Chapter 1: The Last Night

It's a dark night in Equestria...and ponies are ready for trick or treating on what is the last night of Nightmare Night. It's part of the 31 Nights of Nightmare Night started by Celestia as a way to celebrate the night and get candy, plus it's allows Princess Luna to get out more, mingling with the ponies.

Twilight and her friends were having fun, from going to parties, going trick or treating or getting involved in stories. Tonight is the last night where it's going to be on major party...with the princesses attending, alongside King Spykoran the Old, the grandfather of Spike who loves this kind of holiday. Of course, back then, he celebrated Halloween as introduced by his human friends who are celebrating it back on Earth.

Twilight smiles, dressed in her costume which is the Mare Do Well (an identify that she and some of her friends took to teach Rainbow a Lesson), getting ready. She calls out, "Ben, Nyx, Spike, Phobos! Come on, it's time to get going! We want to go out trick or treating before hitting the party!"

Ben came in, wearing an outfit of Link from the Legend of Zelda games. He bows to her, saying, "I'm ready, willing to serve ya, my lady."

"You are just a flatterer, Ben. Let me guess, the costume is based on your Triforce Element."

"Yes...though why the Mare Do Well outfit? Won't ponies suspect that you and some of your friends were in that identify?"

Twilight giggles while explaining, "Nah! If anypony ask, I will tell them that I'm in costume. After all, I did see more costumes like this in shop."

Spike came in, wearing a Yoshi outfit with a stuffed Baby Mario doll on his back, saying, "I'm here and ready...and with a baby that won't cry."

"Nice outfit, Spike." Ben chuckles a bit to Spike. "And very appropriable too; I thought you would come up with something better after the incident with Lorcan though."

"Yeah...but I kinda like the Yoshi character, mostly because of the video games that I saw from Earth. Is Nyx and Phobos ready?"

"Sure am!" Phobos exclaims a bit as he came in, dressed like a Martian from 'Mars Attacks'. "Give me all your candy, Equestrians, or Phobos will eradicate your face!"

The others laugh a bit by Phobos's outfit and joke. Nyx came in, smiling as she is in her outfit from when she was playing her Nightmare Moon self in the school play. The filly chirps, "I'm ready, ponies! I'm dressed up and everything."

"My, that's an appropriable outfit, especially on Nightmare Night." Ben said with a smile to his daughter, nuzzling her a bit.

"Where did you get the outfit?" Twilight ask Nyx curiously.

"Oh, it was the closet all this time. Mr. T told me to wear it just for tonight."

"Who's 'Mr. T'?"

"He's my new friend who lives in this box!"

Nyx holds out a box, smiling as her family looks at it oddly. Spike opens the box and peeks in, chuckling, "How cute, an imaginary friend...though this box is empty."

"Huh?" Nyx ask confused as she peeks into the box. "Weird, he was in there earlier!"

"Maybe he went out for candy, I sure want to!" Phobos remarks, making Nyx frowns at him. "What?"

"Come on, we want to meet the others for Nightmare Night." Twilight chuckles as the family heads on out.

Nyx prepares to trot off, but begins to groan a bit. Weird, she was feeling fine before...

The ponies are out, trick or treating before the big party tonight. Twilight's group trots up and smiles upon meeting a familiar pony: Rainbow dressed up like Daring Doo.

"Hey, Rainbow," Twilight greets her friend with a smile. "Nice costume you got."

"Thanks! Oh yeah, do I feel awesome or what?" Rainbow asks her friends with a smile while folding up her things. "I'm so going to get candy this year...or tonight. As long as it isn't the lame candy like from Cranky's house."

"We did kinda trick or treat on him on on short notice. Are the others coming?"

"I'm waiting for Pinkie Pie right now. Hey, what's with Nyx?"

The others notice Nyx groaning a bit, mumbling, "Can you lend me a bit? Any bit..."

"Nyx, who are you doing?" Spike asks Nyx in concern. "That doesn't sound like Nightmare Moon."

"Err, I'm fine, really."

"You sure," Ben ask his daughter in concern. "Are you feeling sick? Perhaps I should take you home. It's only one Nightmare Night."

"No, I'm fine, daddy." Nyx said with a chuckle, then she groans and turns her head around, creeping the others out, "Ha ha ha ha!"

"Hey no fair! How come I don't get to do that," Phobos asks Nyx with a pouty look.

"Nyx; Cut it out!" Twilight exclaims to Nyx, causing her to go back to normal.

"Sorry, don't know what came over me." Nyx said sheepishly to her mother. "I'm fine, really..."

"Hey ponies! I'm ready for Nightmare Night!" Pinkie's voice is heard, much to her friends' notice.

"About time; what too...AAAAAARGH," Rainbow screams in terror as she turns around to see Pinkie...dressed in her outfit from 'Cupcakes', fake skin and all, "Pinkie Pie! I told you not to wear that!"

"Awwww, why not," Pinkie ask Rainbow with a pouty look. "It's scary!"

"Yeah, and it reminds me of one mistake that I rather not talk about; Ever!"

"You're no fun."

"Come on, we need to meet with the others." Spike said before turning to Nyx. "Nyx, are you going to be okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, really. I'm fine." Nyx said with a groan.

"We're going but Pinkie Pie, go home and change!" Rainbow snaps to Pinkie in annoyance. "I am not going to be seen with you all night in an outfit like that! Find a costume that doesn't want me to hurt myself!"

"Okie dokie lokie," Pinkie exclaims happily as she bounces away to go home and change. Twilight sighs a bit.

It's going to be a long night...

"Trick or Treat!" Three familiar foals said as they held up their bags to a pony at its front door. It was three of Nyx's fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders; Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo.

"Nice." A pony said with a smile as she saw the CMC dressed like monsters, with Apple Bloom as a zombie, Scootaloo as a vampire and Sweetie Belle as a witch. "Scary outfits!"

"Yep! Kinda appropriable, too," Apple Bloom exclaims as well.

The fillies got their candy as they head out. Scootaloo asks her friends, "What did you guys get?"

"I got a Tootsie Roll!" Sweetie exclaims happily.

"Ah done have a lolly!" Apple Bloom remarks with a grin. "How about yew, Scoots?"

"I got a rock...full of Butterfingers!" Scootaloo chuckles while showing her Butterfingers. "I hope we meet up with the others. I heard Nyx got a killer outfit this year."

"Yeah, at least from what she told us," Sweetie said with a giggle. "We are supposed to meet them over at Rarity's. Come on!"

Twilight's group meets up with Rarity who is dressed like Marelyn Monroe. Spike grins while saying, "Love your outfit, Rarity."

"Why, thank you for the compliment, Spiky-Wikey." Rarity said as she batted her eyes at the purple dragon.

"Yeah...who are you supposed to be? Some loose pony?" Phobos asks Rarity confused.

"How vulgar; I'm Marelyn Monroe, of course!" Rarity insists to Phobos with a frown. "What, never heard of her?"

"Nah! Never been outside the Void much," Phobos admits to Rarity with a shrug.

"I love your outfit, Auntie Rarity!" Nyx chirps to Rarity happily.

"Oh, thank you, Nyx, darling!" Rarity said happily, loving the compliment from her honorary niece.

"Sure, if yew being so froufrou-like," Applejack remarks, dressed up like Jessie from the Toy Story films, as she trots up with Fluttershy, dressed like a cat.

"Hey, cool outfits, you two!" Rainbow exclaims to her mare friends with a smile.

"Thanks." Fluttershy said meekly. "Uh, where's Pinkie Pie?"

"I send her home. She was wearing that outfit that I told her not to wear." Rainbow remarks with a scowl on her face.

"Eek; You mean... THAT outfit," Fluttershy squeaked in fright.

"Does an Ursa Minor eat fish?" Rainbow asks Fluttershy dryly.

"Uhh... yes?"

"Bingo." Rainbow said while chewing on some candy. "Pinkie better come up with better ideas."

"That's a neat outfit, Nyx." Applejack comments on Nyx's outfit. "What made yew go in 'dat school play one?"

"Mr. T told me to wear it!" Nyx exclaims happily to Applejack.

"Uh, who's Mr. T?" Applejack asks a bit puzzled.

"My friend."

"Something imaginary and all that..." Ben remarks then he notices Nyx twitching and growling. "Nyx?"

"Hey, are you all right?" Fluttershy ask Nyx in concern.

The filly then spoke in a different voice, "You're all going to die tonight!.!.!.!" Then she grabs Phobos's drink that he was drinking.

"Hey, that's my drink!" Phobos protests to Nyx as the filly opens the thing and pour the remains out.

The others stare in confusion or shock while the Cutie Mark Crusaders, as well as Twist (dressed like a piece of candy), Dinky (as Harry Trotter) and Pipsqueak (Mad Hatter) arrives. Pipsqueak looks surprised as he asks, "Nyx?"

"What the...?" Dinky ask while blinking her eyes.

Nyx finished pouring the drink while chewing on the cup. Twilight said in embarrassment, "Sorry, Nyx is acting weird tonight."

"I'll say! I've never seen her like this!" Scootaloo remarked in surprise.

"Not since 'de times she was Nightmare Moon." Apple Bloom said with a nod.

Nyx snaps out of it, looking confused while asking, "What? Why are you all staring?"

"You owe me a drink, Nyx!" Phobos remarks to Nyx with a frown.

"Come on; let's get going before all the good candy's gone." Rainbow said impatiently.

"Right, I wanna try out the grave ride later!" Twist exclaims happily.

"'Grave ride'," Fluttershy yelps meekly while following her friends on the trick-or-treating.

The ponies arrive at the house which belongs to Cheerilee. She answers, dressed like Tinker Bell, as the gang exclaims, "Trick or Treat!"

"My, what interesting outfits tonight!" Cheerilee exclaims as she gave some candy to the ponies, even Nyx. "And nice use of the Nightmare Night outfit."

"Thanks, Miss Cheer..." Nyx twitch a bit then growls, roaring while climbing up a wall, snarling.

"Nyx, get down from there!" Ben exclaims to Twilight in annoyance.

Nyx snarls while biting into Cheerilee's house. Spike exclaims, "Whoa; How come I don't get to do that?!"

"You don't." Twilight said with an annoyed sigh. "Nyx, knock it off or you can forget going out for the rest of tonight."

Nyx snaps out of it, looking confused while asking, "Err, mommy? Everyone; what am I doing up here? And how did I get up here?.?.?"

"You crawled up, that's a bit weird." Sweetie said as Nyx climbs down with Cheerilee's help, looking confused.

"You got into some weirdness? I missed that!" Pinkie is heard. The group turns and saw their friend in a clown outfit.

"Nice outfit." Rarity said to Pinkie with a smile. "And much better than that one you were wearing earlier."

"That's for sure!" Rainbow remarked in relief.

"Everyone loves a clown, so why don't you?" Pinkie asks happily to her friends.

"Sure, everyone loves clowns!" Nyx exclaims happily. Suddenly, she twitched and then spoke in her weird voice, "They are tormentors of innocence and will break the freewill of many in the pits of Tartarus; HA HA HA HA HA!"

The other ponies look at her uneasily, until Nyx snaps out of it. The filly asks confused, "What? What?"

"Okay, you definitely need to stay out of character for a while." Phobos said to Nyx in concern. "You may be in the Nightmare Moon outfit but that's too creepy even for me."

"Perhaps we should talk to the princesses and King Spykoran about this." Cheerilee said in concern. "It looks like she's acting...oddly."

"I'm sure Nyx is doing okay." Twilight said but glances at her daughter warily. "But we will talk to them when we see them at the party later."

"Yeeeah," Rainbow said as Nyx smiles happily while talking to her friends. "We don't know when your kid would turn from Dr. Jekyll to Ms. Hyde all over again."

After that recent incident at trick or treating, Nyx seems to have stopped acting weirdly enough for the gang to finish their thing. Since the party isn't for a while yet, they hit the grave ride.

"BWA HA HA HA HA HA," DJ Pon 3 laughs into a microphone as she stood in the wagon with the ponies which is being pulled by Big Macintosh, who is dressed like a vampire, for the grave ride. "Welcome! I am your host DJ Pon 3, your host for this ghostly ride! We are about to touring the undead who would be 'dying' to meet you; BWA HA HA HA HA!"

"She never gets tired of doing that." Pinkie said to her friends while Fluttershy cowardly covers her ears due to the mad laughter that DJ Pon 3 is doing. "Relax, Fluttershy. The undead isn't really coming out!"

"Oh, I know...but the laughter is creepy." Fluttershy said with a yelp.

"You know, long before Nightmare Night came along, an evil being once tried to make it Eternal Night...a monster by the name of Tirek the Abominable!" DJ Pon 3 laughs, making the foals laugh or scream. "Back when Equestria was once Ponyland, he plagued the land with his Demons and monsters along with his Rainbow of Darkness, kidnapping ponies and turning them into evil Dragons...until the Mag'ne herself came and destroy him with the Rainbow of Light which is now known today as the Elements of Harmony! But according to legends, his spirit refuse to go to Tartarus...but is still haunting Equestria, ready to seek his revenge!"

DJ Pon 3 opens a can, shooting out snakes at the ponies whose screams or laugh. Applejack exclaims, "Boy howdy; Ain't 'dat freaky!"

"Thank you! And now, let's meet the rest of the undead!"

It took a few minutes for the ride to be done, which got a bit longer with each stop. Diamond Tiara, wearing a Princess outfit, scoffs while turning to Silver Spoon, dressed like Jester, "What a joke. That Tirek is a fake."

"Like that of the Elements?" Silver Spoon asks Diamond Tiara with an arch of eyebrow.

"No, I mean the whole spirit thing! As if some half horse, half whatever is roaming."

"Well, I don't know, Diamond Tiara." Nyx spoke up, trying to speak reason to her. "We have seen weird possibilities in Equestria like..."

"Like you, Nightmare Brat?" Diamond Tiara taunts Nyx making her frowns a bit, "What, couldn't find an asylum outfit? Have to dig that out of your closet?"

"Hey, watch it, Diamond!" Phobos growls to Diamond Tiara in annoyance.

"Diamond, must we tell your father?" Rarity asks Diamond Tiara with a sigh.

"Oh, right. Come on, it's Nightmare Night. Nyx's big night...of acting like a freak," Diamond Tiara laughs meanly. Needless to say, Nyx's eyes grow as the mean filly continues, "Both her and Loony are failures just like Tirek. If he lets some god like thing and a couple of ponies beat him, I'm glad not to be ruled by him; Ha ha ha ha!"

"You will perish!" Nyx roars as she pounces to Diamond Tiara. The filly screams as the alicorn filly attacks her, trying to bite her. The riders yelp in alarm as the struggles is happening.

"Nyx, whoa, honey!" Ben Mare exclaims in alarm as he and Twilight tries to stop their daughter who is trying to bite into Diamond Tiara.

"Nyx, calm down; what are you doing?!" Twilight asks in alarm as she tries to pull Nyx right off of the struggling Diamond Tiara.

"Someone get her off me! She's biting me, she's biting me!" Diamond Tiara exclaims frantically as Nyx tries to bite her but is finally pulled off.

"What is wit' yew tonight, Nyx?!" Applejack asks Nyx who snaps out of it, looking confused. "Ah done know yew got a problem wit' Diamond Tiara but this is too much!"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I don't know what came over me!" Nyx protests to her family and friends in worry. "It's like something is trying to take me over!"

"I say! You look like you took the Tirek part personally!" Spike exclaims to Nyx in concern.

"Ugh, I think she bit me!" Diamond Tiara exclaims as she glances at where Nyx tries to bite her before.

"Oh relax, Nyx didn't bite you." Fluttershy said to Diamond Tiara gently. "I mean, there's no reason to bring lawsuit involved, right?"

The Cutie Mark Crusaders is beginning to get scared; their friend Nyx is acting weird...as if she isn't weird...as if someone else is in her role and not the real Nyx!

As the ride goes past some graves, not one of them saw a few Changelings peeking out. Fred remarks, "Oh boy! Looks like Tirek is doing well tonight."

"Yes, he is working on that filly happily!" Ed exclaims with a stupid laugh though Seto hits him. "Ouch!"

"Shut up, you idiot!" Seto snarls to Ed in annoyance. "Nyx keeps coming out at times but soon it will be time for the master to take over fully. When the time comes, he will have access to his fully powers...and Equestria will belong to us. Now come, Queen Chrysalis will want us to get ready for our places."

The Changelings nod as they quickly gallop off into the night. The time of Tirek is at hand...

Chapter 2: Party Time with Nyx

Despite what happened on the grave ride, Twilight decides to let Nyx go to the party...in hopes to speak to the princesses about her recent behavior. Something doesn't seem right with her for some reason.

Ponies are there in their costumes, talking, eating snacks and drinking punch. Caramel, dressed like a ghost, smiles while saying, "I'm glad to be invited to the parties once more...even though I kinda ruin the first day of Nightmare Night."

"'Kinda'; Yer story is plum depressing, Caramel. But...we can't hold it against yew anymore." Applejack said with a chuckle while patting a hoof on Caramel's shoulder, making him smile a bit. "Just don't end 'de stories like 'dat again, okay?"

"Yeah, sure."

Derpy is smiling as she is showing off her outfit, while saying, "Behold, The Muffin Princess; Mmmm, muffins."

"Very lovely costume, Derpy," Time Turner, dressed like some sort of past incarnation of someone. "Yours definitely shows off your love for muffins."

"Thanks! I like your costume, Time Turner. What are you supposed to be?"

Time Turner, rather nervous, said, "Well...err...how to tell you this."

Derpy interrupts Time Turner as she exclaims happily, "No worries, Timey! You don't have to say if you don't wanna!"

"Thank you, that's nice of you to say." Time Turner said with a sigh. He is not sure how to tell her of his past lives and all that...or if the stallion should at all.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders head out to mingle with their fellow foals while Twilight, Ben and Spike heads up to where the princesses are at, Celestia is dressed like Mickey Mouse from 'The Sorcerer Apprentice' while Luna is dressed like Darth Vader.

"Very much love your costume, sis." Celestia compliments Luna's costume, "Very appropriate."

"Well, as long as no pony thinks I'm going crazy again." Luna remarks with a scoff. "Maybe in another lifetime but..."

"Mom, Aunt Luna!" Ben exclaims as he trots up and nuzzles his mother and aunt, "Glad that you made it! Are you going to be judging the costumes this night?"

"We sure are, Ben!" Celestia exclaims to her son with a smile. "I cannot wait to see what costumes that you ponies will be wearing. And of course, we aren't going to deal with trickery like Rainbow pulled on one Nightmare Night."

"Yeah, Rainbow promised not to do that this time."

"First, we shall watch the Monster Battle!" Luna explains to everyone else with a smile, "A very interesting one where foals make robots to pit against one another in battle."

"Where's grandpa?" Spike asks Celestia and Luna in concern.

"He will show up, Spike. I promise you that." Celestia assures Spike with a smile that his grandpa, King Spykoran the Old, will indeed show up for the party. "He is just running a bit late, that's all."

"Mommy, daddy...I don't feel so good." Nyx groans as she trots up to her parents with a groan. "I think Mr. T is out to get me."

