Daring do and Rainbow dash go on an epic journey to save pony kind! From gum balls?
Daring do and Rainbow dash are setting out on an epic journey across Equestria to save pony kind! From candy? Along the way, they will encounter an evil dentist, a taffy torture machine, and many more creepy things! But, when something unexpected happens to Dash, will they ever find the pony behind all of this?
"I know that I said I wanted a job for over the summer, but alligator sitting for Pinkie pie? That's a new low. Even for a pegasus pony who can't get her wings to get her off the ground." Scootaloo said with a groan as she tugged on Gummy, Pinkie pie's toothless pet alligator's leash, buzzing her wings furiously. Meanwhile, over at Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie pie was hosting yet another of her wild and crazy parties!
"Woo hoo!" Shouted the happy party ponies as they danced to DJ Pon-3's sweet party beats. A little while after the party, Pinkie began to clean up the huge mess.
"Wow! That party was even crazier than the last seven parties!" Pinkie giggled to herself.
"Pinkie pie dear? Are you in here?" Mrs. Cakes asked as she came around the corner into the room.
"I am right here Mrs. Cakes!" Pinkie called, as she spotted a whole platter of unfinished cupcakes!
"If you don't have any other plans for tonight, would you mind watching the twins for a couple hours? We have to cater a new house down on the other side of Ponyville for a welcome to town party, do you think you can manage?" Mrs. Cakes asked.
"Of course Mrs. Cakes! I would love to help out and watch the twins!" Pinkie said as she scooped up the remaining cupcakes from the platter and deposited them into her mouth.
"Thank you so much Pinkie! Just remember, I need them to be in bed by seven o'clock. They have to be at daycare at nine ten in the morning, and I don't want them to be cranky!" Mrs. Cakes reminded.
"Sure thing Mrs. Cakes! I will have those little itty-bitty babies in bed by exactly seven o'clock!" Pinkie assured her. A little while later, the Cakes had fed the twins and were heading out the door.
"Thanks again, Pinkie!" Mr. Cakes said as he and Mrs. Cakes began to pull carts full of delicious treats to the new house.
"Don't bother waiting up for us, we will be home very late!" Mrs. Cakes called.
"Bye bye!" Pinkie waved. She walked back into the house and got the twins out of their high chairs where they had been eating dinner. She played games and toys with them until around six fifteen, gave them a bedtime snack, and carried them upstairs so they could be tucked into bed.
"Ah." Pinkie sighed grateful that the twins were finally asleep. She looked over her shoulder at the twins bedroom and smiled. Seeing the twins so peaceful and at rest gave her some comfort for what she was about to do. She trotted down the stairs to the main counter where all the candy and cupcakes were stored. She leaned down and scooped up some candy and cupcakes into the crook of her arm. Then, making sure the no pony was peeking through the windows, or spying on her, she put her hoof on an unnoticed part of the wall. This revealed a secret passageway to a special section of the basement that nobody but her knew about. She walked down the long spiral stairs until she came to a door. She pushed open the door to reveal a very dark room. As she walked in, her eyes gradually became accustomed to the darkness in the room. The room was round in shape, had a vaulted ceiling and had there been any lights to see, the walls were a deep navy blue in color. She came to the middle of the room and threw the sweets onto the floor. "There! Are you happy now?" Pinkie yelled.
"Yes of course, Ms. Pinkie! I am most pleased with your delectable confectionary delights!" A mysterious voice said, whisking the treats into a whirlwind of dark green and bright blue magic.
"We can't keep this secret forever you know." Pinkie said nervously looking around the room.
"You are most correct, oh Pink one." Came the voice again. Suddenly, the pony who was speaking came into view. He was a unicorn, practiced in dark magic. His horn was blood red, and was see through, like crystal. His deep green eyes glittered with pure evil and hatred. His mane was a lime green with crimson red streaks. His coat was a brilliant navy blue. His cutie mark was a crystal spear. His name was, Crystal Shard! He had been defeated long ago, but the candy that Pinkie had given him was giving him was giving him enough strength that he could get his magical powers back. Terrified, Pinkie slowly backed up the stairs. When she turned around to run, a cloud of his magic grabbed her tail, and quickly surrounded her body, dragging her back into the dark room. She struggled against him, trying to escape, when something caught her eye. It was a screen, and it flickered and flashed until it finally turned on.
"Rainbow dash?" Came the sound of Pinkie's surprised, and quite muffled voice.
"Oh yes Madame Pie! It is your good friend Rainbow dash!" Crystal Shard snarled. The screen showed Rainbow and Daring do having a sleepover at Rainbow's cloud house. At the moment, they were playing board games and cracking funny jokes. Pinkie, upon seeing that the stallion was distracted, wriggled her way out of his magic and tried to creep away. "And just where do you think you are going?" Crystal Shard said laughing with wicked glee as he caught her in his magic and dragged her back, forcing her to sit and watch the screen. "We will stay here and watch this grand adventure unfold. But first, I believe that we should give Miss Daring do a little annoyance." He said as his horn flared up, sending out a beam of light, then went out, as he laughed manically.
Over at Rainbow Dash's house, Rainbow and Daring Do were up in Rainbow's bedroom playing a board game.
"Hey Dash, who do you get when you cross an evil scheme with a fallen temple full of treasure?" Daring asked.
"I don't know, what do you get?" Rainbow Dash replied.
"Ahuizotl! That's who!" Daring said cracking herself up.
"Ha ha! And it's true!" Rainbow said chortling. "Hey, do you want me to go grab the snack plate that Pinkie pie made up for us? I just mentioned that you were sleeping over and she volunteered to make us some snacks." Rainbow Dash asked.
