When the Mane 6 and Spike get 9 tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala, they must pick who should go with them. When everypony in Ponyville somehow doesn't want to go this year, they picked the cross eyed pegasus, Derpy Hooves and her daughter Dinky Hooves. Meanwhile, Rarity makes Derpy a Gala dress. At the Gala, will Derpy and Dinky cause a horrible tragedy? ((Is Incomplete.))
In the library, the Mane 6 were talking about the Grand Galloping Gala last year. "Ooh, and remember when I was freaking out because all the animals were running away from me! That was really funny." Fluttershy said ever so quietly at the same time a little loud for ...and a little sarcastically...no duh... "Wow, the day of the Gala was the best night ever! I can't wait until the next one!" Twilight exclaimed. "I don't know, Twilight, all I did last time was eat donuts." Spike said to the pony. Spike's cheeks then puffed up and he burped out a letter. "Oh, a letter from the Princess! I hope it's about the Gala. That would be like so awesome!" Rainbow Dash said in joy. Spike picked up the letter and cleared his throat before starting to read it aloud.

You and 8 guests have been invited to the Grand Galloping Gala this year. You may choose anypony as a guest and you are allowed to send back tickets if you have any extra. I would thank you to use all 8 tickets, the more the marrier! It will be held tomorrow at 8:00 P.M. EST (Equestria Standard Time) See you there!

9 tickets fell out of the letter. "Wow, 9 tickets, last time we only got 7. Ah' wonder if anypony else would like to come with us to the Gala." Applejack said in her cowgirl accent. "Are you kidding, it's the Grand Galloping Gala! The biggest party in all of Canterlot!" Pinkie exclaimed to Applejack. "Yeah, the glamour and sophistication, I always dream of living there! But I could never abandon my friends for Canterlot." Rarity continues with the subject. Pinkie looked at Rarity. "Thank you Rare, how loyal of you!" Pinkie said. "Hay! I thought I was the Element of Loyalty!" Rainbow yelled in a kind of sarcastic way. They all chuckled at Rainbow Dash's joke. "Yeah, I think we should ask people in Ponyville if they want to go the Gala with us." Twilight said to everypony in the library. "Ok." everypony said at the same time. The ponies and Spike trotted around town to Roseluck. "Hey Rose, wanna go to the Grand Galloping Gala with us?" Pinkie asked Roseluck. "I'd love too, Pinkie, but the Flower Show is on that day. I can't miss that, even for the Gala! But we'll see next year." "Okay!" Pinkie said as the ponies (and Spike) trotted toward Caramel nearby. "Howdy-do Caramel, would ya' like to go to the Gala with us?" Applejack asked Caramel. Caramel looked nervous and said "ummmm...No? I have ummmm...plans! Yeah, that's what I have" The ponies (and Spike) moved back while Pinkie said "Okie Dokie Lokie..." I've been spending peace and quiet with Matilda for so long, I've decided to take a trot around town with her." "That's great, Doodle!" "Nopony calls me Doodle but Matilda!" "Sorry Cranky, but Cranky sounds worse than Doodle. In fact, Doodle sounds even better than Pinkie Pie, but that would be an opinion. Ohhhh, have you had a chimmy cherry cho-" "Woah, slow down, Pinkie" Applejack interrupted. She turned to Cranky Doodle Donkey and Matilda. "How'ed y'all like to go to the Grand Galloping Gala with us?" "Well, we'd love to, but at the same time we don't, right Doodle?" Matilda answered Applejack. "Ummmmmmm... yeah, I guess...." "Ummm...ok y'all, no problem..." Applejack said confused. They all went on to the next pony...and to the next....and to the next.....and to the next....But they all were busy! "How can everypony in Ponyville be busy to go to the awesomeness of the Grand Galloping Gala?" Rainbow exclaimed. "I don't know, last year, everypony in Ponyville chased me for my extra Gala ticket." Twilight replies to the rainbow pony. As they were trotting around town they saw a house, not just any house, a house made of....muffins? "What's this house? I don't remember this house. Not at a-" Twilight was interrupted by Rainbow Dash. "Quick, let's get out of here!" "What is it?" Twilight asked. "That's not just an ordinary pony's house, that's Der-" The ponies were interrupted by a gray, cross-eyed pegasus. "HI THERE!" The pegasus said scaring them. