Fluffle Puff is a fluffy pony. Carefree, happy, clueless but lovably cute. Is Chrysalis or Ponyville ready for the antics of this adorable ball of fluff? maybe not!

Chrysalis tags along in the many adventures of Fluffle Puff, and anypony who happens to get stuck in the fluff. Boxes will fly, filly's will run, and Chrysalis will be loved to little fluffy bits! Is Chrysalis or Ponyville ready for the antics of this adorable ball of fluff?
I've never written a comedy before and I'm really bad at being funny so as you might understand this story might not be as funny as one may think but some situations might be humorous. I will update the story when not working on other stories, in the meantime happy reading!
12:03 AM, Ponyville. Everypony was sleeping in their beds all over the small little town. Princess Twilight Sparkle had just finished reading a book. She closed it and placed it on the sorting pile before hopping out of her seat and rubbing her eyes. Something was watching the alicorn from the shadows. It scurried past her from behind and hid again right as Twilight turned to see if anypony was around.
"H-Hello? Spike are you awake?" There was no answer. Twilight shrugged and started making her way upstairs. "Probably Fluffle Puff playing tricks again."
A pair of eyes that glowed green watched as Twilight ascended the stairs, it squinted at her and followed like a shadow in the night. It moved quickly and seamlessly, moving from ground to air, and hiding when Twilight turned to look.
"Fluffle if you're playing a trick on me..." Twilight sounded a tiny bit afraid.
She took two more steps up the stairs looking down them to be sure nopony was following her. She stepped into the kitchen and sighed. "It's just your imagination Twilight, get a grip." She took a deep breath and turned her back to the stairs and made her way to the next set of stairs that led up to the bedrooms.
All was quiet when suddenly the fridge door swung open, startling Twilight who screamed with fright. The panicking alicorn covered her face with her wings, shaking like a leaf. She moved a feather out of her right eye to see if there were any monsters or ghosts. Twilight however, didn't see neither one except a very hungry Fluffle Puff. The lavender alicorn lifted an eyebrow at the pink fluffy pony who was holding three bars of candy. Fluffle Puff looked back at Twilight, her mouth wide open and her eyes unblinking. Fluffle Puff slowly put the sweets back into the fridge and slowly shut the fridge door. As she did, Twilight saw a night terror in the light of the refrigerator. It made a scary face and made its hands into claws and made the hissing of a snake before its shadow vanished behind the door. Twilight stood frozen in one place. Her eyes were wide and her pupils had shrunk from the fear. Fluffle Puff walked over to Twilight and licked her cheek, followed by softly patting the same cheek with her right hoof and going upstairs to bed. Twilight stayed motionless for a good while, eventually she slowly Minecraft walked up the stairs and got into bed. She darted under the blankets and pulled them over her and ended up staying wide awake all night until dawn. By day break, Twilight was still hiding under her blankets when Chrysalis came in to see if she was up.
"Twilight are you still asleep?"
Twilight was silent.
"Twilight?"
Still no answer.
"... Twilight!" Chrysalis was getting annoyed.
Twilight stayed under her blankets. "...."
Chrysalis's left eye twitched. "TWILIGHT!!!" She shouted.
"Yaaargh!!" Twilight jumped out of her bed and clung to the ceiling like a cat with Chrysalis looking up at her from below.
"Twilight.."
"Y-Y-Yeah?"
"Are you alright?"
"N-n-no...." She sighed.
Fluffle Puff crawled upside down on the ceiling and absorbed Twilight in her fluff and continued walking. Twilight came out the other end covered in pink fluff. Fluffle Puff walked down the wall, stepping onto Twilight's bed, hopped off the bed then walked up Chrysalises leg and came to a stop on her underbelly.
Chrysalis giggled at Fluffle Puff but looked at Twilight bemused. "So, what's the matter?"
Twilight flopped face first onto the floor with her wings flapping frantically. She shook her head in a daze and got up, brushing herself off with her wings.
"I haven't gotten much sleep lately..."
"Obviously."
Fluffle Puff crawled onto Chrysalis's back and sat there with her tongue sticking out. Twilight checked under her bed, in her toy box, behind her bookshelf, in her closet, in Fluffle's fluff and finally in Spikes bed.
"So... what exactly are you looking for?" The changeling raised an eyebrow.
"Monsters, little mean looking monsters."
"Well it wasn't me. I was sleeping, and Fluffle puff can prove it."
"Pllth" Fluffle Puff blew a razz-berry at them both, having little to no understanding of what they were talking about. The changeling looked at the pink fluffy pony.
"Fluffle. I was sleeping right?"
Fluffle nodded with a smile. Chrysalis smiled and looked back at Twilight.
"See princess? Fluffle Puff knows."
"Did she tell you she's the one eating your chocolate?" Twilight looked at the both of them annoyed.
Chrysalis froze up for a moment while Fluffle Puff puckered her lips, her pupils shrinking, she then looked at Chrysalis.
Chrysalis turned her head to face Fluffle Puff with an angry glare. "So that's why my chocolate's been disappearing!"
Fluffle Puff slowly jumped off of Chrysalis and ran as fast as she could. Chrysalis growled and chased after Fluffle Puff.
"Come back here you thieving cloud!!"
Twilight rolled her eyes and sighed. She shook her head and stopped searching to get back to work. Later that day, Fluffle Puff was wandering around the library carrying a book in her mouth. She entered Twilight's office and paused in the doorway to tilt her head at the lavender unicorn whose back was turned to her. Twilight was writing letters to the princesses at her desk. Fluffle got down on the floor and slid across it on her belly. Twilight turned her head around to look at the door and raised an eyebrow before turning back to her work. Fluffle popped up on Twilight's right and sank back down just before Twilight could look to her right. Twilight started to feel uneasy and returned to her writing until Fluffle came up behind the unicorn and breathed down her neck. Twilight yelped and jumped up into the air and used her wings to get herself atop a book shelf to hide. Shaking and covering her face, Twilight peeked over the edge of the shelf down to Fluffle Puff who was looking up at her with a friendly smile. Twilight sighed and face hoofed at her own silliness.
