Prologue: The escape

The banks sirens wailed louder than we had anticipated as I had crowd control and my partner was busy getting the vault open, I felt my hands begin to sweat through the gloves I was wearing and felt my grip begin to get loose while I was holding the assault rifle in my hands and watched as one of the guards lying on the ground reached for his gun, I quickly shot him dead.

"That is a warning, no heroics people! Do you want to die like him?" I shouted at the crowd as my partner came out with his bag loaded and mine on his back as he picked up his 1911 that was on the counter behind me.
"Let's go and get to the rendezvous point with the others before the police get here." He said while following behind me to the door with his back to me and his gun to the crowd of people till we were outside and in his car that he bought just for this reason.
"Your driving!" I shouted to him as I heard the sound of sirens approaching the bank, and jumped in the back of the truck where we had a little something for the police if we couldn't reach the point in time.
"Remember, only use it if we have no other choice!" He shouted as he started the car and struggled as the car began to shake as he put it into high gear and sped down the road.

I changed the magazine in my rifle, grateful that he had packed spares, and looked up as I saw that there was a few cops speeding after us in the distance, I smirked while opening the box next to me and pulled out a scope and quickly mounted it onto my rifle and aimed carefully and took out the driver of the leading car, and quickly dispatched the drivers of the remaining several cruisers, and smiled when I saw that the first one rolled over into a ditch.

"Nice shooting Iron, at this rate we'll be home free for sure!" He shouted while taking a hand off the wheel to pull the string that was holding the tarp in the back in place, and let it loose, revealing a mounted machine gun. "We got a barricade ahead of us, take it out!" He shouted while putting the accelerator pedal to the floor.

I simply nodded and quickly swung the gun so that the barrel was facing in front of us and saw that the police had organized some last minute effort against us and smirked while lining up the iron sights to the cars in the middle and pulled the trigger and felt the recoil of the gun make the mount moan in protest as I kept firing making the cars in the middle blow up and send the other cars tumbling to the sides as the force from the explosion blew them away from the barricade, and we sped past them as I watched how they were on the ground trying to collect their wits.

"Think the mayor is going to place a bounty on us?" He said while laughing at the chaos we were causing, and I saw the exit we were going to take, and was relieved when I saw the train slowing and the other group there already and unloading their loot and throwing it into a train car that was now beginning to accelerate since we were here.

"Looks like were all good!" I shouted while grabbing the machine gun and throwing it into the open train car as we pulled up next to it, and threw in the money bags as he handed them to me, and waited for him to jump in first while I grabbed the assault rifle and some spare ammo for just in case, and jumped in making it with his help.

"We did good!" He shouted while the others jumped in and closed the doors behind them.
"What's the pot?" The other group asked while taking a floodlight out of their gear bags.
"If we did this correctly it should be about 100 million, and that means 20 million a piece." My partner replied while opening his bag and showing his money, while I couldn't help but get fascinated.
"Good.......RD, divide it up while I talk to them." Their leader said while making the cyan colored pony begin to divide the money into 5 stacks.

I watched as the group leader opened up a laptop from his bag and set it on a crate and pulled up security footage of my heist and it showed my partner making a call while he was in the vault, and then began loading up the bags.
"Care to explain this?" He said while pulling a gun on me and partner.
"I called you guys." He said weakly.
"Nice try you filthy rat, how much do they know? And is Iron a cop also?" He asked in a calm voice while aiming his gun at the person I thought I knew.
"No......they know nothing else." He said before he lunged at the leader and attempted to kill him before the gun went off and shot him and left the leader unharmed.

I watched horrified as he rolled over and put his hands against his stomach as some of his organs were showing and blood was pooling out of him slowly, making the metal floor slick and made the person they called RD move the money away.

"Cheer up Iron, More money for all of us, and besides he was a coop, why do you think he didn't shoot anyone!" The leader said while smiling as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it."Besides, nothing better than killing a cop to get one in the mood for a smoke, want one?" He said while offering one of his. I took it grateful for the offer, and lit it off of his cigarette and inhaled it deeply, feeling relieved as I felt the rush of nicotine enter my veins and calm my nerves as I saw my partner finally die and noticed how the light in his eyes faded away.
