A trip across the Equestrian Ocean goes wrong when Twilight, Trixie, and Sunset find themselves shipwrecked on a seemingly deserted island.

Twilight Sparkle has been on many journeys to other countries and successfully discussed trade deals with various leaders. So it is no surprise that she has been sent to Prance to discuss a trade offer with the President of Prance. Normally, she'd go by herself to keep the trip short. But this time, she has decided to bring along two guests with her: Sunset Shimmer, who agreed to tag along to see more of the world she had left, and Trixie Lulamoon, who agreed to perform for the President.

However, the real treat for them will happen once the meetings are over. This is because they will return to Equestria onboard the luxurious ocean liner, the EMS Mareitania. Even though the talks will be exciting for the young Princess, the only thing she'll remember from this experience will be the voyage back.

This story is not considered canon as far as the main storyline of Captain Blade and the Mareitania.