"Ugh..." She hopped off the shelf and hovered back down to the floor. "I've got to stop being so afraid...."
Fluffle Puff walked over to Twilight and patted her on the head before walking away, leaving Twilight bemused. Chrysalis watched Fluffle Puff leave Twilight's office then looked into the room to see Twilight had finished writing her letter. The changeling looked at Fluffle puff walking in the direction of the living room and followed the Fluffy Pony unaware of the shadow that was behind her. Fluffle Puff turned around as Chrysalis kept moving and saw the creature blow a raspberry and vanish. Fluffle having seen the apparition stared wide eyed with her mouth open in shock. She back away and ran screaming into her Fun Cave made of pillows and hid. Chrysalis was sitting nearby and had watched Fluffle run past and into her pillow house. She lifted her eyebrow in confusion and looked over at the hallway.
"What the fluff's wrong with her?"
Chrysalis saw Spike enter the living room, he waved at Chrysalis whilst carrying a vase. Chrysalis waved back awkwardly and watched Spike rest the vase on a table and walk upstairs.
"Hmm..." Chrysalis thought with a pout. She turned her head to look at Fluffle Puff.
The fluffy pony was peeping through a crack in the Fun Caves and seemed quite scared. Chrysalis got up to Fluffle Puffs peep hole and put on a scary face.
"Boo!"
Fluffle screamed as loud as she could much to the changelings delight. Chrysalis laughed and wiped a tear from her eyes, stopping her laughter when Fluffle started running around the room while still inside the Fun Cave. Chrysalis sighed.
"Okay Fluffle, fun's over."
Fluffle Puff opened the pillow door and looked up to Chrysalis. The queen sighed and giggled.
"You're so adorable fuzzball." She ruffled Fluffles fur and walked to the door. "Come on Fluffle. Lets go outside."
Fluffle gasped and ran over to Chrysalis and out the door. Chrysalis sighed and rolled her eyes and exited the library. Yelling at Fluffle Puff outside.
Later that night Twilight was in her office, reading late again as she had the previous night. She flipped through the pages of her book, reading every paragraph as her eyes scrolled down the pages until she heard hoof steps upstairs. Her eyes lifted up from the page and looked toward the ceiling where the hoof steps came from. The unicorn put a book mark between page 37 and 38, closed and lowered the book onto the table beside her. She got up off her chair, levitating a broom as she did and exited her office. She approached the stairs and slowly walked up them, holding the broom closely. She entered the kitchen and looked around in the darkness for spots that were darker then others. In the same room was Fluffle Puff armed with a pillow and walking backwards looking around. Twilight was also backing up, looking around vigilantly. The fluffy pony and the unicorn slowly backed up into each other, giving one another a fright which had both of them running around the kitchen for a hiding spot.
"Aaargh!!" Screamed Twilight.
Fluffle Puff squealed loudly and ran around the Kitchen with Twilight doing the same. Twilight hid inside the refrigerator while Fluffle Puff went into hiding under the sink. Both ponies kept to their hiding places for a while before peeking out from the doors to see if anypony was around. They each came out of their hiding spots and looked around again until spying one another. Fluffle closed her mouth and puckered her lips with her pupils shrinking. Twilight looked mad at the fluffy pony.
"Fluffle?!"
"Plplp"
"Don't you hello me! What are you doing out so late?"
"Plplp pllp plp plp plp pp pllllup"
"You're looking for a night terror like I am?"
Fluffle nodded. Twilight sighed.
"Alright you can help. I heard it around here. Maybe it's still skulking about."
Fluffle nodded with a smile then pulled out a pair of sunglasses from her fluff, and a biker helmet. She put them both on and put her pillow in her mouth and ravenously shook it. Afterwards they began their search around the kitchen for the night terror that has been terrifying the both of them. They spent half an hour searching through cupboards and drawers searching for the creature to no avail, it was if the creature didn't exist at all and was taunting them both.
"Where is it..." Twilight looked around with Fluffle Puff.
The sound of creaking began to fill the ears of Fluffle and Twilight, following the creaking was the sound of fluttering and pans being moved. The unicorn and the fluffy pony looked in the direction of the flapping and backed up.
"Careful Fluffle Puff don't let it get you." Twilight said in a cautious voice.
The fluttering sound soon turned to scratching and it moved across the wall and then jumped away and landed with a thump in front of Fluffle Puff and Twilight. The unicorn and the fluffy pony stare din horror as a large shadow rose up and stared down at them.
"Bah!"
Twilight and Fluffle Puff were silent for a moment before screaming in terror and dropping their pillow and broom. They ran back to their rooms in fright. Twilight hid under her blanket and Fluffle Puff hid inside her Fun Cave, and they didn't come out for the rest of the night.

The next morning, Chrysalis was trying her best to sleep in. Her mane was a mess, and tail was curled with hair out of place, she was drooling onto her pillow and her bed sheets were a mess. She was snoring quite loudly. The rooster crowed at Sweet Apple Acres, waking up the residents of Ponyville, all of the citizens were happily getting up and yawning, preparing to open their businesses for the day. But Chrysalis groaned and covered her head with her wet pillow which seemed to annoy her further. She looked bemused and sighed, putting down the pillow and getting up to go to the bathroom. She opened the bathroom door and stepped inside. She yawned and continued walking over to the sink where she turned on the tap, washed her face with a towel, brushed her mane and tail, and brushed her teeth. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled with her teeth showing. She then started to sway her head left and right making her mane swish about until it covered her face and got in her mouth.
