Deep in a beautiful and magical forest, one which held waterfalls and secret caves filled with magical crystals, there was a small town hidden away from all of Equestria. This town doesn’t have an official name, as most no pony knows it exists, but the residents call their little home, Silver Valley, after the rare silver crystals that appear all over the forest. In Silver Valley, every pony knows each other, from the new born foals to the wisest elders, but two of the most well-known ponies, were Lucky Shot and Sunny Smiles. Lucky Shot was a pale yellow unicorn filly with dark freckles around her face, ears, flank and hooves, light blue eyes and wavy long blue and light blue striped hair. She may not have the best magical abilities, but she`s got luck on her side, as her name suggests. The other filly was also a unicorn, her name was Sunny Smiles. Sunny Smiles was purplish light blue, with deep violet eyes and short messy platinum blond hair. Sunny Smiles could always be seen with a smile on her face, and she used her magic to give the other residents a little show.

Lucky and Sunny were the best of friends, always doing everything together, in fact they had discovered many mysteries in Silver Valley, but today was a very special day, for today the two fillies were going to see the Full Moon Flowers bloom! Full Moon Flowers were, as their name suggests, flowers that bloomed on the fullest moon, and only once every year! It was also said that if you look into the largest flower of the batch, you`ll see your cutie mark, if you haven’t got it already. For the past three years, the Uni-duo have been looking tirelessly for the mystical flower. And today they were, very, very, very sure they would find the flower, sure they were sure last year, and the year before that, but this year, this year was the one! So they began to get ready for the big adventure in their tree-house.

“C`mon Lucky! This is going to be super, super, super amazingly cool!” Sunny said as she bounced up and down, waiting for the other pony to finish packing the snacks for the trip into her saddle bag.

“I`m hurrying, I`m hurrying- oh should I bring some books and a flashlight?” the pale pony inquired. Sunny nodded, rummaging through a chest filled with books and shuffling through them, picked out her and Lucky`s favorite.

“We have our magic, so I don`t think we`ll need flashlights, but I`ve been eating lots and lots of carrots, so I probably have night-vision now!” Smiles rambled on as she stuffed a few books into her rainbow colored and glitter covered saddle bag.
And so the two fillies made their way off to the meadow of Full Moon Flowers at around after lunch, so they`d have lots of time to find the biggest flower, and so they wouldn’t have to rush, unlike last year.

“Lucky~ Lucky~! I think I found the biggest flower!” Sunny squealed, circling around a gigantic dark blue flower.

“Golly, I think you`re right.” Lucky exclaimed, “I don`t think I`ve ever seen a flower that big! How amazing!” she looked the flower over carefully, engulfed in her curiosity. Sunny giggled, smiling happily as she watched her friend, it was always nice to see her so excited. She felt a swell of pride that she found the flower, and after all this time too!

“Well, I guess we should just hang out until nightfall!” Lucky said in a sing-song voice as she put her saddle bag on the ground next to her and sat down. Smiles did the same and pulled out their favorite book, which was a book about nearly all the magical beings in Equestria.

“I wish we knew more about Changelings… I think they`re cool…” Lucky said, she sighed dreamily as she thought about what she could discover if she met a real life Changeling.

“Well I wanna meet a dragon for sure! They sound so cool! I mean, they breathe fire! That`s super, super, super awesome!” Smiles squealed, clapping her hooves together.

“But don’t dragons kidnap ponies…?” Lucky asked worriedly.

“Oh don`t worry Partner! I know you`ll come save me if a dragon kidnaps me! Like a prince in those stories!” Smiles said happily, looking at her best friend earnestly. Lucky blushed and looked away quickly, dumbfounded, though she was smiling that Sunny had so much faith and trust in her.

“Hey look at what it says about Manticores!”

“Oh? Did we miss something from our last read, Smiles?”
Soon night fell, and the fillies, who had become engulfed in a mystery book, were now using their magic to light their surroundings… until the wind began to pick up, alarmingly. The book flew out of their hooves and they both flinched and got up quickly.

“What`s going on? It`s not normally this super, super wind!” Sunny stated. Lucky shrugged, a worried look on her face.

“Maybe it`s a wind storm?” she suggested uneasily. But that idea was quickly disproved when their magic fizzled out without warning and the darkness of the night began to creep up on them. “Sunny… I-I`m scared…” Lucky cried out, huddling closer to her friend.

“It`s fine Lucky! We`ll be fine!’ the blue unicorn said confidently, her voice filled with positivity.

Suddenly the wind turned into a swirl of dark smoke, it shoved Lucky Shot away from Sunny Smiles and began to engulf the blonde pony, who shrieked. Lucky screamed in horror and tried to get to her friend, but the black wind hit her, throwing her back by a few feet. Lucky fell onto the ground painfully. Helplessly, she watched Sunny get whisked off by the smoke.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“LUCKY! LUCKY HELP ME PLEASE!” she cried out desperately. Lucky tried to get up but she began to black out.

“N-no… I need to save Sunny…”
“SUNNY! SUNNY! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!” Lucky Shot called out fitfully as she ran through the meadow.

“Lucky dear… I don`t think you`re going to find her… I`m sorry sweetie, but we need to go home, it`s not safe here…” Lucky Shot`s mother, a silver and pink unicorn mare named Mirror Image, said sadly as she used her magic to lift her foal off the ground.

“B-but I need to find Sunny!” Lucky cried, hyperventilating. Her mother pulled her into a hug, letting the filly sob into her chest.

