It was a fine day in Ponyville. There were only few clouds in the sky, the streets were scarcely inhabited by some strolling ponies, the shops were still closed due to the fact it was just past Midday, and, overall, nothing exceptional was happening.

That day, per her usual, Twilight was on the first floor of the Library, reading on her bed a novel idly. The only sounds in the room were the rustling of the leaves of the tree and the sound of pages begin flipped carefully.

However, that silence wasn't going to last.

"Twilight! Twilight! There is mail for you!" Spike's voice called from down the stairs accompanied by the rushed heavy steps of the baby dragon. Twilight, startled, jumped away from the bed onto the floor and closed the book violently.

"What is it, for need so much noise?" Twilight asked, as she walked annoyed towards the stairs, where Spike was doing the last steps panting.

"This... book and... this letter from... the Princess." Spike said, before dropping down along with a book with a brown worn-out cover.

"An old book and a letter?" Twilight said, as she took the book in her magic and went downstairs, stepping on Spike's back. "I will check it out immediately."

Once Spike recovered from the spine-walking, he got up, went to take a couple of pencils and pieces of paper from Twilight's private bedroom, then followed her downstairs to the so-called "studying table."

"Mmm... let's see what this letter contains," Twilight murmured as she put the book on the table, and then took the letter atop it, then broke the seal made of red wax and effectively opened the letter, revealing what was written on it.

"To my Personal Student Twilight.

Your research abilities are needed once more. There is this sketchbook, collection of the writings of several magicians, containing some spells that were left unfinished for reasons unknown. Your task it to complete all of them that had no reasons to be completed.

I have faith in your skills.

-Your Teacher, Princess Celestia."

"Well, she hasn't done this in two years, so that must be important," Twilight said, as she opened the book on the first page, only to see a yellowed blank page. Twilight turned the page again, and saw two yellowed pages full of sketches and writing in a small and hard-to-read handwriting. Moving her head further in the book, Twilight could see the content in more detail.

The pages' sketches were of ponies of all ages slowly shirking into foals of around two years of age, according to the notes under them. The sketches detailed how the anatomy adapted itself to the change, and how it returned in a primitive state for certain organs, and detailed how to get the regressed accustomed to the feeling. However, a particular passage in the notes caught her attention, because it was written hastily and with a lot of ink spots that made reading hard.

"I do not know why did I decided to go on, and perfection the Permanent Youthening, so to make a proper Regression Spell, one that didn't require constant renewal, and that could also hit the mind and not just the body.

I simply didn't. Maybe I thought that there could have been applications in lawmaking, or in psychology. Maybe I thought it was all in harmless research for the sake of research and make something new from an old spell.

But I simply was not prepared for the consequences. As soon as I published a good part of my studies on how to make an adult pony go back to a simpler state of mind for a certain period of time, I didn't know that the uses could have been so perverted, especially combined with the old regression spell, to the point that my studies could have been put at the Index, in the same list of the dark magic books, "other-sided" history ones, and sex manuals for practices that I'd wish I'd never knew about. The scum perverting my creations cheer and ask for better and improved ways to 'enjoy' my spells with their buddies, and the general opinion thinks that I have cravings directed at the least interested in them.

I'm done. I'm just done. This research and development ends here.

To the one reading this, whoever you are, don't complete this, if not for me, at least for the morality of all Equestria.

Crèatur Bête de Hus, 5 of September 1003."

"Well, Princess Celestia asked me to complete the spells that were not completed for unknown reasons." Twilight murmured, as she flipped the page "Since the reason for the non-completion of this spell is written right here, I think I will have to skip over."

Twilight's eyes then set themselves upon the next page, where she saw a diagram of a pony's flank, and sketches of how a cutie mark could slowly shift into another one. The notes had a calligraphy that was familiar to Twilight, and they were cut off in the middle.

"So, this is a spell by Starswirl Vasemaker, nicknamed The Bearded. The spells seems for..." Twilight put her head further into the book "swapping cutie marks? Well, interesting. But I think I should try to finish it with more ponies than just me..."

Twilight blinked as she was met with the sight of several fixed stars whirling around the perceived sky and bright stardust as floor where she was lying on.

