The Caterpie Effect

What happens when a caterpie inexplicably ends up in Equestria? War of course.

A poor nearly defenseless caterpillar appears in Ponyville, no pony knows what it is, so Twilight tries to find out, and somehow, hundreds of new creatures appear, and war breaks out. What will become of the beloved town of cartoon ponies? Why should you care about that? What about the caterpie?!

Human tag not because Twilight and friends are, but because the trainer is.

Additional note: Please, if you don't like pokemon, don't be like 'oh its a pokefic' and click dislike because of that, it really doesn't help anyone if you do that, I'm not saying you can't, just that I would appreciate it if you didn't.

Caterpie in Equestria

View Online

Caterpie was chilling in his pokeball, waiting for his trainer to send him out, maybe he could go back to day care and meet that other caterpie again. She was pretty cute. Man, he would do anything to see the daycare manager's face when she saw the egg again. That was priceless. Caterpie didn't understand why she was so surprised, it's only nature. He felt bad for catershe though, the egg was much larger than her. Anyways, maybe he'd meet another caterpie, just as a friend though. He did like friends. Caterpie missed his trainer's ponyta, she was pretty neat, in a scary sort of way. Something about the flaming mane set caterpie off. Too bad his trainer decided to get growlithe and replace ponyta. He was cool and all too, but, he wasn't as much of a talker as ponyta. He more of just stood there waiting for a command. Hey, maybe today caterpie would see a legendary pokemon? Or maybe, the trainer would finally challenge the pokemon league! Whatever happened though, caterpie loved his trainer.

Caterpie was thinking of what could possibly happen, when he heard the familiar 'bom' a pokeball makes when a pokemon is sent out. Caterpie stretched his back and looked around. There was another pokemon standing in front of him, but, it wasn't a pokemon. It was strangely human-like. Caterpie recognized where he was. It was similar to the Pewter City gym, but more wrecked, and less rocks.

"Mewtwo, your reign of terror will end here! Caterpie use headbutt!"

Caterpie decided the pokeman was what his trainer wanted him to attack. So he ran a few steps and jumped, head first. Caterpie's skull collided with the pokeman's. Caterpie jumped back and waited for his next command. The pokeman stood there like nothing happened.

"Was that supposed to hurt?" Mewtwo asked in a deep voice that seemed to reverberate around the ruins.

"Oh trust me, when caterpie uses his best move, it will sting in the morning."

"Hm, well, I suppose it's my turn." Mewtwo said. "Trans-dimensional rift!" He put his wrists together and spread his fingers, revealing his palms. Then he turned his hands so his right fingers were above his hands and left fingers below. A purple glow came from his wrists. The glow expanded for a while, then, everything around caterpie seemed to move towards the pokeman. Caterpie felt the wind getting sucked in too. Caterpie glanced back at his trainer in horror. He was holding onto a post and reaching for the pokeball that was used to catch caterpie, now resting on his belt. Caterpie had nothing to grab to slow the pull of the vortex. He shot string on the floor to hold himself down. The string broke and he was sent flying into the purpleness. The view of the world was a quickly fading circle. Caterpie's last sight was his trainer.

Caterpie was falling. Falling, but where to? There was nothing but darkness. Caterpie was going to miss his trainer, and he knew his trainer would miss him. They've been together since caterpie hatched. Trainer was 6 or 7 then. He was digging around his garden when he found caterpie's egg. When caterpie hatched, the trainer hugged him. He spent all his allowance to buy a poke ball so he could catch caterpie. Caterpie remembered getting the first gym badge, then the second, then the third. Trainer loved caterpie. He wouldn't go anywhere without caterpie. Trainer has most certainly caught more powerful pokemon that caterpie, but he never got rid of him. Caterpie was remembering those fun hours at day care with catershe when he felt something brush past him several times. He recognized them as leaves. Then, he hid something, hard. The collision should have killed him, but he was a bug type, which are strong to ground, so he only took half the damage.

Caterpie lied on the ground, he knew he wasn't falling anymore, which was a good thing. He lied there, then felt something grab him. It felt like hooves. Maybe Trainer sent ponyta in after caterpie to save him. No, Trainer uses growlithe now. He has paws. Maybe a wild giraffarig or deerling found him and was going to take him to the herd or give him an oran berry. Or maybe, just maybe, the trans-dimensional rift sent caterpie to an alternate dimension full of cartoon equines, some of which posses magical powers and others fly that was actually a cartoon in Trainer's world that was originally designed to teach little girls valuable lessons about friendship but many people found the show hilarious and watch it anyways and that it really wasn't a cartoon, but recorded television and that's where caterpie is now. Nah, that's preposterous.

"What are you little thing?" a soothing, motherly voice said. The owner of the voice picked Caterpie up. "it's all right, I won't hurt you. Open your eyes little guy."

Caterpie obeyed the voice. He opened his eyes and looked. There was a yellow horse holding him.

"Caterpie?" he asked. Maybe this was a newly discovered pokemon, or maybe an undiscovered pokemon.

"What's your name?"

"Caterpie?"

"Hello Caterpie, I'm Fluttershy."

"Cat?"

"No silly, it's Fluttershy, not Cat."

"Erpie?"

"Oh my, I have to go get Twilight." The so called 'Fluttershy' put Caterpie on her back and spread her wings. She began to fly somewhere.

Maybe this is rapidash's mega form? Her mane does flow like fire. Caterpie looked down at the ground. Maybe if he jumped, he could live the fall again. No, too risky. He had to trust this pegasus. As Caterpie watched what whizzed by below, he saw several other pony like creatures. There was a giant tree in the middle of town that the pegasus seemed to aim for. She flew right through the leaves and ended up in a library of some sort. There were several books, some similar, others not. Many new, but most appearing to be ancient. Caterpie stayed on the pegasus's back. It was very soft, nearly plush, and it was very comfortable. Something about this equine seemed lovely. Caterpie was sure he wasn't the first pokemon on this back.

Caterpie snuggled down, figuring it was ok to take a nap. It was a pretty stressful day. Losing his world AND Trainer. Is there any way today could be worse? Well, let's hope not. Caterpie was about to fall asleep when the hooves grabbed him again. They held him in front of the pony. There was another one there too. This one was purple and had a horn. Something about her seemed intelligent. She looked at Caterpie, which Fluttershy was presenting. The alicorn's stare seemed to peer into Caterpie's soul. It was as though she could see everything, all his secrets, his wishes, almost as if she knew more about Caterpie than he did.

"What is it Twilight?" Fluttershy asked.

"I, don't know. Though it appears to be a caterpillar." The alicorn said.

"Well, when I picked it up, it said 'Caterpie' and nothing else."

"So, well, may I see it?" Twilight reached out.

"Uhh, sure." Fluttershy slowly released Caterpie.

"CATER!" Caterpie screamed. These new hooves were not at all as soft and comforting as Fluttershy's. He bent his body and shot his string at Twilight's face. The sticky white goop covered all but her eyes.

"What, was that?" Twilight asked after wiping her face clean. She leaned in towards Caterpie closer as if the answer was written on his forehead. Caterpie saw the opportunity to get free.

Caterpie used headbutt. It's super effective!