"Nyx? What's wrong with her?"

"Nyx, calm down," Twilight said to Nyx with a sigh. "We don't have to go through your weird behavior tonight! Now get yourself fix up so..."

Suddenly Nyx throws up right onto the princesses, making some ponies nearby yelp in shock. The filly roars furiously, "DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, FOOLISH PONY!!!"

"Okay, you need to lie down, Nyx. This crazy behavior of yours has got to do, now go." Ben orders Nyx who begins to float off. The ponies watch on, getting very uneasy looks.

"She's a very weird filly." Spike said uneasily. Twilight looks embarrassed as she gave some towels to her aunt-in-law and Luna.

"Sorry, just send us the bill for those costumes...if they are rentals." Twilight apologizes to Celestia and Luna, shameful of what Nyx just did.

"It's okay, we made them ourselves." Celestia said, looking concerned. "How long has your daughter been acting like this?"

"Since we left earlier; I don't know what's going on with her. It's like she isn't the same filly I know!"

"Yes, that is unusual." Luna said, giving a suspicious look to Nyx, who lay down on a bench. "What are her symptoms?"

"Roaring at ponies, spilling liquids from cups, biting, crawling up stuff then forgetting about it," Phobos said in recollection of what Nyx did so far. "Why?"

"Hmmm...something tells me that this isn't usual behavior for Nyx at all."

"Are you saying that my daughter could be turning into Nightmare Moon again?!" Twilight gasps to Luna in horror. The last thing that the purple unicorn wants is for that to happen again!

"No, I'm saying something else altogether." Luna said seriously, "As in possession. We need to check on her as soon as possible."

"I can only hope it doesn't interfere with Megan's arrival." Celestia said with a sigh, much to the surprise of Twilight, Ben, as well as Pinkie and Rarity coming over.

"Wait, Megan is coming?" Rarity asks Celestia hopefully. "As in your friend who helped taught you what you know and all that???"

"Yes, she promises to make a special appearance...and if anyone knows anything that was to go on, it's Megan."

"I can't wait to meet her." Ben said with a smile at the idea of finally meeting Megan at last. "After hearing so much about Megan, this is a great opportunity to be doing so."

Meanwhile, Rainbow is talking to Soarin', dressed like the Flash, the mare smiles while asking, "So what did you think of my performances of performing the Sonic Rainboom, Soarin'? And are you surprised that you're hanging out with a non-Wonderbolt?"

"Nah, we do this all the time." Soarin' said with a slight chuckle but saw something, looking puzzled. "Is something wrong with Twilight's kid?"

Rainbow glances to see Nyx floating up a bench. The mare blinks a bit while shrugging it off, saying, "Nah, she's an alicorn. What did you expect? Unless you count on some weird behaviors of hers..."

"Aaand, if she supposed to be shoot out lightning unconsciously?" Soarin' ask, more confused as lightning came out of Nyx...and without the filly being conscious at all!

"How should I know? She has been acting weird all night!"

The Mane Six and their friends aren't the only ones who note Nyx's weird behavior. A familiar creature in the shadows while wearing a cloak and hood observes this, saying, "Hmmm, Nyx is acting odd...better do some research." He grabs a book and starts reading it. His eyes widen in horror, "Oh, no!"

If what the guest thinks is suspecting is true, Equestria is in danger again!

The Mayor, in an outfit of the current president, spoke into the speaker, "Welcome to the last night of Nightmare Night, every pony! Did we enjoy our 31 Nights this year?"

"Yeah!" Mostly everypony in costumes cheers out, having a good time.

"Good to hear that! We like to thank Princess Celestia for introducing this idea to Equestria as well as her sister Luna for coming out tonight.

The ponies cheer as the Princesses wave. Celestia smiles to her sister while saying, "Wave, Luna; this night is mostly for you after all."

Luna smiles while waving though kept a wary eye on Nyx who appears to be glowing. Something is not right with her.

"We shall begin tonight's activities with Monster Battle! This round pits the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" The Mayor exclaims as the ponies cheer for Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie near some sort of goblin robot, "Against Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon!"

Some ponies cheer for the two bullies, some just boo. Diamond Tiara remarks devilishly, "You're going down tonight, blank flanks!"

"Yeah, well, we'll see!" Apple Bloom growls at Diamond Tiara for her remark.

"And now, let the fun begin!" The Mayor exclaims. The ponies cheers as the Snotty Duo starts off their Frankenstein robot, sending it at the goblin one.

"All right, Franky, do your stuff!" Diamond Tiara taunts madly as the two robots collide. "Maybe then we will stuff this like your heads, blankers!"

"Not if we take ya down first, bub!" Apple Bloom remarked back.

"Hey Cutie Mark Crusaders," A voice called out, getting everypony's attention. It came from Jakk Checkers (dressed as a knight) along with Colby Lollygagger (dressed as a gargoyle) and Matelda (dressed as a princess), "Knock those Gob Snobs' blocks off!"

"Yeah, show them!" Matelda cheered in agreement.

The ponies cheer on. With the princesses' group, they cheer on. Rainbow remarks, "I just know that Scoots and her pals would win."

"Eeyup," Applejack exclaims with a smile, "They done have 'de heart an' determination. Those snotty duo just have their mean nature."

A weird noise is heard, much to the group's notice. Fluttershy, trembling, asks in worry, "Did you hear that?"

"What is that noise?" Ben asks, getting a bit concerned.

"Must be rats, ugly ones; we should set traps down." Phobos remarks with a shrug, not noticing Nyx glowing nearby, the real source of the noises.

The ponies saw a cloaked figure coming to the box, speaking, "Excuse me? Am I late?" She removes her hood, revealing a familiar blonde haired girl.

"Megan, you're here!" Celestia exclaims to her grown up friend while nuzzling her. "I was worried."

"I got my children's trick-or-treating done earlier, so I managed to teleport myself here." Megan said with a smile to Celestia.

"Megan, hey," Twilight said while nuzzling Megan right back, "Happy Nightmare Night."

"Thanks, Twilight." Megan said as she hugged the purple unicorn, "Nice costume."

"Thanks to you," Twilight said while motioning to Ben. "Megan, I like you to meet the love of my life, Ben Mare."

"Hi." Ben Mare said sheepishly to Megan. "Mom told me all about you. You are considered to be her adopted mother."

"Who's your mother?" Megan asks Ben curiously wondering what he meant by the last part. The stallion smiles as he motions to Celestia, much to the human's surprise, "Celestia? You have a colt???"

The alicorn giggled as she replied with a nod, "An adopted colt, to be precise."

"It's kinda a long story, but it involves a rival of mine turning me into a monster, a long exile, reunion with Twilight and all that." Ben said while scratching his mane. "But...it was worth the pain, so to speak."

"I also must introduce you to my own foal, her name is Nyx!" Twilight exclaims to Megan happily. "You will love her. She is a little black alicorn filly."

"Is that her glowing while floating?" Megan asked in concern. The others turned to see Nyx floating; she appears to be glowing red.

"Nyx, get down! You're being rude for your friends' performance in this thing!" Twilight exclaims to Nyx, getting upset.

"There is no Nyx, only me!" Nyx snarls to Twilight in a different voice.

"Okay, you need to knock off the act, little filly." Rarity scolds Nyx. "Now, seriously, let us talk to the real Nyx."

"THERE IS NO NYX, ONLY ME!" Nyx snarls to Rarity, causing her mane to go flying back a bit.

"Oh, no; that voice!" Megan gasped in horror, recognizing the different voice Nyx spoke with.

"I say, she needs to tone down the volume a bit." Rainbow scolds a bit before flying up to pull Nyx down. "Now quiet down! You're making us miss the..."

An explosion occurs, making everyone turns to see that the Frankenstein bot is down. Diamond Tiara frowns as the Mayor announces, "The Cutie Mark Crusaders win!"

The CMC cheers happily for their win. Scootaloo exclaims, "Yeah, all right!"

"Awww, man! See what you made us do, Nyx?!" Rainbow scolds Nyx, not seeing her glow like mad. "You made me miss it! Why..."

Suddenly, Nyx roared as she flew upward, making the activities stop. The ponies turn as they gasps at what's happening.

"Gah," Lyra, dressed like a devil, exclaims in shock.

"What is going on with that filly," Bon-Bon, dressed like an angel, yelps while holding Lyra.

"Yikes! Twilight, Ben! Call me more random than usual, but I think Nyx's possessed!" Pinkie gasps in fear at what's going on with Nyx.

"I think you might be right, Pinkie!" Twilight said in worry.

"Took you long enough, right?" Nyx spoke in the evil voice. "This is what happens when you miss the signs, all of them!"

"What is that freak doing now?!" Diamond Tiara asked in annoyance while glaring at the glowing Nyx. "Is she trying to steal my show again?"

"I think something is taking over Nyx!" Silver Spoon gulps while trembling in fear.

"Oh, bother, don't tell me you're one of those kooks." Diamond Tiara scoffs to her best friend by what she's saying.

"No, Diamond Tiara; I mean it!" Silver Spoon said in fright, "Some kind of evil monster is using Nyx's body!"

"Who are you?" Luna demanded to the one possessing Nyx in anger, "Why are you possessing Nyx's body?!"

"What? Have you forgotten the legends? Does my presence no longer matter to you ponies?! Then perhaps my name will be enough to put fear in your hearts once more!" The possessed Nyx exclaims sinisterly to the ponies. "I am...Tirek the Abomination!.!.!"

"Oh, no," Sweetie Belle cried.

"Not him!!" Megan screamed in fear.

"Okay, guards; seize him...or her...or whatever!" The Mayor exclaims frantically as she rushes up ahead...but turns around and gasps as the Royal Guards with her turned into Changelings, "What?!"

"And I am not alone." Tirek chuckles evilly. Sure enough, some of the ponies changed into their real forms, that of the Changelings. Even one of the guards near Celestia changed into a familiar foe.

"Surprise; Miss me?" Chrysalis taunts her enemies with a cruel laugh.

"Chrysalis," Twilight shouted in anger.

"Great, 'dis night just got more scarier." Applejack groans a bit.

"Chrysalis...what are you doing here?" Celestia demands to Chrysalis angrily. "And why are you with Tirek?"

"Tirek the Abominable is my master." Chrysalis said as she bows to the evil centaur possessing Nyx's body.

"Wait, what?" Phobos ask a bit confused. "When the...did I miss something?!"

"Try not to let it hurt your head, Phobos." Fluttershy said to Nyx gently while glaring at Tirek.

"I have been their master for some time now." Tirek explains to the villains sinisterly. "It was me who helped them get into Canterlot to begin the plan of taking it over so they can feed off the love. It was me who assists them in their previous plot."

"Dang it! It's thanks to you that Shining was hypnotized by that evil Changeling Queen and almost destroyed all of Equestria!" Twilight exclaims furiously at the one who started the mess at the Canterlot Wedding like Chrysalis impersonating Cadance in the first place.

"Yes, they all served me in a little exchange: they get all the love they can feed as long as I'm in charge. But you...you ponies went an[ ruined everything twice! Well this time, I shall control those mistakes once and for all."

"By taking over a little filly's body," Megan demands to Tirek furiously. "What are you hoping to gain by doing so?!"

"Ah, yes. The human who saved the ponies from me...the Mag'ne or is it Megan? I can never tell nowadays." Tirek chuckles to Megan evilly. "I waited all this time to avenge myself on you...once Equestria is mine again, you will watch your pony friends die before you beg for death to take you."

"No, not a chance! You have fallen before, and you will so again!"

"If you mean the Rainbow of Light which is now the Elements of Harmony, don't bother! My Changelings Army is spreading throughout Ponyville, even by sky. My magic will make a forcefield within seconds! Now, to answer your question, I took Nyx's body because she was once the essence and hatred of Luna herself. Her powers and memories may be gone, but mine still are...enough to take the filly over..."

"So that's it. You gain Nyx's trust by pretending to be her friend...then take her over when she least suspects it." Luna said furiously, "How can you live with yourself?!"

"Unlike you, Luna, I do not waste time and am not overconfident the second time. I've learned my lesson the last time...perhaps you should've as well. Oh, sorry. You can't." Tirek taunts Luna sinisterly, making the former villaness glares at him.

"Okay, Tirek the Jerk a naught! Get out of Nyx's body and face me like a fighter!" Rainbow snaps as she waves hooves in the air. "I've heard stories about you but I am not afraid to kick your tail to Tartarus and back if I have to!"

Tirek comment to Rainbow Dash, "So you are Firefly's most direct descendant. I am going to enjoy crushing you for what your ancestor and Megan did to me."

"Blah, blah, blah; you're old fashioned, Tirek. Admit it, you should've went to Tartarus and just stay there. The new century can kick your sorry flank big time and we got what we can to prove it!"

"Well, I see that you have Firefly's ego."

"What? I do not have an ego!" Rainbow exclaims in annoyance to Tirek, upset by the insult.

"Yeah, instead she has a robotic double." Pinkie said happily and more randomly.

"Enough of this," Megan said sternly as she stood alongside Celestia and Luna. "You have made us drop our guard, but as you have foolishlly exposed yourself..."

"...just like Chrysalis has done," Celestia said sternly to the evil Tirek possessing Nyx, making Chrysalis glare at her. "We will do what it takes to protect my subjects from you."

One pony scoffs at Celestia, "What are you going to do, suppose you actually do anything this time?" Some of the ponies nod, looking resentful at Celestia.

"What is that about, Celestia?" Megan asks Celestia in concern, not liking the comment.

"There has been some mean critics of my sister, due to her inability to fight me and Discord...as well as fallen to Chrysalis before." Luna explains to Megan with a sigh. "It's kind of a long story."

"Face it! You have an opportunity to stop Tirek before and you failed!" Chrysalis screeches at the ponies and their allies. "You have seen the signs but fail to act!"

"Now be ready to suffer for this night shall be your last!" Seto laughs evilly as Tirek waves a hoof up and shot out something into the sky.

The ponies gasp in shock as some sort of force field appears, spreading throughout the area, covering all of Ponyville and the Everfree Forest. Unlike the ones made by Shining, it's dark and sinister.

"My force field shall keep you all trapped in here...until my Changelings have fed." Tirek said sinisterly while motioning to Chrysalis, "Chrysalis?"

"Attack," Chrysalis roars to the Changelings as the evil ones hiss while preparing to attack the ponies, much to their horror. They are all surrounded.

Lilly yell, "The horror! The horror," The ponies scream as they run from the Changelings. Twilight and her friends look frantically. It's like the invasion of Canterlot all over again.

"Nyx, Nyx! Fight Tirek, please," Twilight pleads to her daughter in worry. "Don't let him take you, please!"

"We can't do anything fer her, Twilight!" Applejack exclaims to Twilight who looks saddened at Nyx. Her daughter is being possessed by a monster from centuries past, being controlled like a puppet. It's not fair!

"We must escape!" Megan exclaims as she got onto Celestia, the two prepares to make their escape. "But how are we going to..."

"Leave it to me...Ben!" Celestia exclaims to her son sternly.

"Right, monster," Ben exclaims as he begins to glow. Suddenly a flash appears, covering the entire area.

When the flash disappears, the Changelings looks confused as the ponies and their friends have disappeared, gone from sight. Tirek roars in fury, "What is this; Where did they go?!"

"Uh...I give up. What's our prize?" Fred asks Tirek in confusion, making Ed laughs stupidly.

"Idiots," Seto groans a bit at the idiot Changelings. "Apparently, those ponies have teleported out of here; But how?"

"Maybe they teleported away from Ponyville," Chrysalis said with a frown; Great, just great. Her enemies has escaped once more, obviously ready to make the next move.

"No, nothing can get by the forcefield. They must either be in Ponyville or in the Everfree Forest. Find them. Absorb the love, fear and misery if you have to...but bring Megan, the princesses and the new holders of the Elements of Harmony to me. Beat them all to the inch of their life if you have to...I want to end their existence on Equestria personally for my defeat years ago. If I had my Rainbow of Darkness, I would turn those ponies into evil dragons, but for now..." Tirek exclaims to Chrysalis sternly and sinisterly. Vengeance will be his and soon, all of Equestria once more.

"Yes, I understand. It shall be done."

Tirek watch as his Changelings trot and fly away, looking for the ponies. The villain cringes as his body appears to be struggling. Despite his taking over, Nyx is still inside her body, trying to fight a way. He must put an end to it somehow...and watching Twilight die in front of her would end Nyx's struggling once and for all...

Twilight's eyes open as every pony in Ponyville find themselves in some sort of secret hiding place somewhere in the Everfree Forest. The unicorn asks in sadness to no one, "Nyx?"

"Celestia, where are we?" Megan asks Celestia in concern as she got off of the alicorn. "What is this place?"

"This place has been used against a battle not so long ago." Celestia said seriously to Megan. "It will serve our purpose once more...but we don't know how long."

"Well, while we're done doing 'dat, Nyx is being possessed by a monster fro' generations ago, Changelings are out looking fer us...dang nab it!" Applejack groans as she stomps the ground in frustration. "'Dis is turning out 'ta be one crazy Nightmare Night."

"You know, this comes to show that the princess is also a coward." Another pony remarks while some of the ponies mumble in agreement. "She chose to flee instead of letting that creep ruin our night and take control of a former evil!"

"My little ponies! It is not my sister's fault!" Luna insists to the critics in concern. "We are caught off guarded and are outmatched against the Changelings. It would be foalish to fight them without a plan."

"Celestia would've deal with them, but noooooo!"

"Okay, that's enough, ponies!" Megan exclaims to the critics sternly. "Celestia is not a weakling or a bad princess. Yes, she has some problems like falling to an enemy or not confronting, but Celestia is doing her best! She cares for her subjects and is willing to fall just to keep you all safe!"

"That's right and one thing you also must remember." Ben said as one of his hooves glow, making the critics yelp a bit. "She's my mother! Mess with her and you get the butt kick!"

"Besides...don't we got another problem right now?" Sweetie calls out to the ponies in sadness. "Nyx is being possessed by that monster Tirek! We got to find a way to get that creep out of her!"

"Please? Put 'dis aside fer now? Fer Nyx's sake; Ah know she was once Nightmare Moon...but Nyx once saved us, remember?" Apple Bloom pleads to the critics.

The critics of Celestia sighs but reluctantly leaves for now, deciding to not bother criticizing the princess for now. Megan looks concerned as she asks Luna, "'Once Nightmare Moon'?"

"She was once the chains that bind me...but my sister and Twilight will tell you more." Luna said to Megan in concern. "Right now, we got more pressing business."

"We need an old priest and a young priest!" Pinkie exclaims frantically while galloping around in a circle. "Are there any priests here?!"

"Knowing Tirek, he would go after the princesses, me...and the Mane Six since they are the holders of the Elements of Harmony." Megan said seriously.

"As well as descendants of some of your closest friends," Celestia said with a sigh while glancing to the Mane Six. "You know that Twilight is the descendant of the original Twilight, Rainbow is Firefly's descendant, and Applejack is the descendant of the original Applejack. Fluttershy is the descendant of Posey, Rarity is descended from Sparkler and Pinkie Pie herself is descended from Surprise."

