a story about a Pony i made up (i dont know how long its going to be)
This is a story about a Pegasus named Pinkie Twinkle who is new to Equestria, she has has been on her own for years now and she doesn't know what happened to parents and has no friends and she is a grown Pegasus with no cutie mark. She has to count on the Mane 6 and the CMC plus spike and Princess Celestia so she can get her Cutie mark.
Hello, my name is Pinkie Twinkle I am a pink Pegasus sometimes ponies used to mistake me as pinkie pie quite often. But i can't blame then i mean I'm a pink Pegasus the only difference is that i can fly and she cant. Well lets continue. I'm a very happy pony I have wonderful friends that I consider my new family. But my life hasn't always been like this though. For a long time I had nopony besides me i was all alone. But enough of my intro, I need to start telling you about my life and how i became such a happy pony
Long ago I lived in small town (what it is called i have no idea. I can't remember anything about my family besides what im about to tell you right now.) with my mom, dad and brother. Our family was a very happy family we would spend a lot of time with each other. Not my brother though he had a lot to do. He was a high ranked guard for the town and he had a family of his own. When ever he had the chance though, we would come visit us. One night my mom and dad threw an awesome birthday party it was for my 5th birthday.
"Come on Pinkie Twinkle you gotta blow out your candles" My mom said enthusiastically.
I just stood there smiling, I mean what else could i do i was so excited. I finally blew out the candles on the cake and my brother sliced the cake with his special sword that he uses for ceremony purposes, which i thought was pretty cool.
"How big do you want you cake Twinkle?" My brother asked.
"Ummm i don't know." I said with a smile.
"Would you want it the slice to be this big?" He asked
"NO I want it to be this big !" I said full of excitement.
"Ha ha ha!' My dad chuckled. "I don't think you'll be able to finish it, it's way to big for you."
"If she wants that big of a slice let her have it. It's her birthday after all". Mom said smiling.
My brother came out with a wrapped present it was pretty big too, like maybe the size of someponies torso.
"Here you go open it. I think you will like it" My brother said satisfied.
As I opened it my jaw pretty much dropped.
"NO WAY!" I yelled "A SHIELD!"
"Yup i made it my self took me a while but i manged to finish it in time." He said feeling accomplished.
I tried to pick it up but the weight of the shield was way to heavy for me at the time. I picked it up but as i picked it up i happened to slip on come cake and the weight of the shield made me fall twice as fast which knocked me out cold. I woke up in the hospital the next morning with my family right besides me.
"Hey Twinkle." My brother said with a relieved sigh.
"You've been out for 2 days." The doctor pointed out. "You're going to have to stay in here for a week to insure that you will heal perfectly."
My dad brought me more cake to try and comfort me. That didn't really help. Even though it was only 2 days it felt like a millennium since asleep plus an extra week to heal. Don't know about you but being stuck in a bed for a week doesn't sound like fun.
My family went home that night saying goodbye saying that they will see me tomorrow. I came to a tear afraid to be alone with no one i knew. But eventually I managed to fall asleep.
I woke up the next morning (or at least i thought) and i looked at the calender the day for to go home was today at that point curiosity grew.i knew i fell back into a coma. I waited a good hour or two for the doctor to show up but he never showed up. My I got out of bed myself and when i walked around the hospital for a little while and there was nopony inside. At this point i became scared. I finally went out of the hospital and when i stepped outside and the town looked like a ghost town.
"Hello. Is anypony here?" I stuttered. Nopony answered.
When i looked at the buildings I saw how old they looked. It looked like they were abandoned. I realized that i was in the coma more then a week. By the looks of it i was in the coma for maybe 3 weeks. I searched a little while longer but i couldn't find anypony anywhere. At this point i thought maybe they were going to throw me a party for being out so long. I went back to my house but there was nopony there. i gathered some supplies as I knew that I was going to be on my own for a long time. I realized that everything was set up exactly the way it was before i fell. I grabbed a few bags i packed up any food that wasn't rotten. It was mostly water and snacks. As I was about to leave I saw the Shield that my brother made for me himself. Knowing i wasn't strong enough to carry it i decided to drag it knowing that it may come in handy later on in my travel. As i walked towards the towns border i looked back towards town.
"Goodbye." I cried "I am going to miss this town and everypony that was here.
