Twilight sighed. Looking out into the distance from her new home, she thought how much being a princess has changed her life as a whole. More responsibility, less time with her friends and Princess Celestia, which bothers her. She really wanted to see her friends, but being a princess meant a lot of important business. But whenever she found herself thinking about her friends, she started to think about one pony in particular with a multi colored mane and cyan coat. She didn't know why, but Rainbow Dash was on her mind a lot. Twilight knew there was something about that pony she couldn't resist thinking about, but it confused her as to why.
Whenever she found herself thinking about her, it always made her heart beat faster and heat rush to her face and she didn't understand it.

"Maybe there's a book I could read to figure this out. Or maybe I could go talk to someone."

It had been a while since she last went to Ponyville.

"I think I'll go into town and talk to Rarity".

She often talked to Rarity when she had a problem, which Rarity was usually able to help.

"Spiiiiiiiiike! I'm going to Ponyville. Would you watch the castle for me?"

Spike walked into the room and looked as though he had just woken from a nap. Or had been woken up.

"A dragon watching over a castle to keep people out? How cliché Twilight." She was about to say something when Spike stopped her. "Just kidding Twilight. Only a joke" Spike loved how easy it was to mess with Twilight.

"Well I'll be back late Spike. Maybe I'll brink back some gems for you, for all the hard work you've done lately" Spike perked up at this.

"Seriously?! That would be bad aaaaaa- I mean awesome" Twilight just giggled at him.
As Twilight walked into Ponyville, she was greeted by most of the town.

"Hello your majesty" they would say as they bowed. This made Twilight uncomfortable, but nonetheless, she grit her teeth and bared it. She then spotted Carousel Boutique which she trotted over to gleefully. She opened the door which cause a bell to ring.

"Hello?" Rarity heard Twilight and beamed. "Hello Rarity!" Rarity then came up to the front of the store.

"Why hello darling! It's been a while!"

"I know it has. And there's so much we need to catch up on!"

They talked for what seemed like hours, till Twilight remembered why she came by in the first place.

"Oh by the way rarity. There's something I wanted to ask you about" Twilight said.

"What is it dear?" Rarity asked.

"I find myself thinking about Rainbow a lot lately. And my heart starts beating fast. Is there anything you can think of that would cause this?"

Rarity looked at Twilight and got wide eyed.

"Do you ever feel nervous or blush when you think about her?"

Twilight looked confused as to why asked but simply replied to the question

"Yes. Why? Is there something wrong with me?" Twilight got worried about that idea.

"Why no darling. I do believe you're in love with Rainbow Dash!" Rarity started giggling like a school filly.

"WHAT?!"

Rarity flinched at how loud Twilight's voice was which caused Twilight to cover her mouth in response.

"Sorry. But how could that be possible?!"

"Oh please Twilight. I've been in love a few times. I think I know love when I see it."

Twilight began to panic.

"Ohhhh what should I do???"

"Oh... have an idea"

Rarity had the biggest smile a pony could have. "I'm going to set you up on a date with Rainbow Dash."

"Wait what?!"

Twilight became flustered at the idea. "I'm not even sure I like mares!"

"Oh but you do like Rainbow Dash, Twilight. That much is certain. And the fact that she is a mare shouldn't invalidate the possibility of going out with her."

"I know that."

Twilight was above things like gender discrimination when it came to dating. She knew she was bi-curious, but was unsure of whether or not she was sexually attracted to mares. But now that she thought about it, Rainbow Dash did have a nicely toned but still feminine body. And holy buck that flank of hers. Twilight found herself drooling slightly but regained control of her thoughts. "So how do we do this?" Twi questioned.

"You just leave that up to me darling."

Rarity beamed. Twilight though that maybe she was getting in over her head, but what the hay right? You never know what might happen. So began the plot to get Twi a date with Rainbow Dash.

Meanwhile, on a random cloud, a certain cyan Pegasus was thinking about Twilight. She has had a crush on Twi from the moment they met. Even though She got Twilight wet. Which she totally didn't mind because it was hot as buck and got her thinking sexy thoughts.

"And holy buck those wings. I could preen those all damn day"

She started drooling at the thought. Then she got startled out of her sexy times by Rarity yelling at her.
"Ohhhhhhhhh Rainbow Daaaaaaaaaaash"

"What is it marshmallow?"

Rarity hated that name. Deeply. But she was here for Twilight.

"Oh umm yes... I brought Twilight with me and she wants to ask you something important". Twilight panicked.

"This was your big idea?!" She whispered to Rarity. Rarity just grinned.

"Yup" was all she said and took off, leaving Twilight alone.

"Dammit Rarity, I'll get you for this."

"Sooooo, what did you want to ask me? Come to get my autograph?" Twilight deadpanned.

"Actually..."

Rainbow raised an eyebrow.

"I uhm.. I-I w-was wondering I-if..."

"Oh come on egghead! Spit it out already!"

