Rarity saves Sweetie Belle from getting hit by a car but winds up getting hit herself.
Rarity and Sweetie Belle are walking home from school together and Rarity saves Sweetie Belle from getting hit by a car, however Rarity winds up getting hit instead will she be ok, let's find out together?
One day Rarity and Sweetie Belle were walking home together from school and Sweetie Belle foolishly walked out in front of traffic, Rarity seeing this and being a good older sister pushed her out of the way of a car that was about to hit Sweetie Belle but unfortunately Rarity got hit by the car instead.
Sweetie Belle saw this and asked while crying at the same time "Rarity are you ok speak to me, oh please be ok?", but Rarity was unconscious and as such was not able to respond to her questions.
Sweetie Belle started to panic but then she remembered that she had her cell phone that her mom bought for her birthday a few days ago and proceeded to call 911.
It was a few seconds before someone said over the phone "This is 911, what's your emergency?"
Sweetie Belle said while holding back tears "Hi I'm Sweetie Belle, my sister Rarity got hit by a car can someone please send a ambulance to pick her up and take her to the hospital?"
The person who answered her call told her "Ok can you tell us where you are so that we can pick her up?"
Sweetie Belle looked around and told said person "Canterlot Road 321, Canterlot City Highway."
The person who answered Sweetie Belle's call told her "Ok stay by your sister's side until a ambulance arrives, we'll be there as soon as we can."
Sweetie Belle told the person who answered her call "Ok thank you, bye."
It didn't take long for a ambulance to come and take Rarity to the hospital but as they were putting Rarity into the ambulance Sweetie Belle asked "Can I please stay by my sister's side?"
The people who put Rarity into the ambulance told her "Sure hop in."
On the ride to the hospital Sweetie Belle told Rarity's cell phone and called not only her and Rarity's parents but also Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer and told them what happened, she then got back out her cell phone and told Applebloom and Scootaloo what happened and that she needed them to go to the hospital and comfort her after all if she hadn't of walked out in front of traffic none of this wouldn't have happened and as such she blamed herself for Rarity being in this condition.
Applebloom, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, Sunset Shimmer and Sweetie Belle were all inside Rarity's hospital room when she woke up twenty minutes ago she was screaming in pain so the doctors had to use anesthesia to get her to not only relax but to get her to go to sleep as well the sight of seeing Rarity like that broke everyons hearts, they hated to see her be in not only so much pain but so much misery and discomfort as well.
Sweetie Belle said "This is all my fault why oh why did I walk out in the middle of traffic I should know better than that?"
Applebloom told Sweetie Belle "Come on now Sweetie Belle stop being so hard on yourself."
Scootaloo told her "Yeah that's right come on cheer up."
Sweetie Belle asked her friends while talking in a angry tone at the same time "Calm down how do you expect me to calm down when Rarity is in this condition as a result of a stupid and foolish decision that I made?"
Pinkie Pie asked Sweetie Belle "Come on now Rarity was just being a good older sister don't you think that if I was in danger that Maud would risk her own safety and life if the case called for it to save me, of course she would and I know that Applejack would do the same thing for Applebloom."
Fluttershy told Sweetie Belle "Pinkie Pie is right Sweetie Belle Rarity was just being a good sister and besides you know that she wouldn't want you to blame yourself for something like this."
Sunset Shimmer told Sweetie Belle "Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are right so don't blame yourself."
Sweetie Belle told Sunset Shimmer "You're right Sunset as is Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie but that still doesn't make it any less sad."
Sunset then got said "I've been thinking and I think that let Twilight know about what happened after all I'm sure that she would want to be here with not only Rarity but all of us through this sad and difficult time."
Everybody in the room simply nodded in agreement as Sunset Shimmer got out her magic book.
Sunset Shimmer then read outloud as she wrote in the book "Dear Twilight Sparkle I'm afraid that I have bad news Rarity has been hit by a car and is in the hospital, could you please come over as soon as possible signed your friend, Sunset Shimmer."
After receiving Sunset Shimmer's message Princess Twilight Sparkle and Spike rushed through the portal and Princess Twilight was now in Rarity's hospital room, Spike wished that he could be there but since he goes from being a dragon to being a dog when he steps through the portal and dogs aren't allowed in the hospital Fluttershy volunteered to watch Spike at her house.
Spike told Fluttershy "It's too bad that I'm not allowed at the hospital, I want to be by Rarity's side, but that's impossible." (sad sigh)
Fluttershy told Spike while petting him at the same time "Um I have a idea but you don't have to do it,unless you want to that is."
Spike asked Fluttershy in a curious tone "What's your idea, Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy told Spike "I volunteered to watch you today but how about tomorrow, I take you to the hospital with me and if any doctors or nurses tell me that dogs aren't allowed I'll tell them that you are a dog plushie, that way they'll have to allow you in."
Spike then told Fluttershy while wagging his tail happily "That's a good idea Fluttershy, let's do it."
Anyway the next day Fluttershy went about her plan and it worked now Spike was sitting right by Rarity's side just like he wanted, when doctors and nurses were present he stood still and did nothing but after they left the room he acted like a dog again.
Sunset told Fluttershy "Fluttershy, this plan of your's is brilliant, it's hard to believe that you haven't gotten caught yet."
Fluttershy told Sunset "Thank you Sunset, while I'm usually not one who likes to break the rules, Spike wanted to be right by her side so badly that I had to do something."
Princess Twilight told Fluttershy "You've made Spike so happy Fluttershy, he was so sad and upset when he found out what happened to Rarity but look at him now."
Fluttershy told Princess Twilight "I was happy to do something for him after all not only is Spike my friend but he's also a animal as well."
Princess Twilight reminded Fluttershy "Fluttershy you do remember that I told you that he's only a dog when he comes here back home he's a dragon right?"
Fluttershy told Princess Twilight "Oh I know Twilight."
Princess Twilight then told Fluttershy "Ok just making sure."
Anyway half a day later Rarity woke up and while she was in pain she still had a smile on her face, she was happy that her friends and her sister were all by her side.
Ten minutes later a doctor came into her room and told her "Ok Rarity we have good news and bad news, we looked at your X-Ray and you have broken ribs, a injured back and both of your legs are broken so you'll have to ride around in a wheelchair for a long time, the good news is that you can go home today, just remember to take pain medicine twice a day every day until you run out then buy some more until you hopefully don't need any more."
Rarity asked the doctor "Will I ever be able to walk again?"
The doctor told her "Right now I don't know that is something that we'll have to determine after multiple check ups, your next appointment is in three weeks but it is highly recommended that you don't go to school or work for a few days.
Rarity told both the doctor and her friends thank you as they helped her into her wheelchair.
Her friends also helped her out her room and the hospital and they also helped her get back to her home where they and Sweetie Belle volunteered to help her do things around her house for a few days.
Then after four check up visits to the hospital several doctors and nurses told her that she is in fact able to walk again but that she can't be on her feet for long periods of time otherwise she'll have to take pain medicine and put ice bags on her legs but other than that her ribs and legs are no longer broken and her back is no longer injured.