"Huh, weird," Spike said puzzled by the facts being revealed. "I'm surprised that they are descended from different types of ponies."

"Come on! Different pony genetic patterns were past on or taken over when new blood relatives were born." Phobos exclaims mischievously to Spike. "kinda like how the Cakes for Pound and Pumpkin Cake when the parents are two Earth ponies and their kids are an unicorn and a Pegasus pony."

"Going back to Ponyville is not safe. We need the Elements to stop Tirek." Celestia said in concern. "But we may need more than just that. We need to get stuff from The Armory."

"Armory," Some of the ponies ask a bit puzzled.

"Yes. To those that may not know, that is where the machines of war from Lorcan's Brotherhood mechanics, Flim & Flam, made were stored away in case of another war emergency."

"Yes, of course, I just got a plan!" Rarity exclaims with a grin on her face, "As in an idea! Some ponies will have to distract the Changelings while others head to Canterlot, find the Armory to bring forth the mechanical creations to help save Equestria once again!"

"Nice idea, Rarity!" Sweetie exclaims happily. "I want to go to the Armory!"

"Yeah, we want to play with that Gazookis again!" Dinky exclaims happily, the Cutie Mark Crusaders look so eager to use the Gazookis once more.

"As long as a grown-up pony is with you that is." Megan said to the little foals with a giggle. "But can the Changelings take the forms of only ponies?"

"That is yet to be determined at this point." Ben answers Megan with a concerned look on his face. "We don't know how powerful these guys are. And where are King Spykoran and the Dragon Army?"

"They are in hidden places in Equestria. We don't know if they are in the force field or out at this time." Luna said in concern to the ponies. "We can only hope some are inside as we need the help we can get."

"Wait, hang on!" Scootaloo exclaims in realization. "The Armory is in Canterlot...which is outside the force field!"

"Scoots is right!" Apple Bloom exclaims, realizing what her friend is pointing out. "How are we going 'ta git 'de Elements an' 'de machines wit' us in here?"

The ponies look down. With the force field over Ponyville and the forest, it's impossible for a win. Celestia pauses then smiles while saying, "I think I got an idea; Golden Heart!"

Suddenly a familiar voice is heard telepathically, "Princess Celestia. I heard you."

"Yes, you saw what happened from where you're at, correct?"

"I saw the force field from here in Canterlot. What's going on?"

"Who is that?" Bon-Bon asks a bit alarmed at the voice that appeared to have come from out of nowhere.

"Who's talking?" Soarin' ask in alarm and worry.

"That's Golden Heart; he's talking to me telepathically and is outside the force field." Celestia explains to the surprised ponies before continue speaking to Golden Heart, "Golden Heart, I got bad news. The evil known as Tirek has returned....and is possessing Twilight's daughter Nyx right now."

"What? How is that possible? Tirek has been dead for centuries." Golden Heart's voice asks in surprise and disbelief.

"His spirit lives on...and he has allied himself with the Changelings. Listen, we need you to bring the Elements and the machines from the Armory to the edge of the force field. I will send someone there to help."

"Right, will do so."

Eventually, Golden Heart broke contact. Fluttershy looks puzzled as she ask, "'Someone'? You mean one of us, right? But how can we get by..."

"It won't be one of you." Luna said to the ponies much to their surprise. "We can't tell you, trust me. You aren't ready to know."

"Well, I want to know." Megan said sternly to the Royal Sisters, making them a bit nervous. "You aren't keeping secrets from me...I want to meet your new friend."

"Fine...but try to brace yourself."

The door to the library is knocked down as the Changelings came in. Chrysalis trots in while snapping, "This is where Twilight Sparkle and Ben Mare lives. Ransack the place, find them!"

The Changelings quickly begin search the place, tearing the place apart. Seto approaches Chrysalis while saying, "No doing, Queen Chrysalis. No one is here."

"Blast it, where can they be? Tirek is getting impatient."

"Queen, we found something." A Changeling hiss as he brings out some sort of black and spiky book labeled 'Book of Forbidden Spells'. "I recognize this..."

"Yes, so did I," Chrysalis said with an evil grin as she glances at the book. "Tirek will be pleased..."

Megan and her 'daughters' reach a part of the Everfree Forest where they will be safe to speak to the figure alone. The human sighs while saying, "All right, who is this figure who is going to meet Golden Heart at the force field?"

"Celly? Luna?" A figure in the shadows spoke upon seeing them. He notices Megan and frowns. "I thought you were going to meet me alone."

"Yes, I apologize for this but she insisted. This is our friend and the one who taughts us everything we know...Megan." Celestia said to the figure with a smile.

"So, you are the 'Mag'ne', eh? You are prettier and nicer than the legends describe you to be."

"Yes, thank you." Megan said, flattered while giving a curtsy to the guest. "Listen, we need your help..."

"If it involves Tirek, I am willing to do what it takes, as long as no one else sees me. I can't let my presence be known yet." The figure said in concern and worry.

"You won't be seen just yet. This task will acquire secrecy and trickery." Luna explains to the figure, making him smile.

"'Trickery', eh; Now that I can do; Tell me what I must do."

"Where are they?! Why are you wasting my time by not bringing what I ask for," Tirek demands to Chrysalis as she came over to bow to him.

"Please forgive me, but we got a solution to your body problem, along with that of the Rainbow of Darkness." Chrysalis said while motioning to the book that Fred and Ed are carrying, "Seto?"

"Ugh, I hate this book." Fred groans under the weight of the book itself.

"Yeah, it's so...heavy." Ed cringes a bit, keeping himself from collapsing.

Seto clears his throat and begins to read from the book, "'The Body Rejuvenation Spell. This spell which involves carving a stone of one's likeness, followed by an unknown incantation (which allows the soul to enter the body), and while the body is in a large crystalloid from lava which courses it's hot magna in the stone like veins of life. Then when all is done, the crystal will shatter, along with the stone body of the figure in question, and be replace, fresh living once again and all traces of magic return."

"You see? You don't have to be in Nyx's body, Tirek." Chrysalis explains to Tirek with an evil grin.

Tirek pauses then gave a smile on Nyx's face, saying, "Perfect...and the Rainbow of Darkness?"

Seto continues reading, "There is also a spell that brings forth lost items of long forgotten passing of time, to which it's a vile potion where the owner of something lost declares what must be before him, then smashes the vile on the ground. It will release sparkly smoke screen that blinds view. Then hovering from the potion will be the return item in question."

"How pray tell did you find this book?"

"We found it from Twilight's library." Chrysalis explains with an evil chuckle. "Apparently, Celestia must've sent it to her to study or something...or the unicorn has taken the book. Either way, mistake on both of their parts."

"Chrysalis, I am giving you the task of making the spells possible. Once I get my body, then we shall get the Rainbow of Darkness from a sack." Tirek exclaims eagerly. Yes, soon he will have a new body and the Rainbow of Darkness will be here again. "Seto, the rest of you; continue the search!"

The Changelings bow as they trot off. Tirek smiles then frown a bit. Nyx is still trying to fight his control. His body must be made if he is to begin his rule a-new.

The ponies get ready to gear up for a distraction so that Golden Heart and whoever their friend is can get the Elements and machines in to help deal with Tirek and the Changelings. Ben notices Twilight sitting on the ground, looking down in sadness.

"Twilight, honey; what's wrong?" Ben asks Twilight in concern. He saw that she's holding Nyx's glasses, which the mare hasn't given back to Nyx yet when she was changing costumes earlier. "It's about Nyx, is it?"

"I...I fear that I'm losing her, Ben." Twilight sobs sadly as she looks at Ben. "I remembered when I lost her to darkness before and now...I fear that I lost her again, maybe forever."

"Oh, Twilight..." Ben said in sympathy as he comforted his mare-friend.

"I should've done something...I should've taken Nyx to the princesses before...now Tirek has possessed her and..." Twilight sobs while hugging Ben. "Our little filly is gone...I stood there and didn't do a thing! What kind of mother am I to let that happen?!"

"Its okay, Twilight; we will save her. After all, do you still care for our daughter?" Ben asks Twilight gently.

"Of course I care for her." Twilight sniffled.

"Then I promise, I won't rest until Tirek is out of Nyx's body and our little filly is back in our arms again." Ben said to Twilight in determination. The mare sniffs and smiles while nuzzling her.

"Ben, you always know how to cheer me up." Twilight said with a sigh.

"Come on, you two! We got a distraction to make!" Rainbow exclaims to Ben and Twilight as she flew on past. "Hopefully some of us will do the distraction right."

"And maybe, we can find a way to get Tirek out of Nyx's body." Ben said with a smirk, "You ready, Twilight?'

"You bet I'm ready!" Twilight replied with a determined nod.

Pinkie Pie pops out, exclaiming, "Let's go save Nyxie and beat that meanie Tirek for this story's sake!"

King Spykoran lands in Canterlot to catch his breath before heading off to Ponyville for the celebration. As he does, the dragon notices that Golden Heart and his troops are getting stuff out of the Armory.

"Golden Heart," King Spykoran the Old spoke, getting Golden Heart's attention.

"King Spykoran the Old, what an honor to see you again." Golden Heart said while bowing to the king of the Dragon Clans. "Are you on your way to the festivities?"

"Yes, but I stop to take a rest. It's a long flight from the lands to the west. Tell me, why are you getting weapons from the Armory?" King Spykoran asks Golden Heart puzzled. Isn't tonight the last night of the 31 Nights of Nightmare Moon?

"An old enemy from your past has returned, Spykoran." Golden Heart said to King Spykoran seriously. "He has trapped Ponyville and its citizens, along with the princesses in a force field; We are bringing the machines and meet up with someone who could help get us in."

"Old enemy from my past? Who is it?" King Spykoran asks Golden Heart in concern. What enemy could be returning after all these years that the dragon knows of?

"You remember him: Tirek the Abomination." Golden Heart said to King Spykoran seriously.

The old dragon's eyes widen in shock. Tirek has returned? The old Spike's memory goes back to his past with the monster, who tries to harm and punish him if it weren't for Scorpan. Now that evil centaur has returned to attack Equestria a new.

"Golden Heart, I shall help you all out. This is personal." King Spykoran said, clutching a fist. He shall help the ponies fight off Tirek, just to get back at the monster for all the years of what the old dragon has gone through centuries ago.

"Thank you, Your Highness." Golden Heart said as he bowed to King Spykoran, glad that he's going to help the ponies against Tirek.

The Changelings are in troops, looking for their enemies. Unknown to them, a small group of them is watching right now.

"All right, we got to distract these guys so that Golden Heart can get in here somehow with the Elements and the machines." Big Macintosh said with a nod. "Not sure about how he will get by the force field though."

"We will try to distract some other way while Celestia's friend, whoever he is, can get him in." Cheerilee said with a nod, before turning to her group of ponies. "You ponies ready?"

"Ready!" The group of ponies nodded in reply, ready to distract the Changelings.

Pinkie smiles as she got her party cannon out then say quietly, "Ready, aim...FIRE!"

The Earth pony opens fire on the Changelings, sending out decorations and stuff onto the bad guys. They yelp as the ponies rush in, fighting them off.

"Go to red alert!" Ed exclaims to his fellow Changelings in alarm.

Fred looks confused as he ask Ed, "What are you doing?"

"My squad, my rules," Ed said to Fred with a shrug.

Fred frowns as he snaps, "I thought it was our squad. Go to magenta alert."

"There's no such thing as magenta alert." Seto said, a bit annoyed by the Changeling's stupidity as usual.

"Yes there is. It's like red alert, but softer!" Fred insists to Seto, making the consort of the queen slap himself on the forehead.

"Is there an alert for annoying bug whose won't shut the buck up alert?" Seto ask the Changelings dryly.

"Yeah, it's called a 'your face' alert!" Ed exclaims stupidly. Seto slaps him. Fred spits in Seto's eye, making him yelp. Eventually, all three Changelings end up in a sissy fight, slaps, spits, etc. The squadron members shook their heads in disgust.

"Nah, nah," Pinkie exclaims while waving her tail at the Changelings. "You guys can't hit the broad side of a barn!"

"Get them!" Seto orders his troops as they begin their assault on the ponies whose quickly fight them off. The Changelings were a bit startled as this is different than the Canterlot invasion.

During the distraction, Twilight, Ben, Spike, Phobos, Megan and the princesses watch on. Celestia whispers, "Perfect, these ponies will keep them busy until Golden Heart arrives with the Elements and the machines."

"Meanwhile, we must try to get to Nyx." Megan whispers hopefully. "Maybe if we're lucky, Tirek didn't destroy her yet."

"You believe that Nyx is still in there?" Twilight ask Megan hopefully. The mother hopes that her daughter is fighting Tirek's control. "What if..."

"Don't lose faith, my little pony. Your daughter wouldn't give up without a fight and neither should you." Megan said gently while petting Twilight. "She would want you to save her somehow."

"Oh, I hope you're right, Megan." Twilight said as she nuzzled her human friend.

Rainbow flies to the group while saying, "All right, no sign of Tirek in Nyx's body yet, but he should be in town somewhere."

"We must keep searching then. Come on." Luna said as her group heads off to look for Tirek/Nyx.

The ponies kept on with their distraction while Seto and the two idiots try operating a weapon system, but struggle a little. They decided on the tutorial...which is in French along with a French instructor, who teaches them on the instructions while speaking French, confusing the Changelings.

"I hate French!" Seto complains angrily and in frustration.

Pinkie, meanwhile, bounces all over, dodging the Changelings happily. The pink pony teases, "Come on, you slowpokes! Is this how you play tag? Don't you know how to play?"

The Changelings growl as they chase her but the pink pony kept bouncing around, while sticking her tongue out, exclaiming, "Nah nah!"

In a hidden spot, Fluttershy find herself surrounded by Changelings, the Pegasus pony is too scared to use her Stare at the moment. They growl, preparing to suck the fear and misery out of her.

"Please, don't hurt me, please?" Fluttershy ask nervously but scream as they attack...

But then, a shadowy figure jumps in and blasts the Changelings away, his hood fell as he yells, "Fluttershy, run!"

"What?! It's you?!" Fluttershy gasps in shock as she saw the figure's head. "But...but how?"

"Never mind, please don't tell anyone else that you saw my face! I am not ready for the other ponies to know just yet!" The shadowy figure insists while blasting at a Changeling. "Just go, go!"

Taking no second thoughts, Fluttershy nodded and flew off, escaping from the Changelings.

The figure smirks as his claws sparkle, turning to the Changelings while saying, "All right, boys, come to papa..."

While the Changelings are spread throughout Ponyville, looking for their targets or trying to fight them off, their leaders are oddly enough at the Ponyville school where Chrysalis was preparing for some sort of spell.

Tirek was watching, unaware of a familiar group hiding from nearby. Rainbow mumbles, "Weird, why the hay would Tirek be holding out here?"

"I think I know. This is one of Nyx's favorite places." Twilight said with a smile. Nyx loves to hang out at school, despite Diamond Tiara's bullying and the events from before. "Tirek must've taken it without a choice.

"What is Chrysalis doing, sister?" Luna ask, noticing that Chrysalis is preparing a spell in front of a cauldron.

"I don't know...but I think I recognize the book that she has." Celestia said with a frown as Chrysalis is reading through a familiar book. "It's the Book of Forbidden Spells which my Royal Guards had confiscated from Boris home which I send Twilight to study."

"Oh, I'm sorry! Chrysalis and her troops must've stolen it from my library!" Twilight exclaims to Celestia in worry. "Not good, who knows what they could read from in there? Oh! I should've send it back to you when I had the chance!"

"No worries, Twilight. As long as Tirek doesn't find out anything to use, everything shall be fine." Ben said to Twilight with a smile.

"We must wait until Chrysalis is away then somehow strike at Tirek. You think, Twilight, Ben, you could reach to your daughter?" Megan asks the couple hopefully.

"Our daughter appears to be fighting so far, so maybe."

Just then, one Changeling appears, hissing to his leaders, "Masters, the ponies are fighting us off, we're having trouble. We need reinforcements."

"Oh you will, eventually." Tirek said to the Changeling with a chuckle. "Once I get my body back and the Rainbow of Darkness."

"Also, we got reports that someone is going to the force field, some sort of figure in a cloak and hood..."

"Hmm, this requires an investigation. Chrysalis; Keep the first spell going!"

"Yes, master." Chrysalis said as Tirek begins to fly off with the Changelings continuing what they're doing.

"'Body'? 'Rainbow of Darkness'," Phobos asks in concern and confusion. "Okay, I know about the Rainbow of Darkness part but what body?"

"I just remember something: there are two spells in that books, one that can make a new body...and the other that brings forth lost items of long forgotten passing of time, to which it's a vile potion where the owner of something lost declares what must be before him, then smashes the vile on the ground." Twilight said as she recalls what the unicorn herself has read from the book. Then she gasps in horror, "No! Tirek is planning on getting himself a new body!"

"And regaining the Rainbow of Darkness," Luna exclaims in alarm and worry. "We cannot allow this to happen!"

"And that we won't." Celestia said sternly as she trots right out of the hiding. "It's time that Chrysalis and I have our rematch once and for all..."

The guest has taken out the Changelings then heads for the force field. He looks at it carefully then remarks, "Well, if I can take down Shining Armor's force field before..."

"Then you won't again." A familiar voice remarks as Tirek in Nyx's body lands nearby. He glances at the figure up and down, recognizing his face. "Hmm, so you're still alive?"

"Yep. Like you."

"Only Grimmore doesn't know. Why are you not dead?"

"Unlike you, Tirek, I don't act like a coward and uses a filly's body like a puppet." The guest said as he puts his hood back up. "Question is, why did you use Nyx of all ponies?"

"It was Chrysalis's idea. While Nyx's powers were gone, she can access to them without a choice. And as she was once Nightmare Moon, the former evil of Luna, that made her a perfect candidate." Tirek explains to the figure. "Nyx is trying to regain control, but once I kill her mother right in front of her..."

"Oh, I get it. You get control fully...but not on my watch."

"Right, not on yours..."

Tirek fires a blast at the guest who dodges it. The opponent slashes at Tirek but was careful not to go lethally. Nyx is still in that body and Twilight won't be happy if her daughter is killed in the conflict.

The guest knew that he has to take the force field in hopes to get Golden Heart into Ponyville with the Elements and the machines...not so easy, is it?

Chapter 4: The Return of Tirek

The ponies keep on fighting off the Changelings, getting better, chasing them off. But with each Changeling that fell, another comes by.

Another group of the Changelings where coming until they are stopped by a mysterious figure that is blocking their way in the shadows.

"You bugs will wish you never came back." The figure said as she then draws her blade and stands her ground, ready to fight. "Come and get some bugs."

The Changelings hiss as they assault the figure but she jumps around, slashing and kicking some butt. The results are too gruesome and horrible to explain in detail, but let's say those scum never stood a chance.

One Changeling saw what happen to the others that where coming to help hunt the ponies and saw all of them beating down even the stronger ones but not dead and saw the figure still standing. Before he could get away, the Changeling bumps right into the figure. He was about to scream when the figure then puts her hoof in his mouth and says "Shhh wouldn't want you to ruin the surprise and warn Tirek now, do we bug?" With that she hits him in the head and he is out cold. The figure says, "The bugs are dumb and will not remember what has happened."