Rainbow was not the most patient pony. Actually, She had no patience whatsoever.

"You sound like Fluttershy."

"Wouldyouliketogoonadatewithme"

"Wait, what? I didn't catch a word of that. Speak slowly and clearly this time Twi."

Twilight inhaled and exhaled before trying again with a massive blush on her face.

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" Rainbow looked shocked.

"Uhm... Say that one more time." Twilight looked Rainbow dead in the face this time.

"Would you, Rainbow Dash, like to go on a date with me this weekend?"

Rainbow felt like someone asked her to be captain of the Wonderbolts. She flew down to Twilight and nearly tackled her.

"Uhm... BUCK YES!"

This had to be the best day of her life. She was going to go out with the mare of her dreams. No celestia damn way she was turning down this opportunity.

"Okay! See you Saturday? 7PM?"

"Sounds good Twi!" Now she had to go celebrate such a bad ass moment. She got to go out with Twilight!

"Today was a good day"

And then rainbow sped off to go brag.

3 days later: Rainbow Dash's house

"Ohbuckohbuckohbuck!" Rainbow dash pacing back and forth, tries to calm herself down. And not doing a very good job at that. "Calm down Rainbow Dash. It's just a date. A date with the mare of your dreams." Shit. That isn't helping at all. "Just take deep breaths. You're acting like Twilight. You're way too awesome to panic over something like this." At least she is trying to convince herself that this is the truth. "If I don't keep myself 20% cooler, she'll think I'm totally lame, and I want her to think I'm cool. Just take deep breaths. In and out. In and out. In and out. Rainbow, now calm and collected, put on her usual half smile that says "Aww yeah, totally awesome." "Now it's time to go meet Twi. I just hope she didn't chicken out or anything."

Meanwhile, back at Twilight's castle...

"Spiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike!" Twilight's voice practically shook the castle, causing Spike to nearly jump out of his scales, seeing as how he is in the next room.

"Yes Twilight?"

"I need your help! Rainbow will be here any minute, and I have no idea what to use as a topic for a conversation!"

"That's what you're worried about?" Spike deadpanned.

"Well duh! I don't want her to think I'm boring! What if she decides that doesn't want to go out with me anymore?!" Twilight was having a panic attack and started hyperventilating by this point.

"Holy Celestia. Calm down Twilight! If that were the case, Rainbow wouldn't even have considered going out with you. Much less with the
amount of enthusiasm you said she showed. Everything will be fine Twilight."

"You're right Spike." Twilight started her breathing exercises that Cadence taught her. "In and out. In and out. In and out." Now with renewed confidence, Twilight is determined to have a good time with Rainbow Dash. "I'll be off now Spike. See you later tonight."

"Have fun Twilight!" Spike waved as she walked out the door. After Twilight left, Spike didn't really know what to do. He usually spends time with Twilight, cleaning, or lounging about. But he knew she would be gone for a few hours... He then went to his room. "It's been a long time since I was able to be alone long enough to sift through my porn." Spike knows what he's doing for the rest of the night.

Rainbow Dash bolted out the door of her home in Cloudsdale, excited to meet up with Twilight. She had spent extra time messing with her hair so it looked extra awesome for tonight. After all, she wanted to impress the egghead. As she flew down from Cloudsdale to Ponyville, she did a few loops and took off to go to their meeting place at the water fountain the center of town. Dash hadn't felt this nervous since trying to preform the sonic rainboom in front of other ponies. "You've got this. You're the Rainbow Dash!" Seeing Ponyville in sight, Rainbow Dash began her descent. Aiming for the fountain in the town's center, she noticed Twilight sitting down, looking around nervously and with great impatience. Rainbow flew full speed, only slowing down when she got 50 feet away from the ground, skidding to a halt when she landed. "Hey Twilight! Over here!" Waving at Twilight now trying to get her attention, which took little effort.

"Hey Rainbow!" Nervousness obvious in her voice.

"Did you wait long? I hope you didn't. I took a bit longer to get ready that I planned to."

"Not at all actually. I've been here a few minutes."

"Oh ok. That's cool." Rainbow had never had problems talking to Twilight before. So why now? After taking time to observe Twilight, Rainbow noticed her coat looked shinier. Holy fucking celestia she looked hot. This made Rainbow blush slightly and hoped her wings weren't sticking up. When she looked to her sides, she noticed they were still in place at her sides. Thank Celestia. She did not want to explain that to Twilight. "So uhm... are you ready Twi?"

"Oh er yes! Yes! Uhm yeah let's go." Their first stop was Sugarcube Corner. Which meant inevitably seeing Pinkie Pie.

They walked inside and a bell was heard. As they approached the counter, they saw a pink blur that upon looking closer, turned out to be the hyperactive pink mare who sported her usual grin of pure joy.

"Well howdy doody Dashie and Twi Twi! What brings you here to see little old me?" Pinkie's grin grew bigger, as impossible as it seemed. She could rival the Cheshire cat in that respect.