"P-pfft pfft pllp" Chrysalis spat her hair out of her mouth and tired to move her mane back the way it was.
She shook her head and sighed. "Never doing that again..." She groaned.
A sound from the bedroom startled the changeling and made her jump around to face the door. Her horn glowed brightly and seemed seemed to attract fluff bunny's from in the other room. Chrysalis looked at these fluffy clouds and sighed shaking her head. "Fluffle Puff..."
Chrysalis stepped out of the bath room and looked around her bedroom for the fluffy pony only to be met with the same messy room she had been sleeping in before. Chrysalis scanned the room looking around for the largest congregation of fluff. However instead of finding Fluffle, she found a fluff trail she could follow. Chrysalis bent down and looked at the ball of fluff and looked at where it went. The pink cloud trail on the floor went all over the room, clinging to walls and ceilings, it lead around the bed and out the bedroom door onto the stair case. Chrysalis squinted and followed this breadcrumb trail like a detective minus the hat, pipe and glass. She followed the trail into the kitchen which went up the wall and along the ceiling. The changeling queen followed the trail up the wall and along the ceiling, her belly pressed against the top as if sliding as she searched; but alas gravity dragged Chrysalis back down. Before she fell she stopped and looked down at the floor below, she blinked twice then looked toward the reader and levitated a sign which read "How?" then fell to the floor with a thud.
"Oof..! Ouch..."
Chrysalis shook her head and could suddenly hear Fluffle Puff screaming and running around the living room downstairs. The changeling sighed and cartoonishly jumped down stairs and peeked around the corner to see Fluffle was now standing still with a crazed twitch in her eye, drinking a milk shake. Chrysalis stared too afraid to approach and slowly turned around without making a sound. She turned all away around to make her way back upstairs sneakingly when the floorboards creaked. Fluffle Looked over at the staircase and screamed her loudest. Chrysalis braced herself for whatever was about to follow, but after five minutes nothing even happened. Chrysalis opened one eye and looked behind her slowly before suddenly being pummeled into the ground by a terrified yet cheerful looking Fluffle Puff with a pillow.
"Ow! ow! F-fluffle! oof!"
Fluffle continued to slam the pillow onto Chrysalis over and over again.
"FLUFFLE PUFF!!"
Fluffle froze and poked her tongue out. She looked down at Chrysalis who stood up and was panting in rage. Fluffle smiled at the changeling.
"Why did you hit me with a pillow?" Chrysalis's eye twitched.
Fluffle Puff dropped the pillow and squeed. She then began to explain her reason in the best way she could, through her raspberry's and gasps. Chrysalis was absolutely livid by this point.
"Night terror? You hit me with a pillow because you thought I was a night terror??!!"
Fluffle Puff thought for a moment then nodded really fast. Queen Chrysalis sighed and calmed down.
"Well I am rather terrifying..." She pouted and looked at the fluffy pony and shook her head. "... There's no such thing as Night Terrors! They are only a figment of your disturbingly creative imagination."
"Pllplp"
"Twilight?"
Fluffle Nodded. Her eyebrows furrowed and her lips in a frown.
"Wha... T-Twilight's just filling your head with nonsense." Chrysalis frowned.
Fluffle turned away from Chrysalis and was unhappy.
"Fluffle Puff... please don't be like that.."
Fluffle Puff was silent, her eyes closed and her nose in the air. She stayed this way until she felt Something in her fur. Fluffle turned around to see Chrysalis sinking into the fluff then look at the fluffy pony with playful intent. Fluffle smiled and started running around with Chrysalis in side her fluff. Chrysalis giggled with Fluffle carrying her around for an hour. Later at night Fluffle and Twilight sat in the kitchen and waited. Chrysalis decided to join them this time just to prove that there are no night terrors. They have been waiting for three hours and were all sleepy. Twilight yawned, Fluffle Puff opened and closed her eyes tiredly and Chrysalis was fast asleep and snowing with her tail on her face. While she snored her tail moved back and forth. The three of them suddenly became alerted to the sound of creaking from upstairs, and the thump of footsteps from the stairs. The three of them got behind the table barricade they made and peeked over it to see a large winged shadow making its way down the stairs. The three pony's eyes widened. Twilight shook, Chrysalis sweat and Fluffle Puff chewed on Chrysalis's hooves. Chrysalis looked at Fluffle and pulled her hoof away and grunted at the fluffy pony making Fluffle sink down behind the table while the beast approached. It flapped its wings upon entering the room and sniffed. It licked its chops and went over to the refrigerator. Fluffle Puff saw its shadow and jumped up onto the ceiling with an eep. The terror was human in shape, with a large growth on its back and feathery wings. It was silhouetted in the darkness and had long arms and legs, and a massive frill in a mo-hawk shape on its head. Twilight was sweating buckets and shaking, watching it slither to fridge. Chrysalis looked at Twilight with scorn, unhappy that she was right. The night terror opened the fridge and sniffed around. The refrigerator light was broken and couldn't light up the room to expose the monster. It sniffed out a wrapped block of chocolate.
"Chocolate" It said in a deep greedy voice.
"Noo!!!"
The monster turned it's head right and was met with Chrysalis's back right hoof to its face.
"My chocolate!!" Chrysalis glared.
The force of the kick sent the night terror spiraling into the oven, a hoot of an owl followed the collision as well as the pained groans of Spike. Fluffle Puff scurried along the ceiling toward the light switch then down the wall to turn it on. But Fluffle Puff missed the light and stood on the floor. She lifted her front left hoof and petted the light switch before finally tuning it on. The lights came on and she gasped happily. Twilight and Chrysalis went over to the 'night terror' and were shocked to see it was Spike and Owlowiscious. Spike was on stilts and Owlowiscious was on the floor beside the sitting dragon.
"Spike?" Twilight said unhappily.
