"That was a disaster!" Adagio yelled, bursting through the door of their home, the girls brushing food out of their hair. "Victory was right in our grasp and we let it slip away!"

"Nothing we can do about it now..." said Aria, walking in and sitting on a couch. "Our powers are gone..."

"Well, if you two had tried harder--" Adagio started, turning to Aria.

The purple girl stood up with a gasp. "Us! What about you?! You're just as much to blame as us!"

"Ha! I did all I could!" Adagio yelled as Sonata walked in, looking back and forth at them and closing the door with her foot. "You should have tried harder!"

"WE WERE TRYING!"

"COULD'VE FOOLED ME!"

Aria yelled in frustration and got up, heading to the bedroom.

"Where are you going?" asked Adagio, watching her.

"Away from you!"

The yellow girl growled and followed after her, closing the bedroom door behind her. "Do you understand what's happened, Aria? We have no powers!"

"Then we'll just have to live without them, won't we?" Aria asked, sitting on the bed.

Adagio growled again. "You're giving up?!"

"Giving up?" asked Aria, standing up. "We lost! There's no chance at getting our powers back, so what's the point?!"

"THERE HAS TO BE A WAY!" Aria sighed angrily and stood up, heading over to their wardrobe and opening it. "Where are you going now?!"

"Out!" Aria yelled, pulling off her top and throwing it in the wardrobe.

Adagio took a few steps towards her. "Out?!" she asked. "You coming back?"

"Maybe..." said Aria, grabbing a black bra. "Maybe not..." She then put on the bra and positioned it so it felt comfortable.

"You have to come back!" Adagio protested.

"Why should I?!" asked Aria, grabbing a white shirt and pulling it on before closing the wardrobe doors. "What's the point?"

She then turned and walked passed Adagio, heading for the bedroom door. Once there, she was only able to open it a crack before Adagio slammed it shut and spun her around.

"Don't leave!" she yelled, but not sounding angry. "You can't leave!"

"And, why not?!" Aria yelled back.

"Because... Because, I--"

"What, one of us isn't enough?! You need two to yell at and boss around?!"

"Aria, I..."

"WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY??!!!"

"I LOVE YOU!!"

"I LOVE YOU, TOO!!"

The two stared at each other for a few seconds before Adagio leaned in and held Aria against the door, kissing her.

~~~~~~
Sonata sat on the couch as banging was heard against the door. "Hmm... I wonder if they've made up yet..." she thought aloud.
~~~~~~

Aria placed her hands on Adagio's shoulders and pushed her away slightly before backing her up towards the bed. "I still don't think I'm convinced..."

Adagio smirked and grabbed Aria's shoulders, spinning around and pushing her onto the bed. "Then, I have to try harder..." she said, laying on top of the purple girl and kissing her neck.

Aria exhaled softly and let Adagio do her thing before rolling over and positioning them both so Adagio's head rested on the pillow.

"Getting closer..." she said with a smirk as she gripped the bottom of Adagio's dress and pulled it up, getting it stuck on her hair.

Both girls grunted when the shirt got caught. "Hey! Careful!" Adagio protested.

Aria got up on one knee and gripped the shirt, pulling up as hard as she could, letting a couple grunts. "How'd you... get this on?"

"You're pulling my hair!"

"Aw, forget it," said Aria, gripping the collar and ripping it.

"Hey!"

"Oh, come on... It's not like we're gonna use these again," said Aria with a chuckle. She then pulled the ripped shirt off all the way and tossed it aside, leaving Adagio in only her bra and panties.

Aria then smirked and took out her spiky hair bands, letting her hair fall down before pulling her shirt off, tossing it aside, both girls now with their bras and chests visible.

Adagio smiled up at her. "Never knew you were this forward, Aria..."

