A young and beautiful Pony named Stella Maris return to Ponyville to meet once again her friends. During that reencounter, she had the chance to meet Braeburn, and falls in love with him, wondering if he feels in the same way about her.
Stella Maris is a young and beautiful unicorn which returns to Ponyville to meet once again her best friend Applejack, but what she doesn´t know is that her life is going to change forever once she had the chance to met the extremely handsome Braeburn, falling in love with him...But does he feel in the same way?
I will never forget the marvelous day I met Braeburn. It happened during a warm and sunny spring day, on my trip back to Ponyville where I was planning to met with my good friend Applejack after a very long time I didn´t see her due the many tragic circumstances that happened in the early years of my life, which forced my parents to move from Ponyville to Manehattan, where I had to live a very long time of solitude and bitterness, missing all my dear pony friends, specially my darling Applejack and his handsome brother Big Macintosh.
Everything seemed sad and pointless during that time: I still remember the day when I had tos ay goodbye to all my good friends from Ponyville, who were so sad about my departure that they couldn´t stop crying once I had to left them after the death of my older sister, named Avery, during one fateful night that happened during the summer.
Since that day, I always hated summer and sunny days, but some reason, that day when I finally had the chance to came back to Ponyville, something changed: Even when the day was sunny and bright, I didn´t feel sad or nostalgic anymore. In fact, i think that it was probably the first sunny day i didn´t hate in a very long time, and I guess that it had something to do with the fact that i was back to my beloved hometown, Ponyville, probably having the chance to meet my old friends once again. Suddenly, a familiar voice started to calling me by my name:
“Hey! Hey, Stella!”
I instantly recognized the voice: It was no other tan my good old friend Applejack! How pretty she looked now! She was now even more beautiful tan I remembered, and her Golden hair looked like it was made with sun rays. She instantly ran towards me, with several tears of joy on he reyes. Then she hugged me, at same time she said:
“Stella! Darling! You have no idea of much I missed you”
Even when Applejack was fully aware of my return to Ponyville (I sent her a letter about the retrun of my family to Ponyville two weeks ago) she simply couldn´t hide all the many intense emotions she was having at that moment…Our reencounter was a very beautiful moment, which I will always keep on my heart, no matter what. It was one of the happiest moments of my usually sad life…And soon there was going to have an even happier incident which was going to make me to see life in a completely different manner.
After some catching up time with my old friend I had the chance to know many things that happened in Ponyville during the very long time I was absent…She told me a lot of good things about the new friend she made during that time, a purple alicorn from Canterlot, calledTwilight Sparkle, who was also a princess , something that impressed me a lot.
“I´m sure that you and her will be very good friends, my dear Stella…She is very beautiful and powerful, but I still think that you are prettier than her…But please don´t tell her I told you that, it could hurt her feelings…”
That last comment made me blush, but I didn´t say anything anyway, because I was too glad of being reunited with my old friend, which I missed a lot during that long, miserable time I had to suffer back then in Manehattan.
“I think you will have to wait a couple of days to meet Twilight, my dear Stella…” Applejack said. “She is now in Canterlot, attending some important business with Princess Celestia right now…”
I nodded, but then Applejack had a big grin on her beautiful orange face and said:
“However, I think It is a very fortunate coincidence you are back in Ponyville today…”
“Why you say that?” i asked her.
“You son will know the answer. Just wait for it.”
She then giggled, and I wanted to know what was she talking about…And once we arrived to Sweet Apple Acres, my heart was filled with so much emotion and joy that I started running all over the place like I was a foal. The place was even more beautiful and bigger tan I remembered! Applejack was very happy to, and smiled at me.
And then…that was the first time I had the chance to see him. He was looking at me, with a strange smile on his extremely handsome face, which was partially covered by a lock of hair, making his facial expression to look incredibly seductive, even if that wasn´t his intention.
I blushed, because I realized that he probably saw all the silly prancing I made as if I was a foal, making me feel really stupid and uncomfortable.