Spike sighed. "Sorry Twilight..."
"What were you and Owlowiscious thinking?!"
Spike took off the stilts and sighed. "Chrysalis has all that chocolate and I really really wanted some... Fluffle Puff helped steal it while I scared everypony away."
"Plp" Fluffle Puff slid beside Spike and Owlowiscious joining the guilty crowd.
Chrysalis was fuming. "You dressed up as a monster just to scare us while Fluffle Puff got my chocolate, MY CHOCOLATE??!!" Chrysalis's head grew three sizes and her mouth got wider then ever, her mouth in an angry toothy grin.
"And we would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling mares and your fully pony whaaaah..?"
Twilight and Chrysalis saw to their shock, as well as Spike's and Owlowiscious shock, there were two Fluffle Puff's. The two Fluffle puffs stared at each other for a while, both of them opening and closing their mouths.
"Wait... how are there two of you?"
Fluffle Puff looked at Chrysalis and shrugged. The one beside Spike and Owlowiscious cleared her throat then removed some fluff on her forehead revealing a zipper. Everypony was confused and speechless. The fake Fluffle Puff grabbed the zipper and pulled it, opening the costume revealing a gorilla. The gorilla roared and pounded on its chest while everypony screamed in terror. The gorilla shocked Chrysalis and made her faint. Upon closing her eyes Chrysalis re-awoke in her bed in the early morning and sat up. She looked around her room for anything out of place then sighed, falling back into it after.
"Just a dream...?"
Fluffle Puff came up to the bed, walked up the side of it and vanished under the blankets. Chrysalis continued to lay there oblivious and sighed. She felt her pillow get pulled out form under her and looked to see Fluffle Puff replaced herself with the pillow. Chrysalis smiled went back to sleep while Fluffle Puff looked blank.
Fluffle Puff jumped over a hill and flapped her front legs like a bird. She was smiling happily at first but when her arms stopped moving, her smile became an open mouthed frown and she fell out of the air and into a patch of long grass and vanished. On her back and trying to get back up like an overturned turtle, she moved her legs like she was walking getting no where for a moment but suddenly started to move. She smiled happily as she started to move, unbeknownst to her, three fillies were pushing her along. The cutie mark crusaders groaned and grunted as they moved the fluffy pony. Fluffle stopped moving and pulled her head inside her fluff and poked it out in front of Sweetie Belle on the other side. The panting filly's looked up to see Fluffle's face causing Sweetie Belle to squeal and roll backwards into a mud puddle. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo laughed.
"She got ya good Sweetie Belle."
"Did you see the way she rolled back, and that squeal?"
"Haha very funny girls."
Sweetie belle shook herself off and walked up to them. "Huh..?"
Scootaloo lifted an eyebrow. "What? What's wrong now?"
"Fluffle's gone.."
"What the?!" Apple Bloom looked around. "It took us a good half hour to find her, now she's gone off and dun a runna on us."
"Look!" Scootaloo pointed to some grass stalks being pushed aside by movement and leaving a cartoonish maze trail.
"There she goes after her!" Shouted Sweetie Belle.
Fluffle Puff screamed and started running with the filly's following her fast. Fluffle Puff followed a trail of dots and fruit while the filly's looked for her in what resembled a game of pac-man. Fluffle Puff followed this trail opening and closing her mouth to eat the dots. The filly's ran into the same lane as Fluffle and watched her chomp her way down the grassy road. Apple Jack and Sweetie Belle looked at each other then at Scootaloo who shrugged.
"Waka Waka" She said then all three filly's resumed their chase after the pink fluffed pony.
Fluffle Puff was like a cat, running around, dodging the filly's at every turn. She ran around a boulder in a continuous circle and in an effort to catch her, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom joined in this running. Fluffle Puff Looked behind her and caught sight of the fillys. She gasped and darted out of the running, then turned around to watch the filly's continue the marathon. The pink fluffy pony put on a smug smile and waited for them to realize that she was no longer running. The filly's stopped and looked at Fluffle Puff. She poked out her tongue twice then jumped up.
"Meep meep!" And with that Fluffle Puff fled deeper into the tall long grass.
Apple Bloom sighed and had a bemused look. "Ah don't even wanna know where this adventure is headin, but ah won't be laughin."
Scootaloo flutter up onto the top of the rock and was shocked, her pupils shrunk and her jaw dropped at how massive the grass was. She could see Sweet Apple Acres in the distance as well as Fluffle Puff who was extremely far away. The fluffy pony was sucking apple juice through a straw and waved to Scootaloo with a big smile and wide eyes before disappearing back into the grass forest. Scootaloo growled and jumped off the rock and landed between Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle.
"Your family really should mow this grass."
"Ah know..."
"I found where Fluffle Puff is though. She's heading toward the barn house."
"If we catch up to her we may be able to heard her toward Chrysalis!"
"Do ya'll think she's a sheep?"
"Baaa!" Fluffle puff made in the distance.
The filly's sighed. And ran off in Fluffle Puff's direction. The filly's followed the trail left by Fluffle Puff when Scootaloo suddenly came to a stop, bringing Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom to stop at the same time. the filly's looked at Scootaloo unhappily while the Pegasus stared at a frog Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle groand and nudged Scootaloo and turn to looks at them.
"What?"
"You know very well what! Ms. Chrysalis is relyin on us to get Fluffle Puff!"
Scootaloo face hoofed. "Doh!"
Scootaloo put the Frog in the grass and continued along Fluffles path. The fluffy pony watched them run off down the path, she was still sucking on some apple juice through a straw. She stared at them then turned around and proceeded to walk in a straight line, coming out of the long grass with a grass sword and armor which came off after she exited the field. Fluffle Puff walked to the library and went inside and finished her juice box with loud suction sounds. She looked at the box with furrowed eyebrows and a frown then tossed it away. She looked at Chrysalis who was laying on the sofa reading a magazine waiting for the filly's to come back with Fluffle. Fluffle Puff smiled and walked over to Chrysalis. She gasped and jumped on the changeling, surprising Chrysalis and making her giggle.