The figure then sigh, "I hope my friends and Goldie are ok and even the human Megan that I have heard of. I need to think of a nickname for her in later time."

And after that the figure goes into the forest until she could no longer be seen.

Chrysalis smiles sinisterly as she put in yet another ingredient, the whole progress is now a stone. The evil Changeling queen remarks, "Soon, the spell will be complete...and Tirek will be reborn."

"Chrysalis, I doubt that." A familiar voice spoke up, making Chrysalis turn to see Celestia and her group nearby; the Sun Alicorn is glaring at her.

"Ah, Celestia...how nice to see you again...though I wish it was under better circumstances."

"I know what you're up to...I will not allow you to make a body for that monster Tirek. We don't want him back after so many centuries ago."

Chrysalis just laughs a bit while remarking, "You may not want him but us Changelings do! Once Tirek takes all of Equestria, we will have all the love, misery and fear that we want! Plus, if I'm lucky, the master will allow me to co-rule sometime."

"You are a fool! You think Tirek would keep you and the Changelings around?" Celestia demands sternly to Chrysalis. "Tirek would keep you around until he has no further use for you. You are nothing more than pawns to a monster."

"Please. Tirek has respect for us even if we have fail him before. You, on the other hand, he doesn't. You didn't bother to fight your sister and Discord...you couldn't even beat me!"

"I have reasons...and the reason why I couldn't beat you before is because you were super-strength by Shining's love for Cadance. Well, not this time. It's time I put a stop to you and your evil once and for all."

"Then have at it!" Chrysalis hiss as she fires a familiar blast at Celestia who blocks it with her own. The others watch on as the blasts collide.

Both fighters go at it while Ben cheers on, "Go on, mom! Beat that evil witch!"

"Go take her down, Princess!" Twilight exclaims with a smirk on her face. "Be careful that she doesn't beat you this time!"

"Has Celestia fought her before?" Megan asks Twilight in concern upon hearing the last part.

"Yes...but with no love to strengthen her, Chrysalis doesn't stand a chance!"

"Right, this proves that mom isn't a weakling or a coward." Ben Mare said in determination while standing proudly. "My mom will fight to protect those she cares for if she must."

Chrysalis sure enough is having trouble. Unlike the last chance when the Changeling Queen has the advantage, the witch is having major trouble. She didn't have the advantage like the last time.

Chrysalis screams as Celestia head butts her and send a blast at the villainess, sending her away from the school, but not too far. The alicorn lands near her opponent, winning easily this time.

"Without any love to help you, you must give up now." Celestia said sternly to Chrysalis before turning to the stone. "But first, I shall destroy this stone so that Tirek won't return."

Chrysalis hiss as she quickly uses a spell, sending the stone away from Celestia then teleports it. Luna gasps, "No!"

"Oh yes, I send it away from me so I can finish it in peace. I think you better go check on whoever is trying to take down the force field." Chrysalis taunts her enemies sinisterly as she flew off. "He is in danger."

"No..."

Chrysalis flew away, Rainbow is about to chase her when Celestia stops the Pegasus pony, exclaiming, "No! Listen! Rainbow, you, Twilight and Megan goes help the ponies fight off. Luna and I must save our friend!"

"Who is your friend?" Spike asks Celestia in curiosity. The dragon wants to know who is helping the ponies with the force field.

"Never you mind. Only Luna, Megan and I shall know for now. Just go, please!"

With that, the alicorns quickly flew off quickly. Twilight looks worried, fearing that Nyx, whose Tirek is possessing, is at the force field right now. Megan put a relaxing hand on her friend's shoulder, saying, "It's okay, Twilight. Celestia and Luna won't hurt your daughter. They know how important she is to you and Ben."

"I hope you're right." Twilight said with a sigh. She can only hope that the princesses won't be forced to kill Nyx to stop Tirek. If that happens, the purple unicorn will never forgive herself.

The cloaked figure groans as Tirek slams him to the ground, for someone possessing a filly's body. The villain fires a few more blasts at the figure whose dodges him.

"Hmmm, shame you insist on wearing that hood." Tirek remarks to the figure in amusement. "I thought you hated being small."

"I am...but I do not want the ponies and their friends to know that I'm alive...not yet." The figure said to Tirek with a groan. "Just like you, I like to surprise them at the last second."

"What a shame that I must ruin that surprise."

Tirek then rush at the figure and pounds him a few times. He groans in pain, the hooded one is being beaten by someone who was destroyed centuries ago and is in Nyx's body. The figure backs away to the force field.

"If I'm going down, then I won't without success!" The figure slams as he quickly fires a huge blast at the force field...kinda like Lorcan's attack on Shining's force field not so long ago.

Soon the force field begins to crack like mad, going throughout until it breaks, dissolving in thin air.

"The force field is down!" Golden Heart exclaims as he, King Spykoran and the troops saw that the force field is no down. "Time we attack!"

King Spykoran nods as he made a huge roar. Soon familiar dragons, whose used to be parts of Lorcan's army, appears. The Dragon King orders, "My fellow dragons, it's time to save Ponyville and Nightmare Night from the most legendary of evils! Redeem yourselves for your mistakes!"

The troops and dragons charge to Ponyville with the machines ready to be used.

"Well, well, whatcha think now, Tir-nerd?" The figure taunts but was stabbed in the side by Nyx's order via Tirek.

"I think it's time for you to face your demise at last for that stunt, dragon." Tirek hiss furiously at the groaning figure. "FAREWELL!"

"No!" A familiar voice exclaims angrily as a blast of wind knocks Tirek away from the figure. Luna, in rage, appears with Celestia standing nearby. "Celly, take the guest and run!"

Celestia nods as she takes the figure and flies off with him, getting away from Luna and Tirek. The two fighters remain, glaring at each other.

"Princess Luna." Tirek said with a sinister chuckle, "How appropriable of you to show up...and to die on your most famous of Equestrian holidays."

She say. "Tirek, let Nyx go! It's me you want not her!

"Oh, I will...once all is in preparations. Then, your sister, the Mag'ne and your allies will be executed by my orders."

"I know of the spell that Chrysalis is working on! You will not succeed...we won't let you. You will fail, just as you did before!"

"Overconfident, just like your sister; I like that! Have at you!" Tirek laughs as he prepares to fight Luna by getting into position. "Hope you don't mind fighting a filly who is the daughter of one of those who saved you."

Luna frowns, fearing that Nyx would be hurt severely. But she must fight to stop Tirek...and hopefully the alicorn can get him out of the filly's body without harming or killing her.

Meanwhile, we see the battle against Tirek is going on, but the question is that this was only being seen through a magical portal image. And the one who was watching it sat in his throne observing the battle, seeing the ponies struggle against the newest foe. This was none other than Grimmore, the Overlord King as he looks somewhat in a surprise shock, but tried to keep his expressions in check.

"So....he has return, this is truly a shocking surprise." Grimmore rubbed his chin in seeing this action taking place outside the gates of Tartarus.

"My lord; what troubles you?" Ji-Ga-No spoke from hovering nearby as he senses something disturbing his lord.

"And old villain from ages pass has returned my general and it is none other...than Tirek the Abomination." Grimmore spoke diligently in addressing the matter, the return of one of the ponies' oldest foes.

"You can't be serious! He was destroyed by the Mag'ne long ago!" Ji-Ga-No spoke off in utter disbelief that Tirek has somehow come back.

"That's the funny thing. Bodies maybe turn to dust, but spirits are a tricky sort." Grimmore spoke off from noticing the outcome of the battle happening, Tirek was just a soul without a body. "I have wondered some time why he was never within Tartarus and it proves he was slowly planning his return!" The Overlord King exclaimed the cause of reason why such a villain was never seen in this prison and this was the answer.

"Then we mustn't waste time! Send me and I'll personally GRINDE him to the bone!" Ji-Ga-No came up to his master and humbly suggests that he, the most brutal general, go to face and annilate this enemy.

"Wait!" Grimmore held up his left hand as he saw something happening within the viewing portal. "Frsisivhmm..." The magical portal image changed with a glowing red and soon showed forth the image of...a familiar human woman that the ponies recall from legends. "Well-well, another blast from the past has shown up...the very first human of another plain that defeated Tirek has returned." Grimmore spoke with interest to see that someone else has shown up, the one known by the legendary Mag'ne, or otherwise known as Megan, is back.

"The Mag'ne is there too? Then it's all the more reason we must strike!" Ji-Ga-No responded a bit more surprised to hear this and suggest they need to act.

"Patience, my general, I do agree, we can't let such an opportunity go by. Fate has given us the key and for my own plan to play out its act, I'll need the one from legends...the Mag'ne." Grimmore spoke in foreseeing how he can turn what is happening into a work of his own plot for future planning. "I summon you into my chambers! Come to me, my minions! Black Clays," The Overlord King held up his arms and bellowed his voice around as he was calling for the minions of his choice.

Suddenly, something was seen slipping across the ground floors, some fast, others a bit slow and some even leaped up. They were a liquid that moved so steadily until they reached the throne of where Grimmore and Ji-Ga-No were. Then the next moment started to happen as these were no ordinary liquid puddles.

"Wraaaugh-Ruuuaaaruuugghhhh," These liquid things were stretching themselves up, and made an eerie sound and soon took shape. They were now black liquid-base clay creatures with no feet, height about 10 feet tall. They took human shape with long arms, bald heads and they have no eyeballs or color. They also appear muscular and had a red 'Y' symbol on their chest fronts. These were some of Overlord King's troops from the Grimmore Army; The Black Clays. Their known abilities are from scaling and sticking to any surface, even the ceiling, without feet, they are quick and agile to stroll across any surface. They can take any shape as they use their bodies to form weapons like arm whips, become big puddles of glop to press their heavy weight on anything and to change into some form of a disk to gather energy's of magic to unleash a strong force on an opponent for damage result. The hardest in facing these creatures is that without much strong force will repel their targets off, only stronger strength or fearsome attacks of magic will manage to weaken them.

"Hmm, excellent; Where is your captain?" Grimmore smiled in seeing his troops are here, and now wonders where the captain is.

"Right here," One Black Clay came forth from the others, this one wore blue shoulder pads and a helmet with spike off the middle sides, and wears a white neck-band with a golden emblem with the letters 'G' & 'M', standing for his master, "Captain Clay, reporting to you, my lord!" The captain of these troops saluted with upmost respect to his master and lord.

"Frsusvhmm...." Then from Grimmore's left hand was magically carved crystal with a halo ring in the center. "Take this Halos Crystal! And when you get the chance, place it within the Mag'ne's belongings, make it be noted that it's a gift from the ponies to alue suspicion." The Overlord issued out his orders before the item in question floated down to Captain Clay's hands.

"Yes my liege. Alright troops, let's get going, we have an objective!" Captain Clay bowed in full understanding and soon turns to his troops with orders of their mission.

"Yeeaaahhh," The Black Clays cheered and pumped up their hands before they slipped on out of the room…to complete their mission objective.

"Hmm-hmm-hmmm, using those that are so conspicuous to hide within the smallest of places and in the darkest of night, as mere clay puddings is intriguing." Ji-Ga-No chuckled wickedly in seeing his master's plan, the Black Clays will do well in this stealth approach part of their objective, all eyes won't know of their presence, which makes it perfect for Grimmore's side. "But what was that trinket you gave them?" The Metallix Dragon asked in not fully understanding the point of making a gift for the Mag'ne if she's return once more.

"When the Mag'ne returns to her home, it'll act as a beacon, allowing us to find her." Grimmore slowly stated in what his little 'gift' is for to locate any of those it's with and their location.

"And if someone realizes its power?" Ji-Ga-No asked with a sudden ponder, if someone should learn of what that crystal can do, what then?

"Hardly, I crafted it to be so much of a normal crystal, that even the Royal Princesses themselves or even their friend Golden Heart couldn't tell it possesses magic." Grimmore spoke with a sly smile before looking to the portal image of the battle going on while explaining the ideal point of the Halos Crystal and it's purpose. "And when the time is right, it will be used when on the other side." The Overlord King declared with much confidence, the Halos Crystal shall be used on the place Megan comes from and by that time, no one will know of the truth until the timing.

"And should Tirek manage to win and kill the Mag'ne, what then," Ji-Ga-No asked with wonder if his lord's plan to use the Mag'ne fail because Tirek might kill her in the process.

"Hmph, less difficulty for me to bother, but we needin' worry." Grimmore remarked off with a not too worried expression as he has all things under control. "All in all, the events ahead cannot be change, no matter who is around." Grimmore spoke with such confidence in knowing all goes according to his plan. "After all, I have eyes all around, and even within Equestria, another plot thickens." The Overlord King decreed forth with a sly smirk coming from his expression as if sounding so sure.

Things went quickly silent from there with the eyes of the Overlord King before they faded and in another small part…we almost could sworn we saw eyes from behind a hooded cloak figure. But then all things went blank as if leaving this mystery to solve for another time. As for right now, the main focus is on the threat of Tirek.

The Changelings growl as they turn the tide with some new members. Seto roars out, "Kill them all!.!.!"

Suddenly, a blast knocks some of the Changelings aside. Sure enough, there's laser shots coming from the Scoot Falcon 4300.

"Look, its Golden Heart and the army!" Caramel exclaims as Golden Heart and company arrives on the scene.

"And the dragons, too," Bon-Bon exclaims as the Dragon Army arrives.

"Take no prisoners...and I mean the Changelings!" Golden Sword orders the troops and dragons as they begin joining in the fight against the Changelings.

"Yay; It's Garoozis!" Sweetie exclaims happily as they quickly got onto a dragon's back.

"Fly us up there, will yew?" Apple Bloom asks the dragon. He nods and flies the CMC up to the thing before they got up. "Time fer us 'ta take Garoozis into action!"

"Yeah," Twist exclaims happily as the fillies and colt got into the thing.

Twilight, Ben, Rainbow and the dragons rush onto the scene. The purple mare smiles a bit as Golden Heart appears. She exclaims, "Golden Heart! You're here! Did you get the Elements?"

"Yes, Twilight. I got them right here." Golden Heart said as he held up a familiar box with his magic.

"Good. Then hopefully, the Elements can zap Tirek right out of Nyx." Ben said seriously.

"We just found out that Tirek has recruited the Changeling Queen into making a new body for him!" Spike explains to Golden Heart frantically.

"Chrysalis has escaped to who knows where in Ponyville to finish the spell...and the princesses went off to save a friend of theirs." Megan said to Golden Heart in concern. "We can only hope that they can tire Tirek out so the Elements can be used to take him out of Nyx."

"Then we must get to where Chrysalis is fast before Tirek makes his full return!" Golden Heart said determinedly.

Twilight comment, "Okay, girls, for some reason I can't resist saying this - Let's get dangerous!"

The girls and their friends join in fighting off the Changelings. Hopefully, they can force one of these guys to tell them where Chrysalis is.

Celestia found a hiding place where he put down the beaten figure. She asks her friend, "Are you all right?"

"Never better," The figure said, groaning a bit. "Is the force field down? Are the machines and Elements in?"

"Yes, they are." Celestia said with a sigh of relief. "You did it, though you almost got killed while doing so."

"Anything to make up for my own sins," The figure said with a groan. "I feel like I was close to dying there."

"Shhhh," Celestia said, comforting the figure. "There, there, it's all right. Did you remember when I use to foal-sat you when you were little?"

"Celestia, I remember..." The figure said with a sigh. "I remember how you take care of me...now it's my turn to take care of you. Go out there, your subjects need you."

"I don't know...after all, some of them still see me as a coward, a fool and...a worthless princess." Celestia said, looking down in sadness.

"Remember our talk the other day? Yeah, you have some bad times but you aren't worthless." The figure points out to Celestia. "As long as you still care for your subjects and willing do whatever it takes to save them...you are no coward."

Celestia kept looking down, but after taking the figure's words into consideration, she raised her head up with a determined look on her face as she said, "You're right. I do care for my subjects, and I will save them no matter what they think of me."

"Then get going, I will take care of myself. I did before." The figure insists to Celestia. "Hurry, even your granddaughter needs you."

Celestia nods as she flew off. The figure is right; another innocent life is at stake here: her own granddaughter who is being possessed by that monster of centuries past. Nyx must be saved.

Luna dodges an attack by Tirek who fires a huge wave at her. The possessed filly taunts, "Nice day for shooting ponies, ain't it? Heh, here I am making a joke and I don't normally do that!"

"Don't be a fool! I must stop you!" Luna snaps as she fires a blast at Tirek who blocks it with his own, "Even if I have to risk hurting my half sister to do so!"

"You are a joke, Luna. Centuries ago, from what I remember during my spirit form, you were the terror known as Nightmare Night. Now...you're nothing more than a whiny filly who would be lucky to get out of bed every night." Tirek taunts Luna in amusement.

"I may once been Nightmare Moon...but only because of the jealously and hatred in my heart..." Luna remarks with a frown to the villain. "I made some mistakes in my life but letting you stay in Nyx's body won't be one of them!"

"BWA HA HA HA! So what are you going to do, Loony?" Tirek taunts Luna sinisterly. "Do a cute little dance? Turn candy into gold?"

"I am going to do whatever I can." Luna snaps as she flies right at Tirek, but yelps as the villain made a wardrobe appear from who knows where, slamming the alicorn to a building, "Argh!"

"What do you think of that classic, Loony?" Tirek remarks to Luna in amusement.

"Never call me Loony! I only let one person call me that." Luna said with a cringe as she fires a blast at Tirek who blocks it with his own then charges through it, "What?!"

Luna screams as Tirek head butts while hitting her with her own attack, sending her crashing to the ground.

"And here I thought you were going to be a challenge. Why don't you give up?" Tirek remarks to Luna who got back to her hooves.

"I cannot. Everyone...even my sister...depends on me." Luna said while coughing a bit.

"Amazing; you are stubborn like some ponies I know." Tirek said in amusement as he prepares for another strike.

The Changelings appear to be on the run. Fred and Ed kept on firing their weapons when a familiar unicorn lands near them; the two Changelings yelps, "Gah; Oh no!"

"Oh yes. I haven't forgotten how you two idiots brainwash me and impersonated me during the Canterlot Wedding incident!" Twilight snaps sternly to Fred and Ed. "You made me say those horrible things, even though it was a fake Cadance at the time, and when your queen was defeated, one of you nitwits even try to impersonate me to take over the kingdom for your queen!"

"You gotta admit, we came close with each try!" Fred protests to Twilight nervously.

"Yeah, real close!" Ed agreed, also nervous about Twilight and her anger.

"Yeah...well, guess what?" Twilight asked the Changelings as she goes into her rage form. "No one makes a fool in front of me, my friends and my family, getting away with it as well!.!.!"

"Run, run, run," The Changelings screams as they run off from the angry Twilight.

"Twilight, Twilight, you scared them off, honey." Ben said to Twilight with a chuckle. "Turn off the fire."