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and said "Hay Derpy." Pinkie shot up. "Hay, Derpy. would YOU like to go to the Gala with u-" Rainbow Dash put her hoof in Pinkie's mouth. "The Gala!?!?! YES!?!?!?! Uhhh....what's the Gala?" Derpy asked. Pinkie shot up again. "You don't know what the Gala is? It's the most amazing, one of the most tremendous pretty much a-" once again, Rainbow stuck a hoof in Pinkie's mouth. Then Rainbow whispered "Do you know who you're inviting!?!?! That's Derpy Hooves, one of the most-" Pinkie pushed Rainbow off her as nicely as she can. "So Derpy, what do you say?" Derpy looked at the pink pony with her crossed eyes. Kind of. "Of course!" She exclaimed. She trotted to house and accidentally crashed into the wall. "Oops, my bad!" She trotted into the house and went into Dinky's room. Outside, Rainbow started yelling at Pinkie "REALLY PINKIE?!?!?! REALLY?!?!?!" Pinkie looked at the rainbow pony confused. "What do mean Dashie? She can't be that bad..." "Remember what she did to town hall, or what she did during Winter Wrap-U-" Derpy and Dinky trotted out of the house. Dinky's eyes were lit up like a lighter. "WHEN'S THE PARTY?!?!?! Will there be muffins? I need to know!" "Muffins? Why not cupcakes?" Pinkie asked Dinky. "Cupcakes? What's a cupcake?" Derpy AND Dinky asked Pinkie at the same time. Pinkie's eyes derped around and stopped after a minute, she then gasped like she did in episode 1. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT CUPCAKES A-" Applejack pulled on Pinkie's tail "Slow down y'all!" "Ah' think we outta prepare our dresses for the Gala." Now, Derpy was the one who started perking up....not in a good way... "But...I don't have a dress for the Gala..."
Rarity pushed the crowd away politely. "Did somepony say they needed a dress for the Gala?" Rainbow and Twilight rolled their eyes. "Well, as you can tell by my fabulous cutie mark and my unique sense of fashion, I can help you with your Gala dress." Derpy's eyes lit up. "Really, ummm....what's your name?" " I am Rarity!" "Ok, Rarity, let's make a dress! Well. I want mine to be pink, with muffins and with forks on the head!" Rarity had a mixture of a confused and a surprised expression on her face. "Ummmm...I guess...C'mon, my dear, to the Carousel Boutique!" They all started to trot to the Carousel Boutique. Derpy (obviously) tripped several times. "Are you okay?" Dinky would ask her mother every time she fell to the floor. "I'm okay, my little muffin." Derpy kept answering. They finally reached the shop. "We're here, m'dear. So...Pink...with muffins....with forks on the head?" Rarity asked Derpy "Yes-er-y! Right, Rainbow Dash?" Derpy looked at Rainbow Dash. "Don't talk to me, Derpy." Derpy turned back to Rarity. "I think that's a yes!" Rarity had a worried look on her face. I don't want to make a dress like that! I don't want somepony ELSE to almost ruin my career again! Rarity thought to herself. I guess I'll give it a shot. "Come in and sit down, my dear. While I start on your dress..." Rarity said worriedly. "Yippee!" Derpy said in excitement as she trotted in. Rarity sighed and went to work. After a half an hour, she trotted down the stairs and called Derpy. "Derpy! Everypony else! Come on up!" She yelled from upstairs. Everypony went upstairs and gasped when they saw Derpy's dress... Rainbow fell in laughter "What is that?!?!?!" She said. Derpy immediately took the dress and headed to the dressing room. 5 seconds later, she popped out looking like this... Spike laughed his pants off...if he had pants...Then, he accidently got the hiccups and /accidently/ burned his Gala ticket. "Oops, guess I'm not going to the Gala. See ya' later!" Spike rushed to the library. "Wow....THANK YOU SPIKEY-WIKEY!" Rarity yelled to the library from her shop. Derpy looked in the mirror. "I love it! Just like how I imagined it! Thank you, Rarity!" The Mane 6 had this expression on their face: Dinky popped out from the Mane 6's legs. "I like it too, mommy!" Derpy and Dinky jumped around happily. "Come on, dear, why not try something better. Like something that matches your cutie mark! How does that sound?" Rarity asked hoping Derpy will say sure. "Well...I guess..." Derpy said before Dinky interrupted "It better have a muffin on it!" Rarity, in excitement, said "I'll try!" She rushed upstairs to get to work. After 3/4 of an hour later, Rarity called Derpy upstairs. Derpy went upstairs, Rarity told Derpy to put the dress on and show the others. And that's what Derpy did. " I'll wait downstairs, honey." Rarity said trotting downstairs. Derpy exited the dressing room and went downstairs. The Mane 6 stared at Derpy as she appeared into their view.