“Hello, pretty…” The mysterious handsome pony told me, and I didn´t knew what to answer. His intense handsomeness intimidated me. I never saw such kind of perfection in any pony before, and I didn´t know how to react. Fortunately for me, my good friend Applejack interevened just in time:
“Hey, Braeburn!” she said. “I want to introduce you my very good friend Stella Maris…Her and her family are back to Ponyville after living six years in Manehattan…”
“Nice to meet you, Stella…” Braeburn said, with a very bright smile on his face that made me blush…Sweet Celestia, I never thought that in this world there could be someone so gallantly beautiful that could easily rival with the mythical pony gods from legends which appeared in the books I used to read when I was younger.
“N-Nice t-to meet you…” I dared to answer Braeburn with a very shy voice, while he simply smiled once again, making me blush even more tan before.
“Braeburn is my cousin, Stella…” Applejack explained to me.”He lives in Appleloosa, but he is going to spent a couple of weeks here on Ponyville for our Apple Family Reunion…”
“How nice!” I replied her, trying to sound natural, even when I know that I wasn´t fooling anyone. Braeburn simply limited to smile at me once again. Maybe it was just my imagination, but I think that he winked an eye at me seductively, but back then I wasn´t really sureof that.
“Well, well guys…” said Applejack, contemplating both of us with delight, as if she was expecting this encounter to happen. “Aren´t you hungry? Because I am, and I think that Granny Smith is waiting for us with some delicious pies…I think we shouldn´t make her to wait for us any longer!”
I nodded, and Braeburn did the same. However, it was lie, because the last thing I could think at that moment was to think in food, much less in the pies made by Granny Smith. Little did I knew that iwas going to remember that day for the rest of my entire life…
Later that day, the only thing I could ever think about was Braeburn…Oh My Sweet Celestia, even when he was eating all those pies he looked so gorgeous I could barely eat and think in something else. My Celestia, How could he be so beautiful? My inner pony spirit reminded me that I barely knew him, and yet I was starting to think that he could be the pony i want to spent the rest of my pony life…But what about if he didn´t feel the same way about me? What If he was merely taunting me? A guy like him certainly has a lot of admirers and it would certainly naive from my side to think that he never had a girlfirend before…If that was the case, I was sure my life would be miserable again, but I wasn´t really sure about that.
Even when I spent the entire afternoon with him (Along with my good friend Applejack and most of his relatives) I think that i barely knew him, since he never gave me a definitive answer to any of my questions. It was like he was hiding something from me, but I had no idea of what it could be. I only knew that no matter how illogical it could sound, I was madly in love with him.
During the following days, Applejack introduced me her other friends called Rarity, Pinki Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. Each one of those ponies were very lovely and sympathetic (except for Rainbow Dash, who acted like a little piece of shit towards and furtively tried to harm me but i was able to notice her malice from the very first moment I saw her…I don´t understand how my good friend Applejack could be her friend of such kind of pony, but from the first time I met her, I knew that she was very good at lying and pretending.)
At the end of the day however, I couldn´t stop thinking in Braeburn. I wondered if my feelings toward him were true love or merely a superfluous obsession with his psychical attractiveness…But then, why I had such kind of strong feelings towards him, and not about Big Macintosh who was just as attractive as him? I think there were other factors…At the momento I met him, I felt like there was some kinf of spiritual connection between us, like if we had met before.
My Inner Pony spirit told me that such kind of thoughts were nonsensical and illogical, but I guess what the strongest feelings like Love or hatred (Like the obvious hatred Rainbow Dash had towards me in the first momento she met me) are illogical and without any kind of foundation.
My only desire at those moments was to see Braeburn once again. I was determined to know more about him at the next day…Perhaps once I knew him better, I would be able to realice if what I felt towards him was true love, destined to endure or merely a superfluous psychical attraction doomed to fail in a pathetic manner. Sweet Celestia.
The next day I went to Sweet Apple Acres, expecting to find my beloved Braeburn there…Then, I saw something strange flying in the air in a very ungallant manner.