Twilight shrugs as she 'turns herself off', going back to normal while saying, "Sorry. What those two did to me, I have never forgotten."

"Yeah, so I noticed." Ben Mare said to his love with a chuckle as the two rush in to attack.

"HEEHAW," Applejack exclaims as she uses some rope to tie down some Changelings, "Git along, little changing doggies!"

"Rabbitchu, I choose you!" Fluttershy exclaims as she send the yellow rabbit/mouse robot at the Changelings. "Use Thunderbolt...uh, please?"

The yellow hybrid robot then unleashed a thunderbolt on some Changelings.

"Good boy." Fluttershy said to the yellow hybrid robot, making him smile to her.

"Say hello to my Party Cannon!" Pinkie giggles as she uses her Pinkie Cannon to shoot out Nightmare Night stuff at the Changelings, "Happy Nightmare Night!"

"Dragon Rage," Spike roars as he shoots out an energy blast from his mouth, sending a lot of Changelings through the wall. "Whoa! That's more awesome than before!"

"Whoa, watch out, Twilight!" Rainbow exclaims in alarm as a huge Changeling is about to attack her...but a familiar blast appears, knocking him aside.

"Princess/Mom," Twilight and Ben exclaims at once as Celestia joins in on the battle.

"Princess, we have them on the run. Where's Luna?" Golden Heart ask the princess in concern.

"Fighting off Tirek so I can help our friend escape," Celestia said, giving a nod to Megan who nods right back. "Have you found Chrysalis yet?"

"I don't know; we were busy fighting to...wait, hang on." Golden Heart said as his ears pick up something, "Yes, I can hear her!"

"Where is she?" Twilight demanded, wanting to know where the Changeling Queen is so she could give her a pounding.

"She's right over..." Golden Heart said, heading over to a direction. "...there."

"Of course, that's where Nyx was turned into Nightmare Moon." Celestia said, recalling the area where the cult has changed Nyx into Nightmare Moon that time ago. "We must get up there before the spell is done."

"Yeah and fast," Ben said urgently and angrily, "I will not let a legendary beast from Tartarus harm my daughter!"

"Neither will I!" Twilight agreed, feeling the same way as her colt-friend.

"Crashfire, can you make us a path?" Rainbow calls over to Crashfire who send out flames at a Changeling.

"You got it, Rainbow Dash!" Crashfire replied before he gets on his hind legs and puts his front hooves together as he shouted, "KAMEHAMEHA!!" Then the red unicorn launched a giant beam that sent a bunch of Changelings flying out of the way, "METEOR BLAZE!!" As Crashfire shouted that, he conjured up a big fireball and lets it fly before more Changelings get hit by the attack and knocked aside. "RAINBOW ETHEREAL BLAST," Finally, with the use of his horn, the red fighting unicorn launched a rainbow-colored beam that sent yet another bunch of Changelings flying, enough to make a path for Twilight, Ben and the others to use.

"Okay, thanks, Crashfire!" Rainbow exclaims as the Mane Six, Megan, Ben, Spike, Phobos and Celestia started going down the path their friend made, "Happy Nightmare Night, BTW!"

"Same to you, pal!" Crashfire said before he resumed fighting the Changelings that surround him.

Luna and Tirek continue butting heads. The alicorn got the advantage by zapping her opponent in a cage.

"Don't bother trying to escape!" Luna snaps to Tirek sternly. "There's no escape from this cage. And if I want to, I would crush you instantly."

"But if you do, you will kill Nyx and her mother won't like that, would she?" Tirek remarks Luna with a sinister taunt.

"True, but I am willing to take that chance. If I have to scare you out, then so be it."

Luna prepares to close the cage, preparing to crush Tirek even if she must destroy Nyx to do so. The villain laughs as he glows with a bright light, breaking the cage.

"Regardless of your threat, I can take whatever you throw at me." Tirek remarks to Luna sinisterly but got hit by another blast.

"Again, I am taking that chance!" Luna snaps to Tirek as she flies in after him, resuming the fight.

Chrysalis smirks evilly at the glowing rock. It is almost done, now for the incantation...

"Chrysalis," Megan is heard as Chrysalis turns to see the ponies, dragons and the Mag'ne rushing to the scene. "Give up! We cannot allow you to give Tirek another body!"

"What makes you think you can stop me this time?" Chrysalis taunts Megan sinisterly. The Mane Six stood in front of her, along with Ben, all ready to fight her. "Oh yes. This again; you all have been fun but Nightmare Night isn't over just yet."

"Indeed it hasn't." Celestia said sternly as she trots forward. "I have beaten you once so unless you want another rematch, give up now!"

"I like to see you try to stop me now!"

The group prepares to attack when something crash in front of them. It's Nyx...or rather Tirek in the alicorn filly's body! He got up groaning as Luna lands nearby, still preparing to battle.

"Tirek, release yourself from my daughter's body right now!" Twilight demands to Tirek in determination. "We got you surrounded!"

"Right and let's just say you messed with the wrong friends and family, creep!" Spike remarks in determination. Tirek groans a bit as his enemies prepare a stand against him. The villain's body is getting weak. He needs that stone done now!

"Tirek; your body is ready!" Chrysalis calls out to Tirek. The villain glances and saw a stone of his likeness, all ready for him.

"FINALLY," Tirek roars. He quickly uses a spell to cast a wall of fires, blocking his enemies from him.

"No! He's blocking us!" Megan exclaims as the ponies try to knock down the barrier.

"Chrysalis, hurry; Do the spell before they get through!"

Chrysalis didn't waste time as she quickly performs an unknown incantation. Tirek growls as his soul leaves Nyx's body. The filly groans as she fell to the ground unconscious. The heroes gasp in shock as they saw Tirek's soul entering the stone. The body is in a large crystalloid from lava which courses its hot magna in the stone like veins of life.

"No! We got to stop him!" Phobos exclaims as he fires a fire blast at the barrier, making it harder, "Oh, duh; Wall of flames, fire blast; dumb idea!"

Suddenly a big storm cloud appears, much to the heroes' worry. Rainbow exclaims, "Not cool! For once, that isn't ours!"

Soon lightning appears, getting the attention of everyone and everything in Ponyville and the Everfree Forest. The Changelings, sensing that the time is near, quickly rush off, preparing for the big moment.

"What's going on?" Matelda ask Jakk and the others in concern. She doesn't like where this is going at all!

"'Dis is bad!" Apple Bloom exclaims in terror at the lighting storm. "Something's coming!"

Megan's group meanwhile can only watch as the barrier finally fell down...but the body's crystal form begins to shatter and breaks, along with the stone body...but something is there as well: a familiar form of a villain from ages pass, fresh living once again and all traces of magic return, both body and magic are stronger than ever...a certain evil monster...

Tirek breathes in some air and laughs sinisterly. At least, he has returned and Eternal Night has come!

The guest can watch what's going on from within his hiding place, groaning in worry, "Great! Just b-e-a-utiful; First me, now Tirek," The figure turns to us. This has been a weird bucking day, people."

Tirek chuckles as his Changelings came to him. Seto bows while saying, "Master Tirek..."

"Raise, Seto. No need to bow. There's no need to right now." Tirek said to Seto with a cruel chuckle. He saw Megan and her pony allies look at him with frowns. "Well, speechless? That's like I like to see in my future subjects and/or victims."

"Yeah, well I don't know about the victims but the subjects are sure as hay not happening." Rainbow remarks to Tirek dryly.

"Is this Tirek, Megan?" Ben Mare asks Tirek, noticing an angry look on the Mag'ne's face.

"Yes, it is. I know that form anywhere." Megan said sternly and angrily. "I have never forgotten a face of evil after so many years of facing him as a girl."

"Shame that you are the only one from centuries past to do so; and it looks like we're about to get some...new guys." Tirek remarks as he saw the ponies of Ponyville coming over to see what's going on.

"Talk about déjà vu." Spike mumbles in concern. When something like this has happened, Nyx has transformed into Nightmare Moon. Now it looks like another monster has risen.

"What...is that?" The Mayor gasps in shock at the form of Tirek. "Is...is that Tirek?"

"Just like in the stories," Sweetie gulps as she and her friends huddle one another, all of them are trembling in fear. If this is Tirek, then the ponies are in major danger.

"Ooooh muffins," Derpy said in concern, then seeing her daughter Dinky hiding behind her, "It's okay, Dinky. Everything's going to be all right."

"Don't lie to the filly, Derpy!" Time Turner exclaims to Derpy in alarm. "This is Tirek the Abomination of centuries past."

"Yes, it has been centuries ago since I was ruler of all you see back then...and now thanks to my allies the Changelings, it has happened once again." Tirek explains to the worried ponies as he motions to the Changelings, giving them credit for a hand in his return.

"We live to serve." Chrysalis said slyly while bowing to Tirek. The villain then smirks sinisterly at the frowning Celestia staring at him right now. He knows whom else to give credit for his return as well, since it involves a certain book that the Changeling Queen has used to make this all possible.

"And I must thank you Celestia for giving your student the book that made it possible as well."

"What!" The critic exclaims in anger. "Way to go, princess. Not only are you a crappy princess, but you doomed us all!"

"Don't talk to the princess that way!" Twilight exclaims furiously at the critic for acting that way to her mentor and aunt in law.

"Come on, get with it! The princess is worthless! She has eyes all over, the alicorn didn't bother to do anything to stop her sister or Discord...Celestia even gave up your daughter to that cult that almost doomed us with Eternal Night! Hay, she didn't even listen to your words of warning when the Changelings invaded Canterlot before and even when their queen was revealed, she got taken down! And now, the so-called princess didn't even do anything to stop Tirek this time!"

The argument was really good as to why the bashers hate Celestia that even the rest of the Mane Six have doubts. Another pony snaps at the princess, "Yeah, thanks for dooming us, Princess!"

But the angry Ben Mare yells out, "Shut up! Just shut up! It's not mom's fault! When it comes to Aunt Luna, only the Elements could save her and she didn't have the connection. As far as Discord is concerned, even mom knows that her and Aunt Luna's power isn't enough to stop him! Also, my mother didn't even know that the cult tricked her into giving my daughter to them in the first place! And as far as the Canterlot invasion has gone, hey, mom treated Cadance like a daughter and took offensive by Twilight's charges...and also, even mom has bad luck! You can't blame my mother for having bad moments! I have them too!"

Twilight comment, "It was actually MY fault for holding on to the book for too long. Don't hold it against Celestia."

"Oh yes...it seems that there are some critics of the princess Celestia..." Chrysalis said with a sinister chuckle as she floats a potion over to Tirek. "Luckily, I got this made..."

"No!" Luna gasps as she tries to flies in but some of the Changelings jump in the way, knocking her down.

"Thank you! And now, Rainbow of Darkness, return!" Tirek roars as he throws the vial onto the ground. It releases a sparkly smoke that blinds the view before something hovers from the potion: a black sack. "Yeeees."

"Crud, look out! It's the Rainbow of Darkness!" Big Macintosh exclaims in yelp. He has read stories of Tirek the Abomination and knows how to identify the Rainbow of Darkness. Some of the ponies tremble in fear, knowing the deadly power of the sinister rainbow.

"Ah, so you all remember the legend. Now let's see if the Rainbow of Darkness has lost its touch, shall we?!"

Tirek opens the sack, causing a sinister familiar rainbow to come out of the sack. Megan's group gasps in worry but notice that the rainbow isn't coming to them...it's coming right at Celestia's critics!

"Look out!" Pinkie screams but it's too late, the Rainbow of Darkness hits four of Celestia's critics, including the one who spoke out against her. The four ponies scream as they begin to transform...

The ponies near the transformation area gasps and move away as four black dragons appear, roaring evilly. But it won't end there…the Rainbow of Darkness flew around elsewhere. The good guys saw a few more creatures appearing: more dragons and dark warriors, just like centuries ago! Tirek smirks in triumph as the Rainbow of Darkness has returned to his sack. After so many centuries, the deadly power is still effective.

"Oh yes, everything is going into place...my new body, Rainbow of Darkness and dragons. Eternal Night shall be spread for real...and this time, there's no hope of stopping me." Tirek announce to the ponies and their allies. The evil villain chuckles at the unconscious Nyx, pushing her with one of his hooves. "What a pity. Such a fine little filly...she was a good vessel up to now..."

"Leave her alone!" Twilight exclaims in fury to Tirek who glances up at her,"Stay away from my daughter, you monster!"

"Oh yes...Twilight Sparkle, Nyx's mother. You are one of the most powerful unicorns in Equestria, correct? I would transform you into a dragon...but I got all I need so maybe I can cut your throat instead."

"Leave her alone!" Applejack snaps to Tirek, snorting at the villain. "Yew gotta go through us! If Ah recall mah family's history right, yew changed mah ancestor the original AJ into one o' them dragon things. So consider this payback fer 'de Apple Family!"

"And if my ancestor Firefly can kick your tail, so can I!" Rainbow exclaims, throwing hooves into the air.

"Right; you messed up our last night of Nightmare Night party, mister!" Pinkie snaps sternly as she got her party cannon out. "No one does that to us, NOT EVEN A SUPER DUPER CENTURIES OLD MEANIE LIKE YOU!"

"Yes, leave...uh, please?" Fluttershy ask meekly to Tirek as she and Rarity stood against him.

"Ponies, stay out of this." Celestia said to the Mane Six as she and Luna step towards the monster of Dream Valley. "I must do what I can to keep our subjects safe, if to prove to them all that I am not a coward or a weakling. That critic's words may be uncalled for, but he is right in some parts."

"Correct, and we haven't finished our fight, Tirek." Luna said to Tirek who glares at her and Celestia. "It's time we finish it."

Tirek comment to Celestia and Luna, "In an odd way, I'm GLAD Chrysalis and her minions failed to kill you two. That will give ME the extreme pleasure of crushing the two of you myself, thereby concretely proving my power beyond any reasonable doubt."

"They won't fight you alone, Tirek!" A familiar roar to everyone else as a familiar old dragon appears, landing right in front of Tirek. King Spykoran glares at the one who used to torment him when he was the original Spike, who changed his good friend Scorpan into a monster up to Tirek's demise. "Remember ME, Tirek?"

"Not really. But the fact such a powerful-looking dragon remembers ME IS quite flattering."

"I was your baby dragon slave more than a thousand years ago."

Tirek pauses to think and laughs. Now he remembers...that litle dragon from centuries ago.

"Oh, yeah; I remember you NOW, Spike." Tirek taunts the original Spike to his own amusement.

"It's King Spykoran now, villain." King Spykoran snaps at Tirek angrily.

"You HAVE moved up in the world, haven't you? All grown up and looking for settle old scores I see."

"We finish this NOW."

"Couldn't agree more," Tirek said with a nod, agreeing with King Spykoran somewhat. "Finishing you AND the two Princesses on my own will establish me as a force to truly be feared; by ponies and dragons alike."

"Okay, every pony except Celestia and Luna stay out of this. This is between us and Tirek." King Spykoran orders everyone sternly even the dragons. The Dragon King and his old friends shall deal with Tirek once and for all and in their own way as well.

"Yes, yes, we shall...but don't let us have all the fun." Tirek remarks sinisterly as he turns to the Changelings, "Chrysalis, everyone, time to feed on the ponies."

"Yes, finally,' Fred and Ed exclaims eagerly as the Changelings prepare to attack the ponies with the dark dragons not the ponies and the dark warriors joining in.

"Oh not this again," Spike exclaims a bit in alarm.

"This day keeps getting so much better." Phobos remarks sarcastically as it looks like a full out war is about to happen again, this time here in Ponyville.

Soon, something was coming up from beyond a point near edge part of the area, creatures that no one has ever seen before were walking up like some form of marching troopers. They were big, harry beast about 25 feet tall, basic muscle in their guts, yellow eyes and come out in many colors of purple, yellow, red, green, and blue for their fur bodies and lighter hair on their heads and backs. They just seem to wear brown blithe for feet, black cloths for the body with rope around their waistlines, some have gray wristbands and others have dome shape helmets for their heads. They wield from giant clubs, axes, mallets, and maces as carrying arsenal in full use to their brutal strengths by the looks of their situation.

"Ogres; But how are they...Grrrr, Grimmore!" Golden Heart responded in recognizing the creatures as Ogres, and from shocking surprise to angerly growls in knowing 'who' had something to do with this. "He's somehow managed to create a portal spell magic to bypass the Gates of Tartarus' field that kept prisoners kept in check! Just perfect," The pony moans and groans in realizing that just one major enemy wasn't enough, now Grimmore is mixing it up.

"What are those things?" Caramel asked off in noticing that the heroes got some trouble moving in all too sudden.

"Ogres; they are usual more muscle then brains and can't think very clearly except to follow orders. But most times, they get a few things messed up when their targets take into using smarts against such dense foes." Golden Heart explained off what the creatures coming at them are and some facts to their strengths...to weakness. "Listen, we need to do just that, trust me." This pony stated to the others around that they have to defeat the enemy with not just brute force, but with intelligence too.

"Okay, if ya gone an' say so." Tough Apple shrug off his shoulders in hearing this pony give him orders.

The Ogres soon saw their targets ahead, and soon began to act a bit.

"Looky-looky, ponies dead ahead!" A yellow Ogre pointed to notice the ponies are ahead of them.

"Um, what we do when find them?" A red Ogre rubbed his finger through his lips in being puzzled in what they gotta do again.

"We have orders to fight & stall ponies!" A purple Ogre declared off in stating like the lead trooper of this squad.

"Why stall ponies again?" A green Ogre asked off from rubbing his back head, not getting the idea of what they gotta do.

"Not sure, our lord told us to stall." The purple Ogre shrug off his shoulders in not knowing, Grimmore just gave orders without making it 'too' difficult for these guys to remember or forget.

"Um, okey-dokey," A blue Ogre nods his head happily in agreeing to that statement.

"Ogre Troops; Dugh, CHAAAAARGE," The purple Ogre heads up his index finger in the air, pointed ahead to shout with a serious notion to attack now.

"Waaauughhh..." The rest of the Ogres roared and were off to attack the ponies.

While things with Ponies VS. Changelings, Dark Dragons, Dark Warriors and Ogres was going on, from the shadows, no one say some black goop moving across the bushes. Then those liquid goops were revealed to be clays, which in term shaped themselves to be the Black Clays. As they watched the fight go off while they managed to slip pass the ruckus.

"The Ogres are attacking the ponies Captain." A Black Clay soldier reported to his captain nearby on the matter going on.

"Good, Grimmore wanted some attention to be divided, make the ponies think he wants to move in on the disaster and now no one will suspect what's really going on." Captain Clay smiled in seeing this as he reached to pull out a familiar Halos Crystal as it shimmered a bit from the moon light. "When it's time to leave, we'll use the Gate Gems to leave this place and return to Tartarus." The captain exclaimed from putting the crystal away to show a crimson red gem shaped like demons' likeness. "Let's go!" He turned to signal his men that it's time that they got going.

"Right," The Black Clays saluted to their captain and begin to slip quickly through the trees in the neighborhood, and with the cover of night, no one would see them.

Within the forest a figure is seeing what has happening.