“W-where am I?” Twilight said, rubbing her forehead for a bit, before getting up on her four hooves, thusly allowing her to have a better chance in seeing what was around her. The area seemed tranquil and felt as if time stood still. Turning to look behind her, Twilight could see that from time to time, the stars disappeared in a puff for a slight moment for get replaced by glimpses of life. Specifically, Twilight’s life…moments as far back as when she came to Celestia's School and got her cutie mark.

“What?” She murmured to herself “Why are there bits of my life shown over there?”

“Because this is the Room of Glory and Ascension, Twilight Sparkle Noctiloclea, dear student!” Princess Celestia declared while begin out of Twilight’s field of view. The starfield sparkled in various patterns, nothing beyond them but pure darkness. Twilight hooves echoed into infinity, as she slowly wandered about in the empty space.

Suddenly from Twilight left a series of stars started glowing brighter. One by one they began to swirl and merge into a solid white doorway of energy. From the newly created opening stepped out Celestia in all her glory. Her mane fluttered about. looking even more transparent, in the ambient magic flowing about the room.

She raised her hoof, as Twilight instinctively bowed.

“You do not have to bow to me now, Twilight, for that solving Starswirsl spell you have proven to me that you are worthy of ascension and its honorifics.” She approached Twilight with a grin on her face, putting her hoof on her shoulder, and gesturing towards the images of her past.

Twilight watched the images flow in front of her eyes, as Princess Celestia started to sing.

You've come such a long, long way
And I've watched you from that very first day

Twilight looked slightly sideways and saw Celestia's horn glowing with a sickly orange light, and her face showing a grin of satisfaction.

“I don’t like where this is going…” Twilight thought before going back to watch the passing glimpses of her life “but we will see.”

To see how you might grow
To see what you might do
To see what you've been through

Suddenly, the images passed from Twilight’s past adventures with her friends, to pictures of her as a little filly attempting to enjoy a stage of life unsuitable for her. Twilight felt alarmed as her back started to feel tingly on her back. The tingle intensified into an itch, as she followed the princess along the hall of memories.

“Why do I feel something on my back, and why am I losing height?” Twilight murmured, turning back once more, only to notice Celestia’s grin growing bigger, the stump of wings appearing on her back… and her cutie mark slowly fading away.

“No… this can’t be happening…” Twilight thought, her mind feeling slightly unfocused due to all the concentration she had used for finish to cast Staraswirl’s spell and, likely, due to the effects of Celestia’s spell.

And all the ways you've made me proud of you
It's time now for a new change to come
You've grown up and your new life has begun

Twilight saw the wings starting to form fully and her body slowly restricting itself onto itself. Twilight felt panic. “Twilight, react, quick! Quick! There is not time to lose!”

She tired to use the few concentration she had left for recall every memory of her life that could help her go on.

The time when she had walked, pained and broken, from an accident to the hospital, by herself…

When she had fought off Nightmare Moon with her friends…

When she had used the letters sent to Celestia as reports, for regain the lost hope, and use it for use for restore her friends’ true personalities after Discord’s attempt to conquer Equestria…

When her brother and Cadence had saved the Kingdom from the prepared invasion of the changelings, by the means of the force of love.

When she had warded off her mother long enough to allow his father to come…

When she had saved Orvosti Ostoba from a life of sexual abuse…

When she had fought King Sombra…

The last four memories suddenly made her realize what she had to do. Twilight tightened her hoof and murmured while her eyes watered.

“In my latest struggles, I kept my willpower high, and won,” she said, feeling the end near “why is this different? In fact…” she thought, as she felt oblivion and foalish bliss enveloping her mind “I think that this is not the right time to lose hope at all! I need to fight back, for myself, for my friends, young and old, for my parents, for my heritage… for everything I hold dear and that is sacred!”

To go where you will go
To see what you will see
To find what you will be
For it's time for you to fulfill your destiny!

As Princess Celestia sang those last lines, she intensified the strength of the spell. Feeling that complete shrinkage to an alicorn foal was near, Twilight turned violently around and lit her horn up, for then make it flash brightly, thusly causing Celestia stop her spell.

“Lux Invicta! Out of my mind, out of my life!” She screamed with all the air she got in her lungs. Siad scream, like a wave canceling out drawings on the sand, made Twilight’s feel cleared out of the obliterating darkness and artificial happiness coming from remembrance of a childhood that never existed.