Opponent Twilight Sparkle fainted.

Caterpie gained 1365 exp.

Caterpie leveled up.

What's this? Caterpie is evolving!

"Where is that voice coming from?" Fluttershy asked quietly as she watched Caterpie glow and slowly change shape. "And what do you think you're doing mister?" Fluttershy shouted at Caterpie.

Caterpie jumped at the scare. He stopped changing shape and turned back to Caterpie.

"Cater!" Caterpie thanked Fluttershy.

"I don't understand, what are you saying?"

Caterpie crawled over to Twilight and licked her unconscious body.

"What, happened?" Twilight asked, putting a hoof to her head where Caterpie hit her.

"I'm not sure." Fluttershy said.

"Maybe, it's a rare type of caterpillar, I'll go check my books." Twilight said as she ran to her bookshelf.

"Ok, and I'll take a nap while you do that." Fluttershy said. She wandered over to a corner and curled up. Caterpie followed close behind. Caterpie looked at Fluttershy and gave her the most adorable puppy dog eyes ever. Fluttershy reached out and pulled Caterpie closer with a smile. "You're a cute little fella." She said with a yawn. Caterpie yawned too and curled up on Fluttershy's stomach. Her fur on her stomach was softer than the rest if it was possible! Caterpie and Fluttershy fell asleep together.

Caterpie was half asleep when he saw a flash of purple light through his eyelids. He woke up and crawled away from Fluttershy.

"Cat? Caterpie asked. He saw two identical alicorns standing side by side.

"TWILIGHT!" one shouted at the other who was muzzle deep in a book about various bugs.

"Huh? Future Twi! You're back!"

"Yes, I came to tell you what that caterpillar is." Future Twilight said.

"What is it? And don't say a bug." Present Twilight said.

"It's a pokemon!"

"A pokey what?"

"A pokemon. They're mystical creatures from a mythical land where humans exist too. They have amazing powers. I haven't quite figured out what this one does, but it's name is Caterpie. Also, here. Two things that I think will really help you." Future Twilight gave Past Twilight a white and red ball and a red box with a few buttons. "This is a pokeball, use it to capture Caterpie. It will form a bond between you two so you can understand what he is saying. And that is a pokedex, use it to get information about any pokemon you see. Trust me, it will come in handy. And one more thing, get Caterpie home as fast as possible. You will not like what follows if he stays too long. Also." Future Twilight punched Past Twilight. "That's for punching me when I was younger!" There was another flash of purple light and Future Twilight was gone.

"Well then." Twilight put the pokedex down and looked at the pokeball. She trotted over to Fluttershy's slumbering form, where Caterpie was still sitting. Caterpie panicked and dove back under Fluttershy. He accidentally woke her up.

"Huh, wha?" Fluttershy lifted her head and looked at Twilight. "What's that?" she asked, sitting up and stretching with a yawn.

"This is a pokeball, I'm supposed to capture Caterpie so I can read his thoughts or something. Thing is, I have no clue how it works." Twilight said, holding out the pokeball.

"Let me see." Fluttershy took the pokeball and looked at it. "Well, there's a button here. So maybe you're supposed to do this." Fluttershy held the pokeball out to Caterpie and pushed the button. Nothing happened. "Umm, maybe you do th-" Fluttershy was about to say more when Caterpie jumped at the pokeball and hit the button with his head. It opened immediately and sucked caterpie in. "What?" Fluttershy asked as the ball shook in her grasp. There was a faint 'ding' and it flashed white momentarily. "Uhh. What did I just do?"

[Yay! Finally! I can talk to somebody!]

"Uhh, Twilight, did you say something?"

"No, why."

"I think there's a voice in my head."

[It's ok Fluttershy, it's only Caterpie. You caught me, so now we are forever linked. You can finally understand what I'm saying. Thank Arceus too, my last trainer was too thick skulled to hear me, but I still loved him.]

"Caterpie?" Fluttershy looked at the ball in her hooves in amazement.

"What's he saying?" Twilight demanded.

"I can, talk to you? And you can talk to me?" Fluttershy asked.

[Yup. Now, push the button on the pokeball and throw it on the ground.]

"Ummm, ok." Fluttershy did as she was told. The pokeball burst open and Caterpie popped out.

"Cater!" he said happily.

"So, I suppose now that we have a place for Caterpie to live when he isn't needed, we should figure out how to send him back." Twilight suggested.

"Oh, all right." Fluttershy said, slightly upset.

[I don't know why, but something tells me you shouldn't send me home.]

"Caterpie says we shouldn't try to sen him back." Fluttershy said, perking up.

"What? Why not?" Twilight asked, a slight edge in her voice. "Don't you remember what happened last time we didn't send a visitor back? I still feel the burn."

"Well, yeah but, that was a human. This is a pokemon. Shouldn't we at least do some research on it?"

"Fine. I'll research Caterpie, and you do whatever. Just stay out of my hair."

Caterpie's trainer was running up a huge mountain. Several rock pokemon stared at him as he passed, curious as to what he was doing, some went up to ask, but he responded by knocking them out. Eventually, he got to the top. The journey didn't tire him out due to adrenaline.

"Mewtwo!" he shouted from the top of Mt. Coronet. "You stole something I loved, and I will not let you do that to anyone else! You ran from me at the abandoned arena, only a coward runs from a fight. Now, you will answer for your crimes. GO AGGRON!" There was a flash of white as a giant dinosaur-like pokemon popped out of his pokeball. It screamed like metal scraping on metal.

"Hm. I see you finally captured a powerful pokemon." Mewtwo taunted.

"This guy is your worst nightmare. You and I both know that caterpie was super powerful. Aggron here is at least twice as strong." The trainer turned his Ash unlimitedĀ© hat backwards. "Aggron use rock blast!"

"AGGRON!" His pokemon responded. It's horn glowed silver and the silver shot from it, smashing into Mewtwo's face.

"Hm. A very powerful pokemon indeed. Stronger than that weakling of a pokemon you love so much. Tell me Tim, how could a trainer like you with so much potential love such a tiny worthless pokemon as caterpie?"

Tim's face turned white. "How do you know my name?" He asked.

"I am the ultimate life form. I know everything."

"That is a lie! I'm the ultimate life form!" an unknown voice called form the sky.

"Get out of here Shadow, Sonic isn't here!" Mewtwo shouted in response, shooting a blast of energy where the voice came from.

"Gah! Ok, sorry." The voice vanished and Mewtwo turned back to Tim just in time to get a face full of rock blast.

"Hah! Take that Mewtwo!" Tim laughed.

"That wasn't fair. Oh well, I'll still win. DRAIN PUNCH!" Mewtwo charged at aggron and punched him. After the hit, Mewtwo seemed to be in a better condition. Aggron fell back, putting on of his claws to his face as if that would help. "Give up yet Tim?"

"Never."

"Trans-dimensional rift!" Mewtwo moved his hands again and a purple light sucked aggron in before he could do anything.

"NO! NOT AGAIN!" Tim shouted when aggron vanished.