"And I never knew you cared..." the purple girl replied with a smile.

~~~~~~
Sonata tilted her head to listen, not hearing anything from the other room. "I guess they made up... Yay!" she added with a smile.
~~~~~~

Aria laid down on top of Adagio and kissed her on the lips with a light moan. Adagio moaned back and placed her hand on Aria's back, undoing her bra. Once the straps released, she rubbed the girl's bare back with both hands. Aria smiled gripped the left strap of Adagio's bra and slid it off before kissing her shoulder. The yellow girl sat up and pulled Aria into her lap before pulling off the purple girl's bra. Aria kept kissing Adagio's shoulder as she undid her bra, too, and pulled it off. The now-topless ex-sirens pulled each other close and kissed on the lips.

~~~~~~
Sonata got up from the couch and went into the living room, looking out the window at the high school in the distance.
~~~~~~

Adagio turned around and laid Aria on the bed, her head on the pillow before she gripped the girl's boots and pulled them off. "Hmm..." she said, pulling off Aria's socks and eyeing her feet. She then leaned in and gave the bottom of Aria's right foot a lick, making the purple girl shudder. Adagio chuckled before licking the bottom of the left.

"Th-That feels weird..." Aria said softly. "But... good..."

Adagio chuckled and gripped her pants, undoing the zipper and pulling them off, and dropping them on the floor. She then slid down and spread Aria's legs wide open before leaning in, dragging her tongue up the middle of the girl's panties. Aria let out a shudder as Adagio smirked. She then gripped the panties and slid them down and off.

"Enjoying this, Aria?" Adagio asked with a smirk, running her finger over the girl's lower lips.

Aria moaned out and nodded. "Uh-huh!"

Adagio chuckled and leaned in, giving the exposed flesh a lick. Aria gripped the sheets and moaned out, finding this feeling to be the best thing she's ever felt. She let out more moans and arched her back lightly, her hands gripping her own breasts as the yellow ex-siren worked her magic.

After a bunch more licks, Aria felt really close to what she assumed to be an orgasm, when Adagio stopped. Aria looked at her, panting heavily. "Wh-Why'd you stop?! Keep going!"

"Ah ah ah..." Adagio sang. "Your turn first..."

Aria growled and sat up. "Fine... Lay down..." she spat, really wanting to get off.

Adagio smiled and crawled around Aria, laying on her back with her head on the pillow.. "Do a good job, now..." she said with a smirk.

Aria frowned before pulling Adagio's boots off. She then pulled off her socks and stared at her feet.

"Wanna give it a try?" asked Adagio, wiggling her toes.

Aria bit her lip before taking Adagio's ankles and leaning in, licking the bottom of her right foot. She let out a low moan at the feeling of her tongue against the girl's foot
and gave the foot a few more licks. Aria then moved on to the left foot and licked the bottom of that a few times as well.

Afterwards, she leaned in and gripped the yellow girl's panties, slipping them down and off before dropping them on the floor. She then leaned in and gave the slit a lick, her eyes going wide at the taste. Aria then started to quickly lap at Adagio's lower lips as their owner moaned.

"Oh, Aria..." she moaned, gripping her own breasts and squeezing

The purple girl smiled and closed her eyes before driving her tongue inside, getting a loud moan from Adagio. Aria then licked around inside a little before pulling out.

"O-Oh, come on, I'm... so close..." Adagio moaned.

Aria smirked. "I know... Let's do it together," she said, sliding forward and getting into a scissoring position with her slit pressing against adagio's. She then held the yellow girl's left leg, which was resting across her chest, and began to move her hips back and forth.

Adagio let out moans and smirked. "That the... best you got?"

Aria smirked and growled before roughly pumping her hips, causing the bed to bang against the wall.

~~~~~~
Outside the room, Sonata watched the wall as a picture shook before falling. "Hmm... I wonder how it's going in there..." she thought aloud, turning and heading into the kitchen. Once there, she got herself a glass of milk before heading back to the couch. Before sitting down, she picked up the picture and hung it back on the wall. Sitting down with a sigh, she took a sip of milk. Just then there was a louder bang and the picture fell again. Sonata just sighed and kept drinking.
"You wanna keep falling down?" she asked, as if the picture would respond. "Fine with me... Not my problem..."
~~~~~~

Adagio and Aria both yelled before climaxing, soaking each other's inner thighs and part of the bedsheets. Aria then collapsed on Adagio, the both of them panting heavily.