“What could be that?” I asked myself, moved by natural Pony curiosity, as I tried to look better that thing that was flying. However, after I did that, something hit me in the head, making me feel unconscious in the ground, which fortunately was filled with many flowers, so my head wasn´t harmed, but I was left unconscious for at least two hours.
During that time, I had an strange dream, when I saw my beloved Braeburn, smiling at me, and I was happy for that…But then, a big shadow appeared behind him and the darkness suddenly swallow my beloved Braeburn, something that made me cry and feel despair, as the malevolent voice of Rainbow Dash started laughing at me, saying: “She is now mine, you dumb pony city dweller…HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!
“NOOOOOOOOO! You can´t do this to me!” I screamed, and then I said: “Give me back my beloved Braeburn…I think I love him!”
My inner pony spirit tried to made me remind me that I was only dreaming, but my feelings at that moment were too intense, and I wanted to rescue my beloved and sexy Braeburn from darkness and the evil Rainbow Dash…Then a bright light started to shine in my chest, and some strange piece of jewelry appeared in front of me…Oh my Celestia, it was so pretty and shining that for one moment I thought that I was dreaming…
I touched that jewelry piece and suddenly all the darkness faded away, and Braebrun was free again…Oh My Celestia, he looked so sexy with part of his beautiful golden hair covering one of his eyes in a totally seductive manner…He lost his hat, and in that way he looked even sexier than before…I blushes as he smiled at me, and then…And then…We kissed passionately in a very beautiful moment I wanted to last forever, even if it was only a dream, because I was totally sure that the feeling I was feeling at that moment was nothing but true love, pure and simple as that. And true love last forever no matter what…
But then, my dream ended, because a very little Pony Girl woke up me…I recognized the girl as Apple Bloom, the little sister of Apple Jack, which was incredibly cute, and adorable, and at that moment was wearing a beautiful dress with many pink bowls and many fantasy jewelry. Some white and pink flowers adorned her pretty hair, and she looked so beautiful that the only thing I was able to say at those moments was: “Oh My sweet Celestia, Apple Bloom, you look so pretty and adorable with that dress!”
“Thank you, sweet Stella Maris…” Apple Bloom replied me, blushing. “Rarirty made me this dress for the Apple Family Reunion, and she also made a very beautiful dress for you! And that reminds me my sister sent me to look after you, we were so worried at Sweet Apple Acres, that my sister sent me to your house to see if everything was okay.
“They sent you alone?” I asked Apple Bloom, but she shook her cute little head in a very adorable manner. “No, they sent me with my brother Big Macintosh” Apple Bloom replied me, and when she said those words, the handsome Big Macintosh appeared.
“Hey Stella, are you ok?” he asked with clear concern.
“I´m fine…” I replied him, blushing, and he seemed extremely happy about my wellbeing.
“Thanks to Celestia, you are fine, sweet Stella Maris…” He said blushing. “You know that I…I mean, we were very worried about you…”
“T-Thank you…” I said shyly, blushing. Then Big Macintosh smiled at me, making me blushing even more. “We have to go now to Sweet Apple Acres…” Apple Bloom said, and we went to that place. While we were walking towards Sweet Apple Acres Apple Bloom whispered something at me:
“I think my big brother likes you…” she said, and then she giggled.
“That can´t be true!” I replied her, blushing.
I wasn´t sure if Big Macintosh was able to hear us, but he didn´t say anything…I was hoping that what Apple Bloom told me wasn´t true, because even when I found Big Macintosh to be incredibly handsome and sexy, I didn´t loved him in the same way I loved Braeburn, but I always considered him a good friend, and I didn´t wanted to hurt him, because he was a very nice pony, and I always liked him, but not in that way.
“Oh, sweet Celestia…” I said myself in a very low voice. “What I can do now? I think Big Macintosh likes me, but even when I consider him a good friend, and I don´t like him in the same manner, and I don´t want to hurt him…I think that my true love is Braeburn, but what if he didn´t feel in the same way about me?”