"Well, goodbye Tim." Mewtwo turned around. "Dialga, Palkia. I summon thee!" Two portals, one pink, one blue, appeared. Two dragon looking pokemon came out of them. They shouted simultaneously. Everything shook, and anything that moved seemed to go slower until the two creatures stopped. "You must do whatever I tell you to." Mewtwo flew up to their heads and touched both of them. Their eyes, previously a look of rage and hatred, turned into one of peace and understanding. "And two more dominoes fall." Mewtwo said with a devilish grin.

Fluttershy was walking home with Caterpie walking beside her. She stopped by Rarity's place and she made Fluttershy a belt to hold the pokeball, well, it was more like a sash, but whatever.

"So, what should we do while Twilight figures out how to send you back?" Fluttershy asked.

[I don't know. My old trainer just kind of let me chill in his pokeball.] Caterpie explained.

"Well, that's a lot to go on. You want to go back in the pokeball or stay out?"

[I guess I'll stay out. You know, new world and all, I just want to see what you do here.]

"Oh, ok. So, just out of curiosity, what were you doing when you were sent here?"

[I was fighting this one super powerful pokemon. He's a lot tougher than I imagined. I don't even know why, but my trainer seemed kind of mad at it for something.]

"So, your old trainer made you fight? Why did you do it? That's mean to do to someone so small and cute as you."

[Yeah, but I'm a pokemon, we're supposed to fight.]

"Really?"

[Yup.]

"Well, did you like fighting?"

[I didn't really care.]

"Have you ever lost a fight?"

[Not very often, but yes.]

"So, you kept fighting even though you got beat up a lot?"

[Yeah, but the winning trainer gets money, and my trainer used his winnings to get berries, rare candies, poke blocks, poffins, and other stuff for me and the other pokemon.]

"Well, so does it pay off in the end?"

[Oh yeah, especially when he gets us rare candies. They taste so good. Better than the best thing you've ever had!]

"Hm. So, how about we go to my cottage and you help me make some rare candies or poffins or something?"

[Sure.]

Caterpie crawled up onto Fluttershy's back.

[I hope you don't mind, my feet were getting a little sore.]

"I don't care."

Fluttershy continued to her cottage and talked to Caterpie on the way. She stopped when she heard a scream similar to metal scraping on metal.

[What was that?] Caterpie asked, a little scared. [Please tell me that a construction worker just dropped something.]

"I wish I could." Fluttershy's eyes were wipe open with fear. She noticed there was a crater in the ground. She slowly inched towards it.

[What are you doing? Fluttershy, don't. Please don't, we can come back later. OH ARCEUS NO!]

"What is it?" Fluttershy asked no pony in particular when she noticed a huge silver and black lump of metal in the pit. After a couple moments of staring, it moved. Fluttershy jumped. She craned her neck to see in better. Whatever it was stood up. It appeared to be a giant raptor. It stuck it's tail in the air and let it fall to the ground. There was a loud thud when it collided with the soil. Fluttershy shot her head back to it's normal position. The creature lifted it's head up. There were three horns protruding from the top.

[AGGRON!] Caterpie shouted in Fluttershy's mind.

"What? CATERPIE DON'T!" Fluttershy screamed when Caterpie leaped off of her back. He ran up to the creature and softly butted it with his head. The raptor-like thing looked over it's shoulder at Caterpie, eyes red with rage. The instant it saw Caterpie, it calmed down and it's eyes turned back to the regular stoney brown.

"Aggron!" it said happily.

"Cata!" Caterpie said.

The metal thing reached down to Caterpie and petted him.

"Caterpie, what's happening?" Fluttershy asked.

[This is my old friend Aggron! Trainer must have challenged the pokeman again.]

"Aggro agg?" Aggron asked.

"Caterpie pie." Caterpie answered.

"What?" Fluttershy asked.

[He was wondering who you were, I told him you were our new trainer.]

"But, I don't have a second pokeball."

[I can make you one. I picked up a thing or two when I was at daycare.]

"Ok, so umm, Aggron, you want to come with us?"

Aggron nodded, and the three went to Fluttershy's cottage.

"Mewtwo, I don't know what you're planning to do, but I will end it! Growlithe, flamethrower!" Tim shouted riding his pidgeot, growlithe on one wing and snorunt on the other.

"What?" Mewtwo stopped flying and the stream of fire hit him. "Ugg, you insignificant little." He rubbed his face. "Dialga, Palkia, take care of them." he commanded before flying off again. The two pokemon appeared out of nowhere. No doubt using Palkia's command over space to stay hidden. The two beings roared.

"Snorunt, use ice beam on Palkia, growlithe, flamethrower on Dialga!" his pokemon did as they were told. Palkia froze so just his wings were free, Dialga stopped fighting to help break Palkia free. "Pidgeot, use quick attack to catch up to Mewtwo!"

"Pidgey!" the giant pigeon responded and flew off at a hypersonic speed. Tim clutched down after returning growlithe and snorunt.

"I'm coming for you Mewtwo."

Mewtwo was already far ahead. Having Dialga secretly use roar of time to slow Tim and speed Mewtwo up, he was so far ahead and so much faster that he could easily get the next few legendaries to help him before Tim caught up. Mewtwo was zooming to the Hoenn region when he looked in the ocean below. A giant whale like pokemon was below, followed by two small blue pokemon somewhat resembling people and jellyfish at the same time.

"Perfect, you made my mission easier for me. MANAPHY, KYOGRE, PHIONE! Rise from the ocean, listen to me!"

They stopped swimming. Kyogre lifted it's head from the water while Manaphy and Phione sat on it's forehead. The three pokemon stared at Mewtwo. He floated down to them.

"What do you want Mewtwo?" Manaphy asked through a neural message. "You interrupted our game of tag."

"I have an offer that you can't refuse. How would you three like to share control of the world with me?"

"What do you mean?"

"You do what I tell you to, and when we own the world, you get your own share."

"I don't know." Manaphy pondered what they should do. "What do you think Kyogre?"

"Eaaauhaa." Kyogre responded.

"Good point. What about you Phione?"

Phione was staring at Mewtwo. "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers." she said to Mewtwo before hugging Manaphy.

"Well, may we at least shake hands and wish each other a good day while you think about it?" Mewtwo asked.

"Sure." Manaphy used her limited psychic power to levitate her and Phione up to Mewtwo. They shook hands and Mewtwo went down to Kyogre and patted it on the head. When they made contact with Mewtwo, something told the pokemon to follow him.

"Good day." Mewtwo said before flying a few meters away.

"Wait." Manaphy said. "We'll do it."

Mewtwo grinned evilly. "Good." he said. Another piece to the puzzle.

"Ok Aggron, I'm going to catch you now." Fluttershy said as she held the new pokeball.

"Agga aggron." he replied.

Fluttershy went up and tapped the button of the pokeball on Aggron's head. he disappeared and the pokeball started shaking. It made a light bing and stopped shaking. Fluttershy threw it on the ground and Aggron popped out.

"Well, that went well."

[Yup.] both Aggron and Caterpie said.

Mewtwo's Quest

"Dialga, Palkia, did you finish the boy?" Mewtwo asked the sky.

Two huge beings appeared in front of him. "No master." the pink one said.

"He froze Palkia, and I am not powerful enough to beat his team, they are stronger than they look." the blue one said.