Derpy wandered into Sugar Cube Corner that early Equestria morning. She browsed the various muffins available until she spotted the lemon surprise, her favorite. Derpy looked up at Mr. Cake and pointed to the treat locked inside a glass case, waiting to be gobbled down by a hungry pegasus. Derpy paid 10 bits for it to Mr Cake and he took the muffin out and put it in a bag for Derpy to take. Derpy took the muffin and walked over to a table to sit, passing Fluffle Puff on the way, the pink fluffy pony was carrying a brown paper bag with Sugar Cube Corner on it Derpy at the table and put the bag on the top then opened the bag and looked inside to discover that much to her horror, her muffin was gone and replaced with an apple crumpet. Derpy frowned saddened and looked over at the line, hoping it wasn't too long so she could get another. She saw the line was a little shorter but she also noticed the pink fluffy pony was gone too, then she remembered that Fluffle Puff had a bag with her identical to the bag Derpy's muffin was in. Derpy looked around for Fluffle Puff, catching sight of her leaving the store quickly. Derpy squinted and followed Fluffle Puff. Fluffle Puff looked around as she walked, carrying the bag in her mouth. Twilight was standing by a building and motioned to Fluffle Puff who seemed to ignore her. Twilight watched the fluffy pony, waiting for her to walk over but Fluffle Puff just seemed to look around lost. Twilight let out a sigh, she approached Fluffle Puff and tapped her where her shoulder would be. But then she did, Fluffle let out a gasp and jumped backwards into Twilight. The alicorn fell to the ground with Fluffle who now ran around happily.
"Fluffle."
Fluffle Puff stopped and stared into space with her tongue poking out. "Pllp..."
Derpy watched them. "What are they doing?" She tilted her head.
Fluffle Puff absorbed the package into her fluff which was then dispensed out of the right side of her fluffy body and between Twilight's wings where they are supported. She looks around then climbs into Fluffle Puffs fur and sinks down like a submarine. Derpy watched them go and came out of her hiding place, frowned and sighed.
"Where are they taking my muffin?" She flattened her ears on her head.
"I can't tell you but I know what they want with it."
Derpy jumped at the sound of Chrysalis's voice and flew up into a cloud and shivered. Chrysalis looked up at the cloud and continued staring until Derpy poked her head out. Chrysalis waited for her to come down for about three minutes and still Derpy and the changeling queen had a stare off.
"Are you done?"
"Just about..." Derpy started sliding out of the cloud then fell to earth with a thud.
Chrysalis looked down at the wall eyed pegasus then felt something nestle itself in her mane. Chrysalis looked up with her eyes to see Fluffle Puff was sitting there upon her brow, blank stare and her tongue poking out. Chrysalis sighed then looked back at Derpy.
"Pllp, pllp plp plllllp" Fluffle Puff said.
"Derpy is needed now?"
Derpy looked confused. Fluffle Nodded, looking down at Chrysalis with a smile.
"Okay then, you know what to do."
Fluffle Puff saluted then jumped off of Chrysalis turned on her back in mid air then back flopped onto Derpy, absorbing her into the fluffle forest that was Fluffle's fluff. Derpy looked around scared of what was happening. Fluffle Puff and Chrysalis walked around Ponyville with Derpy peeping through the thin reed like hairs that made up a sheep like wool which was fluff on the fluffy pony's body. Chrysalis would occasionally say something to her fluffy friend speaking almost in riddles and mentioning other ponies. Derpy tried to listen but Fluffle Puff's coat made every muffled from the outside. Finally, after twelve minutes of walking, the pet and the changeling stopped inside Applejack's barn house, where Fluffle Puff sat down.
"Plllllp!" She said. She got up and walked after that, Derpy sliding out of the fur upside down in the process.
Derpy fell on her back and rocked back and forth like a flat object would after rolling around for a moment then stopping. Derpy stared up at the ceiling for a moment then blinked a few times. She slowly stood up and looked around in the dark room. Chrysalis and Fluffle Puff had vanished and in the shadows Derpy could hear movement, and smell a tasty treat.
"I smell a muffin!" Derpy said making a neko smile.
Suddenly the barn windows opened which blinded Derpy for a moment. She closed her eyes tightly because of the brightness, but what she saw when she reopened them surprised the gray pegasus. All of her friends were there, The mane six, the C.M.C, Dinky Doo and Time Turner, Bon Bon, Lyra, Cherry Berry, Carrot Top, Roseluck, Spike, the Cakes and others.
"Happy birthday Derpy!!" They all called out.
Fluffle Puff scurried along the ceiling before stopping mid-walk and fell face first to the floor. Derpy was happy to see everypony but when she saw her muffin wrapped in a clear wrap with a bow, it filled her with such cheerful glee. Derpy ran over to the muffin and jumped on it. and the table. The party guests moved out of Derpy's way knowing not to stand between a mail-mare and her muffin. Fluffle Puff walked up Derpy's leg and sat between her wings and looked at her. Derpy looked back at the poofy pony who happily urged the wall eyed Pegasus to open and eat her muffin without interruption. Derpy smiled at Fluffle, took off the paper and took a bite which zinged with the tangy lemon that sends a surprising zap through her body. Derpy giggled in bliss at the zapping of the muffin which Fluffle Puff now wanted after seeing the pegasus eat it. The other ponies in attendance talked to each other, drank Pinkie punch pow, all the while Derpy and Dinky were playing in the ball pool. Fluffle Puff in the meantime stared at the now half eaten muffin and frowned sadly. She let out a deep depressed squeaky sigh and walked over to Twilight with her head down. Twilight was chatting with Applejack and Fluttershy when the fluffy pony came over. She looked up at Twilight and patted the alicorn on her back left leg hoping to get her attention. All the patting paid off in almost an instant when Twilight turned her head and looked down at Fluffle Puff.
