Just a Dash of Apple

Applejack uses Rainbow Dash to see if she was just turned off by Trenderhoof or stallions in general. When things start going better than expected, something rather unexpected happens.

When Applejack questions her sexuality after being so turned off by the attention Trenderhoof was giving her, Rainbow Dash flies in at just the right moment. Perhaps she can help Applejack sort out her questions.

Everything seems to be going exceptionally well, better than expected until... what's that, who's there??

Let me help you with that

Applejack giggled to herself as she began to undress. Beating Rarity at her own game had been fun, even if she did feel ridiculous in this get-up. She let her hair down and before she had a chance to tie it back up how she likes it, she took a moment to look at herself in the mirror. She frowned.

Why had she been so disturbed that a stallion was giving her attention? Had it really only been because Rarity liked him SO much, she didn't want to step on her hooves?

No, it was much more than that. When she had first realized Trenderhoof was interested in HER and not just apple farming, she had felt... disgusted at the idea. But why? He was handsome enough and he did seem somewhat interested in her passion for real. She let herself fantasize, for a moment, what it would've been like had she accepted his offer. Living on the farm with her, teaching him about apple farming, spending time alone...

"Eeyuck!" She said out loud, shaking her head at the thought.

But, why?

Was it just Trenderhoof, himself, that she didn't like the idea of? Or maybe it was... just stallions in general.

"No!" She shouted outloud, again.
"Ah ain't like that!"

"Like what?" A voice said suddenly.

She jumped and looked around. Out the bathroom window was Rainbow Dash, hovering slightly and bringing her hooves to the frame.

"Jeez, Rainbow! Can't cha ever jus' knock?"

"What for? You never mind when I just drop in!" She giggled as she pulled herself in through the window.
"Get it? Drop? Hahaha!"

"And ya'll still haven't quite figured out puns, have yah?" Applejack turned away from her friend.
"As much as ah'd love ta hang out, Dash, Ah'm rather busy at tha moment."

"Busy with what? Talking to yourself in the mirror?"

"YES! ...Ah mean, no! ...Ah mean, Ah'm jus' thinking about some important stuff, alright?"

"Like what? Maybe I can help you out! That's what friends are for, right?"

Hmm, Applejack thought to herself. Maybe you can help me out with this...

"Okay. Sure, ya'll can help. Close yer eyes."

"...What? Why do you need me to-"

"Jus' trust me! Please, close yer eyes?"

"Alright, fine... But this better not be you getting back at me for pranking you all those times!"

"Well, thanks fer remindin' me ah have ta do that, but no, this ain't a prank."

Rainbow eyed Applejack carefully, then sat down and closed her eyes. Applejack waved a hoof over her eyes to make sure they were shut, then walked over to her friend so they were nose to nose. Okay...Here we go!

She nervously leaned in and brought her lips to Rainbow's. A shiver ran down her whole body and her lips tingled. She didn't want to pull away and probably wouldn't have if Rainbow hadn't jerked back.

"Whaaa? AJ, what the hay was THAT?"

Rainbow had pulled herself back and was looking at her friend in disbelief. Everything about her face looked genuinely freaked out, if not for the fact that her wings were standing straight up. This made Applejack hold back a chuckle.

"Ah'm sorry, Dash, ah was jus'...checking ta see what ah like."

"And so you're checking on ME? Without even asking?"

"It doesn't look like ya hated it all THAT bad." Applejack said, pointing to Rainbow's wings.

Rainbow suddenly turned bright red, which rather contrasted her cyan coat.

"Well, um, that just...um, happens, sometimes...uh, I gotta go!" And with that, she flew out of Applejack's bathroom in a rainbow blur.

Applejack just stood there, laughing for a minute, then went back over to the mirror. She smiled at herself. Okay, so maybe she WAS like that after all.

She tied her hair and tail back up and went to grab her hat, but it wasn't in the bathroom.

"Now, where did ah leave that thing?" She asked herself, walking into the hallway. She took a quick look downstairs and in the barn, but it wasn't there. She could've sworn she left it inside before she put on that fancy outfit. Then, she figured since it wasn't downstairs, she must've left it in her room. She marched back upstairs and open the door to her bedroom, only to jump back in surprise.

There was her hat, alright, and so was Rainbow Dash. She was holding it in place perfectly over her...

"DASH?"

"Oh, uh, hey AJ," Rainbow nervously smiled.
"I'm sorry I ran out on you before, I just never expected you to actually make the first move..."

Applejack smiled and then confidently walked over to her friend.

"So, ya'll have been harborin' feelings fer me? Is that what yer tryin' to tell me?"

"Well, uh..."

Before Rainbow could admit to anything, Applejack hopped in bed next to her friend with great force, much like how she did to purposely ruin Rarity's bed sheets the night of Twilight's first sleepover. It startled Rainbow just enough for her to drop Applejack's hat.

"Now, THAT'S better," Applejack said coyly, as she brought her lips to her friend's again.

This time, Rainbow didn't pull away, but her wings still flew up in delight. Applejack began to kiss harder and more intensely, moving her hooves down Rainbow's body. She then pulled her tongue out of Rainbow's mouth and down to her throbbing wings, which could not have gone up any further if she tried.

"Ah..." Rainbow moaned as Applejack began to lick and nibble around her feathers.

"Ah always wondered how these things worked..." Applejack smirked to herself.

Just then, a flickers of light came from Applejack's closet, causing both friends to stop suddenly and look to that direction.

"Got it! We got it! Come on!" A familiar tiny, squeaky voice yelled.

The door burst open and Sweetie Belle, camera around her neck, went running full speed out of the closet, leaving her two companions behind. Both Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were staring at their idols, looking rather distraught.

"Sweetie Belle was RIGHT..." Scootaloo shook her head in disbelief.

Applejack and Rainbow had long since jumped off eachother and now were frantically trying to come up with any excuse as to why they were in such a... vulnerable position. Luckily the fillies had revealed themselves just then, before things had gotten any... steamier.

"Rainbow Dash... why were you two... doing that?" Scootaloo asked.

Apple Bloom just turned her head, looking angry and stormed out of the room.

"Apple Bloom, wait! It wasn't what ya think!" Applejack called, chasing after her sister, leaving Scootaloo alone with Rainbow.

"Uhh...That's...uh, that was just Applejack helping me preen!" She exclaimed.

"I've never seen a pegasus enjoy preening THAT much."

Rainbow was thinking of something else to say when suddenly she remembered that THEY had been the ones spying on them, and took pictures!

"What were you two doing taking pictures of us from the closet anyway?" She asked.

"Well, we WERE still doing the Foal Free Press, when Sweetie Belle said that she heard her sister say that it was only a matter of time before you two were... Well, doing THAT. Apple Bloom and I said it wasn't true and then it turned into a bet."

"So, those pictures are just for the bet...right?"

"Oh, yeahhhh right. The bet. Well, I'm sure I can keep them private, but you might want to start, I don't know, spending weekends hanging out with me and teaching me how to fly?"

"Wait... Are you... blackmailing me?"

Scootaloo just smiled at Rainbow Dash, eager to begin her weekly hangouts with her hero.