"No worries. I have removed his two most powerful teammates and we know three more. There is one left we don't know about, and I got three more additions to our team." Mewtwo replied.

"Really?" Palkia asked.

"Who?" Dialga inquired.

"Kyogre, Manaphy, and Phione."

"Sir, we have too many water types. What if his last pokemon is a raichu or something?" Dialga asked.

"Well, that's why our next target is Groudon."

"I see. So, where are Kyogre and the others?"

"They are roaming the oceans, looking to see if there are any other legendary pokemon there. You never know."

"So, what if we need them? How will they get to us?" Palkia asked.

"Manaphy and Phione have a slight psychic power that allows them levitation, and Kyogre, though he doesn't let many know, can fly."

"Well then."

"Yes. So, we need Groudon. Then we will get Celebi and Jirachi."

"Well, it shouldn't be too hard, Mt. Pyre is a few minutes fly away." Palkia pointed out.

"And the humans foolishly returned the blue orb to the top." Dialga said.

"Good, the humans have brought their own demise then. Come." Mewtwo turned away and flew off toward Mt. Pyre. Palkia grabbed Dialga and forced space to bend around them to make them invisible. The three were oblivious to the fact that Tim was watching them from afar.

"Good job claydol. I must say, your light screen is getting better. It somehow made light bend around us. Cool. Anyways, return. Pidgeot, chase."

"Kwaa." Pidgeot screamed and dashed off after Mewtwo.

When Mewtwo, Dialga, and Palkia arrived at the top of Mt. Pyre, Palkia made Mewtwo invisible also. They had no clue that Tim beat them there and switched the blue orb out for a sapphire orb.

"Good job guys. Now, we just have to go to the underwater cavern and awaken Groudon." Mewtwo said after lifting up the sapphire. He gripped it to his body and space bent around it too. The three flew away. The two old women that protected the orbs stared at the stairs.

"You know, this job is boring." The slightly older one said, adjusting the candle headband on her head.

"Yeah, but it's very important, without us, Team Aqua or Team Magma would rise again." The other said.

"Hey, did you hear something?"

"No, why?"

The older one looked back. "Sister, the blue orb is gone."

"What?" The other turned around. "Mother of Arceus."

"So, Team Magma must be at it again."

"Yes. You scan the tower, I'll get the red orb."

"Empoleon, Feralligatr, Swampert, Blastoise come out! Find any and all Team Magma personnel and take the blue orb back! Code blue!" Her pokemon nodded understanding and went off in different directions.

"Wait, why are we flying? Can't you guys transport us there?" Mewtwo asked the invisible creatures.

"Well, no. My control over space, though I can alter it, can not transport. What it actually does is it moves the world. It throws all machines with coordinates off, and I promised Lucas, the trainer who freed me from Cyrus, that I would never do it." Palkia explained still in his mystical veil of invisibility.

"And my control of time is shared with Celebi, I can't time travel to make us skip the flying, only make it faster or slower."

"Hm, make it faster. We haven't got much time until the trainers or other legendaries get word of our plan, especially with that Tim kid following us." Mewtwo said, slightly disappointed. "Kyogre, come to me!" he shouted. A huge whale flew out of the ocean and up to Mewtwo.

"Yes master?" He asked.

"Did you find anybody in the ocean?"

"No, sorry."

"It's all right. You may go back to searching."

"Ok, wait, why do you need legendary pokemon again?"

"Well, I want control of the world, and the legends are the most powerful and feared pokemon of them all, so with all of them under my control, nothing will stand in my way of control."

"So Twi, what do yah want me to do?" Applejack asked.

"Fluttershy has found these two creatures called pokemon, and they aren't native to our world." Twilight explained.

"So, what do ya want me to do Twi?"

"I need you to help her get as much information about them as you can."

"And how will I do that?"

"I don't know! Just, go and talk to her get her to ask the pokemon questions or something! I need someone to actually do some research while I search my archives, and Fluttershy isn't answering her phone or going into town anymore. I'm kind of worried, but I know that Caterpie and that new one, Aggron, will keep her safe."

"Ok then, uhh, bye." Applejack said sceptically before leaving. When she left the library, she turned her head back to look at the door. Maybe I should help her, something is obviously wrong. She thought. Nah, it's probably just because she can't get a stallion and its getting to her, heh, maybe I'll hook her up on a date with Mac. Applejack turned back and happily trotted back to Sweet Apple Acres. "Ohh Maaac." she shouted upon entering her family's property.

Fluttershy was sitting at home with plenty of pokeballs, rare candies, poffins, and other pokemon delicacies. She fed Caterpie and Aggron their fill of foods, and she set the pokeballs aside in case any more pokemon appeared in Equestria.

"So, do you two want to battle to, train or whatever?"

[Sure.] Caterpie agreed.

[All right.] Aggron also agreed.

"Well, there's a fairly open field out back. You want to go there?"

[Sounds good. Caterpie said then jumped onto Fluttershy's back, waiting for her to take him there.

"Follow me Aggron." she said as she went through the house to the back door. "Oh yeah. I forgot you were so tall." Fluttershy laughed when Aggron struggled through the door. "I'll never understand how you made it through that. Well, Caterpie, get off, we're here."

Caterpie jumped off of Fluttershy's back [Thank you. Now, lets battle!] Caterpie and Aggron went to opposite ends of the small field.

"CATA!" Caterpie charged at Aggron full speed and smashed heads together.

"AGG!" Aggron reeled from the impact then charged at caterpie with his head down, ramming his horn into the bug's side.

The two pokemon continued to exchange attacks for a few minutes, both refusing to lose. Eventually, they got so exhausted that they barely tapped each other when they attacked.

"Aggron agga ron?" Aggron asked.

"Pie Cata ter." Caterpie agreed.

"What?" Fluttershy asked.

[We're calling it a draw.] Caterpie said.

"Oh, ok, here, you two take a break." Fluttershy took the pokeballs off of her sash and returned the pokemon. Then she went back into her living room and stared out the window down the path to Ponyville. She saw her good friend Applejack coming towards her house, a satisfied grin on her face. She opened the door and waved to the orange Earth pony.

"Fluttershy!" She shouted happily then picked up her pace.

"Hey Applejack, whats up?"

"I'm worried about ya. Twi said something about you doing something with your pokemon or something, I just wanna know, what is that exactly?"

"Oh well, here, a pokemon is..." Fluttershy started to explain before she trailed off, staring at a purple oval just off the trail. Several bugs and small birds fell out of it.

"What is it Shy? Yoohoo, you there? Anypony home?" Applejack waved a hoof in front of Fluttershy's face. Fluttershy grabbed her friend's hoof and put it on the ground then pointed at the purple oval, her friend followed the hoof and looked. "What the buck is that?"

"I don't know, but I have a feeling those are pokemon." Fluttershy darted into her house and came back to her friend with several pokeballs quickly thrown into a satchel. "I'm going to find out." Fluttershy cautiously trotted up to the portal.

"Ugg, now don't do that, aww Shy, come back here!" Applejack chased after the butter yellow pegasus.

The two mares hid behind a bush.

"What are you doing Shy?" The orange pony asked.

"I'm going to catch them, to keep them safe!"

"Aww, don't tell me that you're going through stallion withdrawal too!"