"This is not good but I bet Grimmore knows by now and plan something that cannot be stop by alicorns but nothing about an earth pony." The figure said. She then pulls out a Crystal that looks just like the Halos Crystal. "Even if I fail to stop them from putting it in her belongings, I can at least put this in to make the real one not do well like Grimmore wants. Now I just wait and get ready for when the time comes."

With that she goes deep into the forest and could no longer be seen.

"Quickly, keep the enemies away from the ponies!" One Dragon Army member orders as he and his allies send down flames onto the Changelings and Tirek's forces.

"Take 'dis!" Apple Bloom exclaims as she send a kick right at a Changeling, sending him packing.

"Look out! They're going for Nyx!" Sweetie screams in worry. Sure enough, one of the Changelings heading for Nyx. "Someone save her!"

Twilight angrily fires a magic blast from her horn at the horn, yelling out, "Stay away from my daughter!" She got Nyx on her back while trotting over to Big Macintosh. "Big Mac, can you keep Nyx safe until this battle is over?"

"Yew can count on me, Twilight! Eeyup," Big Mac replied with a nod.

Twilight hands Nyx over to Big Mac, knowing that he can count on him to keep her safe. The unicorn said, "Just to make sure that you are Big Macintosh and not a Changeling, do you own a doll named Miss Smartypants?"

"Shucks, not anymore. Ah done gave it back 'ta yew after 'de...embarrassments, remember?" Big Macintosh points out to Twilight, looking a bit embarrassed.

"Just making sure; only the real Big Mac would know that." Twilight said to Big Macintosh in delight.

The battles kept on going. Golden Heart kicks at one of the Changelings and ogres. Rainbow exclaims, "Where the hay did these ogres come from?!"

"I do know and it involves a threat for now." Golden Heart said with a frown on his face.

"All righty, men," An ogre spoke in a Scottish accent; This is obviously the captain, being more stronger & Intellectual than the rest, plus wearing some captain shoulder pads & helmet to sell the look right. "Time 'ta fight in Grimmore's name!"

"You know, that's funny." Pinkie Pie giggles to the captain as she appears. "You sound just like that ogre guy in the Shrek films, but that one is funny and nicer. Say, how about you don't have a Donkey? Can I be the Donkey???"

The ogre captain frowns as he roars a bit at Pinkie Pie. The pony smiles a bit while saying, "Wow, that's really super duper awesome! Of course, if your roar and weapons don't scare ponies, your breath would. You need a Tic Tac or something because your breath stinks!"

"Oh, for the love of Grimmore, I have no time for you, you silly pony!" The ogre captain groans as he tries to hit her with a mace, but Pinkie moves around.

"Miss me, miss me! Now you gotta kiss me!" Pinkie exclaims happily as she kissed the captain, much to his disgust, "Ick; Garlic breath!"

The ogre tossed the pony right off as he and his pals quickly continue their attacks on the ponies. Meanwhile, Celestia, Luna and King Spykoran continue their own fight, using their attacks on Tirek who is knocked back.

But Tirek recovers as he fires a wave at the trio, exclaiming, "Face it! I am the true king of this world, you are all substitutes!"

"No one wanted you back, Tirek!" Luna snapped as she kicked at Tirek but was grabbed by the legs by the villain, who tossed her down.

"Right, Equestria needs a ruler who cares for its ponies and creatures. You just want to do so by spreading Eternal Night!" Celestia snaps as she flies around and hits Tirek with her hooves.

"Care, yes, but when it came to the strongest of the fittest, only I will survive." Tirek remarks as he turns and back kicks Celestia a bit. "As for you, 'Spykoran', your friend is no longer around to keep you safe. Your death at my hands is guaranteed."

"My friend wouldn't want me to give up because of his departure. He would want me to stop you no matter what!" King Spykoran roars as he fires a huge fire blast at Tirek, sending him across the ground hard. "Like so!"

"You are old-fashioned!" Tirek snaps as he hits the dragon with his tail.

"That's typical, coming from a monster of centuries past!" King Spykoran snaps sternly as he fires a few fireballs back at Tirek who knocks them away, "Horse apples!"

Soon, the fight got some new fighters as Shining and his troops came in, yelling, "All right, time we send these Changelings and their masters out of Ponyville!"

The guest yelps as he saw Shining, making him mumble, "Buck. I can't let Shiny see me." The figure then calls out to Luna. "Luna! Your guards know I'm alive, right?"

"Yes, why," Luna asked the guest, puzzled.

"I'm gonna have to defend the castle from Seto! Make sure Shining doesn't go back there." The guest said as he prepares to leave to return to the castle to avoid Shining seeing him.

"Wait. Here's something from me." Luna said. The figure looks startled as the alicorn kiss him on the cheek, "For luck."

The figure blinks and blushes a bit before heading out into the night. Megan, meanwhile, watches the fight between her adopted daughters and her friend against the villain. They are strong and putting up a good fight, but she has a terrible thing that the trio may not win against the monster.

"Twilight, you think the princesses and King Spykoran can stand a chance?" Megan ask Twilight in concern.

"I hope so...but if not, we may have to use the Elements to defeat Tirek." Twilight said seriously to Megan. "And hopefully Ben's own Elements can help us out."

"Wait a minute, back up a step! Ben has Elements, too?" Megan asked in shock and amazement.

"Yes, the Elements of Courage, Wisdom and Power as mentioned by the Moochick." Rarity explains to Megan with a smile.

"The Moochick did mention of the one who shall wield that power, but I never thought that it would be Celestia's adopted son!" Megan exclaims in amazement.

"Yeah. Awesome, huh?" Rainbow remarked with a grin.

Megan hears a blast as she saw the alicorns hit the ground, making a huge hole. The girl ask in alarm, "Well, I hope you girls and Ben are prepared because I am not sure if Celestia, Luna and Spike, my Spike, can win!"

"We got to have faith." Fluttershy said to Megan softly. "And if they fail, it would to be up to us."

"I can only hope so." Megan said to herself softly and in concern. She cringes as Tirek delivers a punch in King Spykoran's jaw. "I really do."

The ogres, meanwhile, kept on their own attacks as the ogre captain ends up sending out fumes from his butt (don't ask). He then grabs Golden Heart, exclaiming, "Ha! If I beat this guy out cold, the others following him will fall!"

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Golden Heart said to the captain as a paper airplane hits the ogre. "There, see?"

The ogre captain takes the message, reading it, "'You mess with my Goldie, you're going to wish you have never been born.' Ha! I like to see whoever sent that try! That person is bluffing!"

Suddenly, the ogre captain saw a smirk on Golden Heart's face. He turned and saw a shadowy figure, growling, "Your number just came up!"

The ogre captain screams as he ends up fighting something of a scary picture. Let's say, be glad that no other ponies are seeing this. It's too crazy to explain here.

A while later, the ogre captain screams and exclaims, "That's it! I'm outta here! This ain't worth it!"

Golden Heart grins as he turns to the figure whose send the note, saying, "Nice job."

"I know, no one hurts my Goldie!" The figure said with a smile on her face.

"Keep on fighting him, sister!" Luna exclaims as she, Celestia and King Spykoran quickly send out blasts at Tirek who blocks with his own. "We mustn't give up."

"I know! But..." Celestia cringes a bit. She yelps as a blast knocks the three heroes down to the ground.

"Yes...I am stronger, than better even." Tirek said with an evil smile on his face. He then glances at the dragon formerly known as the original Spike, the one who was a pest to him. "And now, Spike, time to kill you off with the power of the Rainbow of Darkness!"

"Grandpa!" Spike exclaims as he saw Tirek unleashing his Rainbow of Darkness at a weakened King Spykoran. The baby dragon jumps on his grandfather's stomach to unleash a counter move that holds back the energy's first wave.

But even doing so, that Rainbow of Darkness would push further then the new Spike, and the little guy tries to protect his only family member while others watch. Then just as it looks like it would be the end for them, a familiar technique of flames aids Spike's attack to push the Rainbow of Darkness back, but during the moment, Spike looks to the side, and sees a strange cloak person with his hood down to prevent anyone from seeing the face. But during the release of flames from within the hood, Spike could almost make out imagines of what looks to be his deceased older brother; Lorcan. And during the confusion, the attacks of the rainbow and flames explode, canceling each other and blowing anyone around a bit backwards from the force.

"What the--" Tirek shouted in shock.

"Who did that?!" Chrysalis demands as she looks around while everyone clears down. But the one who aided Spike is no longer on the scene. "Bah, blast it all!"

"It doesn't matter not," Tirek remarks with a scoff as he saw the Royal Sisters and King Spykoran right before him fallen. "These three has fallen...Eternal Night has come!"

Tirek roars a bit as he waves a hand. The ponies gasps as a sinister palace appears, Tirek's own Palace of Darkness, he brought it back with his own sinister power! Suddenly a chariot appears out of mid-air, making Megan gasps in horror. It's the same one Tirek once rode when he tried to spread Eternal Night centuries ago...except now it's better than ever.

Tirek then hooks his new dragons up as he announces to the ponies and the good dragons, "Let this be a lesson to those who wish to fight me! Death comes to those who interfere with Tirek! Let this be known as the day that Eternal Night reigns!!!"

Some of the ponies tremble in fear as their home begins decaying and being ruined. Their princesses and King Spykoran has failed, even the good dragons find themselves outmatched. Megan exclaims, "We need the Elements of Harmony now!"

Twilight comment, "Hopefully, between the three of them, they managed to take enough out of Tirek for us to finish the job."

Tirek rode his chariot in the air, getting a bit exhausted. As it turns out, Celestia, Luna and Spykoran DID take enough out of Tirek. Hopefully Twilight and the others can be able to defeat him.

"And now, ponies...prefer to watch as your sun gets blotted out forever!" Tirek exclaims to the worried ponies and their allies below. No one can stop him, his Rainbow of Darkness and his strength, along with his forces, has made him invincible. No one could...

"Not so fast, Tirek," Twilight exclaims furiously. Tirek looks down and saw her and her friends wearing the most familiar of objects: the Elements of Harmony. "I believe it's our turn to fight."

"Right, it's time to put a stop to you once and for all!" Rainbow exclaims sternly.

"You got to be kidding me. You have no Rainbow of Light...and my Rainbow is ten times stronger than those trinkets you have." Tirek sneers sinisterly at the ponies. "What makes you think you have a chance?"

"Besides we got friendship, something yew don't have!" Applejack snaps to Tirek in determination. "As long as we got one another, 'dat's enough."

"And me as well!" Ben exclaims sternly as he glows a bit. "I got the Elements of Courage, Wisdom and Power, AKA the Triforce Element! You shouldn't try to mess with my daughter, Tirek!"

"Or our parties," Pinkie growls to Tirek madly. "Your number just came up!"

"And your fashion sense is centuries ago!" Rarity exclaims to Tirek in defiance, "Time to put both it and you out of your misery!"

Soon the Mane Six were powering up the Elements of Harmony, the lights begin to flash a bit with sparkles. This was the slow beginning to what was soon to happen, however…

"Oh no you don't! The Rainbow of Light may have changed, but I know its flaw lies in being used by others! Now behold!" Tirek appeared while preparing his familiar sack bag before the others. "The renewed power of Darkness…at its PEAK," Tirek's soon open his sack, and unleashed the Rainbow of Darkness to sweep downwards.

Many saw this, and yet many could almost but do nothing but watch. As they soon saw it, the Mane Six & the Elements were soon getting inter-twine before the Rainbow of Darkness covered them all; encasing the ponies and their last hope.

"Yikes!" Apple Bloom exclaims in worry. "Not good!"

"Sis," Sweetie Belle exclaims as she tremble in horror.

"That monster is going to turn them into dragons...or worst!" Cheerilee cries out in agony.

"We're doomed!" Caramel groans in sadness. Even the ponies and dragons are fearing the worst. Tirek may have won...

During the entire course, the Rainbow of Darkness soon finished what seemed to be the devouring of the Mane Six and the Elements of Harmony and soon stood upwards as a symbol of 'Infinity' with a sphere pulsating as if proclaiming it's unstoppable force of dark power.

"Gwuhahahahaaaahhh," Tirek cackled out with a wicked smirk of trumpet victory, seeing the display of his win. "At long last, now the only light & six ponies are NO MORE! I've WON! Gwuhahahahahaaahhhh," The mad villain laughs out in insanity, seeing that long last, he's defeated the power that once beaten him.

This looked to be it, it seemed that there was now no hope left and that Tirek's would regain the power to rule Equestria with an iron fist!…Or so it would seem.

Just then, without any warning what so ever, the center within the 'infinity' shape Rainbow of Darkness…began to change with…pretty colorful lights.

"Look! Our friends are fighting back!" Megan pointed out in renewing everyone's hope, and truth be told, it was so. From within the sphere, it was glowing pretty colorful colors to slowly spread out to cover the darkness, including the rest of the Rainbow of Darkness.

"WHAT! It can't be!" Tirek exclaimed out with wide eyed surprise, seeing that his Rainbow of Darkness was losing…to this.

Soon, the entire entity of what was once the Rainbow of Darkness was completely transformed into the Rainbow of Light. It spread itself around, and from within the sphere revealed the Mane Six, activating the Elements of Harmony to spread out their own rainbow to join the other.

"Allow me to give you my power!" Ben exclaims to Twilight as he flew up next to her and the others of the Mane Six. He joins in too, using his OWN three elements to boost the power of the blast by fifty percent.

"No! I won't be destroyed again! I will at least finish off one pony!" Tirek exclaims madly as he quickly fires a blast right at Nyx who is right on Big Macintosh's back...only for a blast from Twilight to cancel it right out. "No!"

Twilight comments, "Not my daughter, you monster!"

Pinkie commenting, "This is similar to when Molly Weasley delivered the final blow to Bellatrix LaStrange when the latter tried to kill Ginny in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows'. This time, we all are involved."

Both rainbows were inter-twine in more harmony before stretching themselves forth towards the unnatural cause of evil disharmony; Tirek.

Tirek could only watch as he rode within his chariot with his dragons as the two Rainbows soon were trying to intangible him. "No! No! GRAAUUUGH…NOT AGAAAAAAAIN," Tirek cried out and held up his arms in protest, he can't lose, not again, after so many centuries to return; not again! For a moment, it looks like he's fighting it back with what strength he has left.

Lyra comment "The guy is powerful enough to defeat Celestia, Luna AND Spykroan all at once in a fair fight AND still have enough steam left to be on his feet following a fifty percent more powerful than usual blast from the Elements of Harmony. Talk about a tough -"

"Krsisvhmm…Kurpowwwfruvhmmm…" Then without warning, a giant explosion of light flashed across Tirek's appearance as the others below duck down from the explosive wind pressure blowing their way as they hang on for something BIG. Tirek's palace of darkness was being devastated by the Rainbow of Light's power combined with the Elements of Harmony. "GRUUAARRAAAAUUGHHH…" Tirek made one last cry, he has the power of two rainbows united flew towards him once more, inducing him and his chariot of dark dragons in a spiraling light. Within the spiraling light, any who saw it was almost speechless, Tirek's body was de-crippling it's structure to dust, and soon when it reached its head, only his black pitch soul remained until… "NOUUARRUUAAAWWWHHH…" Yes, even the evil dark soul of Tirek was eviscerating from not one, but two powerful Rainbows forces that shredded the evil out of mere existence….this time, for keep sakes.

Lyra comments, "Never mind."

At this time, much of the Changelings that served Tirek were being pulled in to the Rainbow cyclone.

"Oh no, oh no; what's happening," Ed yelped from trying to fly away, but the force was pulling him in.

"Do you think it'll get us?" Fred asked his pal if this storm will get them, seeing that they are the targets.

"Quickly, grab onto something!" Seto passed over the two in suggesting that they grab something to hold to not get sucked in.

Too bad what came next was the Queen of the Changlings; Chrysalis as soon as she was under the others, Ed & Fred reached down to hold onto their queen, much to her surprise.

"WAIT! NOT ME, YOU FOOLS!" Chrysalis yelped off to snap in annoyance, the message Seto meant was of solid, not of their own especially their queen.

"MY QUEEN," Seto yelped to help aid Chrysalis, but soon the lack of flying away pulled them all and any Changeling into the Rainbow Cyclone. That just left one thing for them to do now…

"WAAAHAAAA…/WAAHAAUAAGHUAAGH!, Yep, Fred and Ed were screaming their heads off as they, Seto, Chrysalis and all the Changlings soon vanished upwards in the Rainbow Cyclone. "Powwvhmmm…" And then as if reliving deja vu, a bright explosion blasted these guys off in different direction; it was the same thing that happened in the Canterlot Wedding Event. Now these followers of Tirek were now scattered and out of the picture.

Soon after Tirek's defeat, the dragons that pulled his chariot were being swept into the cyclone storm. Many ponies on the ground looked up in surprise, the rainbow vortex was impacting the very dark cloudy skies, lightning and thunder clash out before it vanished completely until… "KURPOWVHMMM..." One mighty burst of implosive light, shines across all that were there to bear witness this feat. Some dragons on the ground fell back in yelping pain in the strange glow until….when the loud booming noise faded…they were turn into butterflies. And soon, even his created dark warriors from long again were bathed in the light that pained them until….they were changed back into innocent birds. Even the entire dark palace and structures surrounding what became Tirek's new rule of dominance...was changed too. The town returned to its appearance of beauty once more.

By the last moment of miracles, the dragons of darkness that Tirek made to pull his chariot were falling from the skies as if unconscious. But then from their earlier glows, they returned to the ponies that were turned into dark dragons, AKA Celestia's critics. They were falling from the air while regaining their senses to know what was happening. However, there was no cause for panic, as they reached the ground, as if by some invisible magical force stopped them, some spin around in midair before gently tucking the firm ground. They were puzzled from what happened, but only knew that they were returned to their normal selves.

It was only here, that the Mane Six and Ben soon landed on the ground, looking a bit tired out after their magical rainbow vanished soon after. Many of their friends and family came over to see if they were alright.

"Are you all right?" Spike asks Twilight and the others in concern.

"We're fine, Spike." Rarity said with a smile to Spike as she and the others got up. "My, that was tiring, wasn't it?

Twilight comment, "Let this be a lesson; NEVER mess with my friends OR my family."

"Right, some of our enemies learn this too well." Shining remarked to Twilight with a chuckle.

"Look! Tirek's sack," Megan pointed up in spotting something falling from the skies..Truth be told, the sack fell on the ground near the human girl to which her puzzled mind went to pick it up.

"Looky there; The Rainbow of Darkness now turned to Light!" Phobos pointed out something strange; one rainbow was still folicuring around like it was lost. The moon dragon knows that the Elements of Harmony's rainbow already disappeared when it did it's job, so why was there one more rainbow unaccounted for.

Then without warning or know how, Megan held opened the sack and the new Rainbow of Light soon dives towards her. Soon before anyone knew it, the Rainbow had gone into the sack, which it glowed for a few moments before transforming its appearance. Soon within Megan's hands was a new red heart locket, only with a golden lining on the outside for the opening & closing. The human girl was in utter silence, not just her, but practically any other pony as well. Could this be….a 'New' Rainbow of Light, in this modern day of Equestria since the Elements of Harmony were still around?