"That was... amazing..." said Aria.

Adagio inhaled deeply to catch her breath. "It sure was..." she agreed, rubbing Aria's back.

The purple girl lifted her top half up slightly to look Adagio in the eyes. "Does this mean we have to stop fighting?"

Adagio smirked. "Of course not," she said, pulling Aria into a kiss.

2 Weeks Later...

Sonata awoke from the couch and stretched. She looked at her body and realized that she was still in her show outfit. She let out a yawn and got up, walking to the bedroom door and slowly opening it. She then slowly peeked inside to see Adagio asleep with Aria sleeping atop her, both naked. Sonata then eyed their wardrobe and slowly crept in, tiptoeing to avoid awaking them.

She was so close to the wardrobe when she tripped over their clothes, hitting the floor with a thud. Both girls in the bed sat up, Aria hugging Adagio, looking over her own shoulder at Sonata.

The blue girl chuckled nervously. "Oops... Sorry..."

"What are you doing?" Adagio snapped tiredly, letting out a yawn afterwards.

"Just needed to get some clothes..." Sonata said, standing up and opening the wardrobe.

"Couldn't you have waited till we were a-a-a-awake?" Aria asked with a yawn.

"Well, I wanted to head out early," Sonata explained, pulling out her school clothes and closing the doors.

Adagio raised an eyebrow. "Your school clothes?"

Aria scoffed. "Don't tell me you're going back there..."

Sonata gripped her clothes a little more tightly. "I am..." she said, sounding nervous as she headed towards the bathroom.

"They won't a-a-accept you..." Aria called with a yawn.

~~~~~~
Sonata closed the bathroom door and walked up to the shower.
"It'll be fine..." she told herself with a nervous laugh. "I'll just go in and... apologize..." she said, turning the water on and testing it. "Oh, but what if they don't talk to me? What if they give me looks when they see me?" Sonata thought aloud. holding her cheeks. She then eyed the faucet and felt the water, smiling. "Oh, well..." she said, before undressing and hoping into the shower. "I'll just try really hard," she said with determination as she swiped the shampoo. She then remembered being up on stage after their defeat, and sighed. "Who am I kidding... They probably all hate me..."
After a few more minutes, Sonata finished her shower and stepped out, wrapping herself in a towel and sitting on the toilet lid, thinking.
~~~~~~

The bus pulled up to the school in the early morning and the doors opened, letting off its passengers.

"Why does school have to start so early?" asked Dash, yawning as her and her other five friends followed her off the bus.

"What's wrong, Dash?" asked Applejack. "Didn't get enough sleep last night?"

"Actually, no. I didn't. I was up practicing a new song I wrote."

"A new song, huh?" asked Rarity as the girls stood near the statue.

"Is it about how awesome you are?" asked AJ, raising an eyebrow.

Dash turned to look at her, ready to say something as the bus drove off. Dash then saw something and closed her mouth. "Uh... girls?" she said, pointing across the street.

All the girls turned to look, gasping softly. Standing there, across the street, was Sonata, holding her arm nervously as she watched them.

"What does she want?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"Ah dunno girls..." said Applejack. "Where are the other two?"

Sunset Shimmer thought for a moment before stepping up. "I'll go talk to her..."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Rarity asked with concern, eyeing the ex-siren across the street.

Sunset Shimmer hesitated before turning around to face them. "I made mistakes, too, remember? I tried to take over this school once... And, you still accepted me as a friend... She's just like me..." she said, looking back at Sonata. "Maybe we should giver her a chance, too..."

The other five looked at each other before nodding.