"What? No. I'm not kidding."

"Come on, this is obviously some magical spell from Twilight to clear out her basement again, you know how it gets when she doesn't go there for a while."

Fluttershy was about to give a clever retort when there was a large blast from the portal followed by the crackling of instantly frozen plants.

"What was that?" Applejack asked, her voice filled with worry.

"Don't worry, I got this." Fluttershy stood up and pulled out a pokeball. She put it in her forehoof and pulled it back to throw. A huge bird flew at her and knocked her to the ground then flew away. She fell to the ground, unconscious, and her bag's contents were spilled.

"HEY! THATS NOT NICE!" Applejack shouted at the bird. She picked up a pokeball and threw it. The ball hit the bird's cheek and the bird vanished instantly. The pokeball fell to the ground and Applejack walked up to it slowly. "What the heck?" It made a bing and then there was a voice in Applejack's head.

[What did you go and do that for?] it asked.

"What the?"

[You captured me idiot, now you'll be forced to hear me forever.]

"Where is that voice coming from? SHOW YOURSELF!" Applejack punctuated her command by stamping her hoof to the ground.

[I'm in the pokeball, now can you do me a favor and go capture the Snorunt and Growlithe please?]

Applejack walked up to the pokeball and held it. "The what and the what?"

[Oh dear Arceus, I'll walk you through it then. Stupid novice trainers.]

"Where is it?" Mewtwo asked no poke in particular.

"What are you looking for sir?" Dialga asked.

"Celebi."

Dialga roared. "I hate that lousy piece of crap! Hes so annoying!"

"Go torment someone else ok, I'm finding Celebi no matter what you say." Mewtwo said as he made a purple vortex to clear the several forest pokemon standing in his way.

"Fine, PALKIA, your turn." Dialga flew out of the woods and Palkia flew in.

"I heard your conversation, so why get Celebi? Why not go get Groudon first?" Palkia asked

"This is why!" Mewtwo took one hand from his vortex and made the sapphire orb appear in his hand. He gripped it and it shattered. "It's not the blue orb. I'm getting Celebi so we can go back to before the blue orb was switched for a fake!"

"Well, sir, I think I can locate Celebi."

"DO IT, I DEMAND YOU OBEY MY COMMAND!" Mewtwo shouted after grabbing Palkia's neck and staring in his eyes, his gaze alone making Palkia feel as if his soul were being stolen.

"OK, ok, whatever you command master!" Palkia said, panicked. Mewtwo released him and he used his spatial powers to locate all moving creatures in the area. Mewtwo continued going through the woods with his vortex in search of Celebi.

"Pidgeot, gust! Growlithe, flamethrower! Snorunt, ice beam!" Tim shouted, flying in at high speeds. His pidgeot flew in place while the three pokemon attacked Mewtwo.

"I don't have time for this!" Mewtwo aimed the vortex at Tim and his pokemon. Tim jumped off and got out of the way in a state of adrenaline, barely escaping.

"NOOO, NOT AGAIN!" Tim's eyes welled at the corner and tears began to fall.

"What does a human, like you, weep over pokemon. You do not love them, you use them as tools!" Mewtwo scolded.

"No, you're wrong, pokemon are my friends, they are my partners! You use the legends as weapons of war! When you achieve your goal, you won't grant them any power, you'll just use them to destroy each other so you are the only pokemon left and you control the world! You are a heartless fiend!"

"LEAVE!" Mewtwo's voice reverberated around inside Tim's head, then he blacked out. Mewtwo continued on his search. Palkia soon came up to him.

"Sir, I have captured Celebi, and Dialga has managed to temporarily disable her time travel ability."

"Good." Mewtwo touched Celebi's forehead. "You are now mine!"

"So, you're telling me that Twilight wasn't kidding? You guys are pokemon?"

[Yup.]Pidgeot said.

"Wow, I owe her so much."

[Where are we?] Snorunt asked.

[Looks like someone finally woke up] Growlithe said with an edge in his voice.

[Shut up man, some of us fell in head first, what even happened?]

[Trainer, that worthless jerk, abandoned us!]

[No way, really?]

[Yeah, maybe if you weren't sleeping, you would know these things!]

"Woah, guys, calm down! Look, after all that explanation from Growlithe and Pidgeot, I see where you guys are coming from. I understand why you'd be mad or sad or whatever you are, but hey, you got me now! Here, you guys just take a nap, when you wake up you'll feel a little better and we can talk about it."

[Some of us don't need one.] Growlithe said, Applejack could feel him staring daggers through the pokeballs at Snorunt.

"GO TO SLEEP!" she commanded.

Mewtwo's Promise

"Celebi, take us back in time to before the Blue Orb was swapped out with a fake!" Mewtwo shouted at the small being

"Be BEE!" Celebi's antenna glowed pink at the tips, and the world around them slowly turned into a sepia tone color.

"Interesting, I had no idea that time changed the color when we went back."

"Yes, it also changes to a monotone when you go forward in time."

"Really?"

"Yes, now I suggest we hurry, there isn't much time before the orbs are switched."

"Ok." Mewtwo flew off towards Mt. Pyre, Celebi close behind, flying on her little pixie wings.

"Celebi, do you think you could take us back a few minutes to ensure that the orb is real?"

"Sure, I can take us back five minutes, but any more and it would risk ripping the time-space-continuum. Be BEE!" Celebi's antenna glowed again and the brown colors of everything became more clear.

"Careful." Mewtwo said, slowly flying towards the blue orb. He managed to grab it and float to safety before the old women saw him, then he replaced the orb with the repaired sapphire he found the first time. "Just so the one who replaced the orb gets a fake one too. Now, you can take us back to the present Celebi."

"BEE be!" Then Celebi's antenna glowed blue, and color returned to normal, one old woman gone and various water pokemon searching the area.

"So, what gives, why could you only take us back a few minutes?"

"I can freely travel between centuries as you know and it requires no energy, but taking others back in time takes immense effort, humans take much less than pokemon though, hey, speaking of which, do you want to meet May?"

"No. We have to get Groudon, now."

"I believe we already have." Celebi said, pointing behind Mewtwo. Mewtwo turned around.

"What the? How?" Mewtwo asked at the sight. Groudon was riding on the back of Kyogre, already under his control.

"You went and summoned me using the blue orb, then you touched my forehead or something. Dialga and Celebi stayed behind when you went out to find the next legendary pokemon. Then Dialga and Celebi took me back in time to now and swapped the present me out with the future me, so now the future me, who trusts you wholly is the present me, so I follow you, and in the future since you convinced me, I follow you already so, it works, I don't try to understand time, I just deal with it." Groudon explained.

"Seems legit." Mewtwo said. "So, who's the next legendary?"

"Well, as Rayquaza is the easiest to get legend now that you have Kyogre and I, we should save him for last, get the hard ones out of the way. So instead, lets go for Raiku. He is the closest legend and he has little protection."

"I thought we wanted to save the easy ones for last."

"Yeah, but, all the others are so far."

"Ugg, you sound like my mother, and by mother, I of course mean the scientist that actually recreated Mew's DNA and made me."