"Megan, is that what I think it is?" Celestia spoke when she and Luna approached their friend, being so completely puzzled in what they saw happened with Tirek's evil rainbow.

"It is, it's a new Rainbow of Light. Maybe from that last display of the two…our friends strength was stronger than the darkness." Megan nods from holding the new Rainbow Locket and feeling a more warmer glow flashing from it, the same feeling from the Elements from the time she had them as one before they split into six.

"So in short, from the Elements of Harmony that not only aided in conquering the Rainbow of Darkness…it changed it into the new Rainbow of Light!" Luna exclaimed out in nearly surprise wide-eyes to hearing this; they have…a new rainbow.

"Right, that's what I think too. At least this way, all of Tirek's dark powers are gone." Megan nods with a smile while looking at the new locket, finding it almost hard to believe…this item was the holder to the Rainbow of Darkness, but now it's changed for the better.

"That's amazing! Now we got two times the power of Rainbows on our side!" Spike responded with a big smile, if they have two magic rainbows, then they got double the power to protect their home from evil.

"Indeed, if this was the past, I can't imagine how many other enemies would feel facing two Rainbows of Light instead of just one!" King Spykoran exclaimed off in agreement as he sees this as more surprising than anyone else.

"And I feel this power should be safely kept in your hands, Megan." Celestia spoke from holding the new Rainbow Locket and presenting it to be around Megan's neck.

"Really, are you sure?" Megan spoke in puzzling wonder as she held the locket up, wondering if she should do this. In the past, she was the holder when the old elements of Harmony were one, but is she okay to keep the second one?

"We are sure, we have the Elements of Harmony, but if we are in need, we know of another power to reach…from the chosen wielder once again." Luna spoke with a brighten smile on her face, assuring Megan that she would be perfect to hold the new Rainbow of Light, as it would keep her safe from harm and those close to her and be used if the ponies are in need of their friend.

"In that case, I promise to help whenever I can." Megan nods with a smile in happily accepting this task of being the keeper of the Rainbow of Light. In truth, it's just like the old days, only now the ponies have two powerful rainbows to help them in their aid of need.

"Now that everything is settled, I do believe we have some late festivities to wrap up." Celestia spoke with a gentle tone in recalling where and what they were doing before all this craziness happened.

"Wait, what happened to those ogres?" Derpy ask as she saw that the ogres are gone from sight as if they have run away or something. "Did we send them packing?"

"Or ran away," Time Turner said seriously to Derpy. "I got a bad feeling that we may see them again."

"Nyx," Twilight gasps as she gallops over to Big Macintosh to see if her daughter is all right. The unicorn nuzzles her daughter, speaking, "Nyx? Are you okay?"

"Uhhhh....mommy, daddy," Nyx groans a bit as she wakes up, seeing Twilight and Ben, who trots up, nearby. "What happened? I feel like someone took me for a joy ride then parked me."

"Its okay, Nyx, honey; you're safe now." Ben said with tears in his eyes. He and Twilight takes Nyx off Big Macintosh's back while hugging her. "Sssh. That monster that took you for that ride is gone."

"Really; Is Mr. T gone?"

"Gone for good," Twilight said with tears in her eyes, happy for her daughter safe and back to her sweet self. She then saw Megan and motions the human to come over. "Oh yes, I never introduce you earlier. Nyx, this is Megan, AKA the Mag'ne, the one who help teach the princesses everything they knew."

"Yes, you could say that I'm their adopted mother." Megan said to Nyx with a smile as she pet Nyx gently. So this is the real daughter of Twilight and Ben.

"Wait, if that's the case...since you are...GREAT GRANDMA MEGAN!" Nyx exclaims happily as she jumps into Megan happily, nuzzling the human a bit. She yelps and glares at Celestia, Luna and hte other ponies who chuckle a bit.

"You were waiting for that to happen, did you?"

The ponies laugh a bit. Despite that awkwardness, looks like things are back to normal.

All right! Tirek is destroyed, Nightmare Night and Equestria is saved! The final chapter is coming up as we tie up some loose ends or finish things up. Read, review and suggest.

The opening of the chapter has a reference to 'Past Sins'.

The ogres as well as the captain (especially his reaction with Pinkie Pie) are references to the dumb ogres from Gummi Bears and the Shrek series.

Pinkie is right in the final blow in the last Harry Potter book.

The scene of Tirek's defeat is very much similar to what happened in the first My Little Pony (G1) pilot; Rescue at Midnight Castle with a few additional changes to what was seen than to being seen now, sorta.

The scene of what happens to the Changelings was what happened to Taurus Bulba's three henchmen from the Darkwing Duck series in the pilot work.

Prologue: Scariness's Over

Tirek is defeated and destroyed, the Changelings are gone; all of Equestria is now saved. That leaves only one thing left to do: finish the festivities up. The ponies all recovered from the nightmare that almost destroyed them all.

Megan smiles as she hangs out with her friends and family, especially her adoptive great-granddaughter. Nyx is happy that she is there to help the ponies save Equestria and her from an evil legend from long ago. Megan found out her story but decides not to be angry or hate the little filly. After all, even ponies make mistakes and were once evil like Luna.

Eventually, Celestia announces, "All right, it's time now for the judging of the best costume. We checked every pony's outfit, trying to figure out the right one to win."

"But," Luna calls out with a smile. "Every one of your outfits is incredible and wonderful, we can't just choose one. And to avoid picking favorites..."

"We decreed that every one is the winner!"

The ponies cheers on with smiles on their faces, looks like the they all have the best costumes this year. Megan announces, "The winners shall receive a truckload of candy."

"Bring it in!" Shining orders his Pegasus troops. The mentioned Royal Guards flew in and dump a lot of candy right in the center of the ponies. Everyone looks excited. That is a huge mountain load. They were prepared to jump in when Megan spoke up.

"But...to make up for all the trouble that Nyx has gone through thanks to Tirek possessing her, she shall go first!"

"Well, go in and go crazy!" Phobos exclaims to Nyx with a smirk. The filly giggles happily as she jumps right into the candy, eating big time.

"Hey, come in, foals! There's enough for everypony!" Nyx exclaims to the foals happily. Her friends and classmates cheers on as they jump in to join in on the candy eating. "Not you Diamond. You were a meanie to me."

Diamond Tiara looks ticked off as Nyx has not allowed her to join in on the fun. Worst yet, her parents silently agreed to Nyx's request. If Tirek would've been killed Nyx off earlier...

The bratty pony turns to Twilight and snaps, "This is all your fault, Sparkle especially for the Tirek madness!"

"My little pony, she just saved your life along wih every pony else's." Celestia said to Diamond, disappointed with the filly's behavior like always.

"This is all your fault, Sparkle. Oh you just let Nyx die, none of this would have happened."

"My little pony!"

"Come back and talk to me when you actually do a good job at beng princess..." Diamond Tiara was caught off as she gets grabbed by the neck by Spike who snarls and brandished his own sword.

"Okay, you better apologize or else!" Spike snaps to Diamond Tiara angrily. The filly scoffs as she got herself free from the dragon's hold.

"Or else what; you can't threaten me like that! Someone besides me would think it's best that that Nightmare brat is better off dead!"

"Oh, I think I do." Pinkie said with a devilish look to Diamond Tiara. She then points to an alley nearby, continuing. "I heard someone else thought that Nyx is better off dead right in there."

"Good, someone agrees with me." Diamond Tiara snaps as she goes over to the alley to see who agrees with her POV. "Hello? Who..."

"Your number just came uuuuuup!" The familiar voice of the creature from the secret dungeon, Pinkamena Diane Pie, booms to Diamond Tiara from within the shadows. Suddenly a familiar mist hits the filly, causing her to scream and shake violently all over, saying the same word over and over.

"Brr brr brr brr brr brr brr brr brr brr!!!"

Filthy Rich looks surprised and shocked as he saw Diamond on the ground, shaking like mad. He ask, "What happened to Diamond Tiara?"

"Oh, poor filly, the incident gave her the bad case of the brrs." Pinkie explains to Filthy Rich while hiding a smirk on her face. The father sighs as he helps his daughter up.

"I better take Diamond Tiara home. She has enough for one night."

As Filthy Rich takes Diamond Tiara home to recover, Pinkie smiles as she gave a secret wink to the hiding Pinkamena. The two has became good friends since the 'Cupcakes 2' incident, the hidden one is glad that she got back at Diamond Tiara for what she said about poor Nyx and anyone else she insulted.

"So...critic guy," Rainbow ask the head of the Princess bashers, who frowns at her. "Whatcha think? Did what happened change your opinion on Celestia now?"

"So what she manages to fight off against Tirek! The alicorn still loses!" The critic snaps to Rainbow in annoyance. "She should've beaten him without back up but the princess lost anyway!"

"Oh, what is it going to take for you to change your mind?"

"I won't rest until Celestia is off the throne and out of the scene."

"Yeah, well I won't rest until you shave your mane off your head!" Ben, who overheard the conversion, snaps right at the critic. "That's a Pinkie Promise!"

"The day that happens is the day I changed my mind!" The critic snaps to Ben right back, making him and Rainbow sighs in annoyance. It looks like he's never going to change his mind.

As the party goes on, Soarin' comment, "Even when the Princesses actually TRY to do something against the villains and monsters, it usually falls to somebody else to deliver the final blow."

Twilight points out, "The Princesses and King Spykroan DID manage to wear Tirek down enough for the rest of us to be able to finish the job - which is no small feat when you consider how powerful Tirek proved to be." The unicorn however looks down in guilt and worry.

"Twilight; what's wrong?" Megan asks Twilight, noticing the guilt look on her face. "Is this about Tirek's defeat?"

"We killed him..."

"Yeah so," Rainbow comments to Twilight, not sure why Tirek's death is so easy to get upset about.

"But that's just it!" Twilight exclaims to Rainbow in worry and horror. "We didn't kill Nightmare Moon, Discord, Boris-"

"Wish we did." Ben said to himself with a frown. Boris should've been dead instead of still roaming around, doing who knows what. Speaking to Twilight, he adds, "But I digress. I know that, even if that was a problem, no pony blames you for what you and your friends must do to stop Tirek."

Twilight try to comment, "The ponies in this town are usually pretty forgiving; at least based on - my bigger mistakes that I would prefer not to discuss or be reminded of. Most other towns would have justifiably run me out of town on a rail for those and yet they - at least mostly - have forgiven me."

Megan smiles as she pets Twilight, comforting the unicorn while saying, "Twilight Sparkle. I know you aren't used to killing off your enemies...but Tirek is a monster and a killer himself. Imprisoning or banishing him wouldn't do any good. If left alive or free, Tirek would've continued trying to conquer all of Equestria or destroy anypony in his way."

"Megan's right, Twilight," Celestia said to Twilight while motioning to Nyx sharing her candy with her friends. "There are some monsters whose will never reform no matter what and will always be a true menace to Equestria. Also, he took over your daughter."

"Yeah, you're right. Now that you mention it, Tirek deserves what he got." Twilight said with a smile as she came over to Nyx. "Okay, Nyx, save some candy for later."

"This is the best Nightmare Night ever!" Nyx giggles while hugging Twilight. "Thanks mommy...for saving me with my aunts, daddy and Great-Grandma Megan's help."

"You're welcome, Nyx."

"Oh brother, I'm never going to get over the 'Great-Grandma' nickname." Megan sighs a bit as the Royal Sisters chuckles a bit.

"Not in this lifetime, Megan." King Spykoran remarks to Megan in amusement. "On the plus side, this night is one story to tell Danny, Molly and the rest of the family back home."

"Great, I wonder how Mike would feel when I tell him that I suddenly became a great-grandmother and to a filly who was once Nightmare Moon no less."

A while later, Luna steps in front of the ponies while announcing in her Royal Canterlot Voice, "Well, ponies, despite the madness we suffered tonight, we think we all have a nice last night of Nightmare Night, did we not?"

"Yeah! Most of the ponies cheers on with smiles while looking excitedly. The last night of Nightmare Night may have been a race for their lives as well as a monster from centuries ago almost taking Equestria...but at the end, all went well.

"Good. Now we decree that the last night of the 31 Days/Nights of Nightmare Night be complete! My sister shall raise the sun for you all while King Spykoran shall lead the entire chorus of dragons and ponies in a song to welcome the new month."

Celestia nods as she and Luna flew upward. As the ponies watch, the moon get lowers as the sun is rose up for a whole new day. As Celestia raises the sun following the conclusion to Nightmare Night and the defeat of Tirek, King Spykroan, as if to celebrate the fact that he and his friends are all still alive and healthy and the fact Tirek got defeated with no innocents getting seriously hurt, lead an entire chorus of dragons and ponies in singing 'Zippity-Doo-Dah'.

Pinkie comment, "Spykroan is also keeping in practice for when he plays Uncle Remus in the author's upcoming 'Song of the South' fanmake." Her friends chuckle a bit in amusement. Their friend can be so random.

During this little display, Golden Heart felt a gentle, yet familiar tug rub on his back. Then when he turns around, say a note and used his magic to take it off and read it. It said, 'Meet me by the Carousel Baroque, come alone.' on the note which Golden Heart signed at knowing what this could mean. After getting by the other ponies, Golden Heart finally managed to head to the location he was told to go to. After arriving, he finally got an answer to his waiting.

"I miss you, Goldie." Golden Heart turned and saw the mysterious figure in whom he's familiar with coming out from a shadowy corner.

"Like you haven't after that last encounter we had, Pinkamena?" Golden Heart shook off his head while responding to this character, even by name now suddenly.

Then coming out of the shadows, was that of Golden Heart's mysterious friend shrouded in her cloak. This person has been doing activity from Lorcan's Invasion to now Tirek's Return. But at this moment, the truly unexpected thing happened, the mare hiding her appearance soon remove her hood and cloak a bit to show what she really looks like. She looks like Pinkie Pie but her mane and tail were flattened and she got a creepy look on her face. This here, was the pony that has been looking out for Golden Heart through the shadows; Pinkamena Diane Pie, the same one who lives in Pinkie's secret dungeon that the Earth pony kept underneath Sugarcube Corner for some reason that gave the ponies the 'Brrs' on a previous Nightmare Night, as well as recently to Diamond Tiara.

"Oh Goldie, you know that I couldn't go on so long without you, best friend." Pinkamena spoke off in a sly manner with a smile in how this stallion spoke to her playfully.

"I know, by the way, thanks for the saves from before. By from me & Lorcan's duel & now," Golden Heart nods with a smile while giving this pony his thanks for the save work from the shadows.

"Anybody that messes with you shall earn my wrath and believe me, you don't wanna see that!" Pinkamena responded off with a smug expression while looking ready to go crazy on anyone that hurts the pony who is her BFF.

"I can only imagine." Golden Heart rolled his eyes in knowing this mare was as crazy as ever to do anything for him, if not go a little eccentric at times. "So what is it we're here? Trying to get me to yourself on this event we're all having after Tirek's final defeat?" The alicorn stallion asked off in feeling that he was brought here for this pony to be his 'date' right now, figures. By 'date', I mean as in hanging out as friends.

"There's that, but..." Pinkamena responded with a sly thought in liking the idea, however. "I'm here to warn you, that the threat with Tirek is gone, but another seems to be rising." The mare stated out with some concerns over what happened during the events with Tirek.

"Let me guess, Grimmore? The Ogres were a dead give away, for only he commands those dumb oafs." Golden Heart stated out with a plain look in knowing all about the Ogres & their connection to the Overlord King himself.

"That maybe true, but I believe he's starting to make a move by letting those in his army come out to play." Pinkamena stated in feeling that the Ogres were not the only ones sent, & she be right from the Clays that she saw.

"Wait, are you saying the Ogres weren't just the only threat army we had to handle?" Golden Heart asked a bit shocked & surprised, who else was there but no one saw them?

"Correct, we may just see them again, plus others that are on Grimmore's side." Pinkamena nods with an agreed with while being serious. "I'm telling you this...so you can try to help the ponies here be weary of new trouble arising." Though it's mostly to help keep Golden Heart safe, helping him by helping those he wants to protect was something she knows makes him glad.

"Thank you Pinkamena, with this information, I, Celestia & Luna, will be more prepared if it comes to another war."

"How about thanking me...by going on a date you suggested, as in best friends not the date kind. You are like my big brother after all! I hear there's a new restaurant in Ponyville that's serving good food. But...if any mares start giving you the eye of interest...'they'll be sorwy', hmhmhmhm..." Pinkamena giggled with a sly smirky expression while playfully tapping Goldie's nose, especially on that hidden threat note on that play act 'they'll be sorry', this one is not giving this stallion to anyone but her.

"Oh boy, I can hardly wait." Golden Heart signs from a rolled eye expression, sounds like he'll have to inform the Mane Six Lookalikes to be careful what they do since they are the only restaurant in Ponyville, & if he goes there with this mare of mystery, lots of mares better be careful around her...and that is no joke. His 'little sister' can be overprotective at times like Twilight is to Shining Armor.

As the Mane Six continues hanging out with Megan, Ben, Spike, Phobos and Nyx, Rainbow comments, "Hopefully, next Nightmare Night will NOT be as exciting as this one. This battle has met and exceeded my excitement quota for the next two weeks."

"Tell me about it, and facing off someone like Tirek? That's something I like to avoid. I rather let grandpa deal with him." Spike remarks with a nod.

Pinkie Pie comments, "For some reason, I can't help thinking about that one dimension we viewed into just a couple of weeks ago. You know, the one where WE are the dragons and Spike was the pony."

"How is 'dat a reminder 'ta yew?" Applejack asks Pinkie puzzled.

"I wonder if those dragons would face what we just did."

"Well, if that the case, I'm sure they would fare better." Fluttershy said to Pinkie with a smile while eating some candy. The Pegasus pony can finally relax after 31 Nights of Nightmare Night.

Pinkie comment, "Somehow, I have a feeling that there may be some stuff in Season Three that might end up contradicting the majority of the stuff in Jus's stories. Oh, well. There are also all sorts of alternate universes, so, even if this fic's continuity DOES end up straying from Season Three canon, it doesn't make the stuff in Jus's fan fiction continuity any less valid. That would just mean this continuity becomes one of many alternate universes, with each universe having an equal claim to reality." Most of the rest of the cast simply shaking their heads, knowing this is just Pinkie being Pinkie.

"Oh no worries, Auntie Pinkie Pie; If that were the case, JusSonic will find a way to make it work for his fics like he barely manage to put in some fics so far! He never let that bother him before!" Nyx chirps to Pinkie happily. Her parents and her other aunts look confused by what she just said. "What? I picked up breaking the fourth wall from her!"

"Yep! That's my honorable niece!"

"Somehow, I may never understand you ponies at times." Megan chuckles a bit to her friends.

As the celebration on the new day continues, no one saw a lone changeling trying to sneak up on Rainbow Dash, only be grabbed by Rainbow...who has a mechanical four digit claw instead of a hoof.

"What," The Changeling asks in shock as he looks from Rainbow to the other one, "How?!"