And then I felt very disappointed because Braeburn didn´t went with Big Macintosh and Apple Bloom to search me, but then Apple Bloom said:
“I think you are a very lucky pony…You have many admirors…”
“What do you mean?” I asked her.
“My cousin Braeburn wanted to go with us to search you, because he was very worried about you, but then that annoying brat of Rainbow Dash who came at our party without being invited, didn´t allow him to do that, because she said that she wasn´t feeling too well, and Braeburn had to stay with her against her will…But I think that in reality, Braeburn really likes you, because you are way prettier than Rainbow Dash…” Apple Bloom explained me.
“Do you really think that?” I asked Apple Bloom, and she giggled. “I think you like him too, because you are blushing!” I wasn´t able to answer her, because at that moment we arrived at Sweet Apple Acres…I was worried about Braeburn, because he had to stay with Rainbow Dash. I didn´t know what that mean Pegasus was planning to do, but no matter what happened, I was destined to stay with Braeburn, because thanks to the dream I had, I now knew that he was my true love, and what I felt about him was true and pure love destined to last forever.
“I don´t what you are planning to do, Rainbow Dash, but I will fight for the Pony I love!” I said myself, with determination.
Once we were at Sweet Apple Acres, we were received by Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity and Pinky Pie. They were wearing very beautiful dresses made by Rarity.
“Stella, what happened?” Applejack asked me. “Are you okay?”
“We found her unconscious in the woods!” Apple Bloom said, and then she added: “I think somebody hit her!”
“Is that true?” Applejack asked me, and I didn´t knew what to answer her. Despite the dream I had, I had no proof that Rainbow Dash was the one who attacked me. What if it wasn´t her the one who hit? Applejack would never trust in me again if I defamed one of her friends, even if I did unintentionally.
“Nobody attacked me, I just tripped over something in the woods…” It wasn´t a very convincing lie, but it was the best answer I could think at that moment.
“Oh, Stella, you should be a little bit more careful if you are going to wander in the woods…” Applejack told me. I accepted her advice with a smile on my face, but I wasn´t sure about what was going to happen in the reunion of her family. I was ready to express my true feelings to Braeburn, but I didn´t wanted to make a scene in front of everyone.
“Stella, I´m afraid that your hair got messed up in the woods…” Rarity commented me. “But don´t worry, I can fix your looks just in time for the reunion…”
“Give her the dress you prepared specially for her!” Pinky Pie said enthusiastically.
“Hurry up, Rarity!” Applejack said. “Granny Smith is going to made her speech and we all should be present to hear it!” “Okay, just leave it to me!” Rarity replied her.
Rarity combed my hair and gave me a very beautiful dress she made for me yesterday using her unicorn magic. While I was putting my dress, I could hear Applejack talking with the others, with a concerned voice.
“I don´t know what is happening with her. She isn´t acting like she normally does…Her behavior is way too aggressive…”
“Darling, Rainbow Dash is always aggressive!” Rarity replied her, giggling. “Not that I have any kind of problem with that…”
“No, I´m sure that there is something wrong with her…”Applejack insisted. “In the last three days, her behavior has been completely different than usual.”
“Do you think that she could have any kind of trouble?” Fluttershy asked with a concerned voice.
“If only Twilight was here, she would have told us what to do. But now she is in a very important meeting with princess Celestia…”
“What if the Rainbow Dash that is with us is not the real Rainbow Dash, but an evil clone she made using magic to do her chores?” Suggested Pinky pie, with a weird expression on her big blue eyes.
“Pinky, what are you talking about?” Rarity asked her.
“I just don´t know what I´m saying…” Pinky Pie admitted, while giggling.
I didn´t say anything because I didn´t want to say anything bad about Applejack friends disregard of my personal opinion on them. However, once I was ready, me and the others sited down around a big table, the place where Granny Smith was going to made her speech.
Even when I didn´t say anything, being there was very uncomfortable for me, since Rainbow Dash was there, hugging Braeburn as he was her boyfriend and most of the ponies invited to the reunion didn´t knew what to say. Braebrun himself seemed very ashamed when he saw me, and he wasn´t able to say anything to me.
