Doodle Bug and Grey get bored during a history lesson. They decide to have fun with a sleeping Hoop.

I see what you thought this was going to be from the short description. It's a cute story about Doodle Bug and Grey doing something even more cute. Go clean up your filthy mind

Boredom

Doodle Bug sat at her desk, a hoof propping up her head as she struggled to stay awake. She already knew all of this!

"There are four different types of ponies, Unicorns, who possess magic, Pegasi, who have wings, Earth Ponies, who have no special powers, and Alicorns, which is what the Princesses are."

Doodle Bug rolled her eyes and started thinking about what she could be doing right now...

She closed her eyes and remembered the apple pie her Granddad had made. She licked her lips. What time was it? She hoped it was nearly time to go home, her mom said that if she got home and and did her chores, she could get some of the pie. Her mind quickly switched subjects.

A sweet smile spread across her face as she thought about Grey. He was so adorable, trying to figure out how to look normal. He kept randomly switching back to a changeling, which would be funny, if only it didn't happen in the middle of public. Needless to say, she was paying a few ponies to keep quiet. Just like in a movie. Her mind switched subjects again.

Speaking of movies, a new one was out, what was it? Snowdrop? She frowned. Yea, the name of the movie was Snowdrop. Weird name for a movie. Her mom told her to watch it, but she never really got around to it. It made Hoop cry, so it must have been pretty sad. She didn't like sad things. Her mind yet again switched subjects.

What was Hoop doing? She stopped thinking for a second hearing a rather loud snoring. Asleep. Of course. She snorted and put her head down. She would rather be sitting at the Ponyville Hospital, in a cast or two, than here. She slowly started drifting off.

"Doodle Bug!"

She blinked and looked around, "Hm? I'm awake, I'm awake..."

"Doodle Bug, you ARE NOT allowed to sleep in class! Don't make me call your parents young lady!"

Doodle Bug raised an eyebrow and glanced at Hoop, who was fast asleep. She rolled her eyes, "Okay, Ms.Cheerilee." Doodle Bug snorted and pushed up her glasses.

Mr. Cheerilee continued 'teaching' the class, while Doodle Bug stared at the clock. "Tick tick tick tick." She whispered, putting her hooves over her face. "Tick tick tick..." She grabbed a hoofful of her mane, groaning lowly as she continued ticking along with clock. "Tick tick tick ti-"

Her ticking was cut short by a piece of paper sliding onto her desk using magic. She blinked and looked over at Grey, who smiled at her and nodded at the paper. She grabbed it and, with a cautious glance up at Cheerilee, opened it.

are you board to?

yes [ ] no [ ]

She blinked a few times and grabbed her pencil, ignoring his misspellings and checking 'yes'. He was a changeling after all. She looked back up at Cheerilee, making sure she wasn't looking, before sliding the paper back to Grey. He read it and smiled, writing something quickly before sending it back.

yes [✔] no [ ]

lets mess with hoop

He slid it back and Doodle Bug grinned widely, flipping the paper over and quickly writing 'I'M TOTALLY AWAKE' in a speech bubble and holding it up near Hoop's head. Grey leaned forward to read it and giggled, covering his mouth and grabbing another peice of paper.

Doodle Bug leaned forward to read what he wrote as he held it near Hoop's head.

'I'M A HUGE WEEB'

Doodle Bug snorted and motioned for Grey to hand her the paper, flipping it over and drawing (to the best of her abilities) a laser gun from her video game, and holding it near Hoop's head. Grey looked at it and grinned, grabbing a piece of paper and drawing the end of the laser shot, holding it on the other side.

"GREY STREAM! DOODLE BUG!" Cheerilee shouted as she looked up, seeing the foals antics. Doodle Bug froze and dropped the paper, knocking the rest onto the floor so they were out of site. Cheerilee stared at them for a moment, making sure they knew she wasn't happy, before going back to talking. Doodle Bug grinned and quickly picked up a paper, doodling a small Hoop next to the speech bubble (that said I'M A HUGE WEEB). She slid it to Grey and he smiled, nodding at her. She grabbed the others, doing the same with them.

After all the papers were filled with their respected tiny Hoops, Grey started writing more. Her favorites were, 'I HAVE A CRUSH ON STACEY'S MOM'

'MY BEST FRIEND'S CUTER THAN ME'

'I PROBABLY LIKE STAMP COLLECTING'

And the greatest, 'I AM THE AT&T OF PONIES'

She continued to draw tiny Hoops, pausing only when Hoop started waking up. When they were both out of paper, they decided that drawing on Hoop was a good idea. Hoops front legs were now covered in random things, drawings and random words. Doodle Bug drew a cute dog on his cheek and giggled. She wrote the word nevermore up and down his front leg, stopping when Grey took her pen. Apparently he didn't like the word as much as her.

When the school bell rang, Hoop finally woke up, his ear flopping down. He rubbed his head and realized he was covered in ink, blinking a few times as he did. He glared at Doodle Bug and Grey when he saw the ink all over him, and nearly screamed when he saw the papers. He chased them out of the school building, screaming 'THINK OF THE TREES!' and 'I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS!'

He didn't stop until Doodle Bug got stuck in a tree trying to get away from him, and then had to spend an hour with Grey trying to convince her to just fly down, but honestly, that's a story for later.