"I see your point..." Rarity said, smiling lightly.

~~~~~~
Sonata began to pace back and forth, nervously twirling the right drawstring on her hoodie. "What am I doing? This is crazy..." she muttered. "I can't do this..."
She turned to leave when a voice made her stop. "Hey, wait!"
Sonata turned to see Sunset Shimmer running across the street towards her, making her gulp nervously.
The orange girl slowed down before standing on the sidewalk near Sonata. "Hey," she said, giving a quick wave of her hand.
Sonata slowly raised a hand and smiled lightly. "Hey..."
"What are you doing here?" asked Sunset, sounding confused as she looked around. "And where are those other two?"
"They're not here... Just me," the ex-siren said with a nervous chuckle.
Shimmer eyed her before smiling. "Sunset Shimmer," she said, holding out a hand.
The blue girl eyed it before hesitantly taking it, smiling. "Sonata... Sonata Dusk..."
Sunset shook her hand briefly before letting go. "So, why are you here?"
Sonata eyed the ground. "I, uh... wanted to... apologize..." she muttered, getting softer and softer.
"Sorry, what was that?"
"I said I wanted to apolo...
"Didn't quite catch that..."
Sonata sighed. "Apologize..."
Sunset hesitated before smiling. "Come on..." she said, holding out her hand. "I'm sure the others would love to hear that."
The blue girl eyed Sunset's hand, then the girls across the street, and then Sunset. "A-Alright..." she said, finally taking the girl's hand.
Sunset smiled and began leading her across the street and towards the others, all keeping on their toes in case this ex-siren tried anything funny.
"This here's Sonata Dusk," said Sunset with a smile. "She has something she'd like to say."
Sonata nervously waved. "Hello..."
The girls waved back. "Hello," said Pinkie cheerfully.
Sonata eyed Sunset, who nodded, before looking at the others. "I just... wanted to say... that... I-I... I'm sorry for what I did..." the girl finally apologized, looking away. "It's just... I never knew friendship before seeing you girls last night..."
Rarity thought for a second. "What about those other two?"
"Adagio and Aria?" asked Sonata. "They're... fine, and all, but... It's not the same..."
Suddenly the statue portal began to hum, drawing all the girls' attention.
"Twilight?" Fluttershy thought aloud.
"Welcome Back, Twilight!"
Back in Equestria, Twilight was pacing back in forth in the her castle's library, eyeing the shelves as Spike watched her when her friends came in.
"Are you still working, Twilight?" asked Rainbow Dash, hovering above the group.
Twilight stopped and looked at them. "I've reorganized these books about ten times but they still don't feel right... I may have to pull all of them and reorganize..."
The girls all looked at each other before AJ spoke up. "Perhaps ya need a break, Twilight..."
"A break?!" asked Twilight. "I'm a princess now. I have duties... and work to do... I can't just..."
"Why don't you go visit your Canterlot High friends?" Rarity suggested. "If we need you, we could always use that book."
Twilight thought for a moment. "I guess you're right... And I could use a break..."
"That's the spirit, Twilight," said Rarity. "Now, go on. We'll be in touch."
Twilight smiled and trotted over to them, giving each one a hug. "See ya soon, girls," she said, before looking at Spike. "Coming?"
"Of course!" said Spike.
Twilight smiled before trotting out of the library and then running to the throne room, Spike close behind.
Once there, they took off towards the mirror and leaped through without hesitation.
~~~~~~

Sonata eyed Sunset, who nodded, before looking at the others. "I just... wanted to say... that... I-I... I'm sorry for what I did..." the girl finally apologized, looking away. "It's just... I never knew friendship before seeing you girls last night..."

Rarity thought for a second. "What about those other two?"

"Adagio and Aria?" asked Sonata. "They're... fine, and all, but... It's not the same..."

Suddenly the statue portal began to hum, drawing all the girls' attention.

"Twilight?" Fluttershy thought aloud.

Sure enough, the purple girl came flying through the mirror and tumbled across the grass. Spike just hopped out and watched her.

Twi then stood with a chuckle. "That's always so much fun..." she said, brushing herself off before looking at the group. "So, anything new happen since I..." she said, stopping when she saw the ex-siren. Twi looked at her, then her friends, and back at the blue girl. "Uh... What's going on?"