"Wow," Rarity said "I did better than I thought!" The Mane 6 stared at Derpy for about a minute. "ummm...guys? And I thought I always derp around." Everypony heard a BU DUM CRASH nearby. They looked beside them and saw Dinky on a drum set. "What? Somepony needs to put in the drum sound effect!" Twilight looked at Dinky "That isn't physically possible, how did you get the drum set so fast?!?!?!?!?" Then, there was a light in the middle of the room. A purple unicorn in a torn up black suit appeared. "Everypony, you've got to listen to me. The reason everypony won't come to the Gala with us is because they know what happened last yea-" The purple unicorn disappeared before he could finish her sentence, but everypony (but Derpy and Dinky) knew what she was about to say. "Oh, that's wa' nopony wanted to go to the Gala with us!" Applejack yelled stubbornly. "Great! Just great! Not only are we famous for turning last year's Gala into a disaster, but now we're stuck going with the only pony in Equestria who could probably do twice the damage from last year ALL BY HERSELF!" Rainbow exclaimed. Twilight was still focused on Dinky and the drum set "But I still don't see how this is physically possible!" Derpy and Dinky were confused about Future Twilight coming to the past. "What was that Twilight about to say?" Derpy asked Twilight. "Stop asking questions, Derpy...and Dinky! It's like impossible for somepony like you to answer questions with the right answer!" Rainbow yelled. "Come on, Rainbow" Fluttershy stepped forward "Derpy and Dinky are trying their very best." Rainbow turned her back on Derpy and Dinky. Fluttershy raised and eyebrow at Rainbow. Rainbow didn't budge. Fluttershy did what she does best...THE STARE! After Rainbow Dash looked at Fluttershy, she turned into a chicken. Twilight walked up to the rainbow chicken "Not again!" Twilight used a chicken reverse spell and turned Rainbow back to normal. "We've seen a lot of hoo-ee today." Applejack said. "Yeah, I think we should settle in for a good night's sleep." Twilight said to everypony. Dinky had a sad look on her face "But I'm not even sleepy! And I didn't eat my daily muffin!" Derpy looked at her daughter "I'll give you your daily muffin, my little muffin." Derpy patted her daughter on her head. "Hooray!" Dinky yelled in excitement. Derpy and Dinky trotted back home. As the Mane 6 were were trotting out of the Carousel Boutique, they struck into a conversation. Pinkie started out. "Why won't anypony come to the Gala this year again?" Twilight looked at Pinkie "Because they heard what happened last year." "So?" "So! If you went, you're pretty much saying...Sure, I'd love to go to the Gala as a guest of the ponies who messed up the dance, threw a cake at the prince, yelled at the prince which caused a huge statue and several columns to crash down and then caused a stampede. While we're at it, why don't we unleash Discord again and make a real night of it?..." The Mane 6 all heard a voice in their head: Did somepony say my name? it said in a nasty voice. They all gasped. "Di-Did you hear that too, Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy asked shivering. "Yeah," Rainbow replied "I think we need some sleep, the Gala is tomorrow and we need some sleep...we will need energy before being at the Gala...with Derpy and Dinky tomorrow." "Yeah, I am really having to go with Rainbow Dash on this one. Goodnight everypony!" Rarity said to everypony. "Goodnight!" Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack said as they trotted home. During that night, Rainbow Dash had a nightmare about Derpy doing the most horrible thing by accident at the Gala! She released Discord! Rainbow Dash woke up almost having a heart attack. She sighed. "Oh, just a dream, come on Rainbow, Derpy wouldn't cause that much trouble!" Rainbow lied back down " I hope..." She sank back to sleep, only for the nightmare to continue...
