They shined so bright, they lit up the night sky.
It was beautiful, no pony had ever seen such wonderful things...

When the stars are bright, she shines.
When the sky is right, she's there.
Only when the time is right.
Stands before you, that very mare.

She stood there, looking over the land. There was nothing more beautiful to look at. The stars were shining bright. The mare knew that it was time. Time for a change in life...

For years she had been wandering, there was no pony she knew...

There was no help anywhere at all...

Trotting onwards, she went. With a gold and midnight mane.

As her tail was trailing, no hope was there.

As she had been trekking for days to find Canterlot, it wasn't there. It was gone, she had no idea were to go next. Was there any bother in doing so?

The mare climbed up a tree to see the shining stars before her, the only thing that was reminding her of that wonderful life back in Canterlot.

Why did it have to happen?

She would've been back home, with all her friends... But now, it's just bad memories about loosing the ones that she loved...

There was no time to look back. Canterlot was in deep flames, forever....

There wasn't much that she could do....

The castle was quiet, all the ponies were asleep...

CLIP CLOP CLIP CLOP

There was a sound of trotting hooves that filled the tower

CLIP CLOP CLIP CLOP

Suddenly, a door creeped open...

CLIP CLOP CLIP CLOP

A mare came trotting into a bedroom and stood beside a bed, looking down at the pony that was sleeping in it. The pony went closer to the mare in the bed...

She reached out and....

" GLISSA! Wake up!" The pony said, shaking the mare that was asleep in the bed.

"Carmella, go away..." Glissa replied, she was the pony sleeping in the bed.

" Do ya remember what day it is?" Carmella said, sitting on the chair that was beside the dressing table.

" Well, I don't know. You tell me." Glissa said, making a sort of confused face. She then sat up and took her mane out of the band that had she tied it up in. Then, her long dark blue and yellow mane went flowing down the pillow.

" Well, you see... Ugh! Don't you remember?" Carmella said, getting frustrated at her friend.

" Wait! I know!" Glissa exclaimed, she jumped from her bed and used her magic to fix her bed.

" Well, can you tell me?" Carmella replied, moving the chair closer to Glissa.

" It's Princess Celestia's birthday!" Glissa shouted, she was jumping around the room like a mad pony.

" It's the day when all the ponies of Equestria celebrate their ruler's birth and every town, city and village has a giant party!" Glissa exclaimed, jumping into Carmella's face.

Soon after they both got up and went out the room to go to the library. The two mares quickly ran into the room to look for a book about how to plan a perfect party.

It had taken them both a while to find the exact section on were it should be.

" Found anything Carmella?" Glissa asked Carmella, who just went head-first into one of the book trolleys.

" Nope, nothing!" Came a muffled reply from Carmella, who was now completely covered in hardback books. Well, that must've hurt a bit.

Glissa kept on looking at all the books on the shelfs.

" Princess no, Party planner no, Purple horse disease, wait what?!" Glissa said to herself, she had just found the book the the two mares had been looking for at least thirty minutes now.

" Found it!" Glissa shouted down to Carmella and before Glissa could even say 'it', Carmella shot out the book pile and quickly teleported to the blue mare to see if the book was actually found.

" Well, problem solved eh Glissa?" Carmella said, opening the book and starting to read its contents. Carmella flicked through some of the pages to see what was there.

" Princess Celestia's gonna love this!" Glissa said, bursting into fits of giggles.

The girls both walked out the library with the book and went into Carmella's room to begin planning.

Running quickly, the attack has commenced.
Trying to escape, no way there...

When they come, she's there.
When there are here, there's the mare.
When it's done, she's here.
Then, the time is coming near...

Galloping on, nothing in her way. Running and running 'till they went away. Going on and going on unlit the day. The chase continued, ended with a shot from evils ray...

She looked quickly for a way to peace, for the Everfree could never have been your safe land. Darkness surrounds every corner, like no light is in existence.

She galloped away, like no tomorrow. She galloped away to find a safe place...

Carmella and Glissa sat down at the table in Carmella's room, to begin planning the party for Princess Celestia. First, they needed a theme.

" Well, she is a princess right?" Carmella said, scratching her head.

" Why don't we just have a normal, formal party that a princess would go to?" Glissa replied, opening the book to see if there was any information on how to plan and decorate for a formal birthday party.

" Let's see... Hmmm..." Carmella said to herself, flicking through the pages of the formal party section. Glissa walked over to Carmellamto see what she was doing.

" Well, first off we need the basics. I'll get the paper." Glissa said, walking over to Carmella's bookshelf to get some paper and a quill. Glissa picked up a quill and some paper and sat down to write.

" What are you writing Glissa?" Carmella asked, closing the book and going over to see what Glissa was doing. The Bose mare was writing invitations, Glissa then handed one to Carmella.