"Hello Pinkie Pie" Rainbow Dash tried to manage a poker face as best she could. "I'm just..."

"On a date with Twilight?" Pinkie kept that grin as wide as possible for some pony that defied logic.

"How did you...?"

"Just a hunch!" That grin got bigger. How the fuck was that even possible? Never mind. We're talking about Pinkie Pie here.

"You're correct" Twilight stated. She was nervous as to how she would react to this now.

"Well then..." Pinkie became serious for a moment. "This calls for a party!!! It'll be a Twi and Dashie finally decided to go out party!" Aaaaand serious moment is over.

"You're not grossed out by two mares dating?" Rainbow had always been laughed at for being gay, so she came to expect it.

"Of course not you silly filly! Why would love bother me? Love is like being friends except you kiss and you cuddle and hold hooves! Oh and do kinky, naughty stuff too!" This made Twilight and Rainbow blush a bright crimson.

"So anyway, we'd like to get a few cupcakes." Twilight desperately wanted change the subject.

"Okie dokie lokie!" What kind? Oh oh oh!!! I made some new ones that are fresh from the oven!"

"Cool!" Rainbow Dash loves fresh cupcakes. They're the greatest thing ever besides naps and Twilight's flank. "Where are they?"

"Right here!" Pinkie Pie pointed to them.

"Uhm... Pinkie?"

"Yes Dashie?"

"Why do they look like Twi and I?" Sure enough, they were in the shape of each other. Like anatomically correct perfect.

"It seemed like fun when I thought of it and my pinkie sense told me that something interesting would happen!" Pinkie maintained that Cheshire cat grin the whole time.

Rainbow Dash opened her mouth to say something when she looked at the Twilight cupcake. And she started to drool. A lot. "Uhm... I think we'll take em." This earned her a nervous stare from Twilight. "Actually, we'll just have a half dozen of those blue ones with the cherries on top." Twilight sighed in relief. Rainbow got close to Pinki Pie so she knew Twilight couldn't hear her. "I'll come back for the other one."

"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie put the cupcakes in a box for the two mares and Rainbow payed for it since she wanted everything to be her treat.

Once they walked out and could finally relax, they decided to hit their next destination, which happened to be Sweet Apple Acres. They were going to pick up some of Applejack's hard cider.

"I'm actually kinda nervous about how A.J. will react to us going out." Rainbow Dash knew Applejack well. And she knew that A.J. and her family for the most part, were on the conservative side. Regardless of all the villains they faced together, she had never been so nervous as she had been now. Applejack was one of her best friends after all. As they approached the farm, they heard the familiar sound of Applejack slamming her hind legs into a tree. This was not uncommon as it was apple buck season and the Apples were quite busy during this time of the year. Twilight and Rainbow trotted up to Applejack and too a deep breath.
"Hey A.J.!" Rainbow called out to the orange coated earth pony.

"Well howdy Rainbow Dash, Twilight. What can ah do ya for?" Applejack always loved seeing her friends, even if it was apple buck season.

"We were wondering if we could get some of your hard cider." Rainbow really wants the cider. It's only second best to Twilight's flank. Which she can't seem to get out of her mind.

"Why sure ya can Dash. Y'all can find it in the cellar."

"Thanks A.J.!" They went to the cellar and found quite a few bottles. But they were only taking one because they didn't want to get trashed. After grabbing a bottle, they went back to talk to Applejack. "Hey, A.J., do you have a minute. We gotta tell you something.

"Well sure Dash. Is somethin' wrong?" Applejack was a bit concerned.

"No. Nothing's wrong. Just something important."

"Oh ok. Well ah'm all ears."

"Well... you see A.J." Applejack waited patiently but still concerned because the cyan pegasus was so nervous. "You see, the reason Twi and I came here is because we're going out on a date."

"Ah see." Rainbow was sweating bullets now. "Rainbow, y'all are my friend. I'm straight, and I don't really see how two mares could date each other, and I may not be too fond of it, but the way ah see it, y'all are my best friends. As long as y'all are happy, that's good enough fer me.

Rainbow Dash was slightly shocked, but happy that she didn't mind. "Thanks A.J., that means a lot."

"Not a problem Dash." They leaned in for a quick hug and then, with satisfaction, Twilight and Rainbow set off to leave the farm.

"See you later A.J.!" Applejack waved and started bucking apples again. Rainbow was as happy as she could be right now.

Twilight and Rainbow headed to the local park where they had planned a picnic with cupcakes and cider. Not the most nutritious meal out there, but hey, you only get one chance at life right? Might as well live it. Even if Twilight was immortal and all. They arrived at the park and put down a blanket out of their basket and spread it out on the ground. They put the basket down and Twilight, using her magic, took the contents out which included the bottle of cider, and vase with a flower. Rainbow didn't quite get why Twilight brought a flower but decided to not question it. Twilight then put down the box of cupcakes and sat down. Rainbow sat down next to her and opened the box and got a cupcake for Twilight and herself.