“Princess Celestia, you sure do not look proud of me, if you want me as your little, tiny, helpless foal!” Twilight roared, as her body slowly started to regain size, going from five-years old size to eight-years old size “And sure it’s not a good destiny either!”

“Wha- wh- Did you just do that?” Princess Celestia asked, while she fluttered her wings to get up, all while she rubbed her eyes.

"Yes, Princess Celestia," Twilight said with a tone that expressed slight cockiness "I refused the trap of the empty princesshood, and decided to go on and keep living my current life."

"But..." Princess Celestia said with an attempted sweet voice as she walked to Twilight "you would have gained an extended life... and power!"

"Yes," Twilight said "but at a cost too great to be taken. If to attain them I have to cancel out the rest of my previous life, and start back from a random point in time between the gain of self-consciousness and the onset of puberty and thus the end of the agony, then, no, Greater Noblehood is not worthy."

"But that's foolish, Twilight, my dear," Princess Celestia said, as she approached Twilight "give up power and greatness becau..."

"I HAVE power and greatness already." Twilight said dryly, as she started to look around her for an exit from that room "Weren't my deeds for great and worthy of remembrance? Wasn't my magical power an odd one out, something that is rare, something to carefully groom and train? Didn't I do just that, during that darkness-filled period, and could have done even better and further, without my silly filly issues bothering me?" As Twilight said that, she noticed a blur in the revolving stairs, a blur that looked like the exit.

"Didn't I served you faithfully for years, researching whatever topic you wanted, sending me to test out theories and inventions when you could not review them?" she said, lighting her horn up, and then pointing it at the blur, which rolled aside like gift wrapping the sky and stars on the patch, showing the bucolic Ponyville scenery hidden behind "Didn't I purified your sister from the Nightmare Forces, which, had me and my friends refused, would have required bronze and fire to be done? Didn't I saved your Kingdom from Discord when he was set free? Didn't I gave your niece an Empire in the north to rule over, by kicking out its dark ruler?"

"Yes, you did all of that," Princess Celestia said, while she followed Twilight to the escape point cautiously "And this is your reward."

Twilight stopped walking, only to turn her head around suddenly.

"Ah, so this is my reward?" Twilight said offended "This is how you treat me?! Despite knowing what I did for you, and how much I hate that prospect, to the point to consider it a punishment, you still try?"

Princess Celestia looked around her.

"I-I thought you might have changed your mind about it..."

"What made you think so?" Twilight said, a few steps away from getting out of the ethereal room "Did I ever flinched in my judgment about it?"

Princess Celestia showed more elàn in her answer to that question Twilight considered rhetorical.

"Yes. After all, you did had several thoughts about letting yourself go, and turn into a filly. You had them, and I think you still have them, albeit deep inside."

Twilight recoiled slightly, before realizing what Celestia was referring to.

"I was near the edge of madness," Twilight said with renewed spite she put her right hoof outside the room onto the ground on the other side "but I'm stronger now. I do not want them to bother me anymore."

Only then Twilight realized that she could end that meeting in a different and better way, than the equivalent of slamming the door on the Princess' face.

"But it is true I have them," she said, putting her hoof back in the ethereal space she was in "and, well, I think they have made their time, and I was going to let them die. However..." Twilight snickered, causing Celestia to move her head forward.

"However? Speak up please."

“Do you happen to know how to remove certain desires from a pony’s mind, and then turn it into an embodiment of it. Better yet another completely different pony that has said desire as a major trait?” Twilight asked with an undertone of glee, sure that, in case of positive response, her and the Princess’ desires were going to be fulfilled for a long while.

“Well… if you really want to… that can be done.” Princess Celestia said with a hopeful smile “What is the purpose of this question?”

“I want to get rid of those desires of regression and, since you are interested in a me desiring to be treated like a foal, then I can give that part to you.”

“Then it can be done,” Princess Celestia said with a buzz of wings “absolutely and right now! The astral matter can be shaped and turned into any material anyway!”

Twilight smirked, as she lowered her head and pointed her horn towards Princess Celestia.

"Let's do it, then," Twilight said "and, this time, don't try to play tricks onto me."

