Celestia tells Luna to play Flappy Bird. Things escalate quickly.

It's been two days since Celestia introduced Luna to Flappy Bird. And so far, she has:
-Destroyed a wing of the Canterlot Archives
-Not slept and barely eaten
-Almost killed one of the Royal Guards
-Smashed at least 15 phones
-Not raised the moon
Yeah, she got a little mad...

Stupid Game...

Princess Celestia was bored. She walked aimlessly down the hallways of Canterlot Castle with nothing to do. There was nopony around to prank, nothing important was going on in Equestria, and nopony seemed to be around. That was until the princess heard voices coming from down the hallway. She immediately went toward the sound, hoping there was somepony to play a practical joke on.

"No! That's not possible! I didn't even touch the pipe!"

"Hey Shining, what's your high score?"

"24. What about you?"

"19..."

"35! New high score! Yes!"

Celestia figured out the voices were coming from the room at the end of the hallway. She opened the door to find Shining Armor and the highest members of the Royal Guard gathered around a table. Each had a phone in their hooves.

"Oh, hello boys! How are you today?"

"Princess Celestia! W-We didn't expect you!" The stallions stood in front of Celestia and bowed politely.

"Oh, it's alright," said Celestia, chuckling. She liked it when ponies bowed to her for no reason. It amused her. "May I ask what you're playing?"

"Flappy Bird!" said Shining excitedly, pulling out his phone. "See, you're this little bird, and you have to fly through these pipes without touching them. It looks simple, but believe me, it's not."

"Flappy Bird? Sounds like fun! I'll have to download it sometime. Well, have a nice day!" The princess turned and exited royally.

"Thank you, Princess." said the guards in unison.

Celestia immediately went back to her bedroom, pulled out her cell phone, and downloaded the game. She patiently waited for it to download, but as soon as it was finished, she sat back on her bed, opened the game, and started to play.

It took her a few tries to get the hang of it, but she finally did. She never got mad at the game, though. Being a princess, you had to learn to keep your feelings in check.

"Hey, this is kind of fun!" she said to herself. "Look, I beat my high score! 7!"

At that moment, Celestia sat back to think. She realized how addicting this game could be to some ponies, and how mad it could make them. That's when she got an idea. Celestia felt like messing with somepony. A huge grin formed on her face...

As if on cue, Princess Luna walked in the room. She seemed to be up from her daily slumber. This time of day was the only time the sisters ever saw each other, since Luna was usually awake all night.

"Hello, sister."

"Hello, Luna. How are you?" She looked as bored as Celestia was before. It really was a slow day for the two princesses.

"Oh, I'm fine, thanks for asking. What are you doing?"

"Playing Flappy Bird. Would you like to join me?"

"Flappy Bird? I have never heard of it."

"You should come play it, then. Download it on your phone and give it a try. It's quite easy."

"Okay," said Luna, who sat next to Celestia on the bed. They both patiently waited once again for the game to download. Luna began to play without hesitation.

"Oh, I see. You tap the screen to flap, and you have to get through the pipes- WHAT?! How did I lose?"

"You touched the pipe," said Celestia, trying her best to keep from chuckling uncontrollably. "Now, I have some royal duties I need to get done. You're allowed to stay here and play for a while."

"Okay, thank you sister- NO!"

It had been a few hours since Celestia left Luna in her room to play Flappy Bird. She wanted to keep her in there and see what would happen, but Luna's royal duties were just as important as hers.

"Sister, it's time to raise the moon. After that, why don't we get some dinner?"

Celestia saw Luna was in the exact same spot and position as she had left her. Her eyes looked weary, and three smashed phones lay across the room, broken beyond repair.

"Uh-huh. I'll be there in a minute... Yes! New high score! 16!" The dark blue mare finally looked up. "What's your high score?"

"18." said Celestia confidently.

Luna's eyes were filled with rage. "WHAT?! NO! I MUST BEAT IT!" She hesitated. "Um, would you mind raising the moon for me tonight?"

Celestia rolled her eyes. She hated raising both the sun and the moon, but watching her sister get addicted to this game was just to fun too amusing. "Sure. But you have to come with me for dinner."

Luna groaned. "Alright." She slowly got up and picked up her phone with levitation. She began to play the game with her magic as the two sisters walked down the hallway two the dining hall. For her own amusement, Celestia decided to take the long way there and walk through the Canterlot Archives.

The wings were strangely empty. Of course, Luna didn't notice this. She was busy.

Finally, a Royal Guard crossed paths with the sisters as they walked. "Good evening, Princesses," said the unicorn respectfully.

"NO!!!" yelled Luna. Apparently the guard had interrupted her game. Her horn lit up bright as she blasted a beam in the guard's direction, nearly frying him. Luckily she missed, but instead completely destroyed a wing of the Archives. Celestia didn't care, though. Nopony visited that wing anyways.

"I was so close... to beating my high score...."

After raising the moon and eating dinner (which Luna barely ate, she was busy), Celestia decided it was time for bed. She left her sister in her room and went off to her own.

The next morning, Celestia went immediately to visit Luna. Usually by the time she woke up her sister would be asleep, but she wanted to make sure.

She wasn't asleep. In fact, Luna seemed to be in the same position Celestia left her. The only thing that changed was the pile of smashed phones had at least tripled in size. Her eyes were red from staring at the phone for so long.

Despite how tired she was, Luna managed to look up and smile at her sister. "Good morning, sister. I beat my high score."

"Really? What is it?"

"32!"

"Oh, that's a shame. Mine is 38."

"B-b-but HOW? NO! I MUST PLAY THIS!! I WILL BEAT YOUR HIGH SCORE!!" With that, Luna returned to her game.

That's how the whole day went for the two sisters. Every few hours Celestia would check on Luna, Luna would tell her her new high score, Celestia would say hers was higher, and Luna would get mad.

That evening, Celestia went to check on Luna once again. Only this time, she was telling her she had a meeting to go to.

"I'm going off to a meeting, Luna. I'll be back later. Don't forget to raise the moon."

"Okay..." said Luna, barely noticing her sister.

At that moment, Celestia felt a vibration in her saddle bag. She pulled out her phone to check it and Luna looked up.

"AHA!!" She yelled. She got up and grabbed Celestia's phone right out of her hoof. She immediately opened Flappy Bird and began to play, only to find Celestia's real high score... 7.

"SEVEN?! BUT... YOU LIED TO ME!!!"

"Yes, I guess I did," said Celestia. She looked guilty. "I just wanted to have a little fun, but I guess I went too far. I apologize."

Luna sighed and for once, talked in a normal tone. "It's alright. I guess I better stop playing this game."

"Well, I have to go to my meeting now," said Celestia. She turned and began to walk out the door, but stopped, as if she remembered something.

"Oh, one more thing," she said. "Have you ever played Iron Pants?"