"Thanks Rainbow." Twilight smiled and lifted her cupcake to her mouth and took a bite. As she did this, Rainbow Dash looked at her, noticing the frosting on her lips and starting thinking how nice it would be to lick it off. Twilight looked at her and tilted her head. "Is something wrong?"

Rainbow shook her head. "N-nope. Nothing at all!" She started sweating a bit and hoped she didn't ask why she was staring. Twilight simply started eating at her cupcake again. Rainbow couldn't help it that Twilight was so damn hot. Seriously. And her flank! No. She had to stop, otherwise she would get a wingboner. "So Twi, how about we open that bottle of cider?" To be honest, Rainbow was eager to have some of the apples' famous cider. It was the best in Ponyville. Nononono. It was the best in all of Equestria!

"Sure. Why not?" Twilight giggled a little. She knew how much Rainbow Dash loved apple cider. She opened the bottle and poured a glass for both her and Rainbow in the glasses she had in the basket. Twilight lifted the glass to her lips and drank some of it. Rainbow found herself a bit preoccupied watching some of the cider falling down her lip on to her chin and found herself blushing a bit so she picked up her glass and drank some of hers to take her mind off that distracting scene. Perhaps it will dissipate some of the awkwardness she was feeling. It was just as she remembered it. The flavor, the aroma, the texture. It made her shudder a little at how good it was. Rainbow wondered if she was a cider addict, but quickly pushed it out of her mind.

12 cupcakes and a bottle of cider later, Rainbow and Twilight were full and content and simply gazed up at the stars. Twilight told Rainbow about the various constellations in the night sky. Rainbow didn't care much for constellations, but she loved how eager Twilight was to teach the cyan pegasus about them. She loved the egghead for stuff like this. It was adorable. Honestly, Rainbow Dash was content with watching Twilight like this. It was one of the things that made her who she was. "Twilight?" Rainbow called affectionately.

"Yes?" Twilight loved the way Rainbow called her name. Her voice made her shudder a bit. Something about it just... No one else could make her feel that way. No one. Rainbow seemed to stare into Twilight's eyes as she drifted off before she finally spoke.

"I'm glad you asked me out yesterday. I was really surprised." Rainbow stared into Twilight's eyes and felt paralyzed by how beautiful they were. In Rainbow's eyes, no one could match Twilight in terms of beauty. But it wasn't just her appearance, it was the way she laughed that made Rainbow's heart skip a beat, it was her passion for the things she enjoyed that she admired, the way Twilight put all her effort into something that made Rainbow try harder in everything she did. Rainbow loved Twilight, that much she couldn't ignore.

"So am I." Twilight blushed and looked back into Rainbow's eyes. Twilight felt at a loss for words but didn't care much. Just being here in this moment was the greatest moment of her life. After a few minutes passed she realized she had been staring and turned away; blushing furiously, she tried to come up with an excuse but only came up with random noises and groans. Rainbow started laughing with made Twilight pout cutely. Then again, Rainbow found Twilight cute no matter what so... whatever.
"Hey Twi?" Rainbow called out the purple alicorn.

"Y-yes?" Twilight asked nervously.

"Why are you so damn beautiful?" Rainbow asked the now crimson mare. Twilight was caught between nervousness and elation at being called such a word. However there was no way. There was no way she could possibly be... beautiful. No way in hell. It was Rainbow Dash that was beautiful. She could never be as awesome as the cyan mare, she thought to herself.

"I-I'm not beautiful! Y-you a-are!" Twilight quickly put her hoof over her muzzle. She didn't mean to be quite so straightforward like she just was. It was an accident! Although it was true. Her heartbeat sounded so loud that one could hear it for quite a distance. Or so she thought. She felt so embarrassed to have said that out loud, but there was no going back now.

"Oh really?" Rainbow smirked. "Then why do you make me so damn sappy huh?" Twilight pondered for a moment and spoke.

"Uhm I uhm... You had too much cider?" Twilight didn't sound very convincing, even to herself. She knew it wouldn't fool Rainbow Dash. Not even a little. Rainbow wasn't book smart like her, but she could see how unconvincing she sounded. Hell, anyone could.