"She came to apologize," said Rarity. "And she sounded very sincere."

"Really?" asked Twilight cautiously, walking towards them with Spike following.

Pinkie nodded. "Yep! Made up and everything!"

"I-I just said I was... sorry..." said Sonata, feeling like the girls ere maybe making it seem like a bigger deal than she thought.

"And, that's a good first step," said Twilight, standing in front of her.

"So, got anyplace to stay this time?" asked Dash.

Twilight looked at her. "Oh, uh... Library's out of the question?"

"You could stay at my place," Sunset offered. All the girls looked at her, making her blush lightly. "In the guest room..."

Twilight smiled. "Thanks."

"Only problem is... they don't allow dogs..."

Rarity looked at Spike, who smiled back. "Twilight... If you want, I could look after Spike for you..."

The purple girl looked at her and smiled. "Thanks, Rarity."

Spike just stared at her, not believing his luck.

"So... do you plan on going to school here?" Twilight asked Sonata, turning to look at her again..

The blue girl looked away. "I-I... Maybe... But, I don't think I'll be accepted after what I did..."

Twilight smiled. "Come on," she said, holding out her hand.

Sonata hesitated before taking Twilight's hand. "Where are we going?"

"To sign up for classes," said Twilight, turning and leading Sonata towards the school.

Applejack eyed Rarity. "You think this is a good idea?" she asked, walking over to her.

The white girl eyed her. "Well, she seems to be turning over a new leaf, doesn't she?"

"Yeah, maybe..." said AJ, watching Twilight lead the ex-siren to the front doors. "Let's go, girls. Classes start soon..."

Signing Up For Classes / Homeroom

View Online

Twilight led Sonata into the school where they got odd looks and angry glares from the other students.

"Oh, I knew this was a bad idea..." said Sonata, trying not to make eye contact with the others.

Twilight looked over at her. "You'll be fine... Sunset Shimmer's even started to redeem herself. No reason why you can't either..."

Sonata smiled at this as Twilight led her to Principle Celestia's office.

"Here we are," said Twilight, knocking on the door. "Maybe we can get signed up before classes begin."

"You think I'll be able to get in today?" asked Sonata with a faint glimmer of hope.

Twi gave her a smile as the door opened, reveling the principle.

"Twilight Sparkle," she said, before noticing Sonata. "And... her?"

"Um... Yeah, about that..." said Twilight, backing up a step so she stood beside the ex-siren. "Go on," she whispered to the blue girl.

Sonata looked at her before looking at Celestia. "I just... I'm sorry for... everything I did... I guess you could call it peer pressure?" she asked with a nervous laugh. Celestia just raised an eyebrow, making the ex-siren sigh. "I'm really sorry... I hope you can forgive me... because... I really wanna go to school here..."

The principle looked at Twilight before looking back at Sonata. "So, you wish to attend school here?" she asked. "You do realize that most of the students, if not all, are still pretty mad about what you and your two friends did last night, right?"

Sonata nodded. "Yeah, but... I hope they can learn to trust me... after time..."

Celestia smiled lightly before Twilight spoke up. "I would actually like to sign up for some classes, too," said Twilight. "So I can learn about your world when I'm here..."

"Would you two please come into my office?" Celestia said, turning and walking into her office.

Twilight smiled and took Sonata's hand, leading her into the room.

"Now, Twilight..." said Celestia, sitting at her desk and logging on to her computer. "You first. Which classes would you like to take?"

"Well, uh... Could you read me a list in case they're different from where I'm from?"

The principle smiled and looked at her computer screen. "Math, Science, Agriculture, History, English and Literature, P.E., Home Economics..."

Twilight smiled widely. "Math, Science, History, and English."

"Like to learn, huh?" asked the principle, adding Twilight to the schedule.

"Yes, ma'am," Twi replied excitedly.

"And, uh..." Celestia started, looking at the ex-siren.