"Don't you sass me!" Groudon laughed. "Well, good luck with Raiku, I'm just gonna chill here with Kyogre, I'm kind of tired."

"All right, thanks." Mewtwo flew off to the thunder fields.

"This is so BORING!" Mewtwo shouted after a couple minutes.

"Mewtwo! I have caught wind of your plan, is it true that you are trying to take over the world?" Arceus asked after coming down from the sky.

"No. Why would you suspect me of such mutiny?" Mewtwo lied terribly.

"Mewtwo, I can tell you're lying." The god said.

Mewtwo's face went pale, then he dashed off.

"Dark mode activate!" Arceus shouted. An array of plates appeared in front of him and the blackest one flew to him. It stuck in his body brace and he became dark type. He flew after Mewtwo at twice his speed.

"NOT SO FAST!" a dark shape darted from the ground and collided with Arceus.

"GAH! DANG IT GIRITINA! I SAID YOU'RE GROUNDED!" Arceus screamed.

"Mewtwo, go on with your quest! I promise to keep Arceus at bay from you, so long as you promise to not forget me! NOBODY EVER REMEMBERS ME!" Giritina dashed to Arceus and headbutted him again. "RUN!" he shouted.

Mewtwo didn't know what to do, but he fled anyway

"MEWTWO!"

"Arceus, can't I catch a break? I want to go ten minutes without someone trying to stop me!" Mewtwo shouted angrily.

"You will not escape this time!" Tim shouted.

"For the love of ditto." Mewtwo reached towards Tim and tried to make his usual vortex, but failed. "WHAT?" He looked at his wrist. "Arceus, I swear when I get my hands on you, your little tussle with Giritina will be the least of your worries.

"Claydol hyper beam!" Time shouted as loud as he could.

There was a noise that sounded a lot like a video game glitching as Claydol deciphered the request, then a red beam surrounded by white light blasted from it's eye and shot Mewtwo.

"Son of a female dog!" Mewtwo shouted when the beam went through his stomach. "That hurt, you little twerp!"

"Claydol, use hyper beam over and over!"

The glitch-like noise came again and the beam appeared again. It lasted for several seconds then it slowly thinned out.

"Use fire blast!"

Claydol made the noise, then five stars made of pure flame shot towards Mewtwo.

"My turn! Shadow ball!" A ball of dark energy formed at Mewtwo's finger tips and shot at Claydol. It knocked him from the sky, and he and Tim plummeted towards the ocean.

"ARCEUS HELP!!!" Tim screamed on his way to the ocean. There was a flash of green before Tim blacked out.

"Now, with him out of the way, I can take Raiku, then Suicune, then Entei. Then nothing will stand in my way!" Mewtwo said, he resumed his path to the thundery fields. Giritina seemed to speak to him directly, without a mind link.

"I will hold back Arceus, you go ahead on your mission, just promise me, you will never forget me!"

"I-I promise you Giritina. I will never forget you." Mewtwo said, clutching his right fist to his heart, head down and eyes closed. "I swear on my life."

The Escaped Legend

Tim was lying on his bed in his house in Hearthome City, planning out his next attack on Mewtwo.

"Claydol doll." His beloved pokemon said, floating beside him.

Tim's eyes started watering. Claydol was his most powerful remaining pokemon, and he wasn't strong enough to fight off the forces of Mewtwo and his legendary posse. "Ugg, Claydol, what should I do?"

"Doll claydol." it said.

Tim stared at his pokemon. He actually understood it for once.

"Clay?" it asked when he stared at it oddly.

"Claydol, you, you can talk to me!"

"Doll."

"Say something else.

"Clay clay doll."

"Yes, that's a perfect idea." Tim jumped off of his bed and ran downstairs and out the door, Claydol short behind him. he bolted straight for the poke center.

"Hello Tim, welcome to the pokemon center. Are your pokemon injured again?" Nurse Joy asked him when he entered the building.

"No, not today, but I need to use the PC." Tim answered.

"Well, you know where it is." she said, taking a few pokeballs off the healer and handed them to a trainer near the counter.

Tim went up to the PC and shoved the kid that was using it out of the way.

"HEY! What was that for?" he shouted, getting up from his fall.

"Sorry kid, saving the world here." Tim said as he logged into the PC system and took some pokemon out.

"I don't care, that hurt!"

Claydol floated up to the kid and stared at him.

"Uh, please stop, that's pretty unsettling."

"Doll." Claydol said sternly.

"Ok?"

"Lets go Claydol." Tim said before bolting from the poke center as quickly as he came.

Claydol chased after him, but stopped at the door. He narrowed his eyes that were pointed at the kid and kind of shook his head before flying off again.

Raiku was standing in front of a group of cowering electric types, protecting them from Mewtwo.

"Mewtwo, you worthless scum, leave before you regret leaving the lab you were created in!" Raiku taunted the super being.

"Such big words from someone so, insignificant." Mewtwo replied, crossing his arms.

"Leave now, your psychic power doesn't work here, you are powerless!"

"Oh please." Mewtwo floated up to Raiku and stared him in the eyes. "Then why are you trembling?"

"I'm not, it's just, I was living with Entei the past few weeks, I got used to the heat from the volcanoes, so this is pretty cold to me."

"Suuure." Mewtwo said. He reached over to Raiku and touched his forehead. "So much potential, such little use."

"I do not have look to prove my strength, only protect this safe haven for electric pokemon."

"You could do so much, follow me and I will show you what you truly want." Mewtwo pushed his hand against Raiku's skull harder.

"No, and quit doing that, its weird."

Mewtwo pulled his hand back. "What?"

"You're lucky I'm not angry, now leave, your starting to get on my nerve."

"Why isn't it working?" Mewtwo looked at his hand then shook it and tried to corrupt Raiku again.

"I'm sick of this, you have until I get to five to leave."

"Wait wait wait."

"One."

"Lets work this out."

"Two."

"Raiku, just, please, you can rule the world with me!"

"Three."

"Please?"

"Four."

"Ok, I'm out." Mewtwo turned around and flew off.

"Five. Too late." Raiku roared and lightning struck Mewtwo, knocking him to the ground. Then Raiku ran up to Mewtwo and pinned him to the ground. "You never should have come." Raiku pulled his head up and bared his teeth. Time seemed to slow down as he went to bite Mewtwo's jugular. Then Mewtwo realized, it was only Raiku. He quickly head bashed with Raiku and broke free from the pin. He fled again, but Raiku quickly recovered from the blow and chased him, lightning fast. Raiku slowed when he neared Mewtwo and waited for the perfect moment. He pounced on the psychic being and tackled him to the ground, pinning him again. "Not so fast."

"Look Raiku, I'm sure we can work something out right?"

"No."

Mewtwo looked around again as Raiku went for the kill again. He saw Dialga flying up to them as Raiku slowed again. He looked around, for a more immediate solution to his problem, he knew it would be too late when Dialga arrived, even with the slowed time. His head still hurt from the last bash. He wasn't doing that again. Then he saw, they were out of the lightning fields. Mewtwo moved his hand as much as he could, he reached for Raiku's leg and barely got the inside of the ankle. Raiku instantly stopped.

"What? Is there a problem?" Mewtwo asked.

"No, master."