This is when my life started to change drastically. Everything I knew was now behind me. I realized that nopony will be able to help me if i get hurt. So I have to be really careful and try really hard not to fall or hurt myself in anyway. I've been traveling for about 2 weeks and I started to notice that my food and water supply was running low. At this point i knew that I had to look for some food and water.
"I can really use some food right about now." I said cautiously. "I hope there's some type of berry bush or fruit tree. My food is going to run out in about two days if i don't get anything soon"
I started to walk down a bit and I started to hear this point a river. so i decided to fill up all of my water bottles knowing that i would have to travel away from the river to get some food. I started to walk head towards the trail, but not remembering where the trail was, i got lost. I stood there for a little while and i started to cry as i realized that i'm lost, alone, and defenseless to anything that wants to hurt me. (don't forget that i am still only 5). Now i have to fend for my self knowing that i can't turn back. I have to push forward hopefully i will be able to find somepony that will want to take me in.
It has been weeks now and i am still lost in the woods. I have nopony to help me and I only have limited amount of supplies. A shield, a few water bottles, wrappers from snacks and a basket. It's not much but it will to do since i wont be getting any more supplies anytime soon. I can also carry my shield now and I'm only 5, what weeks of work can do for you. It's getting dark no maybe an hr before it's completely dark so i better get a move on to the closets cave or hole in the wall. When i finally found a place to sleep i decided to go out side. I went to go lay down where there was an area of missing trees.
"Wow those stars look really pretty out tonight." I commented. "That one kinda looks my mother."
I sat there for a while trying to remember what her voice sounded like but i couldn't remember at all and it has only been a month. Instead of beating myself over that I just jumped to the conclusion that it was only my concussion. After a while I fell asleep in while laying in the open. For once I was actually able to get to sleep without the fear of being alone or being away from home. The next morning I woke up to some crackling in the bushes. At first I just assumed that it was the wind as it did feel a little breezy, but as soon as I closed my eyes again i heard a growl like a bear. I immediately jumped onto my feet. When I stood up i saw the bear, black fur with brown eyes. Claws sharp enough to take my face off if it wanted to.
"Nice bear. It's alright." I said quietly hoping that it would calm the bear down. "Just stay right there. I have some food that you might like, a few apples and berries." I tried everything i could just to get the bear away from me.
The bear started to charge at me, i barrel rolled out of the way realizing how close he was to hitting me. The bear charged at me again but i couldn't dodge in time so i decided to cover my body with the shield my brother made me. Although the bear did barely any damage to me, the shield flew out of my reach. By this time i thought i was going to die, but as he tried to swipe me with his his paw. When I jumped in the air i realized that i wasn't falling. At first i thought that the bear had caught me. I opened my eyes. What i saw surprised me. I was flying!
"OH MY GOSH I'M FLYING!!!!!" I yelled with the utmost excitement and relief.
I flew down to get my shield and the rest of my supplies. Doing that was not the smartest idea because when i did that i just fell back to the ground. I tried to fly again but i couldn't. Then i realized the it was my adrenaline that made me fly. I tried one more time to fly. That wasn't a good idea. The bear nearly hit me again, but when i dodged him this time he tripped and fell. I used this as a perfect opportunity to flee. I galloped for a good 20 minutes now. I took a look back and saw that the bear was gone. I started walking again but when i looked at my food supply i realized that most of my food fell out of my basket sometime between that attack of the bear and me running away.
"Looks like I have to save my food up for when Im really need it." I thought.
I went on another hunt for some food and water. I managed to find some berries, but i couldn't find any water. I searched for anything even a puddle would do. I thought about digging for some water but then I saw how dry the dirt was and thought that there wouldn't be any water no matter how much i dig. After a few more hours of looking for water I finally came across a lake. I stood there awestruck. It was a beautiful lake. After i filled up my water bottles i decided to go jump in the lake. If there was anything that could get this stress off my back i thought a nice swim would do it. I swam for a good 2hrs.
"You know what?" I said to myself. "I'm going to build a small little hut here.
The first night i just made it big enough so i could sleep in it comfortably. After I decided to stay here for i while i started to build a small house big enough so i can move around in it and place my items here. For somepony who is only 5 surviving for about a month by myself is pretty good. I thought I was going to die the first week. Obviously I was wrong. I have made myself comfortable at my new home. I would go swimming almost everyday unless if it was raining. If it was a clear night I would stay up looking up at the stars. If it wasn't too cold I would even sleep outside. I started to think that this home here was better then my house back in town besides that i don't have my family with me anymore. But oh well i will just have to do without them.