“I didn´t know that Rainbow Dash liked Braeburn so much…” Rarity said. “I thought she was dating Big Macintosh…” Big Macintosh heard that last commented and joined the conversation immediately to give one aclaration:
“We only went on one date…But we decided to stay as friends…” He explained us, blushing. But he seemed a bit jealous of Braeburn. I wondered if he still had strong feelings about Rainbow Dash. However Rainbow Dash didn´t pay any attention to him, and she glared at me.
Granny Smith made an incredibly long speech that lasted at least 25 minutes. The ponies were impatient to eat. But once Granny Smith ended her speech after reading a poem, we were ready to eat.
But then…Two unexpected guests appeared in the place, wearing white robes. One of them was Zecora the zebra. And the other one was…Another Rainbow Dash!
Everyone gasped.
“What is going on here?” Granny Smith asked with confusion.
“I don´t know what is happening!” Applejack said. “Why there are two Rainbow Dash?”
“She is an imposter!” The other Rainbow Dash said, pointing her exact double. “Don´t trust her, she is dangerous! She attacked us and kept Zecora and me inside a cage for three days! ”
“No, you are the imposter!” The other Rainbow Dash replied. “I am the real rainbow Dash!”
“Both are the real Rainbow Dash!” Zecora explained us. “They are different parts of Rainbow Dash psyche, which we separated with magic!”
“What? Why did you do that?” Applejack asked, and Rainbow Dash started to laugh nervously.
“Why I wouldn´t want to do that? I mean, who doesn´t want to split their psyche in a half…”
“You wanted to have a clone to do your chores, right?” PinkyPie asked the other Rainbow Dash, who simply didn´t knew what to answer her.
“No, she did it for other reason…” Zecora tried to say, but the other Rainbow Dash interrupted her. “Zecora, don´t tell them about what we talked in your house!”
“But they need to know…” Zecora replied. However, before the other Rainbow Dash could answer her, the other part of Rainbow Dash screamed: “You want to take my beloved Braeburn apart from me, right? But I won´t let you to do that! If Braeburn can´t be mine, he won´t for anyone else!”
And just after she said that, the apparently evil Rainbow Dash double flew away taking Braeburn with her, before any of us could react.
“No, Braeburn!” I screamed, and then we followed the Rainbow Dash double who was flying away too fast. The other Rainbow Dash tried to follow her, but she was clearly exhausted, and she couldn´t fly so fast as her apparently evil counterpart, so Fluttershy helped her.
However, the apparently evil Rainbow Dash double tackled violently Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, making the two ponies fell. Fortunately, the two ponies were rescued by Big Macintosh who saved both just in time before the other Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy hit the ground.
“That part of Rainbow Psyche is flying too high!” Zecora exclaimed. “If she kept flying in that way, she would reach a part of the atmosphere where she and Braeburn couldn´t breathe, and they could die!” “No! I won´t let that happen!”
We didn´t have much time, and even when I wasn´t a pegasus or an alicorn, I used my magic to create some special wings for me, which allowed me to follow the apparently evil Rainbow Dash double. Under other kind of circumstances, I wouldn´t be able to follow her, but since I was worried for anything that could happen to my beloved Braeburn, I flew as fast as I could…And finally I was able to reach the Rainbow Dash double.
“Get away of Braeburn! He´s mine!” The Rainbow Dash double said.
“Stella, this is too dangerous!” Braeburn warned me. “You have to escape!”
“No!” I replied him. “I won´t abandon you, even if it is dangerous…Because…Because…Oh My Celestia, I know this may sound weird, but…I…I… I love you Braeburn! Even when I barely know you, those are my true feelings!”
My words take Braeburn by surprise and angered a lot the Rainbow Dash double who wanted to tackle me. I got ready for the worst, but then a magical shield protected me.
“That wasn´t my magic!” I said to myself, after witnessing that unexpected miracle. “Who saved me?” Suddenly, in the middle of the clouds, a very beautiful purple alicorn appeared.