"Perfect." Mewtwo said. Raiku jumped off of him, and he stood up. "Now, I need you to get Entei and Suicune out of their fields, so I can manipulate them too."

"Yes master." Raiku said before running off towards Entei's fiery field.

"All according to plan." Mewtwo said. He looked up at the thunder clouds above the thunder field. He saw a giant yellow and black bird. "I'll cross that bridge later." Mewtwo said.

"Ok team, we have to find Mewtwo." Tim said to his new team. "Everyone get on Wailord!"

"Waaaail." Wailord said as the other five pokemon climbed on him.

Tim climbed on Wailord too. "Ok Wailord, you're the float whale pokemon, and you're less dense than air. So, get us in the air."

"Looooord." Wailord wailed as he floated into the air.

"This is so cool." Tim looked down at the city, and laughed when he saw everyone's astonished faces. "Ok, Tropius, use gust to push the air behind us to propel us forward.

"Tropa tropa tropa." the indescribable nature bird thing said as it flapped its leaves to generate wind.

"Claydol, use light screen to make us invisible."

"Dol." Claydol made the group invisible.

"Typhlosion, get on Salamence's back."

Typhlosion nodded then did as he was told.

"Ditto, use transform on Claydol then get on Salamence too, and use light srceen."

"Deeto." Ditto did exactly what Tim said.

"Salamence, you use fly and follow us three."

Salamence stretched his wings and hovered just high enough for the rest of the team to pass him before he chased after Wailord and the others.

"There is nothing that Mewtwo can do to stop us now." Tim said. He pulled out his pokenav and called Prof. Oak.

"Oh hello Tim, how are you lately?" the professor said.

"Oak, no time for formalities. You've heard of what Mewtwo is doing right?"

"Yes I have, why?"

"I'm going after him."

"I suggest you don't do that Tim. Mewtwo is very powerful, and I already have Ash, Gary, Red, and Blue after him. They will be strong enough."

"No, they won't, you don't understand what he's doing, now tell me. Do you know where he is?"

"They will be strong enough, and I guess I can't stop you from going after him. I am getting reports that he is at the fiery fields. Good luck Tim."

"Thanks Oak." Tim hung up on the pokenav and shouted a command at Tropius, who obeyed, and changed direction of her gust. Tim was ready for the battle. He could have ditto transform into a dark type when he arrived at Mewtwo. Maybe, he could use his pokenav and call all trainers in the area and tell them to take out a ghost or dark type to help him fight. Tim ran all possible outcomes and battles through his mind. Most resulted in losing most or all of his pokemon, few resulted in victory, only one victory involved Mewtwo using his controlled legendaries in combat, but it was a bit of a stretch, it involved a lot of his pokemon pulling off critical hits. Tim took out the pokeball of his most beloved pokemon, Caterpie. "I will avenge you Caterpie." he cried. Tim looked back at Salamence, who was still following close behind, when he saw a green snake-like pokemon flying towards him. "Everyone, stop." he commanded. Tim's team stopped in place, and Salamence landed on Wailord's back. "What is that thing?" Tim asked.

Attention trainer. I am Rayquaza! I came to tell you, what you are doing is stupid and foolish. You are not powerful enough to achieve this goal. A voice said in Tim's head.

"What the? Are you the green thing?" Tim asked when Rayquaza stopped next to his team.

Yes, and trust me, you will need my help. When Ash and Red arrive at their target, they will see each other and instantly argue over who is the more elite trainer. Their expert trainer bickering will get in the way of the true objective, and they will be wiped out. Then Oak will be forced to send Blue and Gary. They will do the same.

"But, I thought Mewtwo trusted Red? Won't he do anything for his trusted trainers?"

Yes, you are correct, Mewtwo will do the same for Blaine and Yellow only, but you are not going up against Mewtwo, you are going for Mewthree.

"I thought Mewthree was shiny, or half robot."

That is a lie, Mewthree was another attempt to recreate Mew that failed also. Except, the part in his DNA that allowed trust was accidentally destroyed in the process. His purpose was to eradicate Mewtwo when he was lied to and made the dark pokemon, but the scientists couldn't make him in time. By the time Mewtwo was taught riotous ways, Mewthree was finally created. He is more of a glitch than all porygons combined.

"So, he still has the same weaknesses correct?"

Yes, but he is more powerful. Wait, I sense another person coming.

"Come closer. Claydol, Ditto, light screen!"

Claydol and his doppelganger made a glitch-like noise and the group vanished.

"Where did you go Rayquaza?" A pokemon ranger asked, swooping by on a staraptor. He flew in circles, looking for the dragon. "Where? I need you!"

"Staaarrr." The giant starling screamed. It changed course and flew around the group of heroes.

"What is it boy?"

"Starrrr star!"

"Something there?"

"Ssstarrrrr!"

The ranger looked at the center of Staraport's circle. He got his capture stylus aimed and shot it. It flew forward and bounced off Claydol's light screen, shattering it in the process.

"Quick, Tropius, gust, get us out of here! Claydol, Ditto, use hyper beam on Staravia! Salamence, you use dragon pulse, and Typhlosion use flamethrower!" Tim shouted. Tropius began flapping his leaves to propel the seven slowly due to the wait while the other four pokemon charged up their attacks. "Rayquaza, you go ahead, we'll protect you!"

"Woah man! What are you doing? Hold your fire! I just want to capture Rayquaza to help stop Mewthree!"

"Stand down guys." Tim's pokemon stopped the assault. "Rayquaza is with me, but you can help. Go get some ghost and dark types, or maybe capture some legendary pokemon."

"I can't capture any legends. Once Mewthree has gotten to them, they are immune to pokemon ranger's styluses. Each legendary I have the guardian sign for has been captured, the others I can't find or are under his control already."

"Wait, guardian sign? You're Ben right?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Don't you have Latios or Latias?"

"No, I forgot their guardian signs."

"Well, you still have Ukelele Pichu right?"

"No, I left him on his island with his pichu friends."

"Well, get some pokemon to help, Rayquaza is with me so scram!"

"Fine, but you'll regret not letting me help." Ben flew off on Staraptor.

"Ok, everyone, mobile mode, lets go after Rayquaza." Tim said. Salamence jumped off after Ditto and Typhlosion got on his back. Tropius pushed against the air to propel the impossibly heavy Wailord.

So, your little meeting with Ben is over I'm guessing.

"Yes, he gave up, he will no longer go for you, and if he does, Typhlosion here will be ready. And he won't aim for Staraptor."

Good good, now, back to out mission of finding and crushing Mewthree.

"Yup."

Tim's Secret Pokemon

View Online

"Hey Rayquaza, can you sense where Mewthree is?" Tim asked the flying snake.

Yes, and we are getting extremely close.

"How close?"

Too close. Rayquaza stopped flying instantly. Tim went a little further before he could get his pokemon to stop.

"All right, so where is he?" Tim asked.

I suggest you prepare for a fight.

"Why?"

The sky lit up as a bolt of lightning, a jet of fire, and a beam of light shot up from to ground, barely missing Wailord.

"Quick, Ditto, Claydol, light screen!" Tim's pokemon obeyed, and they vanished from sight.

A huge pink legend flew from the sky and roared. Tim's light srceens became useless in bending the light rays.

