Prologue: The Story of Equestria's Fall - Part 1 of 2

Over looking farmlands, ponies farming without a care in the world, and farmlands filled with prospering crops.

"The Land of Equestria, an old kingdom of unspoken story, a land that was peaceful and had grown for over a thousand years, a kingdom I swore to protect..."

The scenery lowers to reveal a castle both beautiful and peaceful looking resting on a dense layer of clouds, holding the structure in the sky.

Suddenly zooming inside of the castle, we see a tall female pony with a horn and pair of wings, wearing armor fit for both a commander and a dark paladin, holding a large spear in hand and her starry-night mane held back in a ponytail, the moon seemingly shining down on her from the background, as it descends.

"I command the Shadow Legion."

The tall mare fade's into the background, and in her place six other mares appear. A pink mane sticking out of a paladin's helm while holding a sword almost as tall as her and her armor not only shines like the sun of day, but also like the happiness that can only be found when with friends; no horn or wings are visible on this one. A blonde-maned mare wearing only a leather vest and leather pants, holding onto a large hammer taller than her with it's head being more than four times the size of her own head; no horn or wings are seen on this one. A rainbow-maned mare wearing a metal breast plate covering her chest, leather leggings, and metal wrist braces, holding onto dual short-swords, both barely as long as her torso is tall; no horn is seen on this one but wings are. A light pink-maned mare wearing similar armor to the rainbow one, but with leather also covering her stomach and arms, also holding similar weapons; no horn is seen one this one but wings are. A purple-maned mare wearing a sapphire-blue dress that said 'beautiful, yet intelligent' with the cloth snug against her bust, holding onto a wooden staff with a blue diamond held on the top of the staff by what look like the 'roots' of the staff; no wings visible on this one, but a horn is. On the last one, a dark blue mane with a stripe of dark purple, a stripe of pink, and a stripe of light purple wearing a robe similar to the purple-maned one, except less beauty and more powerfully intimidating, colored purple, holding a silver staff, with a self-spinning purple, star-shaped stone in the top of the staff; no wings are visible on this one but a horn is.

"We are an elite team of fighters who draw essence from our downed foes."

The scene now fades from the six mares to a savage looking land. With griffons holding battle axes or war hammers as they walk from tent to tent.

"After many moons of conflict with the savage tribe from the south, away from princess and home, we form our final attack."

The moving right showing more griffon savages and what they call homes.

"But only now, on the brink of triumph, will I confirm my worst nightmare."

The scene is slowly enveloped in a choking darkness.

"That in mine absence, a darkness has consumed my home."

Then the entire scene erupts into flames, then falls into darkness...