"Twilight." Rainbow looked at Twilight with the best poker face she could muster. "Me? Too much cider after one fucking bottle? No. I would have to hide in shame if I was a lightweight like you." At this point Rainbow was trying not to laugh her ass off at how hard Twilight was trying to convince the both of them that in no way could Rainbow be right about Twilight being beautiful. "I could always... convince you that I'm right." Rainbow gave Twilight the best seductive look she possibly could. This made Twilight blush even more. Rainbow decided to tease Twilight a bit. "How would you like to... taste the rainbow?" Twilight started backing up a bit while Rainbow stared her down like lioness cornering a wounded gazelle. Just then, Rainbow noticed Twilight was about to fall into a water fountain. "Twilight! Watch where you're going!" She tried to warn her in time, but it was too late. Twilight fell into the fountain. "Hey Twi. You oka-..." Rainbow stopped in her tracks as she looked at Twilight, completely soaked from head to toe. "Holy shit!" Rainbow grabbed her nose as it started bleeding. This was the hottest thing she had ever seen! "Dear Celestia this is hot!" Rainbow couldn't contain her excitement. As she looked at Twilight, her mane, tail and wings dripping wet, she felt her wings stand at attention with a 'pomf' sound. "Fuck." She tried hard to get them back down, and with a bit of effort, she succeeded. "Are you ok Twilight?" Rainbow reached out her hoof to pull her up while trying not to pin her to the ground and have her way with Twilight right there.

"Yes. I'm fine." Twilight shook herself off in an attempt to dry off. Which only served to make her look sexier. She looked at Rainbow who was having a nosebleed. "Oh my Celestia! Are you ok Rainbow Dash?!" Rainbow simply nodded her head. Twilight searched frantically looking for a napkin or something to help her. She couldn't find anything however. That is, until a certain yellow pegasus trotted by who happened to be carrying a basket full of them. "Well, how convenient." Twilight said. "It's almost as if she were put here in this exact moment on purpose."

Meanwhile, back at Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie got the strange feeling someone was breaking the fourth wall without her.

Back at the park with Twilight breaking the fourth wall.

Fluttershy noticed Twilight and Rainbow Dash, and decided to say hi. "H-hello Twilight, hello Dashie."

Twilight trotted up to Fluttershy with a smile. "Hello Fluttershy, how are you?"

Fluttershy smiled shyly. "I-i'm doing good today. W-what are you and Rainbow Dash up to, if y-you don't mind me asking."

Twilight didn't like the fact that Fluttershy was still shy around her, but it couldn't be helped I suppose. "I'm actually on a date with Rainbow right now." Twilight had forgotten the fact that she hadn't told Fluttershy in advance about the two of them going on a date, but it was irrelevant at this point. Now she had to brace herself for Fluttershy's reaction.

"Oh my. That sounds lovely Twilight." Fluttershy smiled from ear to ear.

So you don't have an issue with me dating a mare?" Twilight was happy, but a bit surprised.

"Not at all Twilight." Fluttershy exclaimed. "I like mares too so I don't see why it would be an issue." Fluttershy giggled a bit at Twilight's reaction. It was at that moment that Twilight remembered the fact that Rainbow Dash had a bloody nose. Fuck. She needed to pay attention better at times like these.

Oh, Fluttershy! I happened to notice that you have napkins in your basket. May I use a few of them? Rainbow has a bloody nose. Although I'm not sure how that happened." Twilight was so damn oblivious sometimes it hurt.

"Of course you can Twilight. I always carry one with me just in case." Fluttershy gave Twilight a few napkins out of the basket and Twilight handed it to Rainbow Dash. She looked at Rainbow and tilted her head slightly. "How did your nose start bleeding in the first place Rainbow Dash?" Rainbow waved her hoof dismissively.

"Oh you know, stuff happened and my nose just started bleeding. Weird huh?" Rainbow tried to seem as if nothing happened. It seemed to work at least.

"Alright Rainbow. Well I've got to go feed Angel. You know how he can be when he gets hungry." Rainbow had a flashback of when Angel almost ate her. She shuddered.

"Yeah, I do. Never. Again." Rainbow never looked at that bunny the same way again. As Fluttershy left, Twilight and Rainbow waved to her. "That went better than expected. I always thought Fluttershy was straight. I guess we learn new things every day."

Twilight nodded in agreement.

An hour went by and it was time for the two to go home. Twilight was quite happy with how the date went. Rainbow couldn't get the image of Twilight getting soaked out of her mind, but she was happy nonetheless. The two had reached Twilight's castle and Twilight was about to go inside when she stopped. She turned to Rainbow Dash who looked at her.

"Uhm... Rainbow?" Twilight was nervous. She was preparing herself for what came next.

"Yeah Twilight?" Rainbow was slightly tired and was ready to go home. All at once, she found herself with Twilight's hooves around her neck and Twilight's lips pressed firmly against hers. Rainbow was shocked at first because Twilight was never this assertive about these kinds of things, but she simply kissed her back. Kissing turned into making out as Rainbow Dash stuck her tongue inside Twilight's mouth and wrapped itself around Twilight's tongue. Twilight went along with her and they simply basked in the warmth of each others tongues. Twilight moaned slightly and went further into the kiss. Rainbow pulled away only to bite Twilight's lip which Twilight thoroughly enjoyed Twilight kissed Rainbow's neck in response while Rainbow glided her hoof along Twilight's wings, causing Twilight to moan. As they started to get into the heat of the moment, Spike suddenly opened the door due to noticing that Twilight was back.