"Quick, Wailord, hydro pump, Typhlosion flamethrower, Salamence dragon pulse, Claydol hyper beam, Ditto wait for Dialga to appear then use transform, Tropius leaf storm!" Tim shouted as loud as he could. His pokemon did as they were told, and a volley of attacks were sent to the legendary dogs, pelting them with power.

"Not so fast!" Mewthree shouted. He flew in from seemingly nowhere with Dialga in tow. Ditto took Dialga's form quickly.

"Ditto, use your new power to fight off Dialga and Palkia, Rayquaza, you get the legendary dogs, Salamence, Typhlosion, you guys take out any legends that appear that aren't here now!" Tim commanded

Yes sir. Rayquaza flew to the ground and fought Entei, Suicune, and Raiku. Tim's pokemon obeyed his orders.

"Groudon, Kyogre, now!" Mewthree shouted

A giant whale-like creature flew from the nearby ocean with two small creatures on it's back. Then, a giant beast rose from the ground, the tunnel quickly filling behind it.

"Salamence, swoop by Wailord." Tim told his pokemon

"Sala." The dragon flew by Wailord.

"Typhlosion, get on. Salamence, you and Tropius battle Kyogre, Manaphy, Phione, and Groudon."

Tropius flew off and she and Salamence went after the new arrivals.

"Mewthree, just you and me." Tim said.

"Bring it on little twerp, I beat you every time before now, we'll just get the same outcome."

"Claydol, hyper beam, Wailord, hydro pump, Typhlosion, blast burn!"

"Clay!"

"Wail!"

"Ty!"

Three different color beams of death plowed through the wait towards Mewthree. He, surprisingly, didn't block. He braced himself and survived the blast.

"Is that all that you got? Psybeam!" A beam of energy shot from Mewthree's wrist. It hit Claydol and knocked it out instantly.

"It's ok Claydol, you did good." Tim returned his beloved pokemon. "I won't give up Mewthree. Typhlosion, Wailord, attack again!" His two pokemon responded to his command instantly. Mewthree shot another psybeam and the attacks met mid-air. Mewthree's was slightly more powerful and pushed through. It hit Typhlosion and knocked him out. "Typhlosion, take a rest, you earned it."

"I win." Mewthree said before hitting Wialord with a psybeam and knocking him out. Tim had no choice but to return the float whale. He fell the short distance then got up. Tim's legs stung a little from the impact, but they still held his weight. Mewtwo's small gang of legends stood in front of him.

"What? How did you beat all of my pokemon?" Tim asked, taking out the pokeballs to return them.

"Easy, we're powerful, you're not." Mewthree said.

Tim returned his pokemon. "Well, do what you want with me. I give up."

Mewthree pointed at Tim. His finger started glowing. "Too bad you didn't stand a chance. I was starting to like you."

"Not so fast Mewthree."

Mewthree quickly loosed the psybeam. A single pokemon quickly blocked it's path.

"You will not claim my trainer's life." Gardevoir said.

"What?" Tim asked the psychic pokemon standing in front of him.

"It is my species. We are sworn to protect out trainers even if it means we die in return."

"But, I released you."

"Yes, but you are still my trainer, as none others have captured me."

"But, I, well, whatever. Thank you for not forgetting about me."

"I never forget anything. Now, nobody touches my trainer!" She glared at Mewthree.

Mewthree chuckled. "You, you seriously think-" he cut himself off as he entered a fit of laughter. "Ok, seriously though. How are you getting out of it this time Tim?"

Tim looked back and forth between Gardevoir and Mewthree. He sat where he was awkwardly, not knowing what to do.

"All right, now, get out of here before you get hurt miss G." Mewthree said, pointing a strangely human-like finger at the protector.

"No. I will protect Tim, or die trying."

Tim interrupted their conversation "You know Gardevoir, I was just wondering, where were you when I lost my pokemon to him?"

"Hey, you gotta give me credit. It's hard finding a nice gallade and raising a few ralts and a kirlia in the wild."

"Ahh, makes sense. I'm happy for you. You have no clue how rare it is to find a gallade anywhere these days. Wait, what are we doing? I'm about to get killed here!"

"Hm? Oh, yes yes." Gardevoir returned her attention to Mewthree. "Scram outta here before I kill you."

"Oh goodie, you're done with your sweet, heart-warming story. Y'know, it really touched my heart. It was awful. Noe, let's get this show on the road. Shadow ball go!" Mewtwo shot a ball of darkness from his hand towards Gardevoir and Tim.

"NO!" Gardevoir crossed her arms then threw them to her side. A black hole appeared in front of her and absorbed the shadowy attack. Nearby objects quickly vanished into the hole and Mewthree started hovering closer and closer to it.

"Ironic. After all this taking over the world by banishing enemies with a black hole, I get destroyed by a black hole. I-" he was cut off when he was sucked in. The other legendary pokemon tried to flee, but the suction was too powerful. Gardevoir stayed in her position, her dress rippled in the wind, yet she did not move. Neither did Tim. Eventually, the legends got sucked into the hole and all that were standing there were Tim and Gardevoir, and Rayquaza, who was hiding quite far away.

"Ok Gardevoir, you can stop the black hole now." Tim said to his x-pokemon.

Gardevoir didn't budge.

"Stop, we're safe." Tim stood up and poked his head around Gardevoir's. Her eyes were a crystalline white and she was saying something softly. "GARDEVOIR, THE BAD GUYS ARE GONE, YOU CAN STOP!"

"No. There are three legends still around." Gardevoir said in an evil sounding tone. "I will not stop until they are gone!" She stretched her arms and the orb of death grew. The nearby forest where Rayquaza hid was starting to get ripped up. The green serpent dragon was sucked over to Gardevoir. His tail started vanishing in the orb. He stuck his claws in the ground to try and stop the suction.

"Gardevoir stop! Rayquaza is on our side!"

Gardevoir's eyes shrunk to slits and her green hair covered her ears so she couldn't hear anymore. She put more power into the black hole and it pulled Ray in harder.

"Rayquaza!"

It's all right Tim. There are two more legends nearby, they are probably both taken by Mewthree. This is for the better. Goodbye Rayquaza let his grip slip and he flew into the blackness.

"Gardevoir! Stop! Reverse!" Tim shouted frantically at his unresponsive savior.

There was a rush of shadows and two pokemon appeared. Arceus fell from the sky wounded. An array of plates was around him. The god pokemon looked around for his dark plate so he could be immune to the psychic pokemon's attack. He found it too late and he vanished. Giratina suffered the same fate, being ghost and not dark. He lashed out at everything to try and stop himself from being sucked in. One of his tentacles struck Gardevoir. She flinched at the impact, shutting one eye and losing focus. She lost focus for just too long, and she got sucked in. Tim grabbed her leg to try and stop her, but he got pulled in with her. Trying to save his party pokemon, Tim unbuckled his belt and threw it away from the black hole with one hand. Without a power source, the black hole vanished just before the pokeball belt returned to it. The only trace, a barren landscape stripped of it's features, a near destroyed forest nearby, a long claw mark in the ground, a belt with six pokeballs on it, and a truly terrified looking poochyena.