"What's wrong Fluffle?"
The fluffy pony pointed at the muffin then to her mouth. and jumped up and down.
"You wan a lemon surprise muffin too?"
Fluffle Puff nodded happily. Twilight rolled her eyes and summoned a lemon surprise muffin which appeared in front of Fluffle. Fluffle Puff gasped and spazzed out on the floor in uncontrollable happiness, she picked up the muffin and walked over to Chrysalis with it. She offered to share with the changeling who looked down at the pony who stared back with extreme intensity. Both Changeling and pony were locked in furious staring combat until Chrysalis blinked. Fluffle Puff gasped and did a back flip, dropping her muffin in the process. the muffin fell to the floor and got dirty. Fluffle stared blankly at Chrysalis with her mouth wide open, distressed at the state of her muffin. Chrysalis looked at a box beside her and levitated another muffin out and levitated it in front of the now smiling happy Fluffle Puff.
The rooster crowed at Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack woke up bright and early during the wee hours of the morning to get to work. She yawned and stretched, hopping out of bed and heading down into the kitchen to get some grub. Big Macintosh, Apple Bloom and Granny Smith were gathered around the table and digging into their meals.
"Morning all." Applejack said as she passed them.
"Morning, Applejack!" The other three said together.
Applejack walked over to the bread bin and took out a loaf. She placed it on the cutting bored which rested on the table and cut two slices, put them in the toaster where she waited. Meanwhile, up in Applejack's bedroom, Fluffle Puff climbed in through her window, then up the wall until she was standing on the ceiling. The fluffy pony looked around on the floor for something soft, she spotted Applejack's bed and dropped. She missed her mark and crashed into a trunk that rested at the end of the sleeping space which made a loud sound of wood being broken and hard objects being smashed. Fluffle Puff had her eyes shut for the impact, but reopened them when she had landed. She wasn't hurt or fazed by it at all.
"Pllplp" She poked her tongue out and raspberried. She sucked her tongue back in and caught sight of Applejack's hat.
Fluffle Puff got up, all objects that clung to her fluff sank into the pink colored abyss as she imagined what it would be like to be Applejack for a day. She stared long and hard at the hat, drooling out of the corner of her mouth which she sucked back in when she made her approach. She smiled widely up at the hat and patted its rim with her hoof in admiration, her eyes sparkling brightly like stars at the very idea of being somepony else. She closed her mouth tightly when she heard Applejack coming up the stairs, talking out loud to herself about the noise. Fluffle Puff looked at the door then back at the hat with shrunken pupils and reached up to grab them when the orange earth pony entered. The door swung open and Applejack looked inside and around the room, her jaw dropped at the sight of her stuff all over the floor and her trunk destroyed.
"W-What the hay..?... What..?" Applejack walked into the room and looked at the broken toys and wood, then looked up at her bedside table, her ears dropping. "What?!"
The orange earth pony approached her bedside table, her left eye twitched and she was confusion.
"W-Who in their right mind would want to take my hat?"
The sound of stuff being knocked over outside drew A.J to the window. She looked outside and saw Fluffle Puff trying to lasso a trash can with a rope that wasn't tied to resemble a lasso. Applejack raised an eyebrow and headed down stairs and outside to see what the fluffy pony was up to. Fluffle Puff threw the rope at the bucket again only for it to fail once more. She had been growing quite annoyed by it and it started to show. She pulled the rope toward her and looked at it to see what she was doing wrong.
"And just what do you think you're doing?" Applejack said as she stood behind Fluffle Puff.
Fluffle Puff stood as still as a statue before dropping the rope and trying to run only to be stopped by Applejack's left hoof which she held out to her side, blocking the fluffy one who continued to run in place despite being stopped. Applejack rolled her eyes and pushed Fluffle Puff back in front of her, this time the fluffy pony stood still but had her tongue out again.
"Pllplp"
Applejack sighed. "Now what in all that's fluffy and cute are you doing Fluffle, does Chrysalis know you're here?"
Fluffle Puff licked at the air, ignoring the earth pony's question. Applejack watched Fluffle Puff in a bemused manner, than swiped the hat off of her. The pink fluffy pony reacted by freezing, slowly opening her mouth and staring with wide eyes up at Applejack as if begging to have the hat back. Applejack continued to give Fluffle a stern look even when her leg was being touched by the fluffy sheep like pony of cute. Applejack moved her leg away only for it to be petted again, this time she lifted it.
"Fluffle, what do ya want with my hat?"
"Pllpl, Pllp pllp" The fluffy pony only blew raspberries.
"You want to be me for a day so you can prank everyone into thinking I turned into you?"
Fluffle smiled and nodded. Applejack didn't look sure about it. Fluffle's eyes sparkled and her mouth gaped open, she tapped her hooves together hoping Applejack would say yes.
"Pllplp pllp plp!"
Applejack lifted an eyebrow. "You mean you want to buck apples with me whilst looking like me and confusing the girls when they come to visit?"
Fluffle nodded with a smile.
"Well I suppose I could help out! Sounds like a lot of fun."
Fluffle Puff gasped and did a back flip, splatting against the wall and becoming flat like a pancake. Applejack stood in surprise and watched Fluffle Puff peel off of the wall and float to the ground like a feather. When she face down on the ground she poofed back to normal and shook her head, smiled and looked up at Applejack who chuckled and put her hat on Fluffle Puff's head.
"Now if we're going to make this work we're going to have to change your appearance. Come inside little fluffy, I have an idea."
Applejack lead Fluffle Puff inside the barn and she followed quite happily behind the earth pony who shut the barn doors and prepared some things to help the pony out with her little fun.