"Oh hey Twilight! How was your da--..." Spike saw what was going and started blushing. "Oh u-uhm n-nevermind. I'll be going back inside now!" He slammed the door shut. Damn. Now the mood was ruined.

"Sorry Rainbow." Twilight was blushing deeply.

"It's cool Twi." Rainbow tried to hide her embarrassment. "I'll just see you tomorrow." Just as she was about to leave, Twilight stopped her.

"Uhm, Rainbow Dash?" Twilight looked at the ground.

"Yeah, Twi?" Rainbow Dash looked at her still blushing.

"I love you." Twilight cantered in the house and shut the door.

"I love you too Twilight." Rainbow Dash flew away as happy as she could ever be. She officially had a marefriend!

Rainbow was always one to pay attention to where she was going when she flew around Ponyville. It's how she memorizes things after all. So when Rainbow crashed through a window because she was day dreaming while flying, you can imagine how embarrassed she was. Also, if there was another thing she was irritated by, it was getting random wingboners while she flew. I mean seriously, have you ever tried running with a boner? No fucking thank you. It made flying a pain in the ass for Rainbow, and other ponies laughed at her. I guess it wasn't her fault though. Stupid sexy Twilight. However, she was also as happy as one could be when they started dating someone. She couldn't contain her excitement, and even bragged to her work buddies about going out with the hottest mare in Ponyville, if not in all of Equestria! Then again, she was extremely biased, but who the hell cares! Rainbow was going to go meet Twilight so they could go on a date, but not before talking to Rarity, who asked to talk to Rainbow since Twilight was avoiding her so she didn't have to say anything about what happened as a way to get back at Rarity for leaving her behind. Rainbow wasn't too eager to talk to Rarity because she knew what was going to happen.

She flew down to Carousel Boutique and entered the door, causing a bell to ring.

"Hello and welcome to Carousel Boutique! How may I help... Oh! Rainbow darling, it's you!" Rarity could barely contain her excitement at Rainbow showing up. There was no way in Tartarus that she would let Rainbow walk out without hearing how the date went. She was secretly hoping that they did naughty things so she could write for her gossip column. Of course she would make them anonymous so no one found out Twilight was dating. That and she didn't want any erm "confrontation" as it were.

"Yeah, it's me." Rainbow could barely contain her excitement at the idea of girly gossip with THE drama queen. Rarity sensed the hint of sarcasm which I call less of a hint, and more of the subtlety of a bull in a china shop. Rainbow was horrible at hiding her sarcasm unlike Twilight. "I suppose i'll just get this shit over with." Rainbow muttered under breath. She hated gossip and she knew Rarity would overreact and squeal like those fillies in high school.

"Now darling... You must give me every little detail about your date with Twilight. Especially if's sexy or naughty." Rarity looked like a junkie trying to get her fix. Rainbow kept picturing wet mane Twilight and her nose would start to bleed.

"Fuck. It keeps happening!" Rainbow was going to end up anemic at this rate. She grabbed a tissue and plugged her nostrils and looked at Rarity who seemed to think that something sexy did happen. She went over the events of the date including Twilight falling into the fountain which caused her to have to fix her wings. Again. She excluded the kiss though. She knew that sharing that would only cause her more bullshit than she wanted to deal with at the moment.

"So... that's it? No kiss? That's boring." Rarity looked disappointed. She wanted something juicy to talk about. That date anything but. At least as much as Rarity knew anyway.

"Well I gotta be going. Meeting up with Twilight in a few minutes." Rainbow took off without letting Rarity say anything. "That... was close" Rainbow thought to herself. She only hoped she didn't have any wing problems when she saw Twilight. That would be embarrassing as hell.

Back at Twilight's castle, Twilight is lost in thought

Twilight was in one of those moments where she kinda stared off into space while day dreaming about Rainbow Dash. Ok so that was new for her. Not really. Well the kiss was anyway. Twilight sighed while going over the kiss she shared with her new marefriend. She had a goofy grin on her face and couldn't stop laughing. She was undeniably blissed out at the moment. Nothing could possibly drag her away from this moment. Except Rainbow Dash staring at her 3 inches from her face. Yeah. Wait, what?! Twilight sat up quickly and blushed violently.

"Oh! R-rainbow Dash! How long have you been there?! Twilight said nervously.

"About 3 minutes. And I was calling your name and waving. You feeling ok Twi?" Rainbow was a bit concerned about her.

"Oh, me? Yeah i'm fine." Twilight waved her hoof dismissively.

"You got the 'fine" part right." Rainbow muttered under her breath. I mean damn. Twilight had one of those flanks that made you double take and drool a little. Or least that's what Rainbow did. There was also the fact that Twilight sashayed when she walked, so it was hard not to stare... Fuck! Rainbow had another wingboner. She quickly put her wings back in place before Twilight noticed anything and grinned awkwardly. Getting a raging boner in front of the pony you love is horrible. Especially if no sex is happening that night. Rainbow drifted off and thought about Twilight moaning and blushing with her hooves covering her face as she told Rainbow how embarrassed she was. It took a lot of effort not to just jump her right then, but she knew that it would not end well. She might get blasted with magic or Twilight might teleport away. She wanted neither of those so she contained herself.

