to her.
"Oh sorry. Abiyoyo, we would like to know you." Said Bon Bon.
"Yeah, you seem like a very interesting guy."
Abiyoyo smiled. He never heard someone call him interesting before. "What would you e to know about me?"
"Well.... what kind of music do you like?" Lyra asked as her first question.
"Me like music of nature." Th giant replied. "Birds singing, waters of rivers and lakes flowing. What about you?"
"Pretty much all music. Rock, Metal, Pop, classical, that sort of thing."
"Same here." Said Bon Bon.
"Here, have some punch." Lyra used her horn to levitate a glass of punch as an offering to the giant. He observed it and put the juice in his mouth. It was a rather puny taste compared to his smaller new friends since he is a giant after all. "Hmmmm. Punch is good." He said
"Would you like some more?" Asked Bon Bon
"Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah." He replied with a nod.
The two friends giggled. "Okay. Here you go." Said Lyra. She brought him another glass of punch and he poured it on his large tongue. "Hey, Abiyoyo, we're sorry if we called you a monster." She said feeling a little guilty about earlier
"Oh do not worry. Me use to that."
Lyra smiled. "Good."
"Um, mister Abiyoyo?" Said a familiar voice that sounded like a child. He looked and it was the colt that was the first to make friends with him besides Fluttershy and her friends, and gave him the candy as an offering of friendship
"Oh. It is you again."
"Yeah. I... i would like to say thank you for not eating me back there. I appreciate it." Said Stinger. He paws his hoof to the ground nervously
"You are welcome. I would never eat a pony like you." The giant replied.
"Good. Is this the first time you were in a party?" Stinger asked him
"Hm-mmmm."
"Wow. That's great."
"How do you like the party?" Asked Bon Bon.
"Me like it, and the music. The music is like nothing he have heard in my life." The giant replied. "Me love it anyway."
"Good, we'll we should talk to some other ponies." Said Lyra about to leave. "It was nice meeting you, Abiyoyo."
"Me talk to you soon."
Then the two best friends went on to enjoy the rest of the party. They were both really happy to meet Abiyoyo and getting to know him. So on, Abiyoyo met some of the other ponies that loved in town. Cloudchaser, Flitter, Thunderlane, Cranky Doodle Donkey, Matilda, Roseluck, Carrot Top, and many others.
They all like him and the giant really liked them all back. Fluttershy came by to check on him and how he was doing with the mingling.
"I see you are already making more friends." Said Fluttershy proudly.
"Oh yeah." Said Abiyoyo. "Ponies really nice to me."
"Good. Would you like some cake?"
"Oh, yes. Me love cake." The Giant Replied
Fluttershy giggled and went to fetch him what he wanted. It was a dark Chocolate cake with pink frosting on top.
"Chocolate." He said in awe. He dropped the cake in his mouth and swallowed it whole. "Say Fluttershy. Thank you for being me friend and being really nice to me. Thanks to you, me have more friends and everyone loves me."
Fluttershy smiled. "You are very welcome, Abiyoyo. I am glad that I have met you." Then she hugged the gisnt's face and he hugged her back gently using his beefy hand so that he wouldn't try to crush her by mistake.
"Say Abiyoyo, would you like to help me and do some bonding with me sometime? We could do many fun activities like mix potions and chimes."
"Me would love too. That would sound really fun." The giant replied.
"Are you leaving now?" Asked Fluttershy a little sad that he might have to return to his cave sometime.
"Well.... not yet. Me guess me can stay here a little longer and bond with you ponies."
"Oh wonderful."
"Alright, Everypony, it's time to perform Abiyoyo's song." Pinkie announced. She and the others gathered around him in a large circle and began to play African bongos, Kalimbas, and other instruments from Zebrica.
"Before we plau, there is emerging I would like to say." Zecora announced. "Abiyoyo, who me and my kind once feared is friendly and good to rely, thanks to our one and only Fluttershy."
Everypony cheered on to Fluttershy for being friends with the giant and she hugged him again.
"Now let us play, and remember the most extraordinary thing on this very day." Zecora finished
The drums played and they all chanted "Abiyoyo, Abiyoyo, Abiyoyo, Abiyoyo, Biyoyo, biyoyo, biyoyo, Abiyoyo, Abiyoyo, Abiyoyo." And it went on so on and so forth. The giant danced around with joy and unlike bwdore, he knew not to stagger and get out of breath. He laughed with joy and enjoyed this festival for him, Thanks to Fluttershy.