"Now I don't know anythin about make overs or that stuff Rarity enjoys, but I'ma willin to try." Applejack picked up some orange hair spray and got to work on Fluffle Puff who screamed so loudly it shook the farm.
Two hours later Pinkie Pie came hopping up the path merrily to Sweet Apple Acres. She could see trees shaking in the north orchards from where she was looking and hopped her way over there to say hello to Applejack. Pinkie Pie hopped her way into the farm and turned toward the orchard. The sound of slamming and kicking was more audible now that she had gotten closer.
"Applejack! Hey! Hey Applejack!" Pinkie looked around for the orange earth pony when she saw a tree shake.
"Oh there there you are Applejack, I just came to ask if you-"
Vwomp A loud sound came from the shaking tree which brought Pinkie to a stop. Her tail started twitching and apples fell from the tree like rain. Pinkie ducked under a bush while the apples fell to the ground and in baskets. Pinkie poked her head out when the apples stopped falling and looked over to who she thought was Applejack.
"A-Applejack?" She looked confused.
"Plllp!" Fluffle Puff stumbled and twirled with spirals in her eyes. She sat down and shook her head which almost made her hat fall off.
Fluffle Puff's pink fluff was now orange, she had orange paper with three apples sticky taped to her flank, a blond wig and fake blond tail made of hair, sticky taped to her back and green eye contacts to get the full effect. She looked at Pinkie Pie, smiled and waved. Pinkie jumped up.
"Oh hey Applejack I didn't recognize you for a second there! Did you cut your mane?"
Fluffle Puff stared blankly at Pinkie whilst nomming on an apple she had picked up off the ground. Pinkie Pie watched Fluffle Puff eat the apple until she dropped it and started nodding in response to Pinkie's question.
"I knew it!" She giggled and snorted. "I came by to ask if I could have a basket of apples to take back to Sugar Cube Corner for a yummy apple and jelly cake!" the pink pony licked her lips in delight.
"Sure you can have a basket or two!" Said Applejack from behind a nearby tree, speaking for Fluffle Puff.
Fluffle Puff moved her lips to the sound of Applejack's voice so she didn't look suspicious. Pinkie Pie beamed and hugged the fluffy pony.
"Thank you Applejack!! I promise to give you three slices, my treat." Pinkie started hopping away. "I'll see you later!" She hopped toward the barn and was out of sight.
Applejack emerged from her hiding place and looked at Fluffle Puff who had her cheeks puffed and her eyes wider then a cat's in the dark.
"You okay Fluffle Puff? I think that went well, Pinkie didn't expect a thing." There was a short period of silence.
Three slices of apple jelly cake continued to plague Fluffle's mind, Pinkies words repeating over and over. It sent Fluffle completely silent and still, her coat soaked up lots and lots of air.
"Fluffle Puff, you alright?" Applejack nudged the fluffy pony who let out a massive gasp and back flipped with the force of a rainboom which sent her back flipping to Crystal Empire and back.
Ponies pointed in awe at the sight of the back flipping pink cloud they came to regard as beautiful. Fluffle Puff made the papers all over Equestria in a short span of fifteen minutes. The ball of fluff managed to get a hold of one of these newspapers, and was reading it as she spun around the spire in the center of the Crystal Empire, and continued to twirl and flip in the air back to her spot where she landed perfectly. Applejack was leaning against a tree by that point with some warm coffee beside her and a newspaper on her face when she heard Fluffle Puff land. The earth pony removed the paper and looked at Fluffle Puff, getting up and stretching when she did.
"You done?"
Fluffle Puff nodded and gave Applejack a smile. Applejack returned the smile and ruffled Fluffle puff's orange spray painted coat. The rest of the day was the same for those two, but for Chrysalis it was boring. She moped around the library in a dismal state of hunger, starved of love and the fun her fluffy partner provided. She sighed loudly many times just to annoy Twilight who was preoccupied with reading a book to be bothered by Chrysalis's attempts at attention.
"sigh!!" Chrysalis looked at Twilight, her head hanging over the arm of the sofa while she laid on her back.
Twilight closed her book without a word and let out a puff of air from her nostrils. The changeling's sighs had only now started becoming a distraction for the alicorn, who turned around and walked over to Chrysalis.
"You know, there are things you can do around here Chrysalis. Watching me study is not one of them."
"Meh, watching you study is fun, and fulfilling. I had no idea that I could feed off of the love of doing something you like. You love reading, I can eat that!"
"Lovely... And you only chose now to discover that?" Twilight sighed.
"Who knows, maybe when I feed off of Fluffle's love, I might also be feeding off of your love of books. There's really no difference in love if you really think about it."
Twilight returned to her book. "You know, you could always look for Fluffle Puff."
Chrysalis and Twilight were silent for a moment until the changeling sat up and cracked her back. She hopped off the sofa and approached the library's exit.
"I guess so. I'll be back soon!" Chrysalis opened the library door and closed it behind her.
Twilight sighed and stood still staring at her book for a moment before closing it, putting it aside and grabbing a book on emotions, turning to a page about love where she started reading.
"'really no difference in love' my hoof, of course there's-" Twilight stopped at the sixteenth line on the page, eyes wide in surprise, her right eye twitching. "I call pony feathers on that!!"
While Twilight raged to herself in the library, Chrysalis took a stroll through Ponyville singing to herself in her mind.
"Takin a stroll through Ponyville. lookin at the ponies and suckin their love."
She started humming to herself afterwards, and despite feeding off of love like getting a meal through a drive through from the citizens, she continued to feel starved and sighed.
"Without that fuzzball around I feel hungrier then usual." She stood in the middle of the town square close to the Celestia statue which she looked up at and started thinking.