Waking Up For The Grand Galloping Gala...with Derpy?
Applejack was the first pony to wake up...obviously...she does all the time........Anyway, she woke up by the sound of a COCK-A-DOODLE DOO! She woke up and wiped her eyes with her hoof. "Yee-ha! Today's the big day of the Gala! I wonder if anypony else (besides another Apple family member) is awake. Hope there ain't any other hoo-ee today. Oh..." She thought about the Gala...with Derpy...."Nevermind." Twilight woke up second. "Got to get studying the magic of frienshi- Wait! Today's the Gala! Spike, let's get ready!" Twilight turned to half-asleep purple and green dragon. "Now, Twilight? Isn't the Gala like in 8:00 P.M. "Yes Spike, that's correct. But we need to find a spell so we can actually go to the Gala, and this time, let's NOT pick one concerning other animals." Twilight had a flash back of what happened last time. She then went to the library window and shot a beam of magic somewhere near the Everfree Forest. Meanwhile near the Everfree Forest, Fluttershy was sleeping in her cottage. She felt a "large impact" on her flank and she woke up with a jolt. When she looked, she saw that the "large impact" was a leaf that must have fell out window. She sighed in relief. Fluttershy trotted outside and saw a beam of magic come her way. She ran away as fast she can trying to dodge it. "Oh My Goodness!" She yelled frightened. The magic beam missed Fluttershy and hit Angel Bunny. Fluttershy chuckled and Fluttershy thought to herself. I don't know why...but I'm happy that just happened Angel Bunny got up and then started to speak in Twilight's voice "Dear Fluttershy," Angel said "you don't need to bring any animals this year. ~Twilight" Angel then fainted. So did Fluttershy, from hearing Angel talk. Before she fainted, she thought to herself. Having Angel is torture but how he can talk. Why Celestia, why?!?!?! Rarity woke up next. She took of her sleeping mask and laid in down gently on the table. "Today's the Gala" She said in excitement "I better get everypony's dresses to them." She opened the curtain where there were 7 dresses. She stared at Derpy's dress. "I made Derpy's dress better than mine. I hate myself..." She trotted up to them "Well, it's not that good...I who am I kidding! It's amazing!" Rarity began to sob in her bed. She got up after 5 minutes. "What are you doing, Rarity? Today's the Gala!" She grabbed the dresses with her mouth and trotted outside. Rainbow Dash was the 5th pony to wake up. She yawned and shot out of her bed. "Time for awesomeness!" She said as she got out of her bed and trotted downstairs. She trotted out the door and flew off to Town Square. Not much else to say I guess... Lastly, Pinkie Pie woke up. She got out of bed and faced the screen. She broke the 4th wall and said "Hello, everypony and everybrony! Are you excited about the Gala?!?!?! I know I am!" She squealed in happiness. "Pinkie!" Mr. Cake yelled from downstairs "Are you breaking the 4th wall again?!?!?!" "It's fun, Mr. Cake! You should try sometime...oh, nevermind!" Mrs. Cake stepped into the room where Pinkie was "Pinkie, if you keep doing this, you could pretty much poke a permanent hole Equestria...so I think you shoul-" Mrs. Cake looked behind her and saw a white hole "Oh, too late..." She said. Pinkie looked at it too. "Whoa!" Then she turned back to Mrs. Cake. "Ummm...raise your hoof if we should ignore it?" They both raised their hooves, then trotted downstairs