[center]************It's been about 10 years since anything important has happened. I am now 15 years old and i still live in my cottage I guess you can call it that. I've been alone those whole 10 years. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though. Repairing the cabin about once a week, searching for food and water and swimming during the free time I had made the 10 years go by really fast. I haven't been able to fly yet though. Unless if you count that encounter with the I never flew in my life. But since my cabin is now stable enough and since I have enough food and water i can now focus on teaching my self on how to fly. But I have to find something i can use to help take care of myself just in case I fall and get hurt. I went on a search for some aloe so i can help sooth the cuts that i may get later on during my practices. I went on a walk for a while. After a while i found a cave. What i saw in the cave i almost couldn't comprehend. All i saw was mounds and mounds of gems (diamond ruby, jet, emerald you name it).
"Hello is anyone there?" I asked. I waited a few moments. "Hello!?" I asked again.
When I realized that there was nopony in there I walked in. I grabbed one of each gem after I got one of each I grabbed as many gems as I could forgetting the reason why I was out on this hike in the first place. I heard somepony coming. I quickly jumped behind the gems and I looked to see who it was. It turned out to be a purple baby dragon. I thought that the mother must have been near by so I decided to lay low so i wouldn't get caught. I looked at the dragon he was eating all the gems he could. After a while he stopped and he started talking to himself saying how somepony by the name of Twilight didn't care for him anymore. When I thought he was talking about his mother. I started to walk out to him to talk to him but before I go up to him a bigger dragon came up to him. At first I thought it was is mother but then I saw the look at the larger dragons face. He didn't seem to happy. Eventually the bigger dragon started to attack the baby dragon. I wanted to help but I was afraid too. The bigger dragon finally pinned him against the wall. As he did that the baby dragon looked directly at me for a moment. At that point I was ready to go help him. All of a sudden a owl came and hit a bigger dragon in the face. I wanted to laugh but if I did that would have given away my position.
"SPIKE!!!" a purple unicorn shouted. "GET OVER HERE QUICKLY!!!"
The baby dragon started to run towards the unicorn. I used that as my chance to try to greet them. But the dragon blew a flame and the smoke stopped me from continuing. I tried not to cough but i couldn't hold it anymore. When i coughed the dragon turned towards me.
"This can't be good!" I yelled
The dragon tried to swipe me with his tale but i managed to dodge his tail. When I looked back i saw exactly how spiky his tail was. Spikes were on each end of his tail, and I thought that the bear was scary. The dragon was more then just scary. He was intimidating, ruthless, and the size alone was almost to much to handle. I also have to deal with his breath of fire. I honestly thought that i wasn't going to make it out of this alive. As that thought came threw my head I heard a whistle. I looked back and I just happened to see the Purple unicorn and the baby dragon again.
"Get back away from her!" The unicorn said full with confidence.
"Yea what she said!" The baby dragon said"
"Spike just leave this to me."
"Awe but twilight." Spike whined.
"Just follow my orders." twilight said
Twilight (i assume that's her same) used her magic to stop the the fire that was blown towards me. The dragon then looked at Twilight and started to charge at her. Again she used her magic, but this time she moved a rock about the size of me in the way of the dragon causing him to trip.
"Run now!" The Unicorn shouted.
We started to run into the woods. We didn't until we knew that the trees would be thick enough to stop the dragon from chasing us.
"Thanks for the help back there." I said.
"You're welcome. The unicorn said.
"Yeah if it wasn't for me you've would've been burnt marshmallow." The baby dragon bragged.
"So what is your name." I asked.
"My name is Twilight. Twilight sparkle." She replied.
"And I'm Spike."
"How did you know that I was in trouble." I asked.
Twilight started to explain. "Well after we left the cave Spike thought he saw Pinkie Pie. I told him that was impossible because Pinkie Pie was at the bakery making some cupcakes for Spike when he came home because he ran away and i assumed that he was in trouble. After I said that to Spike I decided to go see what he saw. I came back to the cave and saw the dragon facing towards you and at that point I knew that you needed help, so I did. By the way, I never your name yet."
"Oh sorry. My name is Pinkie Twinkle." I answered. Just call me Twinkle though.