"So... You ready to go Rainbow?" She noticed Rainbow staring rather intently at Twilight and drooling a bit. 'Rainbow? Helloooo!" Twilight waved at her which caused Rainbow Dash to snap back from Sexy Twilight Land and back to reality.

"Oh. Yeah i'm ready Twi! I'm always ready." Rainbow was sweating and grinning nervously, hoping Twi didn't think she was weird or anything. Twilight thought nothing of the statement she made and Rainbow wiped her forehead. She planned on "handling" her issue later that night when she was alone.

Twilight never expected Rainbow Dash to crash through the window and try to drag her away from a book. It was a good book. Actually it was more accurate to say it was a great book. Yet there she was, being dragged away from a lovely book on a lovely afternoon. The annoyance on Twilight's face was plain as day, however, it looked like Rainbow was too busy pulling Twilight to who knows where to notice.

"Rainbow Dash." Twilight called out in annoyance. Rainbow ignored her. "Rainbow Dash." Twilight called her again, and again no answer. Twilight took in a deep breath. "RAINBOW DASH!!!" Twilight yelled.

"Sup?" Rainbow asked casually. Twilight's eye twitched.

"Why the hell did you suddenly drag me away from that book I was reading on this lovely day?" Twilight asked trying to maintain composure.

'Exactly that Twi. It's a beautiful day. You should be spending it with your marefriend. Not reading. "Rainbow smiled at Twilight. "Though I gotta admit, your reaction to me just dragging you away was funny and adorable." Rainbow fell on the ground laughing. Twilight was no longer angry, but she planned on getting even. She looked around to scan her surroundings, and saw that they were at the lake. That gave Twilight an idea and a devious smile formed on her face.

"Hehehehe." Twilight laughed while rubbing her hooves together, causing Rainbow to look up at her. She suddenly felt a cold chill and saw that Twilight's horn started glowing.

"Hey Twi... What are you about to do?" Rainbow asked nervously.

"Oh... Nothing much." Twilight said ominously. Her horned was now glowing brightly, which made Rainbow even more nervous.

"Twiiiiiiiiiiiii... I love you." Rainbow said with a nervous grin.

"I love you too, Rainbow Dash." Twilight stated with a big grin on her face. Rainbow looked everywhere around her in a panic, until she looked up.

"Ohhhhhhhh shi-" Before Rainbow could finish the sentence, Twilight halted the use of her magic, and a giant ball of water was dropped down on the cyan mare. Twilight was now the one on the ground laughing. She had tears flowing from laughing so hard and Rainbow was shocked from the sudden barrage of water.

"Oh my Celestia. That was great!" Twilight hadn't laughed that much in a while. She was glad Rainbow brought her here. Rainbow looked at Twilight with irritation and started walking over to her. Twilight looked up as she was laughing and saw the serious look now formed on Rainbow's face. She had quit laughing, and was smiling nervously as Rainbow had. Rainbow gave her a sinister smile and leaned into close. "Rainbow? Remember... I love you." Twilight squeaked.

"Yeah. I know." Rainbow said. She then proceeded to pick up Twilight and throw her over her shoulder and started trotting over to the lake. Twilight turned her head so she could see slightly and knew what Rainbow was going to do. Her eyes widened in horror and began to struggle.

"Nononononono. Please Rainbow! I surrender!" Twilight lookled panicky. Rainbow tapped her hoof on her chin.

"Hmm... Let me think about it." Rainbow pretended to think for a few seconds. "Nah. I think I'll do it anyway." She walked up to the edge. "Any last words?" She said with a grin.

"I'm sorry?" Twilight said with a nervous grin. Rainbow just laughed. She then flew over the lake and dunked her in. A second later, Twilight surfaced and swam the 10 feet back, while Rainbow laughed overhead. Twilight sat down on the dirt and thought for a moment. After a few minutes, she formed an idea. "Oh Rainbowwwwwww." Twilight called sweetly.

"Yeah Twi?" Rainbow asked while wiping the tears from her eyes.

"I hope you've had fun, because now you're going down." Twilight narrowed her eyes and smiled. She then started a spell which caused the water to rise and form a giant ball again.

"Really Twi? This again? You won't get me twice!" Rainbow flew around erratically.

"Oh I'm not doing the same thing again. I have a new attack prepared." Twilight said smugly. Rainbow stopped flying.

"Whaddya mean?" Rainbow asked curiously.

"Oh... Nothing much." Twilight then split the giant ball into tiny balls of water.