“We`ll send a search party sweetie, I promise we`ll find her…” she said, though she wasn’t so sure of her words.

“AND STAY OUT!” and with that a full-grown Lucky Shot was kicked out of the ice cream shop.

“Well, I guess ice cream making isn’t my thing… oh well.” She said, getting up and brushing the dust off of herself. She wasn’t going to let being fired get her down, she needed to move on! So with a skip in her step she walked through the small town, until she felt a small shivery twinge in her belly. With a smile she turned her attention to a pony in the sky, their features were indistinguishable from so up high, just on the outside of the town. The blue haired pony made her way over to watch. The pony appeared to be trying to accomplish a particularly difficult aerial trick.

The pegasi pony began to speed down to the ground, just before they hit the ground they made a breakneck turn upwards and they began to spin until they started to loop around and then they shot back down, but before they hit the ground, they began to slow down, gracefully settling to the ground. It was then that Lucky Shot was able to see what the pony looked like. They were a pegasi mare, with red fur, messy, short brown hair and dark grey/purple eyes. The pegasi had a green blue and pink humming bird for a cutie mark. The pale mare clapped.

“That was very good! Very amazing!” she said. The red mare blushed and scratched the back of her head.

“Aw man, I have a fan already?” The mare asked, “Heheh want an ato-OH NO!” the mare suddenly yelled, looking quite worried as she pawed at her neck.

“Wh-what`s wrong?” Lucky Shot asked worriedly.

“M-my scarf! I think I lost it while I was flying! Oh no, oh no!”

“Here, I`ll help you find it! What does it look like?”

The mare looked at the unicorn in surprise, “R-really? Well it`s big and bright yellow!”

Lucky hummed, “Yellow and big, got it! Don`t worry if we work together we can find it fast!”

After a hour or so of searching, the scarf was found.

“Oh thank Celestia! I don`t know what I would have done if I had lost if forever!” the mare giggled happily as she wrapped the bright yellow scarf around her neck.

“It`s no problem! I`m happy to help… uh… I don`t think I know your name?” the freckled unicorn said.

“Oh It`s Wild Flyer! What about you?”

“I`m Lucky Shot.”

“Lucky Shot? So your talents luck I assume?” the mare said, looking at Lucky`s cutie mark, which showed a four leaf clover with three coins at the end of a rainbow.

The blue haired unicorn shook her head, “No, my luck actually affects others; I have some bad luck happen to me and then good luck happens to others. Like now, I got fired from my job today, and you did your aerial trick and found your scarf.” Wild Flyer gasped.

“So you lost your job because of me?!”

“Wh-what n-no! It`s not your fault-” but Lucky Shot`s words fell on deaf ears, as she was quickly dragged away by Wild Flyer.

“H-here, I`ll make it up to you, I promise!”
“L-listen! You really don’t need to do this!” Lucky stammered as Wild Flyer dragged her into a rather nice looking two one story house.

“Don`t worry! We need our final tenet anyways!” the Pegasus said, smiling.

“B-but I don`t have any money, or a job!”

“This place is kinda like a request board! You can earn your keep by doing requests!”

“… wait really? Are you serious?” the unicorn was dumbfounded, this seemed to be good.

“Yeah! We just gotta wait for Daisy to get here, she`s owns this place, so her say goes! She`s also a skilled medic so any injuries we get on the job are taken care of, for free.”

“T-that`s… amazing!” Wild simply nodded.

“Well I better give you the grand tour!”

The ground tour wasn’t so grand, as the house wasn’t that big, but it was still nice. There was kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room, a storage room and 3 large bed rooms with 3 rooms each in them.

“So, who else lives here?” Lucky asked as she and Wild sat at the kitchen, drinking some hot chocolate as they waited for Daisy to return.

“Well there`s me, Daisy, Candle, Glitter, Lovebug, Foamy and Storm.” Wild explained, tapping her hoof on the table. “Though, those are just their nicknames, you`ll know their full names when you meet them.” The unicorn only nodded, imagining as to what these ponies could be like.

The front door opened with a tired “I`m back.”

“Heya, Daisy! I found somepony to fill the final room slot!” the Pegasus called. “Her names Lucky Shot!”

“Mrs. Flyer would you please wait for me to enter the room you are in before you talk.” Daisy shot back, an annoyed tone.

“Yeah, yeah…” the scarfed one mumbled.

Daisy, who was an earth pony, looked like a panda in coloring, with green eyes, fluffy pink and light pink striped mane and a Band-Aid cross with the letters I L Y across it. She had bags under her eyes and looked, very, very tired. Her eyes scanned across the room, she huffed, shook her head and proceeded to brew up some coffee.

“Does she have a job?” she asked.

“N-no, I don`t…” Lucky mumbled under her breath, feeling embarrassed. Daisy let out another sigh.

“Has Wild Flyer explained everything to you?”

Lucky nodded.

“….Ok, we needed to fill in our final slot… I`m Oppsie Daisy, I work as a nurse.” The nurse explained, sitting down with a cub of joe, she put 5 cubes of sugar in, and lots of milk. “Everyone else is out on a mission, but Candle Wishes and Ladybug Dances should be back by tomorrow.” The unicorn nodded, taking in everything that was said to her. Daisy took a long sip of her coffee.

“I wish I could stay but I have to go to my next shift in an hour and I only came here for the coffee.” She said, before downing her beverage, putting the cup in the sink and, rushed off.

Wild laughed, “Sorry, she`s not the most friendly pony ever.” She said.

Lucky laughed, “It`s fine, I think it`s charming.”