“Twilight?” The Rainbow Dash double asked, but the beautiful purple alicorn used her magic to immobilize her, and then, she used a very powerful spell to make her fell sleep. Once that happened, we were able to take the Rainbow Dash double and Braeburn back to earth, where Zecora used one of her spells to merge the two parts of Rainbow Dash psyche.
The others were surprised to see her good friend Twilight Sparkle, because they didn´t were expecting to see her too soon, but Twilight replied them that she decided to return to Ponyville before the date she originally planned, because she had a very important message to deliver.
“I still don´t know why Rainbow Dash wanted to make a double of herself…” Fluttershy asked. “She never planned to make a double…” Zecora explained the other ponies. “She was having a problem trying to examine her feelings for two different ponies, and asked me for help!”
“Zecora!” the now normal Rainbow Dash shrieked angrily. “You promised you won´t tell!” But then she went to Braeburn and apologized.
“Sorry for all the problems my double caused…I guess…that a very nasty part of my mind was somewhat obsessed with you, Braeburn…But I never wanted to hurt you!”
“That´s okay, I guess…” Braeburn said, still confused for the situation, as most of us still were.
Then Rainbow Dash went to talk with Big Macintosh, to thank him for saving her life.
Zecora explained us the situation in private, telling us that in the previous days, rainbow Dash was having an inner conflict due her feelings about Big Macintosh and Braebrun, and asked her for a potion to make her to decide which was her true love.
“Sadly, my potion only split her mind into different entities…One of them was truly in love with Big Macintosh and the other was aggressively obsessed with Braeburn…The aggressive part of her obsessed with Braebrun attacked us before we could react and left us imprisoned in one of the monster cages I kept in my house during three days, but after a lot of efforts, we were able to escape in order to solve all this misunderstanding…”
“It seems all what as a terrible misunderstanding…” Twilight Sparkle said, so she decided to use her magic to erase the memories of everyone involved in order to make the other ponies forget about what the Rainbow Dash double did. Once everything was apparently solved, Applejack properly introduced me her good friend Twilight Sparkle, but then
Braebrun said that he needed to talk with me in private, so we went to another place to talk:
“Braeburn…About what I told you when you were in danger…It was absolutely true…” I admitted. “I know it doesn´t made any kind of sense since we just met one day ago, but i…I truly love you and…”
“Stella...” Braeburn interrupted me. “We actually knew each other before…”
“What?” I asked, confused for those words from my beloved Braeburn.
“Braeburn, why did you say that we knew each other before?” I asked my beloved Braeburn. “I don´t understand!”
“I was the boyfriend of your sister, Stella! Before her tragic accident, we were a couple…Perhaps you don´t remember very well all what happened during those days, but we knew each other before! You were so little then…and your sister loved you so much, that she asked me as a last desire to protect you…But once you and your family moved to Manehattan, I felt guilty for not being able to accomplish my promise…”
“Braeburn…” I whispered, unable to believe what I was hearing.
“When you announced your return to Ponyville, Applejack wrote to me, because she knew that you were too important to me…So I went to Ponyville, not only to the reunion of my family, but also to see you. But when I finally saw you after all this time…I never expected falling in love in you. Oh, Celestia, you look exactly like her, when she was your age…” Braeburn said, with tears on his beautiful eyes. Then he added, with a very sad voice:
“Please forgive me for toying with your feelings, I never wanted to do that…”
“Braeburn…You didn´t do that! I truly love you! I loved you from the first moment that I knew you!”
Braebrun remained silent, and then he added:
“I´m very confused right now…I don´t know what to do…”
“Me neither…” I replied him, with a sad voice. “I didn´t knew that you were the boyfriend of my girlfriend…I think that I´ve forgotten that…”
“You forgot that because your parents deleted that part of your memory with magic…” Braeburn explained me, and that revelation take me by surprise.
“Why they did that?” I asked.
“I don´t know. Perhaps if you recover your memories, you would be able to know the reason…But then, perhaps you will be able to remember a harsh truth!”