"Sonata Dusk... ma'am..." Sonata added, still feeling extremely nervous but had managed to calm down some.

"Sonata..." Celestia repeated, before looking at Twilight as she clicked print on her computer. "Twilight... Why don't you head to homeroom while I get Sonata set up. It's still a few minutes before homeroom actually starts but it's better than being late." She then took a piece of paper off the printer beside her computer and held it out to Twilight.

The purple girl nodded and took it. "Thanks." She then turned to Sonata. "You good?" she asked.

Sonata looked at her and smiled. "Yeah..." Twilight nodded and turned, heading out the door. "T... Twilight?" Sonata suddenly asked, turning around.

Twi stopped and looked over her shoulder. "Yeah?"

The ex-siren smiled lightly. "Thanks..."

The purple girl gave her a smile. "You're welcome..." She then turned and headed down the halls, looking at her schedule.

~~~~~~
It took a bit of looking but she finally managed to find her homeroom. She put her hand on the doorknob and was ready to open it when she heard a light male moan from inside, followed by a giggle.
"What the..." she thought aloud, opening the door and gasping.
Sitting on the desk was Shining Armor. Kneeling on the floor in front of him was Cadence with her face in his crotch, her head bobbing lightly. They both gasped as Cadence pulled away, right before getting a face-full of Shining's jizz, making her and Twilight blush hard.
Twilight hesitated before entering the room and closing the door. "What are you two doing?!" she asked quietly.
Cadence quickly stood up as Shining Armor zipped up his pants.
"N-No one usually comes in this early..." said Cadence, looking embarrassed.
Shining Armor rubbed the back of his head before noticing Cadence's face. He then grabbed a box of tissues from the desk and pulled out a few before wiping Cadence's face.
"You two were having sex in a classroom?"
Cadence chuckled nervously. "W-Well, uh... J-Just oral?" Twilight sighed and face-palmed. "You won't tell anyone, right?" she asked, her face red with embarrassment.
The purple girl removed her hand from her face and shook her head. "No... And you're lucky it was me who caught you..."
Cadence smiled lightly. "Thank you..." she said, before Shining looked at the clock.
"Almost time for homeroom to start..." he said, getting off the desk. "See ya tonight," he said, heading for the door.
Cadence nodded. "Love you..."
"Love you, too," Shining replied, before leaving.
Twilight just stood there, staring at Cadence before the door opened and students entered. Twilight then turned away and sat down at one of the desks in the front, still looking at Cadence, who took her own seat at the front desk.
A violet girl with black hair down to her shoulders sat down at the desk beside Twilight and looked at her.
"Hey, your're Twilight," she said, sounding excited.
The purple girl looked at her and smiled. "Yep. That's me..."
"That song you and your friends sang last night was awesome!"
Twilight chuckled. "Glad you liked it... though don't expect a show like that every time the Rainbooms play."
"Aww..." said the girl, a little disappointed. "I wanted to see that... uh... Mega Musicorn thing again. It was so cool!"
Twi smirked. "Sorry... Don't count on it."
"Alright, uh... Role call," said Cadence, holding a clipboard and standing up. "Velvet Star?"
"Here!" called the girl beside Twilight.
"Sunny Rays?" Cadence called off, eyeing the purple girl up front.
"Here!" called a male's voice as Twilight mouthed, "Wow..."
Cadence lightly cleared her throat and read off the rest of the list. Once she was finished, she called, "Twilight Sparkle?"
The purple girl hesitated for a second before answering. "Here."
"Alright, you all know what to do. Read, draw, anything until the bell rings," Cadence announced, before sitting at her desk as the students all got out books to read or paper to draw on.
Twilight just looked at Cadence and mouthed, "You had his thing in your mouth," as she pointed to her own mouth.
Cadence nodded and mouthed, "I like it..."
"Why?"
"It feels good..."
"I walked in on you..."
Cadence nodded and kept mouthing words. "I know. I'm sorry..."
Twilight was about to continue when she felt a tap on her left shoulder. She looked over to see Velvet looking at her.
"Ever read these?" she asked, holding up a Daring Do book.
Twilight smiled. "I've read them all..."
"What's your favorite one?" asked Velvet.
