A Keldeo ends up in the world of Equestria,and the Mane 6 will try to help him return home,while an ancient menace threatens to destroy Keldeo.
When a Keldeo stumbles into the world of Equestria, the Mane 6 befriend this odd pony and decide to help him go back home. But his sudden appearance in Equestria was no mere coincidence,as it was foretold that a colt Pokemon would destroy a menace that threatened Equestria in ancient times. Will Keldeo be able to destroy the ancient menace and return to his world?
Thunder rumbled loudly in the sky,followed by an intense downpour brought in by powerful winds created by the Cyclone Pokemon,Tornadus battling his arch-nemesis, Thundurus. The battle between two of the members of the Forces of Nature had created a powerful hurricane in Undella Bay. Hordes of Pokemon fled from the area,with one in particular leading the hordes to safety.
"Over here,over here! Evacuate the area!"cried Keldeo,the youngest member of the Swords of Justice.
"Keldeo get yourself out of here! We will take care of the rest of the Pokemon!"exclaimed Terrakion,the toughest member of the Swords of Justice.
"But I want to help!"complained Keldeo,"Come on you guys,I already know Secret Sword,can I help?"
"We know you can use your sword Keldeo,but we want you to be safe,"explained Cobalion,the leader of the Swords of Justice.
"But,will you guys be okay?"asked Keldeo,as he was very worried about his mentors.
"Don't worry Keldeo,we will be fine,"replied Virizon,the quickest member of the team. Keldeo looked at his mentors and nodded,and followed the other Pokemon into the forest.
"I have to save myself",he thought,"I won't stop until I'm safe!" Keldeo failed to notice a tree in front of him,but instead of crashing,he disappeared as his horn touched the tree.
A huge storm raged around Equestria,and Princess Twilight Sparkle was pacing around frantically reading every book in the Golden Oaks Library in Ponyville.
"Why are you so worried Twilight?"asked Spike,her most loyal companion,"It's just a storm,it's not that bad."
"This isn't just some random Pegasi-created storm Spike!"replied Twilight,"This is an unnatural storm,and never in the history of Equestria has there ever been a freak storm like this,this could be an omen!"
Suddenly,the ground started to rumble,and an odd whistling sound screeched through the town.
"Earthquake!!"cried Spike.
Soon after the earthquake,a large explosion was heard,followed by the sound of hooves stomping on the ground.
"What is that?!"asked Twilight as she ran out of the library followed by Spike. As soon as she poked her head out of the library,a blue blur raced through town and crashed into the lake in town.
"Oh no! We have to help it Twilight!"cried Spike,and with Twilight's telekinetic magic,she carried an unconscious mud-covered heap into the library.
"Ugh..."moaned the creature.
"He's waking up Twilight!"called Spike,"Are you okay? What are you? What's your name?"
"My name?"replied the creature. The creature stood up,but he was completely covered in mud,thus his identity was hard to figure out.
As soon as Twilight brought the pony into the library,she called the other Elements of Harmony to help her with these strange events. Several minutes after she had called them,5 ponies dashed into the library.
"We came here as fast as we could darling,"gasped Rarity as she opened the door,with Rainbow Dash,Fluttershy,Pinkie Pie and Applejack close behind.
"What happened Twilight? Did you happen to find what is the cause of this freaky thunderstorms?"asked Rainbow Dash,followed by a thunder crash that frightened Fluttershy.
"This storm has been scaring all my little animals at home! Elizabeak and the other chickens make very large rackets whenever they hear a thunder crash!"Fluttershy added quietly.
"What is goin' on here?"asked Applejack,"Why did ya call us?"
"It turns out that this storm was not created by pegasi,and never in the history of Equestia has something like this ever happened!"exclaimed Twilight.
"But isn't that already pretty obvious?"asked Rainbow Dash.
"Now that you think about it...it is pretty obvious,"Twilight admitted,quite embarrassed.
"But didn't you say that you also found an unconscious pony?"asked Rarity.
"Yes!"replied Twilight,"He is unlike any pony I have ever seen,and I don't think he is from Ponyville."
"Oooh! A new pony?"exclaimed Pinkie Pie,"That means that I'm going to throw him a big 'Welcome to Ponyville' party! Ooh,it's going to be so exciting! I'm going to need tons of balloons,streamers,invitations,party hats,and most importantly,cake!"
As Pinkie babbled on her list,a pony walked down the stairs of Twilight's study to the main room,followed by Spike.The pony had a bright crimson mane,blue hooves,a cream colored coat,a small curved horn on his head,and a sky blue tail. He also had a portion of his coat the same color as his tail,as well as 2 blue crests on the sides of his head.
"Wow,now that is one strange lookin' pony,"said Applejack.
"Urgh...where am I...Who are you?"asked the new pony in an accent unknown to the 6 mares.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie,your new best friend! The other ponies behind me are Twilight,Rarity,Fluttershy,Rainbow Dash and Applejack! Oh! I forgot about him,that little dragon is Spike!" Pinkie replied excitedly.
"Excuse me,but who are you?"asked Rarity examining the new pony carefully.
The pony looked at the 6 mares with curiosity. They were unlike anything he had ever seen back in the Unova region,and the white one called Rarity reminded him of a Rapidash,only without the flames.
"I'm Keldeo."he replied proudly,"And I am a Sword of Justice!"
"A sword of justice?"asked Rainbow Dash,"You certainly don't look like any kind of sword to me."
As soon as the words Sword of Justice rang in her ears,she immediately ran to a bookshelf and her horn lit up as she started to look for a book she had previously read with the same title as Keldeo called himself.
"What are you looking for Twilight?"asked Spike as he picked up the books Twilight accidentally threw as she searched.
"I read that name somewhere,Spike,if only I can find it..."replied Twilight while still searching.
"What name? Swords of Justice?"asked Applejack,"Is it a book about the history of knights or somethin?"
"Here it is!"exclaimed Twilight,"The Swords of Justice,by Alextallion Dumare."
Twilight had in her hooves a rather old book,with yellowing pages,a dull blue color,and fading white letters. Keldeo started to look around the library meanwhile the other ponies came up to Twilight to check out the book.
"The Swords of Justice? Is that one of those books eggheads like to read?"asked Rainbow Dash.
"Of course we eggheads like to read this book,it's a classic among many others!"exclaimed Twilight,"The story is about a 3 ponies that were the royal guards of a king.They were Cobalion,who was the leader of the group,Terrakion,who was the toughest of the group,and Virizion,who was the quickest and the only female of the group. One day,they find an orphaned unicorn who had the capacity to control water at his will.His name...was Keldeo"
"Do you mean that maybe this Keldeo may be the Keldeo spoken in this story?"asked Fluttershy.
"I really am not sure,Fluttershy,"replied Twilight,"The book doesn't explain the characteristics of the 4 ponies."
Keldeo looked at the books in the shelves,his nose poking around the spines of the books.
"This is a very odd place indeed..."thought Keldeo,"These creatures can read,sleep in beds,and live in houses just like humans!"
Keldeo wasn't watching where he was going and crashed into a bookshelf,knocking several dusty books off the shelves.
"Oh dear,it means that I have more books to pick up..."sighed Spike,and picked up the books in a flash.
"Who do you think will be able to tell us who this pony is,or where he comes from?"asked Rainbow Dash.
"I think this means that we need a trip to the Canterlot Castle and inform Princess Celestia about these matters,"replied Twilight,"Spike! Get some paper,ink and a quill,I need you to write a letter to Princess Celestia."