“But I need to know the truth!” I replied him. “I have to know it in order to know what I should do now…Because what I feel for you is so strong and intense, that I wouldn´t be able to ignore it! The only way to assume those feelings is knowing all the truth about the past, even if it could hurt me!”
And I after said those words, I went were Twilight Sparkle was. I informed her about the situation, and I asked he if she knew a way to made me recover those memories that were deleted or repressed bya magic.
“I can make you remember with my magic, but I´m not sure of what kind of revelation you could get from the past, Stella Maris…” she warned me, but I insisted in finding out the truth.
“I think this is the only way, Twilight. I need to know to truth…”
“Is that what you really want, I will help you…I hope you find what you are looking for…”
Twilight Sparkle made then a very powerful spell with her horn that made instantly remember all the things I forgot from the early years of my life…In that way, I was able to remember the relationship my sister and Braeburn had, and how we happy we used to be in those times…But I was also able to remember that during those times, I fell in love with Braeburn…After her tragic accident, I had an intense guilt for being in love with her boyfriend, something that a good sister should have never done…
“Oh sister…Oh Braeburn…” Now I know the truth…And now I understand that even when my love for Braeburn is pure and true it also couldn´t be…At least, not for now…”Twilight looked at me with empathy and concern, and asked me if knowing that revelation was what I really wanted.
“I think that is the ebst to know the truth rather than ignoring it…” I sighed. “If I chose to forget this part of my past that would be incredibly unfair with my sister and Braeburn…”
Twilight smiled in a mysterious way after I said those words, and then she said she had something to show me. “Please, come with me, to my home…” she said. “There is something you need to see…”
I went with Twilight Sparkle to her house, where I had the chance to meet a little dragon called Spike, who was very funny and polite, so we instantly become friends.
Inside the house, there was a golden box which was contained an strange piece of jewelry which looked exactly like the one I saw in my last dream, so asked Twilight what was inside the box. To my surprise, she replied me that it was a strange artifact which was recently found by Princess Celestia, called the crown of dreams.
“According with some legend would be able to grant any kind of wish to the pony who owns it. However, other legends say that it is only necessary to wear it once to accomplish a personal wish…”
“Sounds like a fairy tale for me…” I replied.
“I think you should wear it…And make a wish…” Twilight said to me.
“Twilight, you can´t be serious!” I answered her, but Twilight looked at me with an honest expression on her eyes.
“Sometimes, believing is the only thing that one does need to accomplish a goal...” she commented, but I still wasn´t able to believe that a simple crown would be able to make me accomplish my wish.
“Are you sure this would work?” I asked.
“Everything is possible here in Equestria…You only have to believe…”
After some doubts, I decided to wear the crown and make a wish as Twilight Sparkle suggested. And my only wish was to find a way to solve the problem of my relationship with Braebrn.
At first, nothing happened…But a few moments later, the house of Twilight Sparkle vanished in front of my eyes…In fact, I felt like I was magically transported to a completely different place…It looked like some sort of meadow near to a river. There, I found my sister, who looked more beautiful and happier than ever.
I immediately ran to her, unable to believe what I was seeing. I tenderly embraced her with several tears in my eyes, and she shed some tears of joy too. However, to my surprise, appeared to have some beautiful golden wings, even when she wasn´t a Pegasus or an alicorn.
“Stella, don´t give up Braeburn...” My sister adviced me. “You know that your love is pure and true, and he loves you too. If you give up your love, you would regret your entire life…”
“But Jewel… (That was my sister´s name) are you really sure of that?” I asked her, with tears in my eyes. She nodded, and then she extended her beautiful wings, as she ascended to heaven, while a golden halo appeared over her head.
“Please, Stella, don´t give up your true love! Don´t give up Braeburn!” She said to me, while she was ascending to heaven, and I promised to don´t give up true love.
Then a white bright light surrounded me and….And…I found myself in the bed of my room. My room in our new house at Ponyville. I got up from bed, and I went downstairs, where I found my parents.