Princess Celestia’s horn started to glow brightly with a blue aura, that soon created a long, worm-like filament heading towards Twilight’s head, before starting to circle around Twilight’s temples.

As they did that, Twilight felt her head lighter and pulsing like a healthy living heart, her legs twitched around, and her eyes flashed with images from her imagination about fulfilling her unwanted desires of regression, be it with Velvet, Celestia, or one of her friends. Twilight cringed at them, but maintained calm, sure that it was just a side effect of removing pieces of memory and mind.

The circle of blue light suddenly started to drift away from her head and move towards the "ceiling" of the room, grabbing a dark blue piece that dropped sparkles of pure light that died out within seconds after falling from the core, and put it on the shining floor.

Then Celestia started to move her head around, creating shapes of weak light in the air, shapes that seemingly transmitted to the dark matter, since it started to shift around and produce bubbles like wine brew.

"So... this entire room is made of matter that can be turned into any material known to ponykind? Mmm... I think I should do heroic deeds more often, so that I make take some of it..." Twilight murmured to herself, as she looked interested at the matter getting shaped up into a pony's shape by Celestia's magic.

Soon the matter takes the crude silhouette of Twilight and, shortly after that, the detals come about, until the "astral clay" statue looked like a lifeless carbon copy of Twilight. At this point, Princess Celestia rose her chin, and her magical aura turned emerald green. The glow at first enveloped all the statue, but it slowly started to shrink, until it was reduced to just the head.

"Now live!" Princess Celestia shouted, as the room flashed with a green light that hurt Twilight's eyes and caused her to shut them tight and to open them only around a minute later, and see a clone of her in front of her face, the only difference between her and it begin the greener coat of the clone.

"W-where am I?" Twilight's clone asked.

"In the Room of Glory Twilight, my student." Princess Celestia said, while winking at the original Twilight, signaling she was free to go now.

Not thinking twice about it, Twilight rushed through the passage to Ponyville, and landing near the fountain in the center of the town. Twilight could see her five friends going around it like hounds trained to look for runaways from prisons. Quickly understanding the reason for her friends' stance, Twilight walked up directly to the fountain, just where Applejack was heading to.

"Y'all! Ah found her!" Applejack shouted while turning her head around, and causing the remaining four friends to compact in a line formation and walk up to Applejack and Twilight's position.

"Where have ya' been? Thought ya were feeding the trees afta' that spell!"

"No, I did not die and resurrect," Twilight said with a little hint of snark "No, when I've cast the spell to swap the cutie marks once more and thus re-establish the natural order, I was teleported in the astral plane in the Room of Glory, where Princess Celestia offered me Greater Noblehood by Merit. However, I refused to accept it, for its conditions. To make a very long and disturbing tale short and tame, Princess Celestia wanted to turn me into a filly that has yet to be out of diapers. I reacted with refusal, and made her change her deal from me begin turned into an alicorn foal, to her turning my wishes of regression into flesh to give to her to exploit."

Meanwhile, the other four had reached Applejack and Twilight, and had been listening.

"Uuummm... glad you made it..." Fluttershy said in a low voice "I was worried about your state..."

"Aaawww, Twilight," Rainbow Dash exclaimed "I thought you had been thought something cooler than that! But I'm still happy to see you in one piece!"

"Those acts by the Princess," Rarity said "were most illegal. So, while I'm glad you have managed to stop her from actually doing it, I think the time has come for expose her actions to the rest of the world..."

"Thank you," Twilight said "but I wasn't never in danger, nor I feel the need to sue Celestia, really. Better yet, I was in danger only when Celestia offered alicornhood with Greater Nobility. But, when I managed to change the deal..."

"But ya ain't an alicorn now!" Applejack commented "Did she said that ya didn't get to be an alicorn if she got rid of your cravings?"

Twilight dawned at the realization of what she had forgot to ask to Celesia.

Her scream of frustration could be heard from end to end of Equestria.

After doing her usual morning ritual in the bathroom, Celestia went back to her room, and walked to a door she had kept locked for a long time, but that was now unlocked. Opening it slowly, Princess Celestia peeked inside, revealing, once more, the sight of the nursery she had created.