"Ok." Twilight replied. "What in Equestria are you doing by yourself in the Everfree forest.?
I started off a long story saying what happened. "Well about 10 years ago I woke up from a coma to realize that everypony in my home town was gone. I searched for a while but found nopony. I went by myself hoping to find somepony that would be willing to let me stay with them. I got lost though. I eventually decided to make a cabin for myself knowing that i was going to out here for a long time. Just today I was going to teach myself on how to fly but i couldn't do it without some supplies just in case I hurt so I came across this cave and saw some gems and I wanted to take some and this leaves us off here."
"Wow!" That was all Twilight could say for a moment. She happened to grow curious. "What was the name of the town that you came from.
"I don't know." I replied. "I can't remember.
"Oh." Twilight said with sympathy. "Well you can stay with me for a while if you want. It's the least I can do for you."
"REALLY!" I shouted.
I never thought this day would come where I would have somepony to look after me. At this point I knew my life couldn't get any better.
We arrived in Ponyville and it was a beautiful town. You can see the mountains on one side and a river on the other. Right behind us was the forest we just came out of. When we arrived in Ponyville, there was this pink pony running towards Spike.
"OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!" The pink pony yelled. "YOU'RE SAFE SPIKE. AND YOU BROUGHT A FRIEND WITH YOU!" The pink pony pointed out. "Hi my name's Pinkie Pie, whats yours.
"Pinkie Twinkle." I said feeling a little uncomfortable. "Just call me Twinkle though."
"You have the same first name as me. AWESOME!!!" Pinkie Pie yelled joyfully. "We have to throw you a welcome party."
"Don't mind her Twinkle." Twilight suggested. "It took me quite awhile to get used to her too. Lets go to my house.
Twilight took me to her house and it was pretty big. It looked like it could hold about ten ponies.
"Do you share this house with anypony else." I asked.
"Yup my #1 assistant Spike." Twilight replied.
"Without me Twilight would be a mess." Spike commented. I mean she leaves her books around, she makes me go to the store because shes to busy studying." Twilight Interrupted. "Spike go organize the books in the library." She commanded. "My point exactly." Spike poked his tong out and walked off.
"That's Spike for you." Twilight chuckled
We went off to bed. I slept on the couch in the living room, while Spike and Twilight went up stares. I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about how nice Twilight treated me. I mean she hardly even knows me. After thinking for a little while I went to sleep. The next morning Twilight woke me up and served me breakfast in bed.
"How did you sleep last night?" Twilight asked.
"I slept perfectly. The most peaceful sleep I had in 10 years." I replied.
I laid in my bed for a while, sitting comfortably, eating my breakfast. When suddenly a blue Pegasus came flying through the door. My eyes stood open and my jaw dropped wide open.
"Whoa that's the coolest thing i have ever seen." I commented.
The blue Pegasus stared at me confused.
"Um who are you and why are you in Twi's house?" She questioned.
"I'm Pinkie twinkle. Twilight invited me to stay here for a while." I answered gratefully. "What's your name."
"Oh. My names Rainbow Dash you can call me Dashy or Rainbow for short if you want though." She commented.
"You're stunt you pulled off was really cool how." I commented again.
"Oh I know. I'm the best flyer in Equestria. I can clear all the clouds in the sky 10 seconds flat, even ask Twilight. "She said bragging.
Twilight came into the room surprised to see Rainbow Dash in her house. She wanted to say something but she just stood there for a moment. While Rainbow Dash was bragging about how awesome she was she just happened to notice something.
"Hey where is your cutie mark." Rainbow Dash said shocked.
"I never got one." I replied. Is that a bad thing?
"Well considering the fact that your a grown mare yes!" She answered.
Twilight came over and interrupted. "It's not her fault Rainbow dash. She has been on her own for 10 years, there was nopony around to even tell her about the cutie mark. That just means we have to do our best to make sure she gets one as soon as possible."
"I also have another problem." I added. "I don't know how to fly. I flew only once but only because my adrenaline kicked in when i was getting attacked by a bear."
"No problem." Rainbow Dash commented. "With a Pegasus like me you'll be able to fly with in the next to weeks."
Shortly after she said that Spike came in with a tired but anxious.
"GUYS WE'RE LATE FOR PINKIES PARTY!!" Spike yelled.
"Oh my gosh you're right lets go." Twilight answered.