"Oh fuck me sideways." Rainbow took off flying, but not quick enough. Twilight started firing her projectiles with the speed of a machine gun. Rainbow did loops and spins, dodged left and right, and managed to miss most of them until she got cocky and turned around to stick her tongue out when Twilight was flying right in front of her with a stockpile of water bullets and popped Rainbow in the head, sending her into the lake. Causing her to get soaked. Again. Twilight had a smug grin on her face.

"So." Twilight stated smugly. "I have one question." Twilight said.

"Ugh. What Twi?" Rainbow said with annoyance.

"Why. Didn't. You. Dodge?" She asked as she leaned in to Rainbow's ear. If there was ever the face of a troll, Twilight certainly had a winner.

Rainbow decided it to be a bad idea to disturb Twilight while she was reading from that point on.

It was another bright and sunny day. The temperature outside was cool and just right for playing with friends. The birds were singing, the sound of busy food stands where ponies were buying groceries could be heard nearby and Rainbow Dash was being quiet sitting on the couch nearby while Twilight read a book. Wait. What?! Alarms went off in Twilight's head. She looked over to where Rainbow was calmly sitting and being patient. Something was very, very, very wrong with this picture. Twilight had never seen Rainbow sit down for more than 10 minutes unless there was incentive of some sort. Wait. That's it. Twilight looked at her marefriend once more and saw her sitting there, watching her read. Twilight was scared. Was Discord taking over Ponyville again? No, he swore that off a while ago. Was the world about to end? Doubt it. Twilight would have seen signs of the apocalypse. So if there was no impending danger, WHY WAS RAINBOW JUST SITTING THERE?! Inside no less??? Twilight attempted to read some more, but the alarms in her brain were ringing louder than ever. Twilight had a crazy idea.

"I'll... ask her what's going on." Twilight turned around on sofa and faced Rainbow, who looked at her with a shit eating grin on her face. "H-hey Rainbow." Twilight said nervously.

"Hey, Twi. What's up? I thought you were gonna read more." Rainbow said nonchalantly. Twilight was growing more suspicious by the minute. Normally Rainbow would be all like "UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! Twiiiiiiiiiii! When can we go outside and do, you know, FUN things?" However, she was just sitting there! Did I mention patiently?!

"Well, I uhm, I was. Then I thought I would see what you were doing." Twilight was hoping to figure out what Rainbow was doing without asking directly. Rainbow still kept that grin on her face. Sitting there. Not twitching or shuffling or anything remotely like what she would normally be doing.

"Just chillin." Rainbow said casually.

"Oh. Okay." Twilight said awkwardly. Wait. What if she was trying to prank Twilight? She began looking around to see if there was anything that could seem like it would be used as a weapon against her. "Sooooooooo. Rainbow. Got any plans for today?" Twilight was trying anything she could to incriminate her.

"Not in particular." Rainbow said. Twilight's eyes were twitching. What the hell was she up to? The alarms in her brain were now sirens screaming into a megaphone.

"Okay. Not going to see any of the girls or do stunts today?" Twilight asked curiously

"Nope." Rainbow said. Still wearing that goddamn grin on her face, getting Twilight more and more irritated by the minute.

"Okay. I'm gonna go read now." Twilight said, trying to hide her irritation from Rainbow. A few minutes went by, an d Rain bow was still quiet, still sitting there, and Twilight was getting a bit pissed. "Alright." Twilight said as she slammed her book shut.

"Alright, what?" Rainbow said curious, now grinning like a madmare.

"You're planning something. What the fuck is it?" Twilight said as she tried calm herself.

"I dunno what you're talking about Twi. I'm just watching my sweet, beautiful bookworm enjoy a book." Rainbow said calmly with a sweet tone in her voice. Twilight's eye twitched again. She only ever called her egghead, never bookworm. What. The. Hell was she up to?!

"You never sit down so calmly like this. EVER." Twilight searched the room, again looking for traps of any kind.

"Well I am now." Rainbow said.

"That's what is bothering me so much!" Twilight was fuming now.

"Well, I dunno what to tell you Twi. I'm just chillin like a boss while you freak the fuck out. You need to relax." Rainbow was now lying down on the couch, feet propped up on the arm. Twilight just stared at her.

"Oh my Celestia! I can't anymore! I need to go outside." Twilight walked to the door, opened it, and had a bucket of flour dropped on her head. She heard the sound of Rainbow laughing her ass off as she fell on the ground.

"Holy shit! I thought you'd never do it! Hahahaha! Holy Celestia! Your face is priceless!" Rainbow was in tears from laughin g now. Twilight approached her marefriend and smiled gently.

"Ii will get you back, Rainbow. Maybe tomorrow, maybe ten years from now, who knows. I know you won't. Buuuut, you will regret this." Twilight said sweetly. Rainbow looked back at her with the same sweet smile.

"Totally worth it." Rainbow got up, walked outside, and flew off. Meanwhile, Pinkie was in the bushes with a camera watching the spectacle she had just seen, chuckling to herself so as to not alert Twilight.

"Rainbow was right, totally worth it." She then got up and went home.