Looking around the place from side to side of the room, Celestia could see each and every piece of furniture present in the room. In-between the purple changing table with blue pad and the pink wardrobe, there was the crib with bard colored like the rainbow and the ends made of poplar painted in purple. And, inside the crib, Celestia's most prized possession: Twilight.

Twilight was wearing a blue footed sleeper with white stars as a pattern, and a quite noticeable bulge around her crotch, giving away what was worn under the sleeper, namely, a diaper. A white pacifier was in her mouth, and it was begin suckled slowly.

Celestia let out a sigh.

"She is so cute when she sleeps," she murmured, while delicately walking towards her "it's almost a pity wake her up."

As she walked near to the crib, Celestia noticed that Twilight's eyelids were fluttering about, and that her limbs were slowly stretching outwards.

"Had a good sleep, Twily?" Celestia asked with a sweet voice, as she loomed her head over the crib, causing Twilight to suddenly boop Celestia's nose delicately with her purple-greenish hoof.

"Yes, mommy Tia. Had no better in days!" She said cheerfully, as she slowly put herself on her four hooves and held her hooves up towards Celestia, who giggled lightly, as she levitated Twilight out of the crib with her magic, and put her on the ground gently.

"Good to hear," Celestia said, as she unbuttoned the sleeper's front "Now, before we go to have some nummies, let me check your diaper."

Twilight shook her head for signal denial while crossing her forehooves.

"I no need change!" She said pouting, while Celestia completely unbuttoned the sleeper, thusly giving to Celestia a good view onto the front of the diaper, which looked a bit darkened, likely sign of wetting. However, Celestia still touched it, just to be sure that her eyes were not deceiving her.

And they didn't: as predicted, the diaper squished loudly, thusly causing Twilight to blush and stop pouting.

"Aaaw," Celestia said, as she switched the light on with her magic and petted Twilight's mane a bit "don't be embarrassed. I will change you right away!"

Twilight undid her hooves-crossing to let her hooves go on her belly, while Celestia put her on the changing table. There, Celestia quickly untapped the wet diaper, threw it away, and proceeded to slide a new one under Twilight's back, once Twilight's privates had been cleaned and covered in a layer of baby powder.

With that done, Celestia put Twilight on the floor.

"Wanna keep your sleeper on, Twily?" Celestia asked, and Twilight wasted no time in her response, namely "Yes, mommy!"

With a light chuckle, Celestia quickly buttoned up the piece of clothing worn by Twilight, before walking towards the door.

"Come on, follow me," she said "We are going to have breakfast!"

And, after a little hop for get on her fours, Twilight followed Princess Celestia down the marble and fresco-painted hallways, her hopping stride accompanied by herself humming the tune of a folk song. As her "little filly" did that, Princess Celestia was walking just behind her, smiling all the way.

"And, thus, my quest for have Twilight as my own filly has ended," She thought, as she opened the dining room's door for let Twilight in "It has been a relatively short journey, started as a simple whim I had while looking at how Twilight Velvet treated her daughter; and that passed through several ineffectual steps for make Twilight cede, and one of them even entering the realm of poulastry, just because I didn't explicitly say that I wanted Twilight willing to be an actual filly, and not make her interested in the more sexual side of wearing diapers and act like a foal."

Princess Celestia entered in the dining room, where the long oak table where harvest and hauntings scenes were engraved on the sides, and several chairs made of cedar with red velvet pillows as sitting awaited to be used.

"But I've finally gotten her." Princess Celestia said as she went to sit down at one end of the table "Sure, not in the way I expected it, but it's still the fulfillment of one of my wishes."

As she said that, three servants, dressed in green robes, came in the room: two of them carried an adult-sized highchair on their backs (with great appreciation from Twilight, who clapped slightly), while the remaining one brought some newspapers in his magic.

"Your Majesty, today's vulgar news." He said in his deep and yet low voice,, while bowing down slightly.

"Thank you, Gamenied," Celestia said as she took the newspapers in her magic and put them on the table for read the headlines.

As soon as she did that, her mood was quickly ruined.

"Princess Celestia: a Sybaritic Ruler, or a Just Leader?"

"Diapergate: Actually It's About Ethics."

"De Pederastia, its origins, and its influence over Celestia: Interview with the Author."

"Princess Celestia's latest stunt 'Against Common Law and Constituion,' according to Rarity Belle D' Anjou."