We went to the party and I felt a little out of place since I didn't know anypony there. During that time I started to think how I wasn't able to find this place when I made my cabin. Pinkie Pie interrupted my thoughts.
"Why aren't you partying!?" Pinkie Pie said confused. "I made this welcome party for you."
Shortly after Pinkie Pie introduced me to 3 more ponies. Their names are Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy.
"Hello, how are you doing" Applejack greeted. "What's your name."
"My name is Pinkie Twinkle." I responded. "Please just call me Twinkle though."
"We will, if that's what you want us to do." Fluttershy mumbled.
The party ended. When I went outside there were three fillies waiting for me. They stood there staring at me for a while.
"It's true, she doesn't have her cutie mark yet." The orange filly said.
"Um may I help you?" I asked felling awkward.
"No No we don't need help." The orange filly said. "We are the Cutie Mark Crusaders we never need help."
"Scootaloo stop trying to act like Rainbow dash." The yellow filly said to her.
"Um may I ask who you Three are?" I questioned.
"I'm Scootaloo, the yellow pony is Applebloom, and the white pony is Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo answered.
"You should join the Cutie Mark Crusaders." Sweetie Belle suggested.
"NO NO NO NO NO." Scootaloo argued. "She's why to old to be a Crusader with us. Besides we don't even know her name "
"We can always ask." Sweetie Belle . "What is your name."
"My name is Pinkie twinkle, just call me twinkle though." I answered.
"I think we should vote to see if Twinkle should join." Applebloom
"Ok fine." Scootaloo huffed.
"If you want Twinkle to be a Crusader with us raise your hoof." Scootaloo commanded.
"Looks like shes a Crusader now." Sweetie Belle pointed out. "Welcome to the CMC."
Applejack and Rarity called Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, causing them to follow them home. I'm guessing Applebloom and Applejack are sisters and same with Rarity and Sweetie belle. Now it was only me and Scootaloo.
"I'm watching you Twinkle." Scootaloo whispered in my ear. "It's nothing personal, It's just the fact that I barely know you and I'm not comfortable around strangers but I'm sure we'll be good friends.
I went back to Twilights house. When I walked in, the first pony I saw was Spike. He was just snoring it away on the couch. I wanted to Pat his head but I was afraid that I would wake him up. Twilight came down the stairs waking Spike up.
"What were you doing sleeping." Twilight wondered. "It's only 4:00pm and you woke up at 9:00am."
"It's what I do best Twilight. You know that." He replied feeling clever.
"Well I need to go to the store and I need you to help me pick things out." "But Twilight!" "Spike c'mon."
They stood there arguing which to me seemed pointless. Well I wouldn't really know since I never really had a sibling. Well other than my brother, but I cant even remember his name, he was 15 years older than me and he also had a job. Realizing that Twilight and Spike are still arguing, I decided to end it as it started to get annoying.
"How about I go with you Twilight.' I suggested. "Spike can stay here and get more beauty sleep."
"That's a good idea wait right here, I'm going to get some bags be back down in a sec." "Ok." I answered.
I went with Twilight to this clothing store that Rarity just happened to own. The clothing here was just remarkable. I couldn't believe my eyes on how stunning they look. I mean I never saw any fancy clothing besides my brother Tux when he got married. The dresses here were unbelievably gorgeous.
"Hello Rarity." I greeted her as she walked into the lobby. "I love your dresses they're amazing."
"Oh thank you darling, but you haven't seen anything yet." She said anxiously to show her other work. "Now this is a fine piece of art."
Rarity's dresses were astounding. I never knew onepony could do all this by herself but I guess shes the first, Rarity gave me one of her better dresses.
"Oh thank you. This is the most generous thing anypony has ever done for me. Besides Twilight for letting me stay at her house. I couldn't say anything else but thanks.
"Well generosity is my middle name." She said while walking off.
"Hey Rarity would you like to stay with me and Twinkle tonight." Twilight asked.
"Oh that would be wonderful. We should invite everypony else." She Suggested.
"Ok, You gather them around. I need to talk to Twinkle about something." Twilight added.
We were walking home and Twilight started asking me about my past. I didn't have much to say because I told her pretty much everything when she first found me. I started to consider Twilight and Spike as brother and sister. They were the ones to save me after all, and they provided me a home. That's something nopony else would do for me, and I knew that for a fact.
