How could this happen
Cheese was walking to Ponyville to see Pinkie Pie, the mare that he loved ever since they had met. Cheese finally arrived in Ponyville to see Pinkie chasing a butterfly, and he couldn't help but notice that her mane was in a ponytail.
*Wow, she looks so beautiful with her mane like that.* Cheese thought to himself.
*What am I thinking? She ALWAYS looks beautiful.*
Cheese hid behind a tree and just watched her for a while. Then the butterfly came close to the tree and Pinkie went near the tree and bumped into him.
"Cheese?!?!" Pinkie said in shock to see him under her, but them hugged him tightly.
"Hi there Pinkie! How have you been?" Cheese asked hugging her back, not knowing what to say.
"I have been good you?"
"Oh i have been great!" Cheese replied, staring at her mane, about to drool.
"So do you like my mane? Rarity did it for me!"
"Y-you look amazing...." Cheese said stuttering.
"Um Cheese are you ok? Do you really think I'm THAT beautiful? Cause i am really not."
Cheese was shocked hearing this from her.
"Pinkie how could you say that! You are VERY beautiful, and if some ponies can't see that. Then they don't know what beautiful is?!?!"
"Y-you, you really think I'm beautiful?"
"Of course I do Pinkie, what kind of friend would i be if i lied and said that you weren't beautiful!" Cheese said as he gave Pinkie a hug.
"Uh Pinkie there's something I have to tell you, but you have to promise not to laugh and to take it seriously, Pinkie promise!"
"I Pinkie promise!" Pinkie said doing the Pinkie promise thing.
"Ok then. *Come on Cheese tell her!* Pinkie I-"
"PINKIE THERE YOU ARE!" Dash said, interrupting Cheese.
"We have been looking all over for you!" Fluttershy added on.
"Girls what is it?" Pinkie asked them.
"Somepony is robing the castle!" Rarity said.
"And we need you to help us! Twilight and A.J are standing outside of the door so it can't escape!" Spike said.
"Ok lets go!" Pinkie said but was stopped by Cheese stepping in front of her.
"Hey maybe I could help!" Cheese said to them.
"No way Cheese it's too dangerous you could get hurt!" Pinkie said to him.
"Pinkie, i have been robed before, i know how to use self defense."
"You do have a point. Ok Cheese you can come." Pinkie said.
So cheese and the mane 6 went in the castle.
"Be careful there could be any thing here!" Twilight said.
Pinkie looked around a room as she saw a blue unicorn hiding in the shadows.
"Hello?" Pinkie said to the stranger.
But when he had turned around, Pinkie knew he wasn't a stranger at all! It was Pokey Pierce! Pinkie's excoltfriend!
"Hello there Pinkie!" Pokey said as he then zapped her with his horn.
Cheese ran in just in time to see it. "PINKIE NO!!!!!!" Cheese yelled.
As soon as Pokey jumped out the window and ran off, he immediately ran to her.
"Uh......." Pinkie said rubbing her head.
"Pinkie! Does anything hurt? Anything at all?!?" Cheese said very worried.
"Aaahhh!!" Pinkie yelped, feeling a bad pain in her side.
She dropped to the ground, almost going unconscious from the pain. Tears slipped out of Pinkie's shut eyes. She turned very gray, and her tears disappeared.
"Pinkie!!" Are you ok?" asked Cheese, trying to hug her. Pinkie threw him off her.
"Get off me STICKLEGS!!!" yelled Pinkie, snarling.
Cheese was shocked by the name she had just called him. "Pinkie please im just trying to help." He said trying to calm her down.
"NO!!" yelled Pinkie. " I don't want to be near your greasy fur anytime soon! I don't want you here!! I want you GONE!!" Tears streaked Pinkie's eyes. "I wish I NEVER met you!!"
Cheese knew what Pokey had done to her. He made her not love him, not even as a friend. Cheese knew it wasn't her fault she said those things, It was out of pain, and the spell Pokey put on her. But there was only one thing to do. He had to tell twilight and the others and see if they could break the spell. And the spell only made her hate Cheese, so maybe her friends could at least help her calm down.
"You know that I would NEVER love you!! I need a real stallion! Not you, and your puny everything!" she said, scanning him up and down.

Cheese's heart broke when she said those three words. He just felt like he wanted to leave Ponyvile, at least until the spell wore off if it does any way. So he told Twilight and the others everything about what had happened.
So they went and tried to calm her down. As they were they didn't notice Cheese slowly and sadly with tears walking out the door. A.J and the others held Pinkie tight while Twilight grabbed a book and read what she needed to do. So she grabbed a nettle and put the medicine in it that would break the spell.
"Hold her down!" said Twilight levitating the nettle.
"This won't hurt a bit Pinkie." Twilight said as she injected Pinkie with the fluid, making her snap back to reality.
"What happened?" asked Pinkie. "Where's Cheesie?"
Rainbow looked at her. "Oh god, um, you kind of said that you hated him and that you wish that you never met."
Pinkie eyes filled with horror, and she jumped out of her seat. "CHEESE!!" she cried, racing to find him.
Cheese turned around to see Pinkie running after him. Not knowing that she had been cured, he run off thinking she was going to hurt him or something.
*Its best for her if I never see her again.* Cheese thought to himself. *After all..... she hates me....*
"CHEESE!!!" Pinkie cried again.
*Oh it's no use Pinkie, he's going to think that you hate him.* Pinkie sat down, looking at the ground, and sobbed uncontrollably. She buried her face in her hooves and cried some more."I HAVE HURT THE ONE PONY WHO MAKES ME HAPPY IN LIFE! She cried.
Cheese stopped when he heard her say that. *Maybe she is cured.* He thought seeing Pinkie on the ground crying. *And it wouldn't hurt to try to help. Even if i get hurt, it will be for her.*
Cheese was right in front of her, seeing her cry like this made his own heart hurt. Cheese not knowing what to say could only think of two things. So he tried the first one. So Cheese leaned in and hugged Pinkie tight. He didn't care anymore if he got hurt.
"*sniff* Cheesie?" said Pinkie. CHEESIE!!!!" Pinkie yelled, throwing her hooves around Cheese. "I-I'm so sorry" sniffed Pinkie. She buried her face into his chest. "I didn't mean any of those things. I don't hate you."
Cheese was relieved that Pinkie was ok. "I know you didn't mean those things Pinkie." Cheese said wiping her tears. "It wasn't your fault, you were under a spell the Pokey put on you. Why was he here anyway?"
"Oh Pokey, well he's my ex. He never really got over our break-up so I guess he went after me. I never meant for you to be part of this. I'm so sorry." explained Pinkie, sulking away.
"But I-I better go now. I don't want anything else bad to happen to you ever again." Pinkies ears flattened, and so did her mane. "*sigh* Ok." said Pinkie. But Cheese couldn't leave her like this. Cheese took in a big breath. "Pinkie, I-I love you."
Pinkie sucked in her breath, tears in her eyes. She covered her mouth with her hoof. Cheese didn't know if she felt the same way or not. If they were happy tears or sad tears.
So he slowly started to walk away. "Wait Cheese I love you too!!" yelled Pinkie, wrapping her hooves around his neck.
"Y-you really do!?!" "Yes!!" yelled Pinkie. Pinkie then gave Cheese a big hug. Then Cheese thought of the second thing Cheese wanted to do. So he kissed her right on the lips, Pinkie was shocked but then kissed him back.