The two then got to talking about their favorite book and the series and their favorite moments before the bell rang, signalling that it was time for the school day to begin.
Homeroom
Sonata walked into her homeroom as the teacher was reading off students' names. Everyone stopped and looked at her, making her heart beat faster. Even the teacher seemed to be surprised to see her.
When he finally snapped out of it, the teacher turned to her. "Are you... joining us?" he asked.
Sonata looked at the others before nodding nervously. "Yeah, um... Principle Celestia told me to come here..."
The teacher nodded. "Take a seat, then... Name?"
"Um... Sonata Dusk..." she said softly.
"Sorry, what?" asked the teacher, ready to write her name on the roster.
"U-Uh... Sonata Dusk," the ex-siren repeated louder.
The teacher wrote her name down and nodded. "Alright, uh... Have a seat."
Sonata nodded and looked around the room, glancing at the floor occasionally as she did not want to meet the other students' eyes. Once she saw an empty desk at the back, she turned and began walking around the border of the room. As she approached the desk, the students in the desks beside it watched her, making her even more nervous. Once she got to the desk, she was way too nervous to sit down.
"Miss Dusk?" asked the teacher, making her gasp and look up at him. "A seat?"
Sonata nodded quickly before looking back down at the desk, slowly sitting down. She felt it hard to do given that her legs were wobbly from her nervousness as the students on either side of her eyed her with a look of hatred.
The teacher then set the clipboard down. "All right... Ten minutes till classes start," the teacher announced as Sonata laid her head on her desk and covered it with her hands.
Block 1
After Homeroom, Sonata waited till the other kids had left before leaving, pulling out her schedule from her pants pocket.
"O-Okay..." she said to herself, reading the paper. "Math... Okay... I can do this..." she told herself, trying to build self-confidence while still believing it'll be extremely tough.
The ex-siren continued down the hall until she found her class. Luckily, she was the first one in and found a seat at the back. The teacher looked up from a book and closed it, obviously noticing who she was. After hesitating, he got up and walked over to her, the blue girl looking up at him with a look of uncertainty.
"Just transferred in?" he asked her, receiving a nod. "And what's your name? I have to add you to the class list..."
"Uh... Sonata... Dusk..." the girl replied in a meek voice.
The teacher hesitated, obviously thinking about something, before turning and walking back to his desk.
After about another minute or two, the other students began entering, all either stopping or walking slower as they saw Sonata. The ex-siren hung her head and sighed as the kids all took their seats, a particular lime green girl with white hair sitting beside her. Out of the corner of her eye, Sonata could see that this girl didn't have an angry look, but more of a thoughtful one. But, when Sonata turned to look at her the girl turned away and began taking her math book and notebook from her backpack. The ex-siren sighed again and looked down at her desk, holding back a tear.
"So what's English like?" Twilight asked as she sat down.
"We look at themes in books, movies and stuff," Sunset replied and sat down next to her. "We also look at sentence structure, poetry, grammar, all the usual stuff. Our teacher is Miss Prose. She started working at the school a year ago and is pretty easy going from what I've seen."
"Really? I thought teachers were supposed to act professionally during school hours?"
"I do," the aforementioned teacher stated as she walked into the classroom. She had white skin, orange hair tied up in a ponytail, and blue eyes. She also wore glasses, an off-white skivvy, a dark blue trench coat, black pants, and scuffed sneakers. She then took off her jacket and draped it over the back of her seat. "Unlike most, I understand a kid's take on school quite well. This is my first job since graduating from University, so I try to take a calmer approach. Make things interesting. That sort of thing."
Miss Prose walked over to her desk and pulled out a stack of papers and handed them to Twilight.
"Twilight, since you're early could you put one on each desk? We're doing poetry for the next fortnight and today's lesson will cover these handouts."
"I'll help," Sunset added and split the stack between them.