"Sure Rainbow! I am really hungry after all." Daring Do admitted.
"Sweet! I'll go grab them!" Rainbow said getting up and stretching, before walking out the door. She walked down the fluffy cloud stairs and into the kitchen. She opened the fridge and started rummaging through it. She was trying to find the delicious snack platter that Pinkie Pie had prepared for them. As she looked along the shelves of the fridge, she spotted something she hadn't noticed before. It was an innocent looking vanilla cupcake, with pink frosting and blue crystal shards. Rainbow Dash licked her lips hungrily. She hadn't eaten since dinner, and that cupcake looked so delicious! She reached into the fridge, and pulled out the cupcake. Rainbow drooled in anticipation. She looked back and forth to make sure that Daring Do didn't see her devour the cupcake. She brushed off a few of the sprinkles, there were way to many of them, it would be like eating a cactus, and shoved the whole thing into her mouth. Suddenly, her eyelids started drooping and she felt extremely tired. She collapsed on the floor, unconscious, as everything around her grew larger and larger. After about a half hour of waiting for Rainbow Dash to come back with the snacks, Daring Do began to get a little worried.
"Why hasn't she come back with the snacks yet!" Daring muttered to herself as she paced around the room. "I mean, its not like Ahuizotl showed up and kidnapped her, right?" Daring Do opened the door to the bedroom, and peered down the stairs. "I guess I could check on her, make sure that everything is alright." Daring said as she began to walk down the stairs to the kitchen. "Hello? Rainbow Dash? Are you there?" Daring called. She noticed that the fridge was open, so she walked over to close the door. She stumbled and almost tripped over something. She looked down with a scowl, and was about to kick it away, when she noticed what it was. It was a filly, about the Cutie Mark Crusaders age, lying on the floor. The filly was a light cyan in color, and had an unruly rainbow colored mane and tail. Something else Daring noticed, was that the filly, who was unmistakably Rainbow Dash, had traces of cupcake frosting, and fragments of crystal sprinkles around her muzzle. Daring Do's jaw dropped down to the floor. Just then, Rainbow Dash woke up.
"Wossat? Where am I?" Rainbow said, looking around the kitchen. "Oh, Daring Do! It's you! Say, could you give me a hoof here and help me up?" Rainbow Dash said sticking her now tiny, and short, foreleg up towards Daring. Daring however, was still in shock and made no move to help the filly up. "What's the matter Daring?" Rainbow said cluelessly. "Why are you staring at me like that?" That was when she finally noticed what Daring Do was staring at. "Ah! I'm a FILLY!" Rainbow said with a scream. daring Do just continued to stare at Rainbow's cupcake rimmed mouth. "Stop staring at my muzzle! We have bigger problems to deal with!" Rainbow said crossly.
"Sorry, but I was just wondering what could have happened to make you be like this! I think it might have been something in the cupcake." Daring said.
"Maybe." Rainbow said thoughtfully.
"What we need is somepony that is smart. Somepony who could find out what caused this. Somepony who would be able to have a knowledge of what has happened here, and make a hypothesis on the subject." Daring Do said as she began to pace around the kitchen.
"I've got it! We need my egghead friend, Princess Twilight Sparkle!" Rainbow Dash said, a grin erupting over her entire face. "She would know what to do. And she would probably want to write a four-hundred-fifty-two page research paper on this entire subject. She would also hook me up to some machine, and wait for hours so she could get some scientific evidence on the whole thing!" Rainbow said.
"Well then let's get going! We don't know how long you will be stuck like this." Daring said as she trotted over to the door and shoved it open. She spread her wings open, ready to take flight. Rainbow Dash mimicked her movements, and stood by the door. "Hold on there little filly, we don't know how strong your wings are!" Daring said as she pushed Rainbow back from the edge of the porch.
"You're right." Rainbow Dash said with a sigh.
"I guess that means I get to carry you!" Daring Do said as she grabbed Rainbow and lifted her onto her own back. Once Rainbow Dash was comfortably settled on Daring Do's back, Daring took off into the night sky. They flew over Ponyville until they came upon the library.
"There it is! That is Twilight's house!" Rainbow said pointing at the library.
"That is Princess Twilight's house?" Daring asked curiously.
"Yep! Now let's land!" Rainbow said. They landed at the door and knocked loudly, hoping that she was still awake.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." Came the tired voice of Spike the dragon. They Pegasi pounded on the door again. "Sheesh! Give me a second!" Spike opened the door, grumbling.
"Are you Spike the dragon? Number one assistant to her highness, Princess Twilight Sparkle?" Daring Do asked.
"Yeah, so?" Spike said.
"I need you to inform her that I request a meeting with her immediately!" Daring commanded.
" Fine, I'll tell her. Twilight! Daring Do is here!" Spike yelled.
"Spike! It's probably just Rainbow Dash in a costume!" Twilight groaned as she trudged down the steps.
"Nope. It's really Daring Do." Spike said pointing. Twilight sighed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
"Spike, it's just Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo!" Twilight said looking the pair of pegasi up and down.
"Scootaloo? Why in Equestria, would you think that I am Scootaloo?" Rainbow dash said. "We look nothing alike!"
"Oh Scootaloo, you obviously just put on your Rainbow Dash costume, and are talking in her way of speech, and are giving me the classic Rainbow Dash stare, with her annoyed smirk, and oh my gosh your Rainbow Dash!" Twilight said with a gasp.
"Yep! It's me! Rainbow Dash." Rainbow said confidently. Twilight stared at her, then fainted dead away.