"Didn't she mention where she was going..? Hmm..." The changeling looked over to a group of three ponies, a unicorn, a pegasus, and an earth pony, all three of which made her feel drawn and attached to them.
She shook her head and walked over to Boutique where she started remembering Fluffle Puff had drawn three apples on some paper and was coloring the whole sheet orange while the apples red. She stopped walking and looked in the direction of Sweet Apple Acres unamused.
"I wouldn't be surprised if I was right about that." Chrysalis looked over to Time Turner and whistled a very specific tune to call him over. He looked over at her and walked over to her.
"Good day Ms. Chrysalis, how might I be of assistance?"
"Have you seen my ball of walking lint around? She's pink, a bit hyperactive, acts like a kitty, pretty much a bottomless pit of love and affection."
Time Turner nodded. "I've seen her, Fluffle Puff right? Yes she was heading toward the Apple's farm."
Chrysalis laughed. "Oh, I love it when I'm right. Thank you Time Turner."
Time Turner smiled. "You're welcome Ms. Chrysalis."
Chrysalis walked away from the town square, and was on her way to Sweet Apple Acres. The earth pony, pegasus and unicorn watched Chrysalis and seemed to stare at her. They looked at one another and followed from within the bushes, hiding out of sight. Chrysalis walked the whole way to the farm and looked around to see where Applejack was.
"Applejack!" Chrysalis called out, looking around for the earth pony who seemed to have vanished.
Fluffle Puff was hiding in the barn with her mouth shut tight and her pupils shrunk. Applejack was trying to urge the pink fluffy pony to go along with the joke, but she refused.
"C'mon Fluffle, imagine how surprised she'll be."
Fluffle Puff shook her head, seeing only Chrysalis being angry at her for impersonating a pony. Applejack lifted an eyebrow and looked out around the corner of the barn entrance to see Chrysalis coming over. The earth pony looked at Fluffle then at Chrysalis then back to Fluffle again and realized why Chrysalis would be mad. She took her hat back and stepped outside.
"Howdy Chrysalis." She leaned against the door frame.
"Um... Hey... Have you seen Fluffle Puff around?"
"Nope, can't say that I have." Applejack said with a nervous smile, sweat on her brow.
Chrysalis noticed the sweat and opened her mouth to question it when she heard the pink fuzzball's sudden gasp. A butterfly flew out of the barn and was chased by Fluffle Puff who happily tried to grab it and fly like it, jumping and falling flat on the ground face first. Chrysalis chuckled to herself which alerted Fluffle Puff to her presence. Fluffle looked up to Chrysalis and Applejack on her right and gave a nervous smile.
"Found you." Chrysalis smiled smugly but her smile was short lived as she was suddenly glomped on shortly after.
Fluffle Puff absorbed Chrysalis into her coat and stood up and looked around in confusion. Applejack laughed at the Fluffy Pony's attempt at being a funny one and bit her lip when Chrysalis's head popped out of Fluffle's back, she had a pink afro on her head which clashed with her dark cerulean mane. She shook her head and the fluff vanished into the air only to be sucked back into Fluffle's fluff from which Chrysalis emerged from and stood near Applejack. The earth pony was laughing at how absurd this all was and shook her head.
"You two are more random together then a case of poison joke."
Both Fluffle and Chryssi looked at Applejack then at each other and started building up to a laugh. Fluffle only stared at Chrysalis while she did most of the laughing.
"I guess we are kind of like that. Only difference is I make it look better."
Fluffle Puff furrowed her eye brows and puffed up her cheeks. She smacked Chrysalis's leg and the changeling retaliated by nudging the earth pony who simply rolled away like a beach ball. Chrysalis smiled and let out a soft chuckle and stood in a triumphant stance only to to be knocked over and carried off by Fluffle Puff who had launched herself at her changeling partner as fast as she needed. In some bushes nearby, the three pony were hiding. They glared toward Fluffle Puff but looked lovingly at Chrysalis.
Chrysalis got back up and giggled, she ruffled the fluffy pony's head, getting orange paint on her hoof which she was not too happy about. Chrysalis looked at Fluffle and sighed. The fluffy pony suddenly hugged the changeling getting more orange stuff on her. Chryssi smiled and returned Fluffle's hug, only to be flipped afterwards when the pony did a back flip gasping as she did. Sometime after that, Applejack and Fluffle Puff bucked trees together in the east orchard field, Chrysalis tagged along and bucked apples with the other two. Fluffle Puff's bucking always ended with her falling on her face which was amusing to both changeling and earth pony, they would laugh with Fluffle Puff as she hit the ground.
Chrysalis happily helped the fluffy pony off of the ground and patted her on the head. Fluffle purred and made a kitty face while Applejack watched. Fluffle went back to work once Chrysalis stopped patting her. The pink little pony looked at her small legs under her fluff, then at Applejack and Chrysalis who were bucking the proper way. She puffed up her cheeks, took a few steps back and charged at the tree and slammed into it head first which shook the tree violently until it was dropping apples all over the ground. Applejack looked at the apples falling out of Fluffle's tree which were falling into her tree and Chrysalis's tree, causing the apples to fall on the earth pony and changeling. The red shiny fruits fell on their heads,forcing them to duck down while the juicy red fruits fell around them like rain. Many apples got stuck on Chrysalis's horn while others just bonked down on Applejack's head. Fluffle Puff remained unharmed, as the apples only sank into her fluff like void, coming out from her underbelly.
Applejack and Chrysalis looked up at Fluffle Puff and laughed loudly while the fuzzball looked on in confusion. The pegasus, unicorn and earth pony who hid away, were in a pile atop one another in a daze underneath a pile of apples that fell on them during the apple rain caused by Fluffle Puff. The three ponies suddenly changed in a green flash into three changelings who soon snapped out of their dizzy state. and glared in the direction of Fluffle Puff, thinking of how they were going to set their plan in motion.