"I wonder if there are similarities to poetry from Eque-- I mean, from my homeland," Twilight hastily said. "Because I'm from, um... out of town and--"
"Are ponies usually terrible liars?" Prose asked with a smirk.
"How did you--?"
"I saw some YouTube videos detailing a few times one of your friends 'pony'd up', did some research about ancient legends regarding magical equines, and asked around school. No big deal," their teacher replied.
"So a magical pony princess from another dimension shows up and you're perfectly fine with that idea?" Sunset asked as she continued to place papers.
"Pretty much. S'not like Twilight is flaunting her royal status and everyone else seems cool with it."
The bell rang for class to start as students filed in and took their seats.
"Today, we begin learning about poetry," Miss Prose began. "If everyone could start reading the two sets on your desk, after fifteen minutes we'll compare the differences and similarities between standard poetry and modern day song lyrics."
Block 2
Twilight sat down at a table in her science class, waiting for it to start.
"Oh, this is going to be so fun..." she beamed as Spike looked up at her from the floor.
"Excited much?" he asked her.
"Of course! It's... science..." she answered with a smile.
Spike rolled his eyes with a smile as the teacher, a yellow woman with blue hair down to her shoulders, walked over to her.
"You must be Twilight," she said with a smile. "A pleasure to have you in our class."
"Well, it's a pleasure to be here," Twi replied with a smile as the teacher spotted Spike.
"Oh..." she said, sounding slightly excited. "Is this your talking dog I've heard about?"
"Yes, I am," said Spike proudly.
"Well, this certainly is going to be an interesting day," the teach said. "We promise not to dissect him," she said jokingly as Twilight smiled.
"Uh... What's dissect?" asked Spike as the other kids all came in.
Twilight only chuckled at his question and looked ahead, waiting for class to start. As she did, she saw Sunset enter the room and smiled, waving her over.
"Twilight?" Asked the orange girl, walking over to her table. "You're in this class?" She then sat down in the seat beside her.
"Yep," Twi said happily. "They stuck me in the higher level classes as a 4th Year since I already know everything else."
Sunset let out a chuckle as she opened her backpack. "Lucky you... I,on the other hand, had to start from the beginning." She set a couple books down on the table.
Twilight eyed the books and began looking through her pack. "Uh..."
"You don't have them, do you?" Asked Sunset.
The purple girl looked over at her and smiled sheepishly. "I don't think so..."
Shimmer rolled her eyes as she slid her books between them on the table. "We'll share. We're supposed to find a lab partner today for our next project, anyways, so... How 'bout it?"
The new girl smiled and nodded. "Sounds great, thanks. I'll see if I can get the books for myself this weekend."
Sunset gave her a smile before looking at the teacher.
Class went by as you would expect; Everyone was given an assignment and the partners began working. Twilight and Sunset stared at their vial, wondering if they got it right.
"I think that's it," Shimmer said, eyeing her partner.
Twilight rubbed her chin. "Certainly looks it..."
Both girls sat back before Twi reached for it. Not realizing her partner was doing so, Sunset did the same. Their hands touched as the both went to pick up the vial. They quickly looked at each other before there was a spark of magic from where their hands touched. They pulled away and looked down at the vial to see it change its color to a dark purple.
"What..." Sunset started to ask before the vial began to shake.
Letting out a gasp, both girls ducked as there was a loud POOF, a puff of purple smoke coming from the vial. Twi and Sunset looked at the potion again before eyeing each other.
"Um... Well..." Twilight started, rubbing the back of her head. "Not sure what that was all about... or what exactly that.. spark was from..."
Shimmer gave her a light smile before looking around the classroom, seeing everyone staring at them. Letting out a chuckle, she raised her hand slightly.
"It's okay..." she said reassuringly, before looking at the teacher. "Our bad..."
The teacher gave a light smile. "Well, I was right about this being an interesting day..."
Twilight gave her a smile before looking at the mysterious concoction, wondering what it did exactly.