'Rainbow' then claims, "I'm Rainbow in a way. Non one shall kill her but me," whilst in a cold robotic sounding voice. She then drags the Changeling (his voice been muffled so no one can hear him scream) away to his fate.

During the celebrations, no one also saw a shadowy figure can be seen sneaking off with genetic samples lifted from Celestia, Luna AND Tirek. She smirks sinisterly. Her master will be pleased with this...and best of all, no one will realize until it's too late...

The scene now changes to another area where it's only showing us two ponies; Twilight and Celestia. They are at a hidden spot where they can discuss something in private for the moment.

"You wish to see me, Celestia?" Twilight Sparkle responded with her most humble tone in addressing her ruler.

"Yes Twilight, you recall that the Forbidden Book of Spells was in your home." Celestia nods to her loyal student and family member as she asked if the mare recalls a certain 'spell book' within her captivity.

"Oh, about that; I can explain!" Twilight yelps a bit in surprise, she figured that the Princess of the Sun would later on realize that the Book of Forbidden Spells was within reach of the enemy 'cause it was in her home unproductive. "I would have written saying something about it, but then I became interested in its pages and lost track of time, so…" As Twilight was trying her best to explain the matter of the book of such spells was in her possession without secretly securing it, the princess cut her off.

"It's okay Twilight, in truth as you know, I sent that Book of Forbidden Spells to be with you personally." Celestia held up her left hoof to calmly let her student know that she knew about the matter, being the one who did the deed.

"Well…yes. But…why?" Twilight slowly responded a bit puzzled while curious on the matter, why would Princess Celestia send her the Forbidden Book of Spells, something that once caused trouble for ponies in the past to even now.

"To have you be up to date in what spells you may come across when trouble arises...anew." Celestia spoke from looking out over a field that was quiet and peaceful, but kept a stern focus face as if suggesting to be cautious.

"So…it's not over yet? There's still some evil to face?" Twilight looked to her princess with a puzzled face, thinking that their times of peace might not last again.

"Yes, some even more powerful than we can imagine. Yet they haven't made their move…" Celestia spoke with a stern and serious face, knowing that Tirek's evil maybe gone, but there will certainly be others to take his place to try and cause harm to her ponies. "There was one spell I wanted you to understand the most, so that it maybe use to give you aid in the greatest threat you're situated with." The princess of the sun looked to Twilight, as if explaining the importance of knowing of one 'certain spell' out of the others that can do the most good.

"And…which one is that?" Twilight curled her left eyebrow in confusion, she seen some of the spells form the Forbidden Book, but nothing that hasn't been seen that would be of much help.

"A powerful spell known as…the "Xros-Fusion" Spell," Celestia slowly spoke and then held her head up high in declaring the name of the spell in nature and the power it can call forth.

"The…Xros…Fusion…Spell?" Twilight slowly noted with a much more puzzling face than before as if not completely following that word or name of the spell mentioned. "Forgive me for asking, but what preciously is that spell?"

"It's a spell to fuse two beings together. Such is the different term of speaking it 'crossing' with 'fusion' put together." The princess slowly stated in speaking how the mentioned spell can be noted to be label as before explaining its properties, "The spell that crosses different breeds to fuse them. Like taking a Pegasus & a Unicorn to become an Alicorn, both gaining the skill of another and increasing their other skills more than before." Celestia stated out with a much focus expression, explaining the much important detail of the spell brings two creatures and make them into one.

"Wait…is this like that Talent Swap Spell Boris used?" Twilight stop for a moment to ask a question, this spell almost sounds like what Boris the Red Devil used during the Demon Pony event.

"No, unlike that spell, this doesn't take, it merges. Once more, it's up for more than just two choices, the number of mergence is limitless." Celestia shook her head while explaining that for this particular spell, there's not much of bad but of good uses from it. "The spell can be used to make someone be the core member to hold the others together. They must be strong of mind and body and work what they have to their advantage." From what the princess explained, if someone like Twilight was the core member during the meeting, she would have the power of those that fused together with her.

"So…if me and my friends did this spell." Twilight slowly was speaking out in trying to match up what Celestia was getting to. "Would we be as strong as you and Luna, princess?" To the smart mare's theory, if she and her friends did become one strong being from this fusion spell, would they almost be strong as the Royal Sisters?

"Perhaps…even stronger," Celestia made a sly smirk in suggesting a possibility that seem to jump up Twilight's hopes a bit. "The spell allows one to get stronger if another strong individual allows themselves to fuse with you and gain their strength and abilities." The princess stated out; for those in Twilight's group, all the facts of their talents would be merged together, all for one and one for all in that sorta understanding of what's to happen.

"There's one thing I'm not following." Twilight asked off from feeling something tugged in the back of her head. "Why was this spell put in the Book of Forbidden Spells?" The smart mare wanted to know if this spell, 'Xros-Fusion' was to aid them in their toughest time of need, why was it hidden to never be seen again?

"Because…a lot of evil minded hearts would force others to merge with them, giving them greater power without a care. They would even choose to remain that way permanently." Celestia explained with a very serious and stern expression in what she spoke was very true. Evil villains would use this spell to gain more strength and power without caring for others they use to get that way and even wanting to never return to normal.

"Then…what about us," Twilight asked a bit hesitated, now seeing the dangers of this spell, was it assuring to say…if she and her friends did this, would they be stuck as one person instead of six?

"You have nothing to fear, the spell will stay active but it can be undone on two accounts." Celestia smiled when she shook her head to assure Twilight of other matters that would be different for if the Mane Six wanted to know if they could return to normal. "One is if the core member is willing to split those in the spells fusion to return to their original selves, and another is if they are overpowered to the point, they lose focus and break apart." The princess explained out the conditions in which even when the spell is being effective of fusing others into one being, the core member of the merger has the will to separate or if something causes those fused to de-fuse, then those are the only ways of returning to one's original self.

"Wow, I had no idea!" Twilight spoke out with a wide smile in feeling like she's learned something extra new here. "So then…how could I make this Xros-Fusion Spell work for us?" The mare questioned off in how such a spell could be worked well with the Mane Six.

"That's the easy part if you all have the will to do it and let your strengths become one." Celestia nods with an honest smile in how the spell in question can be done willingly, and not by force. "Also, when fused, you may not look the same; you may even take on an entirely different form. Perhaps to even go under a new name," The princess pointed out one major detail, those that fuse, especially a large number, can create a new being to show characteristics almost similar to those used to merge with.

"Really, that's amazing!" Twilight responded in surprise, this does indeed sound like something that would catch anyone's attention.

"Yes, and even though you will fight in a new fusion body, remember, those of your friends are with you inside, and I do mean truly," Celestia nods to state that even if Twilight & the Mane Six are only of one body from fusing, they are still connected, able to talk and speak suggests while they are merged.

"Oh course princess, I also want to know." Twilight nods in understanding, but also had another question she had to ask. "Could we even use this spell with the Elements?" This was a good question, would they have the Elements, would their forms changed to fit their fusion creation? After all, the Elements did do something of becoming accessories to be worn all over Spike when he was fighting Lorcan that time a while back.

"Yes, that is why I believe you and your friends can do this." Celestia nods once again with honesty as her witness in responding to the question. "Perhaps by using the Elements and the spell, you can create something of 'Unity', and with that approach any danger without fear." This piece of news sounded almost too good to be true, a spell this strong and use of the Elements of Harmony, the Mane Six with those were strong enough, sure, but imagine…if they were fused into an even stronger individual to conquer the task at hand. "But do try to practice it, saying and doing are completely different things." The princess issue that Twilight and her friends first try to practice and learn how to perform the deed, it may not come off so easily at first, but only after practicing, will the time to use it be known if they got it down.

"I'll inform my friends right away, until then, thank you Princess Celestia." Twilight nods with a humble bow before she and Celestia nuzzled each other's heads.

"Take care, my beloved little pony." Celestia nods with a smile as she watches her prized student now rush off to tell her friends the news while planning to enjoy herself with the last bit of the festivities.

The scene returns us to the place where evil still lies within the Gates of Tartarus, within the center reign, where Grimmore's palace lies. And within the chambers, the Overlord King sits on his throne, resting his chin on his right hand as he, and even Ji-Ga-No by his side while he hovered, saw the Black Clays enter and bow before their lord and master.

"I can tell that the mission…was successful." Grimmore spoke from looking down at his Black Clays that have return to tell him the news that he wishes to hear.

"Yes master, the crystal is within the human called Megan's possession." Captain Clay responded with a humble arm cross bow in acknowledging his lord's question with an answer.

"Excellent, as a show of my thanks, I shall create something 'special' to join my army base upon you all." Grimmore smiled ever still to hear this and now he wishes to present something as what will be a part of his army; using the pattern structure similar to his clays.

"Oh really, and what precisely, would it be?" Ji-Ga-No asked with a raised attention to what 'new' soldier would be made within the Grimmore Army.

"Look and see." Grimmore spoke as he sat up straight and soon forged within his left hand, a sphere made of metal. "Here, I hold but a simple forged of strong metal alloy in the form of a sphere!" The Overlord King exclaimed in showing something that his followers are understanding. "Fissiivhmm…" Then without warning, the sphere was bulky and stretching out in a wobbly matter, like it was alive. "And I can change its form to liquid, but when forged again becomes a strong metal object." Grimmore explained the basic concepts in which he can control even the properties and structures of metal objects, even before or after they have made made.

"And what are we getting at with this display?" Ji-Ga-No asked once more, being avoided of his earlier question to what the point was here.

"This right here," Grimmore smirked with a wicked sense as he brought forth something in his right hand that glowed and forged a familiar green triangle form; it was the copied Triforce he obtained a while back. "I shall infuse a small sample of the copied Triforce's power into this metallic sphere…to create…a Living Weapon!" The Overlord King proclaimed his next step to creating, 'stronger' creatures to serve him, and cause some mayhem. "Life-Creation - FORMATION!" Grimmore chatted forth as he let the two items hovered in his hands, before the copied Triforce of the smallest force, was brought to the metal sphere.

"Spzizizivhmm…" Sparks flew off when the two items touched each other; the Black Clays flinched from seeing such power while Ji-Ga-No, never flinched even once. "Frusvhmm…" Soon the small copy of the Triforce & metal sphere merged with only the latter remaining; all seemed quiet until… "Grugrusvhmm…" The metal soon turns to goop and slipped pass the Overlord King's hand onto the floor.

"Nothing has happened." Ji-Ga-No responded in being surprised, usually, something amazing would happen, even if that was only a small portion of the TriForce infused, so why?

"Wait for it." Grimmore held up his left hand to signel his general to give this time, it's only just starting.

"Grusvhmm-Fruspvhmm…" Soon the metal goop began to move on its own and more so shape it's very being, "MWRUAAAAAAUGHHH!" From the eerie voice, it sounded like the wailing of a soul from a creature. By then, all in the room took notice of what was created and given life by Grimmore's magic; an amoeba-like creature that was gray and has no eyeballs with his body looking to be made of liquid mental. He took the form generally assumed of a hairless, legless humanoid which was similar to the Black Clays. Once he gotten to look at his surroundings, he saw the being who created him; the Overlord King himself.

"Welcome to the world, you shall be called: Metal Jell!" Grimmore responded like a king, welcoming into arms, a new warrior to his cause. "You are the first of my Elite Warriors." The Overlord King proclaimed in announcing the rank this 'new' creature shall be in a part of the other soldiers within the Grimmore Army.

"Hmmm…heheh," The creature called Metal Jell heard this and chuckled a bit in liking the sounds of this.

"And what is this Elite Warriors you speak, my lord?" Ji-Ga-No asked from looking at Grimmore and curious puzzlement at this Metal Jell creature as this new system of rank is new to him.

"That is simple to say, of what I mean. Creatures I create by taking something strong and use my magic to make them stronger beings out of the rest of the army I made." Grimmore smiled in resting his head again on his right hand while stating how any creature he creates that are the Elite, are stronger than the others in the army. "But why listen, when a display is in order. Black Clays, attack Metal Jell!" The Overlord King exclaimed out as he looked to his awaiting Black Clays with an order to attack his creation, their new comrade.

"Whah," The Black Clays yelped in hearing this order, Grimmore wants them to fight this one creature against their large numbers.

"Master, are you sure?" Captain Clay was about to ask if his master was certain of this, usually none of the army captains question their lord, but this one might be heading towards disaster.

"Yes, do it!" Grimmore spoke while a close zoom of his eyes made a darkened narrow move of focus as if saying 'do it, OR ELSE' in the most slyest and unexpected way to threaten someone.

"Hmhmhmhmmm…" Captain Clay flinched by that last tone, it's enough to send shivers down even spineless jelly creatures like the clays, "Men! Attack him all at once!" The captain quickly turned to his troops and pointed the target in front of them; they are to attack Metal Jell without question.

"Yaaaaahhhhh," The Black Clays roared their battle cries as they were charging or leaping up in the air, arms to whips, they were going out.

"Hmph, an entire large troop brigade, now that hardly seems fair," Metal Jell spoke with a little smile in seeing this as he was being attacked from all sides while making this claim, "For you," Of course, on that last note, it sounded like the direct opposite before his right arm became a long expending whip. "Whipvhmm…Bashhfruvhmm…" And then in an amazing feet, lashed that one weapon that impacted all of the Black Clays, stopping them in their tracks.

"WAAAUUGH…GAAAUGH…" The Black Clays were shot back, even their captain, scattered across the ground, a bit wounded, but alive.

"Mwahahahah, you'll have to do a little better than that to stand against me!" Metal Jell laughed off at what he's done as if seeing that was barely much of a challenge to him.

"Incredible, he took them out with a single blow of an attack!" Ji-Ga-No spoke out interested in that display of power, one warrior bested out an entire platoon, it's some achievement. "Is this the power that just a small dosage of the Triforce can give?" The Metallix Dragon questioned his lord in thinking that just a little sample of the Triforce makes one being this strong then what's to say of a full dosage?

"Yes, and I'll soon create more Elite Warriors like this one here." Grimmore responded with a pleased expression, he'll create others just as like Metal Jell but different in every meaning. "Not to mention, create even more powerful beings to be on closer pairing with you, my general. They shall be known as my Elite Warlords." The Overlord King proclaimed out to Ji-Ga-No that soon he'll have created those that are even stronger than the Elite Warriors class, those closer to this dragon's term of power and strength; the Elite Warlords.

"As strong as me, HA; you'll be luckily to create them by tapping in the item in question to bring out more than a small bit of that copied Triforces power!" Ji-Ga-No responded off in a sarcastic tone that the only way any new creation his master makes that can almost be on par with him, is by getting more power from the Triforce itself even if he makes copies of it from smallest to largest qualities.

"Indeed, it will take a few tries, but while I'm at it, a few powerful creatures to serve me is just as nice." Grimmore closed his eyes to look away while chatting a bit on how to imagine having stronger creatures in his army would make this all the sweeter, "And when my next creations with their power near to yours Ji-Ga-No, Equestria shall fall under a 'new' might." The Overlord King declared forth, soon, very soon, he'll have forces not only in numbers, but those whose strengths are no laughing matter and will spell 'doomsday' to all who challenge them and him. "To which, I think of letting my Elite Warriors take charge in causing some mayhem for the ponies by giving them access to travel from here to Equestria, and use whatever of the troops in the army as they see fit." The man in the throne declared out as he stared down to Metal Jell telling him that he and others like him shall take charge of causing some mayhem chaos to the ponies of Equestria.

"You are too kind, Lord Grimmore." Metal Jell humbly bowed before his king and lord, smiling in accepting this task to ruffle up some ponies.

"Hahahaaaah, so it's about time we started!" Ji-Ga-No laughed out in seeing that they can finally act now in lauching their attack, but...

"Not yet, too much power over-clasping our targets would hardly be, 'sporting' in the sense." Grimmore held up his right hand to stop his general, and smiled with his ego in wanting to be 'fair' in his vocabulary. The Overlord King likes to have a good show; entertainment is what he seeks, so why go all out when some showing of his army's might is just the first approach. "For now, we'll cause some upsides and roars, even a bit of my magic can cause some damage. But all in all, it's all for show…for the grand-moment that shall be…the certain downfall of Equestria." Grimmore exclaimed with a darken tone in knowing all to well, a few bits of his army to show their strength to bring a new threat to Equestria, and maybe at times, show off himself, but this is all but the 'Main Openings', as the 'Main Event' to the final will come when the time is right.

The gathered members in the chamber laughed wickedly before Grimmore ordered them to leave him be. Ji-Ga-No soar out of the room, Metal Jell passed the recovered Black Clays that stood up, even the captain before following their next leading commander. Once the coast was clear, a portal of flames appeared before Grimmore, but the image was a bit fuzzed out. The only distend characteristic was this person hid himself in a cloak; the coloring wasn't showing right…almost like the other user was trying to keep his appearance as much secret as possible.

"I can tell, you saw who was putting on a show for us, and is…no more." Grimmore spoke slyly to his mysterious calling, stating some facts about Tirek.

"Yes, to believe Tirek was alive, it took us by surprise," The mysterious being responded in being all to surprising to learn of Tirek's involvement in this day and age.

"Just so you know, my side is beginning to move a few steps into the play-field, not all at once, but just as nice…how about yours?" Grimmore spoke casually in stating what his side shall soon be doing and ponders the thought in what this person individually is up to.

"I've gathered my members for the Organization and the latest recruits….one of them being my daughter and her associate friends." This mysterious being responded with a solitude tone in mentioning how he's creating an 'organization', and something of involving his own daughter.

"My, my, bring family into the business. Isn't that nice and should I address you for having connections with Smaug?" Grimmore smirked to learning and knowing of what this mysterious being was saying and he was almost going to say his name relating to a terrible unicorn of long ago; Smaug.

"No, just…Superior will be fine." The mysterious hooded figure in cloak responded as he just wanted to be responded; as the Superior.

"Hmph, very well Superior. You do what you must on your side and I'll stir up something on my side." Grimmore nods with an easy going smile, seeing that the Superior wants to have things his way for the time being as both of them have plans it seems. "Everyone believes I'm cocky but they'll say anything to move pass their fears…that I'm someone to be feared. You and I both are the types, now aren't we?" His eyes stretched out in a most wickedly vile and threatening manner as if stating to all the fools out there, to never bite off more than they can chew when opposing something they should fear, both the Overlord King, even the Superior here, are those type of beings themselves.

"Yes, we'll begin a few steps here for our cause, and soon…all will be within our grasp of the destiny that awaits us." The Superior nods before stating off that all of his efforts and organization are working towards the same goal.

"I wouldn't have it any other way…yes." Grimmore nods in hearing this, and smiles in absorbing all of that, for it means…the time of the grand-finale will come that will spell 'The End' for Equestria. The only thing about this, while some villains argue it can't come sooner, this one…wants to have some 'fun' before the darken hour arrives, "Mwahahahahahah-Waaahahahahahaaaa!" Soon the mad laughter echoed out from the thrown chamber and across the entire prison of Tartarus. As the threat to Equestria is not being brought by the Grimmore Army, but by another force, things will not be as quiet and settled as others may think. For in truth, evil never sleeps, it lies within the shadows of every corner…preparing….TO STRIKE!
