Snowdrop
Rainbow looked out her dark window. She looked out into the dark and gloomy night. Her hair was no longer rainbow. It was white. It was in a bun and was sparkling in the moonlight. She took the bun out and let her long mane flow. Her hair was wavy at her side. Her eyes were a light blue. Her cutie mark was know three snowflakes, each a different size. Her coat was kind of the same. It was cyan but, was a little lighter. She looked out the window again. She sighed and slowly walked out her door. She flew down to a patch of flowers that were a little far away from her house. She touched one of the flowers. Once her hoof touched the flower, it was covered in frost. She sighed and stood up. She looked at the night sky.
"My sister. I wish you were here. Even though you are younger, you brought me great joy." Rainbow said.
A small tear streamed drown her cheek. She looked at the sky again . She swore she saw a light blue comet coming down in Equestria. It turns out it was heading for Equestria. There was a huge explosion when the comet impacted.
"What the?" Rainbow flew over to the crash site, and everything behind her turned frosty.
There was a huge crater, meaning that something defiantly crashed here. She looked inside the crater and inside was a foal. She had a coat exactly like hers. She had a mane and tail that had blue and white curls. She was a pegasus, like her. Her cutie mark was a snowflake flower. She was all beaten up and had scratches bruises from her fall. Rainbow looked astonshied and yet very calm. Only one word came to mind.
"Snowdrop?" Rainbow flew down into the crater. She checked her pulse. She was alive. She sighed in relief and picked the filly up. She put her on her back and flew back to her house.
She looked down at the filly and smiled. She was determined to keep her safe. She grabbed a medical kit and started to treat her. After she treated her wounds, she layed Snowdrop down on the couch and covered her up. Tomorrow, she was going to go get some supplies to decorate an extra room for her. She was happy to have her sister back. Though she can't explain how or why she's back she just decided to enjoy her time with her long lost sister. She stomped her hooves on her ground but, not loud enough to wake Snowdrop up. She slowly changed back into her normal Rainbow dash self. She looked at the sleeping foal on last time and went up to her room. She layed down in her bed and thought about what tomorrow might bring. She opened her eyes again and said..
"How am I going to explain this to my friends?" She asked herself quietly. Then she thought of something else. Her eyes widened.
"But more importantly, how am I going to explain this to Scootaloo?" She asked in horror. Eventully, she decied to lull herself to sleep.
Snowdrop rolled of the couch. She slowly opened her eyes to reveal a house. She was confused by this. She was blind there is no possible way she could see. She got up and looked around. She could see things just fine. She heard soft hoove steps coming towards her. She looked and she saw a beautiful rainbow mare. She was a pegasus like her and had magenta eyes and a cyan coat. She had a rainbow mane and tail which confused her greatly. Is her mane a rainbow or is a rainbow her mane? Snowdrop shake of the thought and looked the the mare.
"Hello Snowdrop. You probley don't rememeber me am I right?" The mare said. The truth is Snowdrop has no idea who this mare is. The mare giggled at her confusion.
"Maybe you'll rememeber me like this."
The mare stomped her hooves on the ground and frost began to cover her. Once the frost totally covered her, a blue light shined from the inside. After that the frost broke and out came a mare that even she rememebered. Even though she couldn't see a long time ago, she got a discription from her mother. She had her mane and tail except her mane was in a ponytail and the bang has grown out more. She had her light blue eyes and light cyan coat. Her cutie mark was three snowflakes each a different size. She rememebered the name perfectly.
"Winter!" Snowdrop ran and hugged her big sis.
"Nice to see you again Snowdrop. I was afraid that you forgot me this being the first time you can see me." Winter said.
"No way! Mom gave me a discription of you a long time ago. I might have not been able to see you but I sure as feathers can imagine you!" Snowdrop said. If she was going to be found by anyone she would want it to be her sister.
"Well, now that you know who I am, I guess I should explain the time difference." Winter said as she sat Snowdrop down.
"A long time ago, the princesses gave me a gift. A gift of immortality. I refused to be an alicorn but, I wanted to live forever so, in solution they just gave me immortality. After you died the princesses became sad and in an act of generosity, gave everyone one wish. Of course I knew that I had all of eternity to make my wish so, I held onto it. The princesses must have given you a wish too. To be able to see must be what you wished for. I wished that you can have immortality like me. And be able to live together without fading and being able to see how Equestria changes. That's what I wished for. Now you're here with me and that's all that matters. But, I have made some friends in this new timeline and their names are Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie pie, and Twilight Sparkle. You must not let them know who I am. Sooner or later I'm going to have to fake death. They bought it when I faked another childhood. You see, we age just when we die I come back as a filly and you come back as a baby. Point is that you can't let them know youre my sister. You can't let anybody know. It would make us both end up in a lab. K?" Winter explained. Snowdrop nodded her head. Winter smiled and started to head up to the bathroom. Then Winter turned to Snowdrop and said something that confused her even more.
"Oh and Snowdrop, just call me Rainbow dash." With that Winter went up the stairs to get ready for one long day.