“What happened? What day is today?” I asked my mother, and to my major surprise, she replied me that it was Sunday, that mean, one day after the Apple Family reunion. I wasn´t sure if what happened inside Twilight Sparkle house was a dream or not, but I decided to follow the advice of my sister Jewel…
“I won´t give up Braeburn, dear Jewel…”I said myself on private. “No matter what, I won´t give up my true love…”
I went immediately to Sweet Apple Acres, looking for Braeburn. There I found Applejack and Big Macintosh, who were surprised by my unexpected visit. I asked them about Braeburn, and they replied me with a sad expression on their eyes, that he left Sweet Apple Acres in the morning to take the next train to Appelosa…
“No!” I exclaimed. “I had to stop him!”
I immediately ran towards the Ponyville train station. There was a lot of people there in that morning, but Braeburn wasn´t nowhere to be seen…I started calling him repeatedly but nobody answered me in those moments. The train was going to depart Ponyville soon, but I insisted calling my beloved Braeburn…
Once the train left Ponyville, I thought all my hopes were lost, and I was to ready to return to my house, feeling miserable. But then…Somebody called me by name.
It was Braeburn!
He had his packs at his side. He apparently lost his train, but I couldn´t avoid feel an intense happiness about the mere fact of him being there, in front of me.
“Stella…” he mumbled, with tears on his eyes. “I tried…I tried to return to my home to Appelosa…But I knew that I wouldn´t able to do that….Not without you…”
I started to shed some tears of joy, and I ran towards him as he ran toward me. We then kissed passionately in the station, and then after a very expressing our true feelings to each other, we decided to return to Sweet Apple Acres, where everyone was surprised, but happy to see us.
Braeburn decided to stay in Ponyville, and he started working in Sweet Apple Acres, where he started working with his relatives. I visited him every day, constantly helping him with the work.
Applejack was very happy for us, and I told her that I wouldn´t have been able to get over my fears and doubts without the help of Twilight Sparkle and my sister.
Applejack looked at me with a confused expression on her eyes.
“But Twilight didn´t return to Ponyville yet…She is going to return to Ponyville tomorrow…”
“But…But…Yesterday I went to her home!” I replied her.
“Perhaps you confused her with another pony…” She suggested me, and I didn´t knew what to answer her. The whole incident about the magical crown inside Twilight Sparkle´s house happened in a very confusing, almost dream-like way. What if I actually imagined the whole incident?
When Twilight Sparkle arrived at the next day, Applejack introduced her to me, but she acted in a very mysterious way, as if we had met before. Her sympathetic dragon companion Spike acted in the same manner.
For a long time, I wondered if the whole incident with the crown and the vision of my sister actually happened or were just mere dreams, but I was never able to solve the mystery. I guess that Twilight and Spike are the only ones who know the real answer.
Anyway, that didn´t mattered. Braeburn and I were very happy, and we both honored the memory of my sister Jewel each day with our love.
Things started to changed positively around us as well: After some initial doubts, Big Macintosh and Rainbow Dash decided to give another chance to their relationship, and they become a couple.
Two years after the start of our relationship, once we decided that we were mature enough to consummate our love, we got married in the cathedral of Ponyville, in a big ceremony were everyone was invited.
A few months later, we had our first colt, which we named Marcus. We moved to our own farm, where we raised our own family, but we remained closed to Applejack and others, writing many letters to them and visiting constantly.
Big Macintosh and Rainbow Dash got married too, a few years later, and they had many pony babies.
One day, Twilight Sparkle and Spike visited us…While Spike played with Marcus and our other Pony children, Twilight asked me if I was happy.
“Of course I am. I feel like I was living in a dream every single day of my life.” I replied her.
“I am glad of that…” she answered me, smiling in a mysterious manner.
We both looked at the sky at those moments. Maybe it was just my impression, but I think I saw my beloved sister Jewel flying in the middle of heaven, smiling at us.
I shed some tears of joy, and Twilight asked me if everything was okay.
“Yes.” I replied her, smiling and crying at the same time. “This is the happiest moment of my entire life.”
